“Strange to see a fresh face around here.”

The Viera shrugged, his jaw clenched so tightly that it looked as if his teeth might shatter from the pressure. He was a newcomer to these parts, that much was clear. But despite the fresh face he presented to the Bozjan Resistance, there was aught about him that suggested a hidden history of shame and defeat. As the other spoke, he crossed his arms in front of his chest, as if trying to shield himself from potential scrutiny. His posture was tense, rigid, as if every muscle in his body was coiled tight and ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.

But despite his obvious discomfort, he tried to maintain a calm demeanor. He knew that any sign of weakness or vulnerability could be used against him, and so he gritted his teeth together and forced himself to stand tall and proud, even as his heart pounded in his chest. In the end, all he could do was wave his hand in dismissal, as if to say that their suspicions were unfounded and that he had been here all along. But even as he spoke the words, what was there to believe? He didn't come out of thin air, that's for certain. For he had been here, yes, but only against his will, a prisoner in his own body and soul.

"Have to get a leash, first." it's immediately too blunt, but she allows her regular pin-straight posture to relax, leaning herself on her left leg before she even deigns to kneel and retie the laces on her boot. Her tone borders on insolence, but the fact that she manages to relax at all seems to suggest otherwise.

She glances at him, though her eyes are half-lidded and almost comfortable. Almost. "One hell of a strong one, too. Did you know I bit the Turk who recruited me?" There's a smile in her voice, though her face doesn't match. It hardly ever matches her words. If they were somewhere else, far from cameras and surveillance, maybe it would.

But not here.

It was years since her recruitment, and the woman who bit the Turk wasn't similar to the woman fixing her boot. She existed somewhere between her laces, and evaporated the second she stood back at attention.

"We should start preparing now, right? Drills are over?" she asks, the warmth in her voice retreating somewhere within, where she knew it was safe.

"Maybe on the way back, we should find a leash."

Despite the dangers of the forest, you feel at ease here. Focused. So much so that your determination can edge on obsession as you search for the heir and secretly your missing partner. The surety of your loyalty rivals the constancy of death and taxes.

Once you reach the forest’s end, you’re reunited with your partner who joined forces with the leaders of the Banished Kingdom. You provide insider knowledge along with the Goblins on the palace and help lead the charge with the Elves and Dwarves to topple the rotten empire. Afterwards, you and your partner dedicate your lives to maintaining the forest with the Giants by preserving and protecting all the flora and fauna that live there. Because you know that no life should be permanent, but that doesn’t mean you can’t protect it.

I love anime like Amaama to Inazuma and Maiko-san chi no Makanai-san 🥰 Not because I like cooking or want to learn new recipes, it's because they are so relaxing to watch... my heart heals with every episode 😊 I wish they made more anime like this 💗

shrek. on a more serious note though, just pure ignorance, people who have to thieve shit off others, f.fxiv fandom on t.witter. but i really do hate shrek with all my soul.

drawing. i don't really do that many creative things besides that, & drawing actually kind of comes before writing for me.

💯 — share three random facts about yourself that your mutuals may not know about you.

i have heterochromia in my eyes, one's green, & other's grey, but there's like amber mixed in them as well.

i have a very high pain tolerance, so i'm able to have tattoo sessions that go upwards to 8 hours or so, & be able to tank them. i had my full chest tattooed, & everyone, including the tattooist warned me that it's an extremely painful area to get done ... meanwhile me ; this shit is easy. lol my tattooist friend just given up with me at that point of trying to figure out what area i will actually suffer from, but i would say my elbow ditch was definitely a painful spot ... the first time i got it done anyway, when i came back, semi-prepared knowing it was painful the first time ... it ended up not being all that painful.

i'm a snake in lunar new years, & i was disappointed to find majima isn't one, but i was hella close as he's a dragon, & they are both a year apart, also random fact, kiryu's a monkey, & it's said that the dragon & monkey make a good married couple, so there you go, kazumaji is confirmed.
