This is less of a renovation, more of a bulldoze and rebuild! This house is for the Newbie family.

This is Bob's room. Bob and Betty planned on turning this room into a nursery, but Bob still hasn't got round to clearing it out and redecorating. Instead, most Saturday evenings he invites his next door neighbour (Bob Pancakes) round to play video games.

brandi was just born in the newbie household recently! i had to keep cheating by deleting bob and betty so that their needs would reset bc taking care of babies is almost impossible in this game when both sims have careers

and since their house was so small, it deserved an expansion so that their daughter has a place to sleep

of course they're always broke and i had to wait a couple days to afford everything i was hoping i could change brandi's clothes, but whenever i use the dresser it's only the green one and i don't think you can shop for clothes in ts1,, for a few days brandi was basically doing nothing except studying from the personality bookcase so that i could make her personality accurate to sims 2 as well (she spawned with 0 points in every scale)

are there any sonic fics you’d recommend?

sonic is a weird fic fandom for me bc my go to for narrative with those characters is just the comics, yknow? and in my experience the fandom’s strong suits are more in the fanart-fancomic realm so i’m very nitpicky about sonic fics i would actually recommend. my ‘best of sonic’ bookmark tag is a VERY exclusive club.

that being said fifteen of the twenty bookmarks are by chaoxfix so just read all of their work. it’s stunning. particular fave is the big the cat one

other standouts include hikareh’s stuff (especially the knuckles in forces one. look i’m predictable)

aaphant also has some incredible knuckles stuff

Speedy1236 has some of the best team sonic content i’ve EVER seen so like start here and go wild

if you’re interested in highly specific archie fics about various robots i’m obsessed with here you go <- last one is cheating (i wrote that)

The First Shadow, Stranger Things Play in 2023 with canon material, will delve into the Creel family further, specifically Henry Creel. Therefore, we will find out more about pre-Creel house and why everything happened. What happened before the move? What are their family dynamics like? What happened to Henry in the past? What happened that is almost haunting the family and what are the “shadows of the past”?

Also, more of a backstory on a younger Joyce and Hopper, perhaps more Bob Newby too.

So this will answer key questions for the end of Stranger Things with new canon material. Additionally, we will find out what secrets haunt the Creel family and the significance of this to the story.

The gorgeous and outgoing newcomer Yamase Kazuma (NAGUMO SHOMA) is coming on strong yet running hot and cold.

Asami (KOMAGINE KIITA) is working out his feelings while seething beneath the surface.

What awaits this newly forming triangle?

Does Yuki feelings for Asami hold strong? Or is the shiny new hunk on the scene competition? Or perhaps just a catalyst for Asami to realize he's falling for Yuki?

New episode!! If this family doesn’t look familiar to you that’s okay- this is Tutorial Joe and Tutorial Jane Newbie (originally Sim) from the Tutorial! In Pleasant-NEW Joe is Brandi’s slightly younger brother. Joe is originally a Fortune sim (now Family) and Jane is originally a Knowledge sim (now Fortune/Pleasure).

This is also the longest episode we’ve done, woo! I really enjoyed playing this family. Let me know what you think!

Tried to make the elder versions of the Newbies, Burbs, and Pleasants. I've always wondered what other people's personal canons were on them, since they've all passed away in TS2.

I've always imagined Bob and Betty went on to live in a retirement home after selling their house in SimLane, because Bob's health rather deteriorated and Betty was just stressed out. Her relationship with Brandi was always challenging because her own mother was tough on her, and she was concerned about Brandi marrying Skip as much as they liked him. Bob died first, and later on, Dustin was born around the same time as Betty's death of a stroke. Shame they never got to meet their grandkids.

For the Burbs, Brad always seemed older and he died after John and Jennifer got engaged. I'm happy to see that Tiffany lived to meet Lucy, as I imagine she'd be pretty old by then. I imagine her as a chainsmoking and sharp-tongued grandma. I like the Early Pleasantview canon of her, moving to the city again and all that.

Jeff and Diane Pleasant, too, apparently lived to see Angela and Lilith. But I imagine they'd be kind of distant to the grandkids. Jeff seemed to be tanner, so I guess they retired in a warmer climate. They died around the same time, but I dunno who'd go first--probably Jeff from his disappointment of not being able to go to Mars.
