How do you make your drawings so textured and what brushes do you use?

For brushes, I usually just check out whatever users put on gumroad. I know I bought a bunch of Aaron Blaise brushes back when they went on sale during quarantine, but that aside, I don't have anything in specific.

I usually do flat colors, then manually degrade the lines and color with a rough spare brush. Like sorta noise. I'm bad with terms. I then add textures on top. When shading, instead of an airbrush, I also go over with a fine noise brush.

For textures, I have bought a couple packs from True Grit Supply. Good stuff, worth the price. I also sometimes process pictures from Unsplash. I sometimes take pictures or scan old magazines myself.

True Grit

Hailee Steinfeld's Performance in True Grit was astonishing for someone to play that at such a young age. She was a 14-year-old child in this movie stepping in to find and have her father's killer hung. She had more perseverance and strength within herself to get things done. She was a very stubborn child who wanted to see her father's killer go down for the crime he did. She drags Cogburn to help her find him, and he brings La Boeuf to help him. They basically go on this journey, and she is not backing down without a fight. Her smart mouth and wit catch her into disputes on multiple occasions, bringing character to her and the movie as a whole. She really had emotion and true grit herself when it came to what she wanted. She was fierce and bold when she went in the face with a gun while dealing with the snakes at the bottom of the pit. Being brave enough at the age of 14 in the movie helped carry her story on this part of her life. Hailee Steinfeld's performance in True Grit definitely did what it needed to do. She played her part well and executed the scenes very well.
