As you approach Navarro's chair, you catch a glimpse of her head peeking out from behind the backrest. Sneaking up behind her, you wrap your arms around her and plant a soft kiss on her cheek.

Your fingers glide over her head, feeling the short prickly hairs of her buzzcut tickle your palm. She lets out a contented hum and squeezes one of your arms before returning to the controls.

You nuzzle into the crook of her neck, peppering it with light kisses.

Navarro lets out light chuckles at the ticklish sensation, before she narrows her eyes at you with amusement. “What are you doin’?”

You simply shrug and press your lips against her neck again, finding a sensitive spot that makes her gasp.

A wet sound echoes in the room as you break away from her neck and give her cheek another kiss. Your voice is a mumble, “Nothin’, just love you.”

She scoffs out a small laugh, rolling her neck towards you, grin on her pretty face, “I love you too baby, but I know you and you get all sweet and touchy when you want somethin’”

Loosening your grip around her, you push away slightly to give her a pointed look. Your lips purse together in an attempt to hide a smile as you speak. “That is not true.”

Navarro lets go of the controls and swivels her chair to face you, grasping onto your thighs and pulling you onto her lap. You sit up straight, fiddling with the necklace around her neck. Staring at your fidgeting fingers, you watch her in your peripheral. She observes you with narrowed eyes.

Letting out a sigh, she wraps her arms loosely around your hips and plays with the hem of your shirt. With a knowing tone, Navarro brings your eyes up to hers, “Is this about the ship? About you wanting to touch everything?”

Lifting your chin and giving her a small smile, you reply, “Aaaand what if it is?”

Rolling her eyes with a small grin, Navarro leans back in her chair. "I told you I'd teach you eventually, but I've been busy," she explains. "Do the flashing buttons satisfy some part of your ADHD brain?" she teases, not unkindly.

Letting out a frustrated groan, you throw your head back. “Oh, come on dude, please. We’re right here, you can show me now.”

Fluttering your eyelashes and pouting in an exaggerated manner, you plead, “Please. Pretty please, baby. Can I touch the buttons?”

Navarro chuckles, shaking her head at you. "You're impossible, you know that?" She sighs, but there's a fond smile playing on her lips. "Alright, alright… I guess teaching you won't hurt. You know…Unless you fuck us, and then it does, in fact, end up hurting us."

You scoff and roll your eyes, responding with a sarcastic laugh before your expression transforms into one of pure joy. Navarro softly pushes you off her lap, standing up and guiding you towards the pilot's seat with a gentle hand on your back.

"Okay, sit down," she instructs, and you eagerly comply. Navarro leans over you, her chest pressed against your back as she points to various controls on the panel before you. "Now, pay attention. This isn't a toy."

You nod enthusiastically, drinking in every word as Navarro begins to explain the basics. Her voice is low and soothing in your ear as she describes the function of each button and lever.

You can feel her warmth bleed into your shoulder as she leans over you. “You got that baby?”

Biting your lip, you give her a hesitant nod. In response, she gives your cheek a kiss. Her voice is low and soothing. “I’ll be right here the entire time baby. I was teasing earlier. Kind of. If something goes wrong, I can fix it.”

With a heavy breath, you give her a quick kiss and keep your lips pressed to hers as you mumble, “Thank you. You’re so fucking hot. I love you.”

Navarro laughs and nudges your head with hers before she steps away.

"Alright, hotshot," Navarro says with a smirk. "Let's see what you've learned. Start with the basics - power up the main thrusters."

You take a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness as your hands hover over the controls. Navarro's presence behind you is reassuring, but you can't help but feel the weight of responsibility. You glance back at Navarro, who gives you an encouraging nod.

Taking a deep breath, you flip the switch to engage the thrusters. A low hum fills the cockpit as the engines come to life. Pressing a series of buttons, you bite your lip to restrain your giddiness.

"Good," Navarro praises. "Now, ease the throttle forward. Gently."

You grasp the throttle, feeling the vibrations through your palm. Slowly, you push it forward. The ship lurches slightly, and you tense.

"It's okay," Navarro soothes, placing a steadying hand on your shoulder. "That's normal. Keep going.”

"Whoa," you breathe, a grin spreading across your face.

Navarro chuckles. "Not bad. Now, try adjusting our course slightly. Use the joystick on your right."

As your hand reaches for the joystick, you feel a familiar warmth next to you. It's Navarro, her body pressed against yours as she guides your hand to tilt the joystick slightly to the left. Her voice whispers in your ear, "Good girl, baby. Now set it on autopilot."

Your breath hitches and your face flushes as you quickly press the autopilot button.

Turning to Navarro, she meets you with a passionate kiss and your arms wrap tightly around each other. Detaching from her soft lips, you mumble, "I like when you tell me what to do."

Navarro chuckles, her eyes sparkling with affection. "I like telling you what to do... sometimes. We'll save more lessons for later, but you did really good, baby.” You can't help but grin at her words.

Feeling emboldened by her praise, you perk up in her arms. "Maybe one day I'll be even better than you."

Scoffing playfully, Navarro shakes her head. But before she can respond, you continue teasingly, “But seriously, you look incredibly hot while piloting this ship. I'd hate to ruin that by making you a passenger princess.”

She responds by pulling you in for another kiss, laughter rumbling in her chest.

The smile on each of your faces don’t fade as you continue to tease and hold each other.

Death order predictions for Alien Romulus:

1) Navarro: we already know they get chestburster-ed

2) Bjorn: maybe gets torn up by the Navarro-Xenomorph

3) Kay

4) Tyler

5) Andy: maybe a heroic sacrifice?

6) Rain Carradine: I’m actually 50/50 here. I don’t know why but I got the vibe of a horror movie where no one lives, especially since this is set before “Aliens”. Either we get -

a. happy ending and she gets rescued by Amanda Ripley

b. happy ending because she got away on her own

c. bittersweet ending since she gets rescued, only for it to be revealed her rescuers are Weyland-Yutani (which works as a retcon in “Aliens” as to why Carter Burke was sent to recover the alien eggs despite the company not believing Ripley’s story, it’s because another survivor told them a similar story)

d. she gets rescued, but is revealed to be impregnated by the last chestburster

e. sacrifices herself to destroy the ship

I read a post somewhere that the three main ladies in Alien Romulus all have different style of haircuts that Ripley had throughout the Alien films.

Kay has long curly hair like Ripley did in Alien.

Navarro has a shaved head like Ripley did in Alien 3.

Rain has short straight/wavy hair like the Ripley clone 8 had in Alien: Resurrection.

I thought that was cool.
