I’m so hopeful for this month!! I took an ovulation test last week it was POSITIVE!!! Since I have notice my breast are starting to get sore. Today I noticed more trips to the bathroom. I’ve had som discomfort in my lower abdomen. Which are all symptoms I had when I was pregnant last time. Now I’m just impatiently waiting till I can test!!

So we scheduled the Semen Analysis on Monday. We would have done it sooner but C couldnt get off work earlier and this way I get to go be supportive! Lol C is worried about it, he says it’s going to be awkward which I’m sure it is but hey it’ll be worth it in the end, besides I’m sure women have to endure way more awkward moments during this process!

C and I have decided to try the ovulation induction. But before I spend all of my hsa money on it C is going to have a semen analysis. I would rather him get checked and be good to go than to think he’s good and do it and waste time and money. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 everything is good on his end.

C went and got the semen analysis test, they told us they would have the results in two days.

One thing I never understand is, they say if it’s normal we won’t call you and if it’s not we will call you. How about you call either way cause I’m trying to make a baby over here ..

Anyway I’m praying it’s all good so we can start our first round

In order for my insurance to process claims properly I have to enroll in this fertility program, so I’m thinking okay I’ll call when I’m ready to start and we will be good to go. I called yesterday and they told me once I talk with the nurse I will be considered enrolled. The next availability for the nurse is in 2 weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️ so now I have to wait till next Wednesday to start the provera so I don’t waste a cycle. Ugh I should have called them sooner but it’ll be alright.

So I think my ovulation kit has some shitty opks in them! I had a rise in LH on Tuesday but according to the opk not enough to be positive.

Hubby and I did the do anyways. Now I’m feeling aching and crampy in my lower abdomen. And on top of that my breast have been getting sore. So we will see I guess!

TO be honest

I really don’t want tot do this whole period thing again! I’ll give you a run down. Day 1 and 2 were pretty light minimal cramps if any. Day 3 and 4 heavy as F**k and cramps from hell! Day 5 slowing down a bit not very many cramps. Pretty sure this is going to last a couple more days which is a bummer. I’m going to start opk testing Day 8 or 9. Which is a little early but I’d rather be early testing and ovulate later then ovulate early and miss it. Fingers crossed this is our month!

CD19

EWCM today and my LH is rising more!! Come on ovulation!! Hubby better get ready to BD a lot cause my body is getting ready!!

Took my last pill of Provera last night. Now I wait. My doctor says it could take up to two weeks for AF to show up but from what I read women that have not had a cycle for a while it can come as soon as 2-3 days after the last pill. The sooner the better I think, fingers crossed this all works!! I would love to start ovulating soon so we can get back to trying for a baby! I already got my new ovulation kit, since I ran out of my last one.

Dr visit

Yesterday I went to see my obgyn since I haven’t had a cycle since April and I’m due for my yearly check up. He said that I haven’t been ovulating and prescribed me Provera 10mg for 5 days to bring on my period and hopefully reset my body’s natural cycle.

Has anyone had experience with this? Was it helpful or a waste of time?

Mother’s Day

I’m taking today really hard. I had a baby I was a mommy and I lost it. I have about 6 people that are pregnant that I’m friends with and it is extremely hard watching them announce their pregnancy and the gender of their baby. It was supposed to be my turn to bring a child into the world and now I get to cry on Mother’s Day cause I lost my baby. This is so much harder than what anyone ever makes it out to be.

CD2

Well turns out my hopefull thinking was wrong, yesterday was just a peaceful start to AF. So now we start the process all over again. Hopefully we can conceive in April and get us a December baby. Wishing this process wasn’t so difficult!

CD9 and 11weeks post miscarriage.

Feeling good today. I was really tired this morning cause I didn’t sleep well last night. Between the hubby laying smack dab in the middle of the bed and the room getting hot half way through the night, I’m surprised I got any sleep at all.

Went ahead and took an opk today. Honestly I know I’m not ovulating but I wanna make sure that I do have some hormones to ovulate. I have had irregular periods before and I want to make sure they won’t do that again. I’d hate to be trying to conceive with out ovulating at all.

11 weeks post miscarriage and honestly I’m doing better than I expected. I can openly talk about it without getting choked up and teary eyed.

My brother is 10 and he spent the night at our house this past weekend and we are eating lunch and watching tv and he looks at me and says “ Are you having another baby yet?” He’s been asking periodically for the past month. And I told him no not yet. Him not know how getting pregnant works is the most adorable thing ever. He said “when are you going to be pregnant “ I told him I wasn’t sure and he said “in like 2 days are you going to be pregnant “ I couldn’t help but laughe and tell him it didn’t work like that but I will let him know as soon as I am. I can’t wait to get to tell him that I’m having a baby. Just have to get pregnant now!

So I’ve decided I’ve gotten a false positive. I don’t feel pregnant and I haven’t been able to get another positive since. Ttc really fucking sucks!

Update..

So I know I’ve kinda taken a break. Just with life in general I’ve been a little busy. So I’m really hoping we are pregnant at the moment. I missed 1 day of opk testing which just happenes to be the day I “should” have gotten a peak. If we are we would be about 4w3d but I’m not 100% sure on it at this point. I took a test yesterday evening which I thought had a line on it which led me to buy a clear blue and take it this morning. The test from this morning had a faint line and after taking a picture and putting it black and white you could really see it. I plan on giving it a few days and testing again. 🤞🏻this is it. We will be going to Alabama in 8 days and I would love to take announcement pictures while we are at the beach. Last time it took 4w5d to figure out I was pregnant so maybe I just need 2 more days!? Lol I’ll post the picture for y’all to put your input!
