Summary: Feeling unwell, some of your friends try to help as best as they can while you go down a rabbithole of side-effects. The poison slowly claiming you. Yet what can be done against it? Read part 1 & part 2 & part 3 & part 4 & part 5 & part 6 & part 7 & part 8 & part 10
Pulling the covers off you, you swung your legs out of bed. Sitting up straight, clamping onto the bed, you needed a moment to process what you were feeling. Your brows furrowed hearing your stomach rumble about. Squeezing your stomach, you hoped to silence it. – “Am I that hungry?” – you asked yourself hearing another groan. Looking to the side, you checked what time it was. Nowhere near sunrise. Squeezing your stomach tighter at the pain, you barely could hold it. – “I’m getting food.” – you said out loud, getting out of bed.
You slipped into your comfy slippers as black as night. At a slow pace you made your way over to the door. Stomach making sounds so loud you were glad no one was around to hear it. It would be so embarrassing. It took you a lot of strength to move your feet about. Barely able to lift them. Toes dragging over the floor till you lifted them briefly up to set your heel down. Halfway the hall, you paused to catch your breath.
You stumbled a bit further, dragging yourself forwards. Suddenly the walls felt like closing in on you. Twisting and turning in a blur. No longer able to distinguish the floor from the ceiling. Gasping for air, you stumbled to the side. Grabbing the first thing in reach. A door handle. The door handle flipped down and up by your force. Body crashing against the door as you had lost your balance. It took you a second to shake yourself awake.
On the other end of the door shot Enid awake. Eyes wide with fear. – “Wednesday.” – she shout-whispered, pulling the covers more up. Wednesday groaned in her sleep pulling her covers over her head. – “Did… did you hear that Wednesday?” – Enid asked frightful. – “Go back to sleep Enid.” – Wednesday replied moody. – “But… but… I heard something… in the hallway.” – her lip trembled. – “Then go look.” – Wednesday’s voice muffled from coming under the sheets. – “What if it is the Hyde?” – she freaked out pulling the covers over her head to hide.
Wednesday groaned loud. – “If I hear you scream I’ll know.” – she replied grinning with her eyes closed. Enid huffed loud, pushing her covers down. – “I thought you’d love to explore if it was the Hyde?” – she called out making sure her voice remained quiet enough yet loud and clear to deliver the message. Wednesday slapped her covers off her, staring at the ceiling. – “It better be the Hyde or I’m feeding you to it myself!” – she said getting up in one swift motion.
Enid swallowed nervously moving her covers away as well. – “Now I hope it is not.” – she said. Wednesday grabbed a flashlight making her way to the door. Enid followed wanting to stay close. Wednesday opened the door without hesitation as Enid yelped. – “Do you want to get eaten?” – she asked. Enid shook her head. – “Then stop squealing like a faint girl.” – she made clear with a deep sigh.
Wednesday shone her flashlight down the hallway. Enid grabbed for her shoulder as her light fell upon a figure. Wednesday gave her a bitter expression that made her let go. Wednesday casted her light better on the person recognizing you out of a million. – “Disappointing.” – she said dull. – “It’s my sister.” – Wednesday turned around heading back to her room. – “Wait!” – Enid called out. – “Aren… aren’t you curious to what she is doing so late?” – Enid questioned.
Wednesday stared at her. – “For all I care she is summoning ghosts.” – she answered with little care. Enid took the flashlight from her roomie. – “Well I am going to investigate.” – Enid had set her mind to it. Wednesday didn’t reply to it, closing the door behind her. – “Fine! I’ll be alright on my own.” – Enid said to the door. Turning around nervous, she couldn’t deny she was a bit anxious. What if you were truly going to summon ghosts. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to witness that.
Swallowing her doubt down, she went on with shaky legs. – “Y/n.” – Enid whispered, her flashlight shuddering in her grip. The light bounced up and down. Too nervous to keep it steady. – “Y/n wait up.” – she called out when she was losing sight of you. Enid started running. Going down the stairs as you were already going down them. – “Y/n.” – Enid whispered seeing your hand slide against the wall for grip. – “Are you alright?”
Enid started to run faster. At the foot of the stairs, she caught you. Grabbing you firmly by your arm, turning you around to her. – “Y/n!” – she said shining her light at you. You squeezed your eyes partly shut at the bright light. Enid gasped moving back. – “Are… are you alright?” – she asked panicky seeing the sweat glimmer on your face. – “Just… just hungry I guess.” – you told her, squeezing your stomach more. Enid frowned. – “Does your stomach hurt?” – she asked moving your hand away.
You nodded, bending over at the pain. – “It’s like I haven’t eaten in ages.” – you explained. Enid took you by the arm to keep you standing up straight. She hummed deep looking thoughtful around. – “I don’t think the nurse would be pleased if I wake her up.” – she said to herself out loud. You flinched hearing your own stomach growl. – “Did… did you perhaps ate something bad at the Carnival?” – Enid asked, trying all possibilities.
“I don’t know.” – you answered. – “All I ate was cotton candy.” – reminding her. Enid shone her flashlight at a door. – “Perhaps we can go look for a snack or medicine.” – she looked at you wondering which approach you wanted. – “Food.” – you said clear. Enid moved her arm around you to support you. She didn’t want you to fall to the ground.
Enid found her way to the cafeteria easily in the dark. She led you to the back behind the counters. With her back, she pushed the heavy doors open. The room was cooler. Enid set you down on a chair. Laying her flashlight on the table. Your eyes needed a second to adjust to the light Enid had switched on. – “Okay what do you want?” – she said opening the fridge. You shrugged your shoulders. – “Anything eatable.” – you answered. – “Eatable. Got it.” - Enid repeated searching the fridge.
She grabbed a blood bag, looking disgusted at it for a moment. She shuddered while placing it back. She dove in with both her hands. Shoving things aside in search for something presentable enough to actually make one want to eat. Most things were stomach turners in her eyes. You felt your stomach contract together, freaking you out. – “Enid…” – you said. – “What?” – Enid replied speeding up her search, picking up packs of raw meat to look underneath.
“I don’t feel so good.” – you told her, feeling your stomach growl. Enid gasped bailing on her task to find food. – “Emergency!” – she called out, running around in search for a bucket. She found one with traces of yellow liquid in it. Thinking what it could be almost made her gag. She didn’t find anything else, going back with the bucket to you. – “Sorry I couldn’t find a clean one.” – she said.
You took the bucket from her, holding it close to your chest. – “Good enough.” – you answered. You stuck your head in it, taking a good sniff. – “Disgusting Y/n.” – Enid called out with a pulled up nose. – “It’s not puss… too bad.” – you told her. Enid faked a gag sound at the horrid idea. – “You know you are one sicko sometimes.” – she said. – “Thank you.” – you answered trying to smile. Enid patted you on your head with a deep sigh. – “Still need any food?” – she asked to be sure. You pulled your shoulders up, feeling a tat better.
Enid moved back to the fridge, taking one last look. Your lips parted feeling lightheaded. – “E…Enid…” – you breathed out. Enid hummed loud, her finger in her mouth, a cup of pudding in her other one. She dropped her pudding at the sight of you. She came running over as you couldn’t see straight. Enid moving from side to side in a wave. – “Y/n! You are looking pale. More then ever!” – she exclaimed in a panic.
“I’m getting your sister!” – she pulled herself up as you stopped her by grabbing her arm. – “No Wednesday!” – you made clear. – “Y/n I can’t attend to you like this? You are clearly sick!” – she called out in a panic. She pulled out her phone, clutching onto it. – “Let me at least call Tyler then! He might know what to do… please.”
You let go of her arm. Enid turned around making the call. The air around you was tightening. – “I…I need fresh air.” – you said getting up. Enid was too busy calling on the phone she hardly heard you leave. You left through a back door, finding a way outside. You took in a deep breath, letting your head fall back. Dropping the bucket you started walking.
Barefoot in the grass. The moon full between the leaves of the trees. Taking another deep breath, you started to feel better. Stumbling through the woods to wherever your bare feet were carrying you. The cold breeze didn’t do you anything. The cold seemed to make you feel clear. Sane. You wandered further in the woods enclosing your school.
Guided by the moon and dark. You smiled feeling almost esthetic. Euphoric of some kind. You smiled wider seeing grim faces appear in the trees. Blood dripping down the bark made you look giddy at it. Heart pattering just a bit faster. What a dream this was.
“Y/n!” – Tyler called out spotting you through the trees. He came running over nearly tripping over his own feet. He bumped hard against you, wrapping his arms around you. He exhaled deeply relieved. Cupping your cheeks, he lifted your head a bit up to meet with his eyes. – “Are you alright. Enid called me that you were feeling unwell.” – he said taking a good look at you. – “I’m fine.” – you told him with a wave dismissing it.
Tyler furrowed his brows. – “What… what are you doing out here in the woods? It’s not save.” – he clenched his jaw, looking around. You started laughing making him frown. – “I am the most dangerous thing here in the woods.” – you teased with a little shove. Tyler chuckled. – “I know.” – he answered. He kissed your forehead teasingly. He wrapped his arms around you, letting his head rest against your side. – “Does your stomach still hurt?” – he asked.
You shook your head. – “Was it the cotton candy?” – he whispered lips close to your ear. – “Or the tea?” – you said making him widen his eyes. He moved you at arms-length. – “What tea?” – he asked frantically. – “Misses Thorn-“ – you started as he let go of you stumbling back. Your eyes widened feeling a strong contraction in your stomach. Tyler gasped, looking with fear at you. You coughed, a dark thick liquid spewing out of your mouth. Droplets hit Tyler on his shirt, making him move his arms up.
More dark liquid came out of your mouth as it stained your chin. You kept coughing it out as it kept coming. – “No!” – Tyler yelled out, catching you when you dropped down. The blackness kept coming out of you as you were slowly choking on it. – “No! no, no, no!” – he called out holding your body. Your chest spasmed as the black liquid sputtered out of your mouth. – “No! Please!” – Tyler panicked, his hand trembling as it tried to brush against your cheek.
He almost choked on his own tears watching you choke on the poison. It was clear to him she’d poisoned you. He wiped his tears away, getting up his feet as he carried you. – “Hold on Y/n!” – he made clear. – “I will not let you die on me!” – he started running back to the school, hoping he wouldn’t be too late for an antidote.

Thinking about reader dropping so hard that she just stares up at Mari with big glassy eyes and an open mouth. There’s something so intriguing about reader getting to a point where she’s not even babbling or pleading, just looking at her mama with love. I know Mari would absolutely melt when faced with a fully dropped reader. Any thoughts on that dynamic?
my thoughts are 🤭 like sorryyyy i love love love that idea and dynamic and its definitely being explored!! like, being able to be completely dropped like that is such an act of safety and trust, reader would definitely get in that state if marilyn was being particularly condescending, or even needy herself?? like, one day marilyn just wanting her dumbed down girl and nothing else, and reader giving her that like a special act of service <33

Fetish - Marilyn Thornhill
1 - a new beginning
<3
Warnings: anxiety/panic attack
Word count: 3.3k
A/N: Soooo excited to be finally able to post this!!!!!!! Aahhhhhh!!!
You were on the verge of a panic attack. Your bus had taken you to Jericho, and you had just missed the other bus that was supposed to take you to Nevermore.
You were new to the town. Your home was several states away, but your parents had decided it would be the best for you to attend the boarding school they'd read about. Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts. You thought it was an absurd idea to send you there, as you were, in fact, not an outcast.
There were outcasts in your family. Mostly psychics. Your mother, your father, your grandparents... But not you. The gene had skipped you. Even though no one ever said anything mean about it, especially your parents, you knew everyone was disappointed. How they all had expected you to turn out a skilled psychic - nothing.
You sometimes even thought that you and your incompetence were the reason your parents had divorced all those years ago. Of course they'd assure you it was not, but you couldn't stop overthinking it. Just like you couldn't stop overthinking everything. You were like that - overanalyzing everything and never feeling like you were enough.
Just like now you were overthinking how you'd never get into that academy, how you'd fail again and end up dead in a ditch-
Stop it, Y/N. You're doing it again, you repeated over and over in your head.
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath, attempting to calm yourself down. You had to think rationally. You were in a foreign small town all alone with no sense of direction.
You should ask someone for help. Small town people were usually nice.
You spotted a cozy-looking cafe across the street, nodded to yourself and walked towards it with your bags and your suitcase. After stumbling your way inside with basically your whole life packed into those bags, you took a sigh and had a look around. It was a small and neat place, maybe you'd go there again on a less hectic day. It wasn't crowded at all, with only a few booths by the window occupied.
You decided not to bother the customers, and instead made your way to the front desk, there was a young boy working and surely he'd help.
He raised his gaze up to you and smiled awkwardly, "Good evening, miss. What can I get you?"
You stepped a little closer, as you knew that back home everyone wasn't so... accepting, of outcasts. You didn't know Jericho's situation, but decided to play safe. "Uh, yes. Do you happen to know where the Nevermore Academy is? I was supposed to be there already but I missed my bus and have absolutely no clue where to go." You rambled, but still with a low tone of voice.
The boy raised his eyebrows, looking rather surprised, and you internally slapped yourself. He must hate you now.
But soon enough, his face turned into an understanding one. "Yes, I do actually. Would you like me to take you there?" He offered and you beamed in joy.
"Yes, oh, thank you so much!" You said, almost jumping at how giddy you were. Maybe you wouldn't end up dead in a ditch. But your face soon turned stern and serious, "I will not forget this." You said, attempting to sound as grateful as possible.
He smiled, "Okay, well, my shift unfortunately ends at 10pm, I'm really sorry I wish I could drive you there earlier."
You checked your phone. 8:30pm. You could handle it. "S'okay. As long as I get there somehow."
"Would you like to have a coffee? It's on the house." He offered.
"Yes, that would be great. Thank you, uhm- sorry, what was your name?"
"Tyler. Tyler Galpin. And what is yours?"
"Y/N. Y/N L/N."
-
Tyler drove you to Nevermore as promised. When he parked, you looked anxious and conflicted.
"I could escort you inside? I know the place, I actually come here by a lot since I know some people here."
You widened your eyes, "Really? That would be great, thank you so much!"
He nodded and you got out of the car, he politely took your bags and suitcase although you insisted in carrying them yourself.
The halls were quiet and empty as it was almost 10:30pm now. You had no idea where to go, as this was definitely not an appropriate hour to be meeting the headmistress. But you didn't question anything yet, you just followed Tyler as he seemed to know what to do. You walked along the halls until he came to a halt at a door, seemingly to a classroom but you weren't too sure. "Uh, Tyler? Are you sure we're... allowed to be here?" You questioned.
He chuckled at you, knocking on the door and going inside, you hesitantly following him.
The place was almost as dark as the Autumn sky at this hour, but you noticed a small lamp light up by a desk in the front. You spotted desks to its opposite, this must be a class, you thought. Even though you couldn't see that much in there, you did notice the tall trees and the potted plants nearest to you. It was a serene place, you certainly would enjoy coming here.
"Tyler? What are you doing here?" An unkwown woman from behind you asked, making you flinch and turn around with wide eyes.
You couldn't see her, at all. She was standing in a shadowy corner.
"Ms Thornhill, I believe I've found a lost student of yours. Well, a new student. She came by the Weathervane, asking where the academy is so I brought her here." Tyler explained, now bringing all the attention to you. You couldn't have been more nervous.
The woman stepped forward, now causing the faint desk light to show herself. She was absolutely beautiful with her auburn hair and warm, brown eyes.
Okay, stop it, Y/N. She's probably your teacher, pull your shit together. Your inner monologue scolded you and you agreed. You shouldn't be thinking like that of your possibly new teacher.
The woman looked at you with an intrigued expression, with her head slightly tilted and her eyes narrowed. You felt like you were being judged. But all that washed away when soon, a huge grin plastered all over her face.
"Well, hello there! You must be Y/N, Principal Weems actually informed me about your arrival today, it's nice to meet you. I'm your dorm mom, Marilyn Thornhill!" She introduced herself, offering her hand for you to shake.
And you did, smiling lightly at her, "Yes, I'm Y/N, Y/N L/N. It's very nice to finally be here, thanks to Tyler. Without him I'd probably still be somewhere in Jericho, panicking my guts." You said with a small chuckle.
She frowned in confusion, "What do you mean, did something happen?"
You smiled awkwardly, "Well, I actually missed the bus that was supposed to drive me here, but luckily I went to the local cafe and Tyler was there to save the day."
She raised her eyebrows and looked at Tyler, who nodded, confirming your words. Her gaze turned back to you and you smiled nervously at her. And something in her expression softened.
"Thank you, Tyler, I'll take it from here. Let's get you to your dorm, sweetheart."
Your cheeks developed a faint red at the petname, but gladly it was too dark in the conservatory for her to see. You turn to Tyler, "Thank you so much for saving my life. I owe you."
He chuckled, "It's alright. I better get going before my father starts wondering where I am. Have a good one!"
After the boy had left, you went over to where he had left your bags to pick them up. But right before you could take the bags, a hand on your wrist stopped you.
"Ah, ah. Let me carry those, you must be tired." She insisted, sending you a look which left you no room to argue. You slightly nodded as you wacthed her pick up your bags with surprising strength.
You began following her through the empty halls like a lost puppy, you didn't speak much but the silence wasn't uncomfortable.
Soon enough, you stopped at a door and she searched for a key in her pocket, opening the door. "I'm sorry, sweetie, but you don't have a roommate. All the dorms were full already so you're going to be alone in here." She explained almost sadly, carrying your bags inside and suddenly rubbing your bicep comfortingly.
You flinched a bit at the sudden touch and your cheeks instantly grew hot, which didn't go unnoticed by the woman. You saw how her eyes looked at you weirdly, but not exactly in a bad way, and how her lips parted just the slightest bit.
You had no clue what her gaze meant, but it was piercing through you.
"I- it's alright, Ms Thornhill. I prefer solitude anyway."
She smiled softly, "By the way, welcome to Opheila Hall. As I said before, I'm also your dorm mom, meaning you can come to me about anything and everything whenever you need, sweeatheart, okay?"
You nodded and avoided her gaze. Wrong move, apparently. She gripped you chin and forced you to look in her eyes, you only now noticed how close you were standing, her touch was sending shivers down your spine.
"Use your words, sweet girl." She cooed, making you hazy at the attention and her way with words.
"I- yes, thank you, Ms Thornhill. I uh, I better start unpacking." You rambled, embarassed at how you were stuttering just because of her touch.
She chuckled, "Right, I'll leave you be. I'll stop by tomorrow morning so we can go to Principal Weems together to retrieve your schedule, uniform and everything else necessary."
You nodded as you walked around the small dorm, observing it and thinking of how you'd decorate it to look cozy. "Yes, thank you so much, Ms Thornhill. And sorry again for arriving this late,"
She smiled as you spoke, "Don't apologize, honey. You did nothing wrong. Oh, and just to go over by a few rules, lights out at 10, and no boys, ever."
-
The next day you woke up, smiling lightly at the newly decorated dorm. It had pretty stringlights hung up everywhere, creating a magical atmosphere, there were some of your favorite books set on your desk neatly, hou hung up pretty and slightly transparent white curtains on the windows to add more life into the previously empty room. In your opinion, the bed was the best thing. You had several cozy blankets, decorated pillows and a few plushies. Above it were also some hung stringlights.
You really loved how the room turned out.
Giddy about your new home, you quickly got out of bed and went into the ensuite bathroom in your dorm. You brushed your teeth and washed your face. You quickly did yor hair and applied some makeup before going over to your closet.
It was your first day here, you wanted to make a good first impression. You ended up choosing your favorite outfit.
You didn't know what you should do, but you wanted to explore the school. You decided you'd go and see if Ms Thornhill was in the conservatory (because you completely forgot she was supposed to come to you).
You left your dorm and wandered around the school, trying to remember the way to your dorm. The school was a labyrinth.
You came to an outdoor area which was filled with students. You felt several pairs of eyes on you, which was pretty expected but still made you feel a pang of anxiety in your chest and made you cross your arms. You were quite a social person, but new situations like these still weren't your piece of cake.
A hand on your shoulder interrupted your thoughts. You jumped a little as you turned around to meet a excited-looking blonde who must've been the same age as you. She had blue and pink highlights in her hair and the biggest ear-to-ear smile you'd ever seen on anyone.
There was a raven-haired girl next to the blonde, the mere opposite of her friend. Where the first girl looked like she was on top of the world, the other girl looked like she'd kill you without hesitation if you ever messed with her or her friend.
"Hi!! I'm Enid Sinclair, you must be new here, what's your name??!" The blonde was almost jumping with joy, and her easy-going demeanor really eased up the situation.
You smiled, "Y/N L/N, nice to meet you too. And yeah, I'm very much new here, I arrived just last night."
You turned to look at the gloomy girl next to the blonde. She was glaring at me, but offered her hand anyway after Enid nudged her slightly. You shook her hand and she introduced herself, "Wednesday Addams. It's a pleasure."
You nodded with a smile.
"Y/N, would you like if we showed you around here? I know it can be hard to find places when you're here for the first time." Enid offered.
"Really? That would be amazing," You beamed, ignoring Wednesday's glares towards Enid for suggesting such thing.
You began following the two girls around the school. They showed you the cafeteria, told you that the outdoors area was called the quad, which you honestly thought was weird but didn't say anything. After about an hour of walking around the school and trying to remember the right paths to certain places.
"So, Y/N, what type of an outcast are you?" Enid asked after showing you to the library, Wednesday following close behind.
Your cheeks flushed and you felt an uncomfortable twist in your stomach - you were afraid they'd abandon you instantly if they found out about you being a normie. You sighed as you already accepted your fate, and reluctantly spoke. "Actually, I'm not an outcast. All of my family is, psychics to be exact, but I'm not. I guess the good gene really decided to skip on me." You closed your eyes as you felt the tears pricking in your eyes.
But to your utter shock, neither of them made a snarky comment or looked at you in a disgusted way. Instead, you felt two arms hugging you tight. Enid wrapped you in her arms and whispered just so the three of you heard- "Don't worry, Y/N, this won't change our opinions about you. We know you're unique, whether you have any psychic abilities or not. You're a special girl, Wednesday here said so."
You looked at the raven-haired girl in shock. You didn't expect she'd say something so nice of you so quickly. She just nodded her head in confirmation before quickly looking away to hide her embarassment.
You smiled softly at them, feeling a sense of calm washing over you. "Thank you, guys. It really means a lot. Uhh, could you possibly show me the way back to my dorm? I think I may have already forgotten."
"Yeah, sure!" Enid exclaimed happily before you three were again on your way.
You took extra note of the hallways leading to your dorm. You did luckily catch onto these type of things pretty easily so it wasn't that hard.
You were so caught up in talking with Enid that as you rounded a corner, you bumped into someone. You closed your eyes and were ready to fall, but to your surprise, you didn't. You felt a pair of strong hands around your waist, keeping you up and steady.
"Woah, there!" Ms Thornhill chuckled, but soon furrowed her eyebrows in worry, "Honey, where were you? I thought I was supposed to come and get you so we could go to the principal together?"
You widened your eyes as you realized, you had forgot.
"Oh my god, Ms Thornhill, I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean to, I-I was-" You started rambling nervously.
She huffed on a soft laughter, still her hands were on your waist even though you were standing up straight now. You blushed furiously and that didn't go unnoticed by the woman.
"Sweetie, calm down. I was never mad at you, I was just worried, okay?" She said gently, squeezing your waist assuringly before letting go. And for some reason, you immediately missed the contact.
"Okay," You whispered, almost forgetting how Wednesday and Enid were still standing beside you, observing the interaction you had with the redhead.
"So, are you ready to go to Principal Weems now? Come on, I'll go with you, bye girls!" She linked your arms and pulled you away from your new friends.
You quickly waved to the girls before disappearing around the corner.
You suddenly got extremely nervous about meeting the principal, how angry she must've been at you for not showing up. You're nothing but a burden to everyone, you shouldn't even be here in the first place.
You stopped dead in your tracks, and Ms Thornhill, who still had her arm linked to yours, stopped abruptly too, turning around with confusion all over her face.
She furrowed her brows, "Sweetheart? Is everything okay?"
You pursed your lips together and looked around to see if there was any way to escape the uncomfortable situation. You tried your best to avoid eye contact with the teacher, which only grew her more worried. There were a few students in the hallway, which only made you more anxious. Ms Thornhill noticed this, as she quickly placed her hand on your lower back and walked you to a more secluded corner.
Your breathing picked up and you could only think of how it would all come crashing down before it even started.
"Hey, honey, I'm right here, you're safe with me, okay?" Ms Thornhill tried to assure you with a patient smile.
"No, no, I can't, m'sorry-" You rambled as you still were trying to blink your tears away.
"Hey, hey, listen to me, can you be a good girl and do that for me?" She whispered, causing your breath to hitch in your throat at the good girl and your attention shifted onto her and her words. You vigorously nodded through your ragged breaths.
"Such a good girl, now, breath with me. One in, one out, just do as I do, okay?" And that nickname absolutely made something surprisingly pleasant on fire in your abdomen.
You nodded again as you watched her chest inflate and deflate again and again, and you did the same, following her movements.
If you weren't in such a state right now, you would've noticed Marilyn's amused but attentive eyes set on you as you kept on looking at her chest.
Over and over again, in and out, and it started to help. You weren't in a state of panic anymore, you felt surprisingly good. She really had helped you. Taking in a last big breath in and out, you sighed in content as you had finally calmed yourself down.
Ms Thornhill smiled tenderly and cupped your cheek with one of her hands, soothing her thumb across it. You smiled lightly as well.
"You did very well, dear. I'm proud of you."
You nodded to assure yourself everything was okay now.
"Do you think you'll be able to go see Principal Weems now? You don't have to if you don't feel like it. But I'll be there with you if you want to go, okay?" She gently spoke.
You thought for a second and then nodded, "Yeah, I think I'm ready to go,"
She smiled softly as she linked your arms again.
If only you’d have known that this was the beginning of something so incredibly disastrous.

Waiting Room
Wednesday’s POV of the time between Episode 4 and Episode 5
TW: Aftermath of Eugene’s Hyde Attack, brief mentions of vomiting (it’s like a sentence)
Title could be a reference to the Phoebe Bridgers song if you want it to be :]
Also posted on AO3
She should’ve gone with him.
Wednesday knew she wouldn’t enjoy The Rave’n, but she thought that corny music would be the worst the night would get. She was angry with herself. How could she have been so foolish? Of course he would go out on his own. She should’ve known! What good were her psychic abilities if she can’t even predict her best friend’s attack until right before it happens?
She had been allowed to ride in the ambulance, Miss Thornhill insisting that Wednesday would be better suited to handle the sight of all of the blood. In reality, she probably knew that Wednesday would force her way in anyways. Instead, Miss Thornhill promised to follow them in a car with Principal Weems.
Wednesday had a lot of time to think in the back of the ambulance. She thought about how she failed to protect Eugene. She thought about how disappointed Tyler must be that she vanished. She thought about how concerned Enid must be that she wasn’t back at the dorm yet.
Her thoughts were, thankfully, disturbed by an EMT asking about her state, paling at the sight of her red-soaked figure.
“It’s paint,” she informed the man, not too interested in conversation. He asked her something again, she couldn’t hear him the first time, asking for a repetition of the question.
“How do you two know each other?” The EMT asked, gesturing to Eugene.
Wednesday looked down at the body lying on the gurney. He seemed so small against the bedding he was on. His face was coated in smeared blood, wiped quickly to get a better view of the injuries rather than to fully clean them. His layers of clothing had been completely torn through, jagged cuts peaking through the holes in his shirts, staining them red with blood.
Despite knowing how bad of a sign it was for him to be asleep, she was glad he wasn’t conscious. At least there was some chance he wouldn’t be aware of the pain.
She snapped out of her thoughts to the EMT giving her a small nudge. “You okay?” He asked, his eyes showing his concern.
She looked back to the body again.
“He’s my best friend.”
——————
Wednesday had never liked the hospital. She had entertained the idea of being a surgeon as a child but ultimately she decided the environment was not for her. There was a strange feeling of unease that crept into her soul whenever she was in a waiting room.
She always avoided going to the doctor’s. She rarely got sick or injured, but when she did she would still try her best to avoid the doctor’s office. It’s not due to any kind of fear or trauma, she’s simply disturbed by the atmosphere.
Perhaps it’s because she knows that whenever you’re at the hospital, it’s never for a good reason. She’s not one to turn away the idea of misery, but something about sitting in a waiting room makes her stomach churn with discomfort. Especially when she’s in the waiting room.
Thankfully, on the few occasions she has been to the hospital, it was never for a truly bad event, not where someone’s life had been in danger. There was the birth of her brother Pubert, where she had to listen to an incessant rant from another girl who was also awaiting a new sibling. Something about a storm and a Diamond forming a baby for her parents. She found the look on the girl’s face comical once she revealed the truth on how children are conceived.
There was also the time when Pugsley had gotten a concussion. He had fallen from a tree outside. He was fine, he just had memory problems for a few months after.
But now, she was sitting in the waiting room in a formal dress soaked in red paint, and the boy she had grown to view as another younger brother was halfway to death’s door.
He had been whisked away as soon as the ambulance had parked, while Wednesday had been directed to a bathroom, told to clean herself up and given reassurance that the principal was on her way to come collect her.
She was alone in the bathroom, it was nearly midnight, and she allowed herself a rare moment of weakness. She felt sick. Incredibly sick. She went into a stall and cleared the contents of her stomach, the events of the evening catching her out of her prior shock. When she was done, she exited, taking water from the sink and cleansing her throat. She washed the paint off her arms and face, but made no move to clean the rest of her body, despite the uncomfortable way the paint was stuck to her skin and cracking.
She left the bathroom, finding a nurse who directed her out to the waiting room, which is where she found herself now. Weems and Thornhill had yet to make an appearance, meaning she was, once again, alone with her thoughts.
She sat there for some time, waiting for someone to come disturb her. She knew it would be a nuisance to her, but she would rather not be alone with only her mind at this time.
Thankfully, Thornhill and Weems showed up soon after. She took notice of how they had both taken time to change out of their red clothes and wipe the paint off of their faces. Miss. Thornhill was also carrying a bag with her, which she held out to Wednesday with a smile.
“I thought you wouldn’t want to stay in your current attire, so I had Enid pick out a change of clothes for you,” she explained.
Wednesday took the bag, finding one of her jackets and a shirt inside, as well as a thick pair of pants.
“Sorry we took so long, we had to get everyone back to their dorms after the panic from the Rave’n,” Principal Weems added. “Have the doctors said anything to you?”
“Not about his condition,” Wednesday answered. “I’m unaware of anything about his state right now.”
Miss Thornhill made a sound of pity while Principal Weems looked at her with a sadness in her eyes. “Go ahead and get changed, we can wait for the doctors in your place, I’m assuming you don’t want to leave.”
Wednesday nodded, looking at her clothes again. She looked back at the two women, who both flashed comforting smiles before sitting down beside her. The teenager stood up and walked back to the bathroom without another word.
——————
When Wednesday returned, she saw the doctors talking to Principal Weems. Miss Thornhill spotted her and approached her cautiously. “Hey Wednesday, come with me to the vending machine, I need to get some water after tonight,” she lied, trying to hide the scene behind her from the girl’s vision.
“What’s happening with Eugene?” Wednesday asked, trying to get past her.
“Nothing for you to worry about right now. But it’s confidential and should remain between the principal and the doctors until Eugene’s mothers arrive.”
“I’ll find out anyways. There’s no use in hiding it from me,” Wednesday snapped, secretly, she hoped Thornhill wouldn’t hear the concern and slight fear in her voice.
“I know, but you’ve been through a lot. You don’t need more bad news tonight,” Thornhill explained. She turned to find that the doctor had left, and Weems was standing beside her.
“I think you should take Wednesday back to the school while I wait for Eugene’s mothers,” Weems said, sending some kind of signal to Thornhill.
“No. I want to know about his condition,” Wednesday argued, glaring at both women.
“He’s…” Weems hesitated, and for a moment, Wednesday feared the worst. “He’s in a coma, and they’re not sure yet when, or if, he’ll wake up.”
Wednesday’s heart sank. She experienced different feelings, things she’d never felt before. Remorse, guilt, and more familiar emotions, sadness, and most prominent, Anger. She was mad. At herself, the monster, and Eugene.
“I told him not to go alone. Why didn’t he listen?” Wednesday muttered to herself.
“Take her home, Marilyn,” Weems ordered, the woman nodding in affirmation before wrapping an arm around Wednesday’s shoulder. The girl was too deep in her head to realize.
“Come on, Wednesday, we can come back tomorrow,” She whispered, trying to soothe girl as she guided her out to the car.
——————
The drive back to Nevermore was spent mostly in silence. Wednesday sat in the passenger seat with her red dress in her lap while Miss Thornhill hummed from behind the wheel. She seemed too cheery, and Wednesday could tell that she kept throwing glances her way. She was trying to distract both of them from what had happened.
“So, what did you think of the dance? I think that Tyler kid is a little cutie, don’t you agree?” Thornhill asked, trying to start a conversation to fill the uncomfortable silence.
“I shouldn’t have gone,” Wednesday answered, staring at the road ahead. She clutched the dress in her hands, uncomfortably more aware of the flakes of paint that lingered in her hair and on her skin.
Thornhill looked at her sadly, making a sound of an emotion Wednesday couldn’t name. Still, she hated the way it made her feel. “What happened to Eugene is not your fault.”
“It is. I should have known he wouldn’t stay put. I should have known and I should have gone with him instead of going to the dance,” Wednesday explained, growing slightly frustrated, whether at herself or Miss Thornhill she wasn’t sure.
“You had no way of knowing what was going to happen to him-“
“I did. I have psychic abilities. That’s how I knew where he was in the first place,” she swallowed thickly, the weight of the night hitting her. “I had a vision at the dance. But I had it too late, I couldn’t do anything to save him.”
Miss Thornhill stayed silent after that.
——————
Wednesday didn’t enjoy beekeeping as much without Eugene. She was taking notes of everything she did so she could inform Eugene later, the distraction keeping her mind from focusing on the absence. Even the bees seemed aware that he was gone.
She was alone in the Hummer’s shed for the first time since she’d been at the school. He had always been there with her, or she was with Enid, never alone though.
The loneliness didn’t last long, as a crashing outside alerted her to an unknown presence.
She opened the door to find Enid outside, having tripped onto a stack of empty crates. “Who leaves crates right there?”
“That’s where they always are. What are you doing here, Enid?” Wednesday asked, eyeing her suspiciously.
“Making sure you’re not alone,” the blonde girl answered. “I know you’ve been through a lot and you must have a lot on your mind. Plus, you usually have someone else here with you.”
Wednesday’s breath hitched slightly at the mention of her absent hummer before she turned back into the shed. Enid seemed to take notice of this and followed her in. “Are you ready for your parents to come? Its parents weekend.”
“It must have slipped my mind, I’ve been fairly preoccupied with other, more pressing matters,” Wednesday replied, sealing a jar of honey.
“How is he, do you know?” Enid asked, seeing through the walls of her friend.
Wednesday paused. Last she knew, he was in a coma and his condition was uncertain. She hadn’t seen Principal Weems since she had been shooed away from the hospital. “I don’t know.”
Enid frowned. “Well, maybe we can go visit him sometime, I’ll need to get away from my parents at some point or another.” She picked up the jar of honey as she spoke. “Maybe you should bring this to him. However he’s doing, I think a familiar taste would be good for him.”
Wednesday wanted to respond with a snarky reply on how people in comas can’t taste, but she wasn’t too sure of both if that was true and if she was opposed to the idea.
Either way, she placed the jar in her bag as she left the shed to follow Enid to the quad to greet their families. She made sure she had all her notes to read for Eugene during her inevitable visit when she needed an escape from her parents.
All she could do was hope he was able to it to see the progress for himself.

pairing: wednesday addams x supernatural!fem reader
word count: 5.1k
summary: wednesday has always thought she was destined to live alone without love, that is, until you come along, with a few negative first impressions.

-
“En garde.”
You pull the mask over your face, blowing the bangs out of your face, positioning yourself as students gather around.
“Prete,”
You face your opponent, both catching your breaths. It was the last round, the score was tied, seven to seven, and this round was the tie-breaker.
Wednesday faced you, the mask covering her stoic face as she calculated her moves to do. She couldn’t lose to you. She wouldn’t let it happen. Sure she had lost, once.
But the Addams never lose. It made Wednesday feel vulnerable if she did.
“Allez!”
Immediately, Wednesday lunges towards you, aiming for your stomach. You dodge her, moving to the side as you both begin to try and succeed. It’s silent, the occasional gasps and murmurs of who may win flooding around the circle.
After a few long seconds of dodging, grunting, and clashing sabres, you start to notice Wednesday’s tactics. She rotates clockwise each time she misses another hit since you take at least 2 seconds to get back up. So as you jump back from another lunge, you make sure to bend your knees as you charge diagonally.
The whistle blows as your sabre barely grazes her uniform.
“Halt!”
You pant, taking off your mask as everyone gasps. You had just beaten Wednesday Addams.
Gosh did it feel good to feel your hair breathe, looking around at shocked faces. Particularly the one that stood in front of you, taking off her mask and her eyebrows furrowing as the professor raises your arm, “Y/N wins the point, meaning she has won the match.”
Okay..
-
“That was so awesome!” Enid says, looking quite ecstatic. “Wednesday was like pow poom poom! But you were like, no, pow pow pow! You should’ve seen yourself! You were basically flying in the air!”
“It was not that dramatic,” you huff, giggling a little and walking to the quad with her, “I didn’t even want to go against her, I seriously feel like she despises me. I only went up because everyone started making me pressured to go there.”
It was true, when you first transferred to the school, something in Wednesday made her feel sick. You were a lot better than her in everything, and though you were the complete opposite of Bianca, whom always wanted to challenge her, Wednesday had the urge to prove herself.
It started when you answered Mrs. Thornhill’s question within seconds. A question that required at least a few minutes of calculating. She could swear she cracked her pencil in half as she immediately looked up with bulging eyes.
She didn’t know what the feeling was. She was always at the top of her class. It made her intrigued by you. And she’d kill anyone who said it was admiration.
Wednesday Addams did not admire anyone. It was a stupid word that had a stupid meaning.
-
“She’s some sort of mastermind,” Wednesday grits, pacing around her room as Thing taps around her bed. “First, she beats me at questions, and now fencing? She’s asking me for death.”
Thing doesn’t respond, making Wednesday turn to him. “What do you want now?” He makes a gesture with his hands as it takes the girl to process what he means.
“You stupid pathetic-” She grabs Thing, shaking him.
“Weds!”
Enid’s voice makes Wednesday immediately put down the hand, looking at her. “What are you doing here? I thought you said you’d be out shopping with your friends.”
The colorful short hair girl looks around, “Well, it’s been two hours, but I’m here now. And I brought a friend! I hope you don’t mind!”
Oh god. She’s gonna see the end of it. “Enid, one of you is already bad enough. How bad is it going to be if you bring a-” She turns around to see that the friend was you.
Oh.
“Wednesday, this is Y/N, Y/N, Wednesday.”
At this point, you both knew who the other was.
You look around awkwardly, giving a lopsided smile that didn’t really look like a smile. Was it nice to meet her? You didn’t know.
Wednesday’s eyes that stared into yours looked to the side, “I know. You’re interrupting my writing time.”
Enid, being next to you, immediately furrows her eyebrows. “You weren’t writing when we came in.”
“And why are you the judge of that?”
“We aren’t going to bother you.”
“Your presence already bothers me,” Wednesday says stoically, for some reason you felt like that was directed to you more than Enid.
You elbow Enid gently, “Let’s just go, we can crash at Yoko’s maybe.”
“Sure.”
As Wednesday hears the door close, a part of her that won’t go away itches at her, wishing that maybe she could’ve let you guys stay.
..
After your magic lessons and school overall, you always found yourself in the library. It was peaceful, filled with books, even random cats roaming on tables.
By the end of each day, to say the least, you were burnt out.
As you studied, you glanced at a plant near the window, slowly crackling. With no sun, how could it grow? It was gloomy here at Nevermore.
You placed a bookmark on your book and pushed it aside, focusing on the plant. Soon enough, it slowly drifted towards you, and plopped on your desk.
..
The doors of the library slightly opened and closed as Wednesday stepped in. Her hands were filled with cases and files of the Hyde, and well, many people of interest.
Unfortunately for her, she couldn’t stand Enid’s pop music, so she resorted to the library, looking for a place to sit.
She turned left, went straight, turned a corner, then turned back when she was met with a familiar figure.
An “oh,” fell from her lips as she watched your figure studying the plant rather than your actual work. You brought it closer to you, and then she saw the brittle plant begin to grow back to life, turning into a blue flower.
Something deep inside Wednesday’s chest twisted–she should be hating you.
-
A few days later, Wednesday was in the middle of her investigations. It was evening, and she was in her dorm the whole day alone, papers scattered everywhere, an evidence board up, an exhausted Addams.
A click of a door sounded as the girl turned around to be met with you and Enid.
“Weds!” The girl next to you hollers, “We’re having a girls night tonight. You should totally join, a sleepover, smores, study hall, gossip-”
“I’m going out tonight for the Hyde,” Wednesday says, flipping through the pages.
“The Hyde?” You ask, looking between her and Enid.
“Stay out of this,” she snaps.
You narrow your eyes, brushing the topic off as you look at the item behind her. “Is that seriously a decapitated hand?”
Thing raises his fingers at you, tapping on the desk he was on.
Immediately he feels himself be lifted up as you bring him closer, who’s currently floating. Wednesday tries not to watch but she turns to look at her companion that is now placed into your hands.
Most people would scream, instead, you look at him closely. “Hello, little one. I’ve never seen a creature like you before. What’s your name?”
The hand makes a few gestures, before you nod slowly. “Thing,” you mumble, testing his name on your tongue. “Suits you, you make me want to stitch you a little hat for Christmas.”
You place him back down, but instead, he jumps on your head.
“He never did that to me before!” Enid says, laughing as Thing happily rests on your head.
Wednesday can’t remember Thing doing that to her either when she first met him.
She keeps attention on her work as she speaks, “So, Y/N. How heavy can you lift?”
“Um.. My arms can handle maybe f-”
“I meant,” Wednesday gestures with her hands.
“Oh, uh, I don’t know.” You respond, taking one of Enid’s books as it drifts towards you and flips through the pages, before putting it away. “Usually anything I try lifting is able to lift, but if I’m being honest, I’ve only lifted lighter things. When it’s heavier, it’s like you need to put more effort to lift, and if it’s farther it goes the same for that.”
Wednesday slowly nods, looking away.
-
In the midst of night, the braided hair girl, wearing a snood, explores the dark forest. She had to prove that the Hyde wasn't a figment of her imagination.
A soft rustling noise sounded in the distance as Wednesday listened. She walked a little faster, coming across a tree with scratch marks. She nibbled her lip, taking out her camera to take a photo, before placing it back into her bag.
The sounds of leaves crackling grew newer, and before Wednesday knew it, she was met with.. You and Enid?
“What the hell are you doing here?” Enid whispered, looking freaked out. You just looked around, looking like you were just there for moral support.
“I told you, I’m looking for the Hyde. Gosh, Enid, I thought you were the Hyde.”
“Do you seriously just go out at night with no sense of self-protection?” You ask, shivering. It was freezing out here.
“It’s for the thrill,” she responds, her eyes slowly relaxing as she sees your shaking form. “And did you seriously go out at night in the cold with no jacket?”
“Well I only dressed for where I thought I was going to end up for the night,” you groan, kicking a rock on the floor.
“You two should probably leave, it’s dangerous out here.”
“Then why are you out?”
“Because I’m looking for-”
“I know, but shouldn’t you at least be more careful?”
Before Wednesday could respond, a loud growl sounded in the distance, thumps getting closer and closer.
“Mierda,” Wednesday breathed out, taking you and Enid by the collar and dragging you behind the tree. “We need to get out of here, I think it can distinguish us, damn it, it’s your perfume Enid.”
You pull out a perfume bottle and spray it onto a piece of paper you had in your backpack. “Okay, I need you guys to carry me while I do this. It’s a little risky, but I’d rather do this than die.”
“I don’t think-”
“Wednesday, let’s just do it,” Enid hisses as they both lift you up, Wednesday wrapping onto your torso as she sees the piece of paper fly away in your thoughts command.
Surprisingly, you were really light as Wednesday held you. And as the paper drifted farther and the Hyde chased after it, you suddenly grew exhausted. Where even were you again?
It was something you had struggled with, being able to withstand how far your abilities could go. And now that the item was far away and out of vision, your head began to pound and your eyes almost rolled back, like it was chasing the paper.
By the time the two girls carried you through the gates of Nevermore, your hand was twitching and you were close to looking lifeless.
“Y/N?” Wednesday shakes you, making you mumble the most incoherent noise she’s ever heard. “I think she’s tired out too much,” the girl says, carrying you inside her dorm.
She placed you on the bed, but you were clinging onto her like a lifeline, your eyes fluttering in and out.
“Let go of me,” the goth says, and Enid sits by. Eventually, Wednesday is next to you, eyes pointed as she sighs. “Why did you do that? We could’ve made it out if you didn’t.”
Unfortunately, you were a little too tired to respond, shrugging in replacement.
-
In the span of the next few days, Wednesday felt her feelings about you slightly shift. Was it in a good way? She didn’t know.
Mrs. Thornhill had moved seats, and of course, you were seated by her.
At first, it had ticked her off, the way you looked curiously at the plants more so than the lesson.
Then she started noticing the way you looked intrigued in your notes, eyebrows knitted as you scribbled neat words on your notebook.
“What are you writing?” Wednesday whispers, “She’s going over important information, Y/N.”
“The Declaration of Independence,” you say, smugly, before scratching your head as the girl gives you an unimpressed look. “She went through this yesterday, if I had a good pair of ears yesterday, then I won’t need them for this.”
“You didn’t answer my question.”
You turn to look at her as the bell rings for lunch. You stand up, walking to the doorway for lunch as she follows. “Why do you want to know?”
One of Wednesday’s eyebrows lifted, annoyed.
“Fine, I’m writing a letter to my older self.” You say, putting down your pen. “I like reflecting on how I’ve grown and I just talk about everything here, my favorite songs, people, things to do, goals I want to pursue by the next time I read it again, what I want to do in life, really anything.”
Your words weren’t what Wednesday thought they’d be as she blinks twice. She’s silent for a moment before she nods thoughtfully, “I see. That sounds.. Eventful. I didn’t think you’d be the writing type.”
You shrug, “Me neither.”
For once, you and Wednesday look at each other, a soft look on both of your faces.
Writing to your future self was stupid, she thought.
-
4/16
Dear Wednesday,
You attend Nevermore academy, you have been here for a year. And in that year, you have met many people, dare I say good ones for some? No. But you did meet some. I play the cello, I read. Is this boring enough? You met someone new. Her name is Y/N. She seems to beat you at everything, even the ones you thought you were good at. I feel almost annoyed, yet I can’t say much, considering the fact that she had tired herself out to save Enid and I. You like classical music, not Enid’s pop ear-bleeding ones. The less words, the better. As much as I love academics, I feel a sense of dread attending classes knowing I’ll be beaten. Where’s the fun in that?
6/24
Dear Wednesday,
You still like classical music, I must say nothing has changed. The case of the Hyde is still a mystery to be solved. Pugsley had visited, I’m thankful that little one has finally been aware how to fend up for himself, although I always do have a few tricks up my sleeve if he needs them. The month of the Poe Cup is arriving. The black cats had won last year, but merely because of our tricks. I’m almost shocked to say I’m excited, of course, not as close to watching horror movies. Of course not. I sometimes wonder if Y/N would join, would she be completely against it, then cave in like I once was? Or would she be the one to ask? Oh what could I be saying? I wonder if she would join the black cats at all.
6/27
Dear Wednesday,
Y/N is on the black cats, I’m not excited. Though I do think she will carry the trophy for us all. I have faith in us three.
7/2
Dear Wednesday,
We won the Poe Cup for the second time this year. She was the star of the show, she’s fast. We ask her to to poke a hole on a boat, she pokes 3 that even we didn’t see. We expect her to row her paddle fast, she somehow does, along with using 3 tree stumps. She’s a mystery to be solved. I’m carrying my mother's legacy, is this the start of a new streak?
10/5
Dear Wednesday,
The weather is growing colder, the seasons are changing and Jericho feels like a crisp breath of air. Y/N had written me poetry. But as the week progresses, she seems to be hiding a secret from me I can’t figure out It feels raw. Sincere. I’m learning the cello piece I overheard her talking about. Well, it’s not meant for the cello but we’ll make it work. She and Enid have been my company during nights when I’m searching for the Hyde. Nights where I’m alone, they fill the dark, and my sorrows have gone. Suddenly, the blank ideas for my novel have vanished. I just can’t figure out why.
10/13
Dear Wednesday,
Today is my birthday. And I think I understand why I thought Y/N was hiding something from me. She had gotten me a gift. I’m not sure why it had made me smile in the moment but it did. She had crocheted me a black cat, I remember seeing a white one on her desk and I was so intrigued by it that I asked her what it was. Now I have one of my own. Maybe that’s why they call it happy birthday.
10/25
Dear Wednesday,
Y/N has been helpful with our search for the Hyde, I think I’m going to take her along with my searches at night so she can help me lure the creature. I’m getting one step closer everyday she tags along. Her and I search the forests of Jericho till 2 hours after midnight sometimes.
10/28
Dear Wednesday,
Something in my chest tells me that Y/N is growing more tired by the day. I’m starting to feel worried. I shouldn’t let her abilities get out of control, shouldn’t let her stay so late knowing that she’s probably 2 times more exhausted than I am.
-
It was true, Wednesday had noticed that you began to feel drained out.
At first, they were small things, not fully comprehending a conversation, a small yawn every half hour or so.
But then Wednesday would see the bags under your eyes, your dozing off in class, missing out on Nevermore events.
Yet you still came with her every Hyde search. You felt like wanted you to come so she could talk to you, and if it was, sleep was something you could push aside.
And before she knew it, you were at the wrong place at the wrong time when Wednesday was in her dorm, talking to Enid.
“She’s clearly tired, Weds, I think you should let her rest.”
“But I’m so close to finding-”
You peek through the door crack.
“She’s only tagging along on the searches because she wants to be with you,” Enid says, her voice assuming. “Don’t you think you should stay with her here for one night so she can recharge? I know you like being with-”
“Enid, your reasoning is incorrect.” Wednesday mumbles, trying to deny what Enid wanted to imply. “I’m solely focused on finding out who the Hyde is, and Y/N is the only person who can do that for me. She’s one of the only students in this school that can do it. I’m not taking her because of my preferences.”
But even Wednesday’s voice was unsure, because she felt that deep inside, there was something lodged inside of her that enjoyed your late night thoughts.
That wasn’t the case for you as you bit your lip as Wednesday went on. “I don’t see anything in her-”
Your heartbeat was erratic, anxious. You were so blinded by her that you couldn’t even tell she was using you. She didn’t even like you.
Before you could hear more, you slipped back into the shadows, silently promising yourself that you’d shut yourself from everybody tonight, from her. just like how you always would so you could be alone.
-
Wednesday knew something was up. The next few days went by in a haze.
You would avoid her in the hallways, look at anywhere but at her during class, give her tight lipped; one response answers to her questions.
A day became a few, and Wednesday felt like she had done something wrong. She couldn’t help but realize how much she missed your stupid grin and the completely immersed look on your face whenever she was talking.
You didn’t go out to help her search for the Hyde anymore. You didn’t know if she had even gone on her journeys. It seemed like most times when you weren’t in school, you were sleeping. But Wednesday never believed that was what it was.
Night approached, and soon enough, the raven haired girl pulled up her snood and crept out the gates of Nevermore. She had heard small pitter patters behind her as she kept her eyes straight forward. “You’re not coming, Thing. Not today.”
Thing makes a snap of protest, still following her and she stops in her tracks. “No, go. I don’t need your help, I can do this on my own.”
In the midst of the night, the Addams disappear into the deep ends of the forest, a sniffling Hyde not far behind.
-
“What the hell do you mean she went out alone? It’s like, the coldest of the month and she didn’t even bother to take somebody with her?” You stared Thing down, your voice hoarse from trying to whisper loudly.
You shouldn’t be worried, she could take care of herself.
You just couldn’t get the stupid nagging feeling in your chest that something bad would happen. The same feeling that you felt in the afternoon that kept bothering you, the reason why you wanted to check up on her to find her gone.
“Well, Enid’s out with Yoko, and I don’t think anyone knows about Wednesday’s shenanigans except us.”
You walk out to the open balcony from Wednesday’s dormitory and look out. “What about we just go check on her? Not like I have anything to do anyway.”
Thing shakes his fingers incredulously.
“You can tag along to make sure I’m okay,” you sigh out.
-
You were only wearing a sweater, minus the fact you were holding Wednesday’s jacket with you so you could give it to her when you saw her. You didn’t want to have her freeze to death.
“It’s a little creepier than I remembered,” you say to your little companion. “Darker, too.”
The rustle of leaves sound here and there, the air blowing right through your clothes as you shiver. You keep Thing closer, wrapping him in Wednesday’s hoodie.
“Don’t look at me like that,” you murmur, “you’re basically like any other naked hand and I’m making sure you don’t freeze either, I’ll be fine, got a tanktop under this.”
A very thin one.
The leaves rustling and skidding of footsteps grow closer, a heavy pant sounding in the distance. The breeze, you think.
You keep walking forward, “Wednesday?” The flashlight that you’re controlling, floating next to you skitters around each tree.
“Is it me, or do I not remember hearing other footsteps half the time we searched for the Hyde?” You joke, Thing now clinging onto you.
“Wait a fucking minute.”
The last time you heard footsteps that weren’t yours or Wednesday was when you had first seen the Hyde.
You look down at the hand with a dawn of realization as the flashlight drops to the ground from your anxiety. And suddenly do you take account of the ground beneath you shaking as the Hyde approaches, its eyes tracking you in the dead of night.
Your wide eyes meet his as your feet take off.
No longer than 30 seconds later does a crying scream ring through the woods.
-
“What the hell do you mean she went out alone?” Wednesday yells, panicking, her heart going miles per minute as a worried Enid stands in the room awkwardly. Her hands trail through her cheeks, thinking, thinking. “I shouldn’t have gone out tonight, I should’ve known-”
Her snood was basically hanging off her shoulder as she tosses it to her bed and runs out to look through the balcony.
“Wednesday, let’s think this through, maybe she didn’t go into the forest-”
“Enid Sinclair, it’s 12:39 AM and you think Y/N and Thing would magically disappear to do something like go get a fucking sandwich?”
“I’m sure they’re okay, they’re together. And come on, you know that she’s been with you endless times before.”
“But she hasn’t came for like 2 weeks! I don’t even think I had gone out searching for the Hyde-”
“I think she’s still upset at you,”
“I know,” Wednesday says, sighing. She doesn’t know why you had gone out tonight, but she was worried.
After short moments of making quick decisions, Wednesday tugs Enid’s hand out of their dorm. “We need to go, I can’t lose her–them.”
..
It had been 10 minutes of searching and no sign of you or Thing.
Gosh, where are you?
Wednesday is frantically calling out your name, searching through each tree, her restlessness just growing more. Her eyes that were pointed straight around and ahead of her don’t take account of the flashlight. Her feet are just about to trip on till she actually feels herself tripping.
Her hands are filled with dead leaves as she squints in the pale moonlight, taking notice of a flashlight.
Your flashlight.
She holds it between her palms as she bites her tongue hard, forcing herself to move forward.
After a few long moments, Wednesday’s wide eyes can be seen in the night as they meet your quivering body curled up against the leaves.
Wednesday doesn’t pay attention to Thing, who's laying atop of you and moving around frantically. She doesn’t pay attention to how badly you're shaking. She only notices how there’s a large gaping scratch tore against your chest that blood trickled out of.
“Why would you go out alone? It’s freezing,” Wednesday says, her voice higher than she could control, her vision messy.
Your hand comes to rest atop of your wound, “I could say the same for you,” you joke softly, but she isn’t rolling her eyes or showing any emotion.
Instead, her lips are quivering and her eyes are searching all over you. You were wearing her jacket. She would’ve found it amusing, something that made her feel a little happy. But nothing.
“I just felt like I needed to know you were okay,” you say, your eyes drifting in and out.
“I thought you were dead,” she choked out, picking you up as she realizes just how much blood you’ve lost. It was all over her hands. “Don’t do that ever again, I’m serious. Or else I’ll handle you myself.” The addams says incoherently, shaking the tears out as Enid and Thing follow close behind.
“Wednesday Addams actually cares,” you say, trying to crack another joke with a weak voice.
“Shut up,” Wednesday says, but her voice is raw, not stopping the tears that escape her eyes. “Just shut up, it’s tiring you out and I can’t have you risking passing out.
She can’t shake the feeling that she’s losing you.
After a few moments of silence, Wednesday looks back down at your closed eyes. “Wait, Y/N, I didn’t mean it, no please keep talking. You have to keep talking so you can’t go to sleep. Shit, please.” She turned corners, you were so cold. “If you die, I’m not digging a grave for you,” she rasped, trying to keep her demeanor, though it already had fallen.
She keeps shaking you until you make a confused noise, your blood all over her jacket.
Your eyes were half open as you gave her a half-smile. “You’re so bossy, Addams.” Your voice trails off, eyes hazy, not knowing where you were at this point anymore.
Wednesday clutches you closer to her, running past the gates of Nevermore.
-
The beeping of the monitor beside you served as the braided girl’s lifeline. Her hair was tousled, messed up, but there were more things important than her hair, anyway.
Wednesday turned away from it, looking at your resting face.
“If you died, I would’ve dug a grave for you,” she said, her voice small. “I would’ve dug one and probably not even attend if it meant knowing that I had lost you. Probably would’ve sat next to it for days.”
You give her a silent breath, unconscious.
Thanks.
The next few days, Wednesday had read you her letters.
“I feel like I should share them with you,” she said, not expecting a response as she flips through the pages. “You are the reason that I’ve started them.”
She reads the pages out loud to your sleeping form, like a night time story.
Her eyes trace each word she had written, ‘I don’t like people touching me. But Y/N makes me not so sure. Her hands are like a soft murmur of sweetness I’m not used to.’
‘She makes me realize how big of a heart somebody can have’
‘I learned a song for her’
‘I learned a poem for her’
‘I wrote a poem for her’
‘She’s like the sun, her personality. I don’t really know how much I need it until I come here all dead. Then she comes and it’s like everything is okay again.’
-
“You better heal faster,” Wednesday says impatiently, sitting next to you. “I said I was sorry almost thirty seven times, I just don’t like sounding stupid in front of other people, even as much as I want to.”
“I literally am dying,” you respond, her words cracking a smile on you nonetheless. You look at the black dahlias on your bedside.
Her hair was down, rolling her eyes. “Well you’ve wasted enough of my time.” She said, though she didn’t mean it. She’d take more days off so someone could look after you.”
“Oh, careful Addams,” you say, putting a hand up in front of you. “Someone might think you’re worried about me,” you whisper.
She takes your hands in hers–her hands are like a soft murmur of sweetness I’m not used to. “Well, I’m not. And if someone thinks that, you better make a piece of tape fly to their mouth,” she says, in denial as she turns away from you.
But you had already seen another side of her. The side that you knew always existed in her. The side that was vulnerable, the quiet weeps of worry when you were close to death, the letters that expressed her apologies.
“Well you already have one person,” you say, your little finger poking her chest. She huffs, but her lips twitch up, “I think you’re hallucinating, then.”
She was glad you were okay. Would she have been months ago? She didn’t know. Would she have crawled into your hospital bed and let you rest against her months ago? Maybe not. But she was now.
Somewhere between the blurred lines, Wednesday Addams had fallen for you.

MASTERLIST

The rain creates a relaxing sound against the greenhouse’s glass as Miss Thornhill teaches. It’s so relaxing that you’re one blink away from the spectacular thing that is sleep. Your eyes feel heavy and slowly roll back every so often, it’s taking all your willpower not to fall asleep. Most of the other students are listening, and some messing about. Enid’s giggling can be heard which causes Miss Thornhill to send her a knowing glare with a raised brow. Enid, who is sitting a row down from you, quickly becomes quiet, her face turning red, almost like a beetroot.
You then avert your gaze to the girl sitting next to you, Wednesday. You can’t help but wonder how she has such good posture… with how straight she’s sitting, there’s no way on Earth her back doesn’t hurt. But, there’s no denying that you feel like you’ve got a back of an 80-year-old.
09:38
That’s what the clock reads. You groan internally, still another 22 minutes left of the lesson. At least you don’t have to write and give your poor hand a workout… right?
After spending the majority of the lesson talking about the plant that’s situated (in seed form) on every desk, Miss Thornhill finally instructs the class to plant it in their designated plant pot.
Wednesday takes the watering can before looking over at you with a deadpan expression.
You frown, too tired to even understand what she’s signalling. You stare at her blankly before speaking. “Wha-“
“-The seed.” She points out the obvious, her once deadpan expression turning into a slight glare at your laziness.
You take the seed out of the packet, placing it into the dirt but you jump, quickly pulling your hand away. “Fuck me! There’s a spider!” You push yourself away from the desk. If it wasn’t obvious by now; you’ve got arachnophobia.
Miss Thornhill’s eyes widen at the sudden commotion. She averts her gaze to you and Wednesday. You’re sat quite a distance away from your desk whereas Wednesday just rolls her eyes, returning to the task.
“Y/N, please. Be more mindful of your language.” Miss Thornhill affirmed, causing a few students to turn their heads. Her tone is stern but soft at the same time, giving her that nurturing presence.
“I’m sorry, miss- but I almost just died.” You protested an expression of disbelief painted on your face. Still shaken by the whole thing. It’s hairy legs… ugh. You close your eyes with a frown, shivering as you recall what you’d just witnessed. Your response elicits a few muffled chuckles from your classmates.
Miss Thornhill just sighs in response, crossing her arms and looking at you with a sympathetic expression. “If I hear any more of that language coming out of your mouth; you’ll get detention.” You let out a small sigh at her words, slumping down into your chair out of defeat.
Wednesday glances at you from the corner of her eye, an amused yet displeased look. “Remind me, why do I entertain you with my company?” She mutters, not at all amused by your little show with the spider.
You let out a small huff at her words, crossing your arms and moving closer to the table. “Where did it go?” You ask, warily looking over at the plant pot.
“I threw it across the classroom,” Wednesday replied nonchalantly. Placing the watering can back down once she’d finished.
Your eyebrows raise, looking over at her with a heartfelt pout. “Aww, thank you, Wends!” You jokingly put a hand over your heart, showcasing your ‘appreciation’ of such affection.
“I didn’t do it for you. It was merely a distraction to me. Don’t flatter yourself.” She responds, looking over at you with a glare. Her back is still as straight as ever and her arms are crossed. Deep down both you and her know she did it for you.
The bell soon rings, signalling the end of the lesson. You stand up, tucking in your chair before picking up your bag. Wednesday’s already gone, it’s as if she just vanishes into thin air the moment the bell rings. Not once have you seen her leave the classroom.
Enid quickly catches up to you, both her hands resting on her backpack’s straps. She smiles brightly, it’s sickening how happy she always is.
“So… Have you got Wednesday anything for good ole Valentine’s Day? You do know that’s tomorrow?” She proclaimed, her eyes wide with anticipation as she strides beside you in the hallway.
You let out a small sigh, rolling your eyes. “You know how she feels about that day. She ‘doesn’t see the point in such a frivolous and commercialised holiday.’” You mimic, making a bad impression of her.
Enid pouts, looking at you with puppy eyes. It’s irritating how nosy and obsessed she is with you and Wednesday’s relationship. It’s as though she doesn’t know what privacy is or what boundaries are.
“Come ooonnn, Y/N! Get her something!” She presses, it’s obvious you’re not going to win this. You clench your jaw, looking over at her before sighing. You hesitate before nodding. Enid swirls in response, jumping up and down ever so slightly which elicits a few glares from the other students in the hallway. She ends up bumping into a student, she’s too distracted apologising so you take this as a chance to slip away.

21:53
That’s what your phone read. Throughout the day you’d been thinking about the perfect gift for Wednesday. You’re lying on your back in bed. Yoko, your roommate, is down in the shower block, you’re alone. Your eyebrows suddenly raise, eyes widening.
Dissecting!! Dissection..? whatever.
You should catch an animal that she can… cut open? Whatever it is she does. You smile to yourself, fist-bumping the air at your spectacular idea. You take out your phone, searching up ‘popular dissecting animals.’
• frogs
• fetal pigs
• cats
You frown at the results… Not gonna kill a poor cat, where in the hell would you even get a frog and fetal pig?? You scroll down more, your eyes land on the perfect animal: a rat.
They’re everywhere, you’re also pretty sure that the school’s waste area is full of them. Easy target. You prepare for your rendezvous. Finding a carrier bag to put the rat in.
Shape-shifting into a bird of prey was your best bet at catching a rat. Especially with the limited time you had. You hate shape-shifting, your body always felt all yucky and tingly afterwards. But, as cheesy as it sounds; she’s worth it.
As soon as you sneak out of the building, the cool air hits you. It’s a clear sky, giving you a perfect view of the stars. The moonlight creates a relaxing and dark atmosphere. You walk to where the bins are. The autumn leaves crunch under your feet with each step. You place the carrier bag on the floor, making sure you’ll be able to put the rat in once you’re a bird.
You shapeshift into a hawk, perching yourself on a roof that gives you a perfect spot to spy on the area. Using the exceptional eyesight of the bird, you spot a rat. You keep your eyes locked on it, waiting for the perfect moment.
Spotting the perfect moment, you swoop down, you extend the bird’s leg, capturing the rat with your claws. You fly over to where the bag is situated, dropping the rat into it. You shape shift back into your human form, looking at the live rat. Wednesday would probably prefer it to be alive- at least that’s what you think.

05:00
Your alarm went off painfully early. Wednesday was always up early in the cafeteria. You saw this as a chance to give her the ‘gift.’ It may not be conventional but she’ll like it… right? In her own way.
You soon get dressed, dragging yourself out of your dorm and to the cafeteria. The plastic carrier bag in your left-hand carries the rat. It’s not moving, might be asleep or might be dead. You don’t know.
Wednesday is already there, she’s the only person besides the dinner crew there. She’s got a bowl of the odd porridge she eats every morning. You know better than to ask what’s in that. You wouldn’t be surprised if she had some bugs in there for ‘protein.’
“Hiya, Wends… Wed-nes.” You smirk, sliding yourself onto the chair opposite her. You know she hates nicknames but it’s not your fault she’s extremely fun to tease.
“Y/N.” She responds dryly, her eyes focused on her porridge. She’s happy to see you, though she’ll never admit it or show it, she is. She moves her eyes onto your face, a curious glint in them.
“You’re not usually up this early.” She states, acknowledging the fact that you’re not a morning person. It’s pretty obvious, you still look half asleep.
“I got you something for Valentine’s Day. Just hear me out before you say anything.” You plead, bringing the bag up and placing it on the table. Definitely unhygienic.
Wednesday opens her mouth to protests but decides against it. She sighs and lets go of her spoon, leaning over and looking in the bag. Her eyebrows raise ever so slightly. Not at all expect the Valentine’s gift to be an animal.
“It’s for the dissecting stuff. I don’t know what it’s called.” You shrug, adjusting yourself to a more comfortable position on the stool.
“A rat.” She hums, moving her gaze from the sleeping rat and onto you. Her face portrays the fact that she seems to be impressed.
“I don’t like such a commercialised and pointless day… But, I must say, I’m not exactly opposed to such a gift.” Her dark eyes analyse the animal in front of her. She nodded one last time before averting her eyes to your face.
You smile at her reaction. Glad that she reacted well. Wednesday on the other hand stares at you, she’s very much happy with such a thoughtful gift, but she’d never admit that- not while she’s alive anyway.
She looks around the cafeteria, making sure there are no prying eyes. She turns back to you and grabs you by your tie, pulling you into a soft kiss. The kiss conveys an unspoken ‘thank you’ from her. After a few seconds, she pulls away, going back to her breakfast.
⋆ ♰.˚🦇🕸️ˎˊ˗
Wednesday had been experimenting on the rat specimen all evening in Eugene’s shed. Holding a scalpel, she observes the rat’s organs, pulling the skin back with her gloved hands to see different angles.
By the time you’d arrived, she was finished. The shed was nice and clean, the rat nowhere to be seen and her equipment back in her satchel. Wednesday, still in the school uniform, pats her blazer down, making sure she looks presentable before turning to greet you.
“Hello.” She greets, her voice soft. She leans back against the desk that’s in the shed, her arms folded against her chest.
“I was entertained by the rat you had given me.” She says, her eyes fixated on yours before she continues hesitantly. “…Thank you.” She whispers, moving her gaze away due to the vulnerability she’s feeling.
You smile, just nodding in response. You understand she’s feeling a bit uncomfortable with how open and vulnerable she’s feeling, you don’t want to escalate those feelings. You move closer, eat step sending a surge of electricity throughout you. Your hand moves forward, gently taking her own. Leaning down, you brush your lips against hers allowing Wednesday to close the distance, which, she takes. Wednesday leans forward, capturing your lips into a dance with her own.
After a few moments, Wednesday pulls away, a small smirk on her face. She turns around and reaches for her black satchel. Her manicured nails brushed against the leather. She unzips the back and pulls out a harness- sorry… strap-on?
“How’d that even fit-“ She quickly cuts you off, lifting her cold finger to your lips, silencing you. A small amused smirk plays on her lips.
“The Addams family holds many secrets…” She purrs, her nails gently scratching your cheek, causing a shiver to run down your spine. Very relaxing. With skilled hands, she secures the strap-on around your waist, even through your clothes you can feel the cold leather. Her fingers linger, tracing the outline. You shiver at her touch, captivated by the intensity of her gaze.
“I might open up to this nauseating holiday after this…” Without wanting, she shoves you back roughly, causing you to stumble onto the floor. She straddles your body, the strap-on pressing up against her stomach. Her pale hands reach under her skirt, pulling her black lacy panties to the side.
“Inside. Now.” She says, her tone leaving no room for argument. You quickly nod, your hand wrapping around the cock and blindly positioning it at her glistening entrance under her skirt.
Once she feels the tip run against her, she lowers herself down. Impaling herself with the cock. A small sigh escapes her lips, eyes closed as she starts to move. Her hands on your shoulders for support.
“Guide me.” She coaxed, looking down into your eyes. Her face is flushed, hair slightly dishevelled. It’s a sight a single soul would never expect to see or happen. You obliged to her request- or demand, your hands move to her hips, helping her move. Her hips buck involuntarily now and then.
Over the next few minutes, her movements evoke small whimpers every so often and small sighs of pleasure. Her noises started to escape her cold lips more often, signalling she was getting closer and closer to the edge. Her forehead rests against yours as she continues to ride you, her moans and the sound of the cock entering her is all that can be heard. She kisses your cheek, letting out another small whimper as your fingers move to her sensitive bud under her skirt. Your thumb rubs tight circles against the swollen bundle of nerves, her hips grinding down on both your thumb and the cock.
“Oh- Th… That’s it, good… pet.” She whispers breathlessly, her tone betraying how needy she is for a release. Her nails dig even tighter into your shoulders, even through your blazer you swear she’s broken your skin. Wednesday’s teeth are gritted as her movements become more forceful.
“Bite my neck… Now.” Her hands bury in your hair, using it as leverage to push you into her neck. You open your mouth, your teeth coming into contact with her neck, biting down. She throws her head back, both out of pleasure and wanting to give you more access. The metallic taste fills your mouth, hearing her noises and the taste elicits a moan from you.
“Y/N…” She moans in a growl-like manner as she climaxes, her juices coating the silicone cock. You take your hand away as you move away from her. She collapses against you, breathless as she recovers from her climax. Her hips bucking and legs still shaking around you. She pulls back and looks at you with that same smirk as she did earlier. She presses her hands against your chest, pushing you so your back is fully pressed against the floor.
“Now… Be good, pet, and lick me clean.”

As a desperate lesbian who has been wanting a sapphic Wednesday portrayed for AAAAGES now, I still can't believe these things that the show gave me:
THE Wednesday Addams being shown jealous of a character that barely has any lines MULTIPLE times just because Enid mayyybe wants to choose said minor character as a roomie/bestie over her
BFFs Thing and Enid ganging up on Wednesday over her fashion sense and her pouting about it
Wednesday, who takes pride in her independence and relishes in isolation, admitting to have missed anyone is unthinkable. But she did! In her own way. Even if she was roundabout with her admittance, the fact that she got called out by both Thing and the goddamn villain shows how down bad she was during that fallout with Enid
"Thing said he missed you" and the way she visibly struggles against her nature to say "Skip the tape" with the tape symbolizing her breaking down her walls for Enid
something about Thornhill, who is played by an actress who also used to play Wednesday, telling this new Wednesday that she has to admit someday how much Enid has come to mean to her is just... ugh. Will never get over how much it adds so many layers to Wednesday's self-denial.
she held off all the insults in her bottomless vocabulary so she wouldn't completely offend Enid over the snood she made for her. She sugarcoated her words for Enid, which Wednesday NEVER does. In fact, it's the opposite of what she always does!
Enid VS Tyler bearing so much resemblance to that classic trope where the Love Interest saves the girl from the other Love Interest, even being a parallel to the fight between Gomez and Garret over Morticia
Enid lamented how she would never find a mate because she's not a real werewolf and would hence die alone, to which Wednesday remarks that it's a good thing in episode one. To emphasize Wednesday's apparent indifference to isolation, she is told that her nature as a raven means that she is fated to be alone like Enid feared for herself. In the finale, after Wednesday accepts that she doesn't want to be alone in the wake of her fallout with Enid, Enid finally wolfs out to save Wednesday. Enid made Wednesday realize that she doesn't actually like being alone, at least not when it meant she wouldn't have Enid by her side. In turn, Wednesday's life being threatened gave Enid the push to finally wolf out and, supposedly, now be given an opportunity to be eligible for a mate. I mean... I don't have high hopes, but the narrative is making it too easy to make it look like they were meant for each other
The heavy implication that Wednesday joined the Poe Cup because Bianca specifically said she wanted to make Enid cry over losing. The fact that she always deflected whenever Enid tried to confirm that Wednesday is doing it for her, but she never outright denied it!
"The mark you have left on me is indelible" and "I'll think of you" about Enid aksnnzzinsosnsj she gets sooooo sappy for herrrr
THE HUG. For people she's very very soft for, like her family, she only ever let THEM touch her. She's never show to start or reciprocate. SHE pulls Enid back into her. She holds Enid just as tightly, despite the injuries and despite Enid's pink coat. Enid toughens up for her but Wednesday is so vulnerable for her my god im so ill for them 💀
#wednesday netflix#Wenclair#might add some more later#i just have so many thoughts while im running on so little sleep#there was no goal to this post#i just wanted to ramble#im gonna pass out now byee

Can I request a Xavier Thorpe x reader where Xavier is really affectionate towards reader & Bianca is super jealous. Like they’re all in class and reader sits down next to Xavier and he pulls her chair closer to him & kisses her and plays with her hair throughout the class and Bianca gets jealous so she tries to use her powers to get Xavier to like her again but it doesn’t work because he’s so in love with reader.
Please. Ily
(Girl idk, I just be daydreaming lmao)
I decided to add my own twist to your request as I don’t like it to be too cheesy. I hope you still like it
my taglists are here + you can send requests here at any time

Textbooks in hands, you walked into Miss Thornhill’s classroom. Your eyes searched for an empty seat, the corner of your mouth lifting when seeing Xavier was sitting alone. His head was down, his gaze focussed on his sketchbook — as always.
You walked around the table to get to the empty seat. ‘’What are you working on?’’ you asked, putting your things down.
Xavier looked up for a short second to acknowledge you, then returned his attention to his drawing. ‘’Hey,’’ he greeted. ‘’Just something I saw in a dream. Getting the image on paper helps figuring if it’s linked to being psychic or a regular dream.’’
‘’And which one is this one?’’ You peaked at the sketchbook, seeing an old house with a gated fence.
He shrugged, using his finger to blend the pencil marks. ‘’I have not figured it out yet.’’
The bell rang, signaling the start of the lesson. Miss Thornhill walked in front of her desk, the heels of her red boots clicking on the tiles, instructing the class to open their textbooks to page 394.
You grabbed yours and flipped through the pages, but before you could get to the right page, you felt your chair moving as Xavier was smoothly pulling it closer to his. Sitting at the same table wasn’t close enough for his liking.
The small gesture awakened a pang of jealousy in Bianca, who was sitting at the table right next to yours. Her siren eyes were pointing daggers at you, in her heart still considering Xavier hers although they had broken up.
After class, you gave Xavier a quick kiss before parting for lunch to meet with Enid and the other girls from Ophelia Hall to talk strategy for the coming Poe cup tournament. The Black Cats were going to win this year!
‘’For the costumes, I was thinking we could—’’
Enid’s words got drowned as you saw Bianca coming up to Xavier, her neck bare. You never thought she would use her powers on him to get him back — it was twisted —, but love makes you do crazy things. You weren’t too worried, though. Xavier was safe from her persuasiveness. You had made sure of it by giving him a necklace with a special stone.
But you were very curious to see the look on Bianca’s face when she’ll realize her powers weren’t working.
Excusing yourself, you crossed the quad.
‘’It’s not going to work,’’ you told Bianca, surprising her from behind. ‘’I understand that rejection hurt, but if you have to go as low as forcing someone into love you, maybe you should check your morals.’’
‘’I don’t know what you’re talking about...’’ She gave you an innocent look. ‘’Xavier and I were just talking.’’
‘’I saw you, Bianca. You were going to hypnotize him. But, as I said, it’s not going to work.’’
The siren narrowed her eyebrows, still denying what she tried to do. ‘’Did you spike his breakfast with a love potion?’’ Her eyes flickered to Xavier, trying to turn him against you. ‘’She practices witchcraft, you know that, right?’’
‘’Love potions don’t make people fall in love. It only makes a person infatuated with another,’’ you corrected, shutting her accusation.
Bianca’s mouth curled into a smirk, not letting go. ‘’You seem to know a lot about the subject. Are you sure you haven’t used one before?’’
Having enough of the argument, Xavier tried to break it. ‘’Bianca, that’s enough!’’ he told her, his green eyes more than serious.

Wassup bro can you make a Wenclair x male reader where the reader is a stoner(i mean the one that smokes weed) and manages to hide it from both enid and Wednesday but get uncovered cause yoko got caught giving him his weekly stash
Contact High
Stoner Vampire, a bit of an underground term people called you. Thankfully it wasn’t near earshot of Wednesday. You were able to keep it under wraps by pretending to be a deep emotional vampire but in reality your brain was so fried you just asked questions that lead to just more questions than answers.
Relaxing in the Quad’s hall you tapped away on your phone, until someone sunk next to you. Yoko.
“Sup.” She leaned in, “The usual?” She asked, and you nodded.
“Where do you get this stuff?”
“Transylvania. Turns out there’s a patch of it in Romania that gets powered up by the moonlight somehow.” Yoko slips him a bag of oddly glowing leaves. (Y/n) is ready to return the favor Keith a roll of cash but Yoko stops him. “On the house, you saved my ass from Thornhills test so we’re even.” Yoko leaves and (Y/n) also, heading down to his room he thought it was a sure shot, unfortunately someone was following him. Stepping from out of a corner Enid folds her arms as he halts to keep from bumping into her.
“Enid! You.. need something?”
“No, I just wanted to see why you missed Class.”
“Oh, yeah I’ve been.. sick.” He lied, and while Enid wasn’t a genius she was no fool and pouts. Obviously upset as his lie, Enid taps her foot and a shadow emerges from behind him.
“In some way what you are doing is a sickness.” He turned around to face Wednesday. Who somehow snuck up on him, Enid snatched the bag from his hand with more strength than he expected. Enid sighed and really let him have it.
“Is this why you skipped class? Seriously?” She gripped the bag, and got closer to him.
“Your scholastic skills are dwindling as is, and frying your brain with this isn’t helping.”
“It’s not what it looks like, I just.. like to feel alive, you know?”
“Alive? You’re standing right in front of us, you’re obviously alive.” Enid frowns, and (Y/n) took off his glasses to look at Enid, as she came to the realization that he’s a vampire, he’s dead. Enid relents, “Oh.. yeah that makes sense.”
“Going about it with this is foolish, what do you gain from smoking.. this.” Wednesday asked, and (Y/n) smiled.
“Well.. why don’t you join me and find out.” He took the risk and Wednesday scoffed.
“Do you really think we’d debase ourselves in order to achieve some superficial sense of reality?” She said..
Wednesday, Enid and (Y/n) lie on the ground in a row, eyes slightly red as the aroma of weed fills the air.
“Okay.. so.. if you drop soap on the floor, is the soap dirty, or is the floor clean?” He asked, Enid raised an eyebrow. “Ooooooh.. good question.” She muttered.
“Obviously the Soap is dirty… even things meant to destroy germs can be infected by it.”
“Oh, yeah that makes sense.” (Y/n) looks back to the roof. Silence, until Enid said something absolutely mind blowing.
“If you’re at a restaurant.. and you’re like, waiting for your waiter.. doesn’t that make You the waiter?” She said, Wednesday and (Y/n) opened their mouths to speak but were mentally stunlocked by the question.
“Holy shit.” (Y/n) turns to Enid, “You are.. a genius.”
“Really?” She smiled, Wednesday sat up, and turned to them with a slight panic.
“Is… is there a Synonym for.. Synonym?”
She lied back down as the three began to ponder such a question, for what seemed to be an eternity,
