Spooky Day Party

You can do a Costume Party (Spooky Party)  with the Spooky Day pack

OR

You can do a house party and simply dress your sims up in costumes downloaded cc, in-game clothes, put on a costume with seasons holiday tradition, etc.)

Haunted House

With the paranormal stuff pack, haunted houses are a real thing in-game, and you can have your sims visit there. Feel free to take your sims to visit and add some real spooks to your sim’s night! (TEST IN GAME) 

If you don’t have the paranormal stuff pack, you can put a spooky house in game, add a spooky lot trait, and have your sims visit and see what spooks they get. 

Halloween Bake Sale:

A fun idea is having a sim of ours bake some festive treats and sell them at a park or anywhere that they can put a food stand

Can be done with the base game & RVSN’s Salebration retail system mod!

Spooky Day Party:

Crank up the tunes, bring out the booze, and have a spooky party for your sims. Throw up some decorations, bake some festive treats, and rev up the fright night!

Other In-Game Activities You Can Do:

omg  I have been dying to talk about this, but if y'all tuned into the livestream for Lovestruck, did you see when the guy sim said that he finds his partner very unattractive and then proceeded to autonomously flirt with her? I was acc pissed off because that just shows me that once again, sims don't really have feelings or personalities because why are you flirting if you don't like her? It makes me so sad to see how much effort the developers put into making it seem like the sims aren't completely shallow shells. This may just be a personal opinion, but it feels as though nothing matters in the sims 4. There's hardly a consequence for anything, and if there is drama happening, it all happens in pop-up bubbles because sims don't have any variety and will repeat the same three animations. I love that there's going to be a separate category for eyelashes though! And the ability to finally copy features to ALL outfits and add partners in cas FINALLY like, gawd damn. Tbh though the sims 4 hasn't really moved me lately, even with all of this content coming out. How happy am I supposed to be exactly for gameplay that imo should have already been apart of the base game?

it's finally done!! @misa_caliente on the simscord requested this agesss ago, and i've been working on and off on it ever since. have @pierisim's incredible pantry party converted from ts4 to ts2, in 48-item entirety! as a kitchen clutter addict, i am IN LOVE!!

this has honestly been so, so rewarding. all items are either decorational, found under appliances -> misc, or functional shelving, found under surfaces -> misc. you get 43 items of kitchen clutter and 5 new shelves, all with slots thanks to @hugelunatic's awesome slots tutorial! i've included a readme and collection file for ease of browsing the catalogue, but peek below for a very extensive list, plus unedited previews 😃

I'm posting a little late today, but here's today's pose pack. A small formal meal posepack for a couple of sims on a special date.

These are poses I made for my story. I know there are some similar poses out there already, but as always, I wanted to adapt the expressions and body movements to what I needed.

These poses, although they are for a formal meal, have some expressions with serious conversations, but also some laughter in between.

The fresh linen tablecloth had been steamed and pressed. The flowers arranged neatly along the table. Cake stands, with multiple tiers laden with tiny custard tarts and fruits glittering like jewels, were arranged at intervals. Porcelain teapots, steaming with Earl Grey and English Breakfast, sat on sweet little trays. The tea party was ready, and the guests were about to arrive!

OC Deep Dive Questionnaire Tag

thank you @windslar for tagging me! <3 here's 20 questions to get to know better one of my OCs; Edward

What uncommon/common fear do they have? Ed is scared of bugs with wings, I mean..they're pretty unpredictable.

Do they have any pet peeves? Loud.chewing. Yikes!

What are 3 items you can find in their bedroom? His notebook full of random notes he makes throught the day, sleeping pills for his insomnia, and his phone.

What do they notice first in a person? Ed is always looking in people's eyes. Can be kinda awkward sometimes.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how high is their pain tolerance? I would say Ed is pretty good with pain, so about 7!

Do they go into fight or flight mode when under pressure? As he's in the police officer/detective career, he gets confrontational under pressure, no flight for him.

Do they come from a big family/are they a family person? He has one older sister, but he's probably closer with his parents, especially his mom who calls him literally everyday. He's always been a family guy and he's super proud to have one of his own now :')

What animal represents them best? He's a total St. Bernard doggo. Kind and dedicated!

What is a smell that they dislike? He can't stand the hospital/disinfection cleaners smell, it makes him anxious.

Have they broken any bones? Nope!

How would a stranger likely describe them? Handsome cop, duh.

Are they a night owl or a morning bird? Since he's been living with insomnia for a couple years now, he often stays up at night, he kinda got used to it by now.

What is a flavor they hate and a flavor they love? Ed is a big pastry fan, literally any pastry he will devour. He doesn't really like soy based food.

Do they have any hobbies? He's pretty sporty - loves to play basketball, run and swim. Besides that, he likes to journal.

Boom, surprise birthday party! How do they react to surprises? He would obviously be grateful and appreciate the effort, but he's not really big on being the center of attention.

Do they like to wear jewelry? Not anything besides his wedding ring.

Do they have neat or messy handwriting? He has quiteee a messy handwriting.

What are two emotions they feel the most? Calmness and gratitude for sure!

Do they have a favorite fabric? Jo will always thirft the best linen shirts for him, linen all the way.

What kind of accent do they have? He spent his whole life in Newcrest, which in my TS4 realm would be kind of like the New Orleans suburbs (Willow Creek being based on New Orleans) - as his parents were both born and raised in Willow Creek and moved to Newcrest once they got married, the whole family has quite a strong New Orleans accent on them.

Did a marathon play session of TS4 on New Year's Eve, lasting into the wee hours, and got Willow Creek through what remained of her childhood and up to being a teen.

There was lots of family activities as she worked her way through all the different childhood aspirations; she managed to finish all but one of them. Willow didn't have enough time to host a second slumber party, but otherwise got everything else in the Slumber Party Animal aspiration completed.

Jaxson and Leigh aged up at last from Young Adult to Adult; Jaxson could technically have remained a YA a week or so longer, but I had Leigh add a second set of birthday candles to her cake and aged him up along with her instead.

Willow managed to befriend both of the Dads (in her case, technically the Grand-Dads) as well as several children her age. She's gotten really active, and like both her parents before her is also several shades of genius already (all those toddler skills and childhood aspirations have added up to a fair number of awarded and purchased traits for her already).

Leigh finally managed to finish off the Culinary aspiration, and moved on to wanting to be fabulously wealthy. After comparing her daily wage to Jaxson's (which was quite a few times what she was making) she threw in her apron and mixing bowl, and switched over to the astronaut career as well. Though since she now has the ability to make food that never spoils, she's still doing almost all of the cooking for the household. I figure when Willow eventually moves out, she'll probably raid the fridge first ;)

Willow gained her first fame point the moment she aged up to teen, and immediately returned it with a firm No Thank You. Between her father and her dad's dads (and one grandfather's still-living grandmother), she's related to four world renowned celebrities, plus she has a mom who is rocketing her way up the ladder of fame too, and Willow does NOT want to be famous as well. She's real damn tired of paparazzi popping out of the woodwork (and the bushes), and the creepy way people react to the presence of her dad and the Dads (and Gramma Ocean). Okay so some of that is possibly also because the Dads are also both vampires, but yeah. Fame is not an interest for her.

I am very much looking forward to the point where she leaves home and goes off to be a reclusive rancher. Like the last few generations of this family, it may well happen while she's still a teenager.
