In a world with a different setting id be a prophet or a person with cool visions, id be a person worthy of protection and trust and friendship. Here im just paranoid and i worry about the wrong things. Somewhere else when i dance on my way to a shop everyone thinks im full of joy and whimsy and they dont think im drunk or childish. They want a full ban of abortion. All they want to do to "illegal immigrants." The list goes on.

And btw, much as it seems to be chauvinistic... yeah, the USA holds a lot of international power. Like a lot. I mean youd think thats obvious when 99% of the world wants the genocide in genocide to end-- but since the USA refuses to, no one else will/can step in.

The USA also has the strongest military in the world as well, which doesn't seem like a great idea to place in the hands of rabid fascists.

all the lestappies are up in arms about this lando situation and rightly so. the side eye max was giving on the podium....(i'd be pissed if my so called friend did this on national tv but max is a bigger person than me). i was happy for lando's first win but with his antics yesterday and what he's been saying the last couple of weeks, not to mention the trump thing he's on think fucking ice again. max gave him grace and nothing but praise for his race win, shutting down the implication that the sc gave him the win and he repays it like this. our humble kings focused on themselves and how they can improve could never behave like this. lando has short man inferiority syndrome change my mind

Nahh the podium was crazy, it's not about being friends at all, its about having respect for your colleague.

Max looking at him for a while then tilting his head down and George's judging face? He knew something was not right, but Lando just kept smiling so big which is, not really nice in my opinion.

that would all be on congress. the president could request legislation but that wont for sure go through and seems less likely when states are actively adopting the anti trans laws. i fear a lot more for my life and loved ones under trump than harris and imo it is a privilege or misconception to see it as all the same. i was very hopeful for harris and am p terrified about the future state of things but we well do our best ig but i think harris had a lot of hope with her campaign and im p devastated. i left a state with many antitrans laws already for my safety and it took me a year to recover from the burnout and depression and financial struggle of moving out of state and im still extremely worried for my friends still in florida.

heyo! I have a couple questions, I hope its alright. I am a minor and am old enough to get HRT for T with parental consent. My parents have said a lot of times they will accept me if I decide I want to be called a different gender, but I haven’t yet come out. I’m wondering, how should I go about it? I shouldn’t be worried but I really am, I keep getting too nervous to come out. Another question is about going on T. I’ve studied the effects and most of them seem like things I’d like, but idk, how do I know it is what I really want and how do I talk to my parents about it? I’m really worried I might regret it in the future. Would it even be worth it trying with Trump getting elected? I live in south NY which is pretty blue but I am not really that well versed in politics so I’m jot sure…

ok so first of all. coming out to your parents is super individual, you need to prioritize your safety and what you want the outcome to be plus how realistic it is. do not jump the gun on hrt, not because you might regret it but because they will need time to adjust to what you being trans means and you likely wont immediately start hormones.

second of all, its a long and hard conversation. look into all the effects, not just blogs but medical stuff. write down what yoh want and what youre afraid of. get an appointment at a gender healthcare clinic and talk about that with a professional, but also with your parents if it comes to that. but remember that it is difficult to be the parent of any kid, and any change is rough. they might feel like youre changing, you’re growing up, and its scary for them. try to keep your connection and make it clear you’re open to talk and theyre not losing you. i know we all want our parents to not just accept but understand us in a heartbeat, but i dont want to break anyones heart by setting that expectation. give them time and talk to them. in theory can be different from when it really happens, especially with medical stuff. but it sounds like you hit the jackpot with them so far

then my last bit; fuck trump and his presidency. he hasnt done shit yet, its no reason to behave differently. if we were gay during the reagan administration, before queer people had what we have today, we will be ok. we’ll cary on and all that emo stuff.
