It's not just Democrats pointing out that Trump is mentally unfit.
More than 100 ex-Republican officials call Trump ‘unfit to serve’ and endorse Harris
Wikipedia has a long list which is updated constantly.
List of Republicans who oppose the Donald Trump 2024 presidential campaign
NOTE: That slogan is borrowed from what some Dems were apparently saying about Barry Goldwater in 1964.

not an american? allow me, an american🇺🇸, to explain our very simple and totally not-corrupt recent presidential history
in 2016, after being in office for 8 years, obama and biden passed the presidency to trump. then trump tried to win again, but biden beat trump, so trump then unwillingly passed the presidency back to biden, with harris. then biden really tried to pass the presidency to harris, but trump has now beat harris, so biden and harris will now pass the presidency back to trump.
so basically our leaders are just playing a really dirty and high stakes game of hot potato.
hope this helps!

Since Trump lies SO perpetually, a part of his low functioning brain has just stopped checking to see if he's making any sense at all.

Trump is certainly impaired and unfit.
Donald Trump's 'Cognitive Decline' Is Clear: Mary Trump
He's clearly hiding something.
Trump refuses to release medical records as concerns about him being the oldest possible president grow
What happened to all those Republicans who claimed Biden was too old?
Trump says he'd hire a CEO his age. Only a handful of top chief executives are older.
He couldn't even finish a puff piece interview at his own place with a MAGA fanboy.
‘Exhausted’ Trump Can’t Make It Through Interview in His Home
Trump keeps cancelling public appearances. He actually stiffed the NRA.
Trump Abruptly Cancels Two Big Speeches in Sign of How Bad He’s Doing
Remember how Trump went into the first debate in 2020 even though he tested positive for COVID-19?
President best known for lying may have lied about Covid-19 status before first presidential debate in 2020
Trump is a sick puppy – in more ways than one.

This is the guy who, at our southern border rambled, "They're coming from countries unknown, speaking languages unknown... no one knows these countries or languages."
Spanish Donny, they're mostly speaking Spanish, one of the most common languages on earth. And immigrants are expected to tell us what country they are from as part of the asylum process.
Could your attempts to stir up xenophobia with the word "unknown" be anymore obvious?
Also, is it possible to sound more stupid?

To grasp what coverage of Trump’s mental unfitness might look like, try comparing what little there is of it to coverage of President Biden’s age before his exit from the race. In a useful intervention, the Times’ Jamelle Bouie notes that in the latter case, the media adopted the premise that Biden’s age mattered precisely because it went to Biden’s core mental capacity “to do the job as president,” thus meriting extensive journalistic attention. But if so, then why don’t things like Trump’s obvious cognitive impairment, his frequent inability to speak and think coherently, his resolute refusal to acquire minimal baseline knowledge on many consequential issues, his tendency to invent things on the fly that are wildly disconnected from reality, his intense narcissism, his deliberate lying and bigotry and misogyny—to name just a few traits—also go to his core mental and characterological capacity to do the job as president?

I got political whiplash on Threads. First, everyone was screaming, “All is lost!” I came back an hour later, and everyone was screaming, “We Ride at Dawn!”
The right-wingers are in panic mode. Steven Miller was practically screaming on Feckless news. 🤣
I mean. The right-wingers' entire mentality, the fuel for the January 6 attempted coup, the recent SCOTUS President God-King Immunity ruling, and all the rest, is premised on the simple fact that the president is indeed, Almighty God King who serves for life and will never, ever willingly give up his power. So that's how I can guarantee that the GOP, because they are short-sighted fascist morons, did not plan for this. Their entire strategy was built around attacking Biden, because they hate him. Like, really hate him. He defeated Trump the first time and there was still a good chance that he could do it again. Trump got impeached the first time for trying to extort Zelenskyy for dirt on Biden, because he didn't want to face him. That's why they went after Hunter on largely bogus charges, tossed around the idea of impeaching Biden, actually (uselessly) impeached Mayorkas, etc.
And yet, because Biden (even if he was forced to do it) decided to step away and voluntarily give up his presidential power instead of wrecking American democracy to hold onto it, that has broken their little shriveled fascist brains. They literally can't comprehend it, and I can guarantee they're now shit scared about having to face Kamala, a brown woman, who is the epitome of everything their tiny evil brains hate. As noted by those bangin' fundraising numbers, there is also a lot of excitement around her. And suddenly, after MONTHS of "this election is a referendum on which old and mentally declining man you hate more," that has been removed as a factor. (Watch the media suddenly forget all about age and/or mental competency as a factor now that Biden is out. Does it apply to Trump, you ask? CRICKETS.)
Kamala is going to mop the f'n floor with Trump at the next presidential debate, and I guarantee that the GOP knows that too. Because yes, if Biden had another bad debate, or if he has a bad case of COVID that might end up giving him long-covid symptoms or keeping him off the trail for days or weeks, that would have been very, very hard to recover from. Now the GOP is the one stuck with an old, mentally baffled, virulently hated presidential candidate and the most pro-Russia, anti-woman, demonstrable-sellout whitebread VP pick imaginable, that they had to choose because Trump nearly got the last one killed and he wasn't interested in the job again, for some weird reason. And as we have pointed out before, this is the last-chance saloon for Trump in any number of ways, and he has been demonstrably overconfident the last few weeks as the media was consumed with discussion of Biden's stumbles rather than Trump's manifold unfitness, treason, felonies, and all the rest.
I don't agree with Biden on everything he has ever done in his long career in public service, but I will say that I don't think he would have actually done this if he wasn't eventually convinced, for whatever reason that might be, that it was the right decision. And my one big fear about him stepping down was that the party would instantly fracture, people would start flogging unrealistic Magical White Boy replacements, and otherwise insist on an "open mini-primary!" or some other fucking bullshit. Now, there are still a few idiots trying that, but by and large, the Democratic power apparatus has instantly thrown its weight behind Kamala. That doesn't excuse them for the weeks of wibbling Anonymous Sources self-sabotage beforehand, and I still vote that we destroy the billionaires at our next opportunity, but if we can stick with that and keep up those mongo fundraising numbers, we might indeed actually have a better chance than before, and that was what this was all about.
As I noted yesterday, Black women have been disproportionately influential in taking Trump down (think Leticia James, Fani Willis, etc) and there is undoubtedly a huge, HUGE amount of poetic justice if Kamala can be the one to stick the knife in his greasy orange gut once and for all. I can likewise guarantee the GOP is well aware of that, and the fact that while they can yell even louder and trot out the same old racist, sexist, misogynist fearmongering dirtbag attacks they used on HRC, that is a strategy with demonstrably diminishing returns (it sure as hell isn't going to help them win any more female or suburban or black voters or anyone else we always hear about how they're Making Inroads with). And we're not going to talk about how it's Obvious that America would never elect a black female president. Obama won two terms. Even with all that weight of frothing misogyny and DECADES of Republican smear machines, HRC won the popular vote and was ratfucked out of the Electoral College by the slimmest of margins, after a massive interference campaign by the Russians. It is fucking possible, we are going to do it, and the Republicans are so, SO FUCKING SCARED of having to live in an America run by a brown woman, that can only be for the good.
Kamala Harris 2024. Let's go.

The Math Ain't Mathing
Tumblr media
So I'm sure people are going to accuse me of being a conspiracy theorist, but the more I think about the results of this US election, the more it's clear that things aren't adding up.
Now don't get me wrong. I'm well aware of the US's long history of racism and misogyny, and it is totally possible -- in theory -- that more people voted for a moronic straight, white male who is an ajudicated grapist and convicted felon over a more-than-qualified, intelligent, results-driven woman of color for a position as leader of the wealthiest nation on earth.
I'm not saying that couldn't happen. But did it? Legitimately?
The more I think about Trump's campaign, the more fishy this result seems.
So here was a man with ...
virtually no policies (that he could talk about openly),
no ground game,
no door knocking apparatus to urge folks to get out the vote,
no phone banking,
he was constantly running out of money and had to shill products to raise more,
stole money from down ballot candidates, putting their marketing strategies at risk,
found liable for SA,
found guilty of millions of dollars in fraud,
constantly rambles and shows clear signs of being mentally unwell,
invokes violent and hateful language against specific communities as well as individuals,
bragged about being a dictator on Day 1,
had over 40 former cabinet members declare him unfit for office,
was called a fascist by his own former chief of staff,
was not endorsed by any reputable economists,
saw a flood of lifelong Republicans -- literally millions of them -- abandon their party to vote for his opponent,
has been impeached twice,
has seen sharply, dwindling crowd sizes at his rallies for the last 6 weeks,
... and somehow he won the popular vote by 5 million?
Even though he never won the popular vote in 2016? Or 2020?
Suddenly he "found" a bunch of votes from people who liked him?
Um, no.
Just no.
One of Trump's biggest failings is that he and his team tell lies like children. That is, they've never learned how to keep things believable. Like a misguided 10-year-old who is desperate to impress someone with his whopper of a tale, he always exaggerates to the point of hyperbole and insults our intelligence.
For example, he told us his rally at Wildwood, NJ, this past summer had 108,000 even though the town itself only has 80,000 residents and the venue he held the rally in only held 20,000 people.
Or how he kept insisting that American kids are going to school and somehow receiving gender reassignment surgery over a couple of days and without parental consent before being sent home.
Each lie is so over the top and grandiose it makes him look infantile while at the same time insults our knowledge of reality.
And that's exactly what this feels like.
There is no way this man won the majority of the votes and the popular vote after only winning due to the electoral college the first time and not at all the second time. More people vilify him now than they did in 2016 and 2020, and that's saying something.
There just aren't enough voters in the US to give him a clear path to victory here no matter how committed his sycophants are to white supremacy. MAGA voters are not the majority of the voting electorate.
Also the fact that the exit polling data is suspiciously similar to the same tall tales Trump's been selling for the past year about how he had a ton of support in the Latino and Black communities, despite there being no data to support it at all. He was polling damn near 0% in some majority black communities like Detroit and Atlanta.
Yeah ... no.
This math ain't mathing.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I know when something isn't adding up. And nothing about these results add up at all.
On top of that, they ran their entire campaign like they didn't care about people getting out to vote. They kept insulting different segments of the electorate over and over again, as if they didn't need the votes of single people or people without children.
Plus, we saw record voter registration leading up to the election. More people voting early in state after state, and millions of people voting for the first time in their lives. But somehow there were fewer votes cast in this 2024 election than in the 2020 election?
Hell, Georgia alone tripled its early voter turnout. So how is this election getting fewer votes than 4 years ago?!
There were historically longer lines than ever before in parts of the country that never saw long lines, and yet there were millions fewer votes counted so far this year? Are we really to believe that all those long lines and so many new voters managed to only add up to 136M versus 158M who voted in 2020?
I call bullshit!
Also, a number of folks are commenting on how quickly the states were called. In all my years of voting, I've never seen a US election turning around so fast.
Yeah, the math ain't mathing.
Sure, he could've eeked out a win via the Electoral College without the popular vote like he did in 2016, but given her momentum and the majority of the polls either favoring her or having had them tied, none of these results pass the smell test.
Meanwhile, Harris had a multigenerational, multiracial, multiethnic, multigendered coalition of enthusiastic supporters who volunteered, phone banked, door knocked, and fundraised in every state plus D.C. Her media strategy was savvy, her interviews were sharp and intelligible, and her demeanor was inclusive and congenial. Again, not putting anything past good ole American racism and misogyny, but all the data showed that her supporters were clearly larger in number and more enthusiastic than his.
Long story short --
I do believe we are witnessing the American government being hijacked and a dictator installed right before our very eyes.

Always remember, "Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley" it is Donald Trump's most important message.
Tumblr media
Trump has yet to ever explain one of his policies.
Something as complex as health care is given toddler-level 'something bigger and better' and it will be delivered in two weeks.
White superiority myth gives Trump unlimited undeserved double standards.
As long as Trump upholds white supremacy, he gets whatever he needs from media.
