my reason for seeing simon and transfem is… is very stupid. because theres no like, lore reason i think of them as a woman. 😭 but it’s mostly because of a few reasons that make no sense

• simon looks pretty as a woman

• i think petrigrof being wlw makes it more awesome. doomed yuri is a very common trope so like why not add one more am i right ladies

• simon just looks very feminine at times in general.. so i look at him and go “yay pretty lady”

• no matter what ur stance on simon is, everyone agrees he does not look cisgender.

but, tldr, i just think its neat. i dont have any real reasons for it but i dont have a reasons for anything at all what so ever LMAO

i don't have all the details figured out yet, but i can say for certain my sona's a regular at the cafe so- they bumped into each other eventually (maybe literally. oops)

as of right now their dynamic is a bit of an awkward friendship because as soon as things enter a more romantic territory they both bail lmAO

also she doesn't drink but.. ...sometimes she goes to the speakeasy anyway to watch him the band play 😔

random wisp thoughts

(minor dungeon meshi spoilers i just use it as a reference) so. this was probably just an inconsistency between episodes but im gonna be crazy abt it anyways the wisp is different sizes between episodes, so i imagine she can change sizes/shift her body and appearance depending the the person. not completely shapeshift, but simply shift herself slightly. the main examples of this im using is her making herself look more scary for mark & well yk the size changing.

also. sorry to mention dungeon meshi BUT

i can imagine something similar to this w the wisp and petro. idk. weird guy and his strange mother issues is being taken care of by a centuries old wisp of evil

Here's my yearly playlist 3 months (March) into 2024!

Maybe one or two new songs from February. I've been just playing my liked songs instead of searching for new songs. I also went on a bit of a 2000s rock kick. It's very funny. I have very real nostalgia of Kidz Bop's version of Nickelback's Photograph. To the point that, for a long while, I didn't know Kidz Bop was singing "a cover" of it.

I have been listening to lots of songs on repeat but largely outside of my yearly playlist. Which isn't to say I don't like any of the songs on it anymore, but I'm bouncing between genres and what I want to listen too!

We'll see what March brings. Still slowly poking through bands' discographies. I'll finish Harley Poe's tonight. Don't know who I'll do next... I have a list of bands I do want to listen to all the way through though!

hi! sorry this one was sitting in my inbox for a while, im finally getting around to answering it!

back when tempest had just moved to inkopolis, alison would check in with them everyday and visit their place a couple times a week (sometimes bringing olivia with her). they'd offer help with house chores and cooking, keeping them company and making sure they felt loved and cared for. nowadays, the distance (and other things; alivia are raising children etc) makes it more difficult for these moments to happen, but they still keep in touch and tempest knows they can always count on them for support.

more often than not, tempest would be the one in need of comfort, but they know exactly how to support alison too. she'd listen to her thoughts and worries and take her on dates to her favorite spots in town (which they know all about).

on that note, temp Also takes dawn on dates as a way to comfort and reassure her when she's feeling low. sometimes to her favorite places too, but frequently to spots she's never been in, because she loves finding out about new places. and also, just words of affirmation. dawn is very direct and bold about her feelings, and even though temp Is Not, they make an effort to try and return that kind of affection to her.

so, dawn comforts tempest with verbal reassurance but Also: lots of physical touch. that's what comforts them the most, especially when they're feeling anxious. tempest is the definition of "having someone lay on top of me like a weighted blanked would probably fix me" !

jamie would bring temp out of her apartment every once in a while. to touch grass. nowadays temp manages to go out more often by themself but they often hang out together too. jamie is always checking in and giving them silly little gifts and art she makes

every once in a while tempest will come and spend a day or two at jamie's apartment; they have sleepovers and laugh at dumb tv shows and order junk food and have fun, so temp can force j to turn her brain off for a bit and rest. of course, since they got to know dawn she's joined in on these sometimes, but it's mainly a temp/jamie tradition.

ever since they were younger, alison and olivia have had the habit of reading silently together, sharing the same book. when alison is feeling down, olivia will read something out loud for him. it's very soothing and he often ends up dozing off eventually.

as for the other way round, when olivia has a bad day alison will try her best to put everything in order at home and buy her favorite snacks and get the couch ready for a particularly cozy session of watching sitcoms together.
