I get where you're coming from, I do. I am also frustrated with this. But I literally cannot do anything about this. I do not have managerial clearance for it.

Whatever dumbshit designed our pos system designed it so that the only way to reprint a receipt is for a manager to put in some manger-only code to reprint it. I 100% agree that this is a dogshit system. I don't know why the managers won't just give us cashiers the code so that we can just reprint the receipt ourselves instead of wasting everyone's time.

Especially because something as simple as a paper jam will cause the receipt to not print.

Which is what happened today. The receipt paper jammed and after I un jammed it, the register would not allow me the option to reprint it and went to the screen to start the next transaction. Unfortunately, the manager on duty that I called to help was a lower manager who did not know how to reprint a receipt.

It sucks, but we both explained to you that I do not have clearance to do that and she was not shown how to do it. I agree that this is very frustrating and this is a dumb system to have. I don't like it, either.

But yelling at me and my manager over it solves absolutely nothing.

It does suck and only managers can do it because that sktchy cashier Dipshit McManager just had to hire because she was "hot" kept reprinting cash receipts and grabbing shit off the isle to return for drug money. And did he get into trouble? No! The dumbass has the nerve to lecture the cashiers about it.

I agree they should make sure at least one person on shift has the code.

As his boots traversed across unfamiliar grounds, Raphael strode past multiple gaggles of demonkind, arching an eyebrow at their peculiar body structures, but making no comment on it, nor slowing his strides. After all..

They were not the one he was looking for.

The House of Hope's portals had led him to this land for the purposes of a soul in need. As to whom that soul was, the details had been decidingly sktchy. Almost as if the individual didn't want to be found.

But little mice could only run so far before the claws came calling.

An oddly familiar scent brought him out of his musings and caused the slightest wrinkling of his nose. Trying to place why it felt so familiar, Raphael realized that it was the unique stench of an incubus.

..No, not an incubus. A succubus.

"I suppose one can only go so far into another realm before running across such befoulment." Scoffing, he turned slightly on his heel towards a woman for whom he was sure the scent was coming from. "I take it that you're the reason for the absolutely horrendous smell?"
