MEN ARE FUCKIN COMPLICATED AS SHIT!!!
鈿狅笍: rant ahead (solely for entertainment purposes)
You don't need an expert to say this but trying to find a man (or boy) to date or even just get to know is so fuckin hard. You think women are weird with their mood swings? Try boys!
I have been texting this japanese guy who randomly approached ME and he was alright. BUT NOW, unfortunately, what was smooth sailing has now become shitty lake water.
Our "friendship" is approaching its one year and yet that guy refuses to show me his face or reveal what he sounds like through facetime; says he's insecure. Ok, that I kinda understand that crap! What I don't understand is how can this guy be insecure if he can send me a pic of his fuckin abs?(don't know if that's him tho)
What gets even weirder is that he disappears for weeks/months at a time and when I ask what happened he gives me reasons and explanations that are vague as shit! At first I was ok, thought he probably needed his space and alone time. It happened a second time, I was chill. Third time was the charm because I lost my cool with the reasons he's pulling out of his ass and immediately he gets defensive! I mean if your friend goes missing for a long time, you eventually text ti find out if they're alright. That's the normal response! I gave up on that eventually馃槙
THEN HE DROPPED THE FUCKIN BOMB: he said he likes me! WTF...the dude ignores me yet he has the audacity to like me when I know jack about him. This is the same dude that refused to give his best friend my profile in fear that his friend would flirt, work his way into my heart and he would lose me (his words not mine). What the actual fuck should I make of this?
It's been another 2 months since he ghosted me (again). His friend has been keeping me company and he's seems like a good guy I guess.
Honestly it's so fuckin disappointing. I wasn't expecting much tho. In my entire life, I haven't dated or been in a relationship so I'm actually clueless. The disappointment approaches the point of being hurtful because even though I wasn't expecting a lot- from a guy who sits a thousand miles away, who refuses to show me who he really is even when it's been a year- it doesn't make it hurt any less. He's my age so I guess that's why it bothers me.
I don't know wtf went wrong but I do wish it worked out.

What Is The Role Of The Core Curriculum Subjects?
The core curriculum is defined as the most basic and essential knowledge that a school believes all students, regardless of their age, should have.聽It is a good idea to provide a basic foundation for further broadening experience.聽English, mathematics, and science are considered to be the core curriculum subjects; whereas, the rest of the subjects are known as the Foundation Subjects.
聽Curriculum; in general, serves as a main instrument for the all-round development of a student thus developing the social, physical, emotional, and intellectual aspects.聽This is why all schools focus on core curriculum and聽National Public School Vidyaranyapura聽is one of the聽best CBSE in North Bangalore聽with a well-structured curriculum.
聽The core curriculum provides the students the foundation of knowledge of human cultures, and the physical and natural world.聽The core curriculum has principles of personal and social responsibility for living in a diverse world.聽It also provides advanced intellectual and practical skills that are essential thus forming a route for all learning at present and in the future.
聽The first step however is the need for analysis involved to develop the core curriculum.聽Hence, the role of the core curriculum subjects becomes very vital for any school and any student due to the following reasons.
聽Critical Thinking Skills (CT): Creative thinking, innovation, inquiry, analysis, evaluation, and synthesis of information are included in the core curriculum.
聽Communication Skills (COM): Consists of written, oral and visual communication for effective development, interpretation, and expression of ideas.
聽Empirical and Quantitative Skills (EQS): Includes the manipulation and analysis of numerical data or observable facts resulting in informed conclusions.
聽Teamwork (TW): Includes the ability to understand and consider different points of view and work effectively with others, to support a shared purpose or goal.
聽Social Responsibility (SR): Includes knowledge of civic responsibility, intercultural competence, and the ability to engage effectively and act responsibly among regional, national, and global communities.
聽Personal Responsibility (PR):聽Includes the ability to connect choices, actions, and consequences to ethical decision-making.
聽NPS Vidyaranyapura鈥檚聽vision:

i don't think people realise the mental toll it has on students to write 2 board exams. that's basically double the anxiety, double the amount of sleepless nights and unending breakdowns, double the amount of invasive questions and doubting your marks, and double the pressure from your teachers and parents. and also double the dread you feel while waiting for your results.
"but you only have to write half the portions instead of writing the whole thing again" that doesn't make it any easier, "you have different modes of examination for both terms", which confuses the students and makes it extremely jarring to immedietaly adapt to another mode (subjective) after being thoroughly trained for most of the year to prepare for your exams in one way (objective.)
"but you have to make projects for each subject, that's fun and also a easy way to score marks" it's creatively draining and exhausting to do research and write each and every page of content in a neat manner and meet different rubrics for each fucking subject.
I'm not implying that the preceding batches have had it easier; if anything they dealt with their own impediments and it's fucked up that each batch has to go through so much experimentation and trouble because of the CBSE's preparation (or lack thereof) to deal with the pandemic. and ik i should be grateful because we atleast got to write our exams unlike the previous batch because we don't have to deal with uncertainity or jeers of people who say they've had it easier because they really fucking haven't, but what i am saying is that stop saying the system of 2 board exams is efficient and smart, because you have no fucking idea how hard it is, especially since we ('04 batch) are the first batch to have to go through with this plan and CBSE's turbulent planning and horrible experimentation, we deal with the delayed dates and changes in the QP pattern in the last minute with so so much stress and anxiety, and let's not bring up the amount of errors in the official fucking answer key.
so no, i will not be grateful and i will definitely not say that we have it the hardest, but what i am saying is try and empathise with the students for once.

@tayllorsswiftt we had this chapter in 10th grade which was about an overweight dog whose mistress was anxious about the dog's weight so she takes him to a vet who runs the dog through a whole "dieting" process. in conclusion it was an absolutely fucking useless chapter and we learnt jackshit from it.

the questionable passage that caused speculations
i am sure that many desi people, majorly indians, saw the outrage over the english paper of class 10 of the cbse term one examination, and it is very valid. for reference, here is a picture of the said passage, which i got from an instagram post (pls correct me if this is the wrong one)
Tumblr media
read the whole passage carefully.
do you see how the passage is subtly trying to imply the regressive, sexist and misogynistic views that people still have about females in the society? "in the twentieth century children became fewer and the feminist revolt was the result" is clearly showing how there are some people whose still think that feminism is bad and is not necessary at all, because oppressing women, denying their rights, not treating them like humans is easier and way better, right?
"children and servants were taught in this way to know their place" literally this line is fucked up. like, it seems as if children and servants are insignificant and cannot have a say in anything at all.
"the emancipation of the wife destroyed the parent's authority over children" is seriously one of the most stupid and crap sentence i've ever seen in my life.
from an article in the indian express, i got to know there was an objective question in which one of the options was whether the writer of the passage "seems to be a male chauvinist pig or an arrogant person." which should be the answer imo, because given the tone of the passage, this was the most appropriate one. the marking scheme released by the cbse later said the correct answer was that the writer "takes a light-hearted approach to life."
now what i want to ask is, in what way exactly is this a light hearted approach to life? you clearly are raising old regressive views and you call that light hearted? on top of that, you are imposing these kind of views on 15 year olds, who are already stressed as fuck because of the difficult and long papers that the students have to give? don't you see how problematic it is to teach such things, or give a passage on something like this on an exam, during times when there has been a lot of emphasis on educating about gender stereotypes and gender equality; emphasis on why feminism is important?
i don't know what intentions the person(s) who set the paper had, but this does seem very mind boggling to me. cbse, frankly, needs to rethink on many things, it's not just about this, in general too. i don't know what the hell this board is going to do next, other than further worry the students.
for more information, you can search 'cbse class 10 english 2021 controversy' and find articles by the indian express, times of india, hindustan times, etc and read them.
(again, if there is anything wrong, or something i did not mention, then please don't hesitate to correct me and i will edit it out).

Board results are out... I got 86.4... Mom was busy telling the whole family what a disgrace I am lol. I feel so sick, I really can't do this anymore... I threw up twice today, been crying a lot lately and have been unable to focus on anything else. My parents seem to have felt bad after seeing my condition so they are trying to be nice rn... I asked mom to take me to therapy and she finally agreed. Online counselling isn't very affective in my case I guess. I know I'm a big big loser. But I'm studying things I don't enjoy. That's the honest truth. I'm not making excuses but all my friends were taking coaching since class 11, while I had to jump from one online tuition to another. I don't know what i'm gonna do in the future... My JEE results weren't that good and I doubt my NEET scores will be any better. I did get some nice colleges through my WBJEE and AIEESE scores and also got admission in KIIT but my parents obviously want 'better'. But I know my level. I'm dumb, I'm stupid, I'm not IIT or AIMMS material. Why don't they understand that... I'm so tired of all this... Never been more suicidal in my whole damn life. I hate this country, its reservations and education system. I wish I wasn't me.
Anyways, good day to whoever bothered to read this. And don't worry, I'm hemophobic, can't possibly cut my veins even if I want to lol.
