Whisper & Lanolin 🤝 Being the unluckiest characters in IDW's Sonic comics, Do you agree?
Yes, that sounds right. Though by this point, Surge and Kit are giving them a run for their money.

Do you think that thw Wachowski brothers at least once in a week "reenact" the "not fighting" scene from the cuphead show?
Reenact? They do this on a weekly basis at times to where it’s practically scheduled and timed due to them doing it so often.

Hey Isabella, I know that you choose a bad moment to pull it out, but how did your romantic attempt to Phineas in Paris didn't work? I mean a boy, a girl, alone in the city of love, I thought romance was a foregone conclusion.

From the preview of Ep 60 do you think that it's going to be something like Rowlett's decidueye disguise or it will be Farfetch'd evolution?
Kamonegi is evolving. For sure.
The whole thing with the evolution is that the leek gets cut into half. That's what's happening next week.
Imo it feels rushed due to them ignoring Kamonegi for longest time and then sudden sprint on focus and then boom, evolution, but I'm still happy it's happening! And with the lore in mind!
The preview also sorta showed Negigaknight with the pose being shown, he just, happens to be directly at the sight of the sun so it's impossible to say whether it's Kamonegi or Negigaknight.
But I am 100% certain it's happening next week.
I'll eat something I don't like if it doesn't lol

Was FPS really the most embarrassing behavior from Sonic and shadow or there was other even worse?
FPS definitely had to have been the worst! Getting drunk, becoming besties and singing karoake with your “frienemy” is pretty dang embarrassing!

To Lincoln have you ever (even if it was rather short lived) hold a grudge that lasted more than a day against any of your sisters (like luan pulling her called ronnie anne on april fools stunt for example)
Lincoln: “Eh, not really. I’m not the type of person to hold grudges for a long time. I usually get over them.”

If you and your boss enrage Lord Dominator enough to make her hunt you across the galaxy, would you join forces with Wander and Sylvia (Who, in that scenatio, are hunted as well) ?
“Sure, we could use all the help we can get! I don’t mind Sylvia as much when she’s not beating me up anyhow.”

Do you think that, if Amy finds out about either the scrapnik or the overpowered incident, she would encourage Sonic and Tails to take a break and then go to eggman and either beat him up or scare him so much that he doesn't dare to do anything for a couple of months so they don't get worried?
If Amy could get Eggman to stop being awful through force or otherwise, she would have done it by now. Truth is, if Super Sonic isn't enough to cow him, nothing is.
But I do think she'd encourage Sonic and Tails to rest, yeah. They wouldn't listen, but she would encourage it.

What do you think of this impossible ship?
Sonic x Therapy.
I mean, it's fine. I think Shadow needs it more, though.

What character in Sonic do you think is exempted from the "Draw 25 or go to therapy" meme?
I think Amy has a pretty good handle on her mental health, to be honest. Vanilla does as well, and Cream would because Vanilla and Amy do, so she has a good parent / good example to follow. Jewel would be fine with seeing a therapist, and Kit would go if Surge told him to (but Surge wouldn't tell him to so that's a moot point). There are probably others. Big maybe? Although I don't know if he would even need it, lmao. But he'd probably also be open to it; Team Rose seems to be the most mentally / emotionally stable of the teams.

I have a couple of questions
1. Do you think that the reason the IDW writers separated Tangle and Whisper was because they couldn't find a convincing way for Whisper not to need to be internalized if on top of losing her wisps she saw her girlfriend being beaten into a pulp?
2. Do you think Tails' recent treatment ( aside from this issue, it appears that he's going to save the day in Scrapnik Island) on the comics is a sort of "apology" to the fans who didn't like his portrayal in "Forces"?
I don't know what you mean exactly by "not to need to be internalized", so I can't really answer that. I can say that . . . probably not? I'll admit that I was one of the people salty that Whisper didn't get to go on the girls' trip in "Trial by Fire", especially since she's so close to both Tangle and Jewel (like, girlfriend launched herself off the Babylon Rogues' airship to save Jewel, she cares), but the fact that the arc ended with Tangle deciding to take a leave of absence from the resistance to go find her mollified me a bit. I will also say that it is in-character for Whisper to want to leave to go track down Mimic again to put his ass back in jail, although I maintain that it was out of character for Tangle to agree to stay behind, considering how hard she fought to be Whisper's backup in their miniseries. It's why in my most recent fic I sort of rationalized it by having Tangle think that Whisper lost confidence in her after she was infected during the Metal Virus pandemic, and that her own insecurities made her feel like she couldn't argue back against that.
For your second question . . . mm, no? I don't think it's an apology of any kind. Remember that literally everything that goes into these comics has to be approved by Sonic Team. If Ian or Evan said, "we want to write this games character like [x]," Sonic Team could easily say "no, you're not allowed," and then they wouldn't do it. To this end, this is why Shadow's infection in #19 (pretty sure it was #19) was so awful; Ian did what he could with it, but Sonic Team has it in their heads right now that Shadow has to be Vegatadow, and therefore has to be super cocky to the point of being stupid with his behavior. Similarly, in "Chao Races & Badnik Bases," Evan had to write him saying he didn't care about Omega and didn't want to help anyone out, even though that's also (imo) out of character for who he used to be. But it's not who Sonic Team wants him to be right now, so here we are.
All of that said, the same goes for Tails. Sonic Team wrote Forces, which treated him terribly. It was bad, I don't know anyone who liked that. But if Sonic Team wanted him to be a coward who couldn't save the day without some version of Sonic holding his hand, then there's nothing that Ian or Evan could do to change that. And you might say, well, maybe Sonic Team adjusted their approach based on feedback. And maybe they did . . . but it's not as if those of us who don't like how Shadow has been handled have been exactly quiet about it. And yet this characterization has been sticking around for some time now, from the comics, to the games (I forgot to mention it in the other post but I also played Team Sonic Racing and liked it despite Shadow once again being Like That), and probably in Prime as well. The only hope I have for early!Shadow right now is the third movie, because that's going to cover SA2's story (presumably). But otherwise, Sonic Team does what Sonic Team wants to do, feedback be damned. And as much as it frustrates me concerning characters like Shadow, as someone who holds fast and true to Aroace Sonic Supremacy, I have to say I'm glad that Sonic Team is sticking to their guns on the "no reciprocated romance for Sonic" rule. Like, please keep sticking to that one, Sonic Team. I know the shippers will give you money, but like. Please. Do it for her. And by "her," I mean me.
Anyway, TL;DR: I think that Ian and Evan have written Tails the way they want to write him, while also being permitted to do so by Sonic Team. Sonic Team done goofed in Forces, but there are also other modern Sonic games where Tails did get to at least help in saving the day, so it's not as if they're against that idea, either. Honestly, I think Tails' treatment in Forces was a lot less about him and a lot more about needing to create space for the Player Avatar. They wanted the Player Avatar to be Sonic's wingman, and that meant shoving his actual wingman into a closet. It sucks, but it is what it is.
So no, I don't think it's an apology. I think it's just Ian and Evan and the other writers doing what they want with Tails, and Sonic Team being like, "Sure, that works."

Out of curiosity, why does it bothers you that Sega refers to Tails as a sidekick? I mean its pretty much an informed attribute/flaw at this point, since if I remember right, he's never referred as such in game and only a couple of times in the Archie and IDW comics and in Sonic Boom.
The term “sidekick” is just demeaning, imo. A sidekick is a hero’s assistant, a hero’s helper, theyre not a hero in their own right, not really. There’s a reason why the word “sidekick” is often preceded by the word “little,” as in, “your little sidekick.” Sure, sidekicks help. But they very rarely, if ever, go on solo adventures. It’s why the various Robins throughout the years adopted other identities when they went solo (most of the time, anyway). Dick Grayson became Nightwing, Stephanie Brown was Spoiler, Jason Todd was Red Hood, and so on and so forth. Sure, you get instances like Teen Titans where Dick was still Robin even as he led the Titans, but most of the time when sidekicks “graduate” to being heroes in their own right, they take on a new name and hero identity. Sidekicks are assistants, subordinates, tagalongs. It’s a step down from hero.
So for me, “sidekick” is a belittling term, and I’m not a fan of it. But I also feel that it just doesn’t fit Tails anymore! Yes, he helps Sonic—but he also helps the rest of the team with his tools and technology. And more importantly, he has had solo adventures and he has saved the day on his own, multiple times. “Tails’ Sky Patrol” and “Tails Adventure” are both games where he’s the only playable character / hero. The Sonic Adventure games had an entire arc about him stepping into heroism in his own right, with him saving Station Square on his own in SA1 and having numerous successful solo missions / solo battles against Eggman where he came out victorious (on the Hero Side, sure, but still). In the comics, he’s not only held his own in most of his appearances (the only time we saw him cowering was at the very end of the Metal Virus saga), but he was also the one who essentially came up with a cure for the Metal Virus before it was destroyed, managed to talk down his evil clone, saved the day altogether in the most recent issue, etc. At this point, Tails helps Sonic as much as Sonic helps him. It’s not a hero-sidekick/assistant relationship, they’re hero partners.
So it just bugs me. It’s not that I think Tails is some amazing hero with no flaws—actually, part of the reason I like him so much is because he has flaws. I like that he’s not great at lying and can be caught off-guard sometimes (such as when he blurted out “how did you know?!” when Eggman said the Emerald was fake in SA2). I like that he’s not always confident in himself, that he feels afraid in dangerous situations, even as he squares up to do the thing anyway. I like that he can be a little sensitive at times, and have fits of temper like the kid he is. But you can have flaws—you can lack self-confidence at times, you can be afraid in the face of danger, you can be young and inexperienced or naïve—and still be a hero. Hell, in the IDW comics, Cream’s bio calls her “Gentle Heroine,” and she’s never had a solo adventure or saved the day on her own! Keep in mind that I’m not against Cream being called a hero, because she’s definitely on Team Hero and she’s SO brave and I adore her—but if anyone could count as a sidekick (apart from Kit), it would be Cream to Amy’s hero. But . . . she’s not. She gets the bump up to hero/heroine while Tails is just “sidekick.” I wish I could understand what the criteria or thought process is here, but I just don’t. It makes no sense.
So yeah, it bugs me. It’s probably going to always bug me. It’s small potatoes when Tails is otherwise treated very well in the comics (and I can only hope he gets treated well in Frontiers after the Forces debacle), but it’s still an annoyance whenever I look at the descriptive blurbs on the bio page of the comics. It’s just one of those things.

So... Koharu's Eevee is "buddy" Eevee from let's go confirmed?
Nope.
Koharu’s Eevee knows Copycat so it can copy different types of moves. It’s been showcased like it’s showcased atm before with Cameron’s Riolu. :)
Design wise this Eevee girl does take roots from Let’s Go, and I think Koharu is sort of a Let’s GO tie-in character. But aside from design choice (as in the eye color is the buddy eye color instead of usual Eevee one) there’s nothing else that confirms it. :)

Do you think that the passing (at least Riolu 's development) is a little rushed? I mean he went from a troublemaker to a baby in a couple of episodes and in this one he went full big bro mode when Pikachu lost.
It’s been 18 episodes since Riolu was born. Right now, I’m fine with the pacing, as it has been shown to grow on many levels.
I was scared of the pacing being WAY faster so I’m fine with what we have. Had Riolu evolved today, then I would have said that yes, it’s extremely rushed. But now we have couple more episodes with it, once we see how it evolves, I’ll have a better opinion. BUt at most, Riolu is here for... 5 more episodes.

I know that 1. My only source to think so is a couple of seconds in the opening and 2. There's nothing to even suggest these events are connected but do you think that (even though ultimately Gou is the most likely one to do it) the Alola gang will have a large impact in getting Ash out of his funk? (since the opening paints it as a plot point)
You mean the aftermath Satoshi will be suffering from after heavily hinted loss against Bea/Saito?
I’m all on board with Alola, being Satoshi’s second home pretty much, contributing to Satoshi regaining his own self of sorts. I would be fully on board! It did seem like the opening was showcasing stuff that is happening in the near future already, I think possibly the next 30 episodes or so!

Do you think that "Journeys" MUST have an episode where Jessie and James get from the gatcha an Arbok and an Galarian Weezing snd throw a huge tantrum when its time for (presumably) returning them to the HQ?
That would actually be fun to see. I’d also love to see them reunite with their original partners aaah it’s been too long ;V;
