I’m on a Frodo Baggins kick right now, but am still obsessed with a ton of other characters.

Hobbies:

Thanks to injuries, COVID stealing my singing voice 3 years ago, and my clarinet being broken my hobbies have definitely diminished. Right now it’s basically just reading, and watching shows and movies, maybe a smidge of writing. Does getting obsessive and anxious about the internet/social media count as a hobby?

Obsessions:

Sam Winchester, Star Wars, Supernatural, The Lord of the Rings, Never Have I Ever. Background obsessions are everywhere, like Doctor Who, Teen Wolf. Mention it and I’ll be talking for hours.

Favorite genre/type of background music for whump daydreams?

Cinematic alternative.

What is your favorite whump trope?

Captivity! Once read the second half of a book in a day because the main character got captured.

What was (one of) the first time(s) you experienced whumperflies?

The first was probably either while reading the Gone series by Michael Grant, or watching Teen Wolf. I vividly remember some of my first whumperflies being from watching season 7 of Supernatural and realizing what Lucifer had done to Sam in the Cage. Now ANY of their scenes give me whumperflies.

What’s your favorite whump scene from a piece of media?

Episode 3x18 “Riddled” from Teen Wolf. Everything with Stiles in that episode!! I have watched this over and over again just to see Stiles missing and getting tortured in his sleep. His SCREAMS. I’d recognize them anywhere. He’s getting hypothermia, and there’s a fucking steel jaw trap on his leg!!!

What’s a book you would recommend, whump or not?

Hmm, this is tough because I read so much. Probably the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas because of it being epic fantasy with most of the last book being battles, and there is definitely a lot of whump.

What’s your favorite whump fic?

Some of them are definitely my own. Sorry. But damn, can we praise Infernal Fascination? Would get a link, but you know, AO3 is going through it.

I chose a shipwrecked, but of course I made it a bit castaway themed. :D I don't quite have a story, but let's say they were on a romantic boat trip, vacationing in a tropical archipelago and a bad storm caught them by surprise. That violent storm then capsized their boat and they ended up on a deserted island, with a violent swell beating what was left of the boat to pieces against the rocks. Barbara wakes up while it's still dark, but of course she can't check the time or anything else because her wristwatch has been ruined, and both their mobile phones have fallen into the depths of the sea. She looks around and realises they are on a deserted island with no idea where they are, and no map to look at. But Barbara doesn't dwell on this and starts to act. She has to build a shelter, and fast, because Walter, in his troll form, can't stand the sunlight. So she works and manages to cobble together some sort of shelter, where she drags the still unconscious Walter. As she drags Walter along, Barbara groans at how heavy Walter is, but then remembers that his skin is made of stone. But after a lot of hard work, she finally gets Walter under cover, and just in time, because the sun had already begun to rise. Next, Barbara made a fire and a fishing rod to catch something to eat, for now she had not dared to check what fruit the jungle had to offer.

Opening the Sims today, I suddenly noticed that this npc’s last name was Galadrigal. 

This took me by surprise, because I was 99% sure it had been something else before. After all, I would’ve noticed if a default npc just so happened to share an unusual surname with Blinky, right?

So I opened up her info in MC Command Center and...

One, I just when through the blogs I’m following and it did some things to me emotionally, but the biggest thing is that I unfollowed a bunch of blogs that haven’t been active in years! I also realized just how few blogs I follow to begin with, so, I’m looking to shake things up a little!

Thus, I am looking for new blogs to follow, new friends to make, and hopefully new stuff to liven up my dash. See I was thinking about this because Not!Sasha would definitely be a polymorph changeling in a tma!toa au but like opposite of the au im doing where instead of the fears being in arcadia trolls are in london.

Also I saw this ask earlier today and I did spend the whole day thinking about the concept of Jonathan Sims Head Archivist of The Magnus Institute, London being given the Trollhunter amulet and just, the amount that I don't think he would enjoy that At All aksjldfhalksjhfd

joethehoeee, You didn't bother me at all. In fact, I'm flattered. 

Strickler is my favourite character in Trollhunters too, especially his troll form, which looks very much like his voice actor. But not just because of that, but also because I really like the original voice actor (Jonathan Hyde), and I couldn't even imagine anyone else as Strickler anyways. Well, maybe Sir Christopher Lee if he were still alive. 

Oh and I have made Strickler as a sim to my The Sims 4 game. And thanks to @zaneida-and-sims4​ cc’s he looks almost like in the series. :D And also Barbara too, of course. My favourite couple. :)
