For those who know me, I tend to view celebrities of all types and all places with a slightly cynical view. My dad sort of ruined parasocial relationships with brands and famous people as he’s in product marketing. (Not entertainment, but he said marketing uses the same techniques and tactics for almost every field or situation.)

Short version: the goal of any company is to market their product/person in a positive light. They will craft this image to appeal to the majority of people that could be interested in the product/person. In order to keep things going between the audience/fan and their product/person, the company will continue to release relevant content or materials to remind the public about their product/person and encourage the audience/fan to engage by purchasing said content or materials.

Twenty One Pilots said it well with their song “Ride”: “But it’s fun to fantasize!” The fans need to remember that fantasy does not equal reality most of the time.

To those who used to support the individual in the news now, I’m sorry and I hope you’re going to be okay. To anyone affected in the situation coming to light, please take care of yourselves.

i have since been informed that the screenshots of that conversation were fabricated. i apologize, it turns out that an english translator was used and the source was proven to be false. nonetheless, this changes nothing about the situation.

i hope we all have an understanding that this is not a kpop issue, but a women’s rights issue. as previously stated in my original post; men, no matter where they’re from, what family they come from, who their friends are, they are not immune to being misogynistic, vile human beings. the people closest to us could be hiding the worst secret imaginable. men, having mothers, sisters and daughters, does not stop them from committing heinous crimes against women. it doesn’t matter that they have a strong female presence around, they could still turn out to be anti-women and do it all wrong. it only takes another brainwashed woman hater to turn the rest into one of them.

i also would like to point out that this is not the time to start fan wars, because this is not about kpop or us fans, or who you stan or don’t stan. this isn’t a “gotcha” moment, for you to blame fans for supporting him when nobody knew. it’s not the time to promote your faves or post shit with, ‘my faves would never’. that’s what everyone says/thinks until your fave DOES. it’s insulting to the victims, making jokes out of this. and let’s not blame women for supporting bgs, bc saying things like “good thing i only stan ggs” is not making anyone look good, not you, and not your faves. the blaming women for enjoying things is crazy, bc how are we not going to assume that the people we’re supporting are decent human beings at the very least? that’s the bare minimum, for you to expect someone to be a kind, normal human being who treats people with respect, as everyone should. there will always be terrible people in this world, but we can’t blame anyone but the criminal themselves.

i would love to stop posting about this, bc it is getting to be a lot, and is very overwhelming, but i want to keep voicing the issue at hand. korean women have desperately been trying to reach out to international media and gain our attention in the states, so that we can help them spread the word about what has been going on and what they are being subjected to. it’s sickening to look at the evidence of these vile people hurting innocent women and minors of all ages, but if it means we keep this relevant for as long as possible, then i will keep posting on every social media platform to amplify their voices. please continue to share, and spread as much (credible) information for these victims as you can. they are being singled out and targeted for speaking up, and we need to be their voice from across the world.

please please take care of yourselves, take breaks if you need to. just sharing things does a lot, and supporting the people around you who at any point have been in a situation like this, does more than you know.

The new information regarding Taeil isn't a surprise to me. As expected from the immediate removal from NCT by SM Ent, it was a serious crime. He has been accused of quasi-rape (rape of an individual who is drunk or under the influence and unable to resist) against an adult woman with two friends. This incident took place in June, right before NCT's Walk album comeback. He was less involved during this album due to the motorcycle injury he suffered from last year apparently, as I've seen some reddit posts and comments complaining about mistreatment and lack of lines and screen time for a main vocalist. However, he wasn't too injured to gang rape a drunk woman with two friends (who were not part of NCT, given that no one else in NCT has been looked at or charged).

I am disgusted but not surprised.

If any of this information I've gotten was wrong, please let me know with your source because I don't want to put out anything that will harm anyone due to misinformation.

The recent news out of South Korea is stomach turning. The tragedy that is the current state of life for woman in South Korea is depressing to think about let alone live in & experience on a day to day basis. I hope all the victims get justice, find peace & can one day live in a society that doesn’t few them as prey, even in the “𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙩𝙮” of their own home. After the Scarlet Dream Girl have encountered so much new traumas that have lost her part of her self...

And the biggest trauma that stabbed her heart, her eyes filled with unstoppable tears and heartbreaks, shattered her happy memories like glass, joyful and cheerful dreams from both past, present and future has turned into haunted nightmares, melodies that she listened were turning into a ringing blur...

Her whole part of her own self...has lost all of her vivid color...

And most of all, the people who used to love her has now turned their backs away from her after this one incident that can have a horrifying shock from the rest of their lives...

She became a girl who is now no longer she was used to be.

She became a girl whose lost in an empty black void with no exit to escape.

Her fragile life became even more fragile and broken like a broken doll.

She is now cursed after they are talking about that one disturbing incident that impacts people who used to love her.

She is powerless, worthless, meaningless...A loser.

She is a useless one, a garbage who deserves to be thrown into a trash can and into the dump.

She is not normal...A monster...

And the only one she can only do for the rest of her life...

Is to watch the whole world burn...And filling with despair and losing humanity.

Because her world...Her safe haven...Has finally no longer her safe place.

Behind The Poetry Work

This new poetry work has inspired by after seeing the news about Taeil of the Kpop boy group NCT due to the huge scandal, it has finally come that my life has finally turned into a traumatic and depressing one for real now.

And that's when I finally decided to stop being a Kpop fan forever because Kpop was supposed to be my safe have but it has now turned into a haunted nightmare. I even stay away, filter, hide, mute and block from new Kpop updates, whether it's comebacks or other stuff. That includes K Drama too because I am done from seeing Hallyu anymore because of the trauma happening. I even look away those billboards and posters from every Kpop artists who are endorsers from every brand. Plus, the spark of joy of listening to Kpop songs has come to an end forever. And currently listening to Ukrainian Music now.

Not only that but also, after all the happy things that became a part of me who are already taken away, I am no longer the person I used to be anymore. I even lost motivation on loving Anime and other stuff as well (Example: Reading books) after what happened in the world of Kpop. (Except my love from watching recorded TV commercials from around the world (Mostly from USA and Europe) and cooking videos on YouTube, Love and Deepspace and sometimes Honkai Star Rail (Temporary hiatus until everything will be resolved))

All I can see now are negativity, unhappy endings, depression, violence, death, drama, ruined hype, losing humanity and all the bullshit.

And just like 2023, 2024 is not my year once again. Not only I encountered so much pain, trauma and depression, I even suffered a health issue as well that made my happy life turned into depressing as ever. My health results isn't great as they said I have a fatty liver and high cholesterol that I have to eat everything healthy without frying, fats and even cheese + REGULAR EXERCISE EVERYDAY!

Lastly, as always, I hope you will enjoy reading this poetry work. My life is currently in an even bigger situation that's even more difficult than ever so please understand right after I end this note.
