SPIDERMAN (Flash) vs GREEN GOBLIN (Peter)

This is Flash's last night, Green Goblin (Peter Parker) is in charge of gathering all the enemies to overthrow him once and for all.

This is a sketch, I got a lot down on the idea of @hybridalex17 (sorry for tagging you, If you don't like being tagged, let me know). I loved a drawing of how Peter kidnaps Flash to "punish" him for everything he has done to him.

Although I have my own version, your idea inspired mine. Flash Thompson is a former bully who, thanks to his spider-like powers and many life circumstances, learned to become a better person. But what about his victims? He apologized to all of them, but the apology that was hardest for him to admit was with Peter. Peter used to be his best friend, but Flash pushed him aside and then tortured him day after day at school.

Peter never received an apology from Flash. To make a long story short, Norman Osborn used Peter as a guinea pig. After Peter accidentally activated the Green Goblin gas, he developed abilities that fascinated Norman Osborn. Little by little, Peter Parker becomes the Green Goblin, consumed by hatred, madness, and high doses of gluboline.

I'm imagining a swap-ish episode in your Mutual Bullying AU where Flash is injured (callback to canon) so he & Peter have to switch places which leads to this golden moment

Security guard: Peter Parker?

Flash: Play dumb!

Peter: Who's Peter Parker?

Flash: Not THAT dumb!

Best part is Peter & Flash could swap dialogues & it'd still be in-character XD

I'd argue it'd be even more in-character to swap here. XD

The bigger question is how the security guard knows Peter's name in your scenario. Oscorp guard or something else?

But yeah, their development would prob also cover how to get out of trouble without relying on their area of specialty. Flash has to get smarter and Peter has to do more on-site tactical fighting.

Oh my god! You have no idea how happy I am right now. I'm really sorry for the late reply; I couldn't find the right words to express how I feel about this drawing and each character's lines. It's incredible! I'm blown away—I loved it. It perfectly captures the frustration and pain Peter feels toward Flash. It's simply wonderful, man. I swear it almost made me want to cry. I want to make a fan art of this too, can I? I absolutely loved it! It's freaking amazing… I feel like throwing my computer out of excitement! hahaha.

A piece of fanart I made based on @desert-rotten-soul and his AU with having Flash being Spiderman and Peter being the Green Goblin. An idea I really enjoy. Also, a certain line from Catra from the Shera reboot came to mind. It just seemed to fit. More details about the AU are given on his page. Highly recommend. Best wishes.

Eddie's role in Mutual Bullying

Flash and Eddie here are inverse reflections. Eddie starts out as one of Peter's closest allies and his protector from bullies, but eventually switches roles with Flash and becomes far worse than Flash ever was. Eddie no longer feels needed by Peter because he stood up to his bully when he was at his most dangerous. He convinces himself/gets convinced by the Symbiote that he has to get rid of Flash and the rest of Peter's supports to make Peter dependent on him again. This way, they can both have him.

(I have a whole scene in my head about Flash trying to get Eddie to listen via responsibility speech, like Peter did for him when he needed to be better. Eddie throws it back in his face about Flash is still a bully just pretending to better. Accuses him of mouthing words that he doesn't believe in order to fool someone that he couldn't intimidate. Very tense scene since it hits a little close to home even if it isn't really true anymore because self-doubt.)
