We’ve entered the air conditioning and heat pump market. The tools weren’t cheap! Our first service was pretty rough. The system hadn’t been serviced in a long time or installed right to begin with. We still have some issues to address but figured we should limit the repairs to a few at a time for such an old AC. We’re all about high effiency but that’s not everything in home performance. Having durability and proper operation of an hvac system is important even if it’s an older low effiency unit. In this case we did a really good cleaning, fixed a non-draining issue that dates back to when the system was first installed, then we commissioned the system using advanced tools. We couldn’t dial it in perfectly due to undersized ductwork and mechanical damage of the outdoor condenser. I’d say we did pretty swell considering all that. The most important thing is the system will now properly dehumidify the home instead of creating an indoor air quality hazard. This particular home has been difficult but the homeowners have been gracious considering the condition of the mechanicals. h10 pro died

Hey guys, I have an h10 pro leak detector from trutechtools. Its 17 months old. Its not sucking any air up the probe. I replaced the red indicator ball, also a new air filter. But the ball still wont float/ pop up once i put my finger over the probe as the instruction describes to do as a test. I understand **** happens. But im a little annoyed after dropping $500 plus dollars. I had to pull out my inficon Tek mate leak detector that is about 9 years old. Still with the same sensor from the day i purchased it. Cost me about $150. Does anybody have a ball park price on what bacharach will charge me to replace the airflow pump and put a new sensor? Im thinking for a little more i can buy a new detector.
