worst way to start my new year, thanks. i have a lot of things to say about these companies but i'm tired and just keeping it focused to the pin side of things for this one. do not ever buy pins from these companies, literally ALL of them are stolen from small artists like me. if you want to buy enamel pins, check out etsy, and artist's personal websites and shops! (though even Etsy has some bootleg pins that ship straight from china, so tread carefully…)

Every pin I've designed is, thus far, EXCLUSIVE to my etsy. if you find it anywhere else, it's been ripped off! and once these stupid bootlegs pop up, it's basically a never ending game of whack-a-mole trying to get them all taken down...

This idea’s been giving me brainworms for a couple days now, so here we have:

Seal Haru

Matsealokas, which is a pun I’m inordinately proud of and will not shut up about

Rei’s first encounter with a selkie, an event which he will convince himself was a dream for a few years

The nice thing about selkies is that their animal forms are very easy to draw. Seals are extremely Shape.

. appearance: A larger-than-normal Seawing with scars on his face and silver rings. He's very strong, bulky body showing his strength with a torn barbel on his chin. He has a silver hoop earring with a pink pearl on it and the royal Seawing patterns under his wings. His scale colors are similar to Albatross, hence his association with the old Animus.

. job: ? (undecided)

. family: Albatross (distant uncle) , Queen Coral (mother) , Gill (father) , Tsunami (sister) , Anemone (sister) , Auklet (sister) , a lot of brothers .. and the rest of the royal Seawing family

. personality: Living true to his name, he's perceived to be rude, brute — a bit of a threat to the Seawings despite being one himself, but really he's not all that mean, just a bit intolerant.

. extra info: he was one of Tsunamis brothers she met first, much to Queen Corals dismay, but they talked when they could while Tsunami stayed with the Seawings. He's not that big into jewelry, but he does have some, and is considering getting some kind of weapon to put on his tail.
