Finished these two heads recreation from The Sims Unleashed, and currently working on recreating Betty Newbie head

So, I got slightly bored, and was trying to work on a personal headshot... that's when I wondered how would sims look ran through an AI program? So that's what I did! I ran all of the TS1 console sims through a photo editor, and here are the results! These are all of the sims from Play the Sims mode. Bonus: Fran Foofaraw from Get a Life!

brandi was just born in the newbie household recently! i had to keep cheating by deleting bob and betty so that their needs would reset bc taking care of babies is almost impossible in this game when both sims have careers

and since their house was so small, it deserved an expansion so that their daughter has a place to sleep

of course they're always broke and i had to wait a couple days to afford everything i was hoping i could change brandi's clothes, but whenever i use the dresser it's only the green one and i don't think you can shop for clothes in ts1,, for a few days brandi was basically doing nothing except studying from the personality bookcase so that i could make her personality accurate to sims 2 as well (she spawned with 0 points in every scale)

when you play ts1 premades, do you have brandi be born in-game or do you imagine that she's older and left already? (the lore doesn't exactly line up with the later games since ts1 was the first and they weren't expecting there to be lore)

hey! i think that brandi should be a bit older than cas by a couple of years in the lore, which makes sense cause she already has dustin, a teenager, at the start of ts2. and cassandra is the youngest ts1 kid to me. i personally headcanon that brandi used to study at the boarding school at some point in her life, since CPS was breathing down on the newbies' necks due to their shitty financial situation, so they temporarily put her there, while they were improving their living conditions, which explains her absence in ts1.

as for the game itself, i just straight up go with the flow and make the newbies birth her at some point, it's not like the ts1 premades can grow old anyway.

Round 6 - Newbies

To celebrate Betty's promotion further down the Politician ladder, the family organised a small dinner between closest households: them, Goths and Roomies. Later the same evening, Mortimer quietly revealed to the new City Council that the timelessness influence is expanding, and soon several other regions in this world are going to be affected. And although Betty was initially supporting the idea of eternal life, she changed her opinion and started to agree with her husband and Mortimer.

Bob had this idea of spending their weekend in the forest camp near the sites where he has been working all this time as a ranger. He thought this experience would be very good for the kids. As soon as cabins and entertainment spots were prepared, he proposed going there. Betty accepted, but only with the condition that they were going to sleep somewhere warn and under the roof, with working showers and such.

They also burned their breakfast, distracted by this talk and their rekindling romance.

Children took their lessons about the great outdoors to hearts, it seems. Everybody had a great time, played games and explored around.

-Wow, mom! I didn't know you could use bows! - Brandon was very impressed when he saw Betty shooting away at targets. - I didn't know, either! - Betty replied. - But feels like I do enjoy unusual activities once in a while.

@freezerbunny-sims2's post about Cassandra Goth's quotes from SimGolf (which I also dislike) reminds me that there was, technically, canon portrayals of how these SimLane Sims spoke.

Love that Bella seemed like your typical upbeat classy neighbor lady while Mortimer was a moody, gloomy dude, and Bob was the kind of people to call others 'sport'. And how they make fun of each others' homes is pretty funny considering they lived next to each other lol.

I'm gonna find SimGolf again to see more of this stuff.

Hi! Can I ask you about the New Pleasantview project? You and plumbtales had done an amazing job so far and I am really excited for it right now! I really love how you recreated TS1 Old Town vibes, using TS2 tools. So my questions are: 1) Is it going to be a fully CC-free neighborhood? 2) Are you planning to return the TS1 families who weren't originally included in the sequel like the Roomies girls, the Mashugas, the Hicks, etc? Or is it going to be just a shell-neighborhood, without the sims whatsoever? Feel free to ignore my questions. I am just so eager right now! As a TS1 fan I'm looking forward for your project since it's the Pleasantview I've been looking for ages.

Hi, thank you for your questions. I am happy to answer.

Yes, it will be completely CC free. We don't want to boggle anyone's systems down with things we like when many have CC of their own that they like. There are also people who prefer to play vanilla so, CC free is best. Users can modify the hood to their liking once they download it. I may include an empty hood option if there is interest for that. I will do a poll asking about that as we get closer to posting it.

Sadly, not all characters can come back as 25 years have passed, and many have passed away, according to the sims 2 lore, but there will be a select few that will make a return. I don't want to give away too much as far as who will be back, but I did do a poll recently and the Newbies won, so they will be back as elders because their daughter Brandy is an adult.

Dunno if anyone else does this but instead of making original Sims (which I find hard and overwhelming to do) to populate the worlds in my game, I find Sims from TS1, 2 & 3 and Urbz games on the gallery, make them over and use them and honestly...

Imo it makes playing my game WAYYYY more fun! It also just makes my game feel like a continuation of the previous games.

A couple examples

Bob & Betty Newbie live in Evergreen Harbor & their daughter Brandy Broke + 2 out of her 3 kids live with them (Darren lives with his gf Angela Pleasant & her sister Lilith). I imagine after Skip died Brandy needed help rasing the kids so she moved back in with her parents.

Claire Charming and her doggo live in an apartment in the spice district in SanMy and she works as a nurse at the hospital.

Ma Hick (who I renamed Mabel) and her son Elden live in a small house in Newcrest with their pets. Mabel is retired and Elden is a mechanic.

Sylvia Marie Mashuga and her husband Frankie live in a shotgun style house in Willow Creek and I gave them a bulldog named Boris (named after Boris Johnson, one of our (Britains) many shitty former prime ministers).

The Riffin siblings who lost their parents were adopted by Brent & Brant Hecking and live with them in Brindleton Bay. Brent & Brant wanted to start a family and adopted all 3 siblings so they could stay together. As a result of no longer being the sole provider for his siblings Calvin is now able to focus on himself and he is now attending university!

HEEY I AM BACK. I wanted to make a TS2 fanfic (mainly based on Pleasantview) but it got very weird and complicated. Also, my headcanons and opinions about the premades differ so much from the fandom ones, and are really crazy. I kid you not:

I take some part of TS4 lore as canon. Especially Johnny Zest and the Villareals existence because they are very cool and the only interesting premades in TS4 (and I want Jacques Villareal to meet Olive Specter, they would be great friends)

I really love the Brokes, and sorry not sorry, I ship Brandi with Gordon King. She gives me "I can fix him" energy.

Kaylynn deserved better. Cassandra deserved better. Mary Sue deserved better. The Calientes deserved better. Fuck Don Lothario and Daniel Pleasant.

Mom from Bustin Out is Brandi Broke's aunt (Bob Newbie's little sister).

I hate Mortimer Goth. In TS1 he was okay, but Maxis did him really dirty in TS2. I mean, he forgot about Bella and wants to marry a woman who is younger than him. Why?

I don't like Bella Goth's mystery anymore. I think some people are so blinded by nostalgia that refuse to aknowledge that there are some interesting lore in other families across all the sims games (By that I mean Veronaville's lore, the Landgraab's lore, TS3 Riverview's families!!)

I don't like Malcolm Landgraab IV, but I hate how the fandom forgets about him??? He was the first playable Landgraab in the main PC games and most people pretend he didn't exist (I headcanon him as a cousin of the Malcolm from Bustin Out)

And that said, the Malcolm Landgraab from Bustin Out, TS3 AND TS4 are the same person. At least that is my headcanon and interpretation.

My other interpretation about the Landgraabs: Dudley and Johnny Zest are NOT the same person. Johnny is Dudley and Mimi's uncle, and Malcolm's older brother.

There are more, but my fingers hurt.

TS1 Newbie Renovation!

I am recreating some TS1 & TS2 sims to create a brand new world & this was my first project!

I took the base from TS1 & renovated it for their life as parents with Brandi.  Now their daughter has moved out to create a family of her own, & they are officially empty nesters!
