People need to be careful
In allowing movies to dictate their understanding on history.
Historical dramas or period pieces are not 100% accurate.
There is ALOT of liberties form fashion, events and personalities that are fabricated or exaggerated.
Not ALL but unless you do your historical research, you won’t understand what is being changed and what’s true.

they officially cancelled My Lady Jane after only one season because it apparently “didn’t find a broad enough audience”. i’m disappointed but not surprised, unfortunately it’s just one more name in the very long list of too-soon cancelled shows with incredible potential.

Screaming crying throwing up once again bc a costume I called ugly and ridiculous actually has basis in historical accuracy.
Here is what The Spanish Princess put Catherine in for Arthur's funeral:
F in the chat for the costumers, right? But I was looking at medieval manuscripts today (a perfectly normal and healthy activity) and it struck me:
That's Margaret of Anjou about twenty years earlier, but I'll guess widow's garb didn't change all that much in that time.
It's still ugly.

Did you watch The Laughing Cavalier video called Tudor Rant Part 4 on YouTube? He reviews Tudor historical dramas. What do you think of his reviews?
Well, I don’t watch many things related tu the Tudors, I am more into the Yorks, but sure I can try :)
