SEAHORSE (2019) dir. Jeanie Finlay Freddy is a 30-years-old gay transgender man who yearns to start a family, but for him this ordinary desire comes with unique challenges. Deciding to carry his own baby took years of soul searching, but nothing could prepare him for the reality of pregnancy, as both a physical experience and one that challenges society's fundamental understanding of gender, parenthood and family. ok wait sharing some of my references for this zuko and azula art <3 becus I love all of your appreciative tags ssdhsdh but I feel bad accepting them since I actually didnt reference anything Japanese in that art THOUGH THAT WOULD WORK TOO !! can revisit with Mai or Suki :]
Zuko I pretty much just ripped from King Tabinshwehti in The Legend of Suriyothai movie (2001) ... cus like.. I had to... cunt levels extreme...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Azula I also referenced mainly Thai and Burmese clothing/makeup :] these are the only pics I can find on my puter from then the rest lost to the sauce or on my pinterest somewhere probably..

I think some of the more detailed aspects of clothing that get lost in my art (because I am tired and lazy and dont want to render them all) can make it harder to localize what exactly I'm referencing so.. yea

Paul Whitehouse: Our Troubled Rivers
Anyone who's got access to BBC iplayer (live in UK or use VPN), I really recommend giving this documentary a watch. It's about the state of the waterways in Britain, and how private water companies get away with pumping sewage and microplastics into our rivers, citing treatment costs, while raking in massive profits and paying their CEOs millions.
