I cycle a lot, and people are confused why I get so mad at drivers who pass super close or maintain speed as I’m about to make a turn but I just want to make something abundantly clear; in a fight between a 2 tonne hunk of metal powered by explosions and a tiny 15kg metal frame powered by my legs, the 2 tonne hunk wins. Every single time.

Its 1964 and here we have a gentleman setting out for his place of work in London, which we will see later turns out to be the old US Embassy in Grosvenor Square Mayfair. Off he motors in his lovely MG 1100 through the streets of London, getting into all sorts of a muddle and upsetting other motorists and pedestrians alike, who take it I might add, with a Britishness sadly not often seen any more. Almost quaint when we consider how it is today out there with the brutal fight to get to work. What went so wrong....
