       Greetings everyone! I’m thrilled for this release, since it’s my very first CC that sees the world! I very much hope you’ll like it!        Huge thank you to SchrodCat for collabing with me! It was a really fun project, with a plethora of new things learned. I'm happy to say that more wonderful collabs are coming! ♡        I chose to hold back from making the colours more saturated and vibrant in order to preserve a more realistic feel of the nylon & neoprene materials. I also weighed in the fact that most users use reshade, which often increases both saturation and contrast of the game, resulting in more vivid colours.        I’m also planning to release a slightly different texture for this bareback pad as well, with even more swatches. Royal Horses

@morningstarequestrian's new Baroque Tack Set is absolutely perfect for tacking up the horses from my story save. (which I've been neglecting for the past year+) (Other pieces are from the Medieval Tack Set or the Medieval Round Bridle. The first outfits are from @objuct's Traditional Arabian Set, plus one of my recolors of that set.)

(also obligatory tagging @simgerale because Phillip pics.)

The first two outfits are something I could see being like, a parade outfit, at least for Alena. (Kristopher wouldn't be involved in any parades back in Oryn, I just wanted to test out all my cc.) Especially the version with the tassels isn't practical for just recreational riding, but it certainly looks nice for a parade, and does resemble parade-type outfits.

Alena's 2nd-3rd outfits and Phillip's 2nd-4th outfits are just more general-purpose riding. Two different saddles each and a few different saddle pads for Phillip.

Phillip's 5th outfit and Alena's 4th and 5th are potentially more of long-distance setups. Maybe like some kind of tour, where Fallon would be riding for long distances, but still want to look formal / be seen by people. (Again, not really something Kristopher and Phillip would have been doing, but it looked good on him and I wanted to test stuff out.) Alena has a second variation because technically white isn't one of Anvia's royal colors, but black is, so if it was a public event, she might tack in black. Especially as that would show less wear and dirt than the white for long travel.

The last pic is a blanket for Phillip because it gets cold in Oryn, especially in the winter and late fall/early spring. Alena doesn't really need a blanket most of the time, since Anvia's winters are much milder. (They don't often get snow, and when they do it's rarely more than an inch or two at a time.)

Bridles! Bridles aplenty!

Schrodcat (who is now operating on Patreon and is showing more previews there if you're so inclined to check them out for more!) has been doing some heavylifting whilst I work on the SSO hair by doing weighting passes on the gargantuan set of bridles & bits we have (this is only a fraction of them!)

They still need textures (either missing or just in need of tweaking) and deformation UVs still, but it's cool to see them all in action after weeks of planning!

✨Bright Basics English Saddlepad Set

FINALLY releasing these after agonizing over how to take in-game photos 😭 I'll have to add more photos eventually (this one was taken in CAS) because the ones I have now don't do them justice.

This set features an all-purpose English/hunter saddlepad with braided trim in 8 bright candy colors (including white). The pad itself was actually loosely inspired by an Ovation saddlepad I owned as a small child 🤣

This set comes in 2 fit options: The classic EA fit and a more realistic fit designed to work with @walnuthillfarm's repositioned saddle.

Eventing Breeders Trophy: Leg 7 feat. Sadie & R&DR Elfenbeinschloss; Morgan & BSH Freckle Foot Shindig; Jill & ASA Süßes Gift

We're nearing the end of the Eventing Breeders Association yearly eventing run, but we have been determined to catch up to some of the more advanced horses in the club while we still have the chance. This time, during Leg 7, we brought back some of our best competitors to take home more glory. Returning are Sadie Harken riding Castle (our grey Anglo-Arabian mare), Morgan Deacon-Bell riding Stevie (our dark bay Anglo-Arabian mare), and Jill Gilmore riding Sicarelle (our chestnut appaloosa Araloosa mare). All of our riders and our horses did their best and competed fabulously, as that is nothing short of Roan & Dapple Ranch standard. Once again, we're so blown away by the talent, drive, and love that this team - both human and horse - have for one another and the sport. Soon it will be 2025, and that will bring a whole new set of challenges and hurdles to our ranch, but we'll be tackling it the same as we always do.

Another sneak-preview into my next creation...

Ok, I obviously love to torture myself xD Because I only just finished those riding Breeches and mentioned how it nearly killed me/caused me all sorts of pain and a pretty bad flare up of my fibromyalgia. But I guess I can't help myself, that urge to create is overwhelming right now lol.

So here we go again, yall. This time it is a saddle pad collection. I am in love with Royal Equestrian Co's beautiful saddle pads (who doesn't love a uber-cute crown pattern on their saddle pads!?) :D I have no idea when these will be finished but I am going to make an attempt to make some color combos to match with the full-seat breeches I just posted yesterday (Of course, us Equestrians LOVE everything matchy-matchy!) ^_^;

Owning a horse isn't all "mount up and ride into the sunset;" Smoke takes a lot of care. Dove has to muck out his stall, curry him, and clean his hooves before she can put on his tack and ride him.

Once he's all taken care of, she urges him toward the beginner's jump in the back acreage. They've gotten a decent start toward barrel racing, but she'd like to be able to endurance race with him as well.

The All Purpose Collection!

This set includes four CAS items for your sims 4 horses:

Accessory half pad

Half pad combined with an all-purpose saddle pad

Polo wraps (front only and all four leg versions)

Standing wraps

The half pad is an accessory that can be found in the hat slot and is designed to work with SchrodCat's saddles. It can be combined with any realistically fit saddle pad of your choosing!

The standing wraps come in 25 colorful swatches. Ideal for support after exercise, trailering, or soft tissue injuries.

The saddle pad combines an all-purpose saddle pad and half pad in 24 swatches. Also a realistic fit, this pad works with all real fit saddles.

The polo wraps come in 30 swatches and are available for all four legs and the front only.

Issues:

...the bad news is that the weight painting isn't perfect. The breastplate clips into the horse/deforms weirdly in some poses, especially poses where the horses head is down low. The position of the breastplate crosses from the neck down to the shoulder and chest, and it's hard to make the mesh move nicely with all these parts on both sides 😭.

This is a good as I can get, but it looks okay with 90% of in game animations, and most English-style/jumping poses.

UPDATE 28/08:

Apologies for giving all the ponies haircuts - I've updated the mesh to NOT remove the forelock when equipped. Please re-download if you don't want bald horses 💀

Horse and the Bard

That's the title of my new band. 😌🤣

Two posepacks in one week! I don't normally make poses that are pack-specific, but I can't deny that posing with the new Horse Ranch horses is so much easier than using the deco horses and tack. This is a pose set that I had in mind for a while, but wanted to wait until horses were available to make it. Just place two teleporters in the same spot.
