Genshin: University AU [V1]

I love modern au. Or any “everything is fine, no one died, it’s just a fever dream” au. Half of me is thinking, damn maybe I should answer this serious- LOL HAHA no. That’s not happening. Time to crack my knuckles and let my brainworms take over again.

Once again, this is 90% crack 10% content. I want to switch up my characters from the last brainworm post but I included Kaeya and Diluc.

Diluc

Absolute pretty boy who has braincells, but only if Kaeya is not there. In his mind, Kaeya’s presence makes his room loose 40% of their common sense. He can’t prove it just yet but he’s working on it. He majors in accounting but also has a minor in marketing, logistics’ management, fia- he majors everything business related. He’s going to become the next Elon Musk through smarts or by getting the competition drunk. There can be no contest if he’s the only candidate. He’s actually a hard working guy that overworks and stresses way too much. You have daily “Diluc recharge” evenings where he just hangs onto you while you go through your day.

“Don’t fucking talk to me until I’ve had my coffee,” except there is no coffee - he drinks grape juice out of juice boxes and his only energy boost is when he meets up with you - and that’s his constant mood. So he usually only hangs around you and Jean, since she has childhood friend status and is actually an angel. By default, Lisa is added and Diluc doesn’t mind her but if he see’s Kaeya, it’s full on war paint mode. If he's not busy with work or studies, he's usually with you either in your dorm or his apartment.

He has a fanclub and he seriously hates it and tries to do everything in his power to get Ningguang to take it down. Shouldn’t this be against his rights? But she refuses for whatever reason and makes a whole speech about free will. No matter what he does, someone manages to take a picture and it get’s printed in the university’s newspaper. The only bonding time he has with Kaeya is every Monday, where they collect and burn all the universities newspapers before anyone can get their hands on it. You always bring marshmallows to make smores during their arson activities.

“When I graduate I’m going to burn this school down to the ground. That’s not a threat it’s a promise.”

Ningguang

Is secretly the leader of the Diluc fanclub - not that she likes Diluc, she’s in a questionable platonic poly marriage with you and Beidou - but it was the easiest way to gain funds for the student council. Which she is the president of, so rip Diluc the fanclub stays. Ruthless business woman I tell you. But she can run in heels so her danger factor rises by at least 20%.

Majors in social sciences and law but more specifically the political science & government. She saw the Imperial State Crown that the Queen of England wears and says yes, that’s mine now. If she’s not with Beidou and you planning on “how to infiltrate the state government just for lols”, then she’s with Keqing, Ganyu, and Zhongli discussing student council things. Should they or should they not tell the student body that they can see everyone’s search results? Sit back and relax as the school goes into chaos.

She’s probably the scariest person on campus No, she is the scariest person on campus. She’s the scariest person on campus. But secretly she’s popping 20 aspirins just to make it through a night. She has the digestive system of steel. She still holds the title of "seriously do not try and beat her in a drinking game it's never going to happen" and that's her proudest achievement in life but sadly she can’t put it on her resume. Kaeya is still trying to beat her out of spite but so far it hasn't been working. You’re seriously concerned for her when she get’s challenged but Beidou gives you a way-to-hard slap on the back and cheers her on. If Ninngguang somehow get’s alcohol poisonings she’ll somehow find away to make a profit out of it.

"I'll let him die, I'll get the insurance money."

Kaeya

One day he chugged too much mouth wash, passed out, and somehow woke up in university majoring in law. His idea is that if he is apart of the law, he can therefore stand above it. To be fair, his only goal in life is to say “I am the manager” and he can go live the rest of his life in bliss or as a hermit. He’s secret best friends with you but wouldn't be caught dead beside you. He will stab a bitch if you ever get hurt but will still trip you on the way home. Seriously, you have no idea why people find him attractive. Your guess is it’s the eye patch or the clap of his ass cheeks that keeps alerting everyone.

He’s apart of the newspaper club and if anyone asks: No, he has no idea who keeps taking all the newspapers and burns them in the back of the campus. Originally, he joined because he was nosy and needed to join some type of club for his resume. He sometimes feels bad for his junior assistant Amber because he keeps tricking her and says that Diluc is secretly a demon that is trying to steal all the jobs and is apart of the lizard government hell bent on eradicating the human race. He even brought out a whiteboard for this joke, he’s dedicated to his job ok?

The type of guy to try and be humble and say his work is “okay” but will choke a bitch if anyone agrees. He tends to leave everything last minute and says that it’s his drug since actual drugs could land you one year in prison and a maximum penalty of $2,000. You have to awkwardly hold in your concerned mother head shake when you see him speed running his assignment literally right when the professor is walking around to check if students finished.

“I was taught how to lead not to read.”

Mona

Broke wallet #2. Zhongli is broke wallet #1 but Childe simps for him so is he really a broke wallet at this point? In this essay, I Mona Megistus, will explain why I have the rights to the title “Broke Wallet #1″...

Believes that astrology should be an actual career path but refuses to take astronomy as her major. I can read the stars not a textbook that tells me how to calculate the mass of the sun divided by the fucks I give. Instead she went into Philosophy and cries to Albedo, who is an actual prodigy genius- sir lend some braincells to everyone else please?, that her professor keep turning her paper down because “star reading” is not an academic source.

Fischl wants her to join the occult club because, surprisingly, Mona is very good at telling people’s fates through her crayon sketch ouija board. She thinks first year Fischl is cute but is put off by the cosplay roleplay that she has going on. She would join except that stupid hat wearing gremlin in her lit class would make fun of her if he found out.

You gave her half your lunch one day and bought her a doughnut "because she seemed upset" and "out of the goodness of your heart" whatever the hell that means. She thinks you pensioned it but once that thought comes she takes a bite. Poison from a doughnut is not the worst way to go out, classes are hard enough. She’s waiting for the lord to strike her down anyways.

“Its not about passing, its about doing better than everyone else.”

Venti

Slept through most of highschool and people question how he got into university. He’s a music major (wow how fucking original is that), and if anyone asks him to serenade someone or just do anything, he’ll do it for the right price. Or if you buy him alcohol because he still keeps getting ID checked. He’s banking on Kaeya actually becoming a lawyer or being on good terms with Diluc so he can finally stop being arrested for looking like a toddler.

Takes one step into classes and quickly nopes out and goes back to bed. Professors have no idea how he hasn't dropped out or failed. He just has some god given talent. He does whine at you to pretty pretty please with a cherry on top tutor him because you're such an angel and would never leave your poor but awesome best friend hanging right? He needs to get this essay down but how he is suppose to explain how the number 10 is symbolic and connects to the universe or the meaning of life. Do you think he can just say it’s apart of his culture and make up some random myth to pretend it looks like he knows what he’s doing?

He’s honestly going with the flow and put his brain on the back burner all of highschool and only now realizes wait, I actually have to use my brain?

He’s been banned from most club chats since Venti has the no chill card. Someone says “lol I look ugly today.” and he’ll respond "yup, you look like a cow." and he get’s banned. Zhongli keeps a speed run timer on his phone just to document these occasions.

Childe

An actual dumbass that somehow does well. He eats sandwiches with the crust off, this heathen. Surprisingly he’s studying to become a physical therapist but most of his experience has come from breaking his own bones. You’re scared how he's going to be if he actually becomes a therapist. If he'll make bets with his patients or try to one up whatever crazy injury they get into. Everything is a challenge to him that sometimes the best way to deal with Childe is to knock him out.

This man really knows the way to a Zhongli’s woman's heart. Through micro transactions. Mona saw him accidently drop $20 and just shrugged and walked off. She has never been both spiritually and physically offended in her life. She did take the $20 though. As much as you hate leeching on Chile when he’s basically a walking wallet that probably uses bills as tissue paper, you can’t help but give him puppy eyes while planning on how to get into his will. If he even plans on having one, he might honestly write “whoever wins in a gladiator style duel in my funeral’s tournament, they will get my fortune.”.

Any sport the university offers Childe is probably in it. Which is how he met Zhongli, challenged him to a fight, proceeded to have his ass handed to him, got a backhanded compliment, and screamed to you he was in love and how he found his soulmate. He's secretly very sappy and has cried and watched every Disney and Pixar movie at least 28 times.

"IM NOT TOO SPICY! I’M A TINY BIT ABOVE MILD IF ANYTHING!”

God if it isn’t Scaramouche, it’s Childe that ruins the aesthetic. This is why I hate you. Why do you people enable me like this, it isn’t even good. This is pretty much a @ yourself moment and I vibe hard with Venti. This entire post was just to make a joke about the clap of Kaeya’s ass cheeks alerting the guards.

This week might slow down since I have classes and assignments. My reply’s are gonna be late too, sorry;; (oh and thank you to everyone that was so supportive and nice when I mentioned it. All of you. Beautiful 💕💕 )

a/n: sorry this took so long! also this is not gender neutral as the reader is a princess! I try my best to keep things gender neutral but I really wanted a princess thing. I mean....anyone can be a princess and I don’t mention any b00bs/vagaygay so I mean go crazy!

The rain was loud. Nearly deafening.

One couldn’t tell it was morning by looking outside, in fact, only the evidence of the hands on a clock would convince a normal person that it was day time. The sun was nowhere to be seen, covered by a thick wool blanket of dark gray clouds.

It might thunder today. You quietly think, heart soft and content.

The prince of Miyagi lay next to you, his warm eyes gazing at your face; you’ve never felt more beautiful than when you see yourself reflected in his eyes. His ears are a light pink, no doubt from the sight of waking up in bed with you. Just the night prior you two were kissing, embracing each other so tight that you nearly became one.

In certain aspects (that made your face grow warm), you had.

Your love nearly overflowed into bubbly laughter but if anyone caught you two together it would be only mere seconds before all hell broke loose. You may be a princess, but with a kingdom as rich as Miyagi and a kingdom as poor as yours, you might just be considered a criminal. Maybe even a spy.

But it was okay, everything would be okay -- you were in his arms. Your head was on his chest. His lanky legs were tangled with yours. Everything was okay.

He pulled away, eyes tracing your one before his nimble fingers tucked a stray hair behind your ears and in the heat of the moment -- his eyes looking into yours, the warmth of his hand brushing against your ear, the quirk of his lips into a small, satisfied smile -- you asked a hopeful question, a stupidly idealistic question.

“Kei, you’ll marry me someday, right?” You meant the words lightheartedly but the prince froze. Seconds passed as the sudden silence sunk deep into your heart, deep as a dagger in the back of a tyrant king. Slowly, the prince turned around, got up, his bare unsaturated skin being revealed as the silk covers fell from his shoulders. The faint reds of his elbows and nape made you want to kiss him, but somehow he seemed so far away. You bit back your words of concern, only hoping that he could open his mouth to say something, anything.

But alas, the notoriously silent blonde prince simply walked to his vanity that was decorated in gold embellishments. “Kei...?” you whispered, hand reaching out for his furthering body. The sheets almost fell from your naked body, a small gasp leaving your lips as your held it up to cover yourself, the sudden cold air unwelcoming.

“Kei --”

“Why would i marry you?” The prince’s words are sharp, they pierce through air like an arrow, the target your heart. For a second you don’t respond, partially because you’re not sure you even heard him right. Were you going deaf? Surely you were because Kei had just looked at you like you were his everything.

“W-what, Kei, what...what do you mean?” The honey eyes of the prince look back at you, but they’ve lost their usual warmth. They’re no longer warm honey, now they’re just...yellow. A mellow kind. The kind of yellow that looks neglected by the sun. The kind of yellow that makes a room feel cold and unfamiliar.

“You heard me. Why would I marry you?” Kei picks up his crème silk shirt that lay on the vanity and gently puts his arm through the sleeves, slender fingers closing the golden buttons. “You’re royalty from a poor kingdom, one that runs rampant with crime and a failing economy. You have the conversational skills of a peasant and absolutely no knowledge of the other nobles. The only thing you have going for you is your beauty -- and even that is topped by the others,” he speaks as if reciting a passage from a textbook, formal and distant.

You stay silent, awestruck. The words barely register in your mind, their meaning nearly lost in the sudden tsunami of despair wrecking your thoughts. “K-Kei, what? What do you mean, you said you loved me mere days ago --”

“Does that mean i’ll marry you?” He responded coolly. “It matters not if I love you,” Kei looks down and for a split second you see the anger and hurt behind his eyes, one that hurts you as much as it hurts him, “the king would never allow for it. So what’s the point?” As quickly as the moment comes, his vulnerability leaves and he returns to dressing himself.

“What’s the point of marriage if not for love, Kei?” You’re desperately searching his eyes in the mirror. But they’re not focused on you, they stare at his hands where his jewelry lays.

“For profit,” he states, “marriage when you’re royalty is merely for profit. That’s all it’s ever for.” He meets your gaze though through the mirror, “anyone who marries for love is a fool.”

Fool. You think. Is that what I am?

“I thought you were going to marry me, Kei. I thought that’s why you told me things you never told anyone else, I thought that’s why you took me to those places that were dear to your heart. I thought --”

“Your misunderstandings about our relationship aren’t my responsibility.” He hastily fixes the cuffs of his sleeves. “Do you understand?”

No. You think, no I don’t understand. I don’t want to.

Before you can open your mouth to continue arguing with him, you see him in the mirror. The red of his eyes, the furrow of his brows, the white knuckles from how hard he’s clenching the edge of the vanity. You can see the pain he’s in. You can see how his own words hurt him. You just want to kiss his pain away, even if it hurts you in the end.

“Tsukki--” you call him by the nickname you gave him, hoping it would illicit some kind of positive response.

“Please,” his voice breaks, head facing down but still tilted towards you, “please don’t call me that. Just, please --” he looks back at you, tears brimming his eyes, “please just stop. Please.”

I can’t love you properly. I’m sorry. Is the only thing rushing through his mind. He wants to say them, his thoughts, but he knows that in the end, the outcome will never change.

Prince Kei finishes putting on his shoes, the room now silent save for the rain beating on the castle rock outside the window. He makes his way out of the room, only stopping to look back at you.

He clears his throat, “are we clear, now, princess?”

Head hung low, you nod.

“Yes, Prince Kei.”

You took the scroll from the Hokage and beamed at her, “Thank you so much! I will be back soon to visit Konoha.”

“It’s nothing Y/N. I wish you the best of luck in Suna. Konoha will always welcome you and the Kazekage, maybe little versions of you two one day.” The gorgeous woman smirked behind her desk.

“Tsunade-sama, stop teasing me already!” You huffed and playfully laughed, “Please help me tell the others that I’ll miss them lots!”

“Not a problem!”

From now on, you would be working in Suna as a permanent Ambassador from Konoha. Finally, you were able to end your long-distance relationship with the red-haired Shinobi. It had been two years since you two started to officially date each other and one week into your marriage. You left her office feeling overwhelmed with happiness, knowing that there would be the other someone waiting outside to take your hand in his and walk with you on the rest of your journey. You wiped away the tears you shed before stepping through the door. You did not regret your decision ever so slightly because you knew Gaara was and would forever be your home.

Tōru Oikawa:

- "I think you and I should take our jackets and go out and play in the rain for a while."

- "Interesting proposal, but I'm not interested in catching a cold".

- "I'll do the housework for a week."

- "deal, you can't regret it now y/n"

- "yes, yes, now hurry up before it stops raining!" you said excitedly.

- "y/n they even announced that it might snow, so I don't think that's very probable" he said, teasing you a little at how excited you were

And so both of you put on some jackets and went out of the house to have a fun time.

It was already night and even though there was a heavy rain some stars could be seen in the sky together with the tenuous moonlight making your face shine in a hypnotizing way for Oikawa's eyes.

- "Hey y/n would you be so kind to dance with me?"

You laughed a little at his "gentlemanly" attitude and then answered him

- "of course, Mr. Oikawa"

- "thank you very much, Mx. Oikawa"

- "Hey! Did you really have to be so cheesy? Come on, I want to dance and you flirting with me is stopping me".

Your eyes were truly beautiful as you danced. He really wanted to dance all night with you, maybe he would have to buy something to make sure this moment would happen again because after all, the nights by your side always shined the same way.

Kei Tsukishima:

- “come on Kei, come on, let's go”

- “No, then we'll get sick, and I will not take care of you”.

- “we can have a movie marathon”

- “I'm not interested”.

- “How about I cook your favorite food?”

- “No, thank you”.

- “Come on, what can I do to convince you?”

- “I already said no, I don't feel like getting sick. You're an adult. You can go on your own”.

- “Okay, your choice”.

- “Yeah, yeah.”

You were a little disappointed that your boyfriend didn't want to go with you, but you weren't going to let that ruin your night and your fun time.

Grabbing a jacket, you left your house to be greeted with a strong rain.

Maybe acting like a kid for a while wouldn't be so bad.

Meanwhile, tsukki watched you through the window, making sure nothing happened to you, and admiring how beautiful you looked.

He really wanted to go with you and enjoy the few moments you had together, but he didn't know how to apologize for how he treated you a little bad a few minutes ago, and he didn't want to hear you teasing him because you knew he wanted to go with you.

He grabbed his jacket and walked out of his house to find you running around like a little kid.

- “You look like a kid, you know?”

- “and you, like an old man who hates life”. You replied, teasing him a little, glad that he came to join you.

You knew he was a little embarrassed by his change of decision, so without saying anything, you slowly approached him and extended your hand.

- “Mr. Tsukishima would you like to dance with me in the rain?” you said teasingly.

- “It would be my pleasure Mx tsukishima” responded in the same way with a visible blush on his cheeks, that you still couldn't decipher if it was because of the cold or because of what he had just said.

- “Hey! That wasn't part of the plan!” You said, and then you took his hand and started to dance with him

Mx tsukishima... it didn't sound so bad after all...

Tobio Kageyama:

- “why?”

- “because it can be fun and because we can have a nice moment to remember when the years go by....”

Right now, you were trying to convince your boyfriend to go play in the rain with you, something he wasn't sure about because of the risk of getting sick.

- ” ... “

- “then we can go for ice cream”

- “deal”

you were a little surprised by his quick response after offering to go for ice cream, I just know this guy likes to eat ice cream when it rains, but you decided not to make a big deal out of it and just go to the door with him following you.

- “wait, if you don't have a jacket on then you will probably get sick, and that I'm sure won't be a nice moment to remember” he said referring to what you had said a few minutes ago as he handed you a jacket

when you finally left your house, you decided to walk a little through the streets until you arrived to a nice park.

- “I know! tobio, let's dance for a while, what do you think?”

- “dance? But y/n we might fall down and- “

You didn't let him finish his sentence, by the time you were dragging him to the park and carefully taking his hand, you started to spin around.

- “y/n... what are you doing?”

- “It's not obvious? I'm spinning, you said teasingly.”

- “obviously I know that, what I mean is why?”

- “because it's fun”, you said happily

With a sigh, he grabbed your other hand firmly and placed it on his neck and wrapped his arms around your waist.

- “Better“

- “You know, if you wanted to dance with me all you had to do was ask me”, you said, laughing a little at his flushed cheeks.

- “I know, but I think this is a little more cute as well as this” and without saying anything else he pressed his lips to yours in a loving kiss.

It would definitely be a memory that would last for a long time, maybe he should start thinking of another moment that could feel as perfect and memorable as this one, plus it was worth catching a cold the next day.

Koshi Sugawara:

- “so a positive thing is that we can spend a sweet time as a couple and have some fun for a while”.

- “but a negative is that we might get sick or fall down”.

You and your boyfriend were making a list of pros and cons of why you should go out and play in the rain and why it was a terrible idea.

- “Koshi, we are not getting anywhere” you said, tired of all the time you were convincing each other why or why not you should go.

- “look, let's do something, let's throw a coin”

- “And you couldn't think of that before!?”

- “I had a better chance of winning the other way if I mentioned what it felt like being sick but well 3.... 2... 1....” and so sugawara flipped the coin and your idea was the winner.

- “well, I accept my defeat, but at least we have to dress warmly”.

- “okay let's go, let's go”

after you two got dressed warmly, you decided that it wasn't such a bad idea to go for a walk for a while

thanks to your boyfriend's job, spending a lot of time together rarely happened, so the two decided to catch up on everything that had happened in each other's lives, enjoying this sweet moment together.

After walking for a while, you came to a café that was open and decided that it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a drink to shake off the cold.

Thanks to the fact that both of you had gone out without umbrellas, your jackets were completely wet, so you decided to take off your jackets and leave them near a heater to dry them a little.

The two of you continued talking for a long time while you ate something just enjoying each other's presence until you looked out the window of the place and seeing the rain falling you had an idea, and without wasting time you paid the bill and taking koshi's hand you ran out of the place getting both of you completely wet in the process.

- “koshi, let's dance!” You said happily holding out your hand to him

your boyfriend who was still a little disoriented and still not realizing that the two were getting completely soaked simply took your hand and started to dance with both of you looking lovingly into each other's eyes and then kissing you softly on the lips.

The next day, however, sugawara was right to tell you that you would get sick, but it didn't matter, just remembering your smile from the day before was definitely worth it.

That baby radar we talked about last time—you both had it.

You can bet there’s a competition of who saw the cuter baby at the grocery store when the two of you go.

Though, no one ever wins because they’re all fckn cute.

You’re a little bit worse off than Bokuto though, in the sense that you won’t stop mentioning “when” you guys have kids versus “if”

And it’s kinda doing lots of funny things to him

Especially if you guys have friends over that have kids.

Akaashi gets soooo flustered when you start talking babies.

Because no matter how many different ways he looks at it, he thinks he’s not ready.

Especially when your newborn nephew gets dropped off for baby sitting.

Akaashi pretends not to notice the soft spoken voice you use for the baby.

Or the way it looks so natural, so right, to see you balancing him on your hip while you warm up a bottle.

He learned you’re also a co-sleeper and jump at the opportunity to nap with your nephew

But he can’t help but wonder if you’d do the same with your kids.

Then he starts panicking a little because he.’s falling down the rabbit hole of thinking he wouldn’t be a good dad.

Even more so when you bring up wanting to have a family with him.

Apparently you were prepared to just forego the entire idea of marriage and skip straight to family

Akaashi can and will freak out about that at another time.

“Shouldn’t we wait? Until we’re ready?”

“I am ready, Akaashi. But something tells me that you aren’t.”

Akaashi isn’t very vocal when it comes to his insecurities—it came with the territory of handling Bokuto for a couple years.

So when he’s sharing them with you, you naturally jump into overprotective mom girlfriend mode.

“Akaashi, I wouldn’t want to have kids with you if I didn’t think you’d be a good dad.”

Kuroo;

Being married to Kuroo Tetsurou comes with a warning label.

One you had to recite as a vow.

“I will not bring up children until I am ready.”

You always thought it was a little weird when he asked you include something along those lines.

And, after a year, you sometimes forget your vow. You’re only human.

What else is human is this ADORABLE toddler in the car next to you guys at a stoplight who won’t stop waving at you.

“Aw, Tetsu look! Say hi!” The former captain’s eyes narrow questioningly, but he doesn’t say anything yet.

It only gets worse from here on out.

Why do kids like waving at you? Idk, but it happens pretty frequently.

Like when the two of you go out to eat and a baby in their high chair stops throwing their food on the ground, just to smile and babble as they look at you.

It makes you soft.

And, considering you’re sitting right in front of him, Kuroo sees the way your eyes become three shades lighter with every interaction.

“Remember your vow, baby.” He grits out, though the strain goes entirely over your head.

“Why did you make me say that anyway?” Kuroo never explained why—only begged that you included it.

“Cause once we start having kids, we aren’t stopping until you physically can’t anymore.”

Oh.

“Hey, Tetsu?”

“Yeah?”

“Can we start when we get home?”

Tsukishima;

If you expected all of these to be happy hcs, I hate to disappoint.

But Tsukki wants to strangle you when you bring up kids.

He’s brought it up so many times that he does not want kids.

No matter how many times you fawn over your friends’ children.

Or how much you splurge on gifts when you have to attend a baby shower.

That last one in particular especially made him want to fight you.

You will tease and joke over and over how much you just want him to impregnate you.

“Come on, Tsukki. You’d be such a hot dad!”

He’s not gonna deny that.

But he is definitely going to deny impregnating you.

Unfortunately, this is a recurring argument for the two of you.

To the point where you feel a little empty every time you hear once of your old friend’s just introduced another family member.

And Tsukki knows it’s wearing down heavily on you.

To where you almost aren’t really yourself anymore.

“I’m not agreeing to this,” he says one day when he finally sits you down, “but give me some time to...mentally prepare for being a family.”

Let’s be real—Ushi kinda dense.

So honestly, don’t expect him to pick up or understand the excitement you have when you see a baby

Or fawn over receiving wedding invites because someone still hasn’t popped the question.

Until he overhears you on the phone with someone after getting home from work. Your mother, apparently.

“No, mom, he hasn’t proposed. Yes, I know we’ve been together for the better half of a decade, thanks for reminding me. No, you aren’t going to have any grandkids anytime soon.”

Oh. Was...was he doing something wrong?

“I should go, Toshi’s gonna be home soon.”

As soon as you open your bedroom door, you’re met with your stone-faced partner who was standing close enough that, if the door were still closed, he would have been pressed up against it.

“Are you upset with me?”

“Wha—no! No, you know how my mom gets...”

Ushijima may be a little dense, but he is at least somewhat aware enough to know when you’re lying.

“Let’s talk.” Not allowing you to escape, his large hands plant themselves on your shoulders just as firmly as his voice, leading the two of you to sit on the edge of the bed. “Is that what you want? A marriage? A family?”

“Of course, Toshi, I love you. We’ve been together for seven years—“

“Whatever you want, I will do for you.”

Tendou;

You had always told Tendou you didn’t want kids any time soon.

And he’s totally okay with—gives you two the chance to be just that.

So you both agreed to you going on birth control. IUD specifically, just so you didn’t have to worry about anything for a few years at a time.

Nothing to worry about!

Except seeing your best friend hold her newborn is doing funny things to you

And your other BFF just found out she’s pregnant

Now they’re both kinda just expecting you to follow in line

“You guys know I’m not ready.”

But they see just how tender you are with the newborn

Or how you’re very involved with the pregnant one, constantly asking her questions of what she’s feeling and how excited she is to be a mom

They know you too well—you’re already entertaining the idea.

So while you and Tendou are laying on the couch together, you try to nonchalantly bring it up. Try.

“How would you feel if I didn’t replace the IUD this time around? Hypothetically speaking, of course.”

Tendou’s typically bemused face perks up. “Oh? Making plans without me?”

“Wha—no! I’m just asking a question!”

“Mm, okay,” though his tone is light, there’s a bit of a teasing drawl, “then, hypothetically speaking, I would try to convince you to finally let me get you pregnant.”

Haikyuu Boys as Wedding Dates

Sooo this is a first for me, so please let some feedback, critiques, etc.!

I would not call this smut per say, but definitely suggestive. Rate: M

Warnings: Language, suggestive, sexual language specifically.

All 3 are of age, of course.

Tsukki:

Getting him to be your plus one to a wedding would be hard enough as it is. He thinks marriage is unneeded.

After much begging (on your part), he agrees.

The ceremony would bore him to death. Many yawns come from him during this time.

He hands you a tissue, seeing the tears starting to spill over as the bride and groom say their vows.

He smirks to himself, thinking adorable it is you get emotional at things like this.

At the reception, Tsukki is definitely one to sit at the table while you go out and dance with all your friends.

He will have a steady flow of drinks for you and himself, as this was the only highlight of coming to the wedding.

After 3 or 4 drinks for both of you, he will start to get touchy feely when you go back to your seat.

Rubbing on your back, teasing the inside on your thigh with his finger tips.

The longer he teases you, the more worked up he gets as well, taking your hand and putting it over the bulge in his pants.

He will start kissing and nipping on your neck, whispering in your ear what a dirty girl you’ve been today, dancing all over other people.

He slides his hand up your thigh and lightly traces your slit, his breathing coming faster against your neck as he feels the wet spot already forming for him

So by the time the ceremony starts, you are relieved to sit down and just relax, leaning into your boyfriend.

He will wrap his arm around you, using his thumb to softly draw patterns on your shoulder.

As the bride and groom say their vows, Kuroo will tighten his hold on you

As you look over and up at him, you’ll see him looking down at you.

So much love in his eyes, it causes you to tear up and him to smile because of it.

You shove him away, smiling and wiping the corners of your eyes.

At the reception, you and Kuroo will both be out on the dance floor

A few drinks in your system, bodies moving to the music and having a great time.

When a song comes on that you guys can really vibe to, he will pull you back against him. Your back glued to his chest.

His lips, whispering praises and sweet things in your ear in between soft kisses to your cheek and neck.

You will push your ass back against him, feeling your breathing get quicker as his kisses on your neck become soft nips.

His hands will move from your hips to the middle of your stomach, and inch their way down before you grab him by the wrists.

You twist around to look up at him, his half laden eyes looking down at you like he is ready to devour you whole.

You slowly lick your lips, realizing just how thirsty you are at that exact moment.

Kuroo realizes exactly what you need and pulls you off the dance floor, and into the hallway.

He holds your hand as he starts looking around, wiggling door handles,

until he finds an unlocked supply closet.

Once you both are crammed inside the supply closet, you hear a button pop and a belt unbuckle

You look up at him and smile, knowing exactly what is next as you start to wrap your arms around his neck, hiking your leg up on his hip...

Kenma:

Kenma is similar to Tsukki in that it is a bit hard to get him to agree to go.

Not because he hates weddings. He just doesn’t feel like wasting his time going to a wedding (not that you blame him).

During the ceremony, Kenma holds your hand, fidgeting and playing with your fingers. It makes you smile as you think it is adorable.

But really, he just needs to be moving his hands at all times. Habit that was formed from playing video games so often.

At the reception, he will whip out his switch while you go and dance with the girls.

He will make sure that you have a drink anytime you ask for one, but for him? He has one, maybe 2 drink max.

He doesn’t like to be hung over so he prefers not to drink, but that works well because you always have your DD.

As you start to near the line between tipsy and drunk, you plop down on his lap, pulling the switch out of his face.

He will set it down on the table so he can give you his undivided attention.

What that really means is, he will wrap his arms around your waist and press soft kisses on to the side of your neck, running his nose along your jawline.

Once you start to squirm in his lap, he’ll smile against your neck before moving down and biting your shoulder, looking up at you with those golden eyes.

The knot in your stomach grows tighter, and he can tell. The way your body is moving, heating up under his hands. And the look in your eyes as you look down at him.

Just as he starts to slide his hand up the inside of your thigh, his pinky teasing the edge of your panties.

This causes you to roll your hips down against him, feeling him straining against his pants.

You continue to roll your hips slowly, not wanting to draw any attention to yourself, but feeling Kenma resting his forehead against your shoulder as soft growl leaves his lips.

He’ll whisper in your ear that it’s time to go home before moving biting your neck again, this time hard enough to leave a small mark.

He helps you straighten your dress and get gather your things to walk to the car, but he opens the back door for you to climb in.

He knows that you two will need to make a stop, because he doesn’t think he can wait that long..

What in the World? (Akaashi Keiji x Reader) pt.3

To answer your question from 2 nights ago, the reason why you never saw Akaashi leave his house was because he got up early for volleyball practice and arrived late as well. Due to the circumstances, the both of you made a silent agreement to go home together. Only if there was practice of course.

School had already ended and the walk back home finished. Seated on your desk, you practiced your quirk. Morphing the leaves into different shapes and sizes, manipulating the soil to quicken its growth or whatever your mind could think of.

The little sessions you were doing made you remember your childhood. The day you found out about your quirk was similar to what you were doing. 4 years old with a soiled shirt. A gigantic carrot in the back of the house followed by leaps of joy of having a daughter with an enlargement quirk. It wasn’t until you were 6 years of age that you realized you could not only enlarge things but manipulate them as well.

Not long after, your quirk finally showed its potential.

Matter Manipulation. The thought of having such an intense quirk scared you. But, being that gifted, being a hero would probably be a walk in the park

Upon seeing just how blessed you were, they ended up boasting you in their agency. Once the word spread, they received a letter coming from Endeavor’s agency hence the arranged quirk-marriage.

It always made you wonder. Why didn’t you develop romantic feelings for Shoto? Maybe it was how the situation began or because he took care of you like a brother you’ve always yearned for. Probably the latter.

Leaning onto your chair, you put the plant back in its original state. Something as little as that shouldn’t have been so tiring on your part. If anything, it felt as if your quirk was slowly disappearing.

“How would it feel to be quirkless though?”

Recalling the Shie Hassaikai Raid, Overhaul had envisioned a world without quirks. Maybe he was just born in the wrong dimension. He was a hypocrite, of course. In a way, every single being relied on their quirks to the point where things were patterned after them. Remembering the Quirk Singularity theory, maybe the garbage man wasn’t a hundred percent wrong.

“Jeez.” You dragged your chair to your window and peaked at the neighbor’s. Bless him for pulling the curtains to the side. “This dimension’s turning me into a stalker and praising a villain.”

Reaching for your phone, you scrolled through some group chats and found what you were looking for. You promised those 2 girls you would call them, but with how you were not able to use your quirk for everyday living, you just fell asleep before you could hit the dial button.

“Hey girl!” Asami greeted as she adjusted her video. Her room was the embodiment of a pink princess. Pink walls, pillows, and even her chair. Mina entered your mind. How was your alien friend doing?

“How was the volleyball practice?” Akiko entered the video conference. Hair a mess and screen focused on the upper half of her face.

“First. Mimi was right.” Seeing that Akaashi’s room was still empty, you looked at the two girls on the screen. “Bokuto-senpai is really beefy. He’s tall too. Reminds me of a very hyper owl.”

“Did you hear his slogan?” Asami was a fan girl. It was clear by now.

“Slogan? You mean his ‘Hey! Hey! Hey!’?” A loud screech echoed through your walls. “Yes. I hear it multiple times a day. It’s pretty cute though. He’s like a child on steroids.”

“What’s the second point?” Akiko asked.

“I almost got hit by a ball. Other than that, that’s pretty much it.”

“And who saved your clumsy ass?”

“Akaashi-san did. Bokuto-san’s setter.” The gasps and their sudden change of posture was something you were not in the mood for. “And no. Before you two go feral, nothing else happened. That’s it.”

“No fun!” The two girls exclaimed.

The rest of the call, you managed to get a bit more information about the two girls. From random memories you don’t know about, small mannerisms that they do when they get all excited, or even just the gist that they would do anything a friend would do. When you heard about the problems they were having, hero instinct kicked in.

Their problems were nothing compared to what you had back home. Giving advice made you feel like a therapist but seeing their thankful expressions, it was all worth it.

When the morning came, you opened your window and looked at your neighbor’s. Any minute now, he would do the same and ask if you were ready to go. With the small window of time, you stared at the gray sky. The clouds looked heavy with rain. Though you had your jacket ready, you couldn’t help but miss your personal heater.

“I wonder how half and half is doing?” You began to drift. Staring at your palm, you made sure it was facing the opposite way from Akaashi’s window before activating your quirk. Despite only practicing on a plant, you could feel your quirk gaining a bit more power. “35%. And it’s too straining, even for me. Fuck.”

“Everything alright?”

Clenching your fist immediately, your eyes snapped to the direction of the voice. Mouth slightly open. Just how long had he been watching.

“I honestly don’t know but it’s fine.” You shrugged. “No practice today?”

“Coach said to take a break for today. We can head to school now if you want.”

“D’you wanna grab a snack bar first?”

“Okay.” Closing both your windows at the same time, you proceeded in getting ready.

It wasn’t long before both of you were inside the convenience store. Your eyebrows furrowing at the sight of foreign snack bars. The one’s back home usually had certain nutrients that enhanced quirks a tiny bit. Sort of like a coffee rush. The one’s in front of you were a bit dull. Or maybe you weren’t sure which flavor to get.

“Akaashi-san.” Gunmetal blue eyes met yours. “What can you recommend?”

The small tilt of his head was rather pleasing to look at. Watching how he scanned for a potential candidate, Akaashi reached for a blueberry-oatmeal variant. Flipping it to read the ingredients, he extended his arm a bit and offered you the snack.

“Bokuto-san likes that flavor. You might too.” When you took the snack from his hand, his eyes widened a fraction of a second. Sure, he felt random sparks but this one was a bit more intense. Brushing it off, he ushered you to the cashier. Offering to pay for the food, he watched as your eyes brightened up a tiny bit.

As he was paying, you exited the convenience store. That small jolt of electricity was something much bigger than the ball incident. Peaking at your hand, you activated your quirk and saw how the yellow glow was brighter than before.

‘What the hell even is this? If this is the second time for this to happen then something must be up. But, Akaashi doesn’t have a quirk so there’s no way our quirks are colliding or some shit. Or maybe he does have a quirk he’s just not telling it. But maybe this is an after effect of having a quirk in a different place?’ Your thoughts would make Deku’s mumbling look slow.

The glow on your palm suddenly expanded till it just burst like Bakugo’s explosions. Eyes widening at the feeling of not being able to control your own power.

‘What the fuck??’

Being so lost in thought, you were startled when you felt a hand pulling your arm. The next thing you felt was your body colliding with another. Your cheek touching his tie as his arm was protectively wrapped around your shoulder. Looking up, you saw how his eyes were focused on a bike that had stopped a few feet away.

“Are you okay, miss?!” The biker exclaimed. “My brakes gave way!”

“It’s my fault, mister! Sorry.” You bowed but struggled a bit. Akaashi still holding on to your shoulder. “I was distracted and so lost in thought I probably didn’t hear you calling out for me.”

After apologizing to the man for not taking into account your surroundings, you offered to help in fixing his brakes. Though he refused, you waved him off and told him a wire or screw must have been loose. So when he turned around and apologized to Akaashi, you quickly put your quirk to use and repaired the brakes.

With things going back to the way they were, the both of you were now approaching the school. Every few steps, you would stare at his hands. Come to think of it, you wondered if he saw the explosion coming from your palms.

“About a while back,” You opened the topic. “Sorry for the trouble.”

“It’s nothing.” He answered. Eyes focused on the approaching school gate. “Just be more careful next time.”

“Yes sir.”

“I do have a question, though.” Hearing you hum, he proceeded. This time his gaze was towards you. “Why are you carrying firecrackers?”

‘So he did see.’ You mentally cursed. Even if you used the ‘it was just light reflected from the glass windows’, there was no way the tall male would believe you. Trying to think up a reason, you began to chew on your lower lip.

“AKAASHI! (Y/N)-CHAN!”

‘Oh thank the quirk gods…’

“I HAVE GREAT NEWS!” Bokuto said as he jumped with excitement. Just in time, he managed to catch you eyeing his childhood friend. There was a moment of silence that even Akaashi wondered why he suddenly stopped yapping. “Anyway! Karasuno and Nekoma will be visiting us during the weekends for some practice matches. AAAHHH! TSUKKI AND KUROO WILL BE THERE AND WE CAN HAVE ANOTHER MATCH, AGAASHI!”

“I’m looking forward to it, Bokuto-san.” He turned to face you as all you three head up the stairs towards your respective classrooms. “You’ve never met the other teams right?”

“No. But I did do research~” One of the lighter things when it came to learning about this place. The teams were pretty interesting and it would be awesome to witness a match with other schools.

Sliding the door open for you, the both of you entered your room with a few greetings here and there. Once the bell rang, you took out your notebook and pen. Again, you caught yourself thinking, what was going on in your own world? Was there another you struggling as well? Twirling your pen, you allowed yourself to drown in your thoughts.

Okay Suga is SO hyped up at the chance to help plan a proposal for the COLD Tsukki of all people

Yachi and Kiyoko are volunteering to distract you while the boys set up 👑👑

So imagine their surprise when Tsukishima reveals that he actually planned to just give you the ring when you two were cooking dinner

Simp 1 and Simp 2 (Tanaka and Nishinoya) are SCREECHING in horror at his audacity to plan such a boring and undeserving proposal

Even Hinata and Kageyama are snickering at Tsukishima’s lack of romance 🧡💙

So now Tsukki is riled up and wants to prove to his team that he could wow you with his romance skills

Tanaka takes this opportunity to flex his marriage to Kiyoko and says

“Young pupil, let the master here show you how it’s done”

Okay so now the team is brainstorming things that Tsukishima’s partner would like

They settle on him baking you a strawberry shortcake (which happens to be his favourite and since you’ve been hanging around him sm, it’s become your favourite too)

Daichi is pulling out some secret cake decorating skills and writes “will you marry me” on it

Tsukishima sees this as an opportunity to do a 2 in 1 and convinces the simp duo as well as well as the freak duo to dress up in blow up dinosaur costumes for the sake of “love”

He’s going to rent out the Sendai Gynasium since he works there and is going to give you a show that consists of

Hinata and Kageyama dancing in their dinosaur costumes 🦕

Tanaka and Nishinoya jumping around with tambourines and maracas in their dinorsaur costumes 🦖

Daichi and Suga will pull down a banner with your name on it from the bleachers

The girls will bring you into the gym for the surprise

Yamaguchi and Asahi will bring out the cake and sparkers 🎂✨ with Ennoshita, Kinoshita, and Narita cheering in the background

7. Random HC: Dancing in the rain

You’re a sucker for the romance of the rain so when you and your boyfriend Tsukishima are locked out from your house in the pouring rain, you’re pulling his arm back out into the front yard 🌧

He’s a grumbling mess because he HATES his stuff getting wet and is worried that you will both catch colds (but that’s fine because a couple that gets sick together, stays together LOL)

Both your heads are drenched in the cold water and your shirts are sticking to your skin so you press your body against his to keep warm

He doesn’t know how to react but he’s quick to wrap his long arm around your shoulders

You hold onto his torso and you start to sway to the rhythm of the splattering rain

There’s no music so Tsukki starts to hum a song he’s been listening to because we all know he loves those goddamn headphones

All that remains in the air is his soft humming and the loud rain

He rests his chin on the top of your head and now his body is guiding yours

The rainy spell that was cast on your salty boyfriend creates a romantic side you’ve never seen before

He twirls you around and pulls you towards him once more

“We’re going to catch a cold tomorrow and it’s going to be all your fault”

“Don’t be mean, Tsukki. Just enjoy the moment”

Zhongli

Your first impressions of Zhongli was that he was an egotistical and selfish brat. To be fair, you might have adopted some of those qualities yourself but you were both children at the time. Your sister, Guizhong, was tasked to take care of Zhongli in place of his parents which lead to your first meeting with the infamous Imperial Prince. At first, you were excited to finally meet someone who was the same age as you and Guizhong was always so kind. But when he turned to face you two, he just asked if Guizhong was supposed to be his concubine. You weren’t sure whether to gag or throw your shoe at him but Guizhong quickly intercepted before you could do anything that could get you killed. It’s only until you spent more time with him that Zhongli tells you that he has never had someone care for him or want to spend time with him without some alterative motive.

Zhongli radiates sheltered child from birth. To outsiders, he seems really slow on normal everyday tasks but that’s because he’s never had to worry about doing mundane things. He’s always had someone else to do them for him that when he’s out in public, he just stands around and waits for someone to help him. It’s incredibly awkward for everyone in the situation when Zhongli forgets to bring mora and just stands off to the side until one of his servants comes to pick up his check. That’s how Zhongli got such a bad reputation of being a spoiled brat despite being a well-mannered and polite man. When he drops something he just turns to look at you, back at the object, then back at you. You have to pound it into your brain that no, Zhongli is not a lazy and he isn’t trying to be insulting, that’s just how he’s lived his life. When you tell him he is fully capable to picking things up, because what if he dropped something important when he was older and the wind swept it away, he pounders the thought as if you’ve just explained the meaning of the celestials to him that you give up and just pick it up for him.

A Prince from Mondstadt named Venti used to come to Liyue for playdates while their father’s talked business and politics. He was the complete opposite of Zhongli but you genuinely liked him. While he was a bit more bolder and hyper compared to the calm and quiet Zhongli, he would always try and get Zhongli out of the palace and outside. You end up missing so many fun and interesting things when you’re locked up in your study room. How can the next Emperor care about his land when he doesn’t even know what it’s like to live there? It was the first time you and Zhongli went out just for fun and you might have gone a bit overboard in hindsight, but Venti’s personality and the feeling of freedom to do anything was addicting. Plus, watching Zhongli’s reactions to all these new feelings made him feel a bit more human. While you knew that Zhongli would do everything for Liyue, you never got the impression that his heart was in it.

From then on, you and Zhongli try and carve some time out of his schedule to go down to the streets and have a little bit of a break. When you both built kites and scaled all the way to the mountains to fly them, it was the first time you’ve seen Zhongli be bad at something. He always had such elegance and perfection whenever his teachers asked him to do something but as soon as the kite took flight, it would stumble then come crashing down. Zhongli had the most heartbroken puppy expression on his face that you couldn’t help but burst out laughing. While you’re on the ground gasping for air and probably have the most ridiculous expression on your face, Zhongli smiles gently as he looks at you then back to Liyue. The moment is ruined when Guizhong comes running towards you both and scolds you for sneaking out.

While it’s somewhat annoying when other attendants in palace gush about how well Zhongli is growing into becoming the next emperor, both in smarts and appearance, you have to somewhat agree with them in some places. If you want to know the history of Liyue or how to properly place a tea set, he can tell you in incredible detail. However, when it comes to social cues and interactions, he’s awful at them. Everything is treated a business deal that it makes everyone somewhat nervous or uncomfortable that you’re internally dying at any social event he goes to. But despite the awkwardness, he has a lot of admires that frequently send him letters of marriage or adoration that you have to shift through. It makes you a bit uncomfortable reading the flowery language but it surprised you a bit how many people have the misconception that Zhongli planning to have you as his spouse. When you mention this to Zhongli as a joke, he returns to his thinking pose and he contemplates the idea before nodding and agreeing with the letters. He proposes to you right then and there and it’s such a sudden development that your brain has finally broke and you pass out.

Venti

Venti is one of those royalty types that spends so much time outside and away from his duties that he’s basically thrown his cape and crown to the wind. The first time Zhongli visited Monstadt, his first impressions of Venti were him singing to a crowd. While Zhongli doesn’t understand why Venti would spend his time on music rather than his studies, they still get along well. Mostly because Venti has a very easy going personality, even if he’s a bit blunt, but whatever comments he makes fly over Zhongli’s head. Unlike him, you’re the complete opposite. You’re a knight in training with an earnest heart that wants to protect the City of Mondstadt with your entire being. While you don’t necessarily hate Venti, because he never asked to be born into the royal family, you can’t help but get frustrated at his nonchalant attitude towards everything aside from alcohol and music.

Your first meeting with him was during your time training under the Favonius Knights. You wanted to get a bit more practice late in the night when Venti stumbled upon you bullying a poor wooden dummy before he announces his arrival. He laughs a bit at your fumbling as you quickly get into a proper kneel but he waves it off saying it was unnecessary before he asks what you’re up to. You’re in mid-explanation when Venti cuts you off with a yawn and you can feel the irritation creeping up on you as you snap back why he’s outside instead of inside the safe walls of the castle. Your irritation grows even further when Venti smugly grins, patting himself on the back from getting a rise out of you, before he reaches into the bag you just noticed he was carrying to produce sheets of music.

While his teacher’s drone on and on about the production of wine, he is busy writing songs in his textbooks. While he understands the importance of his role, he thinks the people can rule themselves just fine without his help. He wants to leave his crown and become a bard and live an ordinary but free life. How he’s always sneaking out to go explore without the world constantly breathing down his neck. Whether his posture is correct or if he’s memorized the history of berries wouldn’t matter. Honestly, Venti is weighing his options of either staying as a royal or leaving everything behind to pursue the life he wants. When he finishes his heart-felt speech he expects you to give him those same pitiful and woe is you eyes but you’re just angry. You can understand his sentiment, living a life that you never asked for isn’t fun, but suddenly packing your things and jumping ship would only cause chaos and conflict. At least have some sort of replacement before you leave damnit.

Now it’s your turn to be surprised, rather than taking offense to you, a nameless knight, basically insulting the him, the Prince, he lights up in excitement. He rips his cape and crown off before he’s shoving them onto you before you can even say anything. He’s almost bouncing on his feet as he tells you that you can freely take his crown and become the next in line. You have no idea how that would work but he mentions that he knows a man named Albedo that can help change your appearance to look like him. That way, you get to protect the City you love so much and he get’s to live the life he’s always wanted. It’s completely fool proof with no flaws whatsoever! Except for the fact, that he is jumping way too far to conclusions, he’s shoving his responsibilities onto you, and most importantly, you don’t the first thing about Venti and how to act like him.

Before you know it, Venti has dragged you to meet his Father to personally appoint you as his personal knight. He doesn’t take no for an answer even though you aren’t qualified at all to be protecting someone of high position as him but Venti’s always been a handful that someone needs to watch over him. You have no idea how one night managed to throw your entire life into this chaos but you’re not sure if you can even get out of this situation at this point.

Kaeya

It all happened so suddenly. You and him were playing in the gardens when his father rushed in and took both of your hands and dragged you to the border to Khaenri’ah. The land you were both used to seeing, the friendly baker that would always give you both sweets, or the magic that used to flow so freely was transformed into red cubes. You were both scared and confused but as you both reached the border oh Khaenri’ah, a large gate that leads to the above world of Teyvat, his father tells you both to run as far as you could and never look back before he pushed you both in. It wasn’t until years later that you both discovered that a corrupted god had taken control of Khaenri’ah. Now, everyone believes that the Khaenri’ah prince is dead because he’s been missing for so long and whatever hope Khaenri’ah has is gone. For his own safety, he had to change his name to Kaeya and you both found yourself at the gates of Mondstadt.

It took a lot of adjusting for the both of you but Kaeya especially. Your mother had dropped you into the care of Kaeya’s family for a short while before everything went downhill. She was a bit on the neglectful side but she was still your mother and you knew she was alive. On the other hand, Kaeya lost his entire family and nation in a single moment. Whatever pure happiness and bright personality he used to have quickly regressed until he was a shy and quiet kid. You know he blames himself for what happened even if there wasn’t anything he could have done but he’s grown a fear of outsiders so he tends to avoid other children his age. Instead finding comfort in playing with the funny looking abyss mages and slimes that are on the outskirt of Mondstadt. While he doesn’t seem bothered by the weird comments other people make of him, you know deep down he does get hurt, that it makes you so mad that you end up lashing out.

You end up getting into a few fights as Kaeya patches you up. He scolds you and says that he doesn’t need you to go so far for him is when you make him a promise that you’ll protect him with everything you have. It’s the first moment since everything happened that he seems to gain back that life in his eyes. He blinks at you before he chuckles sheepishly and comments that you can’t even tie your shoes correctly do you stumble a bit. You’re a bit embarrassed at your sudden proclamation but stand determined about it. You both end up making a pinky promise to stay by each other’s side until the very end.

When you’re both older and in the position of Captain and Teacher in the Favonius Knights is when he seems to be a bit more open. You both end up gaining a reputation of the laid-back Calvary Captain that bother’s the strict but kind Teacher. He’s always waltzing in the middle of you class to tease you before you end up throwing something at him to get him to stop embarrassing you in front of new recruits. You end up getting back at him with your woe is me acting and push all your paper work on him. Since he loves spending so much time in your class, he should know how to do all your paper work right?. Despite all of this, if anyone needs to find Kaeya or you, you’re basically a packaged deal. Always attached to the hip.

Kaeya knows deep down, at some point he’s going to have to go back to Khaenri’ah and save his people but he’s conflicted. While he knows it’s selfish that he get’s to live a life of freedom, he wants to be selfish. Not just for him but for you as well. You’ve both basically lost everything and now that things are okay, he doesn’t want to give that up. While you both promised to stay together until the end, you’re the only person he has left and he doesn’t want to rope you into his mess or have you worry about him. He’s heard of the blond traveler in black and blue that is searching for the lost prince of an unnamed kingdom, knows that the peaceful life he has right now will come to an end, but he pushes it aside. Besides, there are more important things to attend to. Today might be the day he tells your students about how you fell into a lake because you got scared by a frog.

Jean

Jean is incredibly dedicated to her role and to her people because she’s genuinely a good person and wants to see people happy. Especially her sister Barbara. She’s a bit awkward and clumsy in her execution but she has a lot of heart. Being her personal knight, you know just how hard she works and you admire her greatly for her ideals and nature. She has such a professional and gentle façe when she’s out in public but as soon as she’s behind closed doors, she’s collapsing into your arms as the world lifts for a short while. You chuckle a bit amused at how different she appears to the outside world, how the ever prime and proper Princess wakes up with a rat’s nest, how her favourite food is pizza, or how she throws these 7 inch heels out the window as soon as a ball is over.

Due to Jean’s kind-hearted nature, when it comes to more pushy people she can’t seem to say no to. Travelers or citizens that think they can take advantage of the Princess is what makes your blood boil. While she isn’t stupid and knows that people are taking advantage of her, she wants to extend any help she can. Not for her public image but because that’s how she is. While it warms your heart that people like her exist, as her knight you can only let so many things slide. When some shady peddler tries to lead Jean somewhere, you’re already stepping in and smilingly sweetly as you grip the peddler’s hand in a death grip and not so subtlety say that he better have a good excuse for why he wants to drag the Princess away or there might be a problem.

When Jean is overworking herself and nearing her breaking point is when you step in. You may be her knight but you’re also her friend and you know when it’s time to stop her destructive habits. She might complain and reassure you that she’s fine but you don’t accept that. If she was “fine” her temperature wouldn’t be the same level as a pyro slime and she wouldn’t have such dark circles under her eyes. It’s a simple bend and lift to carry her in your arms that she ends up stuttering before going pink and let’s you carry her to her room. While she’s screaming into her hands, you’re preparing medicine and everything she’ll need to make a full recovery.

The hardest times for Jean is when her Father constantly pesters her to find a husband. Jean is an independent person and while yes, while being a workaholic isn’t against help, but she doesn’t believe she needs a husband just to make her entitled to rule her kingdom. Besides, Jean is secretly a hopeless romantic. You’re very tight lipped about secretly finding her love story books hidden under her bed unless you want to see her self-combust. You try your best to comfort her but there’s not a lot you can do for her situation other than offer words of reassurance and try and get her mind off things. While you’re patting her on the back she’s looking at you as if you’re the most oblivious person in the world.

Albedo

Albedo is a renowned alchemist that helps royal families with their problems with the use of his intelligence and abilities in alchemy. Something that only a few people can do throughout Teyvat, you being one of them as well. At first, you had admired Albedo and his abilities and saw him as a bit of a role model for young alchemist. Until you actually met him in person. He’s pretty much an emotionless void of a person that he comes off as extremely unempathetic when he listens to the woes of royals. While you sort of agree, the problems that royal’s commission you for are completely ridiculous and selfish, he doesn’t have a moral compass and if he can benefit from it. He’ll do it, no matter how questionable it may seem.

Maybe it’s because you have a little sister figure in your life to stir your moral compass but it still get’s you irritated. It’s always a joy to see Klee when you come back home from your travels that whatever bad mood you were in suddenly washes away. But when you knock on Alice’s door only to have it open to reveal Albedo holding Klee in his arms does your world come crashing down. Klee is completely ignorant to your internal screams as she scrabbles out of Albedo’s hands to give you a hug and take your hand in hers as she leads you inside. You can almost feel the inner workings of Albedo’s mind as he stares at you blankly as Klee shows you the new art she drew.

You both don’t mention or talk about it even when you happen to cross each other’s paths outside or you both end up seeing each other at Alice’s home. It’s a bit funny to you, to the outside world Albedo seems so aloof and untouchable, and yet you’re here watching him get tired from chasing Klee around and trying to stop her destroying her home with her bombs. It almost makes you smug when Klee listens to you better than Albedo, it might seem a bit petty and small but you don’t care. He ends up getting back at you when he ends up one-upping you in front of the royal court. He does a quick scan of the room before his eyes land on you and he shoots you a small smug smile before his face returns to it’s neutral expression. You’re clapping along with everyone with the most strained smile you can muster.

You manage to find out from Klee that Albedo enjoys drawing that the next time you see him, you ask if you could see him draw something or if he had sketches on hand. You’re fascinated by his drawings, more so than his actual research discoveries, as you look at the tiny details he’s managed to capture. Outside of Klee, no one’s really been interested in his drawings that he can’t help but feel a little flustered when you’re gushing about his work. It’s different from people praising his alchemist efforts, you’re not someone whose staring at him like he’s on a pedestal when you say you like his drawings, and it feels genuine. He offers a small smile and says that if you’d like, he’d love to show you some more sketches.

You’ve never noticed it until other people bring it up but Albedo seems close to you. Usually once he’s done his business he leaves but if you happen to be around, he sticks around a bit longer just to speak with you. How he seems comfortable to relax in your presence and even leans in closer. How he complies with your requests without any benefit to him. You’re not sure what type of relationship you hold with Albedo. You don’t think you’re friends but you’re definitely closer than acquaintance. If taking care of a a hyper active walking bomb doesn’t bring two people closer than you don’t know what does. But at the end of the day, you find you don’t really care. Not everything needs to be labelled and categorized like things are in alchemy. People don’t seem to understand but you always duck out and escape before you’re questioned further about your personal life. Unbeknownst to you, Albedo is watching you go as he ponders your words.

Childe

Childe is such a clown. He’s an assassin that doesn’t know the first thing about being subtle and is just in it for the fighting. He’s really just an incredibly egotistical bastard that likes being friendly with his targets, just to see their shocked expressions when it’s him that comes to take their life. He’s actually a pretty down to earth guy. While other assassins in the Fatui either have tragic backstories or some sad pitiful tale, Childe just laughs at them. His family is still alive and he’s never had any true hardships in his life. He’s pretty disliked for this reason but he’s a skilled enough fighter that it somewhat makes up for it.

Just when Childe’s life is at its peak, is when he slips and falls into the abyss. For the first time, he had to face against a threat and in a situation he has no control over which is completely foreign to him. He barely manages to survive until he’s saved by an unknown figure that goes by the name Skirk. While he’s grateful he’s still alive, facing his mortality for the first time gives him a lot to reflect about. Thus he makes the impulse decision to train under Skirk and grow stronger until he’s able to climb out of the abyss. That’s when he meets you who was travelling with Skirk for the same reasons. Your first interactions with this unknown teen is him challenging you to a fight, just for you to throw him over your shoulder as if he weighed nothing. You expected him to get angry or cry but instead he’s standing right back up and grinning like a psychopath as he asks for another fight. You’re looking at Skirk with the most, are we seriously bringing this child with us? look.

From then on, it’s been the three of you travelling through the floors of the abyss. Skirk tells you the stories of this place, how it used to be a great nation before corruption cause the citizens to be morphed and transformed into monsters. You and Childe learn how to fight alongside Skirk against these monsters until it ends up becoming a competition between you and Childe on who can kill the most monsters. Skirk is a bit worried that when you both are back into the outside world, if he should be worried about how morbid you both might appear. But while you’re both yelling at each other who actually landed the last kill on the regisvine while the hilichurls are cowering in a corner does he just accept that things aren’t going to change. The world will just have to accept it. If you both actually teamed up, and you have before, he thinks you both would be unstoppable but you’re both too stubborn.

Despite your rivalry, Childe still has his big brother instincts that whenever you get hurt he’s huffing over you like a mother hen as he scolds you for being so reckless. You’re ignoring the fact that he’s bleeding out while you have minor cuts because you don’t want a crybaby Childe on your hands. Even the harsh conditions of the Abyss, you both find ways to entertain yourself. Childe always challenges you to a fight every second of the day and he always ends up with a sore back when you knock him off his feet. And he always makes the joke that you’re sweeping him off his feet which ends up with him screaming bloody murder as you charge at him. It doesn’t help when he’s still yelling comments behind his shoulder that you might get mistaken for a gorilla when you’re both outside that Skirk has gotten so used to this that he simply ignores the attempted murder going on behind him.

When you’re both strong enough to climb to the gate of the Abyss, Skirk feels almost like a proud parent. Giving you a head pat and a hard slap to the back for Childe does Skirk wave you both off. You’re trying to mask your tears as Childe grins and promises to see you on the other side, that you’ll definitely meet up in the future no matter what. But when he finally returns to the Fatui, works his way back up to being an assassin, he almost thinks Skirk is laughing at him when he realizes that his first target is you. Not that he’s bothered by it, he'll be happy to see you again and see if he can finally beat you.

Baizhu

Baizhu is the most suspicious doctor in the history of all doctors. Some citizens aren’t even sure if he’s a qualified doctor but alas, he’s very good at his job and is a lot more tolerable compared to the Alchemist Albedo so that’s how he’s been able to keep his job. He works under the Liyue emperor so even if citizens had issues with him, it’s not like they could do anything in the first place. People aren’t sure whether he’s joking or being honest when he explains what he’s been privately working on behind the scenes. From experiments to rituals, they are taken aback but Baizhu just smiles and says he’s just kidding. Being his assistant, you have to constantly reassure others that Baizhu is a bit of a sadist and likes to get a rise out of people. Besides, why would a doctor be so interested in those type of things? It’s incredibly unnerving but no one questions it. They won’t know what to do in the first place if their suspicious are correct.

While Baizhu knows how to do his job, he’s always sending you to do the dirty work. From getting medicinal plants up on the very top of mountains or bringing cranky old men their prescriptions, whenever you’re done one task he’s got three more for you. He could at the very least take the trash out while he’s busy doing nothing. At least the job has a few perks. You’ve always had numerous health issues and while Baizhu’s reputation is a bit on thin ice, you wouldn’t trust anyone else to look you over. He’s a bit weird about it, you’re pretty sure Baizhu will never love another person emotionally but when it comes to the science behind a human body, he’s absolutely smitten. He tries to reassure you that he does care for the wellbeing of Liyue but you wave it off at him trying to butter you up before he asks something ridiculous of you.

You and his snake, Changsheng, do not like each other. You think she’s an annoying and bratty snake that Baizhu needs to throw into a jar to shut up while she thinks you’re a complete nuisance and doesn’t understand why Baizhu keeps you around. Baizhu has tried to get you both to reconcile but it always devolves into a petty argument of back-handed insults until Baizhu has enough and tells you both to quiet down. To be truthful, both of your hatred towards each other stems from two completely different reasons rather than disliking each other’s personality, but you can never bring it up to Baizhu. It’s not a conversation anyone wants to have.

If he has one positive, it’s his adopted daughter Qiqi who is just an absolute sweetheart. She’s shy and prefers to follow after Baizhu and you like a lost duckling. While Baizhu might be the worst boss in this history of all bosses, it makes you grin smugly internally when Qiqi chooses to stay cuddled in your arms instead of his. Qiqi is 95% the reason why you stay in this job, not that Baizhu would ever let you leave, because you’ve genuinely grown fond of someone for the first time the same way she has for you. You bring her along whenever you need to give prescriptions to citizens just so she isn’t stuck in within the same four walls and the locals love her. From her forgetful nature or how she shy’s behind your legs whenever someone new approach's you both. It’s so cute that people tend to ignore the floating rumours that Baizhu is reanimating his previously deceased family.

Relationship Headcanons (HC) (I’m not finish and my dumbass posted it before I could so come back later.)

Oikawa

Okay, anyways

Like i said, he needs constant reassurance and for you to be patient with him. His ex left him because he was so indulged in volleyball. Oikawa is really insecure about his abilities as a setter, especially when he’s compared to Kageyama.

Kageyama is to Oikawa as Voldemort is to Hogwarts, just don’t say his name, avoid it at all costs.
