Oh well. The last few days have been so intense ! Right now its a no-aesthetics academia ! The chaotic academia finds itself really chaotic when mixed with nomadic travel academia.

I found myself studying in the tent under the rain, in a hamac, in buses and on boats. Everything in less than two days ! I love this ways of living although it requires a lot of organisation, self discipline and a high capacity of concentration when the environment can be noisy and distracting !

It's difficile sometimes to find some time everyday to work and study because the main activity here for us is to visit, trekking, hitchhiking, meeting with people, trying to make photoreporting and articles on local life and regional stakes in every country and locality.

But for the minimum, here what I try to do every day :

- Reading the daily press of national French, UK and US, Argentine and Mexican newspapers (in the 3 languages (FR, EN, ES) of my phone

- Reading articles from international relations and diplomatic newspapers such as New Yorker, Le Monde Diplomatique and Courrier International on my reader

- Reading 2-3 chapters (or 50ish pages) of an essay or non-fiction book, currently Tristes Tropiques from Claude Levi-Strauss (ethnology)

-Reading 1 chapter from two different law books or courses, currently 1 book of History of the Philosophy of law and one course of History of international public law

I complete the whole with reading novels and fiction before going to bed, because it always help to open the mind and the creativity ! Currently MobyDick

Soooo right now in the middle of the Chilean Carretera Austral. As you might know we left January 2nd from Ushuaia Argentina to go up to Canada for the next 10 months.

Since I left my job and already spend one year in Argentina in 2024, now that this new adventure begun it seems a good timing to reflect on what I would like to do coming back home in 2026. I thought about it a lot the last few weeks and more and more I think I might want to go back to uni, to do a International Public Law master (I already got my Law degree).

Since I stopped my Law studies in 2014 I would have to get a hell of an application to get a chance to be accepted. So here I am, while travelling America from South to North, back in studying any course related to International law, Public Law, International Regulation, Environmental Law, International Business etc. And continue as every day to read International press...

Should we call that a Travel Academia ? Anyway to those who arrive there... welcome to this trip, glad to have you with me in my pocket and let's travel and study together (as well as a bit of Knitting and Crocheting !)
