If you got a boyfriend, I'm jealous of him. But if you're single, that's honestly worse [Tyler x Reader x Bjorn] [NSFW, 18+ ONLY]
He doesn't know what's worse; his cousin's girlfriend or the fact that he can't get her off his damn mind.
A/N: 18+ only!!! i promise igddtdts is STILL in the works but I wanted to get this lil brain bunny out ehehehehe yes the song is a line from gorgeous by taylor swift also PS this is a FIC in no way do I condone cheating or anything like that so like. Don't go out and do that, it's bad!!!!! I'm DEBATING a part 2 for this but we'll see
Warnings: jealous behavior, possessive thoughts, Temptation™️, cheating, Bjorn knows he's fucked up here but he makes no efforts to change LMAO, exhibitionism, accidental overhearing of Sex, Cheeky Wank Mention™️, sexual acts, Tyler's face gets ridden, unprotected sex (wear a condom!!!), reader is a lil bit of an attention seeking minx ehehe, footsie
He can't stand her.
Tyler's new girlfriend is a sweet thing, always attached to him at the hip, it seems.
She works down at the housing offices, had met Tyler when he'd came by to pay rent and sparks had flown. Or some shite.
Tyler is head over heels, acting like a fucking sap most days. It's not surprising, he'd acted as such with Rain when that doomed relationship had been a thing.
But Rain and Tyler had broken up (damn near split the entire group too, fuck you very much), had been over for some years now, it was natural for his cousin to go out and get out there again.
Hell, Bjorn had encouraged it. In less than polite terms, of course.
But damn, did Tyler need to get fucking laid. His cousin had been tense more often than not, always frowning, always moping.
Sad sod.
And so, he'd met her.
He'd made some dumb joke about rent that Bjorn couldn't even bother to remember, and she'd supposedly found it hilarious, and bam, here they were, going strong a year later.
He hadn't minded her, at first.
Sure, her laugh was always the loudest, easy to pick out amongst others. She laughed way too easily, seemed to find everything funny.
Sure, her smile was the brightest, brighter than any star Bjorn could recall seeing. It was toothy, framed by perfect lips, which looked oh so sof-
But then that had started.
His thoughts tended to wander, now.
She would show up to the shitty bar they'd deigned their hang out, wearing those damn pencil skirts that hugged her hips and backside just so, or those slacks that made her legs look longer. Her blouse would be untucked, a button or two undone and her elegant neck exposed. Sometimes her eyes locked with his for a beat too long and he felt a fucking current shoot up his spine.
Innocent enough.
But oh, how Bjorn had thought about tearing that skirt right off of her body, collapsing to his knees and feasting on her pussy until the only name she knew was his. Hell, he'd do it in front of Tyler, if he had to, just to get the fucking point across-
Fuck, he was fucked.
If there was a hell, he was going straight there. Normal blokes didn't fantasise about fucking their cousin's girlfriend. A cheeky wank or two over it, maybe, but god, Bjorn felt unhinged.
He could feel his self control slipping, with every interaction, with every meeting of eyes.
He felt insane every time he saw his cousin's hands on you. An arm around your shoulders, a hand on your thigh, a finger tucking your hair behind your ear.
All instinctive, sweet touches between a couple. Nothing offensive.
And yet Bjorn wanted to set himself on fucking fire every time he saw it.
Jesus, maybe he needed to get laid.

You let out a strangled moan as Tyler licks another hot, wet stripe from your core to your clit, your fingers tightening in his hair as you ground down on his face.
"That's a good girl," he groans, hands tightening on your hips, rocking you to and fro against his face. He gently sucks your clit into his mouth, before soothing it with his tongue, releasing it briefly. "Always ride my face so fuckin' well, darlin', always look so fuckin' good using me to get yourself off."
"Tyler-" you damn near sob, bucking your hips faster, and faster, as you feel that ever familiar tightening sensation that signals your orgasm is approaching. "Baby, fuck- I'm so fucking close-"
He groans again, removing his mouth and staring up at you, panting softly. His handsome face is soaked in your slick, his eyes dark as they hungrily rove over your figure. A boyish grin lights up his face as you whine. He stands to his full height, towering over you as he backs you over to your desk.
"The blinds aren't down-" you hiss, only to be silenced by a kiss that tastes of you.
"So?" he hums, nosing at your neck, kissing his way down to your collarbone, where he lightly nips a mark into your skin. He kisses further, over your clothed breast, swirling his tongue against the pebbling nipple. "All people are gonna see is me fuckin' my girl, just the way she wants it."
You moan softly, rubbing your thighs together at the thought. It's sinful, downright naughty, even. But it gets you... well, hot. Thinking about someone happening to glance in, to see Tyler balls deep inside of you, making you forget your own name.
Fuck, it makes you damn near gush a fucking flood.
Tyler smiles that boyish grin again at your moan. "Such a good girl for me," he coos, as he unzips his jeans, shoving them down his legs along with his boxers. He pumps his hand up and down his shaft once, then twice, gathering the precum slowly forming at the head and stroking it up and down his cock with a stifled sigh. "Fuck, jesus- you want it-"
"Raw," you whisper, leaning back on your desk, legs spread wide for him. "Wanna feel you, Tyler. Need you to cum inside me so fucking bad, baby, I've been aching for it-"
He groans again, stepping between your spread legs and rubbing the head of his cock through your wetness. Both of your breaths catch in your chests, your eyes locking as he finally pushes his cock inside of you.
Your twin moans echo in the small building. Thank god it's your lunch break.
He doesn't start off gentle, like he usually does. No, neither of you have the patience today. The pace is damn near brutal, his hips snapping fiercely against yours, your cunt aching in the most delicious way possible as he fucks you hard and fast.
It's a miracle your desk is still standing, by the time you're done.
\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/
"You alright, cuz?" Tyler grins as he claps Bjorn on the shoulder, collapsing into a seat beside him at the bar.
Bjorn grunts, not quite looking at him as he fidgets with the tab on his can of beer.
Tyler arches a brow. "Fucks sake, must've been a shite day if it's got you all quiet."
Rather the oppsite, Bjorn wants to spit back, Got to hear your girlfriend moaning and begging to get filled with cum, got enough material to fuel a thousand masturbation fantasies and fucking more. Close the blinds next time you fucking exhibitionist.
He of course says none of that.
"Summit like that." Bjorn shrugs instead. "So where's-"
"Hey," you grin, sliding into the seat beside Tyler. Bjorn almost groans.
Of fucking course it was the skirt today. God, he hoped some fucking grunt would come along and fire a pulse rifle into his head.
"Sup?" he greets, barely looking at you.
You're well used to Bjorn's behaviour by now but...
Well, that won't do.
You're in love with Tyler, yeah. Absolutely devoted to him alone, but...
You like the attention that Bjorn desperately tries not to give you. You like the struggle of watching him try not to stare at your ass in a skirt, or your tits in your blouse. You like watching his jaw tick and his knuckles tighten on his glass whenever Tyler gets handsy.
It's thrilling.
It's maddening when his eyes aren't on you.
God forbid he even thinks about looking at another girl.
You shift in your seat, crossing one leg over the other, completely casual.
Your foot stretches out, casually gliding up and doen Bjorn's calf. He tenses, looking at you with confusion, his brow furrowed in thought. Perhaps he thought you'd aimed for Tyler and missed.
You meet his eyes, sliding your foot up his calf, over his knee, up his thigh...
He inhales sharply, taking a sip of beer as he listens to Tyler chat about his work day.
You toy with the zipper of Bjorn's pants. Of course, you can't unzip but...
The feeling of something getting firmer beneath your touch sends a thrill down your spine, makes your pussy pulse with want. Your eyes meet Bjorn's again, and oh fuck, if the sight of the blue of his eyes being taken over by his pupils doesn't make your cunt fucking damn near gush...
You remove your foot, watching Bjorn's fingers tighten on his can, his eyes burning into your face, trailing to your lips, down your neck, your breasts...
His eyes snap up to the mark on your neck, his nostrils flaring as he leans back in his chair, throwing back the rest of his can in one smooth gulp.
"Gonna head," he grunts, grabbing his coat from the back of the chair and holding it on his lap, glancing between the pair of you. "Enjoy yourselves or whateva, alright? Try not to fuck in front of everyone, yeah?"
And he's off, before you or Tyler can even say a word. Tyler watches after his cousin with concern, brow pinched and frown of worry firmly set into his handsome face.
"What's up with him?" He ponders, and you hum, taking your eyes off of Bjorn's backside in order to smile at him.
"No idea."

Strangers On a Train
You meet a stranger on the subway. He offers you a seat.
content: Strangers have sex, cockwarming, public sex, exhibitionism, voyeurism, dirty talk, name calling, no condom, SPOILER: Bjorn x Fem Reader x Tyler
wc: ~4.2k
a/n: I know, I know. I should be working on the series. I’m sorry. Special thanks to @spikedfearn for the extra help. Both her and @caileeflavoured helped with forming some of the ideas and dialogue <3333
MINORS DNI NSFW 18+
With a burst of energy, you push yourself through the heavy doors just before they slam shut. Your chest heaves as you struggle to catch your breath, and your hands smooth down the creases in your skirt.
Taking in your surroundings, you are immediately struck by the overwhelming crowd that fills the space. Bodies press closely together, creating a wall of bustling energy and noise that surrounds you. The air is thick with the scent of perfume and sweat.
You wince, scanning the crowded train in search of a more secluded spot.
Then your eyes land on him - sitting alone on a bench, his head tilted back as if lost in thought. His headphones cover his ears and he's staring at you with tired eyes. You feel a flutter of nerves in your stomach at the feel of his blue eyes on you. As soon as he notices he has your attention, he takes off his headphones and lifts his head, staring directly at you.
His expression is one of curiosity and amusement. He lifts a questioning brow as he tilts his head lazily and widens his legs further, almost invitingly.
Hesitantly, you make your way towards him, heart racing. As you get closer, he sits up straighter, seeming more awake now that you’ve accepted his silent offer. A smirk tugs at the corners of his mouth as he absentmindedly scratches at the scruff on his face.
“Hello princess. Need a seat? Cause ’m happy to offer one.”
You hesitate for a moment, eyeing his lap and your breath catches in your throat. His invitation is clear. His confident demeanor and piercing gaze make your pulse quicken. Without fully processing what you're doing, you find yourself nodding and moving closer.
"I...sure. Thank you," you manage to stammer out.
His smirk widens as he pats his thigh invitingly. "Do no’ be shy love. Make yourself comfortable."
Heart pounding, you gingerly lower yourself onto his lap. You gasp softly as you feel the firm press of his body against yours. His arms encircle your waist, steadying you as the train lurches into motion.
"There now, isn't tha’ better?" he murmurs, his breath hot against your ear.
You nod, not trusting your voice and a shiver runs down your spine at the intimate contact.
The vibrations of the moving train send tingles through your body. You're acutely aware of every point of contact between you - his thighs beneath you, his chest against your back, his arms around your waist, one hand resting on your stomach and the other lightly gripping your thigh.
You can feel the heat of his hand bleed into your core. A slight twitch of his fingers and he would be touching you.
Gulping, you shift slightly and his grip tightens. Your voice is breathy. “You…umm- is your stop far?”
A sudden jolt in the train makes you slide further back into him, and you feel a distinct hardness pressing into you. Heat floods your cheeks, his hand on your thigh trails over your skin. His fingers dance along the hem of your skirt, toying with the fabric.
"No’ for a bit," he whispers, his lips brushing against your ear. "But 'm in no rush. Are you?"
A shiver travels through you and you silently shake your head. You feel him nod against your hair.
His lips leave gentle kisses along your neck, as his fingers teasingly trace the edges of your panties. Your heart races. The train car is still packed with people, but everyone seems lost in their own world.
"Jus’ relax. No one's payin’ us any mind." he soothes, nuzzling into your neck.
As if to prove his point, his other hand drifts lower, slipping beneath the hem of your skirt. Your eyes widen and you grip his arm, but make no move to stop him.
You gently release his arm and he runs a single digit up and down the slick folds of your core. With each jolt and sway of the train, his touch becomes more insistent, his finger brushing against your clit with a delicious friction. You bite down on your lip to stifle the moan that threatens to escape, your hips unconsciously rolling back against him.
He lets out a low, guttural groan in your ear as he moves his hand from your stomach to rest on your hip, guiding your movements with a subtle rock. Your core throbs with an intense ache, yearning for the fullness that only his cock can provide.
Leaning back slightly, you press your lips to his cheek. "I wanna feel you inside of me." Your voice is barely above a breathy whisper, but it's thick with desire and hope. The anticipation coils tightly in your stomach as you wait for his response.
He freezes, voice in strained disbelief. “You wan’ my cock in front of all o’ these people?”
You nod immediately. “Yes. Please?”
As his face presses into the curve of your neck, you can feel his breath hot and shaky against your skin. A tingle runs through you as he inhales deeply, his voice trembling with desire. "You're goin’ to get me into so much trouble, princess," he manages to say before releasing a small chuckle.
He taps your thigh in a silent command, urging you to move. You raise yourself slightly, shifting your weight onto your knees. His fingers brush against you as he fumbles to unbutton his pants.
As he pulls himself out, his body radiates heat that you can feel against your skin. His thumb glides along your back, leaving a trail of goosebumps as it disappears between your bodies.
With a gentle pressure, he moves your panties to the side and teasingly presses the tip of his swollen cock into you. You can feel yourself tensing, but his strong arms wrap around your waist and hold you close.
Your legs tremble uncontrollably as you slowly lower yourself onto him. His cock is thick and perfectly shaped, each curve fitting perfectly within you. The heat from his body transfers to his cock, making it hot and hard as it pulses with his heartbeat.
Hot tears blur your vision as every inch of him fills you. Desperately, you look around for any sort of distraction from the ecstacy of him inside you.
But then, you lock eyes with another stranger - this one dressed in a crisp military uniform. His brown eyes are full of hunger, and it's clear that he has been watching everything unfold. He saw everything and he’s done nothing to stop it.
Your body tenses, and the blue-eyed man inside you can feel it. With a tight grip on your hips, he whispers in your ear, "Relax, love. You’ve gotta at least look like we know each other. Would no’ want anyone thinkin’ that you’re just some whore sittin’ on some stranger’s cock, would yah?”
Your walls tighten at his words because someone does know and he’s watching. Your eyes meet the intense gaze of the man, and you resist the overwhelming urge to spread your legs wider, to show him exactly what you're doing as you take more of this stranger inside of you.
The jostling of the train car becomes even more intense as he settles inside of you. You let out a small whimper, feeling his cock almost vibrate inside of you, sending tingles through your body. His lips press against the crown of your hair, his breath hot against your skin as he murmurs softly. "Shhh, if you move or make a sound, I'll have to fuck you right here in front of everyone. You would no’ want that would yah?" The sweet kiss and affectionate tone he uses juxtaposes his threatening words.
You shake your head quickly, not trusting your voice. The threat (or promise?) sends a thrill through you. Your walls clench involuntarily around him and you hear his sharp intake of breath.
The train lurches around a curve, moving you on his lap. You bite your lip hard, trying to stifle any sounds as the train's movements cause his cock to shift inside you. The friction is exquisite torture. Your walls clench involuntarily around him, drawing out a sharp groan from him.
Brown eyes is still watching intently from across the car. His gaze burns into you, making your skin tingle. You can see the bulge in his uniform pants growing more prominent.
The stranger beneath you doesn’t notice, huskily mumbing into your ear. “I’d think you’d have done this before if you weren’t so fuckin’ tight.”
His hips give a subtle, but powerful grind upwards, driving deeper into your body. Your breath catches in your throat as you let out a quiet cry of pleasure.
His strong hands grip your hips firmly, leaving behind marks that will surely blossom into bruises tomorrow. You can feel every inch of him inside of you, and it's overwhelming in the best possible way.
You're grateful for his firm grasp on your hips, anchoring you to him and preventing you from rising to fuck yourself on his cock. You let out another cry and he hushes you. “Shut up. Would no’ want the anyone askin' their mummies why you’re cryin’, eh?”
Your heart races as you shake your head desperately. You desperately reach for his hand and hold it tightly in your lap, curling your fingers around his. You trace the lines of his tattoos with your fingernails, attempting to rid yourself of the urge to shamefully fuck into him.
The distraction doesn’t work. You can feel yourself clenching with each movement, each dirty word that escaped his lips, each lustful look from the stranger across from you.
You look up to see him still staring at you, a primal hunger in his brown eyes that both thrills and scares you. As he continues to ravish you with his gaze, you gasp softly, completely overwhelmed by the stranger’s intense eyes as you're sat on another stranger’s cock.
Noticing you’re distracted, he nips at your ear. "What's caught your attention, princess?"
"The...the man over there," you gesture with your head.
He follows your line of sight and a low chuckle rumbles in his chest. "Looks like we've got an audience." His hips raise abruptly and he spreads his legs wider. “Why don’t we give ‘im a show?”
His hand tightens its grip on your hip, pulling you closer and grinding you down onto his throbbing cock. His other hand swats away your fingers, as it makes its way beneath your skirt.
You tense, your walls instinctively clenching around his cock, eliciting a groan from him. Panicked whispers escape your lips. "What are you doing?" You hastily try to push down your skirt, wanting to conceal the dangerous game he's playing. But his hand remains there, unyielding and bold.
“Easy, princess.” He shrugs nonchalantly, continuing his exploration with a confident and lewd smirk on his face. “He’s been watchin’ the whole time so ‘m jus’ showin’ ‘im what you look like when you cum. I won’t be able to see your face an’ reckon someone should get to.”
Your breath catches in your throat as his fingers find your clit, circling it with teasing pressure. You struggle to keep your expression neutral as pleasure builds within you. The stranger's hungry gaze burns into you, making you feel completely exposed.
Across the car, brown eyes are locked onto the movement beneath your skirt. His hand twitches at his side, as if fighting the urge to touch himself. You can feel yourself rapidly losing control under his heated stare.
His fingers move faster, hips grinding up into you with subtle movements. You grip his thighs tightly, biting your lip hard to stifle any sounds.
"That's it," he breathes in your ear. "Show him how good you feel. Let him see what a dirty whore you are, cumming on a stranger's cock in public."
Your eyes lock with the stranger's as your orgasm builds. He shifts in his seat, adjusting himself discreetly. The coil of pleasure in your core winds tighter and tighter. Your thighs begin to tremble as you teeter on the edge.
You bite down on your lip as white hot pleasure shoots through you. The stranger beneath you tenses and stops breathing as your walls attempt to milk him. He brings his hand from out beneath your skirt and uses the material to wipe his hand clean.
He presses his face against your neck, his warm breath fanning over your skin. You can feel the wetness seeping into his lap, evidence of the intense release you just experienced. “Fuck, you have no idea how close I was to cummin’ in you. Bet you’d wan’ tha’ though innit?" Walkin’ ‘round with my cum spillin’ out of you.”
Your over sensitive core convulses around him and you can feel yourself quickly approaching another orgasm. Gulping, you try to adjust yourself on his cock. But the sensations of him are overwhelming, making it impossible for you to focus.
“I- I’m gonna cum again,” you manage to slur out, leaning back into him for support.
He chuckles in response, but it’s cut short as the train suddenly lurches around a sharp turn. The tip of his cock rubs against the perfect spot inside of you.
Your eyes roll back in ecstasy as you face the brown eyed stranger. His chest heaves and his hands are clenched over his knees as he watches you.
The intensity of your second orgasm takes you by surprise. Your body trembles, your walls clenching rhythmically around his cock and a soft whimper escapes your lips.
The stranger behind you grunts softly, his fingers digging into your hips as he fights to maintain control. "Fuck, princess," he breathes against your neck. "‘M tryin’ to make this last but you're a slut for my cum, aren't you?"
Across the car, he shifts in his seat, his brown gaze burning with barely contained lust. His hand twitches towards his lap again before he catches himself, clenching his fist at his side instead.
Coming down from your high, the reality of the situation starts to sink in. You're sitting on a stranger's cock while another stranger watches you and is getting off to it.
The train begins to slow as it approaches the next station. Your heart sinks with disappoint and blue eyes tenses beneath you. "I need to get off here," you murmur regretfully.
He hisses beneath you and his voice is rushed. “Fuck. Okay, okay. Jus’…” He pauses, his hard cock throbbing inside of you. ”Wait til everyone gets off.”
You anxiously observe as the train lurches to a halt and the passengers gradually disembark. Struggling to rise on unsteady limbs, you are oblivious to the presence of the other stranger approaching.
Suddenly, he firmly grips your arms, hands engulfing your elbows, and he forces you to stand. Your breathing halts in your chest as the unfamiliar man's brown eyes meet yours, the blue eyed stranger falls out of you with a slick sound.
“Oi!” His voice is a low growl, thick with anger as he shoves his hard cock back into his pants. You can feel him pressing against your back. “Wha’ the fuck, mate?”
The tall stranger turns and steps off the train without a word, leaving you with no choice but to follow. Blue eyes, close behind, looks ready to explode.
As soon as you step off the train, you are engulfed by a sea of people. The rush of bodies and noise makes your head spin. You try to ignore the cold and uncomfortable feeling of your wet panties beneath your skirt.
Your eyes scan the crowded platform, searching for the glowing display sign. But all you see is a sea of strangers, their faces blurred and indistinguishable in the chaos.
When you find it, relief floods through you. Bright letters flash, displaying your destination preceded by the message STOP DELAYED.
Grasping the pretty boy's hand tightly, you weave through the crowd until you find an open space by a pillar. The solid structure provides some sense of security amidst the chaos and you lean against it for support.
You pull him towards you, leaning into him. Your lips brush against his ear as you whisper. "My stop's been delayed." Pulling back, you watch as the initial anger recedes from his eyes and is quickly replaced by an impatient desire.
He presses you against the pillar, his lips hovering just inches from yours. His breath warms your trembling lips. Your heart races as you run your tongue along his bottom lip, silently begging.
Just as he begins to lean in, you’re interrupted by a deep voice, clearing his throat. You both turn and see the man with piercing brown eyes standing there. His gaze shifts between both, his expression unreadable.
Both men shift and you furrow your brows at the silent conversation they seem to be having. Pretty boy’s grip on you tightens as you push him away slightly, taking a step toward tall, dark, and handsome. “You-you were watching.”
He scoffs, his eyes darting around before he leans down, his hand quickly skimming over the sensitive skin between your thighs. A shiver runs down your spine at his touch. You can feel the heat of his breath on your skin as he moves closer, his fingers tracing delicate patterns along your inner thigh. “You weren’t exactly discreet love. You’re not hidin’ nothin’ with cum dripping down your thighs, now are you darling?”
Pretty boy tenses behind you, pulling you closer. "Wha’ d’you want, mate?"
His brown eyes leave a trail of fire as they observe you. “Once you’re done with her, it’s my turn.” With a swift, graceful movement, he turns and positions himself in front of both of you, his broad frame blocking any view from prying eyes.
After a brief pause, pretty boy switches positions with you, leaning against the pillar. Your back is pressed against his chest as you're turned and forced to stare at the sturdy back of the brown eyed stranger. You gasp as hands snake around you to grasp at your body. They move beneath your skirt and brush against your sensitive folds through your panties.
"Think you can take me again?" he murmurs, his voice husky with desire.
You nod eagerly, already aching to feel him inside you. With deft movements, he frees his cock from his pants, fingering your panties to the side and in one smooth thrust, he buries himself into you.
Your hands fly out in front of you to steady yourself and your fingers clench into the thick material of his uniform. Brown eyes tenses as you pull him flush against your front.
You bite down on his arm to muffle your moan as the man behind you starts to move. His strokes are deep and purposeful, each one sending you rocking against the stranger in front of you.
The firm muscles of brown eyes' back provide friction against your sensitive nipples through your thin blouse. You struggle to stay quiet at the delicious friction, occasionally letting out muffled whimpers.
He glances back over his shoulder, his gaze burning with desire as he watches you come undone. "Careful now," he murmurs. "Don't want to draw any more attention."
His words send a thrill through you. You're acutely aware of the crowd milling around you, oblivious to what's happening behind his broad form.
Blue eyes picks up the pace, his hips snapping against yours. One hand grips your hip while the other slides around to rub tight circles on your clit. "Fuck, y’feel so good. Perfect for takin’ cock," he groans into your ear.
“Fuck. ‘M gonna cum, fuckin’ edged myself warmin’ my cock in yah.” The wet sounds of your bodies make are barely masked by the bustling station.
You sob into brown eyes' back, overwhelmed by the intensity of your orgasm. Pretty boy stiffens as he follows behind you, cock pulsing and twitching inside of you. Your legs feel weak and shaky as you come down from your high. Blue eyes holds you steady as he slowly pulls out. You bite your lip to stifle a whimper at the loss.
Brown eyes turns slightly, his eyes dark with desire as he takes in your disheveled appearance. "My turn," he growls softly.
Before you can fully process what's happening, brown eyes is maneuvering you around. He presses your back against the pillar, your head resting against the cool concrete. Blue eyes moves to stand guard, blocking you from view.
You hear the sound of a zipper and then feel the blunt head of brown eyes' cock pressing against your entrance. He slides in easily, with no resistance.
You gasp as he enters you in a deep thrust. He feels different from the blue eyed stranger - thicker, stretching you even more. Your oversensitive walls clench around him, drawing a low groan from his throat.
"Fuck, you're tight," he mutters, his breath hot against your ear.
His hips begin to move, slow at first but quickly building to a punishing pace. You cling to his broad shoulders, struggling to stay quiet as he pounds into your raw pussy.
Blue eyes watches intently, his eyes dark with renewed arousal. He leans in close, whispering filthy encouragements. "That's it, take his cock like the good girl you are. Let him use that pretty pussy."
Brown eyes growls in approval, the noise rumbling deep in his throat. His large hand grips the surface of the pillar tightly as he clenches his teeth, speaking through them, “Teased me the whole ride. Looking at me as you came. As you took his cock.”
Pretty boy's blue eyes flash with amusement before he quickly turns back to his original position, trying to hide the smirk that plays on his lips. “Made for takin’ strangers’ cocks, in’t she?”
You can only whimper in response. The tall stranger's thick cock stretches you, hitting spots deep inside that make your toes curl. The lingering sensitivity from your previous orgasms heightens every thrust, every brush of skin against skin.
Blue eyes leans in close again, his lips brushing your ear. "Look at you, takin' two strangers so well. Such a greedy little thing.” He gives your ear a small nibble. “Wha’? My cum no’ enough an’ you needed more?" His words send a shiver down your spine, your walls clenching involuntarily.
Brown eyes grunts at the added tightness, his hips snapping against yours with increased fervor. "Fuck, gonna make me cum if you keep that up," he growls.
The coil of pleasure in your core winds tighter with each thrust. Your walls flutter around him, another orgasm building quickly.
"Fuck, you're close again aren't you?" he grunts, his hips snapping against yours. "He’s right. You’re fucking greedy."
You nod frantically, beyond word. Your fingers dig into his shoulders as you teeter on the edge.
The stranger with blue eyes neglects his position in favor of whispering in your ear. "Come on, princess. Cum for him. Show him how good you feel. How tight you get when that pretty pussy milks cock for every drop it's worth."
His words push you over the edge. Your body goes rigid as waves of pleasure crash over you. You muffle your cries on brown eyes' shoulder.
Brown eyes' rhythm falters. With a final deep thrust, he buries himself to the hilt inside you, his cock pulsing as he adds his cum to the mix already inside you.
You moan into him, as the sensation of being filled again surrounds you.
Your body trembles with aftershocks as brown eyes stills, his forehead resting against yours as you both struggle to catch your breath. The bustling sounds of the station slowly filter back into your ears, reminding you of where you are.
Blue eyes clears his throat softly. "Tha’ was hot an’ all but I reckon we should move before someone notices."
Brown eyes nods and steps back, carefully pulling out of you. As he does, you feel a trickle of cum start to slide down your inner thigh. You whimper softly at the loss, your legs shaky as you try to stand on your own. Both men steady you, their hands gentle on your waist and arms.
Blue eyes smirks. "Look at you, dripping with our cum." Your cheeks flush with a mix of embarrassment and arousal.
With a quick look around to ensure no one was watching, his deep brown eyes narrow as he crouches down. Roughly pulling your panties down your legs, he clutches the material tightly in his fist and uses it to wipe between your thighs. He tucks your panties in his pocket with a small smirk.
Blue eyes narrow but the pretty stranger says nothing.
Inhaling a shaky breath, you move to speak, but the noise of a train screeching to a stop interrupts you. Both of their heads turn up at the noise.
Shrugging, blue eyes grins at you. “Well ‘spose I should thank you for gettin me off, but tha’s my train.” Shocked, you say nothing and watch as he waves a lazy hand and pulls his headphones back on.
Your attention is drawn to brown eyes and guilt flashes in his eyes for a brief moment before he stands back. “It’s mine too an’ I need to be off… I- Thank you,” he stutters out slightly, almost shyly. A complete juxtaposition of his earlier behavior. With an awkward wave he leaves.
Gulping, you glance around the emptying platform. Alone. Disheveled and trembling with wrinkled clothes, no panties and two strangers' cum dripping out of you.

Tyler x Fem!Reader
comfort/getting together
word count: 917
I'm currently in love with archie renaux/tyler so ^^
────୨ৎ────
Everyone knows she likes him. Calculated words, a completely withdrawn and shy personality. And the eyes. Oh, the eyes never lie.
Yn can never hide when she likes someone. It's not that often. Her heart is too closed off to have so many people in it, but when someone catches her attention she can't help herself. She loves completely and fearlessly, she doesn't have to be reciprocated, she just needs to feel.
That's why she's happy with what she's felt for Tyler for several months now. They're not very close, and even when opportunities come along, she always misses them. Just thinking about being alone with him makes her nervous.
God, Yn, when will you learn?
So yeah. Everyone knows. Him included. But he's never said anything other than laugh at a few comments others have made. He never denies it, and he never defends himself. Tyler is nice, he would never embarrass Yn by exposing her very real feelings for him.
But Bjorn would.
Yn only half liked him, he was a tease, and rude.
But he was there in her social circle so what else could she do other than tolerate his jokes and laugh awkwardly when they were directed at her.
All of that led to the situation that was happening. It was late, the others drinking and Yn nodding off from sleep when Bjorn started with his comments.
'Yn is probably dreaming about Tyler' a normal joke, funny, but the boy had drunk whiskey that Navarro had changed with much effort, and his words became a little crueler. 'You do know that he likes Rain, right?' Everyone interrupted then, Kay, Navarro, Tyler, but Bjorn was not done with his stupid opinions.
'No matter how much you want to fuck him, he won't do you the favor.'
The poor girl was too sensitive to hear that, and she didn't like being seen crying.
Standing up and walking inside is pretty much everything she could do. She didn't live with them, but Kay was always willing to lend her her bed. Or anything really.
She's about to sit in it when a figure comes to view. It's Tyler, of course it is.
"Are you okay?" He asks, soft features, softer eyes.
Yn only looks at him. She is fine, just a little sad because Bjorn is right, even if he's drunk and saying nonsense. Tyler has never rejected her, mainly because she's never worded out her feelings out loud. But they're implied. In everything she does, in every little interaction she has with him.
"I'm sorry he said that. He doesn't know what he's talking about."
"Tyler, what do you want?" It's a loaded question to her. Why are you here, because you feel bad for me? Do you want to repeat what he said but in a pretty voice and layers of cotton?
Tyler glances at her, and he takes a few steps, allowing himself to sit at her side.
And he's so close, and so so handsome. So much so Yn aches for him.
He looks down at his shoes, plays with his fingers, seems undecided about what to say. He doesn't have to, really, Yn doesn't need an explanation from him. But Tyler isn't like that, he always wants to please, he always wants everything to flow correctly, without problems, without stumbling blocks. There's nothing Tyler can't solve successfully and without affecting others. How will he fix this? Reject a person close to the group without them walking away. Yn wouldn't do that, she knows a tantrum isn't worth it, she would never be in this situation on her own. Thanks Bjorn.
"I... I don't like Rain, anymore." He starts.
It's fine. It was the public humiliation that made me cry.
"I don't want you to think I like someone else, or that what Bjorn said is true." He sounds nervous, unsure. "I know you don't want to fuck me right away. I know you're sincere."
This might be worse than before. Who the fuck says those kind of things, seriously. But Yn doesn't say anything, voice shut down while listening to whatever Tyler wants to communicate. Yn won't interrupt, if he wants it to be a quiet let down she'll let it be.
"I am okay with you liking me, Yn. " Mellow, warm skin touching hers. "I don't mind, that's why I never say anything."
She looks at him. He's flushed and avoiding eye contact. Pretty.
"I'm happy that you like me." A confession. "You're everything good and nice there is in the colony.
"What does it mean?
"You're so unassuming, Yn. That's why I started to feel that way, but I couldn't just tell you." He's smiling a little, hands finding their way to hold Yn's. "You make me nervous. I'm sorry it took this long."
It's all implied. In the same way she does it. A series of incoherent words, out of context that wouldn't make sense if it weren't for this moment in which they're spoken, awkward and heavy, a volatile feeling in the air. They both like each other. Maybe more than that, but admitting it is something that Yn's heart can't process. Something that makes Tyler vulnerable.
Yet Yn wants to hear it, and wants to know for sure too.
"What does that mean?"
Tyler doesn't say anything for a few seconds, a grimace as he thinks about how to answer.
"I like you, Yn." For how you are with me. For how long you waited.

"Hey! Hey, are you okay?" Rain's worried voice somehow managed to reach your ears despite the intense ringing. You squeezed your eyes shut and opened them but the blurriness took some time to disappear.
You found yourself clutching at the person next to you, who turned out to be the forearm of your boyfriend—Tyler.
Tyler's hands hugged your sides, his soft movements brought you comfort despite his trembling hands.
He kept mumbling a string of “It’s alright” and “We're okay now”
You knew you had escaped, that the door was locked, and all of those creatures had no way in, but your heart still raced like crazy in your chest.
You could still hear Tyler's shouts when one of those monsters lunged at you, it's little legs clutching the sides of your face. If it wasn't for Rain, who grabbed the tail of the creature and threw it away with a scream.
As the adrenaline slowly wore off, you felt a stinging pain spread around your left thigh, a groan leaving your lips at the sudden feeling. You grasped your leg, frantically lifting your jeans.
“F—Fuck.” You mumbled breathlessly when you saw the blood gushing out of the cut, just above your knee. You must've cut yourself while running for your life like a madwoman.
“Andy! Andy, what can we do?” Rain's voice caught the synthetic’s attention.
“We must apply pressure and find something to clean and disinfect the wound.” He spoke, his calm voice coming to contrast with the situation.
Tyler's fingers slid down to your back, gently rubbing it as Rain stood up to look for things that might be useful.
When you followed Rain with your eyes you noticed the blinding white walls of the room and the multiple desks that were organized in squares.
“Hey, hey.” Tyler's soft tone brought you back to reality and you turned your attention to his worried face. The boy wiped your forehead and pushed back the loose strands of hair that clung to it, fingers trembling slightly “You're goin’ to be okay, yeh?”
He waited for you to nod to continue. “We have Andy here, he knows what to do.” The softness in his voice significantly changed when his attention moved to the android. “She's going to be alright, yeh?”
Andy took a moment to answer. “Yes. If we clean the wound thoroughly then Y/n will be able to recover relatively soon.”
A small “see” accompanied Tyler's smile when he turned back to you.
Rain finally sat next to you, dropping the first aid kit on the floor with a loud sound. She pushed her hair behind her ears and opened the little red box, quickly taking out bandages and cotton balls. She wet a cotton ball with alcohol and passed it to Tyler before unrolling the bandages.
You were too busy trying to ignore the pain to realize what was happening until Tyler held your shoulder tighter, putting all of your weight on his side.
“Goin’ to hurt a bit, love.” He mumbled against your forehead.
A loud cry escaped past your lips when the soft material made contact with the cut. You felt Tyler's hand hold you closer and Rain's hands push you back by the shoulders when you tried to pull away.
“It’s okay, ‘t’s okay” Tyler murmured against your earlobe.
The boy quickly removed the material, his breath rigid as he held your shaking figure in his arms.
Rain took advantage of your seemingly disoriented state and quickly wrapped a bandage around your thigh.
Your quiet sobs echoed in the spacious room as Tyler held you close to his chest while spewing out soft, encouraging words.
“She should rest and the bandages should be frequently changed but—” Andy spoke after all of you had fallen quiet, pausing momentarily to gather the right words. “We cannot wait.”
You snapped your eyes to the android, breath hitching at the implication.
“What?—No—No, Andy we're not leavin’ Y/n behind,” Tyler warned, holding you tighter.
“Tyler’s right, we aren’t leaving her” Rain agreed, walking closer to her brother and holding his forearms. Maybe she hoped that she could somehow channel the old, sweet Andy.
“Those creatures aren't going to wait—” Andy began but Tyler didn't let him finish.
He hooked his hands under your knees and back and lifted you with him as he stood up. The boy paced forward, getting intimidatingly close to the android “I don't give a flying fuck! I won't leave her behind.” He spat out.
“Tyler, I'm okay, I can conti—” You attempted to defuse the situation but he dismissed your words with a shake of his head.
Rain tried to hold onto his bicep but he ignored her and walked towards the closest door to you. It was, as expected, closed. Tyler groaned and kicked the metal door, shaking you a bit in the process and making you hiss in pain.
After Rain's silent pleas, Andy ended up giving in and opening the door. Tyler stepped in as soon as there was an opening, not even waiting for the door to fully slide open.
The room was way bigger than it looked, like another fucked up lab, similar to the rest of this section. There were multiple doors leading to other smaller rooms.
The boy checked the rooms, holding you close to him until he found one with what looked like a hospital room. This must’ve been the recovery room from whatever experiments they were doing.
Carefully, he lowered you into the hard mattress with a “There we go.” You took a sharp breath when you tried to straighten your back.
“Hey, lie down.” He told you and gently pushed you down against the mattress.
“I don't want to lie down.” You replied through gritted teeth. “I want to get out of this place.”
“We will. Once you're better.” He reassured. His calloused hand reached your warm cheek.
The more time you rested the more the pain was slowly dying down and you could finally notice your boyfriend's worried features more clearly.
His big eyes stared right back at yours, all wet and worried. He rubbed your calf, trying to soothe you as much as he could.
The sight of him was enough to make you tear up. You really could've died and never see him again.
A quiet sob left your chest as you pulled him closer, ignoring the sudden pain in your thigh. You hugged his shoulders, holding him close to your chest. His arms immediately hugged your waist, holding you tightly as if you were going to turn into dust and disappear if he let go.
You refused to pull away for a long while especially when he slid his cold hands under your shirt, his fingertips squeezing your warm and sweat-covered flesh.
“If it wasn't for Rain—” He began and sighed deeply, unable to even imagine what would happen if your friend wasn't quick enough. “I should've been next to you! I—”
Hearing him talk like that about himself was excruciating and you had to bite your lip to stop your tears from spilling.
You could've told him dozens of different things to disagree with, just like you always did when he was doubting himself. But this time you didn't have the strength to argue.
So instead, you cupped his face and pulled him away from your chest. He looked at you confused before you pulled him closer, connecting your lips.
He hugged you tighter and sighed into the kiss when you buried your fingers in his hair.
Quickly the desperation and need overtook both of your senses and what started off as a gentle kiss deteriorated into something else. Something messy and urgent.
Tyler's hands roamed all over the delicate skin of your back. A surprised moan escaped you when he leaned closer, pushing you even further into the mattress, not giving you any time to breathe.
But you didn't want to breathe. You wanted his lips, his hands.
You need him to extinguish the fire that felt like it burning you alive.
Your hand moved from his messy hair down to his neck and body, lightly scraping your nails against him until your palm rested on his crotch.
The space between your brows creased a bit when Tyler hesitantly pulled away.
“What happe—” Your question was cut off by the boy's breathless reply.
“Love, we can't. I want to, I really do—you know that—but you're hurt”
Your other hand rubbed his cheek as you spoke “We're stuck here and we don’t if we'll even get out alive.” You began and you could already see the conversation was making him uneasy. “If something happens.” He was about to object but you didn't give him the opportunity. “I want to spend these last moments with you, Ty.”
Tyler's gaze was melancholic before he connected your lips in a soft kiss once again. “Don’ say that, Y/n” His tone made it sound like he barely believed his own words.
“Or maybe I just want to get in your pants, who knows?” You joked and the boy had a hard time keeping his disapproving front, a small smile threatening to appear on his lips.
You pulled him back to your lips and this time you didn't sense the same hesitation from the boy, just caution.
His lips moved slowly against yours to savor the moment, like he was trying to remember your taste.
He rose from his seat next to you but you didn't have to chase after him since he crouched, refusing to separate from your lips.
The boy leaned forward, bringing his hands to either side of your head. His hands slid down to your sides, grabbing your waist.
You let out a small gasp when his hand instinctively wandered lower to your thighs.
“Sorry, sorry!” Tyler apologized and pulled away.
“It's fine.” You quickly reassured him when you saw how quick worry appeared in his eyes.
You didn't give him time to worry more over that little mishap, quickly pulling him back to your craving lips and that seemed to work because the boy immediately reciprocated.
His hands carefully lifted your shirt and slid lower, fingertips gliding along the flesh of your stomach.
The carefulness and attentiveness of his movements made your cheeks burn even more. Tyler was always like this and it never failed to make your heart flutter. No matter how mad or pent up he was there was always an underlined gentleness to his movements even if he was going faster or rougher than usual. It was things like this that made you feel lucky to have him.
You couldn't help but bite your lip when he left a path of quick kisses from your ribcage to your lower abdomen.
He pulled himself up, bringing his face close to yours once again. He hooked his finger on the waistband of your pants before his eyes met yours momentarily—as a silent question for permission.
You quickly nodded, giving him a string of encouraging pecks on the lips in anticipation.
Your breath got caught in your throat when his hand slid under your underwear.
You aren't sure if it was the adrenaline or the intense need you felt—maybe it was both— but you didn't care one bit about your injured leg. The pain and fear were long forgotten, replaced with lust and desire.
Your bruised lips parted in a soft gasp when you felt his rough finger gently enter your tight folds. The soft motions of his finger send a wave of relief and pleasure through your body. His other hand came to rest on the side of your head, brushing some strands of your hair behind your ear.
He pushed another finger in, his thumb gently circling your swollen clit. His eyes never left yours even when yours closed shut as you threw your head back with a moan.
“Fuck I love you so much,” Tyler murmured, lips trailing down to your neck.
The small room was filled with the wet sounds that followed every time he thrust his fingers in and out of your inviting core combined with the sounds of lips leaving open-mouthed kisses on your flushed neck and collarbone and the soft moan you let out every time he curled his finger inside you. Tyler pulled down the collar of your shirt, continuing to plant kisses lower.
When you felt his mouth harshly suck on your sensitive skin you knew you couldn’t take it anymore.
“Ah, Ty…” You gasped, finally opening your eyes.
The boy reluctantly pulled away from you, his eyes meeting yours as his chest rose and fell, mirroring your own breathless state.
The sheer amount of need in his eyes forced a whimper out of you. You ran your hand over his messy hair as you pleaded “I want you.”
His breath was ragged as he gazed down at you and you swore you felt him twitch against his pants when you said that. “I’ll give you anythin’ you want, my love.” He grunted, quickly pulling you closer to him for a hungry kiss.
You whined against his tongue when his fingers abandoned your gushing insides and instead reached for his belt, quickly undoing the buckle and lowering his pants just below his hips.
“Ty, please…” You didn’t need to beg, you knew Tyler would give you anything you wanted and all you had to do was ask yet the small whimpers and pleas always left your lips at times like this. The way you batted your eyelashes, his name rolling out of your tongue like a prayer always made Tyler lightheaded.
Damn, he would really give you anything you’d ask for.
He grabbed your leg, effortlessly arranging you to lie on your side in hopes that this position wouldn’t hurt your leg too much. You winced when the flesh of your right leg came in contact with the cut on your left hip but you pushed it away.
“Ah fuck, Tyler…” You moaned breathlessly, your back arching when he hastily pushed himself deep inside you, seemingly as desperate as you to be squeezed by your walls.
“Shh…” He cooed, resting his forehead against the side of your head.
“Ah—Ty!”
You really tried to be quiet, really. But how could you do was moan as his cock hit your velvety insides so blissfully?
Tyler’s whispers didn’t help you be any quieter, his lips brushing against your ear as he told you how good you were doing, how good you felt, and how he could stay like this forever.
His own quiet moans and groans mixed with yours, filling the room as he moved his hips quickly. You scrambled to find his hand that was resting on your hair and you held it tightly, intertwining your fingers together.
The pleasure was now becoming unbearable the harsher his movements got earning surprised “ah ah ah”s from you after every deep thrust. Suddenly, you were very grateful that you locked yourself in the lab's farthest room.
“My perfect girl.” He whispered making your toes curl in your shoes.
You felt him repeatedly hit that familiar spongy over and over again combined with his thumb cycling your clit so good send you over the edge with a silent moan, jaw hanging open as you felt your release wash over you.
You knew Tyler wasn’t too far either by the way his short nails dug deep into the flesh of your waist, holding you down as he fucked you through your orgasm, desperately chasing after his own.
Tyler gently wiped the drool off the side of your lips, hips stuttering against you, losing that steady rhythm he set and becoming increasingly clumsy before he attempted to pull away.
“No, Ty” You squeezed his hand in yours. You attempted to keep your voice from breaking and continued, the overstimulation was making you dizzy “I want you to finish inside me.”
His eyes widened at that. Never before have you asked him of such a thing. Both of you knew you preferred for him to wear a condom rather than get stuck in an uncompromising situation yet you could feel him twitch inside you.
The thought of your possible doom in this awful place by whatever those creatures were, made you want—No, Need to feel him as close as humanly possible.
“Are you sure, my love?” His tone was gentle when he asked you, completely opposing his gravelly voice and the way he squeezed your waist.
“Please, babe.” You begged.
You cried out when you felt him move again. Tyler leaned closer, locking lips with you in a deep kiss. You rolled your tongue around his, moans escaping your lips every time his cock drilled into your sweet spot.
“Fuck—Fuck you feel so good…Lettin’ me fill ya full—” He groaned against your ear and with one last push you felt him spill deep inside of you, painting your velvety walls white.
“Tyler!” You moaned as he pushed deeper once, twice and then he stilled against you.
For a while, all you could hear in the room was panting before you spoke “I love you”
“I love you.” He didn’t miss a beat to reply, leaving a small peck on your forehead. “I’m not going to let anything bad happen to you.”

Morning After Alien Romulus
wc: 4k a/n: Song Inspiration: Morning After by DVSN; recommend you listen while reading!!
Traveler M.List
ˏ⸉ˋ‿̩͙‿̩̩̥͙̽‿̩͙ˏ⸉ˋ‿̩͙‿̩̩̥͙̽‿̩͙ˏ⸉ˋ‿̩͙‿̩̩̥͙̽‿̩͙.·͙*̩̩͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩̥͙ ✩ *̩̩̥͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩͙‧͙ .‿̩̥̩‿̩̩̥͙̽‿̩͙ˊ⸊ˎ‿̩̥̩‿̩̩̥͙̽‿̩͙ˊ⸊ˎ‿̩̥̩‿̩̩̥͙̽‿̩͙ˊ⸊ˎ
It all began with a call that changed everything.
You were still relatively new to your position at Jackson's Star when you first met him.
Just 19—still figuring out the ropes of task assignments and managing shift schedules; and yet there you were: delivering the worst news someone could receive.
He was 20 when he walked into the room—scruffy eyes heavy from exhaustion, but had a quiet determined strength to him.
His mother had been overseeing a section of the mines when part of it collapsed during a solo manual checkup.
Only one casualty, but that didn’t soften the blow. Protocol dictated that a family member was called to meetings like this.
His father and sister was bedridden, recovering from whatever sickness had been going around.
That left him to face the news alone.
You sat across from him in the dimly lit room, unsure how to begin. His name stood out on the data tablet you clutched too tightly in your hands: Tyler Harrison.
You watched as he sat, hands folded in his lap, waiting for you to speak.
But how could you? Words felt too small, too fragile for the weight of the situation.
"There was an accident," you finally managed to say, your voice barely above a whisper. "The section your mother was overseeing in… it collapsed during her check. There weren’t any other casualties but…"
The rest of your words had faded into the air as Tyler he stared at you. His expression didn’t change immediately.
It was as if the words didn’t land, as if some part of him was still waiting for you to take it back and say something different.
When he did react it was with the smallest nod, his jaw tightening as he processed the reality.
No tears. No outward display of grief. Just a quiet acceptance that made your chest ache for him.
For a while neither of you spoke. You felt completely out of your depth, helpless in the face of such loss.
What were you supposed to say to make this better? Could you even?
Instead you had offered him the standard protocol—paperwork, procedures, grief counseling if he wanted it.
He refused the offer with a shake of his head. "It’s...just no life here isn’t it?" you could hear the pain he was trying so hard to keep inside.
"...I'm sorry," you whispered, meaning it in ways that went beyond just doing your job.
He said nothing. Just simply got up and left.
After that day you couldn’t stop thinking about him. Maybe it was because you understood loss, having losing your parents when you were seventeen.
Maybe it was because Tyler reminded you of yourself—alone, trying to carry a weight too heavy for one person.
Or maybe, somewhere in the quiet spaces between your brief meeting, you began to notice how his presence stirred something inside you.
You reached out to him in the days that followed.
At first it was professional; checking in to make sure he was managing with the loss. But those conversations quickly became more.
Tyler had a way of looking at you, of really seeing you, that made it impossible not to want to be around him.
He wasn’t just some grieving son; he was kind, resilient—strong in ways you didn’t expect.
Weeks passed and with each interaction the distance between you shrank.
Sometimes you'd find yourselves talking after work, just the two of you walking through the dimly lit corridors of the colony, shoulders brushing every now and then.
It felt easy with him.
He made you laugh in those rare moments when you’d let yourself forget where you were or what life had taken from you both.
Yeah you found him attractive, but it was more than that. Tyler had a quiet charm, a steadiness that drew you in.
He didn’t wear his emotions on his sleeve, but when he smiled—really smiled—it was like the room brightened a little.
And as the weeks turned into months you realized your feelings for him weren’t just out of sympathy. They had grown into something real.
It wasn’t long before he felt the same.
One night, after a particularly long shift, you sat together in one of the colony’s communal areas sharing stories of the people you once were before the weight of loss settled into your lives.
He listened with a soft gaze as you spoke, and when it was his turn he opened up in a way that surprised you.
"I’ve never been good at this," he admitted as his fingers absently traced the rim of his cup. "Talking I mean. About things that matter. But you...you make it easy."
You smiled at that, feeling the warmth of his words settle into your chest. "You make it easy too."
The silence that followed wasn’t awkward. It was comfortable. A natural pause that led to Tyler reaching for your hand across the table.
His fingers slid across your palm warm and tentative, as if he was waiting for you to pull away.
You didn’t. You never would.
From then on your relationship with Tyler changed.
You found yourselves seeking each other out more—lingering together in the hidden corners of the colony where you could talk, kiss, and be.
It wasn’t long before you officially started dating, falling into a routine of stolen moments amidst the shift changes and other responsibilities.
Tyler became your constant—a presence you leaned on, someone you could be vulnerable with.
It wasn’t just about comforting each other anymore.
You had both found something more even in the middle of all that darkness.
It was love.
════════════════*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*═════════════════
Your mind often lingered on those early days with Tyler.
The bond you’d built felt so natural, so inevitable—two people finding each other in the chaos of life on Jackson's Star.
But as the memories swirled, reality crept back in, pulling you from the haze of nostalgia.
A faint headache throbbed at your temples, the familiar sensation of fatigue weighing you down.
"Still not feeling well huh?"
You blinked, startled by the familiar voice breaking through the quiet.
Looking up you saw your supervisor Mary-Anne standing at your desk, her brows knitted in concern.
The older woman had been watching over you since you first started working here—almost like a mother figure always checking in and making sure you weren’t overworking yourself.
You offered her a weak smile and brush it off with a shrug. "It’s nothing. You know I always get sick this time of year. I’ll be fine."
Mary-Anne didn’t seem convinced. She crossed her arms, her gaze narrowing slightly as she studied you.
"It’s been nearly a month now," she pointed out with a gentle firm voice. "And you’re looking worse, not better."
You opened your mouth to protest to offer another excuse, but the words faltered under her knowing gaze.
She wasn’t buying it. And truth be told neither were you.
The exhaustion, lightheadedness, the constant dull headache—they hadn’t gone away.
They lingered, gnawing at you day after day, but you didn’t have the luxury of slowing down.
Not with everything going on. Not with your brother to look after.
"Look," she softened her tone as she uncrossed her arms, "at least think about going to the colony infirmary. Have them run a few tests, maybe even take a few days off. You’re no good to anyone if you push yourself too hard."
You let out a sigh knowing she wouldn’t let this go until you agreed. "Yeah...okay. M-maybe you’re right. I’ll think about it."
Mary-Anne gives you a pointed look. "Matter of fact you should take the rest of the shift off. Start your break early. I’ll handle everything."
A teasing grin tugged at your lips. "You’ve got to stop babying me Mary-Anne. I’ve been working here for what, four years years now?"
Her eyes twinkled with a hint of playfulness despite the undercurrent of concern. "Four years or not, I’m still your supervisor. Now do you want to go home or do you want me to keep you here until you drop?"
You couldn’t help but laugh. "Okay okay. I’ll go."
"Good." As you stood from your desk gathering a few things, Mary-Anne gave you a fond but stern look. "And make sure to actually rest this time."
With a playful salute you waved her off, murmuring quick goodbyes to the few coworkers still nearby.
Stepping out into the corridor, the cool air of the colony brush against your skin.
Even when the low hum of the machinery and distant echoes of workers filled the background, your mind was elsewhere, drifting into the memories that tugged at your heart with every step you took.
Tyler.
It had been a little over a year since you two had broken up, but the weight of it still lingered like a bruise that refused to fade.
You hadn’t meant for things to end the way they did.
In fact when you’d first met you never imagined you’d get to a point where you couldn’t even look at each other.
But life on Jackson’s Star had a way of weighing people down until there was no energy left to give.
Your thoughts circled back to February of 2141—the month everything fell apart. You had recently turned 22, Tyler nearing his 23rd birthday.
For two years you’d been together, navigating the colony’s harsh environment as best you could. But it was never easy.
How could it be with the constant grind, the pressure of survival, and the burden of responsibility weighing on both of your shoulders?
Tyler had been slowly drowning under the weight of his family’s expectations.
His father grew weaker by the day, forcing him to step up as the head of the house to care for both himself and his younger sister Kay.
And you? You had your own responsibilities.
Your younger brother, who was just 16 at the time, depended on you since the day you’d both lost your parents.
You were only 17 when it happened after all. Having been placed into the role of caretaker at such a young age forced you to grow up faster than you wanted to.
It wasn’t anyone’s fault, not really.
The stress, the exhaustion—it chipped away at your relationship bit by bit.
Neither of you had the time, energy, or the space to take care of each other the way you used to.
Tyler had been overwhelmed with his responsibilities at home and you had been too wrapped up in your own struggles.
Somewhere along the way you both drifted apart, like two ships in a dark endless sea.
You still loved Tyler—of course you did. But love didn’t change the fact that Jackson’s Star was slowly tearing you apart.
You could still remember the night you broke up.
It wasn’t a decision you’d made lightly, but at the time it felt like the only way to survive.
You couldn’t keep pretending that everything was fine when deep down you both knew this was coming for a long time.
And so, you called it off.
Tyler had been quiet. He didn’t argue. He just simply nodded, eyes dull.
After that there had been silence. Weeks passed without a word between you two. That was until...
Your steps slowed, breath catching as the memory washed over you.
Two months after the breakup Tyler had shown up at your doorstep in the middle of the night.
You’d been surprised, standing there in the doorway staring at him.
He looked different—older, more broken than before. He barely managed to speak before the words tumbled out.
His father died.
You’d let him in without a second thought. He was shaking, barely holding it together as you led him inside.
That night you didn’t need words. He didn’t need to explain anything. He simply fell into your arms and you held him close, comforting him the way you used to.
The pain, the grief, the love you still held for each other—it all blurred together.
It was so easy to fall back into the intimacy you’d shared. Before you knew it you were kissing, the heat of it familiar, pulling you both under.
Didn’t take long before you ended up in bed tangled in each other, the lines between comfort and passion mixing until they were one of the same.
But the morning after reality settled back in. You didn’t speak of it. He left your apartment quietly and you let him go.
No words were exchanged, no promises made. You hadn’t spoken since.
And now as you walked through the dim corridors of the colony, the weight of that night pressed on you.
Three months. Three months since you’d seen Tyler and part of you wondered if you ever would again.
The guilt gnawed at you—had you made the right choice? Should you have fought harder for him and the relationship you’d built together?
Or had you both done the best you could in a place that seemed designed to break you?
Your heart ached at the thought. There were no easy answers nor clean resolutions.
Turning the corner toward your living quarters you froze.
Standing outside your door, looking as nervous as you’d ever seen him, was Tyler.
Your breath caught in your throat.
The world around you faded—the hum of the colony, the distant chatter of workers—leaving only the sight of him standing there.
His hair was a little longer and there was a weariness in his posture that hadn’t been there before. But he was still the same Tyler you’d fallen for all those years ago.
When he saw you his eyes softened.
"Hey," his voice was barely audible over the hum of the corridor.
"Tyler..." You try to keep the surprise from your voice but it was there and you both knew it.
The air between you was thick with everything left unsaid. You weren’t sure what to expect.
Was he here to talk about that night? To explain why he’d disappeared afterward?
You swallow down the flood of emotions rising up and force yourself to stay calm. "What are you doing here?"
He scratched the back of his neck, eyes darting around before finally settling on you again.
"Can we talk?" He sounded unsure like he half-expected you to say no. "I uh...I didn’t mean to just show up like this."
Not trusting your voice you simply nod. Stepping past him to unlock the door, it slides open with a soft hiss before you enter.
Tyler follow behind all the way to your bedroom, his presence filling the small space with an odd tension.
“I just need to check on my brother,” you muttered. You needed a second to breathe, to collect yourself.
He watch as you disappear down the narrow hallway.
The familiar hum of the colony’s systems thrummed beneath your feet as you knocked lightly on your brother’s door.
“Everything good?” you asked softly when he opened it. He nod, already dressed in his uniform ready for his shift.
“Yeah just heading out now,” he offer you a small smile. Giving you a farewell kiss on the cheek, he brushes past you and make his way out the house.
You let out a breath you didn’t realize you’d been holding and make your way back to your bedroom.
When you returned Tyler was looking at pictures taped on the wall.
He looked up as you re-entered, and the two of you just stared at each other, neither of you knowing how to begin.
"I...I know it’s been a while and I...I'm sorry. I’m sorry I disappeared after that...night. I should have reached out I know that. I just—” He paused, searching for the right words, his eyes flicking to yours. “I didn’t know what to say.”
The rawness in his voice cuts you deep. You hadn’t expected an apology, not like this.
For months you had told yourself it was just the way things had to be; two people who couldn’t make it work even though they tried.
But hearing the regret in his voice made it all feel real again, like a wound being reopened.
"It's fine. Plus it's partially my fault," you admit quietly. "I shouldn't have assumed that night would...I don’t know fix things?" Your eyes lower as you avoid his gaze. "But then you left and I realized how foolish it was."
Tyler fiercely shook his head. "No. No it's not fine. I never should have left. Not like that."
He took a breath to steady himself before continuing, his words coming faster as if he was afraid he might lose the nerve if he didn’t say it all at once. "I was a coward. I should have told you then but I couldn’t. I couldn’t admit that I never stopped loving you."
Your heart stuttered in your chest. The weight of his words hit you harder than you expected, and suddenly it felt like all the air had been sucked out of the room.
Tyler’s eyes were searching yours now, desperate—almost pleading.
“I was an idiot for letting you go. I thought I was doing the right thing but all I did was make everything worse. It’s been hell without you and I didn’t realize how much I needed you until it was too late. I just—” His voice cracked slightly as he ran a hand through his hair in frustration. “I don’t know how to fix this, but I need you to know that I love you; always have and always will..”
Your breath hitched. You didn’t realize you were crying until you felt the tear slide down your face.
Everything you buried—the emotions you had pushed down after your breakup, rose to the surface.
Without thinking you closed the distance. Your hands reached for him before you could stop yourself and pulled him into a kiss.
The kiss was hungry, desperate as if the months of silence had all been leading up to this.
His lips crashed into yours with the same intensity and you could feel the pent-up emotion behind every movement.
It wasn’t soft or gentle; it was years of love, loss, and longing that you couldn’t put into words.
Tyler’s hands found your waist, pulling you closer as you tangled your fingers in his hair.
You kissed him harder, trying to pour every unspoken feeling into that moment, your breaths mingling as you both lost yourselves to the kiss.
Tyler suddenly pulled away, his breathing heavy as he rested his forehead against yours. Hands still gripping your waist, his body trembled slightly.
“I—” He swallowed. “There’s something else I need to tell you.”
Your heart is still pounding in your chest as you look up at him. “What is it?”
His gaze drop to the floor for a second before he look back at you. "We found a way to leave Jackson’s Star. And I want you to come with me."
You blinked. "What?" your voice was barely above a whisper.
You weren’t sure if you heard him right or if your mind was still reeling from the intensity of the kiss you just had.
"There’s an old Weyland-Yutani ship me and the others found. Bjorn, Navarro, and I...we’ve been working on fixing up a hauler, Corbelan IV. We’re planning to leave for Yvaga.” Tyler's eyes searched yours, watching the realization wash over you.
It took a moment for the gravity of what he was saying to fully hit you. Leave? You had spent years on Jackson’s Star.
The idea of leaving—of escaping to somewhere else, somewhere better—was almost too overwhelming to grasp.
You shook your head slowly as disbelief settled in.
“I—what?” Your voice cracked, barely able to keep up with your thoughts. “Tyler. H-how...how is this even possible?”
“We’ve been working on it for a while now,” his hands moved to gently cup your face. “Kay just needs to convince Rain to use Andy to access the ship-mother's systems so we can get to the hyper-sleep chambers. Once that’s done: You, me...we don’t have to stay in this place anymore.”
The way he said it so full of hope made your heart flutter.
For the first time in a long while you saw a future outside of Jackson’s Star, a way out of the endless cycle that had worn both of you down.
But then reality came crashing back.
Your brother.
He was still too young, barely begun working.
The colony had strict rules about who could leave and when—everyone had to meet their quota of hours to even be eligible for a transfer.
It could take years before he would be able to leave and you couldn’t abandon him. You and he were all each other had left.
“My brother. He’s still too young, doesn’t have enough hours to transfer yet. It could be years before he’s able to leave." You step back slightly, pulling yourself out of his grasp as your thoughts raced. "I can’t just...leave him here."
Tyler’s face fell, but he wasn’t giving up that easily.
"We’ll figure it out," he pleaded. "Andy. H-he's a synthetic! Yeah—he can stay behind and watch over him. You know he’s capable of it. Once we’re safe, once we’ve settled on Yvaga we’ll come back for him."
You could hear the desperation in his voice and it tugged at your heart.
You wanted to believe him, to trust that things would somehow work out, but the uncertainty was gnawing at you.
Your brother was all you had left after everything.
Could you trust that it would work out? Could you really leave him behind even for the chance of a new life?
The hesitation clawed at you making it hard to breathe.
Seeing that you weren’t convinced, Tyler stepped closer again, his hands finding yours as he pulled you gently toward the bed. “Please just...think about it.”
He sat down, eyes locked onto yours as he spoke. “If I wake up tomorrow and you’re not beside me, I’ll know you’re not coming. But if you are...” He let the rest of the sentence linger in the air.
A small smile tugged at your lips despite the turmoil inside you.
“Is this how you trick your way into my bed?” you teased softly, the tension easing just a bit. “You didn’t even ask to spend the night.”
Tyler’s lips twitched into a small grin. “Can I stay the night?”
You pretend to consider it. “Hmm I don’t know. Maybe you’ll have to work for it first.”
His grin widened, and before you could tease anymore, he leaned in capturing you in a kiss.
Tension melted away as his arms wrapped around to pull you closer.
It was both tender and longing—full of everything you both had been holding back for months.
Tyler’s touch was familiar; his lips soft but filled with the desperation of someone trying to hold on to something in fear it might slip away.
Your fingers tangled in his hair, body responding to his in ways that felt like fire burning within your veins.
His hands slid down your waist, fingers gently brushing against your skin as he began to pull at the fabric of your shirt.
Kissing back with equal fervor, your hands move to his shirt, pulling it off in one fluid motion.
Clothes fell to the floor, forgotten in the heat of the moment and as you sank into the bed together.
For now the decision could wait.
════════════════*.·:·.☽✧ ✦ ✧☾.·:·.*═════════════════
Tyler woke slowly the next morning, the faint hum of the colony's machines working in the background as he stretched beneath the covers.
Eyes still closed, for a brief blissful moment he thought about last night, the memory still fresh in his mind.
But as he reached out for you his hand met only cold air.
His eyes snapped open, panic flooding his chest as he realized the bed beside him was empty.
You weren’t there.
His heart raced as he sat up to scan the room. Empty.
The space next to him where you had been was cold and untouched. For a long moment he sat in silence, staring at the space beside him.
The weight of your absence pressed down on him like a heavy stone in his chest. You were gone.
He didn’t move. He couldn’t. The hope he had held onto so tightly the night before was slipping through his fingers.
All that remained now was a empty space, silence—the painful reality that you had made your choice:
You weren’t coming with him.

Next Chapter
Every day is exactly the same.
The sentiment runs through your head as you blearily blink up at the water stained ceiling. The comforter is tangled around your legs and your mouth is dry- a side effect from the sleeping pills. The shrill ringing of the alarm is the only indication that the morning has rose on the horizon, outside the singular window in your apartment it is still black as pitch. Your joints crack when you finally force yourself out of bed.
You go through your morning routine in an almost mechanical manner. Shower. Brush teeth. Get dressed in the standard issued trousers and blouse you’d been given when you got your assignment- the holes you’d sewn up yourself are barely noticeable. Barley. Clip your hair back. Even the movements as you eat the tar like oatmeal feel too practiced. Fake.
Lately, you’ve found you dont feel very real anymore. There’s probably droid’s walking around, wires for veins, that feel less hollow than you do.
Jackson Star is a planet in the Alfeios system, and in the 11 years you’ve been stationed here you’ve realized, that it is a planet that should've never been colonized. It’s harsh, by nature. Sweltering summers followed by frigid winters, and the ever present, extremely active volcanoes. The atmospheric processors can only do so much.
And they cant do shit about the lack of sun.
They can try to replicate it; expensive lamps and vitamin C tablets acting like a cheap knock off. Like Weyland-Yutani Corps way of saying sorry we dropped you in hell- here's the shittiest consolation prize in the galaxy.
This particular Friday is gloomier then usual, rain accompanying the dark. The walk down the cluttered streets feels even more…hopeless than usual. Like maybe this is all there is. Blurring lights of neon signs and the ruddy faces of children that hold out their hands on corners, begging for their next meal.
Like maybe if you stepped in front of the bus in this cross walk- then it would end the loop. You’d be able to get out of this eternally dark purgatory.
They aren't new thoughts, but you lifting your foot to step of the curb is. You go numb, not thinking or feeling as you step into oncoming traffic.
Theres the blaring honk of a heavy hand on a horn and then you're being yanked backwards, hard.
You gasp as you’re pulled back onto the sidewalk and out of the way of oncoming traffic. You’re equal parts grateful and disappointed. But mostly you’re shocked.
The girl is small statured, her brown eyes wide behind unruly curls. She curses filthy and fast in Spanish.
Her gaze makes you feel uncomfortably scene. Its assessing and…worried. Its been a long time since anyone worried about you. “Are you alright?”
You’re taken aback by her question.
“I’m fine. Didn’t see the cars coming” you don’t understand why you’re explaining yourself to this stranger. It’s probably the hot embarrassment that’s pointing your face red.
She doesn’t look amused by your answer but nods slowly “Okay…”
The signal turns red, the cross walk sign lights up and you’re gone, fast as your feet can take you away from your unlikely savior. Leaving her standing there, confused.
“You’re welcome!” Comes her snark filled holler. You don’t blame her. But with the shame filling you, you also can’t look at her. You just give a haphazard wave behind you. A piss poor thanks, you know.
You hope you never see her again.
-
After the blip this morning, the routine persists- until it doesnt.
The office is how it always is. Bleak. The yellow lights flickering and the wallpaper peeling. Patty, a heavy set woman with an acidic smile sits at the front desk. The grim reaper at the mouth of the river Styx. It’s pleasantries, your badge is scanned and then you find your way back to your cubicle. As ready as anyone can be to stare at a screen and four walls for the next twelve hours.
Maybe it’s something in the damp air, but once again, the day deviates from the norm.
You only ever work with electronic filing. Sorting piles and piles of e-documents into they Weyland/Yutani system. An office grunt you’ve been called. And yet today they want you up front, something about “Yolanda from zoning and housing” missing a day because her son is dying from black lung. God forbid she want to be by his side. It leaves the office understaffed.
“I’m not trained for that position” you try to reason but it falls on deaf ears. There are numbers to be punched, and your lack of true no how doesn't really matter. You begrudgingly leave your familiar desk, taking only the thermos of hot coffee with me. Small mercies, really.
Front desk is as hellish as one would think it would be. Between having to interact with real human beings, not the computers you’re used to combined with Patty’s snooty remarks; you’re absolutely jonsing to get the fuck out of there and go home by the afternoon.
In the back office the digital copying machine is down for the fifth time this week. All of the filing systems have honestly been off- a result of the shitty outdated tech on this planet.
“Ugh- they really dont know what they're doing back there” Patty sighs, muttering under her beath about how she doesnt get paid enough for this shit “Im going to go help. Again. Keep your head down and follow the guideline on the forms” she gives me stern instructions and a side eye “And dont touch my stories”
She cares more about the trashy soap operas she watches on her tablet then the mother she just evicted from her apartment.
Where’s a fucking droid when you need one? This is most definitely a job that shouldn't be done by anyone with a conscience.
With dread in your stomach you put on a brave face as the security system announces the next client;
Oh.
It’s a girl. With a small stature and wide brown eyes. Ones that reflect the same recognition you feel. It takes a moment for you to swallow the surprise.
“Name” You demand in a practiced voice. The shakiness you feel not transmuting to your tone. Or at least you hope it doesnt.
“Kay Harrison” and just like that, she’s not a stranger anymore “I’m here for an appointment”
You type quickly, plugging in the details on the keyboard. Pulling up her file. Scanning the information quickly. “Yes, I can see that. Here to formally request an eviction extension”
Damn. Thats tough.
“Yes. But only because we truly will be able to pay it next week. I brought not only mine but my brothers work logs and proof of direct deposit-” she pulls out a beat up old tablet and slides it under the glass. “We’ll be able to get the rent paid in full by the fourth”
What kind of cruel fate is this? The most twisted form of serendipity. She saved you this morning and now you have to co-sign on her eviction this afternoon.
You know it doesn't matter, you saw their file. The Harrisons arent newbies to being late for rent and their landlord is chomping at the bit to get them out.
“I’ll scan these into your case but at this point in the process it really doesn't matter” at your words, panic induced tears fill her eyes.
“No- because. We’re late. But we always pay. We’ve never been negligent, not on purpose. Since my dad died we’ve done our best” Kay rambles an explanation that doesn't matter and you feel frozen. Stuck. Conflicted in a way that you we’re supposed to have trained out of you.
“I cant-” you sigh and she looks pathetic. Drained…void.
A feeling you know all too well. That had almost led you right into the grill of a bus this very morning. And yet- she’d stepped in.
You gnaw on your lip and as discreetly as possible, your eyes scan around the empty office. Your co-workers still not back yet. You’re the only one in here. Its madness, but if there was any time to act on madness- it would be now.
You begin typing furiously, entering in codes that a normal front desk clerk wouldn't know, it isn’t in their training. But you’d been trained for filing.
“An extension wont be needed” You speak purposefully, giving Kay a pointed look “The landlord marked the eviction for the fifth. That gives you three more days to get a payment in before the constable is scheduled to come for the lock out”
There’s a moment of heavy silence.
The landlord had actually marked the second but well. It’s an easy enough over turn. Easy, but extremely illegal. You just did something that could not only cost you your job but risk your contract. Land you in jail-
“He marked the wrong date…” Kay chews the words, like she cant believe what she’s saying.
“Yep” I say quickly, finishing up, covering my ass by copying multiple files into the system. It would be hard as shit to uncover it, if anyone cared to bother. Kay’s just another file in the hundreds today. “Here you go, Miss Harrison. You have seventy two hours to get the payment to the respective party. If not the constable will be there to conduct the eviction”
I slide her tablet back towards her.
“I- I don't know what to say” She stutters and you give her a glare. You don't have the time for groveling, for un- needed thanks. As far as you’re concerned, you are now even.
“Don't say anything. Take your things and go”
I don't look at her again, not even when she leaves. Instead I refocus on my computer screen. Trying to breathe through the nerves that wrack my body. That was just about the stupidest thing you’ve ever done.
Your heart beats furiously and it’s the most alive you’ve felt in months.
-
After that it seems like something has been broken. The pattern no longer functions.
Jackson Star is by no means a small colony. Thousands strong, full of unfamiliar faces. And yet. You keep running into the same one.
“Here, I grabbed you a coffee. Extra sugar, like ya like, even though it’s going to rot your teeth out” Kay waits for you at the same corner that the two of you had met on. Weeks ago. She’d hunted you down after that fateful day and had shown that she wasn't giving up on showing her gratitude so easily.
Having friends in the colony is a dangerous game. Every friend you’ve ever had has either been transferred off planet or died. And yet here you are, eagerily bounding over to Kay. Taking the paper cup full of cheap coffee.
“My teeth are my own business thank you”
And it goes like this; the train station where Kay catches her ride to the mines isn't far from your job so the two of you make your morning commute together, gabbing about nothing. It's nice. It feels familiar, you used to have loads of friends.
Kay’s easy to talk to and she shares so much of herself so freely. Her little stories about her family make you smile. Make you feel warmth, and secretly longing. And yet still, every time the topic of you meeting everyone comes up you shy away.
Being friends with Kay is one thing. Meeting the most important people in her life is another.
She offers again today. Dinner at her house, ya’ know, the one she still has because of you. It’ll be lowkey. Just the friends. Fun.
Although you crave it, you’re scared of it too. That’s why you’re shaking your head, giving another of those flimsy excuses. Kay just pats your arm.
“If you change your mind, you’re still more than welcome to come. I’ll text you the details, okay?” She’s got this way about her. Gentle but not condescending, a hard balance to strike. Too bad she’s on this near barren planet, she’d be a great mother.
“I’ll keep that in mind, thank you”
When the two of you hit the proverbial fork in the road- you go your way and she goes hers. You to the office and her to the mines. Both prisons in their own rights.
You watch her cross the street and join a tall man at the train station. His skin’s the same shade as hers, his eyes the same almond shape. He’s handsome in a way that you’ve only seen on screens, in those old movies your mom used to watch.
This must be the older brother she talks so much about. Tyler.
He says something you can’t quite decipher to her and then looks over her shoulder, across the street at you, and beams.
Its not a normal smile. It’s pearly whites flashed at you in a way that makes your heart skip a beat in your chest. When he gives you a smooth wave you feel like you might be knocked over.
You just know the grimace and jerky hand motion you give back is as awkward as it feels.
If you obsess about how much of an antisocial weirdo you are all day, that’s your own prerogative.
I mean come on? You can’t even manage to wave back at someone? You truly need to get it together.
You think about that as you eat dinner at your makeshift table that night. Maybe, you’re just out of practice. You’re not awkward, just dusty. You just haven’t spoken to anyone for more then five minutes since your upstairs neighbor had a pipe burst.
It’s what leads you to pulling out your phone, to pulling up Kay’s contact. It’s still new. Still fresh.
Is there anything I should bring?
You don’t have to wait long for a response.
Kay: Nope, just yourself!😊 [location attachment] see you tomorrow.
You stare at her response on the small bright screen until your eyes burn. This is the change you had craved so badly.
So why are you so scared?
This chapter kind of took on a life of its own. I so desperately wanted to have Bjorn in this but there was just- a lot of ground to cover. Next chapter we’re jumping right into introducing him (and smut towards a the end of that chapter to!)
Big shout out to @spikedfearn for letting me ramble like a crazy lady in her inbox. Her Bjorn content literally makes me salivate.
If anyone else is still going through Romulus hyperfixation please feel free to comment or send asks! I’m always here to chat!

Final C (Tyler x lectora)
—No, bueno.
Tranquila.—
—Lo estoy ahora...—
Tyler sonrió, sin decir nada más.
—Bueno, sí. Me gusta ____.—
¡No!

Coming Out
Rain Carradine x Trans!Reader
Description: With the help of your girlfriend Rain, you come out to your family.
Word Count: 959
The night had settled in over Jackson’s Star, the endless rain creating a steady rhythm against the metal roof of the compound. Inside, the small common room was warm, the flickering light from the heater casting soft shadows on the walls. It was one of those rare evenings when everyone was together—Tyler, Kay, Bjorn, Navarro, Rain, and her synthetic brother, Andy—all gathered around the worn table, sharing stories and laughter after a long day’s work.
But tonight, something weighed heavily on your mind, something that had been building inside you for a long time. You had spent countless nights lying awake, turning the thoughts over and over in your head, trying to find the right moment, the right words. Rain had been your anchor through it all, her unwavering support giving you the strength to finally face what you had been avoiding for so long.
As the conversation flowed around you, you took a deep breath, feeling Rain’s reassuring hand on your shoulder. She gave you a small, encouraging smile, and you knew that this was the moment—you had to tell them.
“Hey, everyone,” you began, your voice a little shaky but filled with determination. The room quieted as everyone turned to look at you, their faces curious and attentive. “There’s something I need to say. Something important.”
Tyler, your older brother, frowned slightly, sensing the seriousness in your tone. “What is it?”
You took another deep breath, feeling Rain’s hand give a gentle squeeze of support. “I’ve been thinking a lot about who I am, and… I’ve realized that I’m not who I’ve been pretending to be. I’ve been struggling with this for a long time, and I know now that I’m a guy. I’m trans, and I want to start using he/him pronouns.”
There was a moment of silence as your words hung in the air, and you held your breath, waiting for their reactions. The fear of rejection, of misunderstanding, clawed at your insides, but you forced yourself to stay calm, to hold on to Rain’s support.
Then, slowly, Tyler broke into a smile, his eyes filled with warmth and understanding. “Hey… no, I mean, yeah, of course!” he corrected himself, chuckling a bit. “We love you, man. We’re with you, all the way.”
Kay was next, tears welling up in her eyes as she stood up and crossed the room to wrap you in a tight hug. “I’m so proud of you,” she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “You’re so brave. And we’ll support you every step of the way, okay?”
Bjorn and Navarro exchanged looks, both of them grinning before they gave you matching nods. “Hell yeah,” Bjorn said, his voice full of his usual good-natured humor. “You’re still our cousin, and that’s all that matters. We’ve got your back.”
Navarro nodded in agreement, her grin widening. “You’re family, man. Nothing changes that.”
Andy, who had been quietly observing, stepped forward, his synthetic eyes softening as he spoke. “I w-want you to kn-know that I’m h-h-here for y-y-you, t-too. Y-you’re s-s-still you, and th-that’s wh-what m-matters.”
Rain, who had been by your side the whole time, smiled, her eyes shining with pride and love. “I knew they’d support you,” she said softly, her voice filled with warmth. “We’re all here for you, baby”
You let out a breath you didn’t realize you had been holding, relief washing over you as you looked around at the faces of the people you loved, the people who had always been there for you. The weight you had been carrying for so long felt lighter now, like you could finally breathe.
But you knew that life on Jackson’s Star wasn’t easy. Everything here was hard and difficult, and while your family’s support meant the world to you, there were still challenges ahead.
Kay, who worked in the medical center, was the first to bring it up. “I can source some testosterone shots for you,” she said, her voice gentle but practical. “But they’re expensive. We’ll need to figure out how to cover the cost.”
You nodded, already having thought about this. “I don’t mind spending my hours on it,” you said firmly. “I’m willing to take up extra shifts, whatever it takes. This is important to me.”
Tyler’s brow furrowed, concern etched on his face. “You don’t have to do it all on your own, brother. We can help.”
“Yeah,” Bjorn added, his voice serious for once. “We’ll all pitch in.”
Rain squeezed your hand again, her support unwavering. “We’ll figure it out together,” she said, her voice filled with determination. “You’re not alone in this.”
Kay nodded, her eyes full of love for her little brother. “We’ll make it work. I’ll do everything I can to help you.”
You smiled, feeling a warmth in your chest that had nothing to do with the heater in the room. This was your family, and they were with you, every step of the way. The path ahead might be difficult, but with their support—and Rain’s love—you knew you could face whatever came next.
The evening continued with a sense of renewed closeness, the bond between all of you stronger than ever. You talked about the future, about the challenges ahead, but also about the hope you felt now that you had finally taken that step, now that you could be who you truly were.
And as you sat there, surrounded by the people who loved you, you knew that no matter how hard life on Jackson’s Star could be, you were ready to face it. You were Y/N, a man finally becoming himself, and with your family and Rain by your side, you could take on anything.

I watched the new Alien movie last weekend and my inspiration has been off the charts it was amazing.
And this fic?
Chefs kiss.
When I was younger I, like many others, would insert myself into every movie I’d watch and this fic literally encapsulated all of my fantasies I had when leaving the theater.
I love Tyler. I love Bjorn. I’d love to be loved by both Tyler and Bjorn.
The angst and underlying tension was delicious. The characterization? Bomb. This was such a delish read.
I can’t wait for a part 2 of you decide to go that route!
one heart broke, four hands bloody

MAIN MASTERLIST | ALIEN MASTERLIST
“Oh my God, oh my God, Andy, open the door!”You begged them standing on the other side of the door, feeling the presence of the alien behind you. “Open the door!”
“Hey, hey, hey, look at me, look at me!” Tyler tried to get you to focus on him from the other side. “It’s alright, we're gonna get you out.”
He turned to Andy, telling him repeatedly to open the door, as did Rain.
But she noticed first that Andy did not make a move to unlock the door. “What are you doing?”
Tyler kept his eyes on you. “Don’t look over there, look at me.”
You noticed something was going on. What, you had no idea. Fear was coursing through your veins as you sobbed. “Tyler, what’s wrong?”
“Andy,” Rain looked at her brother intently, her hands gripping his arms. “I need you to open that door right now, okay?”
“That’s what the creature is waiting for us to do,” he explained in an unusually calm voice.
“No! What the fuck, Andy, open the door!” Tyler shouted over to the synthetic, trying to somehow change his mind.
“If I opened that door, we would all die,” Andy concluded in an almost detached manner.
“Andy, please, please, I’m begging you,” Rain pleaded with him, her hands planted firmly on his shoulders. “She’s pregnant! Andy, come on!”
Tyler’s gaze immediately shot to the two siblings, then back to you, his eyebrows furrowed.
“Fuck!!” He screamed, his fists banging against the glass of the door before he walked over to Andy, getting on his knees as he held onto the synthetic’s hand, crying as he begged him to open the door.
“Please, Andy, please,” Tyler sobbed. “Don’t let her die, man, please.”
And in a moment of sheer miracle, he didn’t.
The door slid open and you fell into the hallway, right into Tyler’s arms. Everyone pulled you away from the open door as it shut at the last moment, helping you narrowly escape the alien.
However, there wasn’t much time for you to recover despite the many injuries you have suffered from falling down stairs and platforms, crashing into cold, hart metal. All four of you sprinted along the curved hallway towards the next best hiding place, eventually finding a small, empty office. Andy locked the door behind him while Rain helped you to the desk, shoving the clutter off of it.
“Fucking hell, Andy!” Tyler shoved the synthetic. “How could you risk letting her—“
“Tyler,” Rain warned him, looking over her shoulder as she tended to your injuries.
He scoffed, running a hand through his hair as he paced through the office, visibly trying to calm himself down. His eyes landed on you, and yours found his, all the physical pain forgotten. All the emotional pain coming back.
The dam you’ve been building so carefully now broken beyond repair, and all the water flooding back in. Nausea was rushing through your body when his voice turned to you
“When were you gonna tell me?” He echoed from the furthest corner of the office.
“I do not think this is the time to be having such a conversation,” Andy instantly stepped in, blocking him from your view. “Calm down, Tyler. And let her calm down, too.”
But with your throat constricted, you had no way of saying anything. Not even to Rain as she sent you a compassionate look that said ‘I am so sorry.’
“How bad is it?” You asked her to deflect from the commotion on the other side of the office.
“Pretty tough bruising, but I don’t see any broken bones,” she noted. “You think you can make it back to the Corbelan on foot?”
You swallowed hard, letting out a deep, compressed breath in an attempt to calm your nerves just enough to remain level-headed. At least for the moment. You gave her a nod, which she acknowledged with a small smile.
“You got this,” Rain said, though you didn’t know what exactly she meant. Only felt that she probably wasn’t referring to your bruises.
⋆𖤓⋆
Back on the Corbelan, the rest of the crew all let out relieved sighs at the sight of their unscathed friends. “Oh, thank God you’re safe,” Kay let out a breath she'd seemingly been holding ever since you left the space ship. “We should get you to med bay just to be sure you’re all okay.”
It wasn’t more than a good amount of bruises for all of you, and trauma for the rest of your lives, but everyone made it out alive, and was ready to leave, which was the only thing that mattered right now.
“We’ll take care of everything at home, and then we’re out of there for good,” Tyler announced, and Rain nodded in agreement.
“I’ll set course for Jackson’s Star,” Navarro said and left for the cockpit.
“Come on guys, let’s get buckled in for the ride,” Rain said, pushing everyone else out of the exam room. Everyone except for you and Tyler. She gave you one last apologetic look before mouthing the word ‘talk’ and walking off.
With everyone gone to the cockpit, leaving you and Tyler in med bay, the room suddenly felt a lot less comfortable than it already did by default.
His stare was ice-cold, his arms crossed in front of his chest, moving up and down with each deep breath that filled his lungs and calmed his nerves. You knew this look, you’ve seen it enough times.
“I just can’t do it anymore,” his British accent bounced off the walls of the trailer.
“What are you talking about?” You asked. A beat. No reaction. “Tyler!?”
The silence sucked all the oxygen from the small mobile home, leaving you nearly gasping for air as the first wave of nausea engulfed you. The final telling sign that this is where it ends.
“This!” He spat, arms spread as he gestured around the room. “This whole me and you thing!”
But words failed you, and the silence gave him courage.
"This hasn’t been going well for months, and you know it. We keep pretending that everything’s fine, that somehow everything will magically get better once we do this, once we do that, but it won’t. I can’t fix this. I can’t fix us. I’m just trying to survive here, trying to make it through another day without losing my mind. And your expectations, your— your… plans and hopes and dreams, they’re just… exhausting. This is exhausting.”
⋆𖤓⋆
His arms had been the ones to hold you tight all night long as you broke down once and for all. His thumbs had been the ones to wipe away your tears despite them already having formed into an endless stream of salty liquid. His ears had been the ones to listen to your heartbroken attempts at understanding how he could so suddenly throw it all away when he’d been the one to promise you over and over again that he would rather die than live a life without you.
And his mouth had been the one to shut you up and make you forget about everything. Even if just for the night.
“Stop looking at me like that,” you said as you got up into a sitting position, pulling your shirt back down and crossing your arms in front of your stomach as if hiding it from him. As if doing that will save you from having to deal with the implications of a small human being growing inside of you.
“How am I looking at you?” Tyler retorted in a hissy tone.
“You know exactly how you’re looking.”
He uncrossed his arms, letting them fall to his sides in a dramatic gesture of annoyance as his eyes glanced around the room, then back at you.
“Well, care to have a conversation now?” He asked expectantly.
You huffed. “I don’t know why I should.”
“Uhm, well, I don’t know,” he shrugged. “Maybe because you’re pregnant and didn’t tell me.”
“I don’t see how that’s any of your business, Tyler.”
“Oh, so you suddenly forgot how babies are made?”
“Haha, so funny,” you said with a stern look on your face, cocking your head to the side. “Patronising as ever.”
“So what?” He huffed in response. You were just gonna get rid of it? My child! Make that decision for both of us?”
“Who the hell said it’s yours, huh?” You snapped, the pain turning into anger and frustration.
“Yeah, cause there are plenty guys to choose from on the colony,” he scoffed, a pained grin on his lips.
That shut you up. You looked to the side as if avoiding his eyes would take the rising feeling of guilt away. As if it would undo what you did.
“You know what? You’ll never change,” he mumbled, turning around and storming off.
On his way out of med bay, his shoulder bumped into that of his cousin. Annoyed at everything and everyone, he shoved him against the wall. “Get out of my fucking face, mate!”
You wanted to follow him, not giving him the satisfaction of blaming everything on you and then leaving you in silence. But upon rushing after him — or, attempting to — a sharp pain jolted through the side of your body, forcing you to stay behind after all.
“Fuck!” You hissed, then shouting after him before he disappeared into the hallway. “You’re one to talk, Tyler!”
It hadn’t been just one night.
It had become a habit. A nasty, disgraceful habit that left you ashamed of yourself, of what you’d become.
Of what he’d turned you into.
“We have to stop,” you said as you sat on the edge of the bed, turning your back to his laying frame on the other side.
“What’cha mean?” He asked, his voice rough.
“I mean exactly what I said,” you huffed. “This,” you gestured between him and yourself, “is not okay. We can’t keep doing this.”
“Come on, don’t— Let’s not have this conversation, alright? Don’t make this complicated when it doesn’t have to be,” he groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“He’s your cousin!” You cried out. “And my ex! How is that not complicated?”
You jumped up from the bed, hastily putting on your shorts and tee, ignoring your discarded underwear as you made for the door of his trailer, slipping on your shoes, and storming off without another word.
“You’ll come back anyways, luv. Just like you always do,” he shouted after you before you slammed the door to the trailer shut.
“You alright?” Bjorn held onto you before you stumbled.
“Yes!” You hissed, aggressively pulling your arms back. “I’m fine. Just fine.”
A chuckle rumbled from his chest. “God dammit, is everyone on this bloody ship on their period or what.”
“Just shut the fuck up, Bjorn!” You near-shouted. “Not everything’s a fucking joke.”
Despite the pain in your side, and the inability to storm off, you made for the door when, suddenly. his hand grabbed your wrist, pulling you back forcefully. You landed in his arms, chest to chest, face to face, your eyes pulling each other in like they did that one fateful night.
“Kinda tragic you always end up in my arms when he fucks up,” Bjorn mentioned. “Always me who has to pick up the pieces.”
“Let me go, Bjorn,” you said, your voice calm despite.
“Only if you tell me what that was about,” he motioned towards the hallway where Tyler had just disappeared.
“Nothing,” you replied shortly.
He tsked, shaking his head. “Still the avoidant type.” His grip on your arms loosened, yet he moved closer to you, his lips grazed the shell of your ear.
“If only you were as open as your legs were two weeks ago,” his whispery voice echoed through your entire body.
“Oh, fuck off!” You hissed, shoving him back which did not amount to much because a) he was too strong for you and b) the sharp pain shooting through your side held you back.
“Hey, sorry to interrupt you guys, but we wanna leave,” Kay timidly walked into med bay, letting the two of you know you needed to come to the cockpit.
⋆𖤓⋆
“Did something happen on the ship?” Kay asked, clearly having to force herself to bring up the topic that surely was on everyone’s mind at this moment. “I don’t know, there’s just this… this weird vibe ever since you guys came back.”
What followed was an even more awkward silence than before. Half of the crew didn’t know what to say, and the other half didn’t want to risk accidentally revealing one secret or the other.
Tyler’s eyes landed on you, his gaze still dominated by that look of vexation and resentment. Bjorn looked from you to Tyler and back again, ultimately deciding to just stare at the ground.
Like the rest of the crew.
“Great. Now you’re not even saying anything,” Kay tried again. “Which proves my point by the way.”
The oppressive silence was a clear admission of your guilt, and gave her trust to keep digging.
“Tyler? Care to explain what happened?” She turned to her brother. “Cause I know damn well something did happen on that ship.”
“Why don’t you start with the person who’s clearly the cause of it all,” he hissed, blaming you so aggressively you had trouble keeping your composure.
“Me?” You scoffed.
“Yeah, obviously,” he hissed.
You crossed your arms in front of your chest, shaking your head. “Oh, that’s rich, coming from you.”
“You stop acting all high and mighty, alright?” He raised his voice, so you did too.
“What happened to the guy who fell to his knees begging Andy to save my life in there, huh? Where did he go? Why did he do such a 180?”
“You know exactly why,” he scoffed, shaking his head.
“I know,” you retorted, “but I’m asking why you think that.”
He shrugged, and you kept shouting at each other, a constant stream of accusations and insults bouncing off the metal walls of the Corbelan.
“I’m my own person, I don’t need to fill you in about every single thing that happens in my life,” you fumed.
“Ah, yes, here we go again.”
“What?”
“Your whole ‘none of your business’ attitude,” he mocked. “Like no one’s involved in this, eh?”
“Yeah, because this has nothing to do with the mission!” You yelled, your tone gaining a desperate edge, just wanting him to drop it altogether.
“Course not,” he laughed. “Cause the mission’s not putting you in danger. Or the baby.”
But of course things always had dire consequences for you. The two lines looked up at you from beside the sink like the insides of a snake’s eye. Like they were a mirrored image of what you had become.
“You alright in there?” Rain’s voice sounded from outside the bathroom.
“Uhh… Yeah, yeah, all good,” you reassured, and before she could say anything else, let alone do something, you stormed out of the room, bumping right into her.
“Oof— You had me scared there for a second,” she admitted with a tense chuckle, but you immediately played it down.
“You know how it is… Girl stuff. Such pain in the ass.”
A set of blue eyes immediately shot up from beside you. You could feel his stare on you, switching from your face to your stomach, burning into your skin.
“Tyler,” Rain said, her voice with an edge of disappointment.
“What?” He exclaimed, gesturing with his arms held out in front of his body and his shoulders raised.
“Yeah, really not cool, mate,” Bjorn agreed.
The fact that even Bjorn started defending you when he’d always been the shit stirrer of the group spoke volumes. And did not go unnoticed by Tyler.
“You,” he pointed at his cousin. “Don’t even start. None of your goddamn business!”
“Oh, really?” He accepted the challenge. “‘Cause you made it my business, mate.”
“Bjorn, don’t,” you warned, shooting him an alarming glare.
“No, no, no, he needs to hear this,” Bjorn stopped you. “You know what your girl did the night you dumped her like some piece of rubbish? You wanna know?”
“Bjorn!” You snapped, but he wouldn’t listen.
“You wanna know whose name she screamed that night?”
But Bjorn didn’t have to say more when Tyler already lunged at him.

MASTERLIST
“Y/n?” You paused mid-step as you slowly turned around to garner the attention of Kay. You thanked the vendor and placed the meal inside your bag. Her curly hair wasn’t hard to miss amongst the colony.
“Kay…hi.” You offer her a small grin.
“Oh my god, I haven’t seen you in so long. What’s it been like three years.” You didn’t mind the hug she gave you as she stepped forward.
“Four actually.” You grin with a faint laugh patting her back gently. You can’t stand to bear a second of the awkward silence so you continue. Asking the dreaded question Kay had hoped to hear from you to report back to her brother when she returned home. “H-How is…everyone? Navarro? Bjorn?…Tyler? Yeah, what’s he been up to lately?” You pocket your hands into your coat.
“Miserable, lost without you.” You roll your eyes at her exaggerated confession. “It’s true!” Her grin widens. “He can’t shut up about you not since you broke up.”
“Sure…” You hum in genuine curiosity.
“He misses you. We all do…” You give her a faint smile, it not entirely reaching your eyes.
“When’s the last time you’ve seen Rain?” Thoughts of how her and Tyler had a small thing going flooded your mind. “I haven’t seen her since I left.”
“Rain?”
“Yeah?” You nod.
“I haven’t seen Rain since her parents died.”
“Oh…that's awful.” You gape in shock. “I hadn’t known.” You muttered.
“We didn’t either till the news spread. News around here travels fast.”
“Hopefully not too fast.” You breathe a laugh.
Kay stood back watching how your posture used to be better and how your comfort showed itself amongst the people. You had never shied away from anything apart from public speaking, looking at you now was like staring at your ghost. A hollow version of what she knew you to truly be like. For her, for Kay, news traveled at lightning speed, and you try to play it off as though motherhood doesn’t define your entire being at the moment. Kay was well aware of the secret you thought you did well to keep.
“How is she?” You don’t even look at her to try and understand what she means by ‘she’. You knew you had caught sight of her curly locks all those years ago when you picked Jup up from her lessons. You close your eyes, a heavy weighted sigh leaves you as you fight the urge to cry out.
“I assumed it was you. No one else stands and lingers like a creepy stalker.” You muster a faint laugh.
“Would it have made any difference then, from now, knowing about her?”
“No.” You look off to the side. Watching as the hustle and bustle of your colony’s people flowed and moved. “I still wouldn’t have told you…or him.”
“I think you should.” Kay suggests.
“I think you need to stay out of my business Kay.” You try and shove past her, but she doesn't let up easy.
"Y/n-" She grabs you by your arm.
"He left!" You whip around in her face. "He left, Kay. He was scared to be more and he walked away and got with Rain. I don't hold anything against her for it. She'd be stupid not to fall in love with him...I fell in love with him...and yet I was stuck trying to survive and eat for two on this stupid mining colonization." Your facade falling. “She’s three Kay…She'll never get to see the sun.” Your arms fall against your sides in a slump.
"Then come with us...we have a plan. Tyler has a plan!" Kay pleaded. "But you have to tell him. You have to tell him about her!"
"I don't think I can Kay, not now at least. I got to go!"
"No wait we can figure this all-"
"Kay, I got to go." You pleaded, then took off. Knowing it was never good to leave Jup on her own. She knew to stay, but even then, if you took longer than usual, she'd wake up and begin to wonder where you were.

You had pushed through your shelter's door with a huff as your frantic mind gazed at the empty cot. "Jup baby, I'm here!" You call out to her.
"Who goes 'dere?" You whip around. The voice was far from intimidating as the high-pitched tone suddenly appeared from under a sheet on your small dining table meant for two, and two only.
You emit a sigh of relief as you lower yourself to her eye level. You tilt your head at her weapon of choice. A spoon...
"Do okay?" She wonders as she peers past your shoulder. You had taught her in a manner of speaking that only her three-year-old mind could come to grasp and knowing your baby girl she was quick to catch on. Your heart melts at the anticipation behind her eyes. The braved expression she held for you, but it was her eyes, ones you wouldn't dare admit to Kay that you missed, that gave Jup away. Where she tried to be fearless, she was still just your baby, fear hidden behind those brown eyes– like his.
"Just like we practiced..." You haul her up into your arms and press a greeting onto her cheek. "How was your nap?"
"Good..." She murmurs.
"Yeah? That's good. Hey, guess what I brought?" You gasp enthusiastically. "I got us breakfast and dinner for this whole week!" You cheer, bouncing her on your hip. She brings her hands together and claps in excitement. "Maybe, next week we can score ourselves a rare steak. Heard those are hard to come by." You set her down and begin to unpack your bag with the food you were able to trade for scraps and material you had.
While you worked, Jup sat on your bed and began to play with her stuffed toy, a black bear made up from scraps of fabric and stuffed with leftovers of some pants that no longer fit. Jup's long dark hair is tied into a messy ponytail as she mumbles to herself quietly. You smile at her playing mindlessly.
You move around your small kitchen keeping one eye on her and the shadows of those that pass your shelter. You would wonder if Tyler would show up on one random night, knocking. You'd open the door and his gaze would meet yours then slowly meet that of the little girl whose hair and eyes reflected his own. You knew you'd never truly be able to get away from him. From the inevitable introduction of a father meeting his daughter for the first time. You just hoped that if the time ever did call for it. He wouldn't hate you for it like he does fiercely in your dreams.
After a little while, it's almost time to eat, so you go over to Jup and scoop her off of the bed. "Hey little lady, you hungry yet?" You ask her as she nods her head, her messy hair bobbing with her movement. You kiss her head and set her down in her seat at the small table. You give her a little portion of her dinner and a tall cup of water, then you take your seat. You sit in silence. Small sounds of chewing as she does her best to reach the tabletop. You offer her a smile as you poke at another stale cauliflower. It wasn't the best but there was more to complain about than the food on Jackson Star.
Jup begins to drink from her cup, but her interest is piqued when suddenly there's a knock at the door. She takes a small sip as she places the cup carefully back on the table, and looks to you for reassurance.
You were slightly taken aback. You hadn't been expecting anyone. For the most part, the only person who ever came to your door was your neighbor, Sue, she lent you stuff she thinks you'd find useful for you and little Juniper. But the knock sounded different. Heavier. You glance down at Jup then haul her up the seat. You tense hearing another knock before you make up your mind and decide the small closet is your safest bet. You set her down and go to close the door behind you. "Baby, you stay right here and stay quiet, I'll see who it is, okay?" You tell her as you slowly begin to stand up.
With one last glance at her, you close the door behind you. Another knock rings out and you take a small, deep breath in. Though another glance at the table you hastily store her leftovers away on the kitchen counter.
You walk over to the metal hatch door and unlatch it slowly. It opens with a small creak, revealing not your neighbor, nor an unfamiliar face, but Tyler. Your heart feels as though it's about to give out in your chest. You were frozen in place as you took in the sight of him. He never seemed to stray from the whole dark, tall, and handsome stereotype. It almost made you want to laugh, but you kept still as your hand gripped the door handle. "Ty?"
Tyler breathes out at the sight of you. How lovely you are. How beautiful you are. He never stopped reminding you how you'd always find ways to render him breathless. Albeit, it'd get him a punch or two in the shoulder but he would have complimented you over and over if it allowed him to see you smile once more. How he wished for it now, seeing your weary-eyed expression. You were breaking his heart and all you had barely done was look at him and call him 'Ty' after four years.
He didn't know quite how to approach you now. The look he earned from you was one of exhaustion. He could hardly read you, but he'd be damned if he didn't try. Not only was the thought of talking to you after so long terrifying, but the thought of messing it up terrified him further. "Hey." He mumbled through his thick accent, his eyes scanning how you had the door only slightly open. "Mind if I come in?"
Tyler almost grimaced seeing how you had closed the door an inch more, limiting the space between you both. He knew then and there the forward approach had been the wrong approach, especially when it came to you. You instantly put your walls up around you. He could see it from your tensed-up shoulders that you wanted to get him out of here as fast as you could.
The silence was loud between both of you. He wanted to say something. Maybe a compliment would get you to crack, but he wouldn't take the risk. He wouldn't risk scaring you off. Tyler's eyes had a look in them that showed his desperation to keep you from shutting the door in his face. He wouldn't hold it against you if you did. He could tell you wouldn't let him in. "Y/n-" He began.
"What are you doing here, Tyler?"
He almost visibly winces at the tone of your strained voice. He looks past you, into your home. Tyler's gaze lands on the small table with only one setting and his heart sinks. You notice his look and your grip tightens on the door. He couldn't help it. He had to ask. "Are you…alone right now?"
He almost visibly winces at the tone of your strained voice. He looks past you, into your home. Tyler's gaze lands on the small table with only one setting and his heart sinks. You notice his look and your grip tightens on the door. He couldn't help it. He had to ask. "Are you…alone right now?"
The look on your face doesn't waver. You know exactly where he's going with the question, yet you can't bring yourself to shut the door. You're frozen, but you refuse to answer him. It takes everything in you to keep your cool. You bite the inside of your cheek and avert your gaze.
He had wanted to say so much to you. To apologize for the way he had left you and treated you. To tell you he had missed you and to see you again without the fear of you shutting him out. But he found it hard to find all the words that he wanted to say. "Y/n, let me in." He stepped over the threshold as your hand shot out to stop his entry.
"Y/n-"
"What did Kay tell you?" You asked with grit in your voice. "I haven't seen your face in four years, why now? What the hell did she tell you?" You shove against his chest.
Tyler catches your arm as you shove him, he's holding it between you. He's taken by surprise by your reaction to him showing up. He looks down at you with his widened eyes as he tries to come up with the words. "She didn't- Y/n, just stop." He grabs hold of your wrists, stopping you from pushing against his hold. "I just want to talk to you. Just let me talk to you." Tyler pleads. He was scared. The anger you're releasing was almost unexpected but not unwelcome. Anger was something he could deal with. Anything was better than silence from you.
"Don't lie to me, Tyler." You say through gritted teeth, trying to pull your arm back to yourself. "Why are you here all of a sudden, huh?"
"Huh?" You go to shove him again. He grabs your wrists and uses his strength to shove you against the wall next to your door, pinning both of your arms on either side of your head. You look over in time to see him kick close your door. The slam drowning out your heavy breathing. Tyler looms over you, his chest rising and falling.
The air between you is thick and charged as he keeps you held against the wall. His chest was flush against yours and he held your wrists over your head as he stared down at you. You watched his gaze move from your eyes which burned into his own. He's staring at your heaving chest, the curve of your collarbone before he looks back down at your face. His own heart was pounding, so loud it almost drowned out the sound of your own. You could only hear one another's heavy breathing.
"Get out…" You slump back against the wall.
Tyler's expression falters. He doesn't listen, of course. No, he only grips your wrists tighter in response as he leans in closer. His body pushes against yours more until there's almost no space between you both. "No." He says to your request, his voice is heavy and deep. There's a desperation in his tone. "I'm not leaving till you talk to me." His lips are close to yours and he doesn't miss how your eyes lower to glance at them. "Only if you talk to me."
"The nerve you have to show your face now-" You begin to give it to him.
He takes it as he keeps you pinned to the wall. He almost flinches at the harshness in your voice, but he doesn't say anything about it. This was nothing new. Tyler always seemed to love it when you gave him an earful. He enjoyed seeing the frustration in your eyes, how your lips would get in a pout. He watched as you opened your mouth again only he spoke before you could voice your opinion. "Just shut up for a second and listen to me damn it!"
That shuts you up for him. He almost smirks but catches himself, though you can see him almost enjoying the look of annoyance in your eyes. He didn't miss the way your eyes once again glanced down at his parted lips. "No more yelling. Just listen." Tyler mutters, his head moving slightly closer.
"You're yelling though…" You furrow your brows at him.
He almost chuckles, almost. How stubborn you still were. But he was trying to be serious with you for once. He lifts his hold around your wrists, his nose almost touching yours. "Because you're being stubborn-headed." He lets his voice soften as he looks at you.
"I think you're just being a gigantic dick."
Tyler raises an eyebrow at you now. He almost wanted to laugh at you. What he does instead is tighten his grip on you again as he stares down at you. "And you're being a pain in my arse." He responds to you with a huff. "Always have been, always will be."
"Tyler…what did Kay say to you?"
That stops him and his cocky demeanor suddenly falters. Tyler is silent for a moment, his lips in a straight line as he refuses to meet your gaze. "She said…" He begins to say but almost feels ashamed to tell you. "She said that I have-"
"Mommy…do good?"
Too engrossed by each other you had forgotten about the small human you had tucked away from sight. Her voice was small and curious. You look past Tyler, your eyes instantly falling onto Juniper.
You almost gasped, as did Tyler as both of your heads snapped to look at Jup in the moment of surprise. She was standing by the small little counter you had, still holding her stuffed bear tight in her grip. The sight of her causes Tyler to slowly step back away from you, his eyes are widened in disbelief.
"-a daughter." He freezes, and his shoulders drop as does your heart at the sight of Jup who was supposed to stay hidden, and in that moment Tyler looks back over at you. He watches you as he sees the guilt wash over your features.
You grimace as you go over and haul her up into your arms. Her head laid against your shoulder, clinging to her bear in her little hands.
"Ty, this is Juniper. Your daughter."
Tyler's mind went a mile a minute as he took in the sight of the little girl staring at him from the safety of your arms. He could see the guilt in your eyes, almost as though you were caught doing something you weren't meant to be doing. He looks down at his daughter, her messy black locks and big dark eyes. The girl was a mini version of himself. Apart from her ears, smile, and nose. She was his.
"I almost tore a new one into Kay after she got home and told me. Almost didn't believe her." His laugh fainted. "All this time?"
You had gotten her tray of food and sat her down on her chair. Juniper obliged but still kept a cautious eye on the random man in her home. "Tyler, you didn't want this." You gesture between you both. "You wanted an out, so I let you go."
Tyler couldn’t take his eyes off of the little girl. His daughter. He couldn’t believe it. He knew Kay was never one to lie about something so big, but to see it right before his eyes was a completely different story. “You could’ve told me.” He said, more quietly than he thought possible.
"You would have stayed for her. When I needed you to stay because of her, and because of me. But you didn't want anything serious, and I wasn't gonna sit by and watch you stay for a baby, not when you couldn't even look me in the eye anymore."
Those words hit him hard, almost like a punch in the gut. He wanted to defend himself. You were right. He couldn't deny that you were. He had wanted freedom, he wanted off this colony, a new life. No strings attached. But now standing there, he wasn't so sure anymore. He could've had so much more than what he had settled for. He had pushed you away and ran because he was scared of something real. And as he looked at his daughter, he could see the proof of his cowardice.
“You should have told me,” Tyler repeated, he ran a frustrated hand through his hair. He looked back at you. “I had a right to know.”
"No Ty, you didn't. Not then." You deny.
"And why not??" Tyler's voice rises. He couldn't believe it. He had a daughter this whole time. He had gotten you pregnant and ran away and you hid that fact from him for almost four years. “You decided that on your own.” He retorted back. Tyler took a step forward, his hands went to his pocket, in a desperate attempt to look indifferent. He watched as you sat down beside Jup, running a hand along her messy hair. "I should have been a part of her life. I should have been with you- Y/n, I had a right to know about her, damn it.”
"You left me. You gave me no other choice." You peer up at him through watered eyes. "I needed you…"
“And I needed space goddamn it.” Tyler snapped. He took a step back, as though to distance himself from you. But when he saw the tears in your eyes, something inside him ached. He wanted to walk over and comfort you, but he didn’t. He stood there like a jackass, watching you fight back tears. “I just needed time to think…I couldn’t breathe when I was with you. You overwhelmed me.” He admits, his shoulders slumped.
"Oh…" Your voice dies down at his words. You muster a nod before you look over at Jup watching the scene unfold before her.
She was watching with big curious eyes, taking in the atmosphere of this new man that was in her home. Tyler could see the similarities between himself in the little girl. How she looked and moved, it was as though he was looking at a reflection of himself in the small child. He watched as you smiled at her, reassuring her that everything was fine.
Tyler’s breath gets stuck in his chest as he watches how you are with his daughter. The two of you looked and moved naturally together. And here he was raising his voice wondering if she thought the worst of him. He notices your change in demeanor and suddenly, he’s kicking himself. He hadn’t meant for it to come out that way. He hadn’t meant for those words to be backhanded. But they were and he hurt you once more.
"I'm sorry." You glance up at him as he starts. "That came out wrong, I didn't mean for it to. Heat of the moment…" He palms his face. Tyler sighs his mind and heart racing. He’s hurt you by saying that. He hadn't meant it in that way, but he knew how it sounded. “Y/n, that’s not what I meant.”
"Yeah, but you still said it Tyler. Such a shitty thing to say too!"
“Yeah, I did and I’m sorry, okay.” He lets out a frustrated sigh as he runs his hands along his face again. It was frustrating. It was all so damn frustrating. Everything about this was. He was frustrated for hurting you, for saying those words and he was frustrated for having a daughter that he should have known about years ago. “Damn it-“ He mumbles, shaking his head.
"You know the more you keep swearing in front of our kid, the more bad habits she'll be likely to pick up."
That shuts him up.
Tyler lets out a huff as he looks down at his daughter. He takes a few steps towards you and Jup. He’s watching you, how you caress back her hair and keep her reassured as you try to act like everything is normal. He stops to stand beside her. He looks down at her, taking in the details of her face now that he’s up close to her. He smiles softly for her, hoping to appear as less of a threat to her.
"You're still a jackass..." You mutter under your breath, but the smirk that grows on his lips tells you he heard you loud and clear.
He snorts softly at that, unable to deny it. Tyler doesn’t hesitate to lean down and whisper a response back to you. “And you’re still the love of my life.”
You still. Frozen from the shock and complete obscurity of his words.
Tyler grins at your reaction. He straightens up, hands back in his pockets. His eyes are almost mischievous as he watches you falter. “Perhaps I should have kept that to myself.” He teases.
"Yeah, that might've been wiser." You huff with a laugh.
“Yeah, I’ve never been one to make smart decisions.” Tyler chuckles. He leans himself against the table, keeping his eyes on you. He’s watching how you still have a hand on top of Jup’s messy hair as a reassuring touch. He nods his head at the sight. “She looks like me, but it’s your ears.” He teases. "You're smile and nose."
"Well thank god, it wasn't your ears."
"Hey, what's wrong with my ears?" He says as he puts a hand over his heart, the other one goes to his ear and acts offended by your statement.
You feign a grimace.
Tyler huffs under his breath at your expression. "Oh, real mature." He grumbles as he crosses his arms, a pout visible on his face. "You never had a problem with my ears before."
You surrender.
Tyler grins at the sight, watching you throw in the towel. He takes his hands from his chest and ear, leaning himself down again so he gets close to you.
“I do mean it though. You are and always have been the love of my life."
"I'm a loss in your life, Tyler." You correct.
His head almost snaps back in disbelief at your statement. Tyler shakes his head. "No, you have never been a loss to me. You are- you have only ever been the best part of my life. I just-" He pauses as he suddenly feels himself get frustrated with himself all over again. "Damn it, can you just stop putting words in my mouth, and listen to the fact that I never stopped loving you! Even when I left to train. Even when we were over. I never stopped."
"Tyler this is crazy-"
"No this isn't crazy!" Tyler snaps again, but his tone quickly deflates as he looks to make sure that Jup hasn't heard him. He takes a breath as he runs a hand over his hair again in frustration. "It’s not. You're everything I want. Everything I have ever wanted. You're the light of my life, and I can’t let you go again. I have spent so many years miserable that-"
"Kay did mention that." He gave you a look. "Sorry."
"-I was never happy when I was away from you, I didn't know how miserable I truly was until I left."
"It's not that easy for me. Tyler, you just told me a few minutes ago that you couldn't breathe around me, that I overwhelmed you. Make it make sense!"
"You do overwhelm me, damn it!" Tyler snaps again, he stands straight now, and he can feel a rush of adrenaline suddenly running through his body. "You make my heart race a million miles a minute. You're the only person who can piss me off and make me feel like a damn fool in love. You don't take my shit and make me want to kiss you every time we've argued. You make me feel so much all at once and sometimes I can't handle it. But I don't want to feel numb anymore! I didn't know what I had until I lost it. Until I lost you. No one else makes me feel that…god not even Rain."
"Oh god...Tyler." You ran a hand down your face.
Tyler sighs as he watches you, seeing your expression change yet again. "I got my second chance right here with you. With Juniper. Us."
You tilt your head hearing his words. "Ty…"
Tyler reaches over and grabs your hand, it surprises you by the sudden touch. He gently pulls you back up to your feet, getting you to stand in front of him. He’s got a tight grip on your hand like if he lets go you might disappear. "I want us. I want you. I want you and our kid and I-" He struggles for the right words that he so desperately wants to say. "I want this family more than anything."
"You do?"
Tyler can hear the uncertainty in your voice. He hates it. He reaches up and cups your face with his hand, forcing you to look at him directly. He gazes into your eyes, almost pleading for you to see that he’s being sincere. "Yes," He answers simply, quietly. He leans in, resting his head against yours. "I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life."
"Tyler if you leave us, I will never forgive you-"
"I won’t." He exclaims. He’s gripping your hand in his like a vice. "I’m not leaving. Not this time. I made that mistake before, you’re not getting rid of me." He gently presses his forehead against yours. He’s looking at you carefully. "…do you believe me? Do you trust me?"
Your faint nod had him relaxing.
Tyler lets out a relieved sigh at your nod. He’s got all of this energy, adrenaline, and fear coursing through his body and it takes all of it to not just grab you and kiss you. Instead, he just pulls you against him and wraps his arms around you, holding you tight. He closes his eyes as he buries his face in your hair, pressing kisses into your skin.
You wrap your arms around him and inhale his scent. Your hug only lasts so long when Juniper has you both pulling away again. "Mommy."
You can both hear her soft voice and when you and Tyler pull away from each other, you see that little Jup has come to stand beside you both. Her bear and now a picture you were all too familiar with in her hands. She’s looking up at you with her big brown eyes, and her messy hair. She tugs on your shirt with a soft pout of her lips.
"What do you have there baby? Is this for me?" You haul her up into your arms. Tyler lingers behind you, watching your interactions.
Jup happily climbs up into your arms and she is careful of the picture she’s holding as she tucks her face into your neck. She’s still holding onto it tightly between her little hands as she mumbles something against your skin, but her words are muffled. She pulls back slightly so she can hold up the picture to you.
Tyler registers what is it before you can turn it over. "You kept it."
Your eyes are now fixated on the picture in your hands. It’s the picture you had taken the day you found out you were pregnant with Jup. Your hair was done, and you dawned one of your nicer shirts. Both you and Tyler were looking at each other while his arms were wrapped around your waist and his chin was resting against your shoulder. He had kept the picture in the inside pocket of his jacket for a while. Now you held onto it.
In the picture, the essence of your happiness had been captured. It was one of the happiest days you had ever felt. The month that followed after that day. You tried to forget it ever happened.
Yes, you had kept it. You’d kept it under yours and Jup's cot all these years.
"You gave it to me remember."
"I would've thought you'd thrown it out by now."
You were both silent for what felt like an eternity as you looked down at the picture, running your thumb over your faces.
"No, I couldn't." You admit, softly. "It meant too much to throw away. Besides, it's the closest thing I got to an ultrasound around here." You shrug.
Jup peers out of your neck as she watches the two of you talk, still not quite registering who this man is. “Who?” She says, with her head at a tilt.
"Jup this is Tyler, Tyler…He's your-" You peer up at him not knowing what to officially label him as.
Tyler clears his throat as he’s suddenly put on the spot. He looks at her, seeing how she looks at him with such curiosity. He feels his heart suddenly flutter again when he hears the word your, like some sort of proof of belonging.
“I’m your dad,” He answers confidently, smiling softly at her and her messy head of hair. "Your daddy." His accent coming through. "I'm here to stay if you'll have me. If your mommy will have me." He peers cheekily into your eyes, where you have to fight the urge to roll your own.
"What do you think Jup. Should we let him stay?"
Jup’s eyes go wide at the question and her interest is perked by the sudden proposal. Her head suddenly pops away from your neck as she looks at you and she nods her head, with her messy hair flailing. It was a rather eager nod on her part. "Yes!"
"Yeah?" Tyler's grin widens.
Jup nods her head. "Yes!" She confirms again, more excitedly this time. She's looking down at Tyler with those big brown eyes, and she's got a smile on her face. Tyler leans in and pecks her curls, grinning from ear to ear, knowing he has her approval. "Looks like I'm sticking around then, Jup's orders," He replies, meeting your gaze.
"Guess so, soldier."
"Guess so." Tyler repeats back, with that damn smirk of his. He can’t take his eyes off you. He’s watching you like you’re something he's finally got to have again. It makes his heart clench.
Tyler takes you by surprise when he’s suddenly close enough to touch you. He brings his hand to your neck, cupping it in the palm of his large hands as he leans in, using the leverage to pull you into him. His lips are on yours in an instant, firm and eager against your mouth. Your surprised gasp has your mouth open to his and he takes the opportunity to deepen the kiss.
You use one of your hands to pull him closer.
Tyler pulls away, breathing heavily against your lips. "I've been wanting to do that since you opened the door." His chuckle makes your grin widen.
"So stupid…" You shake your head.
Tyler lets out a huff as he grins. He cups the side of your face with his hand, resting his forehead against yours. “Damn you. You drive me mad, woman.”
"Yeah? Well, you're gonna have to get used to it around here."
"I think I'll manage. I'm tougher than I look." Tyler grins as he tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear. He's close enough that you can hear his accent through his words as he peers into your eyes.
"No, you're not…"
"No?" Tyler’s eyes were narrow as he picked up a bit of a teasing tone in your voice. "Oh, it's like that then, is it?" He says as he raises an eyebrow. "You hear this Jup, your mum says I'm not tough." He feigns hurt.
"Tuff." Jup repeats back to him. "Tuff, tuff, tuff."
Tyler grins. "That's right, Jup." He says as he gently reaches out and boops her nose with his finger, earning a little giggle out of her and the sound makes his heart warm.
"Please don't encourage her. She doesn't need to learn bad habits from her dad."
"Oh come on, she’s not going to pick up my bad habits…" Tyler glances between you and her. "Besides, she already has your cautiousness, so it's too late."
"Well, I'd rather that than have her watch your macho tough guy act unfold. Jackson Star knows I've seen enough of it."
Tyler huffs. "It’s not macho. It’s called having a backbone." He snaps back, with a tone that you know is more playful than serious. "I’m teaching my daughter to be strong."
"I think you mean thick-headed, excuse me it's time for her bedtime." You walk around him to get her settled onto the cot.
"Hey! I'm not thick-headed." Tyler protests as he gives you a look of disbelief. He glances over at Jup who is sitting quietly in your arms and suddenly he looks concerned. “W-Wait, bedtime? How early does she sleep?”
"Tyler, It's a quarter past eleven." You gesture to the hologram clock on the small counter. Tyler turns to look at it.
He blinks. "It’s that late already?" He exclaims in disbelief as he looks from you to the clock and back again.
“Quarter past eleven. No wonder she’s so tired,” He muses as he looks back over Jup. Sure enough, your daughter is fighting to keep her eyes open, and her head is slowly drooping against your shoulder. "Damn, I guess I didn’t realize we had been talking for that long."
You shift her so that her head is on the pillow you share. "I put her down early, but you showed so I really couldn't at the moment. The best I could do is get her to eat her meal."
Tyler steps to your side as he watches you gently arrange her on the cot. He can’t help but smile as he watches you make sure Jup is comfortable before you give her a soft kiss on her forehead. “She’s a big girl.” He muses, softly, as he watches her little head fall back against the pillow and the even little puffs of her breath.
"I wouldn't say that. She still needs mommy to tuck her in."
Tyler glances at you as he grins. He lets out a huff of a laugh. “I’m guessing she inherited that from you, huh?” He teases. "Does mommy need daddy to tuck her in?"
"No." You huff with a laugh, shoving his shoulder.
Tyler laughs as he rubs his shoulder. “Ow.” Despite it being a very soft shove. He glances down at you, his eyes scanning over your features. "You are just as stubborn as I remember you being. I'm telling you, love." He muses as he steps closer to you, using his height to try and intimidate you.
"Just like you remember?" You hum.
"Yeah…" Tyler slowly nods as he takes another step closer to you. He stands in front of you, and you have to have your head tilted back to look up at him. "Just like I remember. Stubborn. And beautiful. A deadly combination, I’m telling you."
"I'm glad you came." You admit. Tyler’s smile softens at your words. He reaches down and takes your hand in his, squeezing it.
“I’m sorry I took so long.” He apologizes, softly.
"Took you about four years...but who's counting." You shrug.
Tyler rubs the back of his neck embarrassed. "Yeah, yeah, I know. I’m sorry it took me a while to get my head out of my own arse." He glances at you, looking sheepish. “I’m here now, though. I’m not going anywhere else.”
"Good, 'cause if you do. I’ll throw you into outer space." You lean in and peck his lips for a sweet kiss.
“Oh, I don’t doubt you would.” A deep chuckle rumbles through his chest.

The corridor was a dim, oppressive tunnel of steel and shadows, lit only by the weak, flickering lights overhead. The walls were damp, slick with condensation, and the air was thick with the scent of fear. A reinforced glass door stood between Tyler and you. You were trapped on the other side, face pale and streaked with tears. You pressed your hands against the door, eyes wide with terror as you stared at Tyler, Rain, and Andy on the other side.
“Please! Andy, open the door!” Your voice full of panic, the sound barely audible through the thick glass door. Your eyes darted to the shadows behind you, where something huge and dark moved just out of sight, lurking in the edges of the dimly lit chamber. "Open that door! It killed Bjorn and Navarro."
Tyler’s heart hammered in his chest, a sickening rhythm that made him feel like he was about to explode. He pressed his hands against the door, his brown eyes locked with yours. “Andy, we have to open it! She’s right there!” he pleaded, his voice shaking with desperation.
Rain was beside him, her hands also pressed to the glass, her expression stricken with fear. “Andy, please,” she begged, turning to the man standing at the control panel. “We can’t leave her in there! We can get her out before it’s too late!”
Andy stood back, his hand not moving to the control panel, a grim look on his face. He didn’t move, didn’t breathe, his eyes fixed on the dark shapes moving behind you. “We don’t know what’s in there with her,” he said, his voice strained, filled with emptiness. “If we open that door… we might be opening it for that thing too.”
“I don’t care!” Tyler shouted, slamming his fist against the door, making you jump. “We can’t just leave her to die! That thing is going to take her, Andy! We have to do something, anything!”
You shook your head, tears streaming down your face as you looked at Tyler, eyes pleading. “Tyler, please, please, help me! Don’t leave me here!” Your voice cracked, the fear in your words breaking his heart.
Rain’s voice trembled as she reached out, grabbing Andy’s arm. “She’s right there, Andy. We can’t let it get her. We have to open the door. We can’t let her die too!”
But Andy’s eyes were locked on the shadows, on the faint, sickening movement of something massive, alien like shifting behind you. The Xenomorph loomed in the darkness, it's eyeless gaze fixed on them through the glass door. It was waiting, waiting for them to open that door, to be let inside.
“We can’t,” Andy whispered, his voice filled with dread. “If we open that door, it’ll come through. We’ll all die.”
Tyler’s fists clenched, his entire body trembling with rage and helplessness. “Y/N!” he shouted, his voice hoarse. “We’ll find another way! I promise, we’ll get you out!”
But you were sobbing now, fear overwhelming you whole. “No, no, no please, Tyler don’t leave me here, don’t-”
Before you could finish, the Xenomorph surged forward with terrifying speed, its long, skeletal fingers wrapping around your shoulders, pulling you back into the shadows. Your scream filling the room all around you. It was piercing Tyler’s soul as he watched you get dragged away from the door, disappearing into the darkness.
“NO!” Tyler screamed, his voice breaking as he pounded on the door, his heart shattering in his chest. Rain gasped, covering her mouth as tears filled her eyes.
“Y/N!” Tyler cried out, his voice filled with pain.
“I'm sorry Tyler, but there wasn't anything I could do to help her." Said Andy.
"No, you could save her, but you didn't! You didn't!" Tyler shouted and took a step closer to Andy, ready to punch him. But Rain stepped right in front of him, holding him back. "It's your fucking fault!"
“We couldn’t do anything,” Andy said quietly. “If we had opened that door… we would all be dead.”
Tyler slumped against the glass, his forehead rested against the cold surface, his breath coming in ragged gasps. He felt like the world had just ended, like everything had been ripped away from him in one horrible moment. Your cries echoed in his mind, a sound that would haunt him forever.
"She’s not dead. She's all right." Tyler mumbled all over and over again. Trying to remain clam.
He couldn’t hear anything over the sound of Y/N’s scream, the scream that had been cut short too soon, the scream that would stay with him, echoing in the dark corridors of his mind.
Rain put a hand on his shoulder, her own tears falling silently as she whispered, “We’ll get her back, Tyler. We’ll find her.”
But as they stared into the dark, empty room beyond the glass, where you had been moments before, the hope in their hearts felt as fragile as the glass that had separated them. The corridor was silent now, save for the distant, ominous hum of the ship’s machinery, as they were left to grapple with the terror of what had just happened.
And the knowledge that the nightmare was far from over.

It's getting dark, darling, too dark to see [Bjorn x afab!Reader] [part 1 of 2]
Your friends are dead. Their blood still soaks your hands, their screams fill the silence of the night. But Bjorn is there, through it all. Sole survivors Bjorn x fem!reader
Next Part
A/N: not me caving and writing Bjorn x Reader FJZKVMSKFKD I am in DEEP in this fandom my brain is rotting and I am SO fucking obsessed, so have this random ass lil fic I just wrote! Title of the fic from Thistle & Weeds by Mumford and Sons! This is gonna be some angsty shit so buckle in, it's gonna be a LOT and this is only the first part
Warnings for the series: general alien themes, MAJOR character death, blood, graphic depictions of violence, trauma, trauma bonding, unhealthy coping mechanisms, unprotected sex (wrap it up folks!), technical cousin incest (Kay/Bjorn), childbirth
The hauler is silent, save for the odd mechanical rumble or beeping from the cockpit.
Not even a few hours ago, you were all laughing here, dreaming of the future you would all have on Yvaga, the fact that you would all feel sunlight on your skin, breathe in fresh air.
Only two of you would.
Bjorn sits on the floor not far from you, cradling Kay's lifeless body. His eyes haven't left her face, her pale, grey face.
Kay was always smiling, always had a twinkle in her eye, a laugh in her throat. Kay had been too sweet for Jackson, Kay had been the exact kind of person who deserved to live a full and happy life on Yvaga, to bask in the sunshine that would never be quite as warm as her.
Kay was dead, now. Killed by the child she'd tried so hard to protect this entire journey.
You can't stop staring at her.
Her skin now void of colour, her eyes still open in horror, her lower half soaked in blood. If the creature hadn't killed her, then the blood loss would have.
The hauler cruises through the stars on autopilot. Rain had set the course for Yvaga and-
Rain.
You almost throw up.
You'd seen it, on the cameras. As Bjorn sobbed and pleaded with Kay to not leave him, as her blood soaked his clothes and her breathing stopped in his arms, you had seen the security footage of Rain dangling from the cable, that thing piercing the helmet she was wearing.
Then you had heard it, Rain managing to hit the audio button on her helmet, how she had screamed at you to close the hatch, to seal her and the creature out.
"Rain, you'll die-" you had shrieked, fingers panicky, hovering over the buttons with uncertainty.
"But the rest of you will live!" she had fired back, shrieking again as the creature continued to pierce the glass of her helmet. "[Y/N], please, PLEASE-"
You'd done it, collapsing to the floor unable to watch as the hatch closed, as it severed the cable Rain was attached to. Unable to watch your friend be sent to death by your hand.
You still sit on the cold metal floor, staring at Kay, at Bjorn, who's more quiet than you've ever seen him. His eyes are haunted, silent tears streaking down his cheeks, his chest heaving with every breath he takes, as if it pains him to do so.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out why.
He'd seen Navarro with a creature bursting free from her chest, seen her body twitch and twitch until it went oh so very still. Had seen his cousin stabbed through the chest, being dragged and flung around like a puppet before his blood had rained down upon you all from where the Xenomorph had taken him, his screams falling to choked whimpers that were more nauseating than the stabbing itself. Had seen Kay, sweet Kay, be impaled through her shoulder, had witnessed her taking th compound, giving birth in a spray of blood and gore to the creature that had stolen her life.
Her baby.
His baby.
It's not hard to realise who the "asshole" father of her child is, not when he's sobbing and clutching onto her corpse as if it alone will bring her back.
It should surprise you. But it doesn't.
They'd always been close, having met before Tyler's father had adopted her when she was 8.
They should have raised their baby together on Yvaga, a sweet young couple with their cute baby. You imagine it having Kay's curls, her warmth, Bjorn's eyes, his cheeky grin.
But no. There are no happy endings to be found here.
"Bjorn," you speak up, for the first time in hours. His eyes don't leave Kay. Your voice cracks. "Bjorn, you have to let her go."
"No."
It's said so simply, so matter of fact, as if he can't fathom such a thing.
"She's dead-"
"I fuckin' know," he snaps back, icy eyes meeting yours. "I know! She's-" a shaky exhale, more of a shudder than anything else, as he leans down, touching his forehead to Kay's, as he rocks her back and forth for a moment. "I know." he repeats, hoarse, almost childlike.
You fall silent again, giving him time to process, to grieve her, to grieve all of them.
He finally exhales sometime later, a sigh of anguish, as he presses a kiss to her forehead, as his lips linger on her skin for the last time. "I love you," you hear him murmur into the crown of her hair, he lets out a sob. "Alright? I love you. It's always, always been you."
And with that, he leans back, hands shakily unclasping her necklace and pocketing it.
His red rimmed eyes meet yours, and he nods firmly. You raise on shaky legs and move over to him, helping him gently move Kay to the floor.
"Rain's dead." you inform him, blandly, your stomach still churning with the horror of it all.
"Wondered where she'd fucked off to." he remarks as you stand side by side, your fingers brushing against one another's.
"Andy's dead too." you add, and he remains silent, jaw clenching. "Processors just... stopped, I think, after Rain..."
"His prime directive failed." Bjorn says, slowly, after a moment, eyes landing on Andy's still form in the corridor, the milky white of his blood having pooled down into the grates. "He shut down once he knew about Rain."
You scrub a hand down your bloody face (Tyler's, you think), and sigh.
What a fucking mess it all is.
/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
You both fall into silence once more.
Kay and Andy's bodies are gone. You'd wrapped them both in the blankets Kay had brought along with her, ones she'd hoped to use for the baby.
Bjorn had looked close to throwing up at the sight of them, and had promptly suggested using those in place of any other materials you may find useful.
The bodies had been wrapped in the blankets, soft, pretty things, so unlike the harshness of Jackson. Neither of you had said anything as you'd pressed the button to open the airlock, watching the bodies disappear into deep space.
You cling tight to each others hands, staring at the now closed airlock.
Tyler would say something heartfelt, something moving, would make you laugh through the pain of it all.
But Tyler is dead too.
You are all that remains, you and Bjorn.
"...the course is all set for Yvaga." You inform him, quietly, and he nods.
"Right."
"We should... probably start figuring out what to do."
"Right."
"Bjorn-" your voice cracking is what prompts him to finally look at you. "-don't. Don't do that. Don't disappear."
You wouldn't be able to bear it. Watching Bjorn-- Bjorn who was so full of life, always cracking a joke or a quip, always rolling his eyes and cheekily grinning, who always had something to say no matter what-- fade and fade into a shell of himself.
"Why shouldn't I?" he asks, oh so broken, so unlike the man he is. "Give me one good fuckin' reason-"
"I can't lose you too," you whisper, shattered, fingers tightening around his. "It's selfish, I know, but you're- I just can't lose someone else, okay?"
It sends him into silence again, his fingers tightening around yours to the point of near pain. You don't mind it. Keeps you grounded, reminds you that you're not alone. That, despite it all, despite the horrors you had faced, you're alive, and you're not alone.
"So, what do we do about these fuckin' cryopods, then? Could use a sleep after all that." he lets go, turning to face the pods, scratching at the stubble on his cheek.
You take one last look at the airlock before joining him.
/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
You argue over who goes in first. In the end, Bjorn wins, and it's purely because you recognise the tightness of his shoulders, the panic in his eyes.
He wanted you to go in first because of what had happened to Kay.
Logically, it's silly, and you both realise this. You're not pregnant, nor have you taken the compound. But the last time he'd watched someone go in...
You get it completely.
"You promise you'll get into a pod right away?" you ask, down to your tank top and underwear, your ruined clothes having been immediately shoved into the garbage shute.
"Got a few things to finish up, first." he says, down to his boxers and a fresh t-shirt, Kay's necklace now around his neck. "Gonna clean the place up a bit, so we don't wake up to..."
You nod, rubbing the back of your neck. "Don't do anything stupid while I'm out, okay?"
"Oh, fuckin' charmin' one you are, love," he bites back, rolling his eyes. "Bloke offers to clean the place and you imply he's thick or summit. S'why you're single."
You can't help but smile. You'd take the insults over the silence any day.
"Mean it though, Bjorn. You finish up with that, then you get right into a pod."
"Fuckin' christ, alright, mum."
You look at each other a moment, your hands teaching out and finding each others, all without taking your eyes off of one another.
"You ready?" he asks you, fingers clutching yours tight. His palm is clammy, his fingers calloused from working the mines from the age of sixteen.
"No." You say, quite honestly, leaning your head against your joined hands for a moment, your breath leaving you in disjointed bursts. Bjorn crouches by the pod, tipping his head forward to lean against yours, his other hand coming up to stroke theough your hair.
"You've gotta lay back, love," he murmurs, eyes shut tight and voice shaky. "C'mon, the next nine years are gonna be gone in the blink of an eye, and we're gonna get to Yvaga and..." he trails off, as the realisation that his plans haven't panned out the way he'd expected. He swallows, hard, pressing a kiss to your head. "We figure out how the fuck to live again, alright? Maybe get drunk, too."
You bark out a little laugh, letting go of his hand and laying back in your pod. "Could use some beer after all of this."
"I have fuckin' incredible ideas, don't I?" he grins, just a little, moving to the end of the pod.
You look at each other for a moment, before you nod. Bjorn presses a few buttons on the screen and with a hiss, your pod starts to close.
His solemn eyes are the last thing you see before sleep claims you.
