So we're hanging out, having a good time, about to have hot cocoa, I'm gathering ingredients; and I have one enthusiastic outburst of "Oh yeah! Time to get milked!" as I retrieve the half gallon jug, and suddenly I'm the one who needs to 'stop saying words'.

Darling spouse: Good job, babe.
Me, triumphant: Not today, floor! You're not getting this bread! The only one getting bread in this house today is ME!
Darling spouse: ...can you stop saying words?

One (unfortunately) Larusso
Hi, you must not know who I am.
Well my name is ___ larusso. Yes, daughter of Daniel and Amanda Larusso. The oldest.
Since I was a 10 year old child I never got along very well with my father. Because according to him, Mr. Miyage said I had something not very good, so I was banned from practicing or learning karate. Unlike my brothers Sam and Anthony Larusso, who have been practicing since they were born.
I always felt excluded when my brothers practiced with my father in the backyard.
*Flashback*
Sitting on a sofa near the window inside the house. I watch with a look of desire the moves that my brothers are learning.
I look at my mother who is next to me working.
--- Mom, when can I learn these moves? --- I ask her hopefully.
She looks up from her notebook and looks at me.
--- when you grow up, dear. --- she gives a small smile but goes back to work.
I look back at the window and rest my head on my hand, thinking about the moment when I will make this dream come true. Learning karate makes my father proud.
*End of Flashback*
Well, you must be wondering: "why are you and your father angry with each other?"
The answer is simple. On a normal day, when I got home from school, I happily went to her and asked: "Daddy, when will I learn karate?"
He turned to me with an irritated look and said: "Karate is not for you, choose something else."
I remember he said it in the coldest way possible. I was just a kid who wanted to make my daddy proud.
When I told him to fix it, he would do it. He just said things that really hurt me at the time.
After that day, conversations with my father ended in fights and more fights.
When I turned 16 I decided to leave home, it was difficult but I found a house. I decided to learn karate hidden from everyone. I improved some techniques to the point of becoming a champion in several karate competitions.
Well that's me, ___ Larusso. The current CEO of one of the country's largest fashion companies.
hey guys! I plan to write this story about Daniel Larusso's daughter having a relationship with Terry Silver. I hope everyone likes it!! and if there are any mistakes, forgive me!♡

Terry has major blue balls true true lol the poor man BUT in all seriousness, will this mean he will push Daniel into being more receptive to his touch? Will he get bolder with how hands on he is with Daniel when he is awake and not drugged up? Daniel can only resist him for so long and it’s been at least half a year by now. Maybe he’ll even reduce Daniel’s medication to get him back to his natural craving for physical touch and intimacy. Daniel did have a healthy and normal sex life with Amanda after all. He can’t be uninterested in sex forever! And Terry has a libido that would make a teenage boy blush lol.
In an upcoming chapter, Daniel has a wet dream of sorts about Terry.
The idea being his medication is lowered so he is starting to feel certain things again etc
Taken from the WIP so should appear on the story - therefore - spoilers.

Explained | Snow White live-action remake: Why is Disney classic stirring modern controversy? - Entertainment News
"Zegler's honest, but perhaps ill-advised, remarks on the original film's dated portrayal of gender dynamics and her vision for a more empowered Snow White added fuel to the fire. In an interview last year, she told Extra TV, "The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so. There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird! So we didn’t do that this time. We have a different approach to what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we cast a guy in the movie. All of Andrew’s scenes could get cut, who knows? It’s Hollywood, baby (Andrew being actor Andrew Jonathan who plays the role of a prince who awakens Snow White with a kiss)."
The response to her comments, let's say, was less than wholesome. Traditionalists yearning for the comforting embrace of nostalgia and seeking a faithful recreation of the animated classic, reviled Zegler, sharing on social media claiming how Zegler is dark-skinned and ugly as compared to the image of Snow White they have in their minds. They will probably continue to complain until the movie comes out. or even after that. Some did celebrate her comments, and the chance to challenge conventions in a new adaption of the classic tale for modern audiences.
The clash between tradition and progress extended to the portrayal of love and feminism. Zegler's assertion that the prince in the original was akin to a "stalker" was met with resistance from those who romanticised everything about the original. Once you become emotionally attached to something or even an idea of that something, reason vanishes. Zegler's declaration that the new Snow White wouldn't rely on the prince for salvation challenged the very idea of the story those traditionalists had in their minds. Thus, Zegler became not Snow White but the Evil Queen for them."
YO, CAN SOMEONE SEND ME SOME BOOTS? I JUST STEPPED INTO A VAT OF BULLSHIT! Below is a list from Wiki of Love Action remakes of Snow White, just in the 2000s. There were over 12 others before then. Two of them from Germany, featuring ONLY the Dwarves. Was the writer of this article counting on short term memory?
7 Dwarves – Men Alone in the Wood (7 Zwerge – Männer allein im Wald) (2004), a German comedy film
The Brothers Grimm (2005), an adventure fantasy film directed by Terry Gilliam and starring Matt Damon, Heath Ledger, and Lena Headey
7 Dwarves: The Forest Is Not Enough (7 Zwerge – Der Wald ist nicht genug) (2006), sequel to the 2004 German film 7 Dwarves – Men Alone in the Wood
Sydney White (2007), a modernization, starring Amanda Bynes
Blancanieves (2012), a silent Spanish film based on the fairy tale.
Mirror Mirror (2012), starring Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen Clementianna,[93] Lily Collins as Snow White, Armie Hammer as Prince Andrew Alcott, and Nathan Lane as Brighton, the Queen's majordomo.
The Huntsman series:
Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, and Sam Claflin.
The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016), which features Snow White as a minor character.
How is it that people are throwing so-called fits over live adaptations when some of these others are quite recent and varied in storyline? We're all used to the modern twisting of fairy tales. What some are not used to is being so inartifully and clumsily lectured about male female relationships by an actress who looks about 12 years old. You know what this is about: Interference and ongoing attempted sabotage of the Disney brand.

Inspired by the real story of a high school American-football coach and his team’s participation in the 2004 season. The fall and rise of one of the most consistent team, especially after holding a record for the longest winning streak, what happens when it was broken unexpectedly? Do the players lose the confidence, coach be clueless, parents go crazy and media annoys them, is what neatly this film narrated. It looked nice to me and I had a good time, but it was too long and not inspiring as the other sports film based on the true events. From the director of ‘Coach Carter’, another decent sports film. I am not disappointed because I was not expecting to be a masterpiece, though not bad for once viewing. All the actors were good, especially it is Jim Caviezel’s one of the major roles and he was amazing. American-football was always been an Americas sport, so I never interested in it except watching films based on them for inspiration. Especially after ‘Conccusion’, my interest on them dropped further. Whatever I said is not a reason to skip the film. As a film, it did the right thing to portray the real life achievers on the screen to boost the young sports persons. Only to me it was just an above average, but for many others, it is one of the best sports film of the year. Forget the American-football, what I liked was, achievements are good for our progress and make a career, but sometimes there’s much more than making records in the games. So it’s a good moral lesson film than a fine entertaining film. I won’t recommend it, but definitely not a waste of time. 6.5/10

The Adventures of David Dashiki- Stories of an African America Hero... 2024- Year of the Black Man Aaaahhh! But What To Read ?
READING...
We have agreed that reading is our starting point. Then, here are some essential and brilliant authors that you must possess in your quiver as ammunition in the battle against illiteracy. Make no mistake, this is scholastic warfare. An ill-equipped reading warrior is only armed for his own demise. Secondly, on the battlefield, we must be able to fluently communicate. We must speak the same language. One cannot speak Swahili and the other, French. This type of preparation would only lead to disaster of major proportions.
Garvey is the primer. Other authors of significant fame and reputation that our young readers must master are: Arna Bontemps, Claude Brown, Ralph Ellison, Richard Wright, Alex Haley, Ta-Nehisi Coates, August Wilson, Malcolm X, Nelson Madela, W.E.B. DuBois, Calvin Baker, Junius Edwards, Yosef Ben-Jochannan, Harold Cruse, Maulana Karenga...
Female Authors: Alice Walker, Amanda Gorman, Toni Morrison, Chi Mammanda, Ngozi Adichie, Bell Hooks, Audre Lorde, Lorraine Hansberry, Terry McMillan, Ntozake Shange, Jesmyn Ward, Angela Davis, Ida B. Wells, Claudia Tate, Dorothy Koomson, Cheryl Clarke, Sioban Brooks, Elaine Brown, Ruby Bridges, Rosa Parks, Dorothy Porter...
Poetesses: Nikki Giovani, Maya Angelou, Phyllis Wheatley, Mari Evans...
Poets: Langston Hughes, Amiri Baraka, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Countee Cullen. Jean Toomer
We must read so that we can survive the myths. We live in a country in which myths about our character and industry have been propagated for centuries. History has not told our story with veracity and pride. We have been maligned. Therefore, we use the Year 2024 to read what WE have to say about US. If we do not read, we will succumb to the vicious lies spoken and written about us. Our children will never overcome in the current social environment. What is most important is that we read our story and focus on why is it important to omit the truth about what has happened and will continue to happen to us in America. This is a land of opportunity. It is our duty to reveal the truth. This can only be accomplished if we read, act, do, speak, question, create, develop, execute, move, pursue, respond, persevere, operate, persist, exert, represent, exploit,... Damn it! We must do something. The plan is that we read. Fill the knowledge gaps. Then act. The dormant days of life have ended. We are in the moment knowledge warriors.
Here are a few questions I advance: Why is it important that America omit our true history in our textbooks?
Why has America hidden the history, of our past, our successes and achievements from all who call themselves AMERICANS?
What has been taught are lies, propaganda and MYTHS.. America is a land of opportunity. We can right these wrongs. First , we must be armed with our own stories and triumphs. We must be READERS.

Ear Worthy Episodes From: Very Special Episodes; 6 Degrees Of Cats; Hello, John Doe
Three ear worthy podcast episodes for your listening pleasure this weekend.
Ever catch yourself engrossed in a story, convinced it's movie-worthy? Enter iHeartPodcast's latest original, where hosts Dana Schwartz, Zaron Burnett and Jason English transform that very sentiment into a captivating podcast called Very Special Episodes.
Each Wednesday, the co-hosts tell one stranger-than-fiction tale about normal people in an extraordinary situation. Tune in now for the latest episode, “Operation Lunar Eclipse,” that dives into the riveting story of the underground moonrock trade a teenage boy finds himself in after being gifted a piece of the moon by NASA.
__________________________________________________
6 Degrees of Cats has a lot of things going for it as an ear-worthy podcast. First, it's not a "cat lady" podcast where cat lovers, mostly women, tell super-cute stories about their cat Mittens. The show looks at cats in history, mythology, and culture. For example, I loved the April 25th episode about Vikings and cats. Norse folklore expert Terry Gunnell will fascinate listeners with his tales of cats and the Viking culture.
What I like most about 6 Degrees of Cats is its scholarly intentions toward cats, the hosting skill of Amanda B, and the catchy friskiness of its audio.
The latest episode is titled, "Pizza Paws: Decoding the Internet's Obsession with Cats and Pizza." This is the prototypical oil and water scenario Cats and pizza don't mix, right? Alongside pizza consultant Anthony Falco, host Amanda B. takes listeners on a ride wild about the history of the internet, ordering pizza online, the history of domesticated cats, and then Maria Bustillos discusses the unique role cats play on the internet -- cat videos, more adorable cat videos, and yet more cat videos.

Meet Todd Matthews, a self-taught detective who, for two decades, served as the go-to expert for the US Department of Justice in reuniting unclaimed and unidentified bodies with their families. But, in a surprising twist, one of the missing children from Todd's database contacts him to reveal he's alive and well.
In iHeart’s "Hello, John Doe," Todd and this 45-year-old man embark on a joint investigation to uncover his true identity. Together, they delve into his haunting past, unraveling the story of how he escaped a serial killer's clutches and seeking answers about the potential survival of his missing nephew. Tune in on Tuesdays to take a bone-chilling journey into the unknown.
In the latest episode, there are revelations galore. As a teenager, Steve didn’t dare ask his adoptive parents about his birth family. But once he was middle-aged and grieving the only father he’d ever known, Steve and his girlfriend decided it was time. What his mother told them opened a Pandora’s box of uncomfortable truths and led to a question: Why did a serial killer come up when Steve researched his family of origin online? Who was Franklin Floyd?

Exposed (Cobra Kai story): Chapter 8
A limo arrived at Cobra Kai’s flagship dojo. Inside of the dojo, a training session was underway.
The Sekai Taikai committee members walked into the dojo.
Terry spoke. "Distinguished members of the Sekai Taikai, I thank you for gracing us with your presence."
Terry and the Sekai Taikai committee members bowed to each other.
One of the Sekai Taikai committee members spoke. "Sensei Silver, I'm Gunther Braun. I speak for the Sekai Taikai. As you know, our admission process is quite rigorous. Despite your overtures, we cannot guarantee admission."
"Understood. But I assure you, Cobra Kai is worthy of entry. As you can see, our dojo is state-of-the-art. And our senseis are second to none." Terry said.
Hyan-Woo spun in the air. When his feet were on the floor, he got in a fighting position.
"Very impressive. But there are many impressive dojos in the world." Gunther said.
"Which is why it's a shame more people haven't heard of them. But that's where we can help each other out. Corporate sponsorships. Broadcast rights. I have the resources and the connections to make the Sekai Taikai a household name all across America. It's a huge market. One you've never been able to tap. Until now." Terry said.
Gunther chuckled.
"Karate gave my life structure, function, purpose. And it's doing the same for my students. I only want to spread its lessons further. Give every kid the chance to learn and grow through karate. Just like I did." Terry said.
"Thank you for your generosity, but this review is entirely about the quality of your students." Gunther said.
Terry spoke confidently. “That won't be a problem. Our dojo is the best in the Valley.”
Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, and Amanda walked into the dojo.
"That's not true." Daniel said.
Gunther looked at Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, and Amanda in confusion. "And who are you?"
Daniel introduced himself. "I'm Sensei Daniel LaRusso. Two-time All-Valley champion."
Johnny introduced himself. "Sensei Johnny Lawrence. Also two-time champion."
Chozen introduced himself. "Chozen Toguchi. Master sensei."
Chozen bowed.
One of the Sekai Taikai committee members bowed to Chozen.
Amanda introduced herself. “Amanda LaRusso, karate adjacent.”
Amanda curtsied.
"Cobra Kai isn't the only dojo in the Valley." Daniel said.
Gunther was intrigued. "Oh, so you represent another dojo?"
"Not just any dojo. We have champions from the past two All-Valleys." Johnny said.
Gunther turned to Terry. "You led us to believe that your dojo had all the titles."
"Honesty isn't exactly Cobra Kai's strong suit. Our dojo is truly unique. We've combined our different styles to train our students into the best fighters I've ever seen. And they deserve a shot at your tournament just as much as Cobra Kai." Daniel said.
Gunther turned to the representative from Japan. He spoke to him in Japanese. His words translated to "The other dojo wants to prove their worth."
The representative from Japan nodded in approval.
The man who bowed to Chozen spoke to Gunther in Korean. His words translated to "Combining styles is unorthodox, but I am curious."
Terry chuckled.
"My apologies for this inappropriate yet entertaining disruption, but may I remind our guests that they haven't traveled all this way to consider anyone but the very best,” Terry said.
"No, we have not. Now that we're here, we'll determine that for ourselves. We will see what your dojo has to offer." Gunther said.
Gunther turned to Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, and Amanda. “And yours."
Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, and Amanda looked grateful.
Terry turned to Kim Da-Eun. He looked frustrated.
"We expect a comprehensive exhibition of your training methods and your students' abilities." Gunther told Terry, Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, and Amanda. "And then we will see if either dojo is worthy of the Sekai Taikai."
"Thank you very much. You won't be disappointed,” Daniel said gratefully.
Terry feigned happiness. He clapped his hands. "Well, as they say, the more, the merrier."
Terry glared at Daniel and Johnny. "May the best dojo win."
Johnny spoke confidently. "We will.”
Johnny sneered at Terry. “And when we do, I'm going to shove that ponytail up your ass."
Johnny looked at Gunther. "You can translate that."
Amanda tried not to laugh.
Daniel put his hand on Johnny’s arm. "Okay. All right."
Daniel and Johnny walked out of the dojo.
Chozen bowed to the Sekai Taikai committee members before walking out of the dojo.
Amanda walked out of the dojo.
The Sekai Taikai committee members walked out of the dojo.
Kim spoke to Terry. Her voice was full of anger. “I agreed to train your students under the condition you would pave the way for my family's teachings to emerge from the shadows. And yet, your petty rivalry is standing in the way.”
“I have no rivalry with them. They're beaten. This is a last, desperate gasp of breath.” Terry said.
“Then we must suffocate them. I will continue to train your students so they are fully prepared. And might I suggest…” Kim paused. “Next time, you are prepared too.”
Devon expressed her excitement about the Sekai Taikai as she practiced on the kicking pads with Tory. “This thing's going to be on TV. There are corporate sponsors. We're going to make a fortune.”
“I don't think we're getting paid,” Tory said dryly.
“I mean, not directly, but we're going to be Insta-famous. I’m going to get me one of those branded partnerships. You can put yourself through college with one of those.” Devon said.
Insta was short for Instagram.
“I never even thought about college before.” Tory said.
Devon spoke firmly. “As long as we make sure Cobra Kai wins.”
Tory was quiet. She was thinking about Kreese.
Flashback
“How much longer do I have to stay at the dojo?” Tory asked.
“I know how difficult it is to be behind enemy lines, but I need you there for a little longer. I’ve got a plan to get out of this place.” Kreese said.
“You do?” Tory asked.
“Yeah. I'm going to play the good soldier, which is what I need you to do. So, do whatever Silver says, but keep your eyes and ears open. Now, he's smart, but he'll slip. And that will be the opening we need. Can you handle that?” Kreese asked.
“Yes, Sensei.” Tory said.
“Good.” Kreese said.
End of flashback
Devon noticed that something was wrong.
“What's wrong?” Devon asked.
Tory shrugged off Devon’s concern.
“Don't worry about it. Elevate your kicks. Aim higher.” Tory told Devon.
Devon did as she was told.
The Miyagi-Do students and the Eagle Fang students arrived at the Miyagi-Do dojo.
“Did you watch that video I sent you of last year's Sekai Taikai?" Eli asked Miguel.
"Who knew people could kick that high?" Miguel asked.
Robby smiled and tapped Eli’s arm. “Or that hard.”
Eli was in awe. “Dude, seriously."
"I guess that’s why it's the biggest competition in the world." Sarah said.
Sarah was wearing red high-top Nike sneakers with black laces, a red t-shirt, and black polyester shorts. The shorts stopped 2 inches above her knees. They had a black drawstring. The drawstring was tied into a bow. Her naturally straight blonde hair was tied up in a high ponytail. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour.
“Last year's winners did a car commercial in Taiwan." Eli said.
Mitch was excited. “Imagine being in a commercial. What would you do with all that money?"
Chris smiled. “Buy a yacht with a hot tub. Fill it up with Smarties and hotties."
Chris did a goofy dance. His fellow students laughed, and so did the Eagle Fang students.
"All right, all right. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Remember, Cobra Kai is going to do everything they can to get a spot. And if they win this time, kids all over the world are going to have to deal with the same crap you guys have gone through." Daniel said.
Sam spoke optimistically. "But if we win, we can show the world how to stop them."
"First, you must prove you can compete with best." Chozen told the Miyagi-Do students and the Eagle Fang students.
"To do that, you have to be better than the best, which is why we're going to kick your asses into high gear." Johnny said.
"Sensei Lawrence, Sensei Toguchi, and I are going to get you ready for the presentation. Come on. Let's get warmed up." Daniel told the Miyagi-Do students and the Eagle Fang students.
"Go! Move those asses!” Johnny yelled.
The Miyagi-Do students and the Eagle Fang students dispersed.
Johnny approached Miguel.
“Hey. How are you feeling?” Johnny asked.
“Good. Great. Why?” Miguel asked.
“I just want you to know I'm not going to force you to compete. I made that mistake in the All-Valley. I’m not going to do it again.” Johnny said.
“No worries. I-I'm pumped, actually.” Miguel said.
Johnny gestured to Sam, who was practicing her kata.
“Everything okay with…Uh…” Johnny trailed off.
“Uh, yeah. Things were tough at first, but I'm glad that we're still friends.” Miguel said.
Johnny gave Miguel a pat on the shoulder. “All right. Good to hear.”
Robby walked up to Johnny and Miguel.
“How sweet. Is this what fatherly advice sounds like?” Robby deadpanned.
“Come on. We’re just talking.” Johnny said.
Robby smirked. “Relax. I'm messing with you.”
Miguel chuckled.
Johnny sighed.
“I'm glad you ironed out your shit. With you on the same team, we have a shot. What do you say? Are you ready to show the world who's boss?” Johnny asked.
Miguel and Robby looked at each other and smiled.
The next day, the Sekai Taikai committee members arrived at the Miyagi-Do dojo.
Bert and Anthony were sanding the sparring deck.
Daniel spoke to the Sekai Taikai committee members. “Our students start with basic movements. We use chores to create muscle memory. Once they have that down, they can master their defense."
The Sekai Taikai committee members and Daniel walked past the sparring deck.
“Show me sand the floor!" Chozen yelled at Mitch and Chris.
Chozen tried to kick Mitch. He blocked the kick using the technique known as “sand the floor.”
Chozen tried to kick Chris. He blocked the kick using the technique known as “sand the floor.”
Chozen nodded proudly at Mitch and Chris.
The Sekai Taikai committee members and Daniel walked past Chozen, Mitch, and Chris.
“Only after they master their defense do we teach offense." Daniel said.
“But with a badass twist." Johnny said.
“Show them the screaming eagle. Ready? Aits!” Johnny yelled at Miguel, Sarah, Robby, and Eli.
Miguel, Sarah, Robby, and Eli did a jump kick, punched forward, punched backward, and stood up straight.
Sarah was wearing a green long-sleeved shirt, black leggings, and green high-top Adidas sneakers with black laces. Her naturally straight blonde hair was tied up in a high ponytail. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour.
Daniel and Johnny nodded proudly at Miguel, Sarah, Robby, and Eli.
Johnny raised his fist.
The Sekai Taikai committee members, Daniel, and Johnny were in the interior dojo.
Daniel was standing next to a picture of Mr. Miyagi and his ancestors.
Daniel spoke. “Our Okinawan style of karate has been handed down from generation to generation, going back 400 years."
Johnny was leaning against the doorframe.
Johnny spoke. “Shrimpo Sensei. Loved fishing. Loved sake bombs. One day, strong wind, strong sun…”
Daniel interrupted Johnny. “Okay! The point of the story is that our dojo is steeped in rich history."
"That's right." Johnny said.
"There's an old saying." Daniel said. "To solve the problems of the present, we must always look to the past."
The Sekai Taikai committee members, Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, the Miyagi-Do students, and the Eagle Fang students were in the warehouse where the Eagle Fang students used to train.
A watermelon was hanging on a chain. Sam swung her left leg sideways in a circular motion and kicked the watermelon, causing it to break.
Johnny spoke to the Sekai Taikai committee members. “No fancy crap here. Our dojo is old school. We don't spoil our students. We make 'em earn things the hard way."
Sam swung her left leg sideways in a circular motion and kicked another watermelon. The watermelon stayed intact.
“You call that a kick? Harder!" Johnny yelled at Sam.
Sam got in a fighting position and let out a yell before swinging her right leg sideways in a circular motion and kicking the watermelon. The watermelon broke. Some of the juice landed on Gunther’s face.
Bert gasped.
Sam looked mortified.
Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen exchanged a worried look.
Gunther pulled out a tissue and used it to wipe away the watermelon juice.
Johnny turned to Gunther. “Uh, hey…Look, man, I'm sure this probably all seems weird to you, but sometimes, you have to train outside the box to get to another level. Some people use the latest high-tech junk to get there, and some people need to run up a mountain in the snow and yell.”
"Drago!" Gunther yelled, raising his arms and forming fists.
Johnny looked at Gunther in surprise.
"Rocky Balboa is my hero." Gunther said.
Johnny spoke excitedly. “No shit! Mine too."
"His victory over Russia effectively restored my fractured homeland." Gunther said.
Johnny nodded. “You get it."
"I do. Show me more." Gunther told Johnny.
“Yes, sir." Johnny said.
Gunther and Johnny raised their fists.
Daniel sighed in relief.
The Sekai Taikai committee members, Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, the Miyagi-Do students, and the Eagle Fang students were at the Miyagi-Do dojo.
On top of the wooden platform that floated in the koi pond, Sam and Robby demonstrated the wheel technique. Everyone had serious looks on their faces, with the exception of Eli. He was smirking at one of the Sekai Taikai committee members and wiggling his eyebrows.
The Miyagi-Do students, and the Eagle Fang students demonstrated their kata.
The Sekai Taikai committee members left.
The Sekai Taikai committee members were at Cobra Kai’s flagship dojo.
Terry spoke to the Sekai Taikai committee members. “At Cobra Kai, we don't believe in baby steps. We throw our students straight into the fire. Kenny Payne only started training with us this year. Now look at him.”
Kim yelled something in Korean. It translated to “Begin.”
Kenny broke boards with his hands and feet. He bowed to the Sekai Taikai committee members. Terry nodded proudly at him.
Terry was holding a tablet.
Kyler was doing roundhouse kicks.
Kyler was wearing a state-of-the-art bodysuit that measured his heart rate.
Terry spoke to the Sekai Taikai committee members. “To improve our karate, we must look to the future. Other dojos may be set in their ways, but Cobra Kai is on the cutting edge. We use the latest technology for maximum performance."
Terry spoke to Kyler. “Very good. Keep your left foot planted."
“Yes, sir." Kyler said.
Kyler kept his left foot planted as he did a roundhouse kick.
Tory and Devon were in sync as they showed off their fighting skills.
The Sekai Taikai committee members left.
The next day, the Sekai Taikai committee members arrived at the Miyagi-Do dojo.
Gunther spoke to Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen. “Thank you for your presentation. Your style is...Quite unique. Having reviewed both dojos, it's clear that one could not be more different than the other, yet both are equally impressive. So, the only way to determine which dojo can gain entry into the Sekai Taikai is to see how your students fare in direct competition. Each dojo will select two fighters. One male, one female. Each will fight tomorrow afternoon in separate three-point matches. After those fights, the organizers will decide which dojo, if any, shall make the world stage. Good luck to all. Auf Wiedersehen."
“Auf Wiedersehen” was a German expression that was used to say goodbye.
Gunther bowed to Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen.
The Sekai Taikai committee members left.
“Well, it could have been worse." Daniel said.
"At least we still have a shot." Johnny said.
"Only one thing to do now." Chozen said. "We have to choose who will fight."
The Sekai Taikai committee members arrived at Cobra Kai’s flagship dojo.
Gunther spoke to Terry and Kim. “Thank you for your presentation. Your style is quite modern, not to mention your facilities. They're certainly one of a kind.
Gunther bowed to Terry and Kim.
The Sekai Taikai committee members left.
“Everyone, line up at the center mat." Terry told the Cobra Kai students.
The Cobra Kai students did as they were told.
“We have to prepare to fight. This is bigger than the All-Valley. Much bigger, so we need our best.” Terry said.
Terry looked at Tory. “Nichols, looks like you're going to have a rematch against LaRusso. You ready?”
“Yes, Sensei.” Tory said.
“Good.” Terry said.
Terry looked at Kenny. “Payne, ready to take on whoever they pick as their top fighter?”
“Yes, Sensei.” Kenny said.
“You’d better be, because the fate of this dojo rests in your fists.” Terry responded.
Tory walked into the visitation room at the prison.
Tory sat across from Kreese.
“They're expecting me to fight, but if I win, it helps Cobra Kai, so what do I do?” Tory asked.
Kreese appeared to be indifferent. “You do what's right for you.”
Tory was confused. “What's that supposed to mean?”
Kreese’s voice was emotionless. “You said it yourself. Winning gives you new opportunities.”
“What the hell are you talking about? The plan was to stop Silver and get you out.” Tory said.
Kreese spoke firmly. “We're not doing anything like that anymore. Nothing we do is going to get me out of here.”
“I've been helping you this whole time. Keeping secrets from everyone I know. And what? Now you're just done?” Tory asked angrily.
Kreese’s voice was full of pity. “I've put you through enough. The best thing you can do right now is look after yourself.”
Tory felt used and betrayed. “Screw this.” She shook her head and glared at Kreese. “This is what I get for putting my trust in anyone. I'm always the one picking up the pieces.”
Tory sighed as she walked away.
Amanda and Carmen were in the LaRusso family’s kitchen. They had just finished making a pizza.
Amanda grabbed a pizza cutter and started cutting the pizza.
The majority of the male Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang students were sitting at the table. Their plates were empty, save for pizza crusts.
Sarah was standing next to the sink and drinking a glass of water.
Sarah was wearing a red t-shirt, dark blue denim jeans, and red low-top Vans sneakers with white laces. Her naturally straight blonde hair was down. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour.
Amanda finished cutting the pizza.
“Okay, who's ready for round two?" Amanda asked as she walked towards the boys.
As soon as Amanda set the pizza down on the table, all of the boys grabbed a slice.
Amanda looked at the boys in alarm. “Okay. Jesus Christ.”
Carmen’s eyes widened. “Wow, you guys can really take down a pizza."
Amanda walked towards Carmen.
Amanda poured herself a glass of red wine.
Carmen poured herself a glass of red wine.
Chris took a bite of his pizza slice. “The honeys love a man that can eat."
Amanda and Carmen looked amused.
“What honeys? Our dojo has more sausage than this pizza." Mitch said.
“What? Are we not enough for you, Penis Breath?" Bert joked.
“Definitely not." Mitch said.
Bert laughed.
Nathaniel laughed as he slapped Bert’s arm.
Johnny, Robby, Miguel, and Eli were in the living room.
Johnny was sitting in an armchair.
Robby, Miguel, and Eli were sitting on the couch.
Johnny spoke. “All right, boys, we have a choice to make, and it's not going to be easy. You're all badass fighters, but only one of you can get on the mat tomorrow.”
Johnny looked at Eli. “Hawk's the current All-Valley champ, but it could have gone either way.”
Johnny gestured to Miguel. “Diaz is last year's champ. That could have gone either way too.”
“Even though Hawk injured Robby in the semis, Hawk didn't have to fight in the semis this year ‘cause Diaz booked it to Mexico.” Johnny said.
Johnny sighed.
“Point being you’re all deserving. LaRusso, Chozen, and I are having a hard time deciding which of you should go up against Cobra Kai tomorrow.” Johnny said.
Johnny shrugged. “Maybe we should just flip a coin.”
“How would that work? There are three of us.” Eli said.
“All right, so we’ll flip three coins.” Johnny said.
Miguel chuckled.
“Okay, we don't need to flip any coins. We already made up our minds.” Miguel said.
“Yeah. We talked about it, and there's only one choice.” Robby said.
“It should be Hawk.” Miguel said.
“He beat me fair and square.” Robby said.
“And I bowed out of the last tournament, so he deserves to represent us.” Miguel said.
Eli was flattered. “Wow. It's an honour I don't take lightly. I'm prepared for the challenge.”
Johnny spoke. “All right. We’ll train tonight.”
“Uh, what about Sam? Where's she?” Miguel asked.
Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen had spoken to Sam and Sarah earlier. Although both girls were talented fighters, Sam started learning karate before Sarah did, and therefore, she was more experienced. Daniel, Chozen, and Johnny thought Sam’s chances of beating Cobra Kai’s female fighter were better than Sarah’s.
In the backyard, Sam was training with Daniel and Chozen. Not wanting to overdo it, Daniel said, “That’s enough for tonight.” Daniel declared that Sam looked sharper than ever. Nevertheless, Sam felt like she had the world on her shoulders. She was still haunted by her loss to Tory at the All-Valley. Chozen told Sam that she should be fighting for herself rather than focusing on her opponent. Chozen’s words put Sam’s mind at ease. As she walked out of the backyard, Sam discovered the golden octopus pendant Miguel discarded shortly after their breakup.
At Cobra Kai’s flagship dojo, Kenny was punching a dummy. He heard footsteps. He stopped what he was doing and looked at Terry.
Terry gave Kenny a friendly smile. “Burning the midnight oil?”
Kenny was nervous. “I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight. I figured I might as well get some extra practice in.”
Terry was sympathetic. “You've got pre-fight jitters.”
Kenny sighed. “Whoever they put up, I'll be fighting someone with way more experience. He'll be bigger than me. Stronger than me.”
Terry tried to cheer Kenny up. “Hey. Don’t count yourself out. Before I started training in the Way of the Fist, do you know what they called me? Twig.”
Kenny looked at Terry in disbelief. “Really?”
Terry chuckled. “Oh, yeah.”
Terry gave Kenny a kind smile. “But I didn’t let it stop me. You're on your way to becoming one of the best.”
Terry started thinking about Daniel, Johnny, Miguel, and Robby.
“LaRusso, Lawrence, Diaz, Keene…” Terry paused. Unable to bear the thought of Daniel, Johnny, Miguel, and Robby, he shook his head in disgust. “They’ve all had their time in the sun.”
Terry gave Kenny a kind smile. “Now it's your turn.”
Kenny appeared to be less nervous now.
Terry walked up to the dummy. “Let me show you something. My master taught me this years ago. I've made a few tweaks. I call it the Silver Bullet.”
Kenny chuckled. “That's good.”
Terry bent the index finger and the middle finger of his right hand, then he formed a fist and punched the dummy’s solar plexus.
The solar plexus, also known as the celiac plexus, was a network of nerves situated at the upper part of a person’s abdomen.
Terry looked at Kenny and grinned. “You like that, huh? If you strike with the right speed and trajectory, right between the ribs, you can cause your opponent significant damage. Literally take their breath away!”
“Aits!” Terry yelled.
Terry bent the index finger and the middle finger of his right hand, then he formed a fist and punched the dummy’s solar plexus.
There was a hole in the dummy’s chest.
Kenny was conflicted. Terry’s technique intrigued him, but he didn’t think Terry should be excited about causing significant damage to an opponent.
“But Sensei…” Kenny paused. “You already get a point for hitting the chest. Why go for extra damage?”
Terry spoke evilly. “Because the shortest distance to victory in a fight is to take out your opponent with one shot.”
Kenny was no longer conflicted.
A malicious look formed on Kenny’s face. “Show me again.”
The next day, Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, the Miyagi-Do students, and the Eagle Fang students arrived at Cobra Kai’s flagship dojo. They could see a smoothie bar and some tables with water pitchers on them. They could also see the Cobra Kai students and the Cobra Kai senseis. Kim Da-Eun’s arms were crossed.
Bert was in awe. “Whoa! It's like a Cobra starship.”
Mitch was jealous. “They have a smoothie bar. No fair!”
Mitch’s eyes landed on a trio of female Cobra Kai students. He thought they were pretty. He gave them a flirtatious smile. They giggled.
Bert looked embarrassed. He slapped Mitch’s arm.
Sam’s eyes landed on Tory. She and Tory glared at each other.
“Nichols! Come here!” Kim yelled.
Tory approached Kim.
“You beat the LaRusso girl before. Make this fight quick.” Kim told Tory.
Kenny’s eyes landed on Eli.
Eli was rolling his shoulders. He noticed that Kenny was looking at him. He snickered. Kenny didn’t let Eli’s derision affect him.
Kenny saw that Robby was coaching Kenny. An angry look formed on his face.
“Keene!” Kenny yelled.
Kenny walked towards Robby and Anthony. Robby made sure that Anthony was out of Kenny’s way. Robby looked at Kenny with a poker face.
“That's some messed up shit,” Kenny muttered. “You training the kid who bullied me.”
Robby was calm. “Heard you're doing the bullying now.”
“He deserves everything that comes to him,” Kenny growled.
“I don't think you believe that. I know how things can start from nothing and get bigger and bigger until all you feel is hate. I've been there.” Robby said.
Miguel could hear what Kenny and Robby were saying. Robby looked at Miguel. He nodded at Robby, as if to say he had Robby’s back.
“But I'm telling you, it is so much better to let that hate go. You and Anthony might actually get along if you got to know each other.” Robby said.
Kenny scoffed. “Yeah, right. He made my life a living hell. He's the reason I came to you in the first place.”
Kenny taunted Robby. “You know what? You’re lucky you’re not on the mat today.”
Kenny looked dismissively at Eli. “I guess Hawk will have to do.”
Kenny walked away.
Eli overheard what Kenny and Robby said.
Eli walked up to Robby.
“Don’t worry. I’ll shut him up.” Eli said.
“Don't go too hard on him. You remember what it's like to be in Cobra Kai. It's not Kenny talking.” Robby said. His eyes landed on Terry, who was standing next to Kim. “It’s Silver.”
Eli thought remorsefully about his time in Cobra Kai.
Eli reluctantly nodded at Robby's request to show mercy to Kenny.
“Yeah.” Eli said.
The Sekai Taikai committee members were standing on a mat. Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen were on one side of them. Terry and Kim were on the other. Terry was smiling arrogantly. Kim was smiling icily.
Gunther spoke. “Thank you, Sensei Silver, for offering to host these matches in your dojo on such short notice.”
Daniel looked at Chozen.
“Offering or demanding?” Daniel asked dryly.
Terry overheard Daniel.
Terry gave Daniel a condescending smile. “Well, we do have actual tournament regulation mats here, so it was really the only option.”
“We’ll begin with the boys. We have invited a local referee to assure impartiality.” Gunther said.
The referee bowed.
Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen bowed to the referee. Terry didn’t look at the referee. Kim looked at the referee like he was beneath her.
“First to three points wins.” Gunther said.
The Miyagi-Do students, the Eagle Fang students, and the Cobra Kai students walked towards their senseis. The Sekai Taikai committee members sat at a table. The referee stood next to the table.
“Time to begin. Eli Moskowitz and Kenny Payne, please take the mat.” Gunther said.
Eli was standing next to Robby. Kenny was standing in front of Terry.
Terry gave Kenny an encouraging pat on the shoulder.
Eli and Robby did a fist bump.
Eli, Kenny, and the referee stepped onto the mat.
“Face me. Bow.” The referee told Eli and Kenny.
Eli and Kenny faced the referee and bowed.
“Face each other. Bow.” The referee told Eli and Kenny.
Eli and Kenny faced each other. Eli smirked at Kenny. He and Kenny bowed to each other.
“Ready?” The referee asked.
Eli got in a fighting position.
Kenny got in a fighting position.
“Fight!” The referee yelled.
Kenny ran towards Eli and tried to kick him, but Eli dodged the kick. He punched Eli in the stomach.
“Point! 1-0, Payne." The referee said.
Eli’s fellow students looked nervous, and so did the Eagle Fang students.
The Cobra Kai students cheered for Kenny.
“Ready?” The referee asked.
Eli got in a fighting position.
Kenny got in a fighting position.
“Fight!” The referee yelled.
Eli and Kenny circled each other. Eli looked at Kenny warily. Kenny was a more formidable opponent than he thought. Kenny looked at Eli with hatred in his eyes. Eli and Kenny blocked each other’s punches. Eli kicked Kenny. He nearly fell backward when he reached the edge of the mat, but he stayed upright.
Daniel and Johnny looked proud of Eli.
“Yes!” Johnny cheered, clapping his hands.
“Out of bounds. No point.” The referee said.
“What?” Eli looked incredulously at the referee. “What? Are you serious?”
Sarah was standing next to Miguel.
“What the hell?” Sarah murmured.
Sarah was wearing her long-sleeved red and black gi with the Eagle Fang symbol on the back. Her naturally straight blonde hair was tied up in a high ponytail. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour.
“Ref, that’s horseshit. He made contact in bounds!” Johnny yelled angrily.
“No point. Back on the line.” The referee told Eli and Kenny.
Eli returned to his side of the mat.
Kenny returned to his side of the mat.
Daniel, Johnny, and Robby tensed up.
Tory noticed Terry looking in the referee’s direction. She wondered if he bribed the referee. He was trying to maintain a poker face like the other Cobra Kai senseis. He wasn’t doing a very good job. When she saw him nod at the referee, she realized that was right about him bribing the referee.
“Ready?” The referee asked.
Eli got in a fighting position.
Kenny got in a fighting position.
“Fight!” The referee yelled.
Kenny ran towards Eli and tried to kick him, but Eli dodged the kick. He and Eli blocked each other’s punches.
Sarah quietly rooted Eli on. "Come on, Eli."
Kenny grabbed Eli’s leg. He struck Eli’s knee with the side of his hand. Eli fell, groaning in pain.
Terry smiled evilly.
“Illegal strike.” The referee said.
Kenny stood up, snarling.
Eli stood up, clutching his leg.
The referee looked at Kenny. “That's a warning. Turn and kneel.”
“Warning? He should be disqualified!” Daniel yelled angrily.
Eli limped over to Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen.
“It's fine. He just caught me off guard.” Eli said.
“Are you sure, Eli?” Daniel asked.
“No more Eli. It's time to uncage the Hawk,” Eli said toughly.
Hawk straightened his newly dyed green mohawk and limped back to his spot on the mat.
Daniel and Johnny looked proud of Hawk.
Johnny raised his fist.
Kenny was crouching on the mat.
Hawk glared at Kenny.
Daniel looked at Terry in disapproval. Terry smirked at him.
“Get back on the line.” The referee told Kenny.
Kenny returned to his spot on the mat. He and Hawk looked at each other angrily.
“Ready?” The referee asked.
Hawk got in a fighting position.
Kenny got in a fighting position.
“Fight!” The referee yelled.
Hawk ran towards Kenny and tried to kick him, but he dodged the kick. He bent the index finger and the middle finger of his right hand, then he formed a fist and punched Hawk’s solar plexus.
Hawk fell down. He groaned. His fellow students winced, and so did the Eagle Fang students. Kenny looked down at Hawk and snarled. Hawk stood up.
“Point! 2-0, Payne." The referee said.
Hawk was struggling to breathe. His fellow students looked scared, and so did the Eagle Fang students.
“Hawk!” Miguel yelled.
Daniel and Johnny ran towards the mat.
Daniel and Johnny knelt next to Hawk.
“Hawk, what’s wrong?” Johnny asked.
Hawk struggled to speak. “I can't...Can't...Can't breathe.”
The referee looked at Hawk and asked, “Can you continue?”
Hawk tried to stand up. He immediately fell down.
“Where’s the medic?!” Johnny yelled.
The medic ran up to Hawk.
“That's a forfeit. Winner: Payne.” The referee grabbed Kenny’s arm and lifted it.
Hawk’s fellow students looked disappointed, and so did the Eagle Fang students.
“What?!” Miguel yelled.
Kenny’s fellow students, with the exception of Tory, cheered for him. They were too naïve to realize that Terry had bribed the referee.
Terry looked at the referee and nodded in approval. A few seconds later, he turned away from the referee. Neither of them noticed that Tory was watching them.
Kenny stepped off the mat. His fellow students, with the exception of Tory, gave him a pat on the back and high-fived him.
The medic was tending to Hawk. “Breathe.”
Hawk took a breath.
The medic looked at Daniel and Johnny. “I think he’s okay. He just got the wind knock out of him.”
The medic walked away.
Kenny stepped onto the mat and walked up to Hawk.
A cocky smile formed on Kenny’s face. “Looks like you’ve got a new name. Faux-Hawk.”
Kyler and some other male Cobra Kai students laughed.
Hawk frowned and looked down at the mat.
Robby looked at Kenny in disappointment.
Daniel and Johnny wrapped their arms around Hawk’s shoulders and helped him stand up. They led him to his fellow students and the Eagle Fang students.
Daniel and Johnny glared at Terry and Kim.
Gunther spoke. “We begin our girls' fight. Samantha LaRusso and Tory Nichols, please take the mat.”
Tory was nowhere to be found.
Kim approached Devon.
“Where is she?” Kim asked angrily.
Devon was baffled. “I don't know. I mean, she was just here.”
Terry was standing behind Kim.
“What do you mean you don't know?” Terry asked.
Terry looked at the rest of the Cobra Kai students. “What happened to Nichols?”
Nobody said anything.
Terry walked away.
Hawk was sitting in between the medic and Johnny. He was holding a water bottle. He had a frown on his face.
Hawk’s fellow students looked nervous, and so did the Eagle Fang students.
Daniel approached his daughter. “Sam. Hey. They're fighting dirty. This is dangerous. You don't have to do this.”
“I know. But I can handle it. This is for all of us.” Sam said.
Chozen was standing behind Daniel.
Sam bowed.
Daniel and Chozen bowed.
Daniel looked proud of Sam.
Sam stood in front of the Sekai Taikai committee members and bowed.
Sam stepped onto the mat.
The Sekai Taikai committee members continued to wait for Tory.
“Tory Nichols?” Gunther sounded annoyed.
Robby looked at Miguel and Sarah. “Tory's not here. Something happened.”
Miguel and Sarah could tell that Robby was worried about Tory.
Terry walked up to Kim. “She's not out there. We need a female fighter.”
“We have one.” Kim said.
“I’ll go let him know.” Terry walked away.
Terry approached the referee.
Kim got Devon’s attention. “Miss Lee!”
“Yes, Sensei?” Devon asked.
“Are you ready?” Kim asked.
“You want me to fight Sam LaRusso?” Devon asked.
“No. I want you to defeat her. Or are you too afraid?” Kim asked.
“No, Sensei.” Devon said.
“Then show me.” Kim told Devon.
Devon stepped onto the mat.
“Face me. Bow.” The referee told Sam and Devon.
Sam and Devon faced the referee and bowed.
“Face each other. Bow.” The referee told Sam and Devon.
Sam and Devon faced each other and bowed.
“Ready?” The referee asked.
Sam got in a fighting position.
Devon got in a fighting position.
“Fight!” The referee yelled.
It appeared that Sam scored the first point, but the referee ruled the strike out of bounds and told Sam and Devon to keep fighting. He further displayed his corruption by awarding a point to Devon despite Sam blocking her attack. Sam called for a time-out.
“Go to your senseis.” The referee told Sam and Devon.
Sam approached Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen.
Devon approached Terry and Kim.
Sam was angry. “I blocked that! And I got her below the shoulder.”
Daniel took a deep breath. “All right, look. Not every point is going to go our way.”
“Those calls put me down a point. I should be up one! If I lose the match because of it...” Sam trailed off.
Miguel walked up to Sam.
“Sam, you're the better fighter. Everyone knows it. The ref might not be doing you any favours, but you've got us in your corner. All of us.” Miguel said.
Chozen spoke. “Referee is moron. Must not leave room for error.”
“He's right. You make every point undeniable.” Daniel told Sam.
Chozen spoke to Sam in Japanese. His words translated to “Do your best.”
The fight resumed. Sam scored three consecutive points. The points were undeniable. The referee couldn’t ignore them without making his bias obvious.
“Winner: LaRusso.” The referee grabbed Sam’s arm and lifted it.
Daniel smiled proudly.
Sam’s fellow students cheered for her, and so did the Eagle Fang students.
Sam and Devon walked away from the mat.
Sam walked up to her fellow students, the Eagle Fang students, Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen.
Devon walked up to Kim.
Daniel hugged Sam. “I am so proud of you, Sam. That was incredible.”
Sam smiled. “Jersey tough.”
Daniel smiled. “Jersey tough. It’s all you.”
Sam and Daniel did a fist bump.
Chozen smiled at Sam. “Samantha-san.”
Chozen yelled something in Japanese. It translated to “You did it.”
Sam and Chozen hugged.
Sam’s fellow students, the Eagle Fang students, and Johnny pulled her into a hug.
Kim was frowning. Her arms were crossed.
Devon looked ashamed. “I'm sorry, Sensei.”
“You apologize? For what?” Kim asked.
“I didn't win.” Devon said.
“And whose fault is that? Your leader failed you and your teammates by disappearing.” Kim said.
“I'm sure Tory had a good reason.” Devon said.
“It does not matter. If she is not ready to lead, then I must make sure you are.” Kim responded.
The Sekai Taikai committee members declared that Cobra Kai had qualified for the tournament. They were equally impressed with Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang. Gunther announced that Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang had also qualified for the tournament, much to Terry’s chagrin.
“Congratulations, gentlemen, and welcome to the Sekai Taikai. We just need your dojo's name.” Gunther said.
Johnny spoke. “We are Miyagi-Do.”
Daniel spoke. “And we are Eagle Fang.”
Gunther looked confused. The representative from Japan whispered in his ear.
“Well, which is it?” Gunther asked Daniel and Johnny.
Daniel sighed. “To be honest, it's not just one or the other. We represent two opposing philosophies coming together and finding common ground when none seemed possible.”
“That’s right.” Johnny said.
Johnny referenced Rocky IV. “If I can change and you can change, everybody can change.”
Gunther understood the reference. He smiled and nodded.
Johnny gestured to Gunther. “He gets it.”
“I do.” Gunther said.
Gunther and Johnny raised their fists.
“Nevertheless, we still need one name to enter. You don't have to decide now, but we need an answer soon. For now, congratulations, everyone, and welcome to the Sekai Taikai.” Gunther said.
The Sekai Taikai committee members left.
Miguel spoke to Sam. “Maybe one day, we'll both win.”
Daniel looked at the Miyagi-Do students and the Eagle Fang students. “We've all earned this. Each and every one of you brought your A-game. I couldn’t be prouder. With this tournament in our future, we've got a lot of work to do. But tonight...Tonight, go celebrate!”
The Miyagi-Do students and the Eagle Fang students cheered.
Miguel’s arm was wrapped around Robby’s shoulder. They were smiling.
Hawk and Sarah were standing next to Miguel and Robby. His arm was wrapped around her waist. They had smiles on their faces.
Johnny looked at Miguel. “Hey. Listen, I told your mom I'd take her and Rosa out to dinner and a movie, so you guys are on your own if you want to host that celebration.”
Miguel was throwing a party at Johnny, Sarah, and Robby’s apartment.
An upbeat song was playing. People were drinking beer, dancing, and playing beer pong.
Hawk, Sarah, Miguel, and Robby were in the kitchen.
Sarah was standing next to Hawk. Miguel was standing next to Sarah. Robby was sitting on the counter.
Hawk’s mohawk was no longer green.
Sarah was wearing a white tank top that stopped a few inches above her belly button and showed off the lower part of her flat stomach, dark blue denim jeans, and black low-top Converse sneakers with white laces. Her naturally straight blonde hair was down. She had on a light amount of black eyeliner, a light amount of black mascara, and soft brown eyeshadow. Her lip balm was a pretty peach colour.
“What…Uh…Happened to the green?” Robby asked Hawk.
“Uh…Didn't really work for me, so…Still…Uh, figuring it out.” Hawk said.
“Dude, this is insane! How did everyone find out about this?” Miguel asked Hawk.
“Moon and Riley invited a ton of people from East Valley. I guess the word got out.” Hawk said.
A trio of girls arrived at the party.
“Hey. Came to party with us 'cause we got into the Sekai Taikai?” Mitch asked the girls.
“I have no idea what you just said. We came to drink.” One of the girls said. She had brown hair.
“The Sekai Taikai...” Mitch trailed off.
Hawk looked at Mitch and waved his hands in a “shoo” gesture. “Penis Breath, grab the girl a cup.”
Mitch walked away.
Miguel and the brown-haired girl exchanged a flirtatious look.
Hawk wrapped his arm around Miguel’s shoulder. “Anyway, let me introduce you to the biggest badass at the party.”
Sam took an Uber to Miguel, Johnny, Sarah, and Robby’s apartment complex. She thanked the Uber driver, then she walked into Johnny, Sarah, and Robby’s apartment.
Miguel and the brown-haired girl were making out on the couch.
Sam was hurt. As she walked out of the living room, she bumped into Chris. He was holding a cup of beer. Some of the beer got on his shirt.
“Oh, shit! Major party foul, Sam!” Chris yelled.
Miguel pulled away from the brown-haired girl. He made eye contact with Sam.
Sam started walking towards the door.
“Wait. No. Sam! Wait up! Hey! Sam!” Miguel chased Sam. He couldn’t catch up to her.
Sam walked through the door. She started crying.
“LaRusso.”
Sam heard Tory’s voice and turned around.
Sam raised her fists.
“What are you doing here?” Sam asked angrily.
Tory held up her hand. “I'm not here to fight. I came to talk.”
Sam lowered her fists.
“About what?” Sam asked.
“You didn't lose the All-Valley.” Tory said.
Sam was shocked.
