I verbally committed to a year with the district manager I met with who rehired me to sell mattresses. It seems achievable and ultimately the game industry will take about that long to really get its feet under it again.

In the meantime I’ll get to beef up my portfolio and look into rigging commissions. There’s a ton of personal projects and continuing education I can do in a year. I’ll get a good paycheck while I work on all those side projects.

But uhhhh. Downside. We get five PTO days a year.

Five.

I get to take five days of vacation in an entire year. That’s 1% of the year.
