due to popular demand (literally this one person asked) i’ve created a quick kiyuu loungewear sketch!!!

she fr is the type to bring her blanket everywhere when in her house. She literally has this special short/small blanket that wraps around her shoulders to her waist only. NOT a shawl though it’s an actual blanket.

TY FOR THE ASK BTW ANONIE MUAH <333 literally gave me motivation to give kiyuu some comfy wear. NOW I CAN DRAW HER IN AN OVERSIZED SWEATER!!! DELIGHTFUL!!!!!

As always, she has her ribbon on, but fun fact! She takes it off when sleeping/not meeting ppl. Her ribbon’s mostly worn because it’s what she arrived with and therefore is a part of her identity that she wants people to see. It’s like an object that she uses to say “This is a part of Kiyuu!! This is a defining feature of mine!! Please recognize me in this way. Please remember me in this way.”

Somewhat random thought realized from seeing people’s reaction to Ace’s loungewear card.

(Spoilers for how the card art looks if anyone rather try to not be spoiled for that.)

It’s funny to me that it seems like several people feel like he’s nude for not having his make-up on.

I simply failed to realize or fully realize he didn’t have the heart on? I’m not entirely sure as I barely got to take in the art before seeing this take.

It makes complete sense to me that he doesn’t have his classic heart on since it’s not recommended to sleep while still wearing makeup.

Anyway, the somewhat random thought is, would Bobo feel naked to others whenever she isn’t wearing gloves? She practically always wears a pair except for when she eats and sleeps. (Well, properly sleeps, she still wears them during naps.)

Bobo’s sleepwear is likely long pants and sleeves due to how cold she feels in Twisted Wonderland. She’s used to having to deal with people who have different ideals to her kingdom including modesty and what certain genders should wear. Though if anyone felt she looked naked if her hands were bare, I think that would quite baffle her.

Wait imagine someone applying makeup to Bobo where it covers up all her birthmarks. She’d look especially naked then, wouldn’t she?

Oh, does anyone know if foundation can be applied without covering up freckles? I don’t know much about makeup so I worry that giving Bobo a full face of it would basically erase her birthmarks. Which is something I wouldn’t want to happen.

So I’m guessing just some bits of makeup could be applied like eyeshadow, just nothing like foundation?

In Malleus loungewear, did he use Armani makeup?

I cross-referenced his voice lines and vignettes; Malleus does not mention any makeup brands. We know that Felicity Cosmetics exists, but it’s unclear if that’s what Malleus is using.

While the packaging of the makeup products in his Groovy looks VERY similar to Giorgio Armani ones, I doubt that Twst actually used an irl brand. More likely it’s just an in-universe brand that has similar packaging. Maybe the artists looked at or referenced Giorgio Armani makeup for inspiration while designing Malleus’s Groovy?

In case you’re wondering, the names of the Giorgio Armani products I posted above are:

Rouge d'Armani Lipstick (204); I also saw someone saying it’s Rouge D’Armani Lasting Satin in (404/Tempting) but note that the modern day packaging looks different

Eye Tint Long Lasting Liquid Eyeshadow (50S/Petrol); not an exact color match because it looks too dark compared to what Malleus is using
