I have a few questions about your version of flumbo

1.) would it ever be possible to gain his trust as a human (please my heart hurts/hj)

2.) would cups balance on his horn nubs

3.) I’m not sure if you’ve clarified or not but what is his relationship with Syringeon? Do they hate each other or is it just annoyance or something else entirely

4.) can I marry him/j

1) Technically speaking, you COULD gain his trust but you'd need to be veeeryyy persistent on getting him on your side. That man is stubborn af and will not let the notion "that all humans are the same" go. You'd have to keep following him around and try to become someone he can lean on (aka try and make him know that you understand his problems and what not. Help him get around the facility and promise him a way out of the place). You'd have to prove this a bunch of times till u can get it through his thick skull and just then, when the realization hits him that you're not ,in fact, just another human wanting to hurt him and take advantage of him, he'd be absolutely confused. It'll take time of course but if you're determined you can get him to be your companion.

2) yes. Tho he wouldn't be pleased by it

3) Their relationship is kinda weird and not healthy, like at all. Syringeon has a massive god complex and add the fact that he helped create flumbo, it makes for a pretty unbalanced power hierarchy or whatever u can call it. Flumbo usually tries to mask his problems by acting like a smug mf and so the two clash. I plan to make a lil sketch where syringeon gets fed up with flumbo and threatens him by saying smt like

"Watch your tone with me, boy. Remember that as easily as I created you, I can break you apart and put you back together as I see fit".

Another thing to put on the flumbo trauma list. And the worst part is that flumbo thinks that getting on his side is the only way to get what he wants (basically just escape tho he's not exactly sure). And so, syringeon practically uses him as a pawn to use to achieve his goals and flumbo is stuck with him (and maybe brushista as well but I've not developed more of that side of things).

So in summary it's a little bit of both. Flumbo somewhat resents syringeon for the threats Yadda Yadda and syringeon is somewhat annoyed by his presence tho not as much as he is annoyed by... let's say the player or bittergiggle. Same goes to how he sees uthman (he deems them both as a necessary annoyance)

Heyyy I'm not sure if you accept asks about your Player One Luigi AU so feel free to ignore this if not, but: if Luigi feels upset and stressed about being the hero and doesn't want to be/thinks Mario woulb be better, does Mario feel upset about being player two/the supporting character and dream of being the hero, thinking Lu is much better at emotional support/thinking things through behind the scenes than he is?

Mario is pretty conflicted about it all tbh!

Obviously, he doesn't like how stressed out his brother is, and admittedly, he's used to being the one getting attention so he misses the limelight.

But ultimately Mario just. Wants his brother to understand that he IS the hero that people keep saying he is, so he's trying to support him however he can to raise his self esteem. After all he thinks Luigi is fully deserving of all the love

He's seen Luigi deal with insecurities and anxiety their entire lives, so he's kinda just hoping if he keeps supporting Luigi he'll eventually warm up to it and gain some confidence. In fact, when Luigi gets approached by fans Mario will purposefully wait a bit before stepping in so that Luigi can gradually improve his anxiety.

But most importantly! While Mario does feel sore about not being the hero/getting attention...he's also not JEALOUS of Luigi.

Mario wants to be recognized, but NEVER at the expense of taking away the respect Luigi deserves. They're brothers, they're in this together

Thank you so much for the kind message, @152glasslippers 💛🫂 It was an awful week of vet visits and trying so hard to take care of her, only to find out what was going on a few hours before we had to let her go. She was the first cat I raised on my own, from 4 weeks old to almost 12 this year.... We're all just heartbroken.

I appreciate you sharing about your fur-baby, it is never easy to go through for sure. Even when it's the right thing, it hurts like hell 💔

so basically enjolras has just gone through a super ridiculous breakup and his friends elect to send him to. oklahoma. (i did not choose oklahoma specifically because it's the place in the screenshot, but because i'm an okie and i deserve to write about oklahoma). anyway you'll never guess who enjolras meets in oklahoma :-) here is quite literally the only part of this that is written in any way that is possible for me to share:

Enjolras loves his friends. Really. They are kind, and courageous, and more loyal than a pack of golden retrievers. They are good friends, good people, and he would take a bullet for any one of them.  He loves his friends. He will remember that, soon.

i just started playing acnh (i got a switch lite after years of wanting one :D!) abd im no where near decorating but, do you have any tips for how to lay the groundwork of decoration. I have no clue how to make a pretty island but i really want one so any tips would be appreciated :}

thats def a good question, but honestly the main thing should just be to have fun with it and try to get creative in your own way, especially when you first start playing and everything is new💛 its hard to get items and diy’s fast in this game so patience is key and after a while you can consider trading with others and such if you feel its all too slow!

playing with terraforming and waterscaping is so fun but if you end up finding it hard i would look to the community and get some inspiration before starting a big project! im personally a big fan of moodboards and saving pictures that inspire me to build and decorate, so i recommend that too. doing a color palette with flowers and items is also a great way to structure your decorating and make things look very matchy and intentional!

i did a post a while back with tips for building up your island after flattening everything and i feel like that could also work for this ask -> here!🤍(instead of being tips for after flattening it could be how to structure starting over??)

the acnh community is large! we are here on tumblr ofc but youtube, pinterest and such are all great for gathering info and inspiration too🪴 also everyone with a very build up island has potentially been playing for years now, so take your own time and dont be too self-critical!🤍i 100% did not decorate the way i do now in the early days of playing!! hope you have fun with it!!💛

And technically, this design is still somewhat in their true canon, with some changes (I'm working on an updated ref sheet for their REAL completed bot designs soon, the toons are mostly for fun!). But they do start as their own separate beings. These two also now have a full story dedicated to them that is going to be dropped hopefully by the end of the year! This includes how they end up sharing a pair of legs, how Comedy gets corrupted, and introducing Tragedy's partner!

I have set aside all other big projects I had that were fandom related to make this original work a priority and I'm actually really excited to share more once it's ready! For now, I'm drawing them as they are when they're separated and in a more cartoony form just for fun and to just play with their designs a bit :)
