Ok but God having a lightbulb for head making it easy to break whenever someone's had enough of "his" bullshit but the back of his throne being full of new fresh lightbulbs, leaving it to the people/creatures, even the ones that broke him in the first place, to replace it if they find the mercy and humility in their hearts to do so has to be one of the hardest and most creative metaphors for hope Ive seen in a Groening show

Completely agree with this. Even the side characters are hilarious. Turbish, Mertz, Merkimmer, Laughing Horse and so on

Just finished the last season of Disenchantment and it's sad that because it's not strictly a comedy series, it doesn't get as much attention as the Simpsons or Futurama does. It's funny in it's own way and the characters and story is entertaining. I like how the characters change over the course of the show without being reset at the end of the season like a lot of shows, Bean especially goes from hating her dad and step-mom to accepting them and they her (Plus Bean's romance with a mermaid was cute too). Luci is always funny (being voiced by Eric Andre will do that) and he goes from just doing his demonic duty of torturing Bean to caring about her that he gave up everything so she can be happy. Elfo had a Boyle's (B99) arc which was very much thankful for and so this is one of the few shows where the main boy/girl characters don't get together and yet they're still good friends who'd do anything for each other.

I very much recommend it if ur looking for a silly fantasy adventure about a buck-toothed princess, her personal demon and an elf who despite everything is a good friend.
