I know this is probably unrealistic but I really want Ash to bond with the Fairchilds in TWP. I want Dru to somehow get Ash back to Shadowhunter Academy and for Luke and Jocelyn to adopt him as their grandson. Like how we got Jace and Kit bonding I want some Ash and Aunt Clary bonding. Maybe him even adopting the Fairchild last name.

I want Ash and Kit to become friends (they would he powerful as hell parabatai if they were on the same side). But also for the symbolism of it. Like we know that Kit’s Herondale ring was originally James’ and if Ash somehow got Matthew’s Fairchild ring I would cry and cry.

I've started reading Chain of Iron, and the mention of the ceremony where Shadowhunters are proctected from demonic influence has me thinking. Since Kit lived in hiding for most of his life, was unknown to Shadowhunters and didn't like them, would he have had the ritual done?

We know Clary did with the help of Jem and Tessa, but considering Kit was fully unknown until he was 15, I highly doubt this was done on him.

It does make the fact that Lucifer is going to make an appearance more interesting if this is taken into account

thought about the livvy & jace/janus parallels again 378 dead 2992 injured... like wdym they were killed by the exact same sword, with jace being stabbed in the back & livvy stabbed in the front. wdym they were raised on the shores of the exact same lake almost exactly five years apart. wdym they were both came back wrong. the way livvy and janus share the common goal of just wanting to get what they lost too, and they both spend their gotsm stories watching their loved ones with no way to properly interact with them despite how badly they want to.

Yk what I want for twp? Kit and Ash to have this reluctant siblings dynamic. Lol it’d be so fun, in the beginning they could kinda be untrusting of each other but then they’d have to work together and then they fight like siblings all the time but gradually grow to support each other and all hehe

What keeps me up at night? Thinking about how Kit went along with Ty’s plan to raise Livvy and never showed Ty he had an issue with it. Then, out of nowhere (for Ty at least), declares his love for Ty in the middle of an intense spell, and decides to run away to England after something Ty says in a moment of extreme stress and heartbreak. Leaving Ty to effectively lose two of the most important people in his life in one day while feeling like the worst person in the world. Yeah, that thought makes the nights long, not gonna lie.
