Hiii!! I recently saw your post about how german people think and tbh, I have been learning German for about 3 years now and I still have to make a very conscious decision to place the verb am ende, or in the second position and I don't know if that ever goes away. That's the beauty of learning languages i guess.

I wanted to ask you if you have any fic recs, or german tv show recs, I need a german thing to hyperfixate on, lmao.

Now, about German tv shows... If you look at my blog, you'll find posts about my recent discoveries: Tatort Saarbrücken, Polizeiruf (Vincent Ross' cases) and the last couple of seasons of SOKO Leipzig.

Yes, they are cop shows. But! The two male leads and the two female leads in Tatort Saarbrücken are highly shippable, and there's a ton of fic! Lots of AUs, too, if crime series are not your thing. The same goes for Polizeiruf: Vincent Ross is a genderqueer police detective and it's gotten a lot of attention from fic authors :)

Last but not least, my beautiful beloved, Moritz Brenner, Leipzig police detective and queer extraordinaire... Unfortunately, he mostly shows up in fic as secondary character in cross-overs with Tatort Saarbrücken and Polizeiruf. But those fics are amazing.

P.S. If you prefer teen drama, there's the German version of SKAM: it's called "Druck" and you can find it on youtube (and many fics on AO3).

But at the same time, he is fiercely protective of her in the sense that he gets set off by even the thought of her in danger. He will go to any lengths to ensure her safety, to ensure that he is by her side through it all. If keeping her safe means risking his own life, he doesn’t give it a second thought. His loyalty never wavers and he makes sure she knows it too.

Por Ahora it's web series about a couple of 30 something years old argentinian bastards that are navigating adult life and kinda suck at it. Very funny. It's a dark comedy, kinda bizarre at times.
