Weyler fluff idea: Wednesday doesn’t know how to show Tyler that she wants to hold hands, be kissed etc. And it’s not that Tyler doesn’t want to do that but it’s because he thinks Wednesday doesn’t like it that much but deep down she wants it (he respects her borders)
I had a lot of fun with this one.
It was a beautiful day, cloudy and gray with bits of rain here and there. The rain wasn’t so potent that it soaked clothes and hair, it was a perfect, infrequent sprinkle— Wednesday’s favorite type of weather.
She and Tyler sat shoulder-to-shoulder beneath a maple tree in the Jericho Cemetery. It had become one of their favorite places to go ever since he brought her to see his mother’s grave. Wednesday loved cemeteries her entire life— especially the family cemetery back home. They were creepy, quiet, and full of history and ghosts. She could always clear her mind among the headstones, new and old, and the smell of mown grass. And she found that dead people made great company.
But right now, her mind was far from clear. It was ruminating over something silly, something she could hardly admit. It clouded her usually confident and logical brain and left her feeling horrendously frail.
She couldn’t figure out how to hold Tyler’s hand— or really do anything else besides kiss him. It should be easy to do such a thing, all she has to do is grab his hand with hers and the rest should flow from there. But when? How? Can it be too abrupt? What if she takes his hand too roughly? Would it be weird? She didn’t usually care about people’s feelings like she did his— the hold this boy had on her was, at times, incredibly frustrating.
She still had no idea how she so abruptly kissed him that one time at the Weathervane, it was like some sort of love demon possessed her. Ever since then, when they kissed they leaned in simultaneously. And as strange as it was they’d kissed many times, usually when saying goodbye— but never held hands. Tyler respected her boundaries a little too much for her liking. It was sweet, his gentleness was endearing, but she wished he’d just grab her hand and make it easy, she knew he wanted to.
One time when they were driving in his car, their hands touched. Tyler had his right arm resting on the middle console when Wednesday dropped her pen on the floor of the passenger seat. When she leaned down to grab it she held onto the console for support, placing her hand near his. After leaning back in her seat, she noticed the close proximity of their pinky fingers, her heart jumped. She left her hand there in hopes he’d take the next step, her heart missed another beat when his own hand gravitated towards hers, hovering over it for a split-second— but then he stopped, quickly placing it on the wheel instead. It was terrible, bad terrible.
Tyler’s voice yanked her from her thoughts, “Are you good? You’re real quiet.”
“Yes, I am fine. I’m just thinking.”
“About?”
What was she supposed to say? “About holding your hand, I’d like to hold your hand.”?? Well, that’s exactly what she’d say, but she couldn’t— it was like her mouth was a venus fly trap, and the words were but a helpless arachnid struggling to escape its marginal spikes.
Tyler furrowed his brows while she wordlessly stared at him.
“About… Just about— My homework assignment. I must finish it later.”
“You told me you didn’t have any homework?”
God damnit, Tyler.
He studied her with his eyes, tilting his head to the side, “You can tell me anything, you know.”
She did know that, although telling him things was something she greatly struggled with. She wasn’t very good at talking about her feelings, in fact she was absolutely horrible at it. She was good at many difficult things— cello, fencing, lock-picking, martial arts, and archery to name a few— but she wasn’t good at being social. She couldn’t even tell her own boyfriend she wanted to hold his hand. Pathetic.
“I’ve been thinking… That I want… I’d like,” her face felt hot.
He seemed amused by how flustered she was, a smile was creeping on his lips. She looked down at his hands; large, warm, and resting in his lap. She wanted to grab one— No, she was going to. There was no going back, she’d been staring at them for far too long as Tyler grew increasingly confused.
Impulsively, she grabbed his wrist, pulling his arm from his lap, and put her palm under his. Just as she hypothesized, the rest of it flowed from there. He chuckled and laced his big, warm fingers through her smaller, colder ones. It felt just as she’d imagined it, but better, his hand enveloped hers like a warm blanket— or, even better, a toasty straight jacket.
He gently stroked the back of her hand with his thumb, and she gave into her urge to explore the skin of his hand. With her free fingers, she traced his smooth knuckles and a scar on his dorsal side from the fight with Enid months before. His hands were soft but sturdy, there was a mole on the knuckle of his thumb and another on his ring finger, his nails were freshly trimmed.
“So, this was what you were thinking about?” He smiled cheekily.
The corners of her lips turned upward a little, “Yes.”
“I would have done this already if I thought you’d like it.”
“You didn’t think I would?”
“No, I’ve been under the impression that you don’t like being touched.”
“I like being touched by you.”
He grinned, “Noted.”
Wednesday leaned further into Tyler, pressing their hips and shoulders firmly together, and rested her head on him. He placed his head atop of hers and gave her hand a squeeze. Soon, the sky darkened as evening approached, so they drove back to Nevermore.
Before departing to their respective dorms, Wednesday kissed Tyler. For the first time ever, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer. She didn’t understand how kissing felt so drastically better with something as seemingly miniscule as his arms around her back, but it did. The kiss felt much more intimate with their bodies pressed together— she wondered if she closed her eyes long enough if she’d be able to tell where her body ended and his started.
“Keep doing that when we kiss.” She asked when they pulled apart.
“I will.”
Wednesday entered her dorm feeling like a weight was lifted off of her chest. Holding hands was easier than she thought and she felt foolish for being so bent up over it. Her anxiety subsided, she was pleased to find that initiating touch wasn’t so bad at all. Tyler wanted it just as badly as she did.
And, of course, Enid immediately noticed something was different about Wednesday.
“You’re nearly smiling. What happened?” She blurted out.
She couldn’t hide anything from that girl.

Could I request a fluffy (maybe smut after if you’re up for it, if not that’s okay!) Tyler Galpin x reader where they both go to the same school and are in a theater production with the 2 lead roles? I’m not sure what musicals you’ve watched but preferably a romance one. They rehearse so much together they end up dating and confessing after they do an onstage kiss 🥺
Tumblr media
Pairing: Tyler Galpin x Fem! reader
summary: you and Tyler have the two lead roles in Mouline rouge and you inevitably start feeling things for each other.
warnings: none
A lot
Your heart was beating so fast you could feel the thumps in your eardrums. You heard someone call out your name but you didn't stop as you continued running. Floods of people were coming your way and you kept bumping into them. You were definitely gonna gave some bruises tomorrow but you couldn't think about it now. It was 3:30 and you were supposed to be there 15 minutes ago. If only Alice hadn't started vomiting words without a break you would have maybe remembered to look at a clock. but she had, and you hadn't, and your legs and your very not-used-to-it lungs were damning you for it right about now. You finally turned right at the end of the hallway and you thanked every existing being as you caught a glimpse of the theatre's doors. Those laminated pea-green doors had never looked more beautiful as you finally reached them. You ran through them so fast you almost fell, but you didn't, instead, you stabilized yourself and freezed at the entrance, your eyes shutting close as you braced yourself for the scolding inevitably coming your way. You could already see Mr. Hanrl's wrinkles deepening as he squinted at you with those creepy black eyes, threatening to throw you out of the play if you arrived late one more time. And you could already see yourself apologizing and walking head-down backstage while desperately trying not to laugh at his incredibly squeaky voice. So it was a surprise when instead of "I can't believe you arrived late again" you heard another voice, a much deeper and warm one ask "what are you doing?" Your eyes snatched open and they widened incredibly as you saw Tyler looking at you confusedly from the stage. The room fell silent and you felt drowned by the absolute absence of sound. God this was stupid. He was still looking at you, an amused smile on his face. "I" you couldn't help but laugh "I was waiting for Mr. Hanrl to yell at me" you smiled, as you gestured to what you now noticed empty seat, where he sat for every rehearsal. "Wait why isn't he there?" you looked around, taking in the completely empty room "wait" you gasped incredulously "did I arrive early?" He laughed softly, the sweet sound traveling through the distance between you straight to your ears. "no" he smiled "not at all" you frowned "Rehearsal was canceled" "oh" your eyes widened "but then-why are you here?" he scratched his neck "I didn't get the message, and from the look of it " he gestured towards you "you didn't either" You smiled "No, I definitely didn't" silence again "so" you cleared your throat "I guess I'll go then" your pressed your lips together in an awkward grimace "It was- It was nice seeing you" "Oh" he said, almost disappointed "Y-yeah it was nice seeing you too" You tried to examine his face when you heard his tone dropping, but you didn't gather that much information to actually come to any type of conclusion. You waved hastily before turning around "wait y/n" you turned back around "we could-" he paused a moment "we could rehearse together" he bit his lip "you know, since no one is here and- and we have the whole theatre at our disposal " he started speaking fast "and we're the main characters and have so many scenes together" he was rambling, and your chest warmed "I think it would be good, no?" he caught his breath. You tried not to laugh. You didn't want him to think you were making fun of him, even if you sort of were. "Yes, it's a good idea Tyler" Oh how he loved when you said his name, it rolled off your tongue so easily, smooth like silk. He could listen to it forever. "great" he said, as you walked up to the stage. You were right in front of him "uhh" you hummed, rummaging through your bag "what scene should we do?" you said, finally finding the script. "well, last time we didn't get to finish the dressing room one" "Oh right" you smiled "that's a fun one " "it is" he agreed, reciprocating. "so we stopped just before you sang the last part of the song right?" "right" he nodded, as you did the same "so" he raised his eyebrows "I guess I'll start" You laughed softly "yeah, that seems about right" This was more awkward than you'd expected. he took some steps away, glancing at you amusedly one last time before clearing his throat. He started singing, and your mouth immediately turned upright. His voice was so smooth and low when he sang, it could fill the whole room the moment he opened his mouth. he was amazing, you had always thought it. Since the first rehearsal, he stood out. He was talented, and funny, and a great actor and- cute, god he was cute. It was hard at first to pretend you weren't fascinated by him, and you would still catch yourself sometimes staring at him a bit too long to be acceptable, but you got better. You could have a full conversation with him now, and as of lately you had been doing that a lot. Before rehearsal, after rehearsal, yesterday when he saw you in the hallway, and the day before at lunch. You had started to talk. A lot. And you absolutely loved it, he was so funny that at times you had to cover his mouth to make him stop. And he was clever, god he was clever. And not like, I can do math clever, no, he actually was smart, real-life smart. he knew what was going on around the world and knew how to engage in a conversation bout it, he knew about poetry, about books, and even if his favorite film was fight club (which normally would have been a huge red flag, if it wasn't for the fact he was the first man on earth to actually understand the meaning behind it) he still had great taste in them. And so talking to him came easily, and you started to enjoy it more and more as time passed. But now, now it wasn't easy. And you couldn't understand why. It was never awkward between you two, it was everything but. And as you started relieving all those encounters, all those times you had talked and talked and then talked some more, at times risking arriving late to class, you realized the common denominator. You were never alone. Other people were there, even if they weren't with you they were still present, they were in the hallway, in the canteen, on stage, there was always someone. And now it was just you, and him, sole. You didn't know why, I mean, it shouldn't have, but it did, it made sense. Being alone meant having no way out, no easy excuse, being alone meant privacy, and privacy meant having possibilities, chances, chances to do the things you stopped yourself from thinking of, from dreaming of, because there was no point, in deluding yourself of something when you knew it wouldn't happen. But it was hard, just knowing that those thoughts had been there at some point, it was hard pretending they hadn't. He was still singing, you noticed, as you awakened, and also closer to you. when had that happened? You just hoped you didn't look like an immobilized zombie all this time. he was smiling, like he was supposed to, and shit- you realized you were also meant to be doing the same. Right, you were rehearsing. Your expression changed, as you at least tried to get into the part. You were Satine, and Satine definitely didn't get distracted by a guy with a pretty voice. oh but she did. God, you were so fucked. He had walked up to right in front of you, and he put his arms on your waist as the song was about to end. His touch was warm, even if it was just against the t-shirt you were wearing, it still felt like he was touching your raw skin, burning it with his hands. You whimpered involuntarily, and hoped to god, or anyone listening that he hadn't heard. The slight sparkle in his eyes made you think otherwise. shit. his mouth closed into the happiest of smiles,( because he was a good actor, not because he was actually that happy to be close to you) as the song ended. You were inches apart, like you were supposed to be, like the script said, and your brain was buzzing and melting slowly and your heart was beating fast and you really fucking hated yourself. just be normal. my god. It shouldn't be that hard. He's just a boy. A normal, stupid, hot, funny, and clever boy. fuck He was still silent and your cheeks reddened as you realized you were supposed to say your line. "oh I can't believe it.  I'm in love" you paused for dramatic effect, and also, maybe, just maybe to catch your very weak breath "I'm in love with a young, handsome, talented duke" you breathed out incredulously. His eyes fell to your lips and you noticed how it also took him a moment to realize it was his turn. "duke?" he frowned, confused You laughed softly and his eyes glanced at your mouth again. Was he doing it on purpose? Was he that good of an actor? He must have been. "Not that the title is important, of course" There was something in his eyes- you'd never seen him like this"I'm not a duke" Your mind was completely somewhere else, but you could still somehow remember the lines "not a duke?" you said unconvincingly, and you felt like he wasn't there anymore, Tyler was there physically, but he wasn't the one holding you, talking to you. He stepped even closer to you, your two bodies now so close you could feel him, his warmth, his scent, everything. "I'm-" his eyes fell to your mouth again, and you really wished he would just lean in and kiss it "I'm," he said again, obviously distracted. This wasn't part of it. You knew. You glanced at him, and he met your eyes, a sparkle traveling between them, an understanding, a message, going from him to you. Everything suddenly fell silent and you began being very aware of your own breathing, your lungs inflating and deflating fast as you felt anxious, for what you didn't know, you just were. He smiled softly, looking straight at you and you swore your stomach dissolved. Was this really about to happen? Or were you imagining things? It was all so confusing All your doubts disappeared once he did it, he started leaning in. Not because of the script not because of the play but because he wanted to he wanted to kiss you You tilted your head to the left, granting him access and you could feel his lips, his beautiful pretty lips graze yours when the bell rang. he stopped so did you. You didn't want to look at him, he had regretted it it was fine it was a mistake you understood you took a step back, looking at the floor "I-I gotta go"
time passed and you never talked about that evening again. You remained friends, just as before. The day after he still sat at your table for lunch. You remember how scared you were. But then he started talking, and joking, and after the first 10 minutes, all was forgotten. Everything was fine, nothing happened, so nothing had to be weird. It made sense. That of course didn't mean your mind didn't travel back to it at times. For as much as you tried to stop it, the feeling of being so close to him always came back to you, and with that, questions. Questions like what would have happened if the bell hadn't rung, if you hadn't run away, or if he hadn't stopped. questions you were never gonna know the answer to.
"God I'm nervous" you sighed, as you sipped from your water bottle
"why?" he frowned "what do you mean why?" your eyes widened "the show's tomorrow" He laughed softly at your nervousness "you have nothing to worry about" he said, turning towards you "you're amazing y/n, you know that" he smiled "You're the best singer here" he continued " and not to mention actress" he chuckled "I mean, You knew all your lines on the first day" "you're gonna make me blush" you said like he already hadn't. "well maybe I like seeing you blush" You held your breath "you're an asshole" you rolled your eyes playfully He laughed, genuinely, wholeheartedly "I'm sorry" he smiled "if you want to we could run our lines some more" your heart fluttered, flashbacks from last time passing through your mind. "i-Uhh, sure" he smiled, like he knew, like he had just thought the same thing, because he had. "alright" he sat down on the stage, and you followed his lead. You had rehearsed for hours, you were tired. "so what's your least favorite scene?" he asked you were confused "what do you mean?" "Usually your least favorite scene is the one you need to practice more" he explained " y'know, because you don't like it, and your mind subconsciously tells you that it's ok to fuck it up" You frowned, as you smiled "and who said that" "I did" You laughed "oh well, then we're in great hands" "hey!" he feigned shock "it has always worked for me" "ok" you shook your head "so what's that scene for this play?" He thought for a moment "I think the balcony one is pretty tough" Your mouth slacked open in pretend offense "so the one you have to kiss me in" He laughed "Oh" he shook his head"not because of that" he said "definitely, not because of that" he glanced at you "you know that" definitely? "I did not know that" "well" he chuckled "now you do" "ok, so if it isn't because of my aberring mouth" you raised your eyebrows "then what is it for?" He grinned "the songs are difficult, and I have to be careful not to sing over you" You shrugged " you've never done that" "I know, but I could" "you wanna rehearse that one then?" you asked he raised his eyebrow smugly "you're that desperate to kiss me?" yes, most definitely. You punched his shoulder playfully "oh shut up" you rolled your eyes "and it's not like we were gonna kiss anyway" "Why is that?" "We don't kiss in rehearsal, Tyler" "We could make an exception" he smirked "I mean, it would only be right if we tried it out once before doing it on stage, no?" Your cheeks were red. "I-" you swallowed nervously "If-If you believe so" "I just think it makes sense" "y-yea. It does" you smiled shyly, and you could see relief wash over his face. "all right then" he stood up, to get to the center of the stage "come here sweetheart" he said sarcastically, and you knew it was a joke, but that didn't stop your heart from speeding up at the pet name. "right away my love" you joked, walking up to him. You felt electric, dizzy almost as you stopped right in front of him. he was tall, and his hazel eyes were hypnotizing. he put his hands on your waist, and you didn't give yourself time to think about it before you put your arms around his neck. "ok" you breathed out shakily "you have to say something before right?" he asked "oh right" you laughed softly, taking a moment to remember what it was you were supposed to say. Ok, you got it You looked at him "you're gonna be bad for business, I can tell" you said and he smiled, before he leaned in, placing his lips on yours. You felt so light you would have flown away if it wasn't for his hands keeping you grounded. And he felt right, like he was finally sure. He leaned away, and both of you smiled. "Well I think we're good at this part" he said "yup" you smiled, taking your arms off of him to take a step back. Something in his face changed when you did, what looked like uncertainty glanced into his eyes. "We're ready for tomorrow then" you smiled, to relieve some tension. "absolutely" he agreed
the red and blue lights were emerging from every direction and you felt like you were in a dream as you sang with him, with Tyler. The soft music resonating in the theatre, mixing heavenly with your voices. he walked up to you, in the same place he had been in yesterday, and as you sang together the last lines you felt your body warm, at that indescribable feeling. "you're gonna be bad for business, I can tell" you said, your voice echoing in the room, before he kissed you. Little shivers traveled down your spine, as the contact took your breath away. You weren't supposed to feel that way for a fake kiss, you knew. Just like he knew. The curtains closed as the music reached its climax and you leaned away, breathing heavily. You smiled once you noticed some of your lipstick on his lips. "we were great" you couldn't help but hug him. You knew it was the end of the first act, and that you were supposed to rush backstage to change, but you wanted to feel close to him, you needed to. "you're amazing y/n" he stroked your hair "I never doubted we were gonna be" You looked up at him, your chin against his chest "thank you" you said sincerely, tightening your hug. " I should go change" you said "me too" none of you moved "I-" you were about to let him go when he stopped you. "y/n" he said, the light illuminating only the left side of his face "I-" he took a deep breath, and you frowned "y/n I've been wanting to tell you this for the longest time" there was so much fear in his eyes "I really wanted to, but- but I was scared and-" he chuckled " and you made me so fucking nervous" you smiled too now "but- but now I have to, because if I don't I'm scared I never will" his pupils were scanning frantically your whole face "y/n I like you" he smiled anxiously "I like you, like- a lot" Your face lit up, as your body shut down. He had said it He had said it for real. "Tyler" you murmured "I like you too" you smiled "a lot"

She wasn’t supposed to have been there. That’s all Tyler could think in this moment. She had told him she’d be home for the evening, that she didn’t feel well. Of course Tyler knew of Y/n’s appreciation of a “good nighttime walk” to use her words, how could he not. That is why it was so crucial he knew where she was at all times after all, so he could avoid this exact situation.
Tyler hadn’t known a life without Y/n in years, he couldn’t even figure out what the shape of a life like that would be. They had met in first grade. It hadn’t been an easy friendship, Y/n had fought hard for it. Tyler still felt guilty about how the first time they met, he pushed her out of her chair and onto the floor. All she had wanted to do was make a new friend, not be the new kid outcast anymore.
No matter what he had seemed to do, she always stuck around. It didn’t matter if he threw her lunch at her or stole her books, tripped her in the hall or ignored her while she called after him, she always came back. He still didn’t understand it. Her persistence was something he found so lovely.
At last, he had given into her requests after a screaming match they’d had on the playground where he had asked Y/n why she wouldn’t leave him alone and she had lost it. Her fury had moved like liquid through her, spouting from her mouth, kicking up a storm. That was something else he found to be so lovely about her. That rage of hers was so unique, he’d never felt anything like it.
Side by side they had made it through everything together or, well, almost everything. Laurel had given Tyler permission to protect Y/n, keep her out of harms way, made promises of letting him have her once their business was done. He was not however permitted to cute Y/n into his situation.
So Tyler had taken to being more attentive, keeping tabs on the girl at all times. He claimed it was for her safety and, in a way, he was telling the truth. He made up stories he’d ‘heard’ about a spree of kidnappings across Vermont the police had been keeping quiet. He said his father had told him and that’s why he knew, that the killer tended to pick victims out that looked just like her.
She was so easy to bend to his will, this was more of an amusement for him. Tyler couldn’t lie, the deception, the manipulation, gave him a certain thrill.
Quickly, he shifted back into his human form and fell to the ground beside the dying girl. He hadn’t been aiming for her, he’d been aiming for the hiker but the hiker had ran and as Tyler had cut him down, Y/n had appeared out of nowhere. She had gotten caught in the crossfire.
Now here she lay, Tyler holding her intestines into her stomach as her chest heaved and tears filtered from her lovely eyes. And still, she gazed at him with that same affection, as if she didn’t know, as if she didn’t care.
“T-Tyl-ler” she stuttered out, trying and failing to lift a hand to his face.
“sh sh sh, save your breath.” Tyler pleaded, “oh god Y/n, oh god….”
He kept trying, though in vain, to push her insides back in. Y/n jerkily lifted her hand again and tapped his arm. The movement was jolted and repeated and horribly wrong.
“Ty-le-er” she tried again.
He looked down at her, spitting up and covered in her own blood. In a sick and twisted way, one could have said she looked lovely like that.
“I am so sorry.” he said at last, the tears that had been resting in the corners of his eyes falling at last, “I am so sorry”
“I need y-you to kn-know someth-thi-ng” Y/n spluttered out, her words having too little breath behind them and coming out stunted.
“What is it?” asked Tyler leaning in closer as he still held his hands to her stomach.
“T-Ty, I th-think-k I’m gonna d-die”
Tyler could have laughed.
“You think?” he said sarcastically, unable to hold it back and regretting it immediately.
Tyler could have sworn that the guttural and cracked sound that came from the girl next was a laugh.
“I love you Tyler.” she said, almost entirely clearly before her head tilted to the side and she fell limp.
Tyler was worried he wouldn’t be able to make it to the hospital in time. He had thrown on the clothes he had hidden near by and ran all the way to the nearest hospital, carrying Y/n’s limp body in his arms. It was if her words had unlocked something caged within him, something he’d locked up deep down inside.
I love you Tyler
Y/n has actively picked those to be her last words, that have to have meant something. When he got to the emergency room at last, she had already been unconscious for twenty minutes. As he had run, Tyler had begun to feel her body grow cold. He had tried his best not to think about it as he knew he wouldn’t be able to continue if he did.
He had made up some bullshit story about how he’d been for a walk and found her and another man he didn’t know like this. When he asked why he only brought Y/n, he answered that the other man was already dead while Y/n had been conscious when he’d first arrived. It wasn’t all entirely untrue. The best lies are always in some way close to the truth.
The doctors, miracle workers that they are, had quite literally brought her back to life before his very eyes but she was in a coma. Tyler had spent every moment he could in her hospital room, but she’d been asleep for weeks now. He was beginning to lose hope.
When he had gotten the call telling him she was awake, he was at work. Y/n had been asleep for so long, he had had to go back otherwise he would have been fired. He saw Wednesday beckoning him over from a nearby booth as he softly spoke to the doctors.
“She keeps asking for you.” the doctor sighed, exhaustion evident in their voice.
“I will be there as soon as I can.”
“Tyler?” she asked as he stepped into the room, her voice small.
“I am so glad you’re awake.” he responded, shutting the door and taking the seat next to her bed, “I thought I’d lost you Y/n”
“I thought I’d lost me too.” she chuckled and the pair fell back into silence again.
“What do you remember?” Tyler asked at last and Y/n shrugged.
“Honestly? not much.”
“Not even who attacked you?”
Y/n shook her head and Tyler felt himself relax.
“I remember you, that’s all. I remember you trying to, you know, keep my innards… in? and I remember… well…”
Her cheeks flushed pink and she looked away embarrassed.
“Anyways, I have a super gnarly scar now across my stomach. So that’s fun.” said Y/n, clearly trying to change the subject.
Tyler turned her head back towards him, lifting her chin with his hand.
“Hey.” he said and then went quiet, he never thought he’d get to see those eyes open again.
“hey..?” questioned Y/n, shaking him out of his thoughts.
Tyler said nothing, simply leaned forward and kissed her. He’d had a lot of time to think while Y/n had been asleep, a lot of time to realize that maybe that warm fuzzy feeling and those butterflies he got and the way he saw her wasn’t exactly normal for someone who was just friends. A lot of time to realize that that platonic type of love they’d always talked about having for one another, maybe wasn’t the right classification. The kiss confirmed it all.
Y/n looked dumbstruck, her eyes wide and mouth slightly open.
“I am sorry.” Tyler exclaimed, forcing his cheeks to go red and pretending as if he didn’t know exactly what he was doing, “i am so sorry, I really don’t know what came over me, I can leave if you want?”
Y/n shut her mouth and shook her head slowly before leaning forward and giving him a slight peck on the lips.
Tyler smiled. Sure, he had her right where he wanted her, all trusting and soft before him but what if she was really the one in charge? The thought was gonna as soon as it came. He didn’t care. This felt right, more right than anything else had. In that moment they both knew.

Don't Hyde From Me (ch17. Two Birds)
youtube
When the two of them got back home, Tyler was quick to start the bath- knowing how to make it perfect while Hoa stumbled and fell onto the bed, muttering about how her body was sore and in pain. Tyler chuckled silently to himself as he got the water at the right temperature, making sure to plop a bath bomb into the bubble filled tub before going to fetch the girl.
“I wasn’t too rough with you,” Tyler sat beside her, “was I?” His puppy eyes bore a hole through her entire being, her heart fluttered as she looked into his shiny emerald eyes- they were almost too pretty to be real- she gently placed a hand on his cheek and smiled softly as she shook her head before kissing him ever so sweetly.
Tumblr media
“I’m alright, love,” she hummed as she stroked his cheek with her thumb, “I’m stronger than I look.” Tyler closed his eyes in bliss before he picked her up and carried her to the bathroom, setting her on the sinktop and helping the girl undress. Hoa pressed her forehead against his chest, he was warm. Once she was plopped into the tub the boy shortly joined her, the water was warm and sleep was pulling them in. This time Hoa was the one scrubbing the dirt and grime off of Tyler’s shoulders. Humming that faint tune, he was curious as to what the song was called- to be quite honest, even Hoa didn’t remember the name of the song. Nor did she remember the lyrics, only the tune and the way her mother and father would sing it to her and Quan when they were little.
Two birds on a wire.
“Hoa?” Tyler’s voice came out as a whisper, “Do you love me?”
“Yes,” Hoa responded, almost hurt by his question, “You know I do.”
One tries to fly away and the other watches him close from that wire.
“I love you too.” He smiled and leaned back, tilting his head up to gaze at her eyes. Black as obsidian, he felt himself getting lost in the warm pools of wonder, he felt safe with her and she felt safe with him.
He wants to as well but he is a liar.
Hoa was brave, something Tyler wasn’t and he envied that. She had the guts to do what had to be done even when she didn’t want to do it, she was stubborn- somehow he found a home in her, she was like a beacon of hope. When he was around her he felt at peace, the hyde felt at peace. The need to kill wasn’t as urgent or loud as it was before he met her, he knew he was a monster and a killer but for some strange reason she never saw him in that light. To her Tyler was warm, kind and gentle, he was innocent.
He felt like he didn’t have to yell just to be heard, she would listen to him regardless. He found something he could treasure, something tangible, and he wasn’t going to let it slip through his fingers.
I’ll believe it all, there’s nothing I won’t understand.
“You look very comfy there, Barista Boy.” Hoa smiled, the steam fogged up the mirror in the bathroom. The smell of lavender was thick and lulling the two into a sense of security as they sat there, soaking in the bubbles. Tyler hummed in response while Hoa traced tiny shapes in the suds and foam that covered his body, she massaged his shoulders as she hummed a different tune.
I’ll believe it all, I won’t let go of your hand.
Tyler sat up and directed the girl turn around so that he could wash all the sludge off her, she did as she was told; feeling the boy’s gentle and warm hands run over the length of her back. Feeling the bubbles slide off her skin as he scrubbed at every inch there was to scrub. Placing soft kisses on her back, the boy felt that he had gained something he had longed for, his heartbeat was steady and he felt all the rage that had been bottled up over the years just dissipate. The hatred he had felt for everyone at Nevermore just faded away.
Two birds on a wire.
“One says c’mon,” Hoa sang softly as the boy scrubbed her hair, “and the other says I’m tired.” There was something sad in her voice, something that conveyed she was almost on the verge of tears. Tyler pulled her close, he tried to read her thoughts but all he got was static- loud and cold static.
The sky’s overcast and I’m sorry.
“Hoa?” The boy rested his chin on her shoulder, only met with silence, “Princess?”
One more or one less, nobody’s worried.
“Tyler?” Hoa put a hand on his, squeezing gently as she started to shake, “Please don’t go.” The boy felt his heart drop as he heard her words. She was scared that everything they’d both worked for would just fall apart with a gentle breeze. Her eyes were laced with desperation and some kind of fear that would make you sad and scared to the point of bawling your eyes out. Behind her cold exterior there was a scared little girl, the Hoa that sat before him seemed different, as if this wasn’t his Hoa. It was as if she had seen a ghost, as if she had died years ago and all that was left was an empty shell.
Two birds of a feather
Say that they’re always gonna stay together.
Her eyes were empty, a stark contrast from how they were minutes earlier- bright and full of life. Tyler prayed and hoped that she would open up to him, tell him, cry, scream, anything. The silence was suffocating and he couldn’t escape for he loved her too much to run away.
But no one’s going to let go of that wire.
“He says that he will,” a tear fell from her eyes like moonlight, “but he is a liar…”
“Why are you doing this?” Tyler muttered under his breath, a wave of sadness hitting him like a tsunami, “Why won’t you tell me what’s wrong? What is going on inside here?” He brushed the girl's bangs away from her face as he gained no response. The water was getting cold by now, the two rinsed off in silence without another word- it was painful for Tyler to bear. Did he do something wrong? Once the two of them were clothed, Hoa groggily dragged Tyler to bed with her. Choking on his words, Tyler pulled his hand away from hers, “Why won’t you tell me what’s wrong?!”
Hoa stopped dead in her tracks, the boy’s words echoing and reverberating in her head. She only told him that it was getting late and they needed to sleep, bullshit. Tyler knew something was up and he wanted to get it off of her shoulders.
Two birds on a wire. One tries to fly away and the other
Watches him close from that wire
“He says he wants to as well but he is a liar…”Two birds on a wire, One tries to fly away and the other…

Pulling the covers off you, you swung your legs out of bed. Sitting up straight, clamping onto the bed, you needed a moment to process what you were feeling. Your brows furrowed hearing your stomach rumble about. Squeezing your stomach, you hoped to silence it. – “Am I that hungry?” – you asked yourself hearing another groan. Looking to the side, you checked what time it was. Nowhere near sunrise. Squeezing your stomach tighter at the pain, you barely could hold it. – “I’m getting food.” – you said out loud, getting out of bed.
You slipped into your comfy slippers as black as night. At a slow pace you made your way over to the door. Stomach making sounds so loud you were glad no one was around to hear it. It would be so embarrassing. It took you a lot of strength to move your feet about. Barely able to lift them. Toes dragging over the floor till you lifted them briefly up to set your heel down. Halfway the hall, you paused to catch your breath.
You stumbled a bit further, dragging yourself forwards. Suddenly the walls felt like closing in on you. Twisting and turning in a blur. No longer able to distinguish the floor from the ceiling. Gasping for air, you stumbled to the side. Grabbing the first thing in reach. A door handle. The door handle flipped down and up by your force. Body crashing against the door as you had lost your balance. It took you a second to shake yourself awake.
On the other end of the door shot Enid awake. Eyes wide with fear. – “Wednesday.” – she shout-whispered, pulling the covers more up. Wednesday groaned in her sleep pulling her covers over her head. – “Did… did you hear that Wednesday?” – Enid asked frightful. – “Go back to sleep Enid.” – Wednesday replied moody. – “But… but… I heard something… in the hallway.” – her lip trembled. – “Then go look.” – Wednesday’s voice muffled from coming under the sheets. – “What if it is the Hyde?” – she freaked out pulling the covers over her head to hide.
Wednesday groaned loud. – “If I hear you scream I’ll know.” – she replied grinning with her eyes closed. Enid huffed loud, pushing her covers down. – “I thought you’d love to explore if it was the Hyde?” – she called out making sure her voice remained quiet enough yet loud and clear to deliver the message. Wednesday slapped her covers off her, staring at the ceiling. – “It better be the Hyde or I’m feeding you to it myself!” – she said getting up in one swift motion.
Enid swallowed nervously moving her covers away as well. – “Now I hope it is not.” – she said. Wednesday grabbed a flashlight making her way to the door. Enid followed wanting to stay close. Wednesday opened the door without hesitation as Enid yelped. – “Do you want to get eaten?” – she asked. Enid shook her head. – “Then stop squealing like a faint girl.” – she made clear with a deep sigh.
Wednesday shone her flashlight down the hallway. Enid grabbed for her shoulder as her light fell upon a figure. Wednesday gave her a bitter expression that made her let go. Wednesday casted her light better on the person recognizing you out of a million. – “Disappointing.” – she said dull. – “It’s my sister.” – Wednesday turned around heading back to her room. – “Wait!” – Enid called out. – “Aren… aren’t you curious to what she is doing so late?” – Enid questioned.
Wednesday stared at her. – “For all I care she is summoning ghosts.” – she answered with little care. Enid took the flashlight from her roomie. – “Well I am going to investigate.” – Enid had set her mind to it. Wednesday didn’t reply to it, closing the door behind her. – “Fine! I’ll be alright on my own.” – Enid said to the door. Turning around nervous, she couldn’t deny she was a bit anxious. What if you were truly going to summon ghosts. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to witness that.
Swallowing her doubt down, she went on with shaky legs. – “Y/n.” – Enid whispered, her flashlight shuddering in her grip. The light bounced up and down. Too nervous to keep it steady. – “Y/n wait up.” – she called out when she was losing sight of you. Enid started running. Going down the stairs as you were already going down them. – “Y/n.” – Enid whispered seeing your hand slide against the wall for grip. – “Are you alright?”
Enid started to run faster. At the foot of the stairs, she caught you. Grabbing you firmly by your arm, turning you around to her. – “Y/n!” – she said shining her light at you. You squeezed your eyes partly shut at the bright light. Enid gasped moving back. – “Are… are you alright?” – she asked panicky seeing the sweat glimmer on your face. – “Just… just hungry I guess.” – you told her, squeezing your stomach more. Enid frowned. – “Does your stomach hurt?” – she asked moving your hand away.
You nodded, bending over at the pain. – “It’s like I haven’t eaten in ages.” – you explained. Enid took you by the arm to keep you standing up straight. She hummed deep looking thoughtful around. – “I don’t think the nurse would be pleased if I wake her up.” – she said to herself out loud. You flinched hearing your own stomach growl. – “Did… did you perhaps ate something bad at the Carnival?” – Enid asked, trying all possibilities.
“I don’t know.” – you answered. – “All I ate was cotton candy.” – reminding her. Enid shone her flashlight at a door. – “Perhaps we can go look for a snack or medicine.” – she looked at you wondering which approach you wanted. – “Food.” – you said clear. Enid moved her arm around you to support you. She didn’t want you to fall to the ground.
Enid found her way to the cafeteria easily in the dark. She led you to the back behind the counters. With her back, she pushed the heavy doors open. The room was cooler. Enid set you down on a chair. Laying her flashlight on the table. Your eyes needed a second to adjust to the light Enid had switched on. – “Okay what do you want?” – she said opening the fridge. You shrugged your shoulders. – “Anything eatable.” – you answered. – “Eatable. Got it.”  - Enid repeated searching the fridge.
She grabbed a blood bag, looking disgusted at it for a moment. She shuddered while placing it back. She dove in with both her hands. Shoving things aside in search for something presentable enough to actually make one want to eat. Most things were stomach turners in her eyes. You felt your stomach contract together, freaking you out. – “Enid…” – you said. – “What?” – Enid replied speeding up her search, picking up packs of raw meat to look underneath.
“I don’t feel so good.” – you told her, feeling your stomach growl. Enid gasped bailing on her task to find food. – “Emergency!” – she called out, running around in search for a bucket. She found one with traces of yellow liquid in it. Thinking what it could be almost made her gag. She didn’t find anything else, going back with the bucket to you. – “Sorry I couldn’t find a clean one.” – she said.
You took the bucket from her, holding it close to your chest. – “Good enough.” – you answered. You stuck your head in it, taking a good sniff. – “Disgusting Y/n.” – Enid called out with a pulled up nose. – “It’s not puss… too bad.” – you told her. Enid faked a gag sound at the horrid idea. – “You know you are one sicko sometimes.” – she said. – “Thank you.” – you answered trying to smile. Enid patted you on your head with a deep sigh. – “Still need any food?” – she asked to be sure. You pulled your shoulders up, feeling a tat better.
Enid moved back to the fridge, taking one last look. Your lips parted feeling lightheaded. – “E…Enid…” – you breathed out. Enid hummed loud, her finger in her mouth, a cup of pudding in her other one. She dropped her pudding at the sight of you. She came running over as you couldn’t see straight. Enid moving from side to side in a wave. – “Y/n! You are looking pale. More then ever!” – she exclaimed in a panic.
“I’m getting your sister!” – she pulled herself up as you stopped her by grabbing her arm. – “No Wednesday!” – you made clear. – “Y/n I can’t attend to you like this? You are clearly sick!” – she called out in a panic. She pulled out her phone, clutching onto it. – “Let me at least call Tyler then! He might know what to do… please.”
You let go of her arm. Enid turned around making the call. The air around you was tightening. – “I…I need fresh air.” – you said getting up. Enid was too busy calling on the phone she hardly heard you leave. You left through a back door, finding a way outside. You took in a deep breath, letting your head fall back. Dropping the bucket you started walking.
Barefoot in the grass. The moon full between the leaves of the trees. Taking another deep breath, you started to feel better. Stumbling through the woods to wherever your bare feet were carrying you. The cold breeze didn’t do you anything. The cold seemed to make you feel clear. Sane. You wandered further in the woods enclosing your school.
Guided by the moon and dark. You smiled feeling almost esthetic. Euphoric of some kind. You smiled wider seeing grim faces appear in the trees. Blood dripping down the bark made you look giddy at it. Heart pattering just a bit faster. What a dream this was.
“Y/n!” – Tyler called out spotting you through the trees. He came running over nearly tripping over his own feet. He bumped hard against you, wrapping his arms around you. He exhaled deeply relieved. Cupping your cheeks, he lifted your head a bit up to meet with his eyes. – “Are you alright. Enid called me that you were feeling unwell.” – he said taking a good look at you. – “I’m fine.” – you told him with a wave dismissing it.
Tyler furrowed his brows. – “What… what are you doing out here in the woods? It’s not save.” – he clenched his jaw, looking around. You started laughing making him frown. – “I am the most dangerous thing here in the woods.” – you teased with a little shove. Tyler chuckled. – “I know.” – he answered. He kissed your forehead teasingly. He wrapped his arms around you, letting his head rest against your side. – “Does your stomach still hurt?” – he asked.
You shook your head. – “Was it the cotton candy?” – he whispered lips close to your ear. – “Or the tea?” – you said making him widen his eyes. He moved you at arms-length. – “What tea?” – he asked frantically. – “Misses Thorn-“ – you started as he let go of you stumbling back. Your eyes widened feeling a strong contraction in your stomach. Tyler gasped, looking with fear at you. You coughed, a dark thick liquid spewing out of your mouth. Droplets hit Tyler on his shirt, making him move his arms up.
More dark liquid came out of your mouth as it stained your chin. You kept coughing it out as it kept coming. – “No!” – Tyler yelled out, catching you when you dropped down. The blackness kept coming out of you as you were slowly choking on it. – “No! no, no, no!” – he called out holding your body. Your chest spasmed as the black liquid sputtered out of your mouth. – “No! Please!” – Tyler panicked, his hand trembling as it tried to brush against your cheek.
He almost choked on his own tears watching you choke on the poison. It was clear to him she’d poisoned you. He wiped his tears away, getting up his feet as he carried you. – “Hold on Y/n!” – he made clear. – “I will not let you die on me!” – he started running back to the school, hoping he wouldn’t be too late for an antidote.

The start of filming the second season inspired me, and I made some new Weyler arts. And I even wrote 4 pages of a new fanfic, but I don’t know yet when it will be released. So for now the arts☺️

hi everyone! i was tagged by @realmermaid333 @beri-allen and @writerrose1998 for the last sentence tag war thing. tysm for the tag, friends :-)
i’m going to cheat oops and post a bit more than my last sentence LMAO. It’s from a one-shot i’m currently writing titled and i’m dying to know (is it killing you like it’s killing me?)
“This is so wrong,” Tyler whispered, his hold on Wednesday’s hand tightening as she led him through the wrought iron gate.
“Mary Shelley lost her virginity to Percy Bysshe Shelley in a cemetery,” Wednesday countered, giving him a sideways look. “You know that she’s my literary nemesis, Tyler. I have to beat her.”
Tyler coughed out a laugh. “So we should have sex in a cemetery because you need to fulfill your dream of beating some dead author?”
“It’s a lifelong dream, first of all,” Wednesday rolled her eyes. “And secondly, Mary Shelley isn’t just some dead author—”
“She’s your nemesis. I get it,” He cut her off.
Wednesday looked up at him, her eyes so desperate and so pleading. “So, what do you say?”
“Well,” Tyler tapped a finger to his chin, deep in thought. “She is your nemesis, and it is a lifelong dream… Who am I to be the one to stomp all over your dreams?”
this is my first time writing smut in many years :flushed: anyways, i’m tagging @wincestation , @therulerofallpotatos , @suchaladyy , @cosmic-lullaby , AND i’m tagging back @realmermaid333 , @beri-allen , and @writerrose1998 because i’m evil ;)
also, if you want to do this and i didn’t tag you… consider yourself tagged!

Just something I've been obsessing over lately 🥲 First time with a Weyler story and I've written it in a hour, so bear it with me please!
*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*
Wednesday stormed in her room, Thing on her tail.
Tumblr media
She couldn't believe it. Her strategy had been sound, but nothing went as planned.
Rowan. Rowan had almost killed her and she would have been helpless, her death the most foolish and unsatisfactory end in all her family's history had it not been for...
And this made her soul boil even more!
"You know, for a fancy school full of Outcasts these uniforms are quite uncomfortable."
She could already see his smirk in her mind and she hated it. She hated his "I told you so" smiles, the one he reserved just for her every time he succeeded in besting her in their games.
He had saved her tonight - again! - but she would never - NEVER! - give him the satisfaction of being right. She didn't need him here.
Wednesday slowly turned around to look at the owner of the voice.
Tumblr media
He was buttoning a shirt cuffs, his chest naked and still wet. The pants he was wearing were a little short on his tall frame and his curls... his curls stood out in all directions resembling a wild, untamed and burning forest. He looked like one of those dark heroes plasted on Enid's YA books and Wednesday hated how she could now compare him to them.
Tumblr media
She schooled her expression to give away nothing, but her reaction made his smirk grow even wider.
"I guess you stole them."
"I prefer to say finders keepers." With the last button fastened he approached her, brushing her face with one hand. "Hello, cockroach."
Tumblr media
"I didn't need your help." Her reply was hard and fast, like a blade to the heart. It made him chuckle.
In his eyes, she looked like an angry kitten and he fucking loved it. Her frown made her even prettier.
He was not hurt by her tone. He had known how she would react: Wednesday, after all, didn't like to show her human side but she had never learned to hide her emotions from him. His girl was spooked by what had happened in the forest tonight and sooner or later someone was going to pay for that. No one could touch his girl and live.
"Didn't seem like it to me. So, how does it feel like?"
"Feel like?"
"To lose?"
Wednesday recoiled from his warm touch, feeling scorched. His presence was a confusing influence in the dull tedium of her life and she loathed the way it made her... feel. A touch from him and her treacherous body had already forgotten everything around her.
She pushed him away, peeved by his words. He could be more poisonous than a snake when he wanted to be and his sultry tone struck her already bruised ego anew.
"Why are you here?"
He raised an eyebrow, amused.
"A little bird may have told Tante Tish about something strange happening here, so I thought I'd drop by." He tilted his head to the side, pointing at Thing on her dresser.
"Snitch!" The girl hissed.
Tumblr media
Wednesday tried to put some distance between them, but he did not allow it.
"I told you to look after Pugsley."
"I don't think Pug will have any problems without us there, mon ange de la nuit." He took her hand. His breath was warm against it, while his full lips left a kiss. "I had a little... chat... with his bullies." He gave her one of his stares, the feral ones which made her blood sing for violence and death. "I missed you."
"Clingy overgrown dog."
His replay was silenced by the arrival of a colored cyclone with blond hair and a shrill voice. "Bestie! What happened? You were gone and..."
Tumblr media
Enid stopped in her tracks at the sight before her. Her eyes were so wide open that they were almost comical.
Her grim roomie, her gloomy bestie was in the arms of a dark and unknown boy! An almost naked boy! Did Wednesday have a secret boyfriend she never talked about?! But Enid had thought they were beginning to get close. "Who are you?"
"Hers." He replied with no shame.
"Ohhhh!"
"Stop any absurd thought currently running through your mind, Enid!" Wednesday's angry kitty expression reached new levels of cuteness and the mystery stranger looked totally entranced, almost as her roomie was his sun and stars. Were they having a forbidden affair?
"But..."
"He is just Tyler, my mother's ward. He believed I needed help in solving the mystery of the missing bodies, but he was obviously wrong."
"I thought you didn't like labels, mon cher."
"Shut. Up. Crétin!"
"Love you too, mon ange de la nuit". The boy now known as Tyler replied, unruffled. He waved his hand in Enid's direction, winking at her.
A shiver ran down Wednesday's back, as her life in that hell of school became even more complicated and her plan to run away was officially blown up.
Someone had tried to kill her tonight and she was sure Thing was going to tell her mother everything. She would have to punish him for his betrayal but first thing first, she had to stop her noisy roommate from using her blasted blog and let the truth about her... Tyler being at Nevermore.
Wednesday had never hated her life more.
