I am definitely a doctor. And I believe it is because colds are close enough to being family that is would be rude to kick them out of the house before they are ready to go. Stomach viruses however are uninvited guests and are allowed to be removed promptly.

usually when you have a stomach bug your body is like yes sir we'll get this punk out of here, 48 hours tops. then you get a cold and your body is like I dunno ... between a few hours and eleven months ... maybe a week minimum .... you gotta understand we're short staffed

what if childe doesn't want to break up with you, yet he's also aware that someone being close to a harbinger was way too dangerous, keeping you as his significant other would be a death sentence for you— his enemies are countless, he doesn't fear them but you should. what if he cannot protect you? aside from that, even within the fatui, he cannot trust a single individual.

who knows if somebody was actually able to find out about your secret relationship and use it in order to force childe into doing something? blackmail him or threatening to hurt you if he doesn't comply? can he even come to your rescue then? just thinking about you dying in front of him makes him want to fall asleep and never wake up.

after he went through those multiple concerns spreading inside his head, trying his hardest to find a solution, or, an answer. childe ultimately decided to break up with you— of course, in order to protect you.

but what's worse than that is that the harbinger was aware that, if he was to say it's due to "keeping you safe" you wouldn't accept it and would probably change his mind.

the thought alone of you looking at him with those eyes of yours, with droplets of tears hanging from your lashes, childe would fall to his knees immediately and admit defeat.

what does he do then?

you see, he's lying, lying that he's fallen out of love with you, that there was someone else he's fallen for yet that person wasn't you anymore.

he doesn't feel anything when he looks at you. no love, no future, he doesn't want to touch nor feel you, hear or see you.

saying those words out loud, precisely to your face actually broke his heart into a million pieces.

childe thinks he's numb now, and his colleagues were already talking about how weidly ruthless he's gotten over the past weeks— more pitiless and bloodthirsty than before, like he's lost a part of himself after he's lost you, after he pretended like he cheated on you so you would let him go.

childe doesn't care anymore, you were the one reminding him of his humanity, but with you gone, what even was humanity to him?

he doesn't mind that you hate him now, to him it means that you'll never come anywhere near him anymore, he's succeeded with his plan on keeping you protected from harm— meaning, that you're finally safe now.

Remember the dreams I've been having recently, they keep going

I finally know the names of all the kids I hung out with.

I woke up this morning, I wanted to cry. I missed all my "friends". I've always been slightly hesitant towards taking about this because it is just a dream.

I haven't told my mom or dad, I am telling you about it because maybe you can help me understand.

My closest friends are Roxanne and Amara.

Here's all that happened:

[Dream 1]

I was in the room with other kids and Nurse Sandy (the care taker). I found myself to be alone and afraid. I saw many sick people and feard I was ill. Nurse Sandy assured me I was PHYSICALLY healthy.

Then I personally met these 3 (in order) :

Amara: a talkative girl who always has something to say. She's not afraid to voice her opinion. She gets attached to things (and people) and won't let go. She appears to be about 12 years old. Most kids leave her alone to avoid being kicked, punched, bitten, and/or scratched.

Ophelia: a shy, quiet girl who rarely speaks, she used to be the target of Amara's violence. She has scars all over her body. She's 13 years old.

Roxanne:

I did learn that she likes spicy food.

[Dream 2]

I got to know Roxanne. We talked to each other and told jokes. She told me about her home life and I told her (some things) about mine.

[Dream 3]

I learned about the lives of Amara and Ophelia. Amara and I became close friends. She told me not to be too trusting of the kids there. I asked her who she trusted and these were her exact words, "I trust you and Roxanne, you are the only two who don't judge me or push me away, I don't usually trust people this easily but I can trust you."

After that the two of us got separated (for the day) and I was told by Blake (one of the kids there) not to trust Roxanne or Amara. "They're lying to you! They're manipulating you! Listen to me Blondie THEY WANT TO USE YOU!"

I woke up wanting to cry.

I feel like, given how insane of a show Murdoch Mysteries is and the fact that Canadian fans get the next season like, 6+ months before everyone else, it'd be really funny if Canadian fans started banding together to full-on lie to the rest of us about which insane thing they made happen this time.

Like just. Casually make a post talking about how Margaret Brackenreid murdered Albert Einstein in the most recent episode. And everyone else, out of pure dedication to the act, reblogs it like, "yeah that was crazy. anyway-"

And the rest of us are like "omg they did WHAT" because this show is so bad we can actually sort of believe that could happen in it. And the Canadians are laughing. They're laughing at the rest of us.

Actually that's just my theory on the whole "Inspector Brackenreid has the real Mona Lisa in his closet" thing I've been hearing about this week. I see you, Canadians, and I will not be duped.

(tw bullying, abuse, betrayal):

Dr. Keh came from another town which thought pizza making was stupid.

Dr. Keh originally came to the pizza town because he hated it in his original hometown. In addition to that his living situation was becoming dangerous (mainly because one of his bullies had a lot of power, and they used it to constantly endanger his life), so he was forced to move.

Dr. Keh had a lot of adjusting to do once he moved to the pizza town, because they had things like ghosts and the like. He used to think that people were stupid for believing in fantasy creatures, now he deals with them daily.

He has a young nephew named Anthony, who he took in because Anthony's parents suck.

Dr. Keh sleeps for a few hours after work because he's always exhausted.

Dr. Keh spends a lot of time studying pizza related facts. He also spends a lot of time watching the news.

Dr. Keh enjoys attending pizza-related events, and he won every single one until the ovenist came along.

Dr. Keh rarely shows emotion on his face.

Dr. Keh is extremely introverted and often misanthropic.

Dr. Keh was bullied a lot when he was younger.

Dr. Keh changed his name when he moved to the pizza town, because he didn't want any association with his old town.

Part of the reason Dr. Keh is misanthropic is because he had one friend who betrayed him really badly and displayed his secrets (really personal ones) to everyone.

Another part is that he found out the hard way that some people only cared for his fame, but they could care less about him. Dr. Keh has undiagnosed autism and ADHD.

Dr. Keh rarely ever is still unless watching the news or sleeping.

Dr. Keh really likes fancy things.

Dr. Keh struggles with taking criticism well because he has a lot of negative emotions associated with it, and the bullying he faced made him view any form of criticism as the beginning of a verbal or physical attack.
