I recently played through Dream Daddy and read your fic. Came for the gay dads, but now I'm left with more feels than I know what to do with. I want to ask about your policy on fanart? And tangibly related ... I've been visualizing Gene as a twink lol please tell me if I'm wrong

Hello and welcome, and yes I love fanart! :D It's immensely flattering when I hear that someone liked my fic enough to make art of it.

And yeah, Gene is pretty twinky for a 38-year-old. There's a bit from the as-yet-unpublished final chapter where they're having a conversation about whether Robert would actually want to be young again--

"No," he says at last. "I'm alright with where I am now. And besides, I don't think you're into younger men."

"I'm really not," Gene agrees. "I can't abide anyone younger and twinkier than me. It makes me want to shank them."

Anyway, this was what Gene looked like when I was playing the game:

(kind of palette swapped, but still, the resemblance to my headcanon for how he looked in “The Old College Try” was kind of uncanny.)
