Yes, dreamshade, a plant that produces one of the most deadly poisons known to man, mer, or fairy grows there. Yes, it’s basically immune to fire magic and while you’re REALLY supposed to call a professional to handle it if it starts growing in your yard, everyone knows someone whose father or uncle decided to try and save some money by going at it with a weed whacker.

Yes, the mermaids in the Lagoon think it’s funny to pretend to drown you if you annoy them.

(Yes, there’s legends of a mysterious Shadow that carries off children in the middle of the night. It’s just a story. Still, be sure to keep the windows locked and teach the little ones the importance of stranger danger.)

hi so Yuuyu Laya is back??? i guess??? (he's gonna be neglected </3)

this is my previous post about him (a lot of the initial ideas are changed/scrapped now) and in a nutshell:

yuuyu (he/they) is my twst tinkerbell oc and who is one of the first batch of ramshackle members

he's not yuu/mc, he is just called “yuuyu” (which is just a nickname so not his real name)

the “real yuu” in question is in their second year and is officially the ramshackle prefect/housewarden

These are some of the Disney films and characters I would like to see in future Twisted Wonderland events. Like the ones that gave us Rollo Flamme (who character is modelled after Claude Frollo) and Stitch (who was a guest character).

1. With Captain Hook being one of Disney's classic villains, I thought it would be cool if we got a Peter Pan event. One that would have the selected Night Raven students attend a pirate themed event, that is dedicated to the Hooked Pirate Captain and is hosted by the TWST character who is modelled after Hook himself. Since the Savanaclaw Trio were dressed as pirates for Halloween events, I could see Leona Kingscholar or Ruggie Bucchi wanting to take point on the school trip by serving as the group's captain. Unless the three Beastmen don't go to the event, and Azul Ashengrotto decides to be the captain. With him based on Ursula, why not throw in a bit of Uma.

2. If there was to be a science fair event, who better than Yzma's TWST counterpart to host it. Along with having Divus Crewel join the school's science club to it, just as Mozus Trein was in the Glorious Masquerade event.

3. With Twisted Wonderland having a few Halloween events wouldn't it be cool if Oogie Boogie appears as a guest character or have a reference cameo of him. Like having his face appear on the moon or have the students come across his shadow.

4. Who wouldn't want to see a TWST character be modelled after Hans? Might be interesting for a Frozen based event.

5. With the game made by Walt Disney Japan and Big Hero 6 has a few Japanese references in the film and TV series, it kind of feels right that Yokai gets a reference in the phone game. Like having his mask make a cameo appearance, or have his TWST counterpart visit the school for a robotic event. One that the Shroud Brothers might like to attend.

6. For some reason I could see Yuu, Grim and two or three students recreating the scene of Mushu asking Mulan what the plan is, while they were in the middle of running away from danger. Until they decide to light some fireworks as they rush to get off the roof. It would also be cool to see Mushu be a guest character like Stitch was, and to see Grim bash heads with our favourite (small) Disney dragon. (With Dragon!Maleficent being the top Disney dragon among the villain side of the Disney fandom.)

7. Just thought it would be cool to see our brave Night Raven students battle Chernabog.

8. Who wouldn't want to see a TWST character be modelled after Gothel? I could see Vil Schoenheit butting heads with Gothel's TWST counterpart on which villain is the most beautiful one, the Evil Queen or Mother Gothel? They are both known to be vain when it comes to personal appearance.

9. With there being a White Rabbit event, why not have one that is based off of Robin Hood? Maybe we could get a TWST beastman counterpart of either the Sheriff, Prince John or Robin.

10. Although the first anniversary had Deuce Spade, Trey Clover and the Shroud Brothers make a wish under the stars, thought it would be cute if Star were to make a guest event appearance. Like Stitch did in the beach event, Lost in the Book with Stitch.

Thank you~ ^^ It was a real challenge, but I think I’m pretty satisfied with the work I put out.

I personally really enjoyed writing Rollo and Fellow duking it out to tutor Gidel and the reader helping Fellow with his book. I think it’s the competitive big brother vibes of the former (I’ve made it no secret that I enjoy the onii-san archetype 😔) and the pure joy that Fellow feels when he’s finally given a chance and real encouragement the latter. I also quite like Fellow running into Leona and Ruggie; it was just funny writing Ruggie and Fellow trade insults about rich people in front of a rich person (Leona) 😂

I think Gidel shines in the interactions where he eats Riddle’s strawberry tart and where he and Fellow meet Azul for a potential deal. His thoughts on the dorm leaders headcanons were cute too. A lot of the appeal of Gidel in these pieces is a combination of his childish innocence, curiosity, and empathy bringing out new sides of those he interacts with. I especially liked how Gidel acted as Fellow’s conscious when he was tempted to sign away something so precious to himself. (Again, very big bro-little bro kind of a bond OTL)

This wasn’t a request I received, but I had a good time writing the introduction story for the blog event. I love that I was able to cram in various references into it. There’s the Pinocchio scene where he first meets Honest John and Gideon of course, but also references to Ursula, Peter Pan, and Mary Poppins. I think that gives the writing more of a whimsical feeling… like you’re trying to remember a dream you had but you get the details all muddled. I also feel like I captured and showcased Fellow’s slimy personality quite well there:

It's time for our next fandorm on the docket. Inspired by Peter Pan, we have...

Navihook!

As if it wasn't obvious enough, it's themed around pink pirates! Swashbucklers of the sea, looking for adventure and challenges!

Navihook's name derives from Navi- (short for navigate) and Hook (an obvious word to put here).

“A dorm founded on the seafaring captain’s spirit of determination, which students are determined to strive for the best as apart of the well-organized crew.”

Requirements and traits:

Willing to take chances to challenge the impossible

Has a free spirit and a sound mind

Loyal and honest

The housewarden bears a highly-advanced prosthetic that can extend any tool in its disposal, all while able to function as a normal prosthetic when not in use. The magic item being a rapier instead of your typical pirate cutlass symbolizes the housewarden's quick wits and strategy, all while carrying a sophisticated aura.

Arley Grapnel! (Twisted off Captain Hook)

A capable and trustworthy junior housewarden and "captain" of his crew, always showing a caring side for anyone under his leadership. He treats his dorm members like a pirate crew and teaches them ways to be great mages. But behind the optimistic behaviour, hides a deep-seeded stubborness to get back at people who wronged him, especially with a certain fae who never grows up from RSA (my version of TWST Peter Pan which is spoilers atm) pestering his everyday life. The truth is, Arley's life was ruined by said fae, making him swore revenge on the boy someday...for taking something precious away from him.

Notable Members:

• Sven Matell (Vice Housewarden, Sophomore) - A bumbling and lovable doof who is always eager to help Arley out. (Twisted from Mr. Smee)

• Zephyr Briarflash (Freshman) - A fairy who is very foul-mouthed and has a bit of a temper for a lot of things. (Twisted from Zarina the Pirate Fairy)

• Levi Krock (Junior) - A crocodile beastman whose appearance scares anyone that laid their eyes on him, but he is actually a laid-back guy with a huge appetite. (Twisted from Tick Tock Croc)

• Otto Cephalon (Junior) - A bulky octopus merfolk with a huge heart and a relaxed attitude, just like his BF, Levi, but has a bit of a sadistic side at times. (Twisted from the octopus in the sequel)

Synopsis:

Days have passed since the spelldrive tournament ended, and now they're getting ready for the finals exam. But before things could be peaceful, a mysterious occurence happened on campus. Students, mainly first years, have mysteriously gone missing, either absent from lessons or nowhere to be found. Crowley, being the "responsible" headmage, assigned our main protagonists to investigate the disappearances. The investigation then leads them to Navihook, where they meet a group of "pirates", led by Arley Grapnel.

But things are not what it seems as a mischievious shadow cackled in the background of the scene...

(Occurs between after Book 2 and before Book 3)

TWST Headcannons/Idea:

Despite the rivalry between NRC and RSA, the NRC Mystery Shack is tight-knit business partners with the RSA's own little on-campus store.

While at Sam's Mystery Shack you might catch a glimpse of strange shadows stocking shelves and whispering things to the owner, you'll notice the owner of the Lost Boys Shack has no shadow… 

The RSA Lost Boys Shack, known for providing jobs to students on campus who find their pockets on the empty side, is run by a young looking guy named Pan who is often mistaken for a student himself. 

Pan is pretty infamous on campus. While both RSA and NRC employ diurnal fae, it's very odd to see a diurnal fairy- especially a tinker fairy- so attached to a nocturnal fairy! The two seem to chat often without the use of a translation bell. 

The tinker fairy, fondly known as "Bell" on campus, is a valuable asset to the Lost Boys Shack in assuring great discounts for high-quality products. Pan's Lost Boys will go into town and collect broken goods from stores to re-sell after Bell repairs them to be good as new- or sometimes even better! Some of these items stay at RSA's store for sale. Others show up at their business partner's location shortly after a certain pointy-eared shadow shows up… 

Bell does far more than just fix things. She has a more spunky, stubborn attitude than most diurnal fae and isn't afraid to pull a few strings to get a few unusual goods from the faelands for Pan. You won't see pixie dust on display but it sells for a pretty penny. Rumors have been floating around that the next fairy Gala is taking place in the botanical garden of NRC... so it wouldn't hurt to have some pixie dust in stock for Sam, right?

Twst OC: Wendell Banning ✨🦋

A sporadic idea that I had to finish where I wanted to make a Twst character off of Wendy Darling. His last name derives from Steven Spielberg’s Hook, where Peter’s full name is Peter Banning!

Wendell is an a school teacher in Shaftlands, and helps run their family business, a house for orphans called Darling orphanage. He is beloved among children from the orphanage and school for his thrilling stories but if often scolded by his peers for not focusing on practical material to teach to children.

Taisha is a young girl who has an incredible talent in crafting, woodworking, metalworking, and machinery. She was born on a warm island, known as The Isle of fairies.

Taisha is very well-known for her extroverted and emotional personality. She usually remains joyful and optimistic but can very easily loose her temper. When she looses her temper her face turns red. The young girl also often gets jealous of other people.

Taisha's signature spell "Shinker" allows her to shrink herself to a size of a miniature fairy. This spell helps her to reach small and enclosed places while working or fixing her constructions and machines.

Taisha might be short, but despite that, she is never afraid to express her opinion, stand of what she believes in, or pick a fight with someone.
