Please be better than conspiracy-brained conservative dipshits. Don't fall into this nonsense.
A troubled young man wanted to die. He decided to go out using the "suicide by cop" method. It's a lot more common than many realize—and the cops in the US are more than happy to shoot you.
This young man decided he wanted to go out in a blaze of dipshittery. He was googling both Trump and Biden rallies. He didn't care who it was. He just wanted to die.
My mom was on blood thinners. When she fell and hit her head, the blood went everywhere. It looked like she was wearing war paint because it runs and smears and drips. It's a weird viscosity and not like regular blood. It's also very slippery. And if you touch the blood and then touch something else, it transfers very easily.
Again, it's not that complicated.
Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the aftermath.

Oh no, Trump was shot at Anyway, let's talk about the thousands of children and adults in the LGBTQ community, that get targeted and killed for simply existing.

The Chilling Reason You May Never See the New Trump Movie
This week I finally got to see “The Apprentice,” an absorbing, disturbing movie about the relationship between the red-baiting mob lawyer Roy Cohn and a young Donald Trump. The film, which was received with an extended standing ovation and mostly appreciative reviews when it premiered at Cannes last month, is a classic story of a mentor and his protégé, chronicling how Trump first learned from and later surpassed his brutal, Machiavellian fixer.
. . .
Unfortunately, you may not get a chance to anytime soon, at least in the United States. Distributors have bought the rights to “The Apprentice” in Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Japan and many other countries. But the filmmakers have yet to secure a deal to release it here, either in theaters or on streaming services.
Negotiations are ongoing, and domestic distribution could still come together. Yet the possibility that American audiences won’t be able to see “The Apprentice” isn’t just frustrating. It’s frightening, because it suggests that Trump and his supporters have already intimidated some media companies, which seem to be pre-emptively capitulating to him.

Yes it is super creepy the way trump talks about his daughter. I have 2 theories about why he might say shit like that, and to be honest I think they are equally likely.
The first is the creepy child abusing way we all hear.
The second is that he is one of those men who cannot even conceive of the value of a woman/girl outside of his ability to find her attractive. He thinks saying a female is attractive to him is the highest compliment he can bestow and he literally can't think of any other compliment for women/girls.
I mean, it's possibly both.

TW for suic*de.
As someone who is suicidal and has been since age 12, living in the Deep South as a bisexual woman, please do not kill yourself over this. I have lived through two friend suicides as well as my own attempt, and things are bad, things are bleak, but they are not the end of everything forever.
You are NOT alone. The other side winning will make you feel like that, but you are NOT. You are not by yourself. I am here with you and you are here with me, having the same bad thoughts and having the same bad times. But we are having these things together we are doing this together. I am still suicidal, but I’m not alone and you want better for me than feeling this way and I want better for you, too.
Not everything will be okay or easier if you make the choice to see another day. If you need to hide or leave or get away or cry or scream or whatever, do it, get it out. You feel these things because you want better for yourself and the world around you. That matters.
They cannot take away your heart and your soul and your beliefs from living inside you and continuing to live inside you. You are still you on the inside, you are still you in your heart and in your soul and they can’t take that away from you because they literally can’t. It’s in you and that counts for everything.
You are entitled to have bad days, months, years, and you will have them, I swear you will. And you may have them a lot with what is to come. But I swear you will have good ones too. Yes, even with what we have and will go through. I swear with everything in me, you will have good ones too and they may not always outweigh the bad, but they are so worth having in spite of it. They are so, so worth having.
They have robbed you of enough. Do not give them the satisfaction of robbing you of your existence too.

In very concerned about both of my history teachers who for the sake of convenience and privacy I will call mr rugby and miss paper (these are references to their personalities and stuff but not their real names)
so mr rugby was my history teacher last year and I have him again this year and last year he made his opinions on the lgbt community very clear, he doesn’t like them but says he’s not homophobic as he isn’t actively oppressing anyone (what the fuck) he told us about the Belfast cake case (I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s called and I can elaborate on this if anyone would like to know) and made us say if it was discriminatory or not, it was pretty 50/50 on that but more girls said it was than boys, he said it wasn’t, cause it was religious beliefs and shit,
there’s also a boy in my class I’m going to call dick, now dick is a dick that’s why I’m calling him that, he’s made it clear he doesn’t like queer people, he is somewhat racist, like yells slurs in class and shit, he makes rape jokes, says kids care getting trans surgeries at 16, very pro Israel or atleast anti Palestine and all that jazz, he’s asked mr R about his opinions on like trans people and gay marriage and stuff multiple times and every time his opinion is negative, doesn’t think gay people should marry, mocks neo pronouns, says trans people are confused all that stuff
the other day mr R made us say if we could put one group of people in jail who would it be, he went along the rows going from back to front and I’m at the end of the middle row, everyone else was saying communists, nazis, criminals (they had to re answer the question), and when it got to me I panicked and said rapists, mr R just said “rapists interesting” and moved on to the next person who said, pedophiles, then he stopped and said if you had to choose between a rapist or a pedophile who would you put in jail, most people then said rapist, and then he stopped the class and started saying a pedophile is worse cause they raped a child
HE NEVER SAID THAT BEFORE HE JUST DAID PEDOPHILE, everyone then started arguing that a pedo just had to have been attracted to children to be classed as one which he said was wrong AND THATS NOT THE WORST PART, HE THEN SAID THAT A RAPIST ONLY CAN RAPE ADULT WOMEN CAUSE IF ITS A CHILD THATS A PEDOPHILE AND “MEN CANNOT BE RAPED” THIS FUCKER SAID THAT MEN HAVE TO HAVE A BONER TO HAVE SEX SO CANNOT HAVE NONCONSENTUAL SEX
WHAT THE FUCK
he has also put a picture of miss piggy up saying that it was a picture of the northern Irish first minister or whatever the head of the government here is called
now miss paper I’ve only had for three weeks but in those three weeks she has said she prefers trump over Kamala Harris, because apparently “ trump has good policies” LIKE PROJECT 2025?!???? IS THAT MEANT TO BE GOOD POLICIES. She said Kamala sucks and in debates only winds trump up and gets him to say stuff that will make him look stupid
The joys of being educated by what I would describe as northern Irish conservatives

So, someone tried to assassinate Trump today. Clipped his ear, and blew the head off some poor soul that was in the way. Two others reported to be in serious condition, I believe.
His base is already calling for revenge.
This is a dark, dark fucking day.

If you don’t know what major event has just taken place in America today, then I suggest you look that up first. If you don’t like politics, or if you find it difficult or too upsetting to read something that may not align with your views, then I suggest you stop reading now.
This is just a fanart blog, and I love the support from those of you who enjoy my art… but I know I have at least one follower who might like to read something outside of the echo chamber. If you’re reading this and you can’t handle it, please feel free to block me. I’m a person like the rest of you, and I have a right to feel the way I do. I’ve lost friends I’ve had for 15+ years over everything that’s happened, and I’m over it.
I can’t believe it was just millimeters away. Oh my god, what an insane thing to see unfold before our very eyes, and that it’s all come to this. There’s been attempts before, but nothing like this. This was… I’ve been keeping up with the news almost every single day since October, and this is… Wow.
Millimeters.
And 99.99% of these people are grieving over the fact that it missed. If they’re not grieving over it, then they’re joking about it. They tried to kill a man who millions of people would like the opportunity to vote for in a fair election, and they’re upset that it failed, and they’re joking about it. I can’t be the only one in this community who’s aware of the patterns we’re seeing today. I can’t be the only one who’s genuinely upset over this very real attempt on Trump’s life.
The only question they’re willing to ask is, “How could it have missed?” and I’m the one who’s brainwashed. Unbelievable. They are trying everything they can to get rid of this guy and what does he do? He pushes his way through the protection of the secret service to shake a defiant fist to the world. An innocent rally attendee lost their life, the crowd is terrified, and he shakes his fist to the world with fresh blood on his face and neck from where the bullet hit.
Millimeters.

President Trump and his supporters find community by rejoicing in the suffering of those they hate and fear.
. . .
We can hear the spectacle of cruel laughter throughout the Trump era. There were the border-patrol agents cracking up at the crying immigrant children separated from their families, and the Trump adviser who delighted white supremacists when he mocked a child with Down syndrome who was separated from her mother. There were the police who laughed uproariously when the president encouraged them to abuse suspects, and the Fox News hosts mocking a survivor of the Pulse Nightclub massacre (and in the process inundating him with threats), the survivors of sexual assault protesting to Senator Jeff Flake, the women who said the president had sexually assaulted them, and the teen survivors of the Parkland school shooting. There was the president mocking Puerto Rican accents shortly after thousands were killed and tens of thousands displaced by Hurricane Maria, the black athletes protesting unjustified killings by the police, the women of the #MeToo movement who have come forward with stories of sexual abuse, and the disabled reporter whose crime was reporting on Trump truthfully. It is not just that the perpetrators of this cruelty enjoy it; it is that they enjoy it with one another. Their shared laughter at the suffering of others is an adhesive that binds them to one another, and to Trump.
. . .
It reflects a clear principle: Only the president and his allies, his supporters, and their anointed are entitled to the rights and protections of the law, and if necessary, immunity from it. The rest of us are entitled only to cruelty, by their whim. This is how the powerful have ever kept the powerless divided and in their place, and enriched themselves in the process.
. . .
Trump’s only true skill is the con; his only fundamental belief is that the United States is the birthright of straight, white, Christian men, and his only real, authentic pleasure is in cruelty. It is that cruelty, and the delight it brings them, that binds his most ardent supporters to him, in shared scorn for those they hate and fear: immigrants, black voters, feminists, and treasonous white men who empathize with any of those who would steal their birthright. The president’s ability to execute that cruelty through word and deed makes them euphoric. It makes them feel good, it makes them feel proud, it makes them feel happy, it makes them feel united. And as long as he makes them feel that way, they will let him get away with anything, no matter what it costs them.

This is from 2018, but it's still relevant.

reminder that because some people dont post about the war doesn't mean they're for it
maybe they don't want to keep up because of their mental health
maybe they're doing something more offline, and dont want to see it
maybe they don't want to have people that know them and could see those posts in support of palestine and ruin them
you don't know

there was a suicide on my campus this morning. second one this year. the first one was during finals week of last semester. this one after the 2024 presidential election results. if this decision was the result of the election, then this student's death is on the hands of the over 70 million people who voted for donald trump. either way, we're grieving the loss of a fellow student and human being. i'm heartbroken for them and their family. i wish today had been different.

Trump pretending the Jan 6th protestors weren't armed (there is of course ample footage showing that they were): We didn't have guns.
The man was still acting President at the time. Part of the Government being attacked. Technically, you know what I mean. But now using "we" to talk about the protestors.
But he had nothing to do with them, of course!
