*slaps forehead* Why has it taken me nearly 4 years to realize Patton used Just Like Heaven because he unconsciously compared it to Thomas and Remus?

The movie is literally about a man trying to ignore his problems (the ‘ghost’) until she goes away and it just keeps getting worse, but in fact she stops being a ‘problem’ when he finally starts to talk to and listen to her. Like Thomas and Remus they *gestures to all of them* they are the SAME

Tbh i think the reason some Remus angst doesn’t stick right with me is the fact they sometimes make Remus act out of character. But we all really want Remus to have some emotional depth to him so what lol?. I think the reality we have to face is the fact that…Remus doesn’t have emotional depth ha. I think “accepting Remus” would be Thomas just having to accept Remus is here to stay and there’s just…nothing he can do lol.

when i was in year eight, i vividly remember cosplaying tss (mostly remus and patton) with my then-girlfriend, running around school whilst quoting forbidden fruit, and roleplaying over instagram. it was a massive cringe fest, but i was having fun!

tomorrow, im offically entering college, my ex-girlfriend now my best friend and my gender transed. the finale has not come out. i have gone through several breakups, moved house, transitioned, became pagan, realised i was autistic with adhd, entered college and so much more since the last tss episode. the finale has not come out. its been three and a half years sanders. we're sick of waiting.

I just realized/remembered that I kinda predicted Remus. Basically a year or so before Remus’s first appearance I had decided to make my own sides, and I was like ok obviously they’re going to be different than Thomas’s because we’re different people. so I had logic, intelligence, creativity, a few others I don’t remember, and one that was my mental illness/intrusive thoughts. who was messy, and chaotic, and silly. anyway this was before I figured out I was trans and her name was Barbra and she wore badly but on lipstick and a hoodie.

I wrote this old theory back in August 2020 after Redux came out. At the time I was collecting my thoughts of what was being shown to us and coming to some conclusions on what might be foreshadowing for future episodes.

CW: Unsympathetic Janus (I’m not very nice to him in this theory, just a heads up) my reasoning is that I still think Thomas sees him as a cunning ‘villain’ type because of his ‘black and white’ thinking. There is still a lot unresolved with Janus and I know he’s manipulating the Core 4 but to what end we still don’t know…

What do you think about rewatching the earlier episodes. Im thinking of doing it but im scared il end up not liking it or that it benefits ts in a way.

Also I know you talked about when people started feeling it got bad, and I realise im an outlier being this early but I didnt like it once the new sides started appearing like remus. I think its because it upped in produktion Value at that point i remember it being fun when we saw the sides room now and again but once it was constant i really missed the homemade vibes.

i have.. a complicated relationship with the older videos. on one hand, im deeply nostalgic for sanders sides, and the older videos bring that out the most. it really did seem like a silly passion project thomas had, and something he used as a way to deal with his issues - like you said, homemade vibes!

on the other hand, it feels like looking back on good times with an ex partner youre on bad terms with. sure, its nice to remember when everything felt amazing, but it just reminds you of how bad things are now.. i cant look at old sasi without "this show isnt good anymore" at the forefront of my mind. plus the comments along the lines it being two weeks or so since thomas posted... some things age better than others

there was a point i was going through some old saved edits on instagram, and a particular edit of patton in are there healthy distractions prompted me to watch it, and i enjoyed it briefly! but rewatching the whole series would be too much of an emotional rollercoaster for me tbh

also reminded for all that remus' introduction was only two main episodes ago... and dwit is over 4 years old
