his fingers grazed through your hair, tugging at your roots almost soothingly as tears rolled down your cheeks. The powerful man had you bent over his lap. “You know how I feel about you slumming around with mortals, darling.” Elijah whispered in your ear tauntingly. His free hand traced circles over your reddened ass—his handprint evident. His rings induced more pain than you’d like to admit, but it was an addictive feeling. “M sorry, sorry—please, I won’t do it again. Was jus’ trying to be nice.” You whimpered out.
His hand gripped your ass cheek roughly, pulling you up by your hair ever so slightly. His warm breath fanned your neck as he inhaled your scent. “Mmm, he looked very comfortable, you know. Putting his arm over your shoulder—“ he said, pushing your panties to the side and rubbing a finger at your entrance. “Whispering in your ear—had you all giggly, hm, baby?” He said, entering a finger slowly.
you gasped at the intrusion of his fingers that were much longer and thicker than yours. “Tell me, what was so funny?” He asked as he began to repeatedly slam his fingers into you. You were at a loss for words, the only thing you were capable of doing was moaning like a bitch in heat. “You just wanted my attention, didn’t you? Little minx.” He laughed, deep and full of knowing. “Say it, or I’ll stop.” He urged, fingers never faltering.
“Y-Yes—ohmygodd! Please, needed this so baddd..” You moaned out, your words slurring. Elijah loved having you like this. Bent and at his mercy, allowing him to do whatever he pleased with you. “That’s ittt, good girl.” He said, voice low and full of need as he listened to the sloppy noises your juices on his fingers were making.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮- 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞
Female reader X Damon Salvatore
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: A woman grappling with melancholy confronts her emotions by the shore. Despite pressure and tears, she walks away from her past, only to be confronted by a familiar person, Damon Salvatore.
AN: I wrote this quickly & decided to add a big twist to it... Idk if I like it, but here it is...
Tumblr media
The feelings of melancholy were overwhelming her body. As the tide pushed against the shore and the cool air blew through her hair, she could feel herself succumbing to the emotions. The pressure of having to make decisions was all too much for her. So, as she took a deep breath in, she took in the moments of silence before chaos ensued.
She turned around, headed towards the illuminated street. Wiping tears away from her eyes, she walked away, her feet digging into the sand still. Out of nowhere, a dark outline of a person emerged from the shadows.
“Wait…” He called out.
The voice sent chills down her spine. The voice was full of familiarity, but was also something she was trying to forget. Brushing it off, she kept heading toward the street. Her heart grew heavier as she walked away from her past.
In mere moments, leveraging his extraordinary supernatural prowess, he adeptly positioned himself ahead of her. His blue eyes glistened in the light of the night sky, casting an irresistible allure that she struggled to defy.
“Damon, please just go.” She mumbled, pausing her strides toward the street.
She continued, “How… how did you even find me? I tried so hard to leave you behind, but here you are…” With tears pouring down her face, her voice grew louder. “JUST GO!” She had tried for months to forget about him, but no matter how far she went, nothing could ever erase him from her memory; He was deeply engraved into her brain. This time, she went to the extreme by leaving mystic falls, but once again, Damon found her.
Damon slowly made his way closer to her, closing the gap of distance between them. At this point, he could clearly see her swollen eyes and the puddles in her eyes that flowed onto her cheeks.
“Y/N, I cant just sit here and let you leave me. I am miserable without you.” He confessed.
“That wasn’t what you were saying when Elena came back. You seemed to really be able to let me leave you then, Damon. Please, go back to your happy life and leave me alone.”  She started walking again, her shoulder pushing against his. Before she could take a full step, Damon's hand grasped on her wrist, slightly tugging her back.
“Elena is nothing compared to you, Y/N. You embody everything I've sought throughout my eternal existence. With you, my immortal life gains meaning; you are the pulse that rekindles the sensation of a beating heart within me.  It feels like I am sired to you, but I know it's just an everlasting love that we both built that is keeping me coming back to you.” He spoke.
His words seemed to cut deep into her heart, making it hard for her to keep walking. She was frozen.
“It's as if an unbreakable bond ties me to you, yet I understand it's the love we've cultivated that compels me to return to you time and again." He exhaled, “I can say I’m sorry a million times over again, but you need to let me show you how sorry I truly am. Please, come home.”
She turned her whole body around to face him, mustering up the courage to say anything to him. It was as if in that moment, her bond to him was completely shattered. How can one profess to love another so profoundly, only to, in the same breath, betray that love by engaging in infidelity with an ex-partner who looked exactly like you? The doppelganger curse will never be broken, but she was determined.
“I’m not falling for this again, Damon. Leave me alone.” Fueled by the anger coursing through her veins, she slammed her palm against his cheek, delivering a resounding smack. He released her wrist, granting her the freedom to stride away into the obscurity of the night. No residual pain lingered in her heart; she was, at last, unburdened. Something about that conversation provided the closure she had long sought.

Just a little blood
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You and Damon had been together for a few months. At first, you could say it was a bit rocky. With Damon and his reputation as a player, it was hard to be confident in a relationship with him, but he surprised you. He really did.
And what always made you believe that it would never work was when you found out about Damon being a vampire, and you're just a human. For you it was going to be like Twilight. But now? It's proving something very different.
Now, in a moment of taking advantage of Stefan's departure from home, Damon said he wanted to try something new with you. And you, with your curious instinct, definitely accepted.
You're lying on the bed, completely naked for him. Damon, on the other hand, is in his boxers and nothing else. He's busy kissing your breasts, while he caresses your clit with his thumb. When he finished working on the breasts he said.
"Where do you want it today?" He asked with a husky and slightly breathless voice, and with his usual sensual look. You got what he meant. Every time you're in bed, you choose a place for him to drink your blood.
"I think something more classic. Neck" she smiled. You always chose that one, there was no specific reason, but Damon didn't accept it and very carefully bit your thigh and you laughed at his stubbornness.
"I said Neck" You said.
"No. I'm always on your neck. I need new things. Just a little blood" he joked and continued to drink the blood, and sometimes let out some grunts of pleasure at the taste of blood.
Strangely enough, that's really pleasurable.

︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜
It was the first week of September, marking the beginning of your first year in college. You were excited to say the least, you have always dreamed of living the typical university life; hanging out with your friends, fraternity parties, going out with the hottest guys on campus and stuff like that.
Your roommate, Samantha, seemed fine, she was the same age as you and was very friendly to you when you introduced yourself. Of course, the first thing you did when you met Sam was give her a hand shake. As a witch, you could realize if the person you were touching was either a vampire, a human or even a witch like you.
You found out you were a witch last year when you accidentally caused a fire at a pool party. Ever since then, your grandma has been teaching you how to control your magic. The lessons started with simple spells, such as a locating spell. Your grandma insisted that one of the first things you should learn was how to defend yourself against a vampire, knowing that vampires often force witches to obey them.
You woke up early in the morning, you checked your phone to take a look at your timetable. You had Economics class in a few hours, so you proceed to do your morning routine; brushing your teeth, having breakfast and taking a shower. Once you were out of the shower and finished drying your hair, you used your hands to wipe the fogged-up bathroom mirror to see your face. It was your first day, you wanted to be beautiful as hell, so you started putting on makeup.
The first thing you saw as you opened the door was Samantha, your roommate, laying on her bed while scrolling through social media.
“Good morning, Sam” you greeted her as you walked to your closet.
“Morning, Y/N, how did you sleep?” she sat down on her bed and put her phone down
“Like a baby, these beds are great” you replied while taking off a few shirts from your closet, not looking at her.
“Yeah, I could tell you loved them; you snored all night,” she said with a playful tone. You stopped what you were doing and covered your face with your hands, trying to hide how red your cheeks had turned. She couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m just messing with you, you don’t snore, thank God.”
You had a chit chat with her as you both were getting ready for class. Eventually, she went to the bathroom and you headed to the classroom. You thought you were so lucky to have a roommate like Samantha, she was cool.
When you arrived at the classroom, you saw that only a few desks were occupied. You didn’t want to sit in the back, but you didn’t want to be in the front row either, so you decided to sit in the middle, in the only empty row.
You watched as the seats gradually filled up over time. There were five minutes left before the class started—in fact, the professor had already arrived—and yet the seat to your right remained empty. It caught your attention because you didn’t think a subject like Economics would have any empty seats.
However, it didn’t take long before someone sat down next to you. You turned your head and locked eyes with a black-haired boy you had never seen before, someone who looked like he’d been sculpted by the gods. You couldn’t take your eyes off him, and apparently, neither could he. You stayed like that for a few seconds… in silence. Until the boy decided to break it.
“Hello… my name is Jay” he said with a shy smile on his face.
“I’m Y/N, nice to meet you” you replied, also with a shy smile.
He opened his mouth to say something, but the professor cut him off by starting the class. You both turned your heads to the professor. You quickly took out your laptop and started taking notes, and so did Jay.
The class was… not what you expected. It was boring as hell. You were interested in the topic he was teaching; the problem was how he was teaching it. On top of that, he spoke in such a low tone of voice that it felt like he wanted his students to fall asleep during his class.
At some point you got distracted and, because of that, you lost the string of what he was saying. When you tried to get back to taking notes you weren’t able to understand, since it was related to what he explained during the time you got distracted.
You sighed before looking at Jay; he never stopped taking notes. “Jay…” you murmured in the lowest tone possible. He tilted his head to face you. “Would you mind showing me your screen for a sec?” He didn’t hesitate to turn his laptop in your direction so you could copy his notes. “Thanks”
“It’s nothing,” he responded. You noticed he was staring at you as you were writing down his notes. You finished quickly.
As the class ended, you packed your things, feeling the relief of finally escaping. Jay, however, stayed seated, watching you with a smirk as you slung your bag over your shoulder.
“Hey,” he called, stopping you just before you stepped into the aisle. “Got a sec?”
You glanced down at him, one brow arched. “What is it, Jay?”
He leaned back in his chair, spinning his pen between his fingers. “How about you give me your number?”
Your lips curved into a smirk. “My number? For what, exactly?”
“To return the favor,” he said smoothly, tapping the edge of his laptop. “You know, for letting you copy my notes today. Seems fair, right?”
You gave him a look, not missing the way his eyes gleamed with playful confidence. “Hmm, sounds less like returning a favor and more like you’re finding an excuse to talk to me.”
Jay’s grin widened, clearly enjoying your response. “Caught me. Guilty as charged,” he admitted without missing a beat. “But hey, I figure someone like you might be worth chatting with outside this horrible class.”
You didn’t hesitate this time, pulling out your phone with a shrug. “Fair enough,” you said, typing your number into his contact screen before handing it back.
“Done,” he said, glancing at his phone to check your name. Jay stood, slinging his bag over his shoulder as if this whole interaction had been the most natural thing in the world. “See you next time, then. And don’t worry, I’m not much of a spammer, unless I get bored.”
He gave you a wink before strolling out of the classroom.
︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜
Later that night, you were brushing your teeth, thinking about Jay. You liked guys who took the initiative, and he was also handsome as hell. He hadn’t texted you yet. You weren’t dying for a text, but still, you wanted to know more about him. You thought about searching for him on social media; however, you only knew his first name, and it was a common one, so it was going to be hard to find him on Instagram. That’s when you decided to ask Samantha to help you get his last name.
You heard Samantha yell, “Found it!” Oh, that was faster than you expected. You left the bathroom and sat next to her. “I found him on your class list. His last name is Park.”
You grabbed your phone and started searching for Jay Park on Instagram. You visited a few profiles before finally finding his account. He had posted a few pictures of himself at the beach, at the gym, and at parties.
“Girl, he’s so handsome. Check his stories,” Samantha said, leaning over your shoulder.
You tapped on the highlight named “bros,” and as you were scrolling through the stories, you saw one of Jay with another guy on a yacht.
“Oh my god, look at his friend. He’s way hotter,” Samantha chuckled. She was literally all about boys. Luckily, Jay had tagged his friend in the story, so Samantha didn’t hesitate to grab her own phone and follow him. His name was Lee Heeseung.
A few hours later, Samantha fell asleep in her bed and you were on yours, still stalking Jay. You noticed something, in every picture he was wearing the same ring, maybe it had a special meaning to him… or something like that. You checked your timetable, you only had Economics on Mondays and Fridays, meaning you wouldn’t see Jay until the end of the week unless you and him shared another class.
At that moment, you received a text. It was from Jay, greeting you and asking what you were doing.
“Not much, just about to sleep,” you replied casually.
His response came almost instantly. “Going to bed so soon? Making sure you won’t fall sleep in class again?.”
You chuckled, typing back, “I wasn’t that bad. Your notes were just too detailed, they knocked me out.”
Jay’s next message had you smiling. “I’ll take that as a compliment. Guess I’ll have to tone down my brilliance next time.”
“Or just get a louder voice,” you teased, feeling a little bolder.
“Ouch. Brutal,” he replied. “But fair. So, do we have any other classes together, or is it just Economics?” He send you a picture of his schedule
“Apparently just Economics, Mondays and Fridays,” you wrote back. “Why? Hoping I’ll help you stay awake in other classes too?”
“Maybe,” he replied, and you could almost hear the grin in his words. “I mean, it’s a solid setup. You get my notes; I get a decent excuse to stay awake. Win-win.”
“Wow, you’re really thinking this through,” you answered, amused.
“Always,” Jay texted back. “Anyway, let me know if you ever need more life-saving notes. I might ask for payment next time, though.”
“Payment?” you replied, raising an eyebrow. “What kind of payment?”
“You’ll see,” was all he said, leaving the conversation hanging with just enough intrigue to keep you curious.
︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜
You spent the rest of the week texting with Jay. Eventually, you followed each other on Instagram—of course, you didn’t tell him you had stalked him. Even though your chats were never particularly deep, you felt surprisingly comfortable talking to him. He mentioned that he and Heeseung had been friends for a year. Speaking of which, Samantha had a date with Heeseung that Thursday.
You were lying on your bed, watching a movie on your laptop, when someone knocked on the door. Samantha hurried out of the bathroom and walked over to you. She was wearing a casual outfit—simple but effortlessly stylish. She had spent nearly an hour deciding what to wear, yet she somehow made it look like she had thrown it together in a minute.
“How do I look?” Samantha murmured, careful to keep her voice low so Heeseung wouldn’t hear.
You paused your movie and playfully scrunched up your nose in mock disapproval, making her look momentarily worried.
“I’m kidding! You look gorgeous. Now go open the door,” you said with a grin, pressing play to continue watching your movie.
She opened the door, and Heeseung greeted her with a warm smile. After they exchanged hellos, Heeseung raised his voice toward you.
“Y/N.”
You paused the movie again and looked at him.
“Jay sent you this,” he said, pulling a sleek, luxurious box from his jacket pocket.
You stood up and walked toward him, noticing that he didn’t step inside your dorm, even though he was talking to you.
You took the box from him. “Thanks. What is it?”
“I dunno, open it,” Heeseung said, looking intrigued.
You opened the box and… wow. You hadn’t expected such a beautiful bracelet. It had a charm that looked like silver. You took it out of the box and slipped it onto your left wrist.
“It looks gorgeous on you!” Samantha said with a smile.
“Giving you that bracelet so soon? Interesting…” Heeseung commented with a teasing tone.
“What’s with the bracelet?” you asked, glancing at him.
“You’ll find out sooner or later,” he said cryptically before turning toward the hallway. “You coming, Sam?”
Samantha closed the door behind her, and just like that, they were gone.
You looked down at the bracelet. You didn’t know why, but you had a bad feeling about this whole situation.
Shaking off the unease, you told yourself it was just a thoughtful gift from a cute guy at college. You texted Jay to thank him for the bracelet, and he replied almost instantly:
“Glad you liked it.”
A few seconds later, another text popped up:
“If you like it, you should wear it all the time. I bet it looks pretty on you.”
︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜
You went to bed early, so you didn’t hear Samantha come back to the dorm.
Friday morning arrived, and you went about your usual routine. Standing in front of your closet, you spent a few minutes debating what to wear—you wanted to look good, confident, and just the right amount of irresistible for Jay.
As you were sifting through your options, Samantha walked in, practically glowing as she started gushing about her date with Heeseung.
“You should wear this shirt; it’ll look great on you,” she said, pulling out a shirt and holding it up for you.
You smiled at her suggestion. “Oh, by the way,” she continued, “Heeseung told me some of his friends are throwing a party tomorrow night. Wanna come? Jay’s gonna be there.”
“Sure, sounds fun,” you said, taking the shirt from her and slipping it on.
After finishing up and checking yourself in the mirror one last time, you headed to Economics class. You sat in the same spot as Monday, settling in and glancing around, but Jay wasn’t there yet. However, a few minutes later he arrived and sat next to you.
“Morning, Y/N, how are you?” he said with a smile on his face. God, he was so handsome.
“Oh, hi, Jay. Fine, you?”
“Same,” he replied casually. His eyes drifted to your wrist, noticing the bracelet he had given you. “It looks pretty on you.”
You tilted your head slightly, a playful smirk on your lips. “Does it look pretty on me, or I look pretty with it?”
Jay chuckled, leaning a little closer. “Maybe both,” he said smoothly, his grin growing wider.
You rolled your eyes as you bit your lower lip. You were going to answer him, but the professor started the class.
The class was proceeding as usual. During it, you could feel Jay glancing at you from time to time.
At one point, Jay leaned closer to your ear and whispered, “Are you going to the party tomorrow?” His voice took you by surprise, and for a moment, it sent a shiver down your spine.
“Yeah, Samantha told me you and Heeseung are going too,” you replied softly.
“That’s right. By the way, my favorite color is black,” he said with a sly smile before turning back to his laptop, thinking the conversation was over. But you weren’t done yet. Leaning closer to his ear, you whispered back:
“My favorite color is red.”
If he wanted you to wear black, he’d have to show up in red. You smirked to yourself and returned to taking notes as if nothing had happened.
The class finally came to an end, just as boring as the first one. You and Jay started putting your things away, still sitting in your chairs.
“So, I have to show up in red if I want to catch your attention, right?” he asked, a playful smile on his face.
“Yeah, and I have to show up in black to catch yours,” you replied, matching his teasing tone.
In that moment, your phone vibrated, so you quickly took it out of your pocket. It was a message from your mom. You unlocked your phone to reply but accidentally dropped it on the floor. You bent down to grab it, but Jay was faster.
“Be careful, if you break it, you won’t receive my texts,” he teased, leaning down to hand your phone back to you.
As you grabbed your phone, your fingers brushed against his. The moment your skin touched his, you felt it—a cold shiver ran through your body, like death itself had brushed past you. It was like darkness wrapped around you for a second. You let out a small gasp, a sound of discomfort you couldn’t hide.
“What happened? Are you okay?” Jay asked, his voice full of concern.
It couldn’t be real. Jay was… a vampire. Your new college crush was a freaking vampire. You’d spent the past week texting him, getting to know him, and now it all felt wrong.
“Ye-yeah… I have to go!” you stammered, your heart racing. Before he could say anything else, you quickly stood up and bolted for the door. You could feel his eyes on you, but you didn’t dare stop. Your mind was spinning, and you needed to get out of there.
In your rush, you didn’t notice Heeseung waiting outside, apparently for Jay. You bumped into him, and… it had to be a joke. Once again, that horrible feeling washed over you. You felt death crawl through your body.
“Watch where you’re…” Heeseung didn’t finish his sentence because this time, you just kept walking, nearly running.
Your heart was pounding, and you could barely catch your breath. So far, you’d met three people, and two of them turned out to be monsters.
In that moment you realize why Jay had the same ring in all of his pictures, it was a daylight ring, it allowed him to walk freely during the day.
What should you do? Go to the party and confront them? Pretend nothing happened? You had so many questions, and then you remembered that Samantha had gone on a date with Heeseung.
You ran back to your dorm and slammed the door open. “Samantha!” you shouted desperately. You shut the door behind you. She was lying on the bed, texting on her phone.
“I’m here! Don’t shout, it’s still early,” she said as she got up. “What happened?”
“Are you okay? Are you hurt?” You bombarded her with questions, scared of what Heeseung might have done to her.
“S-sure. What’s going on? You look like you saw a ghost.” You were pale, sweat running down your cheek from all the running. When she told you she was fine, you let out a sigh of relief.
You sat on your bed, trying to calm yourself down and think clearly about what to do. Right now, you needed to figure out how to get Samantha away from Heeseung without making her ask too many questions.
“Listen to me, you can’t keep seeing Heeseung.”
“What? Why?”
You weren’t great at lying, but you had to come up with something convincing for Sam’s sake.
“I heard he has a girlfriend. Seems like he’s cheating on her with multiple girls…” you saw how her expression changed form confusion and worry to fury.
“What?! That son of…”
She grabbed the pillow from her bed and threw it against the wall in frustration. She started yelling in anger, saying things you didn’t think a girl like her would ever say.
“You know what? We’re going to that party. I’m wearing the shortest dress I have, and I’m going to ignore him the whole night while he drools over me.”
“I don’t think going to the party is a good…” you were cut off by Samantha.
“We’re going, and that’s final!”
︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜︜
You were sitting in the Uber with Samantha next to you, heading to the party. Jay had sent you a few messages since Friday’s class, but you didn’t even bother to open them.
As you looked out the car window, you got lost in your thoughts. Your grandma always told you that vampires were monsters—after all, they feed on innocent people. They could wipe out an entire town just for fun if they wanted to. Vampires are murderers.
But Jay seemed like a good person. He hadn’t done anything to hurt you. In fact, he even gave you a bracelet, which you were wearing at that moment. If Jay were truly evil, he would have attacked you by now. You had held onto that thought for the past two days.
Was it possible that good vampires existed? Vampires who didn’t kill? You were desperately trying to convince yourself that Jay wasn’t like the others. But that didn’t change the fact that he fed on people, probably killing them in the process.
Samantha was wearing a short red dress, while you had opted for a dark blue one. Of course, you weren’t going to wear black. You planned to ignore Jay the whole night and mind your own business.
When you arrived, you stepped out of the car and were greeted by the sight of a mansion packed with people. It was massive, with at least three floors. A few people were smoking and drinking on the porch. As you approached the entrance, the music grew louder and louder.
Once inside, you scanned the room for Jay. You needed to know where he was so you could avoid him. It didn’t take long to spot him—he had a beer in his hand and was chatting with a group of guys. He was wearing a red shirt, and it suited him almost too well. You recognized Heeseung among the group, also holding a beer.
At that moment, you and Jay locked eyes. Your heart skipped a beat, and you quickly looked away. “Let’s go get some drinks,” you said to Samantha, grabbing her arm.
You both headed toward what seemed to be the kitchen. Jay looked confused. Everything had been fine until Friday morning, but now you were ignoring him. He needed answers.
An hour later, you and Samantha were drinking jungle juice while dancing in the yard. The weather was nice, and the yard wasn’t as crowded as the house, making it the perfect spot. You were slightly worried about Samantha. You’d only had two glasses, but you’d lost count of hers after four. She seemed fine, though—at least, until she opened her mouth.
“I want to talk to Heeseung,” she said loudly so you could hear her over the music. “He deserves to be embarrassed in public. He’s an asshole.”
“Sam, don’t waste your precious time on him. He’s not worth it,” you said, praying she wouldn’t do anything stupid.
She sighed. “You’re right…”
Eventually, you needed to use the bathroom—you’d drunk too much. Samantha followed you back into the house to look for it. You asked a random guy for directions, and he pointed you upstairs.
As you were walking, you felt someone staring at you. Turning your head, you saw Jay watching you intently. He raised his hand to wave, but you quickly avoided his gaze again.
“I’ll wait outside to make sure no one comes in,” Samantha said as you entered the bathroom.
You peed quickly and washed your hands. Looking at yourself in the mirror, you noticed your makeup was still intact. You weren’t drunk, just in a “happier” mood.
Your phone vibrated as you were about to leave. It was a text from Jay: “Is everything okay?” You read the notification but didn’t open it. Instead, you deleted it.
When you stepped out, Samantha was nowhere to be found. She was way too drunk to be wandering around alone. You quickly texted her, “Where are you?” You hadn’t been gone long, so she couldn’t be far.
You began searching for her while waiting for a reply. After ten minutes of looking with no luck, you glanced in Jay’s direction, hoping Heeseung was still with him. But of course, he wasn’t.
If you were worried before, now you were terrified. What if Samantha was alone with Heeseung? You didn’t even want to think about it. You started asking people if they’d seen her, growing more desperate by the second.
“Y/N,” a familiar voice called from behind. You turned to see Jay. You didn’t want to talk to him, but he might be your only chance of finding Samantha.
“Are you done avoiding me?” he asked, stepping closer.
You moved toward him, now standing just inches apart. Looking directly into his eyes, you said, “Where is Samantha?!” Your tone was sharp, almost yelling.
Jay was taken aback. He’d been expecting an explanation for your behavior, not you screaming at him about your friend.
“Tell me where the fuck Heeseung took her, or I’ll drive a stake into your heart,” you spat.
His expression shifted to one of shock and confusion. Did he hear you right? How could you possibly know what he was? Then it clicked—this must be why you’d been avoiding him. Jay didn’t know how you’d figured it out, but he wanted to help.
“I think he took her to the last room upstairs. Seung always takes girls there,” Jay finally said, still stunned. “But don’t worry—he’s not going to hurt her.”
“I highly doubt that,” you muttered before turning and heading for the stairs. The second floor was much quieter than the first. The long hallway ahead was almost empty. Desperate, you sprinted to the last door.
It was locked.
Looking around to make sure no one was watching, you sighed. If you wanted to help Samantha, you had no choice but to use your magic. Placing a hand on the door, you concentrated.
“Dissera portus.”
You heard the lock click open and pushed the door without hesitation.
What you saw inside was horrifying. Heeseung had Samantha pinned against the wall, drinking blood straight from her neck. She wasn’t moving or making a sound—he must have compelled her.
“Let her go!” you screamed.
Heeseung stopped and turned to look at you, intrigued. “How did you get in? I’m sure I locked the door.” He wiped the blood from his lips with his sleeve, completely unbothered by what he was doing.
You glared at him, rage boiling in your veins. “Let. Her. Go.”
He laughed at your words. "Here's the thing. I'd compel you to forget this ever happened, but Jay gave you that." He pointed at your bracelet. "So this is what we're gonna do: I'll give you five seconds to turn around, leave, and find Jay.
"Or what?" you asked in a challenging tone.
"I'm gonna kill you," he said like it was nothing.
He raised his hand and began counting.
With each number, he lowered a finger. "One, two, thr-"
He didn't finish. You were already casting a stern gaze at him, using the Pain Infliction spell, one of the first spells you learned. It wasn't verbal but still powerful, causing his blood vessels to burst and inflicting unbearable pain.
Heeseung screamed, clutching his head as if it would split open. "Fuck!" he yelled, falling to the floor and writhing in agony.
Samantha stood frozen, tears streaming down her face, utterly speechless. She didn't know what was happening-only that she wanted to leave.
"You shouldn't have messed with one of my friends, Heeseung," you said, stepping closer without breaking your concentration. "Burn in hell, vampire. Incendia!"
Flames ignited at his feet and rapidly climbed his legs. He frantically patted at the fire, but his efforts were useless.
"Stop!" Jay's voice cut through the chaos. He appeared behind you in an instant, his speed unmatched. "Please... He's out of control, but I can help him."
"He's a vampire," you spat. "He won't stop killing as long as he's alive. He has to die."
Jay realized words wouldn't sway you.
He looked at you, then at his friend, who was still thrashing on the ground. The fire had reached Heeseung's hips, and his screams were becoming weaker.
"I hope this works," Jay muttered to himself before using his speed to move to Heeseung. In one swift motion, he grabbed his friend's head with both hands and snapped his neck.
You froze. You knew snapping his neck wouldn't truly kill him-he'd recover within hours.
"Wha-"
"I'll make sure he's punished for hurting your friend," Jay said, turning to you, desperation etched on his face. "But please... don't kill him."
What were you supposed to do? Stop the spell and trust Jay? Attack him the same way you attacked Heeseung?
You looked at Jay, searching his eyes for answers. Something about him made you pause. Against your better judgment, you felt you could trust him.
Raising your right hand toward Heeseung, you whispered, "Suctus Incendia." The flames disappeared instantly.
"Thank you," Jay said softly.
You didn’t answer him. You ran to Samantha and hugged her. Her cry became louder as she left tears in your shoulder. You to patted her head hoping it would help her calm down.
“I… I can help you” Jay said as he approached to you. He rolled up his sleeves and bit his own wrist. “You’ll heal faster if you drink my blood”
You broke the hug and Samantha looked at you, waiting for your approval. You nodded your head and Jay leaned his hand, Samantha drank the blood from his wrist and in a matter of seconds, the bite mark Heeseung left in her neck disappeared.
After that you both headed to the exit. “Thank you, Jay” you said before closing the door of the bedroom.
————————-
You practically had to drag Samantha to her bed since she was in a total state of shock. Once she was lying down, you went to her closet, took out her pajamas, and handed them to her. After that, you gave her a glass of water.
“How are you feeling?” you asked as you sat at the edge of the bed, near her feet, which were covered by the sheets.
“I—I don’t know…” she stammered, her voice shaky. “I’m afraid, I—I’m confused.” She sighed deeply, her eyes welling with tears. “Vampires exist… Heeseung and Jay were vampires, and… and you…” She looked at you with a mix of fear and curiosity. “What are you exactly?”
“I’m… a witch,” you admitted, trying to give her a reassuring smile. “I don’t use my magic to hurt people.” You reached out and gently held her hand. “You’re safe with me, I promise.”
Sam took a small sip of water, her trembling hands barely steady enough to hold the glass. The room fell silent for a few minutes. Neither of you knew what to say or do.
Samantha sat there, gripping the glass of water so tightly her knuckles turned white. Her breathing grew uneven, and you could see the weight of everything she had just witnessed crashing down on her.
“I… I could have died,” she whispered, her voice trembling. Her words were barely audible, but the fear laced in them was undeniable. She placed the glass shakily on the nightstand and pulled her knees up to her chest, hugging them tightly. “Heeseung—he could have killed me. If you weren’t there…” Her voice cracked as she trailed off.
You stayed quiet, allowing her to let it out.
“And Jay… he didn’t even care. He was protecting that monster! What if they come back? What if more of them come after me?” Samantha’s breathing quickened, and her hands started shaking. “I’m not safe. Vampires exist, and God knows what else! Demons? Werewolves? What if this is just the beginning?”
She buried her face in her hands, trying to muffle the soft, panicked sobs that began escaping her.
“Samantha…” you said gently, moving closer.
“I’m just human,” she continued, her voice muffled. “I can’t do anything. I’m not strong like you, I don’t have magic to protect myself… I don’t even know how to fight!” She looked up at you, her face pale and tear-streaked. “How do I live like this? How do I go back to normal knowing there are monsters out there?”
You felt your heart sink. Samantha’s words cut through you, and you realized the full weight of what she was saying. This knowledge, this world she was pulled into, was tearing her apart.
You reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder. “Sam,” you said softly, your voice steady. “You don’t have to worry. I will protect you.”
She shook her head. “You can’t always be there, Y/N. And what happens next time? Or the time after that?” Her voice cracked again. “I don’t want to live in fear.”
You didn’t know what to say. For the first time, you realized that the truth—the world you lived in—was too much for her. It wasn’t fair to expect her to carry this burden.
You took a deep breath, your decision forming in the silence. There was a way to help her, to give her back the peace she so desperately needed. But it wasn’t a choice you made lightly.
Samantha sniffled, wiping her face with her sleeve. “I trust you, Y/N. I do. But this… this is too much for me.”
“I know,” you said softly. Your voice wavered, but you kept going. “I can fix this, Sam. I can make it so you don’t have to feel this way anymore. So you can be free from this.”
She blinked, confused. “What do you mean?”
You hesitated, guilt already weighing on your chest. “I know someone who can make you forget this ever happened,” you said softly. “But before I call him, I need to know if you’re okay with it. Are you in?”
Samantha stared at her hands, her voice trembling. “Forget? Like… completely? Everything about tonight?”
You nodded. “Yes. All of it. But only if you want to.”
She took a shaky breath and looked up at you, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “Call him, please.”
You gave her a reassuring nod, though the knot in your stomach tightened. Pulling out your phone, you quickly dialed the number of the one person who could help.
As you waited for him to answer the call, you walked to the bathroom and closed the door behind you. He didn’t keep you waiting for long.
“Y/N! I was just about to—”
“Jay, I need your help,” you interrupted, keeping your voice low so Samantha wouldn’t hear his name. You knew it would terrify her.
“S-Sure, what happened?”
“I need you to compel Samantha. Make her forget about tonight. Can… can you do that?”
There was a brief pause on the other end before he responded. “I’m on my way. I’ll be there in fifteen minutes.”
“Okay, thanks,” you murmured, ending the call. You took a moment to collect yourself before stepping out of the bathroom and back into the room.
“He’s coming,” you said gently to Samantha as you sat beside her. “He’ll be here soon.”
A few minutes later, Samantha went to the bathroom. For the first time that night, you had a moment to yourself, a moment to think. You sighed deeply, tilting your head back to stare at the ceiling.
Jay… Tonight, he showed you he’s not like other vampires. He could’ve attacked you from behind to save his friend, but instead, he tried to reason with you and even healed Samantha.
Your gaze shifted to the bracelet on your wrist. Heeseung had said he couldn’t compel you because of it. You figured it must contain vervain—the only thing that makes humans immune to compulsion. But you were a witch; compulsion didn’t work on witches, so you didn’t really need it.
A knock at the door pulled you from your thoughts. It must be Jay. Samantha was still in the bathroom. You stood up and went to open it. Sure enough, when you did, there he was.
“Hi… again,” Jay said, his voice soft, almost shy.
“Hello, Jay,” you replied briskly.
For a few moments, the two of you stood in silence, staring at each other. Then, he offered you a small, shy smile, his lips pressed together.
“Uhm… could you invite me in?” he asked hesitantly.
You’d forgotten—you needed to invite vampires into a private space before they could enter. You hesitated, knowing that once invited, Jay could come and go as he pleased. He could kill you while you were asleep. Or even right now, the moment you let him in.
But… you trusted him.
“Come on in, Jay.”
“Thanks,” he said, stepping across the threshold.
At that moment, Samantha came out of the bathroom, she froze when she saw Jay, fear flashing in her eyes. She clutched the bathroom doorframe, her voice shaky. “Y/N… w-why is he here?”
You quickly stepped toward her. “Sam, it’s okay. He’s not here to hurt you. I promise.”
Her eyes darted to Jay, who raised his hands in a gesture of peace. “I understand you’re scared,” Jay said gently. “But I’m here to help, not hurt you.”
“He healed you earlier,” you reminded her firmly. “If it weren’t for him, you wouldn’t even be standing. Trust me, Sam. He’s not like Heeseung.”
Samantha hesitated, glancing between you and Jay, before finally nodding. “Okay… I’ll try.”
You guided her to sit on the couch. “This will all be over soon, I promise.”
You took off your bracelet and placed it on the table next to the couch. Jay’s eyes followed the movement, and for a brief moment, you noticed a flicker of hurt in his expression.
“Please compel her to never take off the bracelet,” you said softly.
Jay nodded, sitting down next to Samantha. He looked her directly in the eyes, his voice calm and steady. “You won’t remember anything from tonight. You decided to stay home and watch a movie. You’ll put on the bracelet and never take it off, no matter what. After that, you’ll go to bed and sleep peacefully.”
A few seconds later, Samantha picked up the bracelet, slipped it onto her wrist, and walked to her bed, falling asleep almost immediately.
“Thank you… it means a lot” you said
“Don’t thank me. It was the least I could do after what Heeseung did to her.” Jay paused, running a hand through his hair. “But… it wasn’t entirely his fault.” He sighed deeply. “He was turned into a vampire a few weeks ago. At first, he was doing fine. I taught him how to resist the urges, how to survive on blood bags without hurting anyone. But… last week, his father died.” His voice softened. “He couldn’t handle the pain of losing him, so he flipped his humanity switch. He thought shutting off his emotions would be better than feeling the grief.”
As Jay spoke, his sadness was palpable. It was strange seeing a vampire care so deeply about someone else, about doing the right thing. It challenged everything you thought you knew about them.
“Heeseung isn’t evil,” Jay continued. “Not really. Vampires… we’re not all monsters. Some of us try to be better.” He hesitated, looking at you as if to gauge your reaction. “I don’t feed on humans. Blood bags are enough for me. I made that choice a long time ago.”
Hearing that caught you off guard. For so long, vampires had been nothing but a danger to you and the people you cared about. But Jay… he wasn’t like the others. He didn’t embrace the darkness that came with his nature. Instead, he fought it. And that, more than anything, made you feel something stir inside you.
Jay and you stepped out into the aisle just outside your dorm. The cool night air brushed past as you faced each other in silence. You carefully closed the door behind you, making sure not to make any noise that could wake Samantha.
“You didn’t have to come tonight,” you said quietly. “You could’ve just… stayed out of it.”
He smiled faintly, almost shyly. “I couldn’t let Samantha suffer for something she didn’t deserve. And I couldn’t let you deal with it alone.”
Your heart softened at his words, though you refused to let it show too much. “You’re… not what I expected,” you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
“Neither are you, Hermione Granger,” he teased, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.
You chuckled, shaking your head. “Oh, shut up, Edward Cullen.”
Jay laughed, the sound warm and genuine. “Touché.”
There was a brief pause, comfortable yet charged with unspoken feelings. He tilted his head slightly and gave you a crooked smile. “So… I have to ask, after tonight… are you going to keep ghosting me, or are you finally going to answer my texts?”
You let out another soft chuckle, raising an eyebrow at him. “I don’t know… texting is kind of boring. When are you going to ask me out already?”
His smirk widened, and for a moment, he looked caught off guard, but not in a bad way. “Guess I’ll have to fix that soon, huh?”
“You’d better,” you said lightly, though your heart raced at the prospect.
Jay’s eyes softened as he looked at you, his usual confidence tempered with something gentler. “I will,” he promised, his tone quiet but resolute.
Jay nodded, his playful smirk still lingering. “Well, I guess I should let you get some sleep,” he said, glancing at the door behind you.
“Yeah, it’s been… a night,” you replied, the weight of everything settling in.
He took a step back, his expression softening just slightly. “Take care of yourself,” he said, his voice quieter now.
You gave him a small nod. “I will. Thanks, Jay.”
He flashed you one last smile. “Goodnight, Hermione,” he teased, his voice low and light.
“Goodnight, Edward,” you replied, the corner of your lips lifting as you shook your head.
Jay turned and walked away, his silhouette disappearing down the quiet street. You stayed there for a moment longer, watching him leave, before turning back toward your dorm, feeling the lingering energy of the night slowly fading into the quiet.

Kai receiving a kiss on the cheek would have no freaking clue what to do with himself.
Maybe you were sitting around the Salvatore kitchen together, busy on a plan all morning, but your plan had one minor flaw, that if given the chance to surface, would ruin the entire thing. You rest your hands on your chin as you brainstorm ways around it; nothing seems good enough against your strongly skilled enemy. Your half drunk cup of coffee sits beside you, getting cold. You can still taste it on your breath, but the stimulants fail to produce any new ideas. Your posture slumps as you hit another dead end.
But before your dead end is lost for good, Kai points out a fork in the road that you can use instead. A slight altercation to the plan that puts you right where you need to be, and you gasp, you’re not sure how you missed that earlier. The siphon smiles, glad to be of use, but then is taken totally off guard when you lean forward and kiss his cheek. Your soft lips peck right below his cheekbone; he can smell the faint, sweet coffee that lingers on them. Kai freezes in shock, but he has no time to react. A small utterance of a cheery thank you is the last thing he hears before you’re out the door, off to tell Bonnie the updated plan.
As soon as the heavy wooden door shuts, Damon cracks a laugh, but covers his mouth quickly. Elena just stares, as if in equal shock as Kai is. A tingling sensation is felt throughout his body, but it’s most concentrated where your lips were. His mind feels fuzzy, but he knows he wants more. He looks down at your coffee cup, trying to keep his composure while reveling in the new feeling. A small touch of lipstick stains the edge of the mug. Right as he opens his mouth to say something, anything, Damon beats him to the punch,
“You got something, a little here.” He nods to the abandoned mug. “Might need a mirror.”

None of the Mikaelsons are good people but I like how you can see Elijah struggling to be one, because he thinks that by being the noble brother, the man of word he is, he proves that he is good when he is not. Deep down he knows this, deep down he knows that he is a monster just like his siblings, that he will never be good. Everything Elijah has craved is stability, happiness, a normal life, everything he can not have because of his family and his condition as an original (Or a vampire, for that matter). Just as Davina said, he has innocent blood in his hands, he has killed in the name of his familyand thinks somehow that makes it better. I really do think that he wants believe his ownwords, that everything he has done was for a reason bigger than himself, he has this complex behavior in which he believes himself better than his siblings but at the same time believes himself the worst of them.
Because Elijah Mikaelson wants to be a good man so badly, even when he knows he can never be.

𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐑 — rebekah mikaelson
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary — you couldn’t help but swoon over the original without her even having to compel you, instead of matt being in the lake with elena its you but with a twist.
description — poc fem!reader, tvd rebekah!au, sexual themes but no smut.
— 🩸 ◦ ✺ 🦷 ⟢ —
The first time you met Rebekah in Mystic Falls you were already so fascinated with her but with your childhood friends completely having a war with her and her siblings you kept to yourself.
Being one of two humans in the friend group you were surprised that you lived for this long especially Matt Donavan, he literally gets himself killed every other day.
You were in charge of taking Elena out of Mystic Falls, she was unconscious in your car as you began to drive over Wickery Bridge. A tall silhouette appeared in the middle of the road causing you to slam onto your brakes serving off the bridge and into the deep lake.
The water wasted no time sinking into your car, bashing your hands and elbows onto the windows at fear of you and your best friend drowning.
Panic rose into your body as you started sucking in the water that filled up your lungs, the burning sensation making you hysterical until all pain vanished and the little light around you turned black.
Your body shot up as water shot out of your lungs, you gasped breathlessly finally feeling relieved that you were able to breathe again. Another subtle gasp had caused you to snap your head to the side only to see the blonde with relief written all over her face.
“Darling, I’m so sorry. I didn’t know you were in the car or else I wouldn’t have don—“ You were quick to cut her off.
“You tried to kill me Rebekah!” Anger brewed in your voice.
“No, I tried to kill Elena but besides—“ You eyes widen as you started to become aware of your surroundings. You were in the Mikaelson’s Mansions more specifically lying in the original girls bed.
“Elena! Oh my god Elena!” Sobs started choking out of your throat thinking you had killed your best friend.
“No, love. She’s alive, don’t worry she’s alive” Rebekah’s hand rubbed your face trying to soothe you.
You looked up at her confusion plastered across your face wondering how you even ended up here rather than at the Salvatores house, her baby blue orbs sadden.
“They left you in the lake to perish Darling, I hid when Stefan left with Elena when I saw it was your car and I saved you just in time.” She explained with her voice so gentle, her soft hand still caressing your face.
“They— no, they wouldn’t just leave me to die.” Your heart sunk deep into your stomach, forcefully pushing her hand away from you. Denial kicked in realizing that your once close friends didn’t even think twice to come back and even give you a proper burial if they thought you were even dead.
“Why, why would they leave me, I have done nothing but risk my life for them—“ Your throat swelled up as your heart ached, the emotion pain started becoming physical and all you could let out were extricating sobs.
Rebekah pulled you into her lap and held you close to her chest as tears streamed down your now puffed up face. “Shh sweet girl, you’re okay, you’re safe with me.” Her soothing voice slowly calming you down, little hiccups now escaping your lips.
“Why did you save me? I thought you hated me.” Your little comment made her chuckle, she so gently lifted up your chin to have you look at her mesmerizing face.
She licked her lips staring half lidded at your lips then back to your eyes, the supposed dangerous vampire leaned down and pressed her lips against your swollen pink ones. You wrapped your arms around her neck and laid back on her mountains of pillows having her crawl on top of you, caging your body beneath near.
She pulled away having you desperately chase back for more getting a smirk as she saw her red lipstick smudged into your soft lips.
“I don’t hate you baby, I hate the people you associate yourself with.” You felt your heart beating fast just by her words alone, are you sure she didn’t compel you? No, you wore a vervain bracelet that Bonnie gifted you when all of this went down.
“I didn’t even think you would be interested in girls? Let alone me.” You gave her a sweet smile, your stomach starting to do flips with the way she looked at you like you were the most beautiful creature she’s ever laid her eyes on.

IF I DIE YOUNG
PT. 1
PT.2?
PAIRINGS: Klaus Mikaelson x Werewolf! OC
WARNINGS: toxic family, insinuation of accidental murder, lowkey angsty and emotional, Klaus thinks he’s an arsonist, fire, people dying, mentions of blood, Klaus is sweet with manipulative undertones, toxic!Klaus
NSFW WARNINGS: none yet! I promise there will be next time :)
Her village rested by the shore. Her toes dug into the white sand as the water grazed her bare ankles, and the fog was heavy. The air around her murky and dark.
The smell of salt lingered in the air, grounding her as the busy sound of her people echoed behind her in chorus to a familiar song they sang every full moon.
The night was cold, as it always was when you lived by the ocean. Elora felt hushed whispers from behind her, and a constant stare from her peers. As if she were an oddity.
Everyone kept their distance, as if she were a ticking time bomb ready to blow up the whole village if something rubbed her the wrong way. And that might have been the case, but it was not Eloras fault she was cursed with such wickedness.
The full moon was not yet at its apex as she stood up from the sand. She dusted off the sand that remained on her long skirt, and made her way through the familiar forest. It was soothing, in a way. Hearing the leaves crunch under her bare feet, and the crickets that seemed to welcome her.
The wind was violent this night, almost as if it were angry at her for being what she is. Elora was angry at herself, too. All she felt was shame, and regret. Ashamed of what she was and regret for what she was about to become.
she was 19 years young, standing at 5’2 without socks on. She has been this way since she was 14, and she has been miserable ever since. It was an accident, what she did to that boy, but she paid the price for it—and she will for the rest of her life.
Her black hair cascaded down her back in a ruffled braid that stopped just at her waist, and the skirt she wore was littered in Lapis Lazuli that shined under the moonlight. The same skirt she wore every full moon, as she thought it was a token of good luck.
The same familiar cave seemed to stare back at her the closer she got to it. The rocks were an unwelcoming cold that she had grown used to and acquainted with over time. The breeze bounced off of the walls, creating almost an eerie sound.
Her fingers grazed along the caves walls, tracing over the stories her people have painted of her. Living amongst people who were afraid of what you were takes a toll on a person. The only reason the village people have yet to banish her was because they were afraid of further upsetting the balance.
Elora was an abomination. A mistake in natures balance. She was a monster, and that’s all anyone ever saw—even her own parents. Her siblings were no better, the only ones bold enough to taunt her.
Elora felt her body begin to shake as she chained herself. Her ankles and wrists felt even more so heavy with the weight of chains that held her down effectively. They were made of the finest metals, scavenged from high and low, made specially for her.
It was a routine Elora knew well. Her body consumed with and unbearable pain that became easier over time. The feeling she feared she would never get used to is the way her bones broke and bended ways that they shouldn’t. Ways that would kill a regular human with no remorse.
She writhed in agony, screaming in pain as her ribs broke again and again—like a punishment for her sins. Tears ran down her cheeks, and the sharp canines that grew hurt her gums in an unfathomable way. Her eyes glowed a horrifying yellow that would surely scare any suitor away instantly.
She came to terms that she was unlovable. She would never find anyone in their right mind who would want such a monstrosity such as herself. It was a sick pit in the bottom of her stomach she felt watching families stroll by her happily. She would forever yearn. Eternally yearn.
She rocked herself back and forth as her body felt as though it was on fire, in attempts to soothe what was left of her humanity. But she could not stop her inner wars with herself that clawed to come out, and be free once more.
She tugged at the chains, and begged someone, anyone, to stop the pain she was going through. Aimlessly calling out for her mothers comfort as if she could hear her. A damaged child, longing for comfort was all she really was if you peeled back enough layers.
The transition was made, after an hour of torment. Eloras first time took at least 3 or 4. The more you transition, the less time it takes every time. That’s the only thing Elora is grateful for.
Her senses were heightened, and she panted—her stomach turned as if she hadn’t eaten for days. Weeks. Months. Years—god, she was so unbelievably hungry.
Her ears perked as she heard leaves crunch, and for a moment, Elora hoped it was a curious human that dared to witness her monstrous form. And it was—or so she thought.
A man, standing at 5’11 entered the cave as if he owned it. Elora wondered where he got the balls from. She growled, she smelled blood—but it was different. He wasn’t a human, she could tell that much. She had no idea what he was, but she knew he wasn’t anything good.
“What a pity. Living your sad life chained and hated.” He said, his voice echoing through the cave menacingly. His blonde hair was cut short, and seemed disheveled with curls. Elora could not respond, she could not find her humanity to even care in this moment.
“Don’t you wish to be ridden of this burden, little wolf?” He asked, crouching down to her level. He seemed to not be phased in the slightest for her distaste to him, nor was he scared.
Eloras wolfed body was rigid and on edge, crouched and ready to pounce at any second with enough force to break the chains—but it was as though something was stopping her. Maybe it was her own subconscious fear, or maybe it was his alluring presence she hated so much.
“You are a naivety in its entirety, but a beauty nonetheless, Elora.” He whispered, as though someone could overhear them. The girl felt her heart beat somehow quicken, and a warmth spread through her body. She was no longer growling, or ready to pounce—but still on edge.
“If you seek a remedy, you will find me east of here tomorrow.” He said, resting a hand on her head. A bold move on his part, but one that Elora allowed—even in her darkest form. He stood to his full height, and without a second thought, was gone as fast as he came.
She hadn’t a clue who he was, or what he was, but he did what he came here to do. For she longed to know more, just as he had wanted. The man knew she would seek him out the following day, and he would be awaiting her arrival till then.
That morning, Elora awoke—sore, and exhausted. She stood on shaken legs, naked and afraid. The sun shone perfectly into the cave, nearly blinding her as she used her hand as a shield—adjusting to the lighting.
She scavenged for her skirt and corset top that she discarded before her transition, and sighed as she put them back on. She could not live like this forever. She refused. There had to be another way—and maybe he was the way she was looking for.
The journey back to her village was a blur as she stumbled through the brush absentmindedly. She was the shell of the girl she was once. The girl she couldn’t seem to shake. The girl that was dead, who’s body she carried around with her since she couldn’t get rid of it.
Her people did not look her in the eye. They shut their doors in her face, and ushered their children away as if she were a plague. Eloras eyes watered, as they usually do every return to her home after a full moon. A reminder that she was, in fact, unwanted.
She sluggishly made her way through the village, eyes set onto the dirt paved path ahead of her to avoid the judgment of people that passed by till she reached her cottage.
Elora opened the door, expecting her family to be awake. She expected the smell of eggs to warm her nose, and the sound of her siblings laughter to fill her ears—but she didn’t. She heard nothing.
She walked through her empty home looking for any traces to where they were—and then it dawned on her.
They had left her.
She fell to her knees in despair, and a gut wrenching sob shook through her. She could not bear this pain any longer. Her whole life was filled with sorrow, anger, and yearning. She screamed, and screamed until she could no longer scream.
Elora tore her house apart—frames shattered with pictures torn apart, glass everywhere and book shelves knocked down. It was a waste of time, she knew taking her anger out like this would benefit nobody—but she had no other way to get it out.
She stalked through the town once more when night had fallen, consumed with nothing but a burning anger coming from deep within her core. A gruesome hatred for the village, and everyone in it.
She didn’t spare it a final glance as she set on her journey to meet the man on the east side of the cave. The man who she hoped would provide her with answers and maybe even a way to stop the monster inside of her from being revealed.
It felt different, this night. It was silent, no crickets to welcome her this time or angry wind howling at her as she trudged through the forgotten pathways of the forest. She had no fear, only a sense of yearning remained.
He sat on top of a large rock as though it were his throne, in all his glory. He peered down at her for a moment before he jumped down expertly, keeping a distance between them as to not shake her.
Eloras voice was caught in her throat. He was so much more beautiful than she had remembered in her wolfish haze. She felt like he was picking her apart from head to toe as his eyes burned holes through her delicate body, but she was at a loss for words.
“My darling, Elora. I’m happy you came to me.” He said with a smile. His voice sounded like velvet, and she knew she could listen to him for an eternity. “W-Who are you?” She finally said, after a moment of silence.
“My name is Klaus. I am, like you, a force against nature.” He responded, circling around her as though he were judging her. Eloras eyes widened—“Youu’re like me? You’re a wolf?” She asked.
Never in her lifetime had she met anyone else like her. She didn’t even know there was others like her. Her mortal life, she’d heard tales of men who shaped into wolves, but they were just campfire tales to spook the children. Elora was told they had all died off, and she was the last.
“Yes, I am. But I am also more than that.” He said with a nod. Elora furrowed her brows in confusion. “What do you mean? What more could you possibly be?” She asked, backing away from him as he got closer.
“I am a vampire, Elora. I am a hybrid. The only hybrid in existence.” He said. Klaus paused for a moment, seemingly thinking about something before he outstretched his hand towards her. “Come, we will return to your village and I will explain more.”
Elora shook her head. “I don’t want to ever go back there. That is no longer my home. They were never my people.” She responded bitterly. His eyes softened for a moment, and for a second, he could see himself in her. “Come. I will fix that.” He responded.
She looked at the hand he offered to her, and debated if this was all an elaborate plan for him to kill her. But the more she looked into his eyes, the deeper she fell—and she knew there was no return from their meeting. So, she took his hand, and he led her back to where she never truly left.
They stopped at the edge of her village. There was no light, no sound. The people were asleep, carefree and happy to be ridden of her.
“These people have hurt you, Elora, haven’t they?” He asked, though he already knew the answer very well. “Yes.” She said. Her eyes watered, and she had regret coming back instantly—but his hand never left hers.
As the tears fell down her cheeks, his grip on her hand tightened, almost as if he were trying to comfort her. “What if I told you I can make them pay for what they did to you?” He asked. Elora sniffled as she wiped away her tears with her free hand.
“What do you mean, Klaus?” She asked. He let go of her hand, and revealed a singular match that was hidden in his pocket. Eloras eyes widened, and before she could protest, the match was lit and her village was set ablaze in the blink of an eye.
“Klaus, there’s children!” She shrieked, attempting to run towards the burning village, only to be blocked by the powerful man. “Fret not, love, they’re taken care of. Safe and sound, I swear to it.” He said with a smile.
Eloras chest rose and fell as she heard screams of fear strike through the village, watching as a man she once knew ran out of his home, on fire. A tear fell down her cheek at the mayhem in front of her—but all Klaus could do was watch, almost as if he were admiring his work.
“H-How could you have done this?” Elora yelled through tears, turning to look at him. Her eyes he knew once were filled with hope were now filled with an unreadable emotion. Elora had no time to react before he was in front of her—their face mere inches apart.
His hands reached up, cupping her face delicately—almost as if he were afraid he’d break her. “Don’t you see, Elora? These people never cared about you. They wanted you to feel this hurt that burns inside of you. They treated you as if you were nothing. Do not feel remorse, for these people deserve to die.” He said, wiping away her fallen tears.
“Who are you?” She asked. For a moment, she forgot the world around her. She forgot what she was. She forgot the dying people behind her and the smoke that filled her lungs. She was lost in him, and that was how it started.

Day Twenty-Four: Klaus Mikealson + Toys
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It had started as a gag gift and then turned into something more private and serious. Though you aren't really sure if Klaus knows what a gag gift is.
You had both gone out, grabbing gag gifts of your own for each other. You grabbed the best of the best. Fart spray. Klaus on the other hand grabbed something rather sesitive, and private.
The night before you were supposed to leave for a family vacation with the Mikealson family. You set your trap, Klaus taking a shower and this time you had opted to not take one alongside him. Klaus was already suspicious of your option not to shower with him.
You set everything up. The sound of the water turning off lets you know that you have to get into postion. Just before Klaus walks out of the bathroom. You spritz a few pumps out of the bottle. You run back to the bed. Getting under the blanket and willing your heart to slow down.
"Love…" Klaus stops mid sentence, disgusts worps his beautiful face. "What the hell is that smell?" He asks, you look over him. Your phone in hand. "What are you talking about baby?" You ask with faux concern. He can't tell if you're lying to him, but he takes what you give him for a real answer.
You lay there as Klaus tries his hardest to get awya from the disgusting smell. Getting dressed in a low pair of sweatpants, and climbs into bed with you. The silence is comforting, and just as you get into your sleep. The warm hands of klaus land on your hips and drag you into him.
"Good night sweetheart." he whispers into your ear, and kisses you right under your ear. "Also I'm fully willing to get you back for earlier." He says in a husky voice. You shiver at the antipication, and his words.
The next morning you take a long and needed shower. From outside the door Klaus shouts that he'll get your outfit together. You don't mind the action, it makes you flaot whenever you walk out and there lays our outfit. When you do manage to get out of the steamy bathroom. Your clothes lay out on the beds edge. Panties and all.
You get dressed, and without even thinking about you gather yourself up, and get into the car. Klaus had already packed your bags alongside his own. You got into the passengar seat, and waited for him.
The car ride was filled with is favorite music, and then the sudden feeling between your legs gave you a shiver. Stopping you in what you were doing. The book flopping down to your lap. "What's wrong baby?" That tone, the mimick of his voice. "Oh fuck- nothing is wrong. Just this, um this book." You pratically moan out, the buzzing in your panties.
Suddenly clicks in your head, "Is this-" you shifgt and the buzz sensation goes straight to your clit and you can't manage to get words or thoughts out. "Are you… Is this your gag fuckin' gift?' You finally ask, as the buzzing calms down. Klaus smirks that devilish smirk.
The buzzing stops suddenly, and then you're back to reading your book. Distracted by the words, and the chacters stories. It's not till hours later when you're eating dinner with Klaus sister on each side of you. Your talking with Freya about a girl nights that you're just dying to go on, but then the damn smirk comes back on Klaus face as he listens to his brother elijah moan on and on about something so unimportant he's just staring at you.
The buzzing starts up again. Low at first, and then you can't ignore the feeling inbetween your legs. You can feel your face go red like the apples in the trees behind you.
"Are you okay Y/n?" Freya asks, "Hm," You half moan and hum. "just a little hot out here." Your voice breaks. "Oh, yeah I do have to agree it's a little hot out here. Don't know why we had to eat out here?" Freya says dramtically while turning to look at her two brothers.
The buzzing doens't stop, not even has your grip on the silverware turns white, and your thighs squeeze tightly to stop the buzzing. "Klaus can you.… um… pass the um the salad." You moan out, and you drop the silverware and reach out for the bowl.
"Of course baby." Klaus voice is once again husky, as he passes the bowl the buzzing increases, and you almost drop the bowl. "Maybe you should go take a rest Y/n." Rebekah says looking athe situation unfold. "Go take your girlfriend inside in the cool air Niklaus." She says strongly.
"Come on sweetheart, let's go inside." Klaus says getting up from his seat, and going towards you. You stay still in your postion, and then latch onto his bicep. He's holding you up.
When you both reach the front french doors. You both stop for Klaus to open the door. As the two of you walk in Klaus whispers in your ear. "You feelin' good baby?" You moan asthe feeling hadn't gone away. Your high is so close then the feeling stops between your thighs. "Klaus!" You moan, "Don't worry baby, I'll let you cum tonight."

Klaus had noticed your arrival in New Orleans straight away, after all, it was his city, and he was the King of it, or so he liked to think.
Something about your piercing eyes which were always filled with curiosity and wonder as you wandered the city full of supernaturals, had caught his attention.
The city could get windy at times and he loved watching as you made your way through the French Quarter, your shiny locks swinging in the wind.
Klaus had thought he had been very stealthy, however, he was not.
You’d always find him not too far from you, lurking in the shadows, it really should’ve creeped you out that some hybrid had been following you albeit it was the opposite.
You found it comforting in a way, knowing someone was always looking out for you.
Elijah, knew you were Klaus's current infatuation, so after a few months of suffering and having to watch Niklaus practically stalk you, he had decided he would introduce himself to you, seeing as he’d seen you around as well.
You thought it was by chance that you’d run into the Elijah Mikaelson, however, it was not. Elijah had figured out your routine and purposely ran into you on your daily stop at the cafe you had been working at.
Elijah hurriedly walked into the cafe after you had been in there for 10 minutes, as he had seen you talking to your coworkers. You had accidentally spilled your coffee all over his crisp suit, your face besmirched with nothing other than horror.
Your mouth had been agape, before you had finally shaken out of your daze, “Oh my god, I am so sorry! I swear you came out of nowhere, here, let me help you.” You quickly rambled.
“Don’t worry about it, I didn’t much care for this suit anyways,” He assured you, as you frantically patted napkins against the material of the suit in an attempt to dry it.
He placed his hand against yours to stop you, “It’s quite alright…” He said, waiting for you to fill in your name for him.
“Y/n, you’re the infamous Elijah Mikaelson,” You responded.
“Indeed, I am, Y/n.” He said, a charming smile on his face.
“You Mikaelsons are awfully famous around here… huh,”
“Yes, our family has some history in New Orleans, we practically built the city,”
“Wow, here, let me buy you a coffee or something to make up for your destroyed suit, although I’m sure it costs much more than a 5-dollar coffee,” You laughed.
“Well, I’ll gladly take the coffee,”
The both of you had settled into a conversation, as you strolled about the Quarter.
Elijah had been telling you all about the supernatural history of New Orleans, seeing as you had told him you knew about vampires, wolves, and witches, including how you knew he and his family were the Originals.
You had gestured to your vervain ring, as you had explained your numerous encounters with various supernatural beings.
You had even gotten talking about hobbies, and how you quite enjoyed writing, which had prompted a proposal from Elijiah, “It’s quite interesting that you mention that, my brother Niklaus is in desperate need of an editor or typist, he’s got a few things in the works, I’m sure he’d love your assistance.”
“Oh, I’m not sure I’d be much help,”
“I assure you he’d deeply appreciate it, and I’m sure you’re quite the novelist yourself,” He sang your praises, and you gave in.
When you first met Niklaus he tried to keep his guard up around you, trying to come off as intimidating, however, his plan had backfired.
“Y’know sometimes when I walk through the quarter, for some reason, I just feel eyes on me, like someone’s watching me, hiding in the shadows. Do you ever feel like that?” You’d told the hybrid.
His face slightly twitched before he quickly hid it with a smirk on his full lips, “Love, I’m Niklaus Mikaelson, I’ve always got eyes on me, I have an exponential amount of enemies that’d love to get me when I’m vulnerable.”
The more time the two of you spent together, the more you somehow broke down the hybrid’s concrete walls.
Niklaus may have been stubborn, but so were you.
“Niklaus, you’re writing is exceptional, you don’t need my help, so why do you insist that I help you edit your work?”
“Love, my writing is exceptional because you edit it.”
“Nonsense. You know, with the amount of time we spend together, you’d think I’d know more about you, I mean I feel like you practically know everything about me…”
Eventually, Niklaus opened up to you about everything, from the years of abuse he suffered at the hand of his father, to his deep fear of abandonment, how he’d always felt odd due to being a “bastard” child.
You knew Nik had flaws, however there was something about him that pulled you in, maybe it was his dedication to his family and their long promise of always and forever.
It was something you wish your family had, that kind of closeness, that no matter what they did, you’d always go back to each other, however, your family was far from that.
From his insistent paranoia to his anger issues, you’d still fallen for him.
Secretly he felt the same, your outer and inner beauty, kindness, and caring personality had made him wrapped around your finger.
He desperately tried to hide it but failed.
Whenever you’d leave, he’d insist on taking you home, to ensure you’d made it safely, as well as insisting you texted him when you were safely inside your apartment.
Eventually, it came to the point where you’d see each other every day, Niklaus often stopping by your work for a cup of his usual coffee. It had gotten to the point where your coworkers had thought he was your boyfriend, which you’d always deny.
However, there was a twinge in your heart that deeply wanted a relationship with the infamous hybrid.
Everyone could see that you both were head over heels in love with each other but the two of you, whenever anyone said anything you both denied what was right in front of you.
“You’ve truly lost your mind, Rebekah, there’s no way she feels any sort of way for me. She’s too kind. Too pure.”
“Yeah right, like Klaus Mikaelson has feelings for me!” You had laughed.
What finally changed the dynamic of your relationship was when you had been kidnapped by one of Klaus’s enemies.
You had been held hostage and tortured for days, before Klaus finally found you in the abandoned warehouse.
He had torn up the city looking for you, whilst threatening witches to do locator spells for him.
When he came to rescue you, you watched as he murdered your captors in cold blood.
He freed you from the ropes which held you, blood besmirching his face and clothes, as his eyes that glowed yellow returned to their usual blue color.
He pulled you into a tight embrace, clinging to you as he muttered various apologies, from being sorry for getting you kidnapped to having to see him end your captor's lives.
You simply gave him a weak smile, hands on his face, you wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth before smashing your lips against his.
He returned the kiss with fervor, before pulling away.
He opened his eyes, “We shouldn’t start this, Y/n, I don’t want to endanger you any more than I already have.”
After that Niklaus had kept his distance from you, however, returned to keeping an eye on you from the shadows.
You had had enough.
You had stormed into the compound yelling and demanding Klaus to come out. Once you had you’d told him off about how he had no right to decide what was best for you, seeing as you were a grown woman who could make her own decisions.
“Who are you to decide what’s best for me Klaus?! I am in love with you and I don’t care if that put’s me in danger!”
It felt like hours had passed as you and Niklaus shouted back and forth, voices echoing throughout the compound for Rebekah and Elijah to hear.
Somehow Klaus had come to the realization that you were more stubborn than him. He murmured a “Bloody hell,” before he shut you up with a kiss.
From then on, you and Klaus had begun dating.
You and Klaus were inseparable.
He always wanted to be near you, in order to protect you, and if he couldn’t he’d order Elijah, Rebekah, Marcel, or someone to guard you when he couldn’t.
He’d constantly surprise you with random gifts such as flowers, “Just because,”.
Klaus would always spoil you, and always insist that he pay for everything, “Love, you’re a queen, and deserve to be treated like it.”
Taking you on random dates, spontaneous trips.
Not long after you began dating, you’d moved into the compound, Klaus no longer wanting you to be living in your apartment by yourself.
Depending on your hair type: Nik would learn how to braid, after you’d complain about your arms aching after having finished doing your own box braids or cornrows /// having to braid your hair before you sleep so you wouldn’t get split ends or tangles in the morning.
He’d always deny it but he secretly loved cuddling, especially when he was the small spoon.
Constantly having to be touching you, whether it be an arm around your waist, his palm against your thigh, holding hands.
Learning to cook your favorite meal.
Waking up each morning to your favorite morning drink on your bedside table.
Catching him watching you as you applied your makeup, “I can’t help it, love, it’s not my fault you’re so gorgeous.”
Always wanting your attention, “Love, are you listening to me?”
“Of course, I am, lovey.”
Needing to have one of your AirPods in, so he could listen to your music as well.
Countless nights where the both of you would just stay up talking about anything and everything.
If you wear glasses/contacts, he’d love when you wore your glasses over your contacts.
Whenever you would do some self-care such as face masks, he’d always want to participate as well, “Darling, just because I’m an immortal hybrid doesn’t mean that I don’t need to take care of my skin, I mean this isn’t just immortality, it’s SPF as well.”
Whenever he was stressed he’d love it when you’d play with his hair, it always soothed him and melted his stress.
When he’s upset he’d take some time to himself not wanting to lash out at you.
You and Rebekah were the best of friends and loved teasing Klaus together.
You’d eventually learn that Elijah had set you up, because Klaus had never really been looking for an editor or typist.
“Elijah! I can’t believe this,” You laughed.
Whenever Nik would wake up from a nightmare, you’d be right there for him, placing soothing kisses on his shoulder to comfort him.
You would be the first to say the L word, it had been after you and Nik had been dating for almost a year.
You always knew you had strong feelings for Nik, however, they were really brought to light when you’d gotten extremely sick, and Nik spent every day at your bedside taking care of you.
You had been slightly delirious but you meant every word.
Nik had been laying next to you, the both of you facing each other after he had just made you your favorite soup.
Your hand reached for his own, clasping it. His blue eyes met your own, “I love you, Niklaus Mikaelson.”
It had left him slightly shocked, his mouth slightly agape, before a large dimpled grin spread across his face, “I love you too, Y/n Y/l/n.”
You both loved each other immensely and would do anything for each other.

"Josie," Hope says, tapping her foot impatiently against the siphon's leg. She's unconscious, so it's not like it'll do anything, but Hope is easily annoyed in this state and wants her to wake up already.
She heard from Kol once that having your humanity off was a blast to some vampires, but for her it felt like she was always irritable. But maybe if people made any semblance of an effort to be less disappointing, she wouldn’t have to be so irritated so often.
Josie had said she would let Hope feed on her as long as she didn't kill any more of the locals, but now she's already passed out after hardly even a sip from the tribrid.
Her body is heavy and warm in Hope's arms and the tribrid’s heightened senses tell her the girl’s heart is still beating and her blood still flowing. She hadn’t drained her completely, she’d just gotten a little carried away because, well… Josie tastes good.
Way better than anyone she had fed on in the past week in her travels. It’s another reason why she wants Josie to wake up– it’s not like she cares about her, or anything.
“Jo,” she says again, giving her an insistent shake. “I’m still hungry. If you don’t wake up in five, someone’s getting turned into my personal juice box.” Even despite her ravenous hunger, the words come out sounding bored, as if she barely even cares about that.
It’s snarky, but she doesn’t expect it to actually work. Josie stirs in her arms, her bleary brown eyes cracking open. “W-What happened?” she mumbles, looking disoriented. It would almost be cute, if Hope still had the humanity to think so. Besides, it’s just an objective fact that Josie is cute. It’s not like it means anything if Hope notices. “Wait…”
Her voice sounds almost sleepy, despite the fact she’d been passed out and not from a nap. But Hope can feel the vampiric veins blossoming beneath her eyes, glancing down at the blood still smeared on Josie’s neck from where she was feeding earlier. She wants more.
“Did I faint?” Josie asks groggily, struggling against Hope’s body as she rights herself, standing on her own two feet. Hope doesn’t let go of her, arms still wrapped around her shoulders and middle to support her as she tries to gain her balance. Her fangs are sharpening in her mouth as she stares at the small trickle of blood on Josie’s neck.
“You fainted,” Hope agrees, deadpan. “Pretty melodramatic, if you ask me. You could’ve just tried flirting, if you wanted me to hold you.” The words are teasing and bold and the part of her that’s locked away, deep beneath it all, wonders faintly if she ever would’ve had the courage to say this to Josie with her humanity. Maybe she would have, in a different life.
But her words have a surprising effect on the siphon, who blushes profusely as her hand comes up to press against her bloody neck. Deep brown eyes meet Hope’s sharp blue ones, looking uncertain and shining with emotion that the tribrid can’t even begin to pinpoint. “You know it wouldn’t be right if I did that…” she says uneasily, glancing away. Hope can tell she’s recalling their past together; their shared history. Hope knows intimately what it was like for Josie to lose control to the darkness. The problem is that all of the emotion she felt about that situation– and about Josie, too– is locked away behind impenetrable glass in her mind. All she feels now is numbness. Anger. Hunger.
“We had a deal,” Hope reminds her callously, stepping towards her, arms encircling her waist possessively, almost to encourage Josie to lean into her.
She doesn’t fight it. Josie, cheeks burning, leans her head to the side to reveal her neck once more. “Just go easy this time… I accidentally siphoned you while you were drinking too fast and it went to my head.”
Hope is sure that she would feel flattered by how far Josie is going for her right now, if she could feel. The ghost of emotion passes by, not stirring anything meaningful in her. She brushes Josie’s hair out of the way with slender fingers, leaning down to sink her fangs into the siphon’s soft flesh.

Part of the Action
poly!mikaelsons x human!reader
summary: you're about to be left out of yet another mikaelson plan, when an accidental mix-up happens that might convince them to let you help them. OR, you prove that you've got a lot more fire than the mikaelsons give you credit for.

You lay across the couch as Klaus goes over his plan for the third time. Your legs are in Kol’s lap, while your head is in Rebekah’s. As he strokes his finger along your thigh, she’s playing with your hair, and none of you are paying much attention to the hybrid. Elijah’s trying his best to listen to his brother, but he’s consumed by a jealousy of not being able to touch you while his siblings do that makes him deaf to the plan.
“So I’ll need one of you to distract Damon, another to distract Stefan, and-” Klaus pauses, “are any of you idiots listening to me?”
Four pairs of eyes immediately snap up to him.
“Could you stop petting the girl for one minute so you can tune into my plan for world domination?”
“She’s just so soft, Niklaus,” Rebekah whines, digging her hands into your scalp sweetly.
“Yes, I know, but this is important.”
“So is taking time to relax and love on our little girl.”
He sighs, then looks at you expectantly. You’re only able to fight his gaze for a minute before surrendering. Both Kol and Bekah argue as you move to be sitting in between them, not touching either of them.
“Thank you, love. Now, this is the plan. One of you distracts Damon, another distracts Stefan. I grab Elena. Y/N, you stay here, because you are not getting caught in any crossfire-”
“Why do you never let me help?”
“Pardon?”
“Why do I always have to sit out when you guys are acting out on plans? I can help. I want to help.”
“We will not risk you getting hurt, baby. It is imperative that you stay here where you’re safe,” Elijah speaks for them all.
“If I get hurt, you can just heal me! I want to help!”
“No, Y/N. That is an order. You stay here.”
“I can’t be here all the time while you’re always fighting. What if you get hurt?”
“We will heal.”
“Well you can heal me.”
“Love, it’s a no. Now stop fighting the matter before it results in punishment.”
You glare at the two eldest brothers, but then drop your gaze and pout.
Kol immediately leans over to whisper, “we love you too much for you to get hurt, darling. Yes, we can heal you, but there’s still so much risk.”
“Fine,” you mutter. “I’ll stay back. Again.”
He smiles, then kisses your cheek.
Klaus continues plotting. “I’ll only need Elena for a second, so you all only need to distract them for a little bit. Just long enough for me to make my point.”
You zone out while he talks, knowing there’s no use in listening anyway since you’re on the outs. At some point, Elijah sets his wine glass on the coffee table to stand up to talk to Klaus. Your eyes focus on it. I’m in desperate need of some wine to deal with this shit again, you think, ‘Lijah won’t mind if I steal a sip.
In one quick motion, you reach for the glass and bring it to your lips.
He spins around at the sound of movement, eyes immediately going wide. “Baby, that’s not wine. Put it-”
Too late. You take a big sip of the liquid. It’s already in your mouth by the time you realize it’s blood. It shocks you for a second; Elijah’s not usually one to drink blood from wine glasses - that’s usually Kol. But as it sits in your mouth, you find yourself enjoying the taste. It’s thick, oozy, and something about it makes you feel powerful. Like what once was someone’s life force is now being consumed by you.
In one gulp, you swallow it. It’s heavy down your throat and bubbles in your stomach. The taste lingers on your lips, stained red from its color.
You set the glass down and lie back on the couch, but not without swiping your tongue across your lips first. “What?” You question the four siblings staring at you. They’re all speechless, yet the longer you look, the more you recognize the love and lust in their eyes.
Klaus is the first to break the silence. “Well, judging by that, maybe our beautiful and bloodthirsty girl is ready to be a part of the action.”
