A few days ago I was brain rotting with one of my friends, we were sharing designs of fanchilds (we are on different fandoms but I like the brain rot eheh)

Initially I had only one design done but then my friend suggested the idea of twins and my mind ✨expanded✨

I did these designs with the help of my friend!

Yuu and Floyd give Amber and Aqua a lot of freedom, but the twins know not to test that limit. There are times when Yuu and Floyd have left to have a date night and Yuu's told them to order what they want (they both somehow got their uncle's appetite). The twins do, but they never get more than like $20 worth of take out. Their parents are rich, but they ain't willing to test that limit.

There was also a time when the twins wanted to go to a party one of their classmates was having cause their parents were out of town. Yuu said that they were more than welcome to go, but to call Floyd if they needed any help. Amber called Floyd later that night cause the party went wrong fast. Floyd drove over, picked up his kids, drove back home where they all ordered food and waited for Yuu to get back home.

Aqua and Amber apologized the day after and all Yuu said was:

"You did what I asked and I'm glad you two are okay. Floyd got to you guys quick, huh?"

Fanchild: Ulla Felmier + Lavern Hunt

*This is set in a neutral setting where nobody’s in a relationship yet.

[Notes]

• How did they come to NRC? Uhh… Multidimensional time rip. Epel and Rook were going their merry ways until *BOOM* child falls from the sky and into their arms.

• Rook and Epel are quite pleased to know they could have a family in the future. Though Epel may seem flustered and in denial of wanting to be a father at first, the idea of having children of his own and letting them take over the farm is appealing. As for Rook, he’s fine with having children or without! Lavern’s existence doesn’t scare him a single bit.

• With Epel’s pre-established crush on Cloche, his heart is jumping in joy. He was initially iffy about finding out who exactly the other parent was, until he saw the white tail that resembled Cloche’. In his mind, there couldn’t possibly any other beastmen who matched the description! Jack may have white fur, but he’s a wolf. Ulla continues to give Epel hope that someday, the cat maid might like him back. Epel did want a son, but Ulla was too cute to resist.

• Oh là là! Who would have thought that the Hunter of Love would be struck by his own arrow in the future? When he first saw Lavern, his impressions were ‘Who is this lost child?’ Instead of Lavern immediately clinging on to his father, like Ulla, Lavern was less than happy to fall into the arms of a ‘stranger who looked very much like his dad’. Even without Lavern addressing Rook as ‘Papa’, it didn’t take long for Rook to deduce that the boy was his child and Cloche’. Instead of Epel’s eagerness, Rook felt intrigued. In all his time of observing Cloche, never had he ever considered her to be anything but ‘that underclassmen’.

• How is Cloche coping? She’s not. Questions like “When were they born” “Why are there two of them from different parents?” “Does this imply I’m never leaving Twisted Wonderland?” “Did I give birth to them?” and “Is this going to blow my cover?” are all running wild. Cloche is aware of her …questionable views of family, and would much rather not have a child, than be a bad parent.

[Ulla Felmier]

• Epel originally wanted a son, but his disappointment in having a daughter disappeared when he held her as a baby for the first time. Epel cracked when Ulla’s tiny hand curled around his finger, realizing how tiny and precious she was.

• Ulla is spoiled— and I mean, sPOILED. Not just by her parents, but by those around her. That’s right, she has pretty privilege (mostly inherited from her dad). It also didn’t help that Harveston dotes on Ulla, almost as much as they did Epel. Ulla is well-behaved until backs are turned and eyes are closed. Ulla may come off as lazy, and carefree, but she can be quite cunning.

• The braided green toque and red overalls is supposed to represent a poisoned apple. Even when she’s not in Harveston, or if it’s not cold out, Ulla still prefers to wear the toque because it hides the fact she doesn’t have ears. Ulla might not show it, but she’s the most insecure about not having ears like other beastmen.

• Inherited Cloche’ loose morals, and Epel’s adventurousness.

• Definitely picked up on the Harveston dialect. Ulla and Epel communicate with each other in it behind Cloche’ back for special ‘father-daughter bonding time’. And by that… Epel secretly baking sweets for Ulla, and letting her go on the ‘grown up’ sleds. Epel would also have taught Ulla self defence, which later turned straight up fighting tactics.

• In Ulla’s eyes, Epel is the manliest and beefiest Pop in the world. This causes some confusion when she gushes about how ‘manly’ little fluffy rabbits, and baby chicks are.

[Lavern Hunt]

• Rook is more than happy to have such an uncommon type of beastman for a son. But of course, if he hears anyone commenting about Lavern’s lack of a tail, then bow strings are about to be plucked. When Rook first saw baby Lavern, he couldn’t help but laugh because of how funny the boy looked, but loves him regardless.

• The type of child who has to see everything for himself, to truly believe. Will not back down unless given a reason (he can understand) to. Impatient, but will put in the work needed to get the results he wants. Other kids find it hard to work with him. Additionally, it takes Lavern a long time to adapt to change and accept it.

• Cloche wanted to dress Lavern up nicer, but compromised to let Lavern wear sandals/slides/flip flops because of comfort. The footwear is also a subtle nod to Afterglow Savanna’s hot weather.

• Inherited Cloche’ skepticism, and Rook’s stubbornness.

• When disciplined, Cloche always speaks to Lavern in the same neutral tone and expression, whilst Rook has a wider range. Rook can maintain a soft smile while chiding Lavern, to showing disapproval on his face through narrowed eyes and furrowed brows. The moment Lavern notices Rook’s smile is gone, that’s when he actually feels like he’s messed up.

• Can only understand Rook’s French, but not speak it. Over time, Lavern also grew accustomed to all the big, flowery words Rook throws around— thus expanding his vocabulary quicker. With Cloche’ preference of academics, and Rook’s love of poetry, it’s no surprise that Lavern is the Spelling Bee king.

i have this thought that, yes, rook cut tiwa's bangs himself. i also think that tiwa would like to look more like rook since he looks the most like leona, so he really loves his bangs. and, if u noticed, 18 years old tiwa's (from my first post) hair is bleached, so he's blond like his father now!

Bariki: the youngest, based on Kovu and I swear to God Kovu literaly mean Dark scar and Simba mean Lion, so his name means basicaly blessed

As kovu, he has a physical apparence extremely similar to Leona even if he's adopted

Felix: I... Don't know if I make them an Hyena or not, anyways, adopted child and middle child, honestly the chillies among this family

Razi: the oldest and cranckiest like his father before him, the blood son of Leona, got an inferiority complex that's messing with him a lot during all his years

In my head he probably gets transfered to Ignihyde and finaly gets out of his father's and brother's shadow

And for Nuka's extremely please look at me mom vibe and bc I'm biased to my ocs

I made a Yuusona, and forgot to post it here- Anyway here's Yuukou ! :D

Funfact: this silly guy was supposed to be a kind of a crybaby, but the more I fleshed him out, and the less fitting that trait was so... Now he's just sensible but don’t cry as easily.

His design makes me go "lmao he looks like the fanchild of Sigma and Tecchou in BSD" so i went with Suehiro as his last name XD (the original one was Mori because I couldn't think of anything else)

Also, while i’m at it, this character is part of a twst project on Discord ! To make it short, it's a project where people yuusona are part of another school in Twisted Wonderland, based on more recent Disney movies, like Coco, Wreck it Ralph, Moana, etc... We’re only seven right now (we need 23 members at least, 27 at most) so if anyone is interested, don’t hesitate ! :>

i'm SO indecisive about her design as a toddler/preteen lowkey 😭

she was very sweet as a toddler but somewhere along the line she just became more carefree and chaotic

jas is a mama's girl but is more alike with her father than she cares to admit

octavinelle trio and heartslabyul duo + grim are like the honorary uncles (jas's favorites are floyd, ace, and grim bc they sometimes enable her with shenanigans)

even though jas has favorite uncles, najma is the favorite favorite. i imagine she's just the cool aunt

if mama yuu is "shrimpy" then jas is a "tiger prawn" (bc rajah)

jas LOVES doing people's hair including her own; would rather do them by hand rather than by magic

jamil showed jas how to breakdance once and it became ingrained in her personality ever since

(there's probably still more about her that i'm forgetting but this is it for now)

jamil took yuusha's last name surprise surprise (if they get married)

i imagine after nrc they'd be travelling together actually, not necessarily settling down

(i'm REALLY not 100% on them settling down and having a kid but i still love jas a lot so im so conflicted) (that's why aus exist 😔✨)

(and if hypothetically they do settle down i think yuusha being staff in nrc with grim + maybe jamil who travels for work (or being a house husband??? maybe they alternate roles) can be adorable ideas)

🐍: Jas has the same color of eyes as you. Didn't you tell me she mistook you for her mother?

💜: ...Yeah, but I don't like what you're implying.

🐍: Well, I'm not exactly happy with this either.

they're just both in denial of the implication of this child existing and neither of them is saying it out loud.

and the angst/wholesomeness(???) of jamil asking jas's full name and hearing that she has her mother's last name instead of his

eventually they grew attached (unfortunately) until somehow they send jas home to her original timeline

and then they finally have a real conversation about what all that was about

So as it was stated before: Lilia had a child, though before he truly had a chance to get to know them, they were stolen away. It had been so many years since he last saw his previous pup. … That is, until his second year at NRC.

Lilia was preparing for the orientation ceremony, to see where students would be placed for that year, he expected there to be a fair few who would be entering Diasomnia for that year. Of course he was preparing Silver for the ceremony, expecting him to be one of the many to be picked for the dorm, though as he made his way through the halls, something stopped him… It felt so familiar to him for some reason. It was a sweet scent, yet with a slight musk to it… Where had he smelled that before?

Looking around he attempted to find the source of the scent, looking high and low. Malleus and Silver were concerned by the other's sudden actions, was he alright? What was going on? 

Excusing himself, Lilia went to search the courtyard, the scent growing stronger by the second. He knew it from somewhere, he just needed to find the source to truly figure things out. He had spent the better part of an hour searching, finally stopping and leaning against a wall, his sigh being heard throughout the halls. Before he allowed himself to finally give up, a gentle voice came from one of the doorways…

"Papa?"

Lilia blinked, slowly lifting his head until his own red eyes met with the newcomers. In that moment, he finally felt after years of sear hang and longing, his heart absolutely swell up with emotions… He knew he found his pup…

The young man had Lilia's red eyes, though many of his other parent's features. Soft blonde hair with some pink highlights. His skin was fair with a dust of freckles on his nose. His shoulders weren't quite broad, but not exactly gentle, rather a mix. He stood to be around 5'7" tall, looking down towards Lilia. Most of all, he had a small birthmark on his neck that looked like two small beauty marks, or as if he was bitter by a vampire. Lilia knew that it was his long lost pup..

His birth given name was Eos, though the name he was raised with was Damian. Lilia of course wanted him to pick which name he was more comfortable with, his pup deciding on a hyphen in his name: Eos-Damian. He had much to lean of Fae life, and of course of his real parents… But most importantly, he wished to know all he could about his Papa, and the family he had made and raised…

Aqua, Amber, and their many uncles and godfathers.

Yuu's kids are spoiled as hell, imagine having two princes be your uncles and godfathers as well. Malleus popped over during one of the twins birthdays and basically made Amber and Aqua a prince and a princess. Jamil pops in every now and then when he needs a break, he's good at watching the twins because they don't cause the same problems Kalim used to back in the day.

Leona says he doesn't like watching Aqua and Amber, but he honestly loves them as if they were his own. All of the former NRC boys love the twins, until they end up being menaces. But Aqua and Amber do call on their uncles and godfathers quite a bit as they get older.
