-No official figures at the moment, but this scream-deamoness is the new generation of muscle! With a battery setup that can surpass even a Redeye, with a battery that can produce 800+ horsepower, Maeve can electrify the track with new-age performance! The lack of an exhaust system is no problem thanks to the integrated Fratzonic chamber, reaching sounds of 126 decibels, just as loud as a hemi V8!

The Z34, equipped with a roaring 3.0L VR30DDTT Twin Turbo V6 and a thrilling 6-speed FS6R31 manual transmission, finally met the cravings of drivers left yearning for more in its predecessors, the Z34 and R35.
Enter Tomei, the legendary powerhouse in automotive tuning since its inception in 1968. Tomei’s legacy in motorsport and commitment to excellence has birthed the Expreme Ti Full Titanium Muffler Kits. Crafted with top-tier materials and engineered for supreme performance, these mufflers are the dream upgrade for enthusiasts seeking to unleash the true potential of this iconic sports car.

For the Nissan Z enthusiasts craving the lightest exhaust system imaginable, Tomei introduces not one, but two, Expreme Ti exhaust systems! The Type-R single muffler kit and the Type-D dual muffler kit promise to take your Z’s performance and sound to the next level.
The Expreme Ti Full Titanium Mufflers for the Nissan Z are lightweight, strong, and highly durable. Using titanium maximizes weight reduction and durability while simultaneously providing that tantalizing racing note.
SILENCER CASE
This part is made from Titanium with the pipe size of Φ152 and 1mm thickness.
The oversized shell design optimizes exhaust gas flow which helps with power gains.
Then with the embossed Tomei logo and beautiful heat gradation colouring gives it the finishing touch that you’d expect.
PUNCHED MESH
Made entirely from Titanium of 1mm wall thickness and with the open slot ratio of 32.6%. With the combination of light weight Titanium material, the high flow design delivers a really nice racing exhaust sound.
GLASS WOOL
The long fiber wool threads were adopted for the silencer.
This type has proven to last longer than the traditional fiberglass materials even over a longer period of time with extensive high temperature exposure both at high and low pressures.
Flange
Flanges are cut from 8mm thick titanium, making them more resist to cracking and warping. In addition, the opening diameter is kept the same as stock to ensure a secure seal.
Type- R Single:
This new exhaust utilizes thin (1mm wall thickness) titanium piping with a single exit design. The midsection is connected with springs and clamps instead of flanges. With large 3.5 inch (89.1mm) piping, this exhaust offers significantly more flow than the OEM exhaust, which results in more power.
Compared to a Factory Nissan Z exhaust, the Tomei Expreme Ti is 29.7lbs lighter!

Maserati MCXtrema Hits the Track Ahead of First Delivery
Maserati MCXtrema, the Trident's uncompromising 730-hp ‘beast’ has returned to be unleashed into its natural environment: the track. It will be undergoing a series of tests until late April, aiming at the delivery of the first model, planned for late summer 2024.
MCXtrema, a non-road-homologated race car produced in 62 units, was created to break the mould and invent new paradigms. The epitome of Maserati DNA and of the extraordinary performance characteristic of everything the 100% Italian brand produces, MCXtrema offers up evidence of its disruptive attitude to racing between the curbs of the circuit where it could be seen in action in a series of fundamental tests to gather the data needed for the final tune-ups. The Trident’s exclusive creation is one of the brand’s boldest cars in terms of development and is an evolution of the Maserati MC20 super sports car, its inspiration and basis.
In February, it had its first official outing at the Autodromo Varano de' Melegari (Parma), where MCXtrema was taken to the track by Maserati chief test driver Andrea Bertolini, one of the most successful drivers in the GT class with four world titles aboard the glorious MC12, who has been working on its development in the dynamic simulator since the early stages.
The February shakedown and subsequent milestones to refine its performance have been the ideal setting to unleash the full power of the 730-hp (540-kW) 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, based on the Maserati Nettuno and taken to the next level.

HSX 2 page poster brochure. Translations of all pages up on my Hirocima Cruisers page. Translations of main text from 2 HSX sections below. The HSX was the concept car that became the production Mitsubishi GTO / 3000GT
It stimulates the senses.
You can experience the thrill of driving.
A new generation of ultra-high performance sports car,
HSX.
The design form is intriguing.
Everything evolves. Cars are no exception. Or rather, it is the people who have been driving the speed of evolution by accepting the general consensus of the people's demands head on.
It might be possible.
There is.
The transmission is a 5-speed manual. The brake system is equipped with 4-piston aluminum calipers and ventilated brakes in the front and ventilated brakes in the rear.
Basic performance that has been thoroughly refined. Dry
When the driver improves his skills, the car responds. The car is in constant dialogue with the driver, sharing his feelings and deepening the emotions together. The more the driver and the car mature, the more they bring out the best in each other. The pinnacle of technology plays a role in unleashing the seeds of emotion hidden within each individual driver.
And so, the car has come this far.
HSX. A fusion of emotion and reason.
A beautiful form. Just seeing it has such an attractive force that your body heats up with anticipation of driving. Your heart trembles when you see its ultra-low and wide proportions of 1255mm high and 1880mm wide. The active aero system is symbolized by the Targa top roof and front and rear spoilers. The car's consistent design policy of "exuding driving energy even when stationary" pulsates throughout.
It is a car that responds to people's love. Its alluring charm. The design of the car seems to exude the unique will of the HSX.
Touch it. Feel the texture. Each surface is overflowing with supple beauty. Subtle curves. The intricacy of the form conveys not just the frame, but even the warmth of the craftsman. Once it starts moving, it foretells the vibrant beauty of its movement.
I saw the ultimate performance that can be demonstrated casually.
Just because it's a sports car doesn't mean it's a stand.
The HSX is a sports car for adults that has mastered the total balance. It is warm. The components are exactly the same as the HSR-II, V6, 3000DOHC 24 valve.
Twin turbo twin intercooler engine, Active Footwork System (4WD, 4WS,4I, 4ABS+ECS)
The tires are ultra-flat 245/50R17 tires.
We saw the ideal in car manufacturing with its high level of safety.
In order to satisfy the needs of our passengers, we always
It is necessary for the wheels to be kept in a controllable state. This can also be said to be the foundation for high safety. All-wheel control. This philosophy is embodied in the AWC HSX. If it is not sensitive, it cannot lead the times. If it is not exciting, it is not a car. And if there is a lack of a safety mindset, there is no capacity to make a car.
There is no class. The HSX clearly tells this philosophy. A story of driving. The difference between happiness and happiness between people and cars. Cars are steadily and rapidly becoming more and more high-tech. With today's car technology, it is not so difficult to bring a "very extreme car" to the world.
It's not that difficult. But I don't want to call it evolution. There is no future for a hollow Rakuei. Without the first thesis that people will come, there will be no tomorrow of cooperation. "Run, turn, stop." How far can we pursue high performance and safety based on the original functions of this car? When I stand in front of the HSX, one conclusion springs to mind. Evolution
It's not the car that's doing it, it's the people.
_____________________________________________________________________
The 28th Tokyo Motor Show Concept Car "HSX"
HSX
High safety and high performance driving. Mitsubishi's cutting-edge technology is alive in this vehicle.
The HSX is a full-fledged sports car that embodies the high-performance driving of the previously developed HSR-II in a form closer to a production model. It comes close to Mitsubishi's symbolic ideal in all aspects: power, form, and mechanism.
With a V6, 3000DOHC power unit and an Active 4 (4 valves, 4WD, 4WS, 4IS, 4ABS) as its base, this car is a perfect embodiment of well-balanced high technology, befitting a sports car of the new era. Every inch of its supple form is filled with incredible potential.
The engine is a V6, 3000DOHC 4-valve
Equipped with twin turbos and twin intercoolers, the drivetrain is equipped with a large-capacity 5-speed manual transmission and a full-time 4WD with a center differential with VCU. In addition, the mechanisms of the most important basic functions of a car, "running, turning, stopping," such as front strut and rear double wishbone suspension, 4WS that responds to vehicle speed and steering force, ultra-flat 245/50R17 tires, front and rear ventilated disc brakes (with 4-piston aluminum calipers on the front wheels), and 4ABS, have been taken to a new dimension.
It has already attracted attention both at home and abroad for pioneering the driving sensation.
I am.
Its overall height is 1255mm, its overall width is 1880mm, and its ultra-low and wide body proportions are truly sports. Its two-seater and targa top roof give it a style that is "still stationary, yet exudes driving energy."
What it quietly and proudly asserts is the aerodynamic performance that has been thoroughly pursued for driving, and the aerodynamic technology that is appropriate for a new-age sports car. The outstanding aerodynamics of the HSX, called the Active Aero System, are a concrete application of the aerodynamic technology that was developed in advance for the HSR-II. However, the original mission of the HSX is not to show off its powerful power and risky driving.
Each technology is carefully developed.
The result is a machine.
A heart that embraces you for running is poured into you
I'm here.

Jaguar XJ-RS Hypercar Concept
What if...Jaguar made this ridiculous Hypercar, and it was actually done right? Pulling inspiration from it's elder the XJ220, the XJ-RS is similarly styled with some update ques and design for aerodynamics. It would be equipped with a Twin Turbo V6 motor with electric all wheel drive, paired with a manumatic transmission with paddle shift and shift indicator. This would certainly be direct competition with Bugatti and Koenigsegg Hypercars.

Review: 2025 Genesis GV80 3.5T Prestige AWD
As good as anything out there in the Luxury SUV market, the Genesis GV80 looks and drives great. Why spend more?
GV80 as good as, or better than, other luxury SUVs … Possible I’m starting to sound like a pop-up video ad that vexes your phone or tablet every time you sign in. Or, for my fellow old-timers, I’m sounding like a broken record. But Genesis has exceeded expectations, again. Why am I surprised? The new GV80 luxury mid-size SUV is as good as, or better than, anything I’ve driven. No need to keep…

Features included remote-controlled entry, satellite navigation, rain-diffusing glass and cameras instead of rear vision mirrors. Some of these features are now commonplace, 32 years ago they were revolutionary. There was seating for 3 in a 2+1 configuration, accessed by a clamshell-like canopy that split into two as it opened

(via Dodge debuts the 2024 electric Charger Daytona, with 670 horsepower | Ars Technica)
Dodge unveiled a fully electric version of its Charger muscle car earlier today. The Charger is not quite ready to ditch internal combustion entirely—variants with twin-turbo V6 engines under the hood are on the way, too, but none will have the same performance as the 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack, which boasts an electric powertrain with 670 hp (500 kW) and a quarter-mile time of just 11.5 seconds...
but of course you gotta have big-balls mode:
...The electric muscle car promises to sound louder than most other EVs, too, due to something Dodge is calling the "Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust," which combines chambers and speakers under the car, plus some actual pipes, to create the car's soundtrack. Don't worry, introverts—there's also a "stealth mode," which should be quieter.
...at least you can turn it off

First Look: The Ferrari 296 Challenge
On the eve of the Finali Mondiali, which take place at the Mugello Circuit between October 24 & 30, Ferrari will present the 296 Challenge, the ninth model in the history of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli.
Due to debut in the Europe and North America series in the 2024 season, the 296 Challenge introduces a slew of new features with respect to the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo and, in certain respects, is a revolutionary design.
The new 296 Challenge is the embodiment of an innovative new philosophy that has seen far-reaching work carried out on the road car to optimise its specifications for track use. Both in terms of performance and lap consistency throughout a race, the 296 Challenge rewrites the parameters of the Prancing Horse single-make series, offering solutions that closely mirror the specifications of the 296 GT3, which made its debut this season.
Derived from the 296 GTB, the 296 Challenge ushers in substantial modifications on the power unit, aero and vehicle dynamics fronts, all aimed at guaranteeing maximum performance on the track. It is the first car in the history of the championship to be powered by a 120-degree V6: the new model sports the 2992cc twin turbo engine without the hybrid component, a choice also made for the 296 GT3. The engine unleashes 700 cv with maximum torque of 740 Nm, with the result that the 296 Challenge sets a new power record for the segment with 234 cv/l.
The 296 Challenge’s aero package delivers downforce figures unprecedented in the single-make series’ history, ensuring the maximum efficiency in all conditions. In fact, the 296 Challenge generates in excess of 870 kg of downforce at 250 km/h with the spoiler at its maximum angle of attack.
The car sees the debut of ABS EVO Track, a specific adaptation of the innovative system introduced for the first time on the 296 GTB. With the addition of new CCM-R PLUS brake discs, both braking performance and consistency are improved. New, specifically-developed Pirelli 19” tires have also made a substantial contribution to the car’s handling and performance.
