Your understanding of space and composition is amazing. Do you have any tips or just common practices that you do while planning out a piece?

aah this would be such a good question to answer, however i really dont know how to explain my process with those kinds of things. ill try to explain little bits that i do actively think about though.

i work in very small sizes, it makes adjusting much easier and personally i find it way less overwhelming than working on a larger scale.

pushing perspective of things can be so much fun, it also looks reallly interesting too. personally, i try not to worry about the anatomical accuracies when it comes to doing perspective, you just play with it until you think it looks like it could be correct. its hard to do perspective when you're too focused on the 'correct' way to do it, so start with getting the sizing of everything first before working on correcting everything else.

uhhm. when working on a room / background, i think a lot about my own experiences and what i think looks interesting. too much is too much to look at, things start to blend together. but too little is really boring, leaving you wanting more. you have to add things until you think it looks filled in enough to your liking, unless of course you're going for hoarder mess / sterile room. idk if this makes any sense to anyone else but thats how i think of it. i start with a bare room and slowly add to it until i think yeah that's enough.

unfortunately i dont really have any actual tips, a lot of my process is me basing off of the idea i see in my head at the moment .. im sorry..

and for 22 i think it kind of sucks how much people forget about how the entities all are sort of similar? like how sometimes the stranger has flesh elements (the stealing of skin and things that dont look quite human mixed with the twisting and contorting of flesh, the anatomy students manipulating hearts that should not beat, yk) also how the buried probably cant exist without the vast (cramped spaces cant exist without the existence of wide open spaces as well, because if there’s only cramped or only wide open, then either or is seen as the default), and how the spiral doesnt have to always present as this distortion, or fractals, or blinding colors (ex: dr david or that lady who had major insomnia as a result of spiral influence).

tonight.. i get to work on coding my own tumblr theme for once! my whole life on tumblr, ive used themes made by others, well, thats kind of a lie since i coded one when i was maybe 12? , but it kinda sucked. (if he hates you/is fighting you he WILL break skin. good luck. if hes biting bc hes annoyed he wont break the skin but there will be a little mark. if its a play fight there wont even be a mark) hes drank bleach and windex before. once seperate, once mixed together (<-vel dared him to do that)  i lied about him never being to the beach >:3 his mom used to take him to the beach whenever his dad was. being his usual self  he smells like lemons, burning flesh and or gunpowder, and like. decay + dust (<-death god stuff). i think theres also a weird apple-y smell there too idk  drinks ONLY black coffee. he hates it but refuses to drink it any other way  def a fan of sprite. likes the taste and carbonation  uheheh stims include: squealing when excited, humming or singing, echolalia, hand flaps or. ok this is very specific bc this is something i do but like. rapidly shaking his fists in front of his chest. also biting himself, others (lol), or the necklace mello got him, and also fox noises (and also singing! hehe)  post kira mess he gets the following tattoos: a strawberry (for beyond), halloween candy bucket thing (for L), a gun (mello), bideo bame controller (matt), and either a rubix cube or a die (near)  FEIRCLY fuckin protective of kids (<-due to guilt. if yk yk)  absolutely HATES knives. very scared of them too (winks)  eats lemons whole (he spits out the seeds, probably has a budding lemon tree somewhere nearby his house) very..very bad grammar when typing casually. has a habit of missing keys and making typos  animal magnet, including animals he should Not be befriending (ex: a wolf)  i like to think someone blew up his house once when he got to L.A. and thats probably the reason he was homeless  fucking LOVES being outside. will sleep outside (without a tent or sleeping bag mind you) whenever possible  gets a most like 6 hours of sleep per 12 days (night terrors/nightmares included) the little bastard has gained the ability to sprout a pair of fox ears and a tail, often happens at random and is definetely a stim (<-you can thank @/fabledgalaxies for that hehe) due to his mom being a kitsune

so i’m noticing all the jedi defenders are logging on. uhhm. (long and rambling)

we don’t have to get extreme and say they all deserved to be murdered in order to realize they still got problems. the jedi as an organization is flawed theologically in my opinion — getting personal here but ive got plenty of experience with groups/orgs that read well on the surface (guardians of peace and justice) but aren’t structurally, ideologically or theologically sound (the jedi code for starters), that don’t always meet their adherents needs and loose sight of the most basic needs like companionship, love, proper mental health etc instead of enlightened platitudes. i have beef with how jedi view what they experience as the the all encompassing force underlying everything (largely in strictly in black and white, sure theres the ‘living force’ and ‘cosmic force’ but there’s a sharp divide because of their history with the sith). how they reject and try to suppress any view on the force that doesnt match their own (this is not exclusive to dark side stuff either)

dunno if this is still canon but im pretty sure the jedi automatically have custody over any force sensitive child in the republic? or how they send the kids that dont pass the exams to work camps under harsh conditions for the rest of their lives? are we gonna talk about that?

i see people saying “well millions of other jedi were able to follow the rules, why couldn’t anakin? there’s nothing wrong with the jedi! just because he couldnt obey” i mean hes not the only one to defect and/or join the dark side. the way people view the jedi that leave puts a bad taste in my mouth; they all have their own reasons for leaving and yes sometimes that means the jedi as an organization is at fault. i think also in terms of ashoka leaving the order that often it is the jedi or jedi counsel’s fault. it reminds me of how people view apostates or ex religious folks, as a threat to the image of thing they left and people immediately go into defense to shirk any criticism or responsibility. brings me to another point about the counsel: the jedi have deeply flawed leadership too and tbh that deserves its own post and in depth research because theres a lot.

basically like. dont go blindly defending a huge religious organization even if its fictional. if real life has taught us anything…yeah the good doesnt always outweigh the bad or sometimes even come close. holding organizations like that responsible is the responsible thing to do, noticing their flaws and talking about them is healthy. not to resurrect the author but im pretty sure george lucas intended for the jedi to be flawed. theyre not blameless or perfect at the end of the day, theyre not fascists or evil incarnate, they didnt deserve literal genocide either but they are intrinsically flawed and that causes problems and drives the plot. thats okay to acknowledge

Tom: uhhm .. but yeah it took me a minute to figure out what was going on (to sam) cause i saw your face first, and the i saw dad’s face and i genuinely thought i was hallucinating.. I’m so tired, or i had too many beers. Cause i was surprise dad’s not in Edinburg…

Dom: it’s really expensive being a dad of four kids.. but talking about expense, we’re very excited because the brothers trust just launched this new event..

Dom: We’ve raised over .. 90 thousand dollars …. so far its been .. we lost the the level .. during screening Tom..

Dom: good now that thats resolved.. yeah the brothers trust.. when we founded it we sort of had the idea that we would shine a light on charities that perhaps dont get the publicity that big charities can generate and also we wanted to use charities that uhhmm are very sort of cost effective, that most of our money very muscular .. yeah most of the money goes to the recipients rather than the offices in London or the offices in New York the big sort of have main things that we didn’t want the money spent on and .. one of the charities is lunch bowl and (points at Harry) and you’ve just been to Kabira so ..

Kabila which is the second largest slum in sub-Saharan Africa and is the place of the charity that we support, lunch bowl.. and what lunch bowl does is .. that they have a nursery and now a primary school slash secondary school its about half and half .. and they basically take kids out of the slum .. everyday and then provide with school and the on Saturday’s i believe it is they have a feeding program within the slum where they have 300 kids come to the middle of Kabira and they feed 300 children yeah .. and they give them food and a sachet of milk and then on sunday they have rugby so ..

Harry: they have these coaches that come ..

Sam: we bought one of the buses ..

Harry; yeah one of the things that the brothers trust is .. we bought a bus which when i heard about that was like one.. they needed a bus .. but really, the rugby ground is five kilometers from kabira … and what happens is .. the bus is completely full.. its completely full .. like its to the point where there’s too many kids on the bus all the seats got two kids and then what happens is .. when i was there i saw like 20 kids at the gate of the rugby.. and they’re just outside the gate waiting and then we went over with the head coach and he was like.. explains to me .. these kids have walked 2 hours.. like in bare foot, to come and play rugby and then they get a meal afterwards.. and then another thing that the bus does is take the kids from Kabira to the new secondary school and .. and i think the reason it’s so great is the.. uhhm the chance of a child making it to five years old is 50% so you’re talking about like the flip of a coin, so taking a child out of Kabira for a day, for eight hours, ten hours of the day, drastically improves the chances of ..

Dom: and what they to do in Kabira is what we take for granted, we have school from say 4 to 18 mandatory free for us in Britain England and what we trying to do is to give these kids a chance to become educated ..

Harry: well .. they.. so they used to have this school, it went from i think, it was like 2 to 6 which is great but it’s not great because when their kid finishes at 6 years old where're they gonna go.. only go back to the slum, so now that it goes up to 15 they’ve only started out that last year .. is so massive for them because they can take a child from 2 years old to 15 and make a really shaped the personale ..

TAZ Episode 2 Minutes 0-10

Starting back up and they have a nice little recap section.  I think its worth mentioning that I really like the background music; Did Griffin do all of it?  I know i saw something about him donating its sales to a trans resource center or something, so I’m assuming its mostly his work.

I also notice that this episode is only an hour, while the last one was two.  Are most episodes 1 or 2 hours?  I saw the first episode was 2 which made me assume i would need to put aside more time for it, but i would be happy to be wrong.
