when i’m talking about people who a doctor said “yeah that’s penis enough” or “yeah that’s vagina enough” they were assigned male and assigned female. that’s the event that separates them. from my perspective saying idk “people with penises” isn’t correct bc 1 people get surgeries to remove or add things in both trans and health surgeries and 2 if your genitals are “male enough” that you were assigned male but you have noticeable female aspects to your genitals does it exclude you to say penis?

i call MYSELF afab because my experience growing up female has affected my gender identity and i know you can call yourself whatever you want bc it’s your own experience, but since people started arguing about the term i don’t know what to call people anymore when i’m talking about human bodies (like in the last thing i reblogged, I’ll stay off tumblr a bit so you can actually find it. also bc i have class soon. I’m not saying that when i see a person in the street i need to point and say AFAB lol).

It depends on what you're talking about. People with penises is in fact vague! It includes micropenises, can include clitoromegaly depending on the scenario, penises, tdicks, etc.

We should be getting more specific. For example, if we're talking about penis health or dpecifically foreskins, say people with foreskin. If we're talking about prostates, say People with prostates. If it's inner labia or outer labia, say that! People with a womb, People with cervixes, etc.

Again, it depends on the question. For the second part, the penis is what would have been the clitoris had there been those hormones in the womb (or the lack thereof) or they were androgen resistant. It is not what would have been the vulva, womb, labias, cervix, or the ovaries.

If they had somewhat female genitalia (say, the scrotum or testes weren't fully developed, they had a womb (undeveloped or not), etc.) then they would apply to those type of questions/groups (people with a womb etc.). Depending on the scrotum and testes development, they may or may not be included in people with vulvas, or people with testicles/scrotums. In most cases you'd either just listen to both advice and see if that applies to you or just try all the advice.

Basically, if they consider what they have is a penis, it's a penis, especially if they have a glans. Just remember penis is not all of the sexual organ, same as vulva.

Also with trans people that got bottom surgery, it still applies to them. If you're saying people that were BORN with x genitalia, then they'd still be included because they can still answer. Again, different topics need different specifics.

Whatever gender you grow up as doesn't have too much to do with your AGAB rather than your SIG (socially imposed gender), at least not once you hit puberty. The thing about agab is that it is often not necessary to talk about and it's annoying as fuck when people bring it up unnecessarily. It says nothing about what genitals you have, what you look like, how the hormones in your body work, or how you grew up. All it is is an event that happened when you weren born where a doctor looked at your genitals and made their best guess.

Like, it is unnecessary to say "I'm amab/afab nonbinary how do i look more androgynous :)" because bitch!! that doesn't give me any information 😭 And people often just use it as a way to be like "Oh yeah I'm afab/amab so I have a vulva/penis". Like, did we forget about how people do not need to know wtf is in our pants? It's not necessarily an identity but an event that happened.

Azul is annoyed from the moment it comes up.

He thinks that this meeting will be about business and instead... It's about Jade. Jade? Not even the twins, literally JUST JADE.

He wants to sigh but withholds it for the first half to be polite.

[Name] is very passionate in their rant[?] about Jade.

They say many phrases that Azul does not understand.

He knows many things... slang just isn't one of those things.

He hardly understands why they are so captivated by Jade.

Jade isn't a bad person, outright, but to Azul, he's just... been there. The same could be said of Jade's twin brother, Floyd.

Azul wants this interaction to be over, it's awkward.

This is getting tiring for the young merman. What even... is this?

As it continues, Azul finds himself starting to see their point.

This octomer maybe realizes that he is bisexual during this interaction. But he's not sure he wants to think about that yet.

He does not intend to help [Name] woo Jade unless they ask.

Azul was quite sure he didn't plan for this today. It wasn't on his schedule, he couldn't imagine why it would be. Who let them in? He sighed at the thought. He knew that this was an esteemed guest of the Mostro Lounge, he should be nice to them, they were a "friend" to him now, after all... And he valued them within reason...

Floyd had gone as far as to say that he and [Name] were the "best" friends of the group. Azul didn't really care. But he supposed the value must be true if the twins were interested. Jade seemed equally enthusiastic about this when it had been discussed.

Sigh. But this? This was pressing every button he had in the worst of ways and he was having trouble ignoring it. Every word grated on his last nerve and made him want to scream (and that would not be good for his image!).

"[Name]..." he began, only to be cut off by their (ongoing) speech.

"Azul! Don't you just love Jade?"

Azul paused. What? What did [Name] just ask me? Had he misheard them? He had to have misheard them. There was no way...

Composing himself, he answered.

"He is an associate of mine, yes—"

He was cut off by [Name] before he could finish the sentence.

"But isn't he dreamy?" they asked him.

Double what? Oh, this was happening. Joy.

"Well, you see—" Azul began, trying once more to explain before he was cut off again by the over-excited Prefect of Ramshackle.

"I just think he's so babygirl."

"You... what?" Azul said, turning to them with enough force to be cause for worry about the state of his neck.

"I said—" [Name] attempted to repeat before he cut them off.

"No, I heard you," Azul told them, "You consider Jade as a woman?"

This had to be some kind of land thing. Right? That, or he was once again spending too much time with books and not enough time with real people. It was just as his mother and grandmother had always said back home under the sea. He sighed at the very memory of it.

"No?" [Name] said, "Well, I mean, unless I should. Should I?"

Azul thought about it for a moment. Jade wasn't one to care about gender but he had never mentioned anything about womanhood. Noting that he answered their question with honesty.

"...He hasn't said anything to me about the matter."

"Oh, good. I wouldn't want to misgender Jade."

[Name] seemed relieved.

"You. I. You?" for a moment, Azul was at a loss for words, "Nevermind. [Name], what in the world has you so captivated with Jade today?"

They seemed to melt a little at the mention of Jade's name. They were clearly... invested in Jade. Surely this wasn't normal? Was it?

"He's just so—"

Azul sighed, cutting them off to explain he understood the concept.

"A young girl, I heard you the first time," the octomer said.

"He's just so perfect I can't even right now!!" [Name] gushed.

A second sigh escaped Azul, he wanted this moment to end. It was painfully awkward to hear about his... colleague like this. Not to mention inappropriate! They should just go tell Jade about this interest they had. Why him? What did he do to invite this?

"That makes two of us, though my frustration hardly lies with Jade."

"Hm?" [Name] asked, confused by the statement.

What did Azul mean by that, exactly?

"Nothing, nothing," Azul assured them through gritted teeth.

Like that, [Name] was back on their Jade high.

"Just... Jade."

"Indeed, er, I suppose," Azul said, relishing in the quiet that grew between them as [Name] observed Jade working from afar.

Jade and Floyd were waiting tables today. Floyd had complained that he was not in a "cooking mood" and decided that running orders around the lounge was much more "fun." That one gave Azul a headache, but that was normal.

Regardless, Azul only had one thought as [Name] watched Jade...

Silence! Sevens, finally.

But as he took a moment alone with the subject, his mind wandered down every path that [Name] had suggested about Jade, about the world. What would be different if Jade were a woman? Was Jade attractive? These were possibilities that Azul had never entertained.

It was enough to push toward a headache if he wasn't careful. Too much new information could be harmful to the mind, he knew this well. But it was something that his thoughts seemed to hook into, holding on tightly as if to say "Try to take this from me."

Azul's mind was a montage of every moment between himself and Jade (Floyd was also there but that was not important at the moment) since they had come to land. From Land Camp to Night Raven College... He had spent a lot of time with Jade.

Had something changed? For him? Jade? Anyone? Floyd?

...Maybe not Floyd. Unless? Hm, the twins in this light. Men in this light. Men? Men? Oh, dear. Well... it was something to think on. Something to not tell Mother, or Grandmother... or Stepfather...

"..."

He stood silently until [Name] poked his shoulder.

"Uhm... Azul? Are you okay?" they asked him, seeming a tad worried.

"Hm? I am fine, I suppose. You've given me something to..." the octomer trailed off for a moment, "Think on, I suppose."

"I did?" they asked, confused at the statement.

He didn't want to elaborate on this just yet. Too soon, far too soon.

"You did," he told them, "Just some... New information."

"Oh," [Name] said, "You're welcome, then?"

They laughed albeit a bit awkwardly as they spoke.

"SHRIMPY!!" a voice rang out from across the room.

Ah, they were noticed by a moray. The moray was sprinting toward them, closing in. Closer, closer... Target acquired. Squeeze. It was much gentler than when Azul instructed Floyd with clients.

"Hi, Floyd!" [Name] greeted him.

"Heyy," Floyd offered, "What are you doing with Azul, huh? Is he keeping you to himself?~"

[Name] tilted their head to the side at the question. What did Floyd mean by that? They liked Jade. They thought Floyd knew that but they shrugged it off as a Floyd-ism.

"We were just chatting," they told him.

"Maa, sounds boring! Wanna come play with me?"

Azul was almost thankful that there was a distraction from his obvious inner confusion. He had to hand it to Floyd's eccentricities, they came in handy sometimes (not often, but sometimes).

The eelmer picked up the human and slung them over his shoulder with ease. This was why people were scared of Floyd. He has monstrous physical strength.

"Eh?? Floyd, where are we going?" [Name] asked him, holding onto his shoulder to keep from accidentally falling onto the floor.

"We're playing 'Let's Bother Jade'!" Floyd told them, running toward his brother at the same speed he'd run towards [Name] earlier.

Azul turned to see Floyd (and [Name]) inches from colliding with Jade (who was holding 4 plates of food)...

hiii! ty & i hope you are as well :) and sure! here are the most recent photos of their home, except i haven't redone venus' room yet now that she's a (pre)teen. it was sooo hard to find a house with enough rooms and space for them.

it's always gonna be a wip bc it's always changing. i really need to give eva, judah, and kato a better bedroom. it's so bland compared to everything else. also if you see windows missing nO YOU DONT.

i play with aging on ( though i'm quick to turn it off when things feel rushed ), but i don't think my age settings are very consistent lol. i'm so bad about moving tf on. i like really long and drawn out gameplay. i feel like it gives me time to really develop every sim and get to learn their personalities, likes/dislikes, etc. i mean, i've been playing w my current sims for years and i haven't made it past gen 2 in either of my saves. i used to get really bored with my sims and gameplay in general (school, job, marriage, baby, repeat) because i wasn't that attached to any of them. i never got to know them or have them accomplish anything because sim days are so fast. playing w long lifespans allows me to get everything i want done in each life stage and it's honestly made me love my sims that much more. fun fact: i created eva and her save for the sole purpose of wanting to try out short lifespan gameplay ( for quick casual gp + less screenshots so i could just enjoy the game w/o the pressure of posting) and i told myself that i'd stick to it....and well, we see how that went. also i do like seeing my sims age, even if it's bittersweet, though i'm not looking forward to any of my sims dying. i've never had a sim that i actually care about die :(

settings: newborn 7 days, infant 14 days, toddler 16 days, child 28 days, teen 28 days, young adult 40 days, adult 60 days, elder 60 days.

also each season lasts 2 weeks in my game. i wish it were longer, but i absolutely despise winter in game.

actually i don't think i've ever put my thoughts out there about why i'm on team sequel for plza so i might as well throw them out into the ether before it all becomes moot in less than 24 hours:

i feel like people generally agree that pokemon z never coming meant that gen 6 never really got to reach its full potential. obviously, plza isn't going to fix those games, but i would love to see them take another crack at that setting to see if they can't learn from their mistakes and elevate the characters and plot concepts from xy that people have been lukewarm on in the past. like, i don't really care in the slightest about trevor, tierno, and shauna, and i know i am absolutely not alone in that. i would love it if this game could make me care about them. or with zygarde, it'd be cool to see how it actually winds up tying into the present-day story, since i assume whatever plotline they spin with it will be in some way inspired by the scrapped plans from z. and on a more selfish note, a sequel set entirely in lumiose city sounds like the perfect opportunity to do more with emma, one of the most underappreciated characters in the franchise.

so, like, mechanically, how is this game gonna work? how are they gonna fit an entire pokedex into a city environment? what seems like the most logical option to me is that over the course of the game, as we help develop lumiose city, we're gonna be doing stuff that brings pokemon in, like building parks and such, so that by the end of the game, we'll have created a city that wild pokemon of all shapes and sizes can comfortably live in. that... doesn't really sound like present-day lumiose city to me. sure, humans and pokemon live together, but it's not notably more well integrated than any other city in the pokemon world. i think it may feel a bit discongruent if the lumiose city we create in the past doesn't line up with the lumiose city of the present. (again, this is all based on my assumption of how the gameplay progression will function with basically no evidence as of yet, but it feels like a fairly safe bet to me?)

with what little information we have, it's generally assumed that this game will be based on the haussmann renovation, a public works project from the history of paris. one of the neatest connections we have that ties this together is the fact that the haussmann renovation was roughly contemporaneous with the start of the meiji restoration over in japan (which is what pla was based on). which is actually pretty cool! it means that a plza set in the past will be taking place at either the same time as, or slightly before, pla (depending on how much game freak wants to smudge the years around). and honestly, i don't have a problem with this on its own. i think tying the games together like that through real-world history is a lot of fun. my main concern is that i don't entirely like setting the precedent of legends games taking place specifically in the mid-to-late 19th century. one of the big things that immediately made pla stand out was how novel and unique its setting was, and i would like to see future legends games continue to try new things like that rather than settle into a specific era.

with all that said, i will still be excited for this game no matter which time period it chooses. i'll welcome a new cast, i'm sure they'll find a way for the progression to make sense for the time period it's in, and two's not a pattern when it comes to things like this. it's just super fun to engage in this sort of speculation when we have so little known for certain and so much excitement for more.

“that was a good movie,” mammon yawns from his spot next to you. the couch creaks underneath as he shifts his weight to the other side. 

“yeah, it was.” the time on your d.d.d. screen reads quite late, numbers back in the single digits as you stay up past the threshold of a new day. “it’s probably a good thing it ended up having a ballroom scene. at least i know what i’m supposed to look like tomorrow at the gathering.” 

mammon tilts his head at your remark. “you’ve been to plenty of his parties before. what’s new about tomorrows?” 

“the fact that i have to dance.” you sigh at the idea, face falling as you utter the word. 

the demon sits upright now, expression contorting as he tries and fails to see where the nerves are stemming from. “what’s wrong with dancin’?” 

“mammon, i don’t really know how to dance.” 

his eyes meet yours, sapphire glinting with sudden adoration and tenderness. “never too late to learn, MC.” suddenly the embodiment of proper etiquette, mammon bows to you, extending a hand in invitation. “dance with me. i’ll lead.” 

“you’ll laugh at me,” you hesitate.

“not this time,” he assures you.

you’ve always known your limits. you know what you can and can’t do, and dancing has always been on the “can’t” side. but perhaps, with mammon easing you along, you can surpass that limit just for tonight. your hand slides into his, holding fast and locking together as though your fingers were meant to be with his. mammon guides your other hand to rest on his shoulder before he takes hold of your waist. when you gain the courage to look up at him, mammon tears his gaze away from you. you can hear him muttering an excuse, but the close proximity has your heart pounding in your ears. somehow, you manage to choke out an apology (for what, you’re not sure), but the smile he gives you in return begins to soothe the noise that roars in your head. 

mammon begins, despite his prior embarrassment, to instruct you, always adjusting to your pace. your steps are slow and heavy, yet mammon remains patient amidst it all. you begin to harbour your doubts, brows furrowing as you try and speed up, but mammon holds you steady when you stumble, pressing a kiss to your forehead. his lips brush against your skin as he reminds you that you’re still learning. 

a part of you grows frustrated; you should have started learning earlier or refused to dance altogether. and yet, another part remains calm, soothed by the way mammon’s breath fans across your cheek. your steps eventually match mammon’s, bodies attuned to the ending music of the movie credits, and to each other. 

in the gentle glow of mammon’s room, you learn to dance. and underneath his touch, you learn just how much he loves you.

Voyager rewatch s7 ep9: Flesh and Blood

This is a two parter they aired as one double length episode, but honestly I think it could have been a regular length episode. It didn't feel particularly special or epic, and there was a lot meandering around the same points over and over, which could have easily been condensed. I'm tired of having so many Doctor-centric episodes so close together- they've been focused on him so much that I started to forget that some of the other characters even existed. I was actually taken by surprise when Chakotay appeared on screen in this one- I literally thought 'oh, he's a Voyager character too! That's right! I forgot about him!' And that's not good!!

Even beyond my dislike of the Doctor as a character, I'm not super into episodes that debate hologram rights, since artificial lifeforms personhood was already established in the Next Gen episode 'The Measure of a Man', and also because I just don't think they should be making sentient holograms in the first place. AI is just not something humanity needs to create in real life, and I'm not into it in fiction either. Sentient computers are totally unneccessary, they will always end up killing us, it's never gonna be good! Didn't anybody read Frankenstein?! Obviously the Hirogen didnt, because they used the holodeck technology Voyager gave them in 'The Killing Game' to create holographic prey that learns and adapts, which ends up turning on them, and killing them instead.

While I do appreciate that they made an attempt to have some continuity from The Killing Game', I think it's kind of negated by not tying it back to that story's theme of the forward thinking Hirogen trying to change their way of life for the better. It would have been more interesting to see what effect the concept of simulated hunts had on their society, rather than just having them program the holograms to be too smart, so now they're killing everybody. Since these are different Hirogen than we met in Killing Game, that implies all the Hirogen just embraced the holographic hunts easily, which seems unlikely, but ok. I'd honestly have rather had a story fleshing out the Hirogen culture as more than just bloodthirsty hunters (with no women apparently???), since they're very one dimensional when that's all we see of them.

But once again, it ends up being a Doctor story, since the rogue holograms kidnap him and try to recruit him to their cause of hologram liberation. They say they only want to find a planet of their own to live in peace, and they try to convince the Doctor to join them. It seems to work, because the Doctor is swayed enough to betray Voyager to help them, even though he knows they've killed lots of people, and altered his program so he would experience what they did in the hunts in an attempt to gain his sympathy. If holograms really are as much real people as flesh and blood people, then messing with their minds without their consent should be no-no, but I guess the Doctor is cool with people who violate his rights as long as they're holograms too. But this is apparently not a red flag for him, since he decides to go live with the holograms when they reach the planet. (Wtf?? He's that easily persuaded to leave Voyager? I guess it's not the first time though- I honestly wish he would just leave for good if he hates them all that much- I wouldn't miss him!)

They end up kidnapping B'Elanna too, so she can help them set up a new holo-emitter they need to live outside of their ship. She's obviously not happy about it, but she strikes up a friendship with the hologram's engineer, Kejal, who seems much more reasonable than their increasingly fanatical leader, Iden, whom the Doctor has become friendly with.

At first, Iden seems reasonable, but he gradually slides into thinking he's a god. (Once they start inventing patriarchal religion, you know bad shit is gonna go down!!) The Doctor finally realizes that Iden's a little crazy when he says he doesn't want any organic art forms in their hologram society- and tbh, I think realizing that Iden hates opera, and won't want to hear him sing ever, is the real reason the Doctor decides to go back to Voyager again, lmao. But then Iden starts attacking ships, stealing their holograms, and killing their crews for no reason, and the scales finally fall from the Doctor's eyes, and he agrees to help stop him.

Voyager had been tracking the Hirogen ship that was tracking the cloaked holograms, and with their help, and that of Kejal, they manage to disable the holograms after Iden decides to hunt the Hirogen for sport like they did to him. They rescue B'Elanna and the Doctor, and the Hirogen engineer Voyager rescued decides to join forces with Kejal, to reprogram the rest of the holograms so they won't be vicious killers anymore, in the hopes they will finally live in peace.

Once again, the Doctor gets no consequences for his actions, despite having quite literally betrayed Voyager by giving the holograms information that allowed them to disable and almost destroy the ship. By going along with them for so long, it led to the deaths of a transport ship crew, and a dozen more Hirogen. Janeway says it's okay though, because he's just doing what he believed was right, and she has to treat him like a real person- but even if he were a real person, his actions are still very much not okay!!! Tom did what he thought was right without her persmission once, and she threw him in the brig for a month! Harry got in trouble for having sex with someone without asking permission! But the Doctor put Voyager in danger, got people kidnapped and killed, and he gets no punishment?? What??? I guess rules are for the rest of the crew, but Seven and the Doctor are so special that they're above the law and get to do whatever they want! Ok, fine, whatever, Seven and the Doctor are always right and everyone else is always wrong, got it! *eyeroll*

Once again, we wasted not one, but two whole episodes on the Doctor, who learned nothing, and will not be a better person for it going forward. Despite the extra long run time, the plot still felt kind of jumbled and hard to follow, and the scenes with the Doctor and the holograms felt repetitive and tiresome.

Tl;dr: Yet another pointless Doctor episode that didn't have anything new or interesting to say, and failed to give him any real character growth yet again. Could have easily been a shorter episode, or better yet, a different storyline all together.

ACK TY THIS MAKES ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER. I genuinely like tumblr but I have had minimal online presence anywhere else so my online etiquette as a whole is lacking so I am trying my best to learn. (And tumblr is pretty open in how you can interact with it, so I’m learning on hard mode lol)

The community I’m in can be pretty negative/criticism heavy so I forgot how it might feel to have people point out the flaws in something you post or reblog about, and that was my bad. I wouldn’t like that in my artwork or my text posts. I then realized I subconsciously wasn’t respecting gif makers by complaining about something on a gif set… When they actually do a lot of wonderful work for the community. Thank you gif makers you guys are so damn cool! <3

I say a lot of things in a lighthearted manner that doesn’t mean to offend but it clicked that criticism is still criticism and complaining is still complaining even with an upbeat tone or if it’s sandwiched between a joke. It’s still hurtful! And now I know that so I can avoid doing it.

Welcome! Happy to share~ Beta content had been pretty much my childhood, and pokemon in particular had been eating good a lot lately. It's surreal how far we've come back when pokemon's beta hints were small and vaguely sprinkled (such as design docs of pokemon as a concept pitch, or little things like the bird typing's existence as exposed by glitches like missingno), and the only hints otherwise were eye witness accounts or what former and present people at Gamefreak were willing to share.

You're right too that it has been very affirming to see the process of how a pokemon design starts and how it led to what we know of them now. Just seeing the entire process (as almost forbidden-knowledge as it feels at times, and more with how these leaks come about in other times), it also feels... kind of humbling? That we're not so far off from a lot of creators we end up making fandoms around. Just when we only see this:

It's easy to lose sight of how it took all of this to get there:

And even the concepts themselves are just so fascinating how much times changed that what info we started with were things like these:

And now we're in an era we can actually see more of those one-off stuff in-process like these:

Even the stuff we found tells so much history about the game and the design, from the little things like how Lugia's concept name as "Pokemon X" was more on-the-nose originally:

To things like what we learned from the past leak and this new one of the kind of design direction the pokemon designs took that we couldn't see from the outside.

For instance? In the past leak we had a lot of general ideas, some familiar that they probably (or definitely) evolved into pokemon that we know and love, but others took a bit of a jarring turn even by pokemon standards.

We had all of these pokemon before who look fit for a horror aesthetic, or a more mature-minded design direction (like we would eventually see in a lot of digimon, monster rancher, and yokai watch designs, among others) and these are so far-removed from typical pokemon designs aiming for simplistic designs and easy-to-draw rules that you could easily tell people these were from a different game altogether, and it would be really easy to believe it. But then in light of the new leaks, we got designs like these:

Almost identical to the same design principle as those jarringly-different pokemon, no? So it's like this was attempted many times to have unsettlingly-complex designs time and again in development from gen I thru Gen III and then attempted yet again on and off even into BW/Gen V, but it was settled to make them generally consistent every time and going forward. We did have designs that bordered on complex, mind (groudon and kyogre, xerneas and yveltal, pokemon of those sorts), but even their complexities didn't reach this kind of darker and mature-ish tone like these ones.

For all my misgivings with Nintendo as a company entity, or not liking how often and constant the fandom rivalries get whenever there's a new mon series to the family genre and Pokemon happens to be front and center in the thick of it always, as a game with such a huge and vibrant history behind the scenes in what crumbs we get of its development, it's always an amazing sight seeing how much the series tried to evolve the way it has, and it's near and dear to me whenever we get more glimpses of the process.

Their sire is Francis Gray, a neonate anarch brujah who stumbled on their band, bleeding out in an alleyway, after a sabbat attack at one of their gigs. He used to have a punk band in the 70’s, sticking with the scene even as the world changed and his old friends got older. He’s forever 16 😭 so sorry to him… When he embraced WSFF (trying to save them as best he could) he broke a few major rules that resulted in him owing the cam a life debt. To free himself from it he traded his fledglings to the Nosferatu primogen, and fled the city. (Francis when I get you…..)

Eli is a new guy of mineee hehe his game hasn’t started yet but im cooking. Their game is set in 1850’s London. His sire is a 9th gen ravnos who goes by the alias “Booker”. He doesn’t know much about him, at least much thats real. He met the man in a pub back in Ireland. He was a little rough around the edges but friendly and persuasive. He had a small boat and was (illegally) bringing people to the big city for a fraction of the price… It seemed like a good idea at the time 😔.. but bro was a trap door

at first they weren’t enthused about eating people, and found a lot of kindred’s feeding practices to be cruel (sorry jacinth.. former vegan 😔). They tried to hold on to that belief for as long as possible, until the hunger kicked in. Sometimes bagged blood doesn’t cut it. They still try to do things their way, but understand how things work now. People gotta do what they gotta do. + their bf is an organavore… (hehe myyy bf THEE @organovore ) so they try to approach things with a much more open mind.

Eli on the other hand is a little freak. He’s in a toxic situationship with a ventrue montero and finds him fascinating. I think he’s curious about how people utilize their strengths when it comes to feeding and believes you can learn a lot about another kindred just by watching them eat.

Astro - Skydancer Originally thought Fae, but I think Skydancer really works. Skydancers can read out energy and emotion, they're gentle and when in a combat situation tend to focus on being stealthy and scouting things rather than directly fighting.

Boxten - Tundra Tundras aren't chatty, and like to avoid confrontation when possible.

Brightney - Snapper Snappers learn a lot and are basically walking encyclopedias. Would give you a novel of information if you listen for long enough!

Cosmo - Obelisk Obelisks like to help however they can, which I think fits with Cosmo pretty well

Dandy - Coatl I feel like the feathers would work well with his petals, along with the fact Coatls try to placate others with gifts, so I imagine the rejection of his 'gifts' {the items he offers, seeing them as gifts because tapes are mostly useless otherwise} would be taken as a sign of aggression, in which Coatls will swiftly fight

Flutter - Aether Moth /silly but on a more serious note, they travel around a lot which I feel like Flutter would do if she could. Unfortunately we dont really have much on Flutter

Finn - Fathom Enjoy light hearted conversations, near constant state of travel, water dragons.

Goob - Tundra Tundras are fluffy and quick to recognize friends, despite their poor facial memory!

Glisten - Pearlcatcher Just. Take this quote directly from the Pearlcatcher page. "A Pearlcatcher knows its species to be the pinnacle of dragonkind, and each individual rests secure in the knowledge that they are at the top tier of that select species. Pearlcatchers are known for their love of gossip, choice tidbits and secrets of other dragons a currency among them worth more than mere gold."

Gigi - Ridgeback "Ridgeback society revolves around borrowing. While other dragons might call this stealing, Ridgebacks think borrowing is a normal and necessary facet of life."

Poppy - Spiral Sprials are very energetic and excitable, talking a lot and tying themselves into knots sometimes

Razzle and Dazzle - Aberration Aberrations are two headed dragons with each head having their own consciousness. They work together in situations that are needed, but tend to have differing points of view.

Rodger - Snapper Snapper for similar reasons to Brightney, but I imagine he's older and more boring

Scraps - Spiral While Scraps isn't as excitable and energetic as Poppy, I still feel like Spiral works for her! Although to be fair I didn't really know what else to assign her

Okay I’m gonna just say this cause I don’t like going on other people’s posts and poo pooing them or making it seem like Im arguing. This is just my thoughts on what I seen and heard and my understanding as a fan of not only Jon Moxley but also of Bryan Danielson and the entirety of the blackpool combat club.

When the BCC was even first discussed it was in the ring by Bryan trying to talk Jon out of joining Jericho and I believe it was inner circle. This was not planned there was no script writers or any writers room hell tk never even signed off on any new groups certainly not one tying up two of the biggest names of the company. But Bryan was spitting and the gods of wrestling were coming out of that man’s mouth like time to change the world again. Legit like one of the things he said was not only naming 3 of best young wrestlers on the roster (Yuta Danny and Lee) but bringing up how they can train them and show them the way how they could help the next generation to not make their mistakes the avoid the pitfalls. This is something Bryan just spoke into existence cause that’s who he is. This is the man who comes in early and trains with whoever wants to train. This is a man who refused to be held down even by a career ending injury and said NO! I will not stop I will not give up. Moxley hearing him went to the back like fuck that’s a great idea let’s do it. He’s built the gym in his own home and has been training himself and others there. He’s not only trained Yuta but shooter and Marina as well. Even when tk didn’t see the vision and was already planning the breakup these men said no this is who we are and this will be our legacy. We want to bring up the next generation. Both of them have seen how much this business relies on the old guard even to the detriment of the new generation, cutting off the legs of new characters and new stories just to hold up the past and nostalgia. They’ve see figures of the past refused to leave but wouldn’t work to add strength and dignity to the new gen, people who only cared about themselves their own legacy and their own made up bullshit egos. That is not who Jon and Bryan have ever been and that is not what the bcc is about. Even if they’ve only ever had 1 actual student signed to them everything they do is lending to the new generation. The matches they put on the way they put over younger talent the way they train and run drills with anyone willing to learn and listen. The way they have went out of their way to push people who aren’t even connected to the bcc just because they know their voices carry weight.

I get it seeing Bryan pinned sucks I had a horrible time with beanie who has never forgiven anyone whose pinned Bryan from mjf to Danny to ZSJ to Jack Perry like I get it. But this is who he is a loss will never take away from him his story or his legacy Bryan has cemented himself in wrestling history and he knows it and he fucking deserves it.

If he chooses to eat a pin it’s 1 he fucking wants to and 2 he respects that person he’s giving them the rub and honestly we should look more at the people he’s putting over like if Bryan sees something in you then we need to get behind you cause there might be something there.

Bryan cares about putting over talent Jon cares about putting over talent and the bcc is about guiding the future of the sport they love.

OG STORY - this is the tag I use to label my original concepts for these characters. Before their better known ML AU incarnations, I pictured them in this fairytale-esque fantasy au with Keagan as the main protagonist. Prince Keagan had a leisurely life as the spare to the throne who's only responsibility is tying down the most powerful knight of their generation to stay on their kingdom's side forever through marriage. Everything was set on a track and he had no intention of fighting it. He likes his hedonistic life as a prince and he gets along well enough with his fiance, it's not worth losing over a thing called "freedom". His destiny was agreeable to him... that is, until he learns of a horrible secret that puts his fiance in danger but she can't know about it lest she dies by her own sword because she is stubborn about protecting everyone like the goddamn knight she is. The prince is forced to take matters into his own hands and run away from the capital, recruiting an unlikely group of outcasts, creating enemies from the shadows and have his fiance and his other childhood friend try to drag him back home.

ML AU - this is the tag I use to lump together all stories set in the show called Miraculous Ladybug.

BTaL - Between Truths and Lies, posted on Ao3 and FF.net. Acronym can be pronounced to sound like "Beetle" lol. The basic premise is its lowkey a future gen fic focusing on the new heroes, Shizuke Midorikawa as Ladybug and Blair Crawford as Chat Noire. Follow their journey as they struggle through superheroing, magic, love, grief and one evil butterfly lady.

N2CatS - No Two Cats are the Same, posted on Ao3 and FF.net. Acronym can be pronounced like "N-2-Cats". It's the time travel story set midway S2 of BTaL that features canon characters and how they deal with being stuck with my ocs for a week. Focused mainly on character study. It jumps off from an alternate end to Ephemeral where Sass's last resort ends up yeeting Adrien and Blair into each other's eras. Can be read as a stand alone despite its references to BTaL, as most references come with an explanation or much context isn't needed to be understood. Though reading BTaL first does enhance some of the references and enhances foreshadowing.

Otome Game AU - You know those manhwas where the protagonist, usually female, wakes up one day into the romfan world of the otome game or novel she was reading before she died? And she's in the body of the villainess, or the heroine or some extra? This AU, that's my entire main cast. A group of tired and stressed college students were working on a game for their thesis. They either worked themselves to death or their kidneys gave out from too much red bull or maybe they were half asleep walking home when truck-kun came for them, who knows. Thing is, they all died. Individually woke up into the body of the character that was modelled after them - which explains how none of them realizes they're not the only one who reincarnated. Chaos ensues. you know something that interests me so much, is how Jordan’s perspective is unreliable. Just by the nature of him having an edited pov makes him an unreliable narrator to the audience.

The best example I have of this is why capsize thought they were together. In his pov it comes out of left field, like it makes no sense that she would consider that. But if you go to Tom’s episode, you can see that she literally thinks that because Tom says in chat that him and Jordan are fucking. Like, honestly the comparison of Jordan’s “Girl Problems” ep and Tom’s 81st episode is the best example of that because it frames Capsizes character in a certain light depending on who you watch and because people will usually only watch Jordan’s (because it’s shorter) then it’s a bit of a one sided view.

And I bet you there are season 2 examples but I’d have to rewatch it from someone else’s perspective first before I give an example.

The unreliable narrator of Jordan's POV is really super interesting because actually like!! you could lore wise outside the meta of edited content ooc interpret it as an intentionally crafted story, where ye!! The whole bit about capsize thinkin thems boyos were together without the context of Tom's comment (which I gen only caught bc I paused Jordan's ep to read the chat when he opened it) makes her out to be a completely different person versus if ya saw it in Tom's POV- in the sense of her to Jordan trying to deflect away from a supposed truth versus her just obvs playin off what Tom was together and them zombiecaptains bein silly

In a way, if ya follow the headcanon from DSMP that chat is personified as an in-universe entity of sorts around the character (like Ranboo's ender particles, the voices of the Blood god to Techno, or Phil's crows); like Jordan got little sparkles floating around him only he can see/hear, the fact that we only see bits of his POV could be like him trying to appeal to them (aka them rampant shippers- show his dynamic with Capsize as they expect which is what leads to the inconsistency in her character) As he goes on he starts to learn to ignore them and just roll how he rolls

(in all honesty i like to abide by the headcanon that the whole "im in love w/ capsize" shenanigans was actually cJordan's dumbass way of deflecting off not wantin to admit he was in love with cTom and was egged on by chat but thats a ramble for another day LMAO)

Also!! thats so true too like I havent watched any other S2 POVs but we kinda actually see it in Isles a lil 👀 Ive been hoppin back n forth between Tom and Jordan's povs for fun during my watchthrough where while the edited v. uncut has been flipped, while you can see all of Tom and Karl's shenanigans uncut in Jord's POV, it still doesnt make any sense the motivations for stuff like him joining Team Ianite unless u can see those interactions he has privately with Dianite (who is also so two totally different people between the two povs). But whats interesting is how like Isle!Tom's kind of unreliable narrator is different in nature from S1!Jordan, where its like the intent between the kind of story either is trying to tell has different motivation behind it ig? ye :D ty for this brainrot btw note I Will put lore to everything and. yeah anyhoozers
