7 Deadly Sins is so unappolagetically cringe and whimsy. It's like introducing your friends to your cat who you love so so much, cuz he's silly and funny and actually really smart. but objectively, it's the ugliest critter you will ever see.
#nanatsu no taizai#7 deadly sins#4kota#watching 4kota I finally understand the derailing of yugioh designs over the years#Percy's power is literally the power of friendship#my friend described their designs as DeviantArt OC's and I could not think of any better way to describe it#but then there's like...#Gawain being the lesbian we all deserve#and cinnamon roll tristan#and next gen characters coming from actual deep relationships and not last-minute match ups#like. Jericcho being in love with Lancelot is so messed up. but it makes so much sense!#and her bei g aware of it and ashamed of herself is so human#still don't get what's Arthur's deal but#the ep with the camelot knight who was so angry about living in peace with demons#because they fucking massacred his hometown and baby daughter!#that shit hits me man!#(surprised she's ACTUALLY dead tho. like.... death is heavily overrated in nnt)#how often did Helbramm and Malescula die honestly#also how cool is it that they all got king arthur inspired names???#and the 4 calamities? the 10 commandments?? I'm eating that shit up#also please please please let next gen be actual gay and not just bait 🙏#please give me percyxnasiens gawainxisolde and tristanxlancelot??

what are some of your favorite portrayals (medieval or retellings it doesn't matter) or sir kay?
Hi anon! Why, I'm so glad you asked. I love Sir Kay in all his forms. :^) I'll write out a complete list of my favorite portrayals of him across the board from Medieval Literature to Modern retellings, movies, and TV shows, that way everyone can find what medium suits them best. Links to read and watch everything are provided.
Medieval
The Black Book of Carmarthen
The first mention of Cei's existence! "Cei the Fair," a tall knight, is described battling a giant cat.
Cullhwch and Olwen
An obvious banger. Cai has his supernatural powers of growing as large as a tree, holding his breath for nine days, & "hot hands." He apparently uses this for blacksmithing. He & Bedwyr are inseparable.
The History of the Kings of Britain by Geoffrey of Monmouth
Caius helps Arthur & Bedevere kill the giant of Mont St Michael. After Bedevere is slain in battle, Caius suffers a mortal wound while retrieving his body from the field.
Peredur, Perceval, Parzival, & Didot Perceval
Peredur/Perceval/Parzival breaking Cai/Kay’s collarbone/arm is iconic. His pain is so funny to me.
Owain, Yvain, Iwein, & Ywain
Without Cai/Kay hadn't been busting Cynon/Calogrenant/Kalogreant's balls about his failed quest, Owain/Yvain/Iwein/Ywain wouldn't have met his wife. The seneschal is silly with it.
The Crown by Heinrich von dem Türlin
Keii is the ultimate seneschal. Arthur values him highly & sends him on important errands. He’s insanely melodramatic & kisses Gawain’s severed head. Repeatedly. His grief covers many pages.
Jaufre
Another silly ass Kay. He gets the first line in the story & immediately squabbles with Arthur. Brother behavior.
The Vulgate
Kay is important as Arthur's foster brother & seneschal. Lots of scenes repeated from the previous stories like fighting the giant of Mont St Michael, butting heads with Perceval, etc. but expanded upon. He's worsties with Mordred & just all around a fun guy.
La Tavola Ritonda
Chieso is such a guy. He isn't even mad when Tristan beats him up because it was so cool then his nephew Agravano patches him up.
Le Morte d'Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory
You know this is because of the kitchen boy storyline. It's peak. Beaumains is Kay's little guy. He was mean to him to make him grow they're besties later I swear.
Middle English Poems
These are about Gawain but Kay & Gawain go together like bread & butter. I especially like Kay's involvement in Gawain's marriage to Ragnelle, becoming her friend after the curse is broken.
Retellings
The Story of King Arthur and His Knights by Howard Pyle (1903)
The Story of the Champions of the Round Table by Howard Pyle (1905)
The Story of Sir Launcelot and His Companions by Howard Pyle (1907)
The Story of The Grail and The Passing of Arthur by Howard Pyle (1910)
Howard Pyle's series is near & dear to me, highly recommend. The illustrations are great & Kay feels nuanced. He can be a curmudgeon, but especially in the case with Beaumains, he was responding to Gareth's impudence toward Arthur. Basically he didn't start it, but he's going to finish it.
Arthur the Bear of Britain by Edward Frankland (1944)
Kai is Arthur's standard bearer & one of his toughest warriors throughout the wars. He's described as "having the wits of five men and the strength of ten."
The Eagles Have Flown by Henry Treece (1954)
The Great Captains by Henry Treece (1956)
The Green Man by Henry Treece (1966)
Treece wrote the same story three different ways, with Kai & Bedwyr as Arthur's closest companions, & Medraut as the wedge between them. Each book stands on its own as a complete story. The Eagles Have Flown is an illustrated chapter book for a younger audience so it has less of the darker themes the other two contain (such as incest & torture).
The Queen’s Knight by Marvin Borowsky (1955)
Kay is Arthur's foster brother & seneschal, described as "self-important as a little terrier." Later he gets mixed up in Mordred's schemes but ultimately backs down, while still protecting Mordred's homosexuality from the scrutiny of the court. Fascinating character.
Arthur of the Britons by Rex Edwards (1975)
Novelization of the 1972-1973 tv show. It opens like a prequel with Arthur & Kai as orphans newly adopted by Llud before catching up in time to the show where it adapts the encounters with Mark & others.
The Acts of King Arthur and His Noble Knights by John Steinbeck (1976)
One of my favorite books ever. Steinbeck understood the assignment. Has the Kay quote which sets the standard by which all other Kays are measured: "Kay must be mean so the king can be generous."
Hawk of May by Gillian Bradshaw (1980)
Kingdom of Summer by Gillian Bradshaw (1981)
In Winter’s Shadow by Gillian Bradshaw (1982)
Be prepared to feel every emotion. Cei is great here 10/10 no notes.
Idylls of The Queen by Phyllis Ann Karr (1982)
The Coming of the Light by Phyllis Ann Karr (1992)
The Follies of Sir Harald by Phyllis Ann Karr (2001) [Going to scan soon!]
Arthurian Tales by Phyllis Ann Karr (2022)
Everything Karr writes is gold. Kay features prominently in all of them. Idylls of the Queen is first person Kay perspective retelling the apple poisoning incident from Malory, Arthurian Tales also has a lot of Kay focus, although it's an anthology with several different povs including Mordred.
Sir Gawain and The Loathly Lady by Selina Hastings & Juan Wijngaard (1985)
Illustrated picture book of the Wedding poem, including Kay looking really dapper.
The Quest for Olwen by Gwyn Thomas, Kevin Crossley-Holland, & Margaret Jones (1988)
Illustrated picture book of Culhwch & Olwen, two page spread of Cai & Bedwyr riding the giant salmon to rescue Mabon.
The Knight with The Lion by John Howe (1996)
Illustrated picture book of Yvain's story which includes a gorgeously rendered joust with Kay donning his key-shaped regalia.
The Hunt of the Hart Royal by Cherith Baldry (1996)
The Trial of Sir Kay by Cherith Baldry (1997)
Exiled From Camelot by Cherith Baldry (2001)
The Last Knight of Camelot by Cherith Baldry (2024)
Everything Baldry writes is also gold. Exiled From Camelot is a retelling of Perlesvaus with Kay, Gawain, & Gareth povs. The Last Knight of Camelot is a new anthology with many stories, mostly Kay.
In Camelot’s Shadow by Sarah Zettel (2004)
For Camelot’s Honor by Sarah Zettel (2005)
Under Camelot’s Banner by Sarah Zettel (2006)
By Camelot’s Blood by Sarah Zettel (2012)
Old man Kai acts as a frame story retelling the events of his nephews, Gawain, Agravain, Geraint, & Gareth's, & their lives with their wives, Ragnelle, Laurel, Enid, & Lynet. Kai is present throughout but especially book 3, Gareth/Lynet.
Movies
Sword of Lancelot (1963)
Kay is the old, hard of hearing seneschal of Arthur's court. He's funny & nice to newcomer Tor & the kids at Arthur & Guinevere's wedding.
Lancelot du Lac (1970)
Pretty much identical to his Knight of the Cart counterpart. Running his mouth a lot & advising Arthur, sometimes shushed by Gauvain or Yvain.
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1970)
Animated movie in which Kay is the one to discover Hank & bring him to Arthur. Present at Arthur's side throughout the film.
Perceval (1978)
An adaptation of Chretien's Perceval, so Kay is knocking jesters into fires, slapping maidens, & getting his arm broken by Perceval.
Excalibur (1981)
The Kay ever. Raised alongside Arthur, tries to claim he pulled Excalibur from the stone, then stays at Arthur's side as seneschal the rest of his life. Trains Percival in the kitchens & to be Lancelot's squire, tends to Arthur's health during the grail quest & protects him from Mordred, then follows Arthur into the battle at Camlann.
Knightriders (1981)
Kay is an early opponent of Mordred, they "joust" on their motorcycles so Mordred can test his new weapon, Kay has an axe.
Merlin and The Sword (1985)
Kai is Arthur's seneschal, unclear if they're brothers but certainly great friends. Arthur hugs him immediately on his return. Kai talks about managing the household, finding suitable rooms for the guests like Pellinore. Later he challenges Mordred's authority when he attempts to usurp. Gawain leaves Ragnelle in his charge while he returns to the dungeon to help Lancelot bring Guinevere home. Kai is the last one to see Arthur alive before he's slain by Mordred & shown mourning at the funeral.
Sir Lanval (2011)
Colorful indie movie retelling Marie of France's Sir Lanval, Kay is Arthur's foster brother & seneschal, who's forced to play middle man between Guinevere, Arthur, & Lanval. He's both the prosecutor & the defense team in the trial. Fun hat!
King Arthur: Excalibur Rising (2017)
This movie is bad. But Kay & Bedivere are shown kicking ass in the intro depicting the battle of Camlann. Later after Owain, one of Arthur's bastards & the main character, is grown up, we see that Bedivere is caring for an ailing Kay, still using his title to honor him.
TV Shows
The Adventures of Sir Galahad (1949)
Kay is Arthur's seneschal & keeper of the sword Excalibur. He explains to all newcomers, including Galahad, the origin story of how Arthur obtained it from the lady of the lake & then charges the new knights to stand guard overnight. After Galahad is drugged & the sword is taken, Kay & the others set out to try & find it. Kay is often shown to side with Mordred's harsher approach, but can be talked down by Lancelot into Galahad's favor. In the end his motivation is always to serve Arthur the best he can.
The Adventures of Sir Lancelot (1956-1957)
Kay is Arthur's seneschal & right hand man seated beside him at the Round Table. He's largely a comedic character who resists change, such as letting Brian the kitchen boy into the fellowship of the Round Table. He's not a bad guy though, more like Devil's advocate, who eventually gets proven wrong. He sometimes accompanies Lancelot on his adventures.
Arthur of the Britons (1972-1973)
Kai is Arthur's adopted Saxon brother, both were raised by Llud after they were orphaned. Kai is often used to conduct secret missions regarding the Saxons since he can blend in with them. He loves Arthur but they also fight a lot & Kai is secretly very good with kids. A balanced & wonderful portrayal.
BBC The Legend of King Arthur (1979)
BBC produced mini series covering the entirety of Arthur's story. Kay is only in the first episode as Arthur's foster brother, both beloved by their father Ector.
Knights of the Round Table anime (1979-1981)
Kay is Arthur's foster brother & later knighted & put in charge of the castle while Arthur ventures out with Lancelot, Tristan, Galahad, & Percival. Toward the end of the series, Kay is slain in battle & dies in Arthur's arms.
Starz Camelot (2011)
Babygirl. Played by the dreamy Peter Mooney, Kay is Arthur's foster brother & made marshal of the realm after Arthur's crowning. He's the sweetest ever, teaching Gawain to read, & speaking of Ector so fondly all the time, using his love of books to help people. He's a solid fighter & goes on all the missions.

dagonet yaoi ranked
dagonet x arthur: the obvious one! arthur loves dagonet and respects him and trusts him more than his knights when shit starts hitting the fan near the end. and needless to say dagonet is a devoted freak about arthur (that whole monologue about how he wants to be put on a leash and whimper at his feet comes to mind) so they're textbook king/jester yaoi except sweeter because there's never any backstabbing or abuse. 10/10
dagonet x merlin: toxic mentor/mentee relationship when they're younger but kind of sweet in a cringe old man way when they're just two old freaks. ea robinson wrote them as camelot's final girls that leave camelot together and grieve their king in each other's arms at a nearby tavern. 8/10
dagonet x kay: kay causes him bodily harm whenever they share a scene which makes sense since dagonet's whole job is to run his mouth and kay is very easily offended. but sometimes they play practical jokes on enemies together? also they are both influential and close with arthur but nobody takes them seriously bc they're gay and annoying. which makes them perfect for my clown4clown agenda. :) 11/10
dagonet x gawain: similarly to arthur, gawain loves and respects dagonet - sometimes he's even the one who knights him instead of arthur (everyone booed)! they swap narrative roles the closer the story gets to the fall of camelot as dagonet acts as a more serious figure warning everyone about how the end is nigh while gawain becomes the Fool whose hatred and rash decisions guarantee the end will be nigh. lots of fun characterization to work with. plus they genuinely like each other! 9/10
dagonet x lancelot: i don't think there's much going on between them aside from the story where dagonet thinks himself unworthy of even attempting the grail quest but then the grail secretly manifests for him when lancelot is injured and near death and he uses it to save him and never tells anyone what happened. kind of sweet! i love 19th/20th century arthuriana, i do. 6/10
dagonet x dinadan: i personally think they should unionize against the jocks but dinadan is funny in a cool girl way while dagonet is funny in a cringe theatre kid way so they probably steer clear of each other. sad! 3/10
dagonet x tristan: tristan tried to drown dagonet during one of his hissy fits but it's tristan so i can't really spin this into homoeroticism the way i can with kay. not least bc he drowned him so hard dagonet stopped appearing in texts for like 500 years after that one. 0/10
#all of this is from modern arthuriana like 1800s onwards aside from tristan and kay's abuse and gawain/arthur knighting him#dagonet was NOT thriving in the medieval times i can tell you that much#dagonet#arthuriana

Arthurian lads I think would do me a favour and snick off my head as I have a v bad headache:
0. Geraint - he'd refuse to but only because then he could laugh at my pain. I'd behead him if I could.
1. The Green Knight - he wouldn't even need to be like 'this is a Christmas game' I'd just let him. He'd be v good at it. Would save me a fortune in paracetamol.
2. Agravaine/Gaheris - defo hotheaded enough to do it. I'd probably have to sleep with Morgause first which I would be down for but then I'd probably get decapitated in a forest.
3. Gawain - he beheaded a maiden by accident. I'd trust him but I fear it would be wrong to do so. Think I'll stick to paracetamol, thanks Gawain.
4. Morgan - u know I think she'd be down for it if it helped with her plans honestly. I'm just going off vibes for this.
5. Tristan - I think he'd say yes but get distracted by Isolde. Tbf I think I too would get distracted by Isolde so 🤷
6. Lancelot - he would behead me but I do think he'd either cry or he'd show off my head to Guinevere and I don't want that. The crying thing I'm cool with but like I'd have to brush my hair before I got beheaded so I could look my best and that's effort I don't possess.
7. Guinevere - I think she would behead me without question. I respect her hugely and would let her do whatever she wanted. She doesn't have an air but she should be given one.
7. Percival - u know he'd refuse and just give me paracetamol instead.
8. Gareth - he's giving me paracetamol and water.
10. Enid - she's a sweetheart so she's letting me chill in a dark room also.
11. Arthur - you know I think he'd bumble his way through everything but he'd be good at not beheading me. Probably has a secret stash of paracetamol hidden in the armoury for when Kay and Bedievere need it cuz they're dealing with his shit.

Happy Birthday for Tristan Prince of Liones 🎊🎁 05.02
✨ it's also his sons birthday on 6th May, I was pretty surprised when i read that both have only a few days apart. I use random no. for my characters :) it was also pretty cool that Galahads birthday is 08.07 and Constantine on 05.06 I like the similiarity of the date
more Tristan for his birthday x3 I still remember when I saw him first I disliked the design so much xD it looked so bad mixed between his parents. But when I read and saw how he is, he quickly become one of my most fave 4kota charas. I love his chivalry so much
I wasn't sure what to draw so I made something similiar like I did with Lancelot and Galahad last week ❤️ Maybe I do one with Percy and Gawain as well x3
(I'll not wait till the next birthdays of them xP

🦄🐴🥫?
🦄 – favorite creature/creature story: okay so the objective answer would be The Questing Beast however I am very attached to The Lion from kotl, for the following reasons:
fought a dragon (why?? what beef did it have with the dragon??)
understands the concept of honor and decided to form a pact with ywain (trade offer. you receive: a cool lion sidekick who wins battles for you. it receives: ???)
uses it/its pronouns. slay.
much stronger than a regular lion. is it actually a lion? we can’t actually know
the drawing of it on my cover of chrétien de troyes’ romances bears a spooky resemblance to my dog
🐴 – what do I think gringolet looks like: okay so the first time I ever read about gringolet was in the squire’s tales (shocker) in which gawain is like o yah he’s an aughisky :) and then does not extrapolate. at the time I just assumed that was a kind of Scottish horse breed, but uhhh. no. ‘aughisky’ is the anglicized version of each-uisge, which is sort of like kelpie if kelpies were exclusively marine and much, much more vicious. anyway in the book he’s described as being big and black and ‘possessing of an evil eye’ which younger me interpreted to mean kind of like a Kladruber horse (pictured below). only gringolet is 19 hands tall and has shark teeth, and the surface of him feels Wrong to the touch– cold and damp and strangely sticky. oh, and you should never look too closely at his hooves. and–

🥫– who wouldn’t be able to handle the modern world: lancelot is a nervous wreck as it is so really any change of scenery is going to result in him having a murderous panic attack. uhmm also tristan would accidentally electrocute himself within five seconds of being handed anything with a battery. finally I think merlin should get run over by a minivan.

Tournament Predictions!
Firstly I feel a little sorry for that poor guy who got matched up with Gawain...
I don't really care about 2B, but Howzer is probably going to lose for suspense reasons.
3B is likely to be dramatic and full of backstory, at least I sure hope so. Tristan is likely win.
I like both Isolde and Pelio so you both just do your best. Though I'm sure Isolde is going to win.
Percy is obviously going to beat Gareth. But I hope it's a cool fight.
I feel like Donny might lose for the same reason Howzer likely will, but I hope he doesn't. It'd be way more fun and emotionally impactful if he has to fight Percy.
I...Feel like Anne is gonna throw, actually. I think there's gonna be a lot of talking in the match she's gonna decide to forfeit for some reason.
I don't know who Rothes is and I don't care, but if Nasiens loses I'm going to unleash 10,000 feral racoons in Nakaba's living room.
Next round.
That would mean Gawain would fight Balin next, so I'm expecting he'll have some surprising magical ability or something. I think I expect Balin to beat Gawain actually. I don't know, I just think she still has some life experience to gain before she steps anywhere close to Escanor's shoes yet. -But then again! Tristan was shown early on to be the only one who would really deal with Gawain so narratively that might come into play, so maybe she will win? I don't know!
Tristan fighting Isolde is everything I want. Oh I hope it's emotionally devastating. Tristan will win.
Like I said, Percy vs Donny would be fun for me :p
And that would leave Nasiens fighting Diodora and...I think that makes a lot of sense! Maybe he'll find a way to cure of help him and this can resolve happily. I mean I was always hoping we'd find a way for Diodora to be ok and Ironside can just leap into the void with both of his sons hating his guts, so yeah...
Semi-Finals
Hm... that would probably end with Percy fighting Nasiens though... I don't know how I feel about that... But if Nasiens loses to Diodora than it'd be a brother fight and THAT would be good! Percy would win of course but it would be good.
Tristan will beat whichever one of them he winds up fighting.
Final fight!
It doesn't exactly "matter" who wins because both Tristan and Percival are our guys, and I'm sure Tristan will have his memories sorted by the time he gets to Percy. But if doesn't, then it'll be a cool fight anyway. I'm not sure who I think should win or who I'd even want to...

this is a cool comic I found thanks to kob131 and I put it on here since I liked it so much by AGNerdBot ( if that person doesnt like the fact I did this I will take it off
my own comment
the land of the fairys in fate series runs outside of time and space its possible that lancelot was raised in the land of fairy's or some other place with a different time axis so when he was sent to the human world the time spent in the land of fairys was longer than the time that actually passed in human world
I just found out that its also on reddit www . reddit . com/r/grandorder/comments/otg75p/how_convoluted_can_this_family_tree_get/ reddit comments
Welp, first post on Reddit and on r/grandorder, so hope y'all find it half as funny as some other folk did.
I made this because in Lostbelt 6.2, Holmes mentioned the theory that Morgan Le Fay is also the Vivian, the Lady of the Lake, and in turn, Nimue is an alias used by Vivian. Nimue's also the name of the fairy that raised Sir Lancelot, meaning that, through one really convoluted set of circumstances… Morgan Le Fay is Lancelot's mom.
Poor Artoria has enough crap to deal with, and now she's gonna have to deal with people accusing her of nepotism.
Nah. Nepostism was common on Ancient times.
Just think about that.
Gawain, Gareth and Agravain are her Nephews.
Kay is her Brother and Mordred is her Son.

. Well, not yet anyways…
Deep within the reaches of Kronborg Castle, a certain narcoleptic paladin shuddered and was roused from slumber by the thought of reliving Morgan le Fay's reverse Hikaru Genji plan. Then he took one look at the bleached planet, realized this crisis was way above his pay grade, and went right the fuck back to sleep.

The back of my Siege Perilous

Going from left to right and down, the symbols stand for Galahad, Percival, Ragnell, Blanchefleur, the Grail Heroine, the Lady of the Lake who gives Arthur Excalibur, Guinier, Gawain, Dinadan, Ector de Maris, Morgan le Fay, Caradoc Briefbras, Griflet, Isolde, Vivian, Taliesin, Tristan, Brunnisend, the Nine Witches, Laudine, the Three Queens or Morgause, Kay, Dagonet, Merlin, Palamedes, Sebile, Guinevere, Igraine, Melora, Yvain, Mordred, and Arthur.
If you’re confused about some or all of them, here’s my rationale/what the symbols are:
Galahad and Percival have slightly different Grails. I think Ragnell is found sitting under a tree, and another story has Gawain in a relationship with the queen of Avalon, isle of the apples. Blanchefleur means “white flower”. The square with the spiral in it is the Grail Heroine’s box of hair. The sword under the wave is fairly obvious. That is the drinking horn from Guinier’s chastity test. Gawain’s is a SGatGK reference. Dinadan’s is an aro ring. Ector de Maris, Griflet, Kay, and Palamedes all have symbols or patterns from their attributed arms. Morgan le Fay takes Arthur to Avalon on a boat. Caradoc has to be saved from a serpent which is wound around his arm. The torch is a Wagner reference. Nimue traps Merlin, whose symbol is the bird who shares his name, so she is represented by a birdcage. Taliesin got his wisdom from a cauldron, and there’s a cauldron in the Preideu Annwfn. Tristan plays a harp. The formation of the relationship between Brunnisend and her eventual husband is defined by their dire yet mutually exclusive needs for a good night’s sleep. The Nine Witches’ symbol seemed cool and has a threefold element. Laudine has a magic fountain. The evolution of the nature and deeds of Anna/Morcades/Morgause/etc. seemed to sort of go with the Maiden, Matron, Crone archetype and I really couldn’t think of anything else. Dagonet eventually became a jester. Yblis, who has a magic mantle, is Sybil scrambled, and there is a strong modern association between magic and capes. Guinevere is sometimes given authority over the knights of the vergescu. My justification for Igraine’s is particularly weak and would take too long to explain. Melora wields the Lance of Longinus. Yvain befriends a lion. Mordred has a broken table because he helped break the Round Table. Arthur is King.

Something that has been on my mind ever since Servant Summer Camp was available to play, was a bit of continuity writing with regards to Bedivere. ....but as usual I forgot to write about it until the rerun lol. i am a little less sad now so i'll post this while i can
So the summer camp is all themed around the idea of death and horror courtesy of Xu Fu's killing mask, right? The idea of dying was so strong, even Servants get affected by it within the Singularity.

It was enough to make even Brynhild and Sigurd mention that they acutely felt afraid of dying after meeting Xu Fu.
Now, when the event ends and we're shown various scenes in Chaldea of Servants catching up on what happened, there is a conversation wherein Gareth asks Mordred, Lancelot, Gawain and Tristan what happened. Bedivere is very conspicuously absent during that conversation...

...though we got this hilarious moment revealing that Gawain, Lancelot and Tristan were all utterly useless after either being claimed by Sessyoin's illusions or dying (poor Tristan, but it lines up with the fact that his Luck rank is E!)
So where was Bedivere?
Well, since the theme of the Singularity was a fear of death, it made sense that he didn't go.
Because, as Merlin put it in the flashback at the end of Chapter 6:

Bedivere also said it directly:

Though he does clear up that what he was most afraid of was a meaningless existence rather than the actual dying aspect, but even so, a part of Bedivere's character in Camelot 6 was that he was afraid of facing his end.
Maybe it's just me overthinking things, but I though that was a neat piece of continuity, that Bedivere was absent in the Servant Summer Camp likely because it would have been a very bad choice for him to go to the camp.
...though seeing as what happened to Gawain, Lancelot, Tristan and Mordred, he probably would have been a bit more helpful lol.

Lancelot tries to save them face by giving this cool little speech though.

But I headcanon that while this dialogue was going on, Bedivere is quietly waiting (and seething) in the background ready to give them a scolding of their lifetimes for not doing their jobs right haha.

FOUR KNIGHTS OF THE APOCALYPSE THOUGHTS
I've been relatively silent for far too long and as compensation, let me share the things that have been occupying my head for the longest time.
"Knights" of the Apocalypse
I've posted my wishful thinking of the four knights possibly having their own squads before. It's cool to think that each of the four knights would be the Captains of their own title. Like, Knights of War, Knights of Death (sounds the coolest tbh), Knights of Pestilence, Knights of Famine. I still think that this is extremely unlikely because if this were to happen Nakaba would have to focus on so many people but it still sounds really cool.
Narrative-wise, we already have the Percival Platoon and the Tristan Platoon, and in my good honest opinion. The Percival Platoon has a higher chance to be relevant later on. Each Platoon has four members, including Percival and Tristan (we are not counting Lance in this) but Jade died, and we already got Chion's backstory (Nakaba can kill him off by making him save someone that is not Tristan) Isolde being the potential love interest for Tristan (and Gawain hihihi) is the only thing that is keeping her around. With the Percival Platoon, however, Anne is the potential love interest of Percival and her mom has a history with Arthur since she was once a Knight of Camelot, Nasiens is still a mystery and Donny still needs some hours on the oven for character development. My point is Percival and his Knights of Death (in my head) are complete and packed.
What about Tristan then? Tristan's platoon could possibly stay with him and the narrative. However, Thetis can be put into play here. Thetis is Derieri's reincarnation and she remembers everything, Thetis was once a demon and her story with Monspiet ended tragically and the girl needs a happy ending, so... Who is to say that Monspiet didn't also reincarnate (that would be a cool plot for Thetis). Then, we have Zeldris and Gelda, and I know them having a kid isn't mentioned in any way shape or form but I want them to have one (this is slowly turning into an AU). So, with that in mind, Tristan's new squad should consist of Isolde, Chion, Thetis, Monspiet reincarnation and Zel and Gelda's kid. Did you spot a theme here, most of the characters listed are or was a demon. Tristan struggles with his identity and he doesn't have any control over his demon side so it should be neat for him to have someone who can help him through it. Granted, I believe Mael is his perfect teacher since he once wielded both powers.
Now, let's get into Lancelot. I only have three candidates. Rou's reincarnation, King and Diane's eldest and/or possibly Tioreh. Rou and Derieri are currently in the same position. They have both reincarnated with their memories still intact, but Rou has already been reincarnated to Oslo then he died and got reincarnated again. I've said that it would be cool and fun and happy if he got reincarnated as a fairy so he could be with Gerhade, but he could very well be reincarnated as a human and his story would revolve around reuniting with Gerhade either way that's how his story will go. King and Diane's kids are pretty self explanatory since they are Lance's cousins. King and Diane's eldest is intriguing for me especially because of Disaster. Disaster isn't something we've seen at its pure and raw form, when King uses Disaster it's always with the Spirit Spear and King and Diane's eldest could be the character that can showcase just what Disaster can do on its own, and being the eldest and heir to be the next Fairy King The Sacred Tree can give him the power of Disaster. So what I'm saying is Lance's squad is literrally Fairy supremacy.
Lastly, Gawain. This one is easy. Gawain has Sunshine. Her team is the perfect way to revive the Four Archangels... well the graces of the four Archangels.
That's all for my rambling. Next time, I'll talk about the Demon Realm Arc. I have a few things to saw about the Demon Realm Arc.

"Percy!! We need to figure out room assignments, everyone else is gonna be here soon!!"
"Hey, does anyone know what we're gonna do for dinner?"
"Somebody better plan on restocking the pudding while we're here."
"Why don't you just do it yourself, Gawain?"
"Lance, do you think there's enough left in the kitchen for you to whip something up for everybody?"
Lance shakes his head, chuckling to himself as he sets his bag on the floor by the hallway leading to the bedrooms and heads towards the kitchen. He'd missed his friends and all the chaos that came with them. "Lemme take some stock in here and I'll see what I can do, Anne." He tells the bluette standing in the middle of the kitchen, hands on her hips.
"Oh, good. I hope there's enough, I really don't feel like going out in public again today." She admits.
"Rough week?" He questions.
"You have no idea." She groans. "I seriously needed this weekend away. Plus, it's been awhile since we've all gotten together here, I've missed it." She sighs.
Lance nods, walking over to the fridge and opening it up. "Definitely." He agrees. He grimaces at the near empty fridge and opens up the freezer instead, looking over the items inside thoughtfully. "Hey, can you look and see if there's any flour and baking powder in the cupboards?" He asks Anne over his shoulder.
He hears her move to look as he pulls out a package of frozen sausage and tosses it onto the counter, closing the freezer back up as well. "Full bag of flour and half a tin of baking powder. Little bit of sugar in here, too." She informs him.
"Alright, cool. I think I got something in mind." He says, pulling out his phone as he leans against the counter. Just gotta see if Tris is willing to make a pit stop.
'Hey, how far out are you guys?'
'About 10 min'
'Do you think you'd be willing to do me a favor?'
'Does that mean you'd "owe me one" afterwards?'
'Why of course'
'Alright, fine, what is it?'
'Stop by a store and grab some milk and butter, pretty please? Doesn't matter what kind or brand'
'Ugh, okay. Only cause I like you so much ;D'
'Thank youuuuuu. I'll make it up to you, promise'
'Oh, I know you will'
Lance snorts, pocketing his phone and looking up to find Anne staring at him with a smirk. "You talking to your new friend?"
He rolls his eyes playfully. "They'll all be here in about 15 minutes or so." He informs her. "Once they get here, I'll have everything I need to start on dinner."
"Great!" She exclaims. "In the meantime, we should probably make sure that the idiots out there haven't made a mess of things already." She points her thumb over her shoulder and in the direction of the living room before turning around and walking that way. Lance shrugs and follows her, having nothing better to do while he waits.
~*~
Seventeen minutes later, Lance is in the process of defrosting the sausage when he hears exclaims from the living room. "Hey, uh, Lance?" Donny calls.
Lance walks into the living room, eyebrow raised. "Yeah...? What's up?" He questions.
"What the hell are Tristan Liones and Isolde Connors doing walking up to the house!?" He exclaims, half panicked.
Anne gasps. "Isolde is here!?"
"Oh, they finally got here, then." Lance says, a smile spreading over his face as he tries not to seem too excited.
"Oh? "Oh"?? That's all!?"
Lance doesn't answer Donny, instead walking closer to the clear glass wall making up the front of the house and watching as four people come up the stone steps. He spots Isolde and Tristan at the front and two men behind them that he doesn't recognize. He doesn't pay much attention to them, his eyes going back to Tristan almost immediately. It's only been about a day and a half since they'd last seen each other, but Lance was excited to see him all the same. In the past week, they'd spent the night together three more times and gone on two dates. They texted everyday and called sometimes, too. Lance didn't think it was even possible to be so attached to someone after so little amount of time, but the proof is right there in front of him that definitely was. He's been wearing a smile all week and all he can think about half the time is when he'll see the man again.
He's found out so much about the prince of Liones since that first night. He now knows that Tristan's favorite color is yellow and his favorite baked good is cinnamon rolls. His OCD was first diagnosed when he was 9, his Bipolar Disorder was diagnosed when he was 15. He'd had one girlfriend and two boyfriends in the past, all before him and Isolde were revealed to be dating to the public at age 19. When he was a kid, he'd had a dog named Monspeet that was first given to him by his Uncle Zeldris and Aunt Gelda, and the dog passed away when he was 17. He currently only models men's clothing, but he's considered asking to try out some women's clothing as well. Not only does he wear lip gloss, but sometimes more than that. He loves everything to do with the beauty and fashion industry and hopes to one day start his very own line of makeup and beauty products. He's obsessed with space and stars, has been for as long as he can remember. He has a deep passion for learning new things, becoming fascinated whenever he finds out a new fact he'd never known before. Whenever he comes to Lance's apartment, he has a new question about the plants he's growing and the crystals Lance keeps around his living space. Lance happily answers each one.
And so, when Percy calls him up and tells him that he wants to get the gang together for the weekend at his grandpa's beach house, the question of bringing Tristan along tumbled from his mouth before he'd even realized what it was. Percy, of course, said he could, and mentioned that he could bring a few friends along with him since the house was so big. Percy's grandpa's beach house has 8 bedrooms total and with their usual group there, only 4 of the bedrooms are taken, leaving the other 4 completely vacant. Tristan immediately agreed, saying he was sure his three best friends would love to come. One of which is, of course, Isolde, and if Lance remembers correctly, the other two are Jade and Chion.
Lance never told Donny, Anne, or Gawain about him and Tristan. They only know that he invited someone who he's getting close to, which they know in translation to mean dating. He technically didn't tell Nasiens directly, either, but he's certain that Percy told him who he was inviting and the both of them already know a little bit about him and Tristan anyways since they'd caught the two men making out back at the club a week earlier. It's just now that Lance realizes there's something else he's never told them. Tristan is the first guy he's ever dated, and he's never really tried to dig too deep into his own sexuality in the past. He's been attracted to plenty of guys, he's just never acted on any of it. So, given all of that, not only is Donny freaked out by the literal celebrities walking up, he's probably also extremely confused. Anne would most likely be just as confused if she wasn't so happy about Isolde being here. Oh, well. They'll adjust.
Lance walks over to the front door, opening it up as the group of four reaches it and holding it open. Percy comes rushing into the room and stops beside Lance. "Hey, everyone! Glad you all got here okay!" He greets cheerfully.
"Oh, Percy, right? It's wonderful to see you again!" Tristan exclaims with just as much cheer. "These are my friends, Isolde, Chion, and Jade." He points to each one as he introduces them.
"Great!!" Percy shakes hands with each of the newcomers, waving the rest of Lance's friends over. "This is Anne, Donny, Gawain, and my boyfriend, Nasiens! And-" Anne barrels into Isolde with a squeal, interrupting Percy.
"Anne!? I didn't know you'd be here!!" She exclaims as the two embrace quickly before pulling back.
Percy smiles at the two before continuing. "And then there's Lance, of course!"
Lance steps back into view after closing the front door and locking it, sending a wave at the new people in the room. "Hey, guys." He says casually.
Before anyone else can answer, Tristan comes right up to him and plants a kiss on his lips. Lance immediately wraps his arms around the silverette and returns the kiss without hesitation. He hears a choked gasp and a "What!?" from his group of friends and he internally snickers. Tristan pulls away slightly, giving him an amused smirk. "I got you your stupid butter and milk." He whispers, his arm coming up to show the grocery bag he's holding in one hand.
"Well, thank you very much, your majesty. I appreciate the hard work you put in, in order to do so." He whispers back, taking the bag from him. "Now I can make dinner." He says in a normal volume this time.
Tristan gasps dramatically, placing a hand over his heart. "Am I finally getting to taste the Lancelot Antin's cooking?"
"Oh, don't get too cheeky now, maybe I'll change my mind." Lance quips.
The prince narrows his eyes at him. "You wouldn't."
Lance sighs. "You're right, I wouldn't. Only cause Anne would kill me if I made us go out for something, though." He points his thumb at the bluette.
"Damn right." Anne grumbles, arms crossing over her chest.
"Huh. Good to know." Tristan has a mischievous glint in his eye as he turns away from Lance. Lance just shakes his head, chuckling at the prince's antics.
Tristan starts introducing himself to the rest of Lance's friends and people start to mingle, so Lance takes the milk and butter into the kitchen, putting them away for now. He then finishes his process of defrosting the sausage and then sets it aside for the moment. He then gets out the flour, baking powder and sugar, setting them on the counter as he gathers up other things he'll need.
A few minutes later, he's just starting to flatten the biscuit dough he made when arms wrap around him from behind. "That's kinda hot, you showing off all your muscles like that. Definitely a view I could get used to." Tristan comments.
Lance snorts. "Is that so?" He asks, folding the dough over and then flattening it down with his palms.
"Mm-hm." The silverette nuzzles his face against the man's back and Lance feels butterflies take flight in his stomach at the simple affection. "Your friends seem really fun and this house is gorgeous. Thank you for inviting us." Tristan says sincerely.
Lance stops what he's doing for a moment to place his hands over Tristan's on his waist. "Of course. A lot of good memories have been made here, I'm glad I can add some with you to the mix." He admits.
Tristan doesn't reply, but his hands start to tremble slightly in his grasp. He's about to question why, growing concerned with the man's silence, but then Tristan just tightens his arms, hugging Lance tighter, and buries his face in his back, humming softly. Lance smiles softly and squeezes his hands before focusing back on the biscuit dough in front of him.
~*~
"Dinner's ready!!" Gawain swats a spatula against the living room doorway multiple times to get people's attention.
Lance shakes his head at her with a chuckle as he passes another full plate of food to the pinkette beside him. Isolde has insisted on helping him every opportunity she gets, including taking food from the kitchen to the dining room. Lance had an inkling that she was trying to get him to like her, which was confirmed when Tristan whispered to him to just go with it. Truth is, he has no problems with her. Tristan already explained to him that she doesn't see him in a romantic way and that they're just friends and nothing more, that Isolde is glad their arrangement is over now. And Lance believes them both, he has no reason not to. Not only does he trust Tristan's word, he trusts Anne's as well, and Isolde is a really close friend of Anne's. And so, he lets her do her thing, not like he's complaining about the help.
Lance passes the last plate to Isolde before making sure all the burners are turned off and putting all the dishes he'd used into the sink. He'd made biscuits and gravy. It was simple and about the only thing he could've made with what they had. He'll go out and do some grocery shopping tomorrow morning, making sure there's some good freezer stuff stocked up for next time they come.
"Hey, do you know where the corkscrew is?" Donny asks him as he walks in, heading straight for the wine cart. Which was completely empty save for the wine and champagne glasses on it.
"Yeah, right here." Lance says, grabbing it out of a nearby drawer. "Whatcha need it for?" He asks curiously.
The redhead starts gathering champagne glasses, sending a wide grin Lance's way. "You're boyfriend brought us the wonderful gift of alcohol!" Lance chokes at the title Donny gave Tristan. Boyfriend. Lucky for him, Donny isn't paying much attention as he tries his best to balance all ten champagne glasses. "Hey, think you could bring that in yourself?"
"Y-yeah, I got it." Lance coughs. Donny then walks through and into the dining room, leaving him alone in the kitchen.
He'd be lying if he said he hasn't considered the title at least once. He has. Just yesterday, in fact. But...is it too soon? They've known each other for 8 months, but they've only been dating for a week. One single week that's been incredible. And when he imagines giving that kind of title to Tristan, and Tristan giving that same title to him in return, it just feels right. So maybe it isn't too soon for Lance, but what if it is too soon for Tristan? He just isn't quite sure what the right move here is yet.
He shakes his head to clear his thoughts and leaves the kitchen, finding that he's the last one to enter the dining room. There's a spot open for him right in between Tristan and Tristan's friend, Chion. The purple-haired man has eyes on him as soon as he enters the room, scrutinising his every move as he walks over to the empty chair. Lance just tries his best to ignore the distrust radiating from the man as he takes his seat. Tristan is currently chatting animatedly with the green-haired man on the other side of him. Lance smiles softly at seeing the two getting along so well.
"Alright! Who wants a drink?" Donny calls, drawing everyone's attention as he picks up the corkscrew that Lance had set on the table.
"Please be careful, Donny." Nasiens pleads.
"Don't worry, I got it." Donny waves him off.
"Yeah, don't worry, Nasiens. Donny learned his lesson from last time, when Anne damn-near beat the shit outta him." Lance teases the man, Gawain, Anne, Nasiens, and Percy snickering at the comment.
"Oh?" Jade raises an eyebrow in amusement and curiosity.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Donny grumbles, pushing the screw into the top of the champagne bottle and pointing the bottle in the direction of the kitchen, holding it close to the doorway. Everyone in the room winces at the loud pop as the bottle is opened. Donny then proceeds to fill everyone's glasses halfway, setting the bottle in the middle of the table and sitting back down.
"Oh! Does this mean we can do a toast?" Isolde says from her spot between Anne and Gawain.
"You should do one." Gawain suggests, elbow on the table and her head resting on her chin as she appears to admire Isolde, a look on her face that Lance hasn't seen in years. Well, that's new. Lance makes a note to keep an eye on that.
"Oh, well," Isolde looks around the table, receiving encouraging looks from everyone. "Well, I guess we should toast to new friends. I think I speak for all of my friends here when I say that we're very hopeful for the rest of the weekend. You all seem so wonderful already and this whole place is beautiful. So, thank you." She finishes speaking with a shy smile, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.
"Cheers!" Tristan exclaims, reaching his glass out to clink against hers and then everyone else's as they all do the same.
From there, everyone begins to eat and dinner is anything but quiet. Everyone's chatting and having fun, though Chion seemed a bit uneasy the whole time. Halfway through dinner, Tristan's hand grabs his under the table and Lance intertwines their fingers together. Tristan turns and beams at him, bringing their hands up to his lips and kisses the back of Lance's. Lance then proceeds to look away and act as if the blush growing on his face isn't there as he continues eating, swearing he hears the prince snicker quietly beside him.
~*~
The next day, almost everyone sleeps in, unsurprisingly, and that includes Tristan. Something else Lance has learned about the man is that when he doesn't have anything to do the next day, he really likes to enjoy his sleep. Lance went and got groceries early on, returning with breakfast for everyone, though it ended up being more like lunch for a lot of them. And then it was collectively decided that they would all head down to the beach, as one does when staying at a beach house.
"So, you remember how you owe me one, right?" Tristan comes up to him and crouches down, his hands resting on his knee and his chin resting on his hands.
"Of course I remember. Why?" Lance asks from his place in the sand, leaning back on his hands and his legs stretched out in front of him to allow the water to run over them. His fingers tap against the sand as he stares back at the silver-haired man.
Tristan gives him a shy smile. "I think I know what I want you to do."
He tilts his head at him. "Really? Ready to cash in already?" He jokes and Tristan giggles, nodding his head. "Well, what is it, then?"
The prince bites his lip, his body doing a small wiggle motion that Lance finds extremely cute. "Be my boyfriend?" He asks quietly.
Lance's breath hitches and he stares into his eyes, searching them for any hint of joking. All he saw was a mixture of anxiety, hope, and affection. "Is that all? Cause if that's the case, then you really don't need to use your favor to get me to say yes." He says, sitting up and reaching out to grab one of Tristan's hands in his. "I was plannin' on askin' you the same question already." He tells him.
Tristan's eyes light up. "So, is that a "yes", then?" He asks.
"Yes, your majesty, I will happily be your boyfriend." Lance grins at him, the sentence making his heart soar.
Tristan squeals slightly, jumping at him and tackling him into the sand, giving him a kiss that takes his breath away. Lance laughs against his lips and wraps his arms around the shorter man's waist, kissing him back with just as much enthusiasm. The silverette holds the blonde's face with both hands and deepens the kiss, swiping his tongue over the other man's bottom lip. Lance accepts him, delving into his mouth and sucking on his tongue, drawing a moan out of the prince.
He pulls back and looks down at Lance. "I think I need a shower. Come help me clean up?" He asks coyly.
"Sounds like a good idea to me." Lance whispers. Tristan climbs off of him and stands up, Lance following suit, and Tristan grabs his hand, intertwining their fingers as he leads them back up to the beach house, leaving everyone else to their own fun.
The two of them quickly make their way to their shared bedroom for the weekend, going straight to the connected bathroom. Tristan turns on the shower and adjusts the temperature as Lance goes up behind him, planting kisses down his bare back as he reaches for the waistband of the silverette's swim trunks and pulls them down, sucking and nipping until a mark is left at the base of his spine. He stands back up as Tristan turns around, stepping out of the trunks pooled at his ankles and running his hands down Lance's sides and over his hips until he's pulling Lance's swim trunks down as well. Lance leans down and kisses the prince as Tristan starts walking backwards towards the shower, pulling the other man with him as he steps inside under the spray of water.
Tristan reaches down and grabs Lance's cock, rubbing his thumb over the tip and drawing a groan out of the blonde-haired man. Lance bends down to grab the backs of both of Tristan's thighs, pulling the man up and placing his legs around his waist in one quick motion, causing Tristan to let out a small squeak as his hands latch onto Lance's shoulders. Lance chuckles as he presses Tristan's back to the shower wall. The silverette arches into him, his body instinctively reacting to the cold tile touching his skin, and the action causes his cock to rub against Lance's. Both men moan into the kiss, pressing closer to find that same friction again.
Lance grabs his bodywash from one of the shower shelves, pulling back from the kiss. "I'm supposed to be cleaning you up, right?" He says huskily as he pours some of the soap into his hands, blindly putting the bottle back on the shelf as he keeps his eyes on Tristan.
"Yes, I do believe that was the intention of this shower." Tristan says, smirking as he runs his nails down Lance's chest lightly.
"Thought so." Lance says as he reaches down and wraps his soap covered hand around both his and Tristan's cocks, holding them in a firm grip and giving one, single tug before stopping and Tristan bucks his hips up, trying to get a continuation of the motion. Lance tsks and changes his grip on the prince, instead grabbing tight hold of his hip and pinning it in place.
Tristan gasps and bites his lip. "I love it when you take control." He comments.
Lance gives another tug, this one quicker. "You implying that I usually don't, little prince?" The pet name slips out, something he'd never called Tristan before, but it gets a very noticeable reaction from the other man.
"N-not at all, s-sir." He stutters out, his eyes wide and dark, the absolute furthest thing from innocent.
That flash of heat runs through his body again at being addressed as such and he pumps his fist as he growls out, "Say it again."
"Sir. P-please." The silverette tries to move his hips again.
"Stop squirming, little prince, and I'll give you what you want." He breathes out. Tristan whimpers, but stays still, looking up at him with pleading eyes. "Good." The blonde whispers, before making good on his promise, pumping his fist and continuing the motion instead of stopping after just one pass.
Both of them groan and Lance starts moving his hips in time with his fist. Tristan lets out a whine and Lance digs his nails into the prince's hip, a warning for him not to move yet. Lance speeds up the motions of his hand a bit, groaning. "L-Lance. Sir." Tristan's voice is strained and Lance presses their foreheads together.
"Almost there, sweetheart, just wait a bit longer." He pants.
He jerks them both off quickly now, chasing both their highs but his main focus is Tristan in that moment. They both moan together as they get closer, the hot water beating down on them without much notice from either one.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck." Tristan chants, his back arching forward more with each curse and his body starts tensing up, like a coil getting ready to spring, and Lance is feeling much the same way.
"That's it, little prince, let me see you cum." The taller man encourages, and that was all it took for the silver-haired man to fall apart in his arms.
"Oh, Lance!" He shouts, body locking up completely as he cums hard. Lance tries his best to keep watching the beautiful sight unfolding before him, but his own orgasm takes over and his vision blurs as he cries out Tristan's name in return.
Tristan comes down from his high with another whimper, Lance with a soft groan, and both of them become still finally except for the heaving of their chests as they try to catch their breaths. "Damn." Lance says.
Tristan giggles. "I cannot wait to do some more exploring with you."

All three! Apologies. I want to learn as much as I can about him.
You got it!
The first text that Galahad appears in is the Vulgate. His predecessors and legacy are first described in The History of the Grail; then he’s conceived, born, and raised during the Lancelot books; finally in Post-Vulgate he’s a knight on Grail Quest where he achieves his life’s purpose and passes away. Additionally, here’s A Companion to The Lancelot-Grail Cycle which may help you navigate the text.
Another book I suggest for your Galahad research is The Legend of the Grail by Nigel Bryant and Norris J. Lacy. It’s got a lengthy introduction about the history of the Grail story and touches on all the characters who’ve achieved it throughout Arthurian literary history including Perceval, Gawain, and of course, Galahad. Each chapter is taken from a different text and newly translated by Nigel Bryant for this publication. It’ll give you an idea of the progression of the Grail story which eventually led to Galahad and introduce you to some adjacent texts that may be of interest.
The next medieval text that includes Galahad is La Tavola Ritonda. It’s mostly a Prose Tristan story, but does cover the whole Grail Quest with a fun Italian Galahad named Galeazzo/Galasso. I enjoy this one a lot! Regarding Galasso specifically, it’s an interesting take on the character—he’s described as very gracious and he wields a cool named sword. Plus his purity grants him necromancy powers—at one point he convenes with the dead and doesn’t bat an eye. Just keeps on adventuring. Focused. In his lane. Pretty neat!
After that comes probably the best known Arthurian text, Le Morte d’Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory. I’ve attached the version of this story abridged by Keith Baines. It’s much easier to read with proper formatting to add quotation marks to dialogue and tighten up the prose. This one also comes with A Companion to Malory which I found exceedingly helpful in breaking down the sometimes convoluted plot threads and character dynamics present in Malory’s story. Many of the essays I’ve attached below relate to this text specifically.
Lastly I would be remiss to exclude The Arthurian Handbook by the goats Norris J. Lacy and Geoffrey Ashe. This volume not only covers medieval texts, but much of the art history that goes hand in hand with Arthurian literature too. There are many paintings, tapestries, stained glass windows, and murals featuring Galahad highlighted in this book. It also includes family trees, heraldry, and maps which can help you conceptualize things detailed in writing throughout the Vulgate.
Now I’m going to list essays without descriptions since there are so many and the titles are pretty self explanatory.
Absent Fathers, Unexpected Sons: Paternity in Malory’s Morte Darthur by Cory Rushton
Born-Again Virgins and Holy Bastards: Bors and Elyne and Lancelot and Galahad by Karen Cherwatuk
Constructing Spiritual Hierarchy through Mass Attendance in the Morte Darthur by David Eugene Clark
Disarming Lancelot by Elizabeth Scala
Galahad, Percival, and Bors: Grail Knights and the Quest for Spiritual Friendship by Richard Sévère
'A Mayde, and Last of Youre Blood': Galahad's Asexuality and its Significance in Le Morte Darthur by Megan Arkenberg
Gender and the Grail by Maureen Fries
Malory and Rape by Catherine Batt
Mothers in the Grail Quest: Desire, Pleasure, and Conception by Peggy McCracken
Seeing Is Believing and Achieving: Viewing the Eucharist in Malory's 'Sankgreal' by Sarah B. Rude
Wounded Masculinity: Injury and Gender in Sir Thomas Malory's "Le Morte Darthur" by Kenneth Hodges
And that about covers it! This should give you plenty to work with. Beyond these, we’re left with literature outside the medieval era, which is a different conversation. No doubt Alfred Lord Tennyson had a huge influence on how Galahad is perceived today, but that’s irrelevant to a discussion regarding medieval source material, and a topic for another time. Hope this helps you out and you learn all you want to about Galahad!
Take care!

what's does Altria and the knights of the round table Mordred and Biatrice's twins children?
Altria is like a mother to the children, but much closer to Olivia than to Andrius... this is because of Olly's calm and shy personality. She takes the twins for walks and even takes vacations with both of them. As cute as it is, all this love has created a very visible weakness for your king of Knights
Curiosity; Olivia lives with Altria
Gawain and Percival play the role of uncles, whether by blood or not, they advise and teach the twins in the hope that one day they will be honored and not make the same mistakes as their father.
Gareth is the favorite Aunt, who buys the cool toys at the end of the year and is always present even at children's theater performances, full of emotions, of course she knows how to be serious too, but Gareth manages to be the sweetest among the knights with they.
Tristan, Lancelot and Agaravain have an impasse between whether it matters or not, they don't really recognize Mordred as a knight, much less his sons as "princes" or simply interesting...but if the king looked so different next to those two what could surround them? It's basically this duality.
Bedi thinks they are cute and have great potential to be great one day, he accompanies Altria on trips which makes him close to the twins, he likes how Andrius is as intelligent as his mother and is always curiously studying something he saw, as well as loves Olivia's quiet and gentle way of attracting diverse people as well as her effort in training.
