Sudden twst thoughts and sudden crack theory:
Today I just dug on some older literatures and found out that Alice Liddell, the real life girl which was the main inspiration of "Alice in Wonderland", her dad was the nephew of the baron of "Ravensworth" of England and first cousin of the earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne so if twst really is based on Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass, what if Crowley isn't Levan but more like he is his nephew? (If Levan is supposed to represent Diablo, Maleficent's raven)
And coincidentally it also fits the description of Levan that "he is not a prince but more like a noble" just like "the baron of Ravensworth of England"
Edit : Have I ever mentioned before that Alice's dad was also the dean of Christ Church College in Oxford and Crowley is the headmaster of Night Raven College?
After all he is not raven even though his school is "Night Raven" , he is a crow and sometimes ravens and crows are still considered relatives because they both corvids.
Why I said Crowley is a crow and isn't a raven is because of these considerations :
Supposed that Yana also used wordplays for Twisted Wonderland the same way Lewis Carroll used portmanteau and a lot of wordplays in Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass then we will find :
Crowley said he is "kind". The collective noun for ravens in english is "unkindness". Saying he is "kind" means that he is not a raven but more of a crow
It's literally in his name (Crowley)
The fact in all of the twst manga adaptations all the Yuus are being hit by black carriage with black horse just means that he "killed" Yuu and got them isekai-ed to Twisted Wonderland. The collective noun for crows in english is "murder"
The bird with golden key that perched on Malleus's coffin is a crow because that bird is small compared to raven
And it doesn't have "beard" a.k.a long shaggy neck feathers but rather, smooth neck feathers

Nobody asked, but I forgot to mention that I really liked reading Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass when I was a kid. This chapter has a few references to the poem The Walrus and the Carpenter. The titular characters of the poem, Walrus and Carpenter, lure out a bunch of young and impressionable oysters away from their home with promises of a good time, and then just. Eats them. It’s a great poem.
Carpenter eats a lot without feeling any mercy. Walrus, however, sobs and laments about how sad he is while secretly eating the biggest ones. I thought this dynamic was interesting, so I tried to reflect that in my story as well. In this case, “eating” would be metaphorical to their desire for more power.
In a sense, they’re like a weepier version of the tweels? Like, both of them are shown to be capable of tricking people for a certain goal. Floyd’s the type to be brash and unsympathetic when he wants something, while Jade’s more the type to trick you into thinking he’s still sympathetic and trustworthy.
Funny coincidence, The Walrus and the Carpenter is recited by twins—Tweedledee and Tweedledum, who have their own poem in Through the Looking Glass.
Also, if the line about the “seven maids with seven mops” sounds awkward, it’s because it’s taken directly from a stanza in the poem and I couldn’t incorporate it naturally 😔

Notes and TW: Jade doesn't care much about the hierarchy of the mafia when it comes to you. This series will have mentions of blood, violence, crime (kidnapping, attempted assassination, extortion), and harassment, as one might expect from a mafia AU. Please enjoy!

It’s a common song and dance. Small organizations sometimes come to the Leech Mafia in hopes of garnering support for their coups. Walrus asked Jade to “lend” you to her. You’re more surprised at her audacity than her motivations.
“You’re trying to replace the Carpenter?” You occasionally see the leader of the Carpenter Mafia at formal functions. A tall, thin man with a disproportionately large head and wheedling voice. Friendly and charismatic on the surface, but known for his underhanded methods of luring people in, stranding them, and devouring them. An insatiable man who takes as much as he can get his hands on.
“Yes, so I humbly came to ask for help.” She places a hand on her chest and furrows her brows. “The Carpenter is a money-obsessed, greedy man who exploits all those who fall into his trap. I can’t watch him go on anymore. Call me a hopeful idiot, but I think with enough determination, even seven maids with seven mops could clear all the sand on a beach in half a year.”
If you were someone else entirely, maybe you would have fallen for her act. That pained look on her face and her poetic description of her tenacity could move a heart made of stone. However, you’ve spent a major portion of your life knowing Jade. You could recognize that duplicitous sorrow anywhere.
“What kind of mafia doesn’t have any suffering?” You won’t pretend the Leech Mafia is a good organization, either. There are monetary benefits, but mafias are built on cruelty, discipline, and fear of the pecking order. For example, if you dislike the way something was done, you have the authority to make sure the offending soldier who carried out the task disappears by sunset.
Walrus smiles. “I strive to create an organization where we can depend on each other.”
“And you want me to help you, huh. Is that why you told your men to attack me? It was a test to see if I meet your expectations.”
“You’re so cute, you know that? You ask questions when you already know the answer. I hope I didn’t upset you.”
No wonder why Jade looks so displeased. He likes to play pranks of that nature on you as well, but he becomes defensive when anyone else tries. What a hypocrite.
“I’m not upset.” As two-faced as Walrus is, you find that you don’t hate it. In the underbelly of society, this is what it takes to not only survive, but to claw your way to the top. In her own way, she is admirable. “Well, tell us what you want and what you’ll give us. This is a negotiation, right?”
“I’m just asking for the basics. Soldiers and weapons, that’s all. Can you spare me a hundred men?” She asks this nonchalantly, but surely she must know the weight of her question. One hundred men on land when the Leech Mafia operates mainly in the Coral Sea is a tall order. Such a number would impact your own operations in the Queendom of Roses. Again, this is expected. When you have more to lose in a negotiation, it is standard to ask for more than what you hope for.
“What a daring question. You are also quite the greedy person, Walrus.” Jade folds his hands on his desk. “Surely you have prepared something of equal value.”
“Of course.” Walrus pulls out a twisting gold wand inlaid with a red jewel. With a flick of her wrist, an image of a man appears in the air. “This is the man who cursed your parents, Jade Leech.”
A shadow passes over his face. This must be a bluff. How are you supposed to believe her when she declared such a thing without proof? To your surprise, Jade does not challenge her claim.
“That matches my findings.” Jade lowers his chin, his sharp gaze scrutinizing her. “What of it?”
“He’s dead. Carpenter personally got rid of him. No use for someone who managed to screw up an assassination, right?” She taps her wand to the image. It becomes a map with a glowing red dot south of the Coral Sea. “One of my friends has a Signature Spell that can analyze dead bodies. If we get his corpse, she should be able to figure out exactly what curse was cast on your parents. His body was dumped around here in the ocean, so you’ll need to retrieve it.”
Jade’s shoulders tense. You glance at the rigid line of his jaw. Softly, you place your hand on his shoulder blade. Calm down. A beat passes. He takes a breath and relaxes his muscles.
“Your proposal is hypothetical. There is no guarantee your friend will be able to deduce what spell was used. In the scenario which she does, there still remains the question of whether or not it can be cured.”
“It’s better than knowing nothing, right? I’ve been working for you for a month. I know there’s been no progress with your parents’ condition.” Her eyes glint. “Honestly, you should be happy to get any kind of lead.”
She has a way with words. At this rate, she will gain the upper hand of the negotiation. You stand still and believe in Jade and his silver tongue. He is not the type of person who will walk away from a discussion having lost more than he gained.
“You knew about the attempt on my parents’ lives, and yet you did nothing while under our employment.” Jade leans forward in his seat and stares her down. “Why didn’t you tell us you knew something about it? Withholding information from us until you can use it as a bargaining chip . . . I’m hurt, Walrus. It will be difficult for us to form a relationship of good faith anymore. If you had told us before it happened, we could have prevented such a tragedy in the first place. From that angle, is it not your fault that my parents were saddled with such an unfortunate ailment?”
Twisting her words and the situation until it benefits him is child’s play for Jade. No matter how contrived that reasoning may seem, at the end of the day, Walrus is the one who desperately needs resources from the Leech Mafia. As long as he does not forget who has the upper hand, he will certainly get his way.
“Of course,” Jade continues, offering her a way out, “I believe in second chances. If you take responsibility and pitch in to find a way to undo the curse, I will have no qualms in lending you my support in your upcoming coup.”
In the end, Walrus has no choice but to concede. There are other groups she could turn to, but creating good relations with the Leech Mafia can only help her if she wishes to gain influence. A weak, unstable group after an internal struggle is easy prey for older, already established syndicates to absorb. She needs their support to avoid a short-lived victory.
Walrus leaves with a promise of seventy men and enough weapons to supply them. As soon as she’s out the door, your mind drifts to the manuscript again. It briefly mentions that the Leech Mafia’s influence spreads after their parents wake up. Maybe this inner turmoil in the Carpenter Mafia causes that expansion. No details were ever given in the manuscript. When you read it over, you had the impression that the author did not have the slightest inkling towards the politics and inner workings of a mafia.
You find yourself stepping back towards the wall as you think. Your body yearns to curl up in the window seat in the attic. Part of you wants to hide up there right now and digest this information. There is so much to think about now. The division of resources, the men you’re going to lend to Walrus, the compensation for the lack of manpower in some of the Leech territory on land . . . .
A hand rests on your waist and reels you in towards the side of Jade’s chair. The perpetrator gives you an imploring look.
“If you need a space to sit, would my lap suffice?”
A few moments ago, you thought Walrus had audacity. Jade outmatches her.
“No, I’ll go up to the attic instead.”
“May I come with you?”
“Seven, you’re so persistent.” You heave a sigh and motion for him to shift so that you can sit comfortably on his lap. His smile grows unbelievably smug as you take a seat, purposely putting your full weight on him. He doesn’t show the slightest hint of discomfort.
It becomes easier to think when you have something pressed against your back. His arms surround you, providing a small space for you to retreat in your mind without any worries. Sturdy and secure like the face of a cliff or the trunk of a tree, safe despite the threat you know he is capable of being. No matter. You were the one who said you would trust him. And now that you’ve let your guard down, you find that you feel rather cozy.
“You’re being weirdly clingy today.” You notice he still hasn’t let go of your waist. “When Walrus asked for my help, you were so adamant on refusing. I could’ve gone, you know. We would’ve had a reason to lend her less soldiers.”
He huffs. “I have told you before. Have you already forgotten? There is no need for you to dirty your hands with filth.”
It takes you a moment to recall when he last said those words: outside Azul’s home while Floyd beat the living daylights out of Barry Moore. You should never have to lift a finger. Just keep making others do your dirty work.
“What’s your problem with me fighting every so often? I’m not against it.”
Jade rests his head on your shoulder. He’s been getting bolder ever since you promised him your trust.
“If you want to, I would not stop you. But I can tell you prefer to stay holed up somewhere and wrack your brain instead of using your fists. In situations where violence is necessary, you often order someone else to do it unless you are the only one around. Regardless, I would support you to the best of my ability whether you wish to scheme or massacre.” He sighs into your shirt. “I was already quite upset that I did not manage to stop Walrus’s men from ambushing you. It put our negotiations at risk.”
“You were going to refuse her terms just because of that?” It’s not like Jade to make such an illogical decision for something that doesn’t even bring him entertainment. In fact . . . “I would’ve thought that watching me struggle in a fight would be interesting to you.”
“Of course it is.” His chest rumbles against your back. Your eyebrow twitches. Laughter? The nerve! “But I would rather you struggle in a situation that I’ve created, which I can stop whenever I wish.”
“So you only like my suffering when you’re in control of everything about it?”
“Let’s not call it suffering. Challenging obstacles, if you will. But yes.” His eyelashes flutter against your cheek. “If it is ever necessary to truly put your life at risk, it means that I have failed in some capacity.”
You should be grateful to hear those words. But some part of you sours. Why is he so bent on protecting you? You aren’t weak. Your Signature Spell’s primary function is to shield you from physical injuries. Fighting comes naturally to you. In fact, when you met the twins, you were the one who fought for Jade. Sort of. You even extorted him afterwards. And in the Leech Mafia, it is your job to protect him.
“I don’t need to be protected.”
“You are correct.” He nuzzles his face into your neck. “You have survived for this long in the mafia. I don’t try to keep you from harm because you are incompetent—far from it, actually. I do so because you are too competent. You take on more and more difficult work, increasing your chances of getting hurt, but you do not stop and consider how seeing you injured may throw me into disarray—”
He suddenly pauses. You think you get the gist of it. His parents still lie unconscious in hospital beds. Perhaps a small part of him blames himself for not being careful enough. Even you sometimes lie awake wondering if there was anything you could have done to prevent it. If only you took that manuscript seriously sooner. If only you had been more vigilant. If only, if only, if only. Do you dare to assume he’s worried about you as well?
Jade’s fingers tighten on your waist. “I want to make sure you are safe and comfortable. If you will allow me, I will do anything in my power to ensure it happens. Scheme and plot, stew in your thoughts, give orders like a tyrant. I will be your hands and feet so that you never have to endanger yourself. It is only a selfish desire of mine that you will never be harmed.”
“So, if I’m understanding correctly, you’re saying you care about me?”
He chuckles. “Is it something that needs to be said?”
Answering a question with a question. Typical.
“Tell me properly.”
“Relentless as always.” He relaxes his grip. “I care about you. More than you think.”
“You said you wouldn’t lie to me anymore.” There’s enough sincerity in his voice that you don’t have to confirm. A part of you just wants to hear him say it.
“I was not lying, then or now.” Jade’s arms wind around your torso and hold you close. “I have always been truthful on this subject, and this is no lie, either.”

Hi! Have you seen the new Mickey Mouse Rebrushed trailer??? Twitter is goin crazy over it and how it’s related to twst 😭 just wanted to hear your thoughts on it
I did spot quite a few parallels with TWST from the Rebrushed trailer! I'm not familiar with Epic Mickey at all, so I'll just be commenting on what I noticed right away. You'll have to excuse my limited knowledge.
Firstly!! This design of Mickey is the exact same as the one we see in TWST. Most noticeable is his white face, which is a fleshy peach color in most modern iterations.
Mickey is reading Alice in Wonderland’s sequel, Through the Looking Glass. Of course, Twisted Wonderland has Wonderland in its title, and even opens with an Alice in Wonderland inspired dorm. Yuu and Mickey also connect via their dreams and through the mirror shared in their rooms.
The theme of dreams is very present and upfront here; Mickey wakes up from sleeping and then creeps to his mirror, which appears to be a portal into another world. Hmm... dreams, mirrors, and traveling to other worlds, now what does that remind you of? You'll also notice that Mickey's room is the exact same as Yuu's room in Ramshackle, right down to the "inverted" room that appears when Mickey passes through the mirror. Everything up until this point is very similar to what is depicted in the 1936 short, Thru the Mirror.
Next, Mickey spies on a wizard carefully using a magic paintbrush over what seems to be a diorama of a bunch of buildings on a plot of land. When the wizard leaves, Mickey fiddles with the paintbrush, causes a mess, and calls forth some kind of black ink monster with green light coming from within it. This seems to be a very close parallel to Overblots, particularly since the most recent OB has a signature neon green color. If we really are to connect Epic Mickey to TWST, this scene also seems to allude that Yuu, Mickey, and/or the "wizard" have parts to play in bringing these Overblots to life. And who do we know that is a powerful wizard that is aware of the corrupting power of blot and runs a large chunk of land... say, a campus? Crowley. This goes hand-in-hand with the theory that Crowley is intentionally allowing these OBs to happen or is even puppeteering his students into OBing.
I find this visual in particular to be very ominous; again, we have the colors that match a certain OB dragon fae but also the map itself reminds me of Twisted Wonderland's and the eerie visual of Malleus's thorns digging into Sage's Island and aiming to go way beyond it.
Anyway, the ink monster is temporarily contained while Mickey returns to his own world. We then get a montage of various Mickey media passing by, as well as a lot of imagery that would imply the passage of time (clocks, the date on the calendar changing, etc.). So... what? Is that implying not only parallel worlds, but also a time skip? Or maybe a time... loop? Like time loop theory???
The ink monster somehow eventually escapes and makes it to Mickey's world, with the blot dripping from the ceiling waking Mickey up from his sleep. It drags Mickey away into a hole drenched in ink. Kind of foreboding when you realize Yuu has also had prophetic dreams... Not of OBs, but of the events leading up to them. And being dragged away into an inky... opening? Like an... abyss? Like book 7, Ruler of the ABYSS?
That's how the trailer concludes!! Gotta say, there's definitely a lot of shared elements between this and TWST. If I recall correctly, Epic Mickey was a game that existed on the Wii waaay before TWST. It even has largely the same cinematic trailer (just with older graphics), so to me it feels like TWST probably took inspiration from Epic Mickey rather than the other way around. There are definitely too many parallels for it to be a coincidence. If that's the case, then we can probably pull some hints for what awaits us in the rest of book 7 from these cinematics. (This is a video comparing the two side-by-side if you think that might be of use!)

Twisted Wonderland & Fantasmic
When I played Twisted Wonderland for the first time in 2022, I had a near immediate prediction for where the story was going based on the Prologue. I posted a multi-part series to TikTok where I described this theory and now that we’re in Book 7, what looks to be the last major book in the main story, I’ve been practically proven right.
Because Twisted Wonderland is Fantasmic.
Fantasmic is a “nighttime spectacular” found at Disneyland, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and in which Mickey Mouse goes into the world of his imagination through dreams. He dreams fantastic dreams of adventure on the open seas, of parades of musical animals, and heroes achieving their hopes and dreams. But the Villains are here too and the Evil Queen takes her chance to get Mickey while he’s vulnerable in this dreamland. She and the other villains gather together to destroy the hero once and for all- culminating in a fight between Mickey Mouse and Maleficent in her dragon form. And when Mickey is at his most scared, he remembers that this is his imagination and his dreams and he has the power to defeat evil with love and friendship.
It sounds just a little familiar, right? Yeah, we’re in the middle of all that in Book 7.
I’ll start from the beginning…
(Lots of twst theory under the cut)
NRC as Disneyland
We all know Royal Sword Academy looks like that (a Disney Parks Castle on steroids), but we don’t exactly know the layout of its campus. Night Raven College on the other hand has some bits and pieces that resemble the layout of the Disney Castle parks. It helps that there is literally a “Main Street” central walkway to the Castle which houses the main school building.
Another parks reference is the location and general look of the Ramshackle Dorm. In the original concept for Main Street USA, the main entryway of all the castle parks which has some dining and lots of shopping, there was originally going to be an abandoned old house because Walt Disney believed every perfect town had one creepy looking house for the kids to scare themselves with. This eventually turned into the Haunted Mansion ride, but the original concept of the main street haunted house and Ramshackle dorm look exactly alike!
There are other small elements which also bring to mind the Haunted Mansion like Grim’s name being from the title of the Haunted Mansion’s theme song, Grim Grinning Ghosts. Crowley’s raven theme, though already associated with Disney Villains, also brings to mind the ravens found throughout the ride.
Already, the setting is putting the player in the mindset of being in a Disney theme park subconsciously, but the connections to Fantasmic go deeper when we get a closer look at Ramshackle as the Prologue continues.
Ramshackle and the Mickey Mouse Shorts
There is one other Disney property Ramshackle looks like that may not be as well known to people who didn’t grow up ravenously consuming the Mickey Mouse shorts. Lonesome Ghosts is a 1937 short starring Mickey, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they play ghost hunters who were called in by a group of ghosts who wanted some mortals to mess around with. The Lonesome Ghosts house immediately brings to mind Ramshackle dorm, including the inside which is also torn up and abandoned.
The Ramshackle ghosts look at lot like the Lonesome Ghosts too, just without legs to give them a more traditional ghostly look.
When Yuu finally gets to their room, it is basically a recreation of Mickey Mouse’s room most recognized from the game Epic Mickey. But the room’s first appearance was in the 1936 short Thru the Mirror, an Alice Through the Looking Glass type story where Mickey gets transported into another world though his mirror.
He goes on a musical adventure on the other side, causing trouble the whole way. In both Epic Mickey and in Thru the Mirror, Mickey is taken to a world which is strangely familiar but also wrong. And in both stories he wakes up from this dream which turns into a nightmare.
Not to mention that this room in Twisted Wonderland is canonically connected to Mickey’s room.
We now have the second piece of the puzzle in the Twisted Wonderland story: Mickey Mouse, dreams in fantastic worlds, and nightmares.
Yuu: The Beastmaster & The Mouse
*Spoilers for Book 7 ahead*
In the Prologue, Yuu (a small but high-spirited friend) teams up with Ace (their impulsive and sometimes hot-tempered friend), Deuce (their endearingly dumb friend), and Grim (their friend who acts a lot like a pet) to defeat a blot creature and bring a replacement magestone back to Crowley. Crowley is in shock that someone finally got NRC students to work together despite the notoriously big egos of the students. He calls Yuu a “beastmaster” who can tame the students despite not being as powerful as them.
It’s foreshadowing for the events of Book 7 of course, but the Disneyland-like setting and Yuu’s connection to Mickey Mouse are all set here. Yuu, Ace, Deuce, and Grim are stand-ins for Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto in the Prologue. And Yuu’s eventual meeting with Mickey Mouse cements that, as every main character in Twisted Wonderland is a counterpart to a Disney character, Yuu is Twisted Wonderland’s Mickey Mouse.
Come Book 7, Yuu wakes up in Mickey’s room from Thru the Mirror. It’s made clear when Mickey shows up and explains the adventures he got into there, but the audience knows that this place is from a dream. When the blot creatures attack, Silver rushes in, explaining that his magic is the ability to hop from dream to dream. So Yuu, Grim, and Silver slowly start gathering everyone who is currently sleeping, waking them up from their dreams (and sometimes nightmares) to defeat Malleus together.
Just like Fantasmic, Yuu and the NRC students are taking their power back because all of it is a dream and they have the real power there if they believe in themselves. But instead of the Villains teaming up to defeat Mickey, the Fantasmic story is subverted with our Twisted Mickey teaming up with the “villains” towards their common goal of saving the school and all of Twisted Wonderland.
The end of Sleeping Beauty and the end of Fantasmic are the same: the hero defeats dragon Maleficent. Silver is equal parts Aurora and Prince Phillip and Yuu is Mickey. When you factor in some of the Twisted Wonderland concept art, we can expect to see Malleus’s full dragon form at the end of this book. Maleficent is killed in Sleeping Beauty and it’s unclear of her fate in Fantasmic, but since Twisted Wonderland is a twisted Fantasmic, I’m excited to see how the story gets subverted again at the end to get Malleus’ happy ending!
If you made it this far, I appreciate it! This post is a long one but I wanted to go into a little more detail than the original TikToks I posted this theory from and add bits from Book 7. If you haven’t seen Fantasmic, you can view each existing show (and some past versions) on YouTube. My favorite videos of them are below! It’s interesting to see the similarities in the stories, even if Yana Toboso didn’t actually take inspiration from it (I’d like to think she did though. She has a history of getting into research rabbit holes).
Disneyland’s Fantasmic is the original and has a full dragon animatronic for Maleficent (or... had... it exploded last year).
Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ Fantasmic differs by just how many villains are involved (all of them show up to murder that mouse) and the newest version has a lot more Disney heroes present.
Tokyo Disneysea’s Fantasmic has some of the most impressive light effects and floats and a really nice take on the magic mirror and Maleficent.
#twisted wonderland#twst#i know a lot of this has been pointed out before but i don't think anyone has compared it to fantasmic yet#twst & disney lore#twst meta

' Alice Through The Looking Glass '
Hope you enjoy this messy artpiece for your Yuu!Herta concept! :D
With the upcoming release of The Herta
I would like to share my thoughts on what I think a Herta! Yuu would be like.
Appearance wise: I think her soul would somehow end up trapped in one of her puppets when she gets teleported into Twisted Wonderland (mainly because I find it funny to imagine the TWST characters' reaction to meeting a hammer wielding puppet). Knowing Herta, though, she'll probably find a way to be able to transform back into her true form but chooses to stay in her puppet form until she returns home or during a difficult battle (like an overblot battle)
Personality wise: I think Herta would definitely be the "Alice" of Twisted Wonderland, being curious about the world's magic, the blot, the magical energy infused technology, etc. She would probably spend most time (when she's not intending classes) wandering around NRC and researching whatever caught her interest. I can also see her inviting herself (aka breaking in) to Ignihyde a lot so that she can check out their work.
Lastly: I can imagine that during the prologue book, she refuses to be a junior, saying something like, "You want to make ME, Member 83 of the Genius Society, a junior? Yeah, I don't think so.", and then convince (force) Crowley to give her housing. Then, the next day, while wandering around the school, the statues of The Great Seven catched Herta's attention. She then gets a couple of students (Ace and Deuce) to tell her about the Great Seven. Then you know what happens next....

Most of my twst ocs are from an academy I made up because my favourite trope is just silly side character watching or hearing from afar. The academy is called Harmonia Academy and its an academy that focuses on the beauty of art, music, culinary and finally magic.
A lot of them are made for silly, funny, and platonic interactions most of the time. There are a few ships, but I like exploring comedic and platonic routes.
Judging from what I know about the two academies in the twst universe. NRV is based on villains, and RSA is based on the hero's or more good characters. So, with Harmonia Academy, I'd be basing sidekicks/side stories or just things people don't usually focus on. Underrated movies as well. If that makes sense, idk I'm just rambling.
Right now, the houses/dorms in Harmonia Academy are (still brainstorming, I'm open to ideas)
♟️ Eboknight- Based on Through the Looking-Glass and what Alice found there (the sequel to Alice in Wonderland).
🦋 Aetherwing - Based on Peter Pan, but specifically the Tinkerbell series
🌼 Verdantspire - Based on the Tangled Universe
🗡 Starlance - Based on The Sword in the Stone movie
🔎Tideglimmer - Based on the Atlantis: The Lost Empire Movie
🪐 Planetaria - Based on the Treasure Planet Movie
🥀 Roseveil- Based on the Beauty and Beast Universe
My other thoughts are that the teachers and staff can also be based on other underrated disney movies, but specifically the silly symphony series. Or maybe the whole vibe of the academy in general aha
Note: I just finished chapter 1 of twst, so your input and ideas can very much help. After all this still is in a huge brainstorm process. You're all free to join so if you want to add your ocs or help do so.

I love reading source material for disney movies. I just read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and it's just like. "Holy shit was that a heartslabyul reference? Is that where twst got it from???"
Haven't watched the movies in years but I love the book. You know why I really love the book? There are charcters that didnt show up in the movie and I can make OCs!
In the book, the one who escorts Alice to the "who stole the tarts" trial (refrence) is a gryphon. Which is kind of like the queen of hearts pet? And I like him, so I made an oc.
His name is Geode, he's a (held back) third year in heartslabyul, and he's from the queendom of Roses. He got held back because he found lessons dreadfully boring and thought they took to long, so he never payed attention and got held back. He likes to sing, dance, and tell stories, as long as they don't get boring.
He's 19 years old.
He's a gryphon fae.
Tall. Tall as hell. About 6'4.
Literally eagle eyed. They're very pretty and would be a little scary his his personality wasn't. Like that.
His best friend is twisted from the mock turtle (I haven't really worked him out yet)
His hair is... he cuts it in the bathroom at night or he just pays Mock Turtle™ to cut it for him, but that doesn't really work out very well cause MT is always crying about something. It's layered but the layers are very choppy. His hair comes out in feather like tuffs though so it looks more artfully messy rather than a straight up abomination. It goes just beyond his shoulder blades.
Spend most of his day taking naps for chilling in the sun with MT, waiting for him to stop crying for 5 seconds so Geode can ask to copy his ancient curses homework.
He's basically a strange combination of leonas lazy habits and floyd attention span but it somehow all flies under Riddles radar. Mostly.
I've never actually read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, though I think I listened to an audio book of Through the Looking Glass when i was younger? It's on my list to read for this year though, I owe it to myself as both a Lolita and a twst fan. The idea of the queen having a Griffon pet is interesting σ( ̄、 ̄=) Poor Mock Turtle I hope he has access to tissues. I feel like Geo is getting collared on the daily, maybe he and Ace can have a little competition to see who gets away with the most shit.
I did a little doodle based off of your description, but i'm gonna put it under the cut since he's not mine yk?
He looked too soft and pretty until I drew his eyes, then he actually got a bit scary. I made his ears look like that since I thought a bird like fae would be similar to FFXIV Suzaku in her human form
I hope you do more with him! He sounds very fun!
#<3 asks#twisted wonderland#others ocs#i did draw noh earlier today but I need to do more research into 2010s scene clothes before i draw them properly#i'm trying to figure out their belt situation

Hello! You can either call me Ayu or MirrorMaze. As I was searching for Crowley's identity by solving all the riddles of Alice in Wonderland to do yume with him I was encountering a lot of hidden information that eerily and unexpectedly explain some odd things in Twisted Wonderland and that's the reason why I made this blog (apart from seeing beautiful fanarts and sometimes doing yume) I'm more specialized in doing analysis based on literatures that were used in the making of Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass, and since from my latest votes everyone seems to be interested in it, I decided to create a masterlist for my analysis and theories. This blog is dedicated to twst theories/analysis based on Lewis Carroll's famous works, Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass, which is a time capsule of the Victorian era that has been studied throughout centuries from many disciplines and becomes one of all-time best selling books.
You can also send me questions, as long as it's still related to twst theories.
Twst Theory/Analysis Masterlist :
Alice in Wonderland is a book full of satire in Lewis Carroll's lifetime which can be related to cultures, politics, arts and so on in that time period. So if you do find something rather "disturbing" in my twst theories that are based on the original book of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, please just treat it as if you are reading an academic paper or historical literatures.
[Status: Unfinished] means that the theory will be rewritten in the future as I gather more information, and [Status : Completed] means that it's finished. If the title doesn't have a link it just means that I'm still gathering information on it and is not starting on it yet.
The Story Concept of Twisted Wonderland : Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass [Status : Unfinished]
Ace's Hidden Character Concept : "Ace in Alice" [Status: Completed]
Deuce's Hidden Character Concept : "A Trump Card Equivalent to Ace" [Status: Unfinished]
Grim The Jabberwocky [Status : Completed]
Something about the egg (Humpty Dumpty riddle) [Status: Completed]
Malleus's character overview part 1 [Status: Completed]
Malleus character overview part 2 (Diasomnia chapter analysis based on Brothers Grimm version and Charles Perrault version of Sleeping Beauty) [Status: Completed]
Grim and Malleus
Crowley's Key and Grim : Why Grim can open the coffin that can only be opened by Crowley (Rabbit Hole riddle)
Crowley's Hidden Character Concept : "Nevar Raven, Mad as a Hatter" (Mad Hatter's riddle from Mathematical perspective) [Status : Completed]
Crowley's Hidden Character Concept : The Man Who Knows "Time" Better Than Anyone (Mad Hatter's riddle)
Why Crowley isn't Levan (Malleus's dad) : Some things to be considered - Part 1 [Status : Completed]
Why Crowley isn't Levan (Malleus's dad) : Some things to be considered - Part 2 [Status : Completed]
Crowley who might be Levan's nephew : analysis from Lewis Carroll's diary about Alice Liddell's family [Status : Completed]
A Way for Yuu to go Home : The 4 Terms of Timespace Equation (Mad Hatter's Riddle) [Status : Unfinished]
NRC's long time tradition - The student admission ceremony : Something better in Crowley's possession that's better than S.T.Y.X. Lethe (Dormouse riddle)
The Looping Dream : everything is not real [Status : Unfinished]
Disney's very first work older than Mickey and any other Disney's fairytale : Alice's comedy
The Mirroring World [Status: Unfinished]

spoiler warning for diasomnia book(?):
i think that the events and groovied cards in twst might be the dreams from the sleeping curse after all. the timeline doesn’t fit and they’re all the protagonists in the story as well. also, remember how the groovy cards are shown, there’re thorns all over them before it changes. the ending made it seem like the whole twisted wonderland just happened once upon a dream. if so, then it really is like Alice Through the Looking Glass.
that ending is so beautifully haunting, it’s so perfect BUT I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPEN NEXT 😭🥀 MALLEUS PLS

Two of us
man I really hate this.
tw: guns, blood, stalking, deaths, character death.
this is based on the Alice Killings. There is no Yuu so this may just be a twst au…
The two of us.
There were two of us. Riddle and…Riddle.
You were the Alice that lived, and yet? You don’t remember it all. A Diamond, a spades, a Clover, and the trump card.
You dress in your perfect dorm uniforms while I get lost in wonderland. You live on to study for your tests and grades while I haven’t even passed junior high. We are the same yet we both have different stories. I am to change that.
<3
The first Alice walked into the world called wonderland…
Cater doesn’t know where he is or what he is doing. He only holds a random stick he found to fight the thing off.
With bated breath he tries to run. The “people” keep on trying to grab onto him. Dragging him down to his doom. He fights them off the best he can. He can’t use his magic. He tries and it doesn’t work.
Then the Alice strays too far, Lost within the woods!
He hides in a shrouded area. Where trees lays. He feels eyes on him. He looks around with wide eyes. He tries to keep his guard up.
He hears a giggle…
He looks up….
A Diamond card is now placed on his strangled body…
————————————————————
The second Alice was a fair and gentle gentleman.
Deuce felt tied up to a chair. Yet he can feel that there is nothing holding him down. He looks around yet everything seems blind.
“Hello! Who are you!” He screams as he hears footsteps, “Help me please! Let me out!”
As he sings people would gather ‘round.
Then, a bang echoed.
Shot him dead to the ground!
The spades card was placed in the middle of the young boy’s chest. Blood seeped through from the shots fired. [RIDDLE] could only smile.
_________________________________
Trey was afraid. Was this where Cater and Deuce went? He sits in a never ending throne room. Dressed in an attire for the kings and princes of successful lands.
The crown rests upon his head. With shakes breaths he looks around cautiously. His glasses askew.
The room messed with his perception of vision more than him without his glasses. He tries to stand up yet it seems like he is glued to the seat.
Why does he feel so tired? Why does he… his looks as he skin wrinkle. It went from slowly at his tips to rapidly up his arm. He tries to yell out yet no one was there. He sees and feels his fingers disintegrating. He can’t do anything.
Once a lovely girl now she’s just an ugly corpse…
Riddle and Ace were afraid with how their friends seem to disappear. Yuu was locked in their own room from grief.
The two looked through the bodies in horror at each gruesome sight. All with a playing card being placed…
This was not an Unbirthday Party….
On the bright forest path, that’s where the forest parts.
The two students seem to be lost in the woods.Ace ran beforehand as he sees an opening. Riddle following after.
A tea party with blue roses, that’s where our journey starts.
The taller red head seems to stare in horror before looking at Riddle in anger. “You knew of this didn’t you?! You did this!” He yelled accusingly at his dorm leader.
Riddle looks at him with wide eyes before looking forward…
A tea party… all set up. The seats were full… except for two… The mangled and bloodied bodies of their friends, all sat in order. All seemed to be missing a part. The rest of the seats were filled with stuffed animals. The plates now… the cupcakes seem to be half eaten and full of poison or blood. The platter in the middle made a metallic scent with it being filled with human organs that laid down. A few teacups had a heart that has now stopped beating. And at the very end of the table…
There sat a red haired boy. A letter laid, hiding his face as the boy drank his tea. Riddle knows this boy… The boy sets down the teacup and places the letter down.
A letter from the queen it actually was. The trump card, THE ACE OF HEARTS!
The boy was Riddle. Or deemed to be Riddle.
The boy smiled.
The clever older Riddle, the younger stubborn Trappola.
Riddle widens his eyes in horror. He looks over at Ace who seemed to be quiet. Too quiet.
He screams and stumbles back in horror.
Ace was decaying before his own eyes. Ace stumbled towards his dorm leader in a panic before falling to the ground. With wide eyes, he dies.
None would ever wake up from the dream that they had planned. For ever, lost within the land called wonderland!
Extra: [Riddle] pats Yuu’s head. Yuu only looks down emotionless behind their bunny mask.
“You did a good job.” He says.
