The rest of my day went better. After lunch it was 125 and after dinner it was 138 so all under the goal of 140. Tomorrow I’m going to have the same thing for breakfast to see if I get the same results. Also I’m up to 14 on my insulin, im hoping I’ll be under 100 in the morning.

After looking at all my foods for dinner, I did good with my balance. My sugar was 138 after an hour and this morning my fasting was 108. Still higher than 100 but the lowest I’ve had. Needless to say I was excited. Then breakfast came along, I had an egg and cheese omelette, and 2 pieces of toast with butter. My carbs was 29g and protein was 19g. Which the goal they gave me was 30g of carbs for breakfast. Let me tell you I have not felt this defeated in a while! My 1 hour sugar came back 201. When it supposed to be under 140. I texted the dietitian all my info, and she asked questions that made me repeat myself which was frustrating. Then told me what I should do, which makes no difference then what I am already doing. Then told me the test could be inaccurate and to test again in 10 minutes, which was 155. 😒 I wish I was told that prior to the breakdown in tears. Honestly I would rather be puking my guts up then dealing with this.. but I have to remember it’s all gonna be worth it.
