Have you read the sin eater’s daughter trilogy? My friend wrote it almost a decade ago now but It’s about a living goddess/saint and cyclical abuse and evil of divine right of kings so I think you would enjoy it. (tw mild incest and heavy HEAVY gaslighting)

tiny PLANT fairy people! Whee

when I was in middle school and figuring out what comics I wanted to make (because there was no world in which I chose NOT to make comics) I spent a couple weeks drawing single-panel comics, like the ones in newspapers, about a small Tinkerbell-looking fairy called Twylla. The punchline of every comic was that Twylla had blithely put herself into a situation with catastrophic risk of death, like happily climbing a tall flower in a thunderstorm or pirhouetting into the open jaws of a wolf. What I'm saying is now Twylla can be canon

I’m not sure if it would be too young an age book but my friends is currently writing a very sweet Welsh fantasy middle grade series (Percy Jackson age range) and one of the characters has hEDS! (They also wrote an adult queer Christmas Romance that has hEDS, they have it and write from experience so) its vivi Conway and the sword of legend if you read that age range (book 2 has the rep for hEDS and that’s coming this autumn i believe, but it’s already very queer lol)
