“The other cats already look up to you. If you hadn’t escaped on your own in the first place, none of the others would be free now. You became their leader the moment you broke out of the den and went for help. Now you must be a cat worth following.”
Fang is a long-furred skinny gray tom with darker patches of fur and vivid green eyes.

Various OFND Group Naming Mechanics
The Bloodbound — Take or are given names meant to invoke fear and keep the individual in question in an air of intimidation (primarily as a strategy of protection and self-preservation).
The Fourtress Fealty Cats — Two-part naming system; primarily about nature.
The Foreshore Fealty Cats — Full names earned through trial; primarily about nature.
The Ranchers of Windover — Exclusively after things found on a farm. Also take the names of others as a mark of respect to the fallen.
The Skydrop — A naming system partially drawn from both the Fourtrees Fealty + the Unaligned.
Softpaws — After natural events; the more powerful and devastating, the better.
The Unaligned — Purely aesthetic with no meanings at all; the only concern is if they sound nice and maybe unique.
Vagabonds — After stars (not beknownst to them, of course, but known to us).
Wanderers — Given or otherwise take names to symbolize their personality or greatest traits.

once moorsnow got over her kittypet/twoleg hate did she just kinda look at snom go “…oh this child needs mothering actually” and emotionally adopt him or what is their relationship like?
Since Snom was basically an adult/older teen when they met they're more like friends than parent child, but they def talk almost daily and eat lunch together and stuff (along with Droplet).
They're the only two (aside from Cedar slightly) who have been directly "abused" by humans (Moor from getting trapped and fixed - only abuse from her pov - and Snom from actually having terrible owners), so they have heavily bonded over that. When Cedar disappeared and it made Snom relive his worse memories Moor kinda mentored and helped him through it and vis versa, comforting him made her feel stronger. They're comfortable with each other!
I think a tiny part of Moor wishes Droplet and Snom would get together now but she isn't gonna express it or pressure them, she just knows he'd treat her daughter right :'3

hhmmerr warrior cats au where before tearing up the old forest territories to make more neighborhood the twolegs realized there were cat colonies here and trapped the majority of them, the only ones escaping were those who managed to run away those who were taken who were calmer/could be trained (kits apprentices elders maybe just more chill warriors in general) were spayed/neutered and sent away to be housecats while those with larger tempers and who potentially couldn't be trained were sent away to different places to become new, monitored feral cat colonies and the ones who managed to run away made the journey to the lake, creating new clans & recruiting other loner/rogue/kittypets who wanted to join (honestly i just think there needs to be at least 1 (one) mass death/capture event in warriors theres TOO MANY CATS!!!!!!!!!! sobs)

It's certainly a writing choice to make a book about a mother's grief while ignoring her relationship with her remaining daughter. Alas, Occam's razor strikes again. Do you think they're going to suddenly give Thriftear more relevance in Star? I'm looking forward to seeing how you flesh her out, I've always loved how much care you put into family dynamics no matter how small they are in the grander scheme of things.
I'm honestly quite cynical on this front. We probably won't get a lot of Thrifty in Star. I think what's going to happen to Canon!Thriftear from this point out is that she is going to lose any personality traits that really make her unique as she transitions into becoming Moonpaw's mother.
She will be a mild-mannered, kind woman who is neither too harsh or too permissive. Any personality flaws she retains will just be related to what the plot requires Moonpaw to feel negative about. If we're all right and Moonie is a weirdgirl, then Thriftear will be a Mom Who Just Doesn't Understand.
I hope I'm proven wrong, but call it a hunch based on the detail we DID get from Ivypool's Heart; "Compared to her interesting siblings who are too neat and too messy, Thriftear cleans her den in the most normal way." Goldilocks middle child.
In any case,
I find family dynamics to be one of the most important aspects of BB, so anything I adapt that involves Ivypool is gonna involve Thriftear too and that is a PROMISE.
In BB, Ivypool is the adopted child of Lionblaze and Cinderheart. It was only revealed in BB!ASC that she is the forbidden child of Jayfeather and Poppyfrost.
This means she is fiercely Firekin. Squilf has always been her grandmother-- BB!Lionblaze was adamant about that, when Brambleclaw disowned him.
Fernsong is an ex-kittypet, and the primary parent of the kittens. Their "Mi."
This fixed Moonpaw's parentage problems pre-emptively. Bayshine and Thriftear are NOT cousins in BB
HOWEVER I STILL SAID NO.
It's still a little up in the air, but I'm leaning HEAVILY towards Bayshine and FLIPCLAW being the parents of Moonpaw. Two very silly dads and their weird child.
If the dynamic between Moonpaw and her parents ends up being more distant or unhealthy though-- it'll probably be Thriftear and Plumstone.
BB!Thriftear has a VERY strong personality in my mind. She's Firekin and proud. Bristlefrost is gone and she is dedicated to carrying on her strength and ambition in her place.
Since they were young, they both planned on doing big things in the Clan. Thriftear is serious and a bit sarcastic, intense personality.
Plumstone has just as much raw ambition, but in a sort of laid-back, authoritative way.
As a couple, they're fantastic at "Good Cop/Bad Cop" plays. It doesn't matter how hard it looks like the two of them are fighting-- it's a trap!
They will ALWAYS end up turning a united front on you. They are terrifyingly good at working as a team.
So, bottom line is, I'm not giving this up to accommodate canon unless they end up giving me something REAL interesting. I'm very fond of the BB!Ivykin family!

Okay wow I was not expecting my kittypet fae post to take off overnight like this, but I'm glad you all like it! I've been thinking about kittypet culture so this is what I think is the reasoning behind the beliefs.
Kittypets are often well groomed and well fed no matter the season, while wild cats are often groomed there's a softness to kittypet pelts that you don't find in wild pelts. Along with pretty accessories that a wild cat would have no clue what they are like bows. As such they start to seem a bit uncanny valley because they look like you but not Quite. Especially because of more purebred cats who have brighter pelts or unusual colors or strange muzzles or weird ears. Which helps spread the thought that kittypets aren't fully cats, but something similar, something different but the same. Firestar as a purebred orange cat is just a lot naturally brighter or vivid then the more muted oranges that appear in the wild, and that scares cats.
Kittypets also like to share with their wild friends, they see their friend skinny and cold and want to bring them inside where they can get food and get warm. So they tend to offer it pretty often, however cats that do this start to get used to the ease of food and warmth of the den and find it harder to stay wild or to stay away from twolegs. Some kittypets may even aid twolegs in trapping their friends for the sake of protecting their friends from the harsh outdoors. Which everyone knows once you've bonded with a twoleg whether you want to or not your transformation into one of them is nearly complete.
Kittypet food is also meant to fill a cat as its been fine-tuned to fit the needs of a cat so even if a cat doesn't think it tastes as good as mouse, it still fills them in ways they may struggle to get with hunting. So cats that risk taking a bit start to go back for more, especially in harder hunting series. Sure sparrow may be a bit tastier but if its a sparrow once a week during leafbare or kittypet food every day, cats are going to be tempted.
With kittypets not being in a war culture and often just chilling beyond mild spats means there's more room for other activities like a lot more gossip and stories, news travels fast between cats because kittypets are horrendous gossips which means if you fuck over a kittypet, every other kittypet is going to hear about it and shame you for it. To clan cats it's shocking because kittypet news travels throughout an entire twolegplace and even beyond it thanks to some kittypets that travel in like trucks and stuff, so it can seem like despite being nowhere near the original kittypet, everyone still magically knows how you messed up. This extends to their friends as well, if you beat up a cat that the kittypets consider a friend over a border dispute all the kittypets are going to be like "hey why'd you do that that was mean" and potentially chase you away.
Now for names is something I think is interesting because kittypets are never really like "my names Mouse but the twolegs call me Mittens" so clearly twoleg names have some priority here for kittypets, while the significance of this can very between whatever you want really, its clearly important. So if you get taken in by a twoleg to heal a wound and the twoleg starts calling you Pants, then suddenly all the kittypets call you by that name. No matter how much you insist your name is Twigpounce, you're Pants now. Plus if you're actively stuck with kittypets, you'll start going by Pants as well. Thus the kittypet's steal your name.
Cats that come back from twolegs always come back changed, from how they talk, to how they walk, to what food they eat, to the things they say. They can still shake off the influence and return to the wild, but they'll always be a bit off, a bit different. Everyone knows Tallstar was pet-touched a long time ago from how he acts, but everyone politely doesn't bring it up.
Avoid kittypets! They're tricksters that look like us but they're liars with their fake mice and fake warmth! Do not trust! They aren't true cats! They're something different! Something more dangerous! Do not be tricked!
Also Longtail still throws down with Rusty because he's an idiot and also probably hoping that this will make the scary fae child leave his clan alone.

Month 17 - Greenleaf
Songdust was snoozing in her hideyhole when the news arrived.
“Schmidt! Schmidt!” Luna’s cheery voice sounded almost frenzied as she crested the fence and dropped into the yard. Songdust stirred with a yawn.
“Luna!” boomed the massive white dog, Shepherd, in his thick canine accent, rattling the deck above Songdust’s head as he bounded out to meet the newcomer. That definitely woke her up. Stretching, she crept to the edge of the shadowy space beneath the deck and squinted out into the midday sunlight.
Luna, little thing that she was, had balked at Shepherd’s advance and eyed him warily as he snuffled gently at her. Songdust couldn’t blame her. It didn’t matter that he was friendly, the fluffy white beast was intimidating by virtue of his size alone.
“Luna,” he barked again, “Hello, Luna!”
“Yes, hello, Shepherd,” the little kittypet tried to smile. Speaking loudly and clearly to make sure the dog understood, she asked, “Where is Schmidt?”
“Schmidt?” The dog lifted his head and sniffed at the air a bit. “Hmm. Inside, I think. I get him.” With that, he dashed back across the yard and over the deck. Songdust shut her eyes and pressed her ears flat until he was gone. When she opened her eyes again, Luna was slinking excitedly in her direction, ears perked brightly.
“Afternoon, Songdust!” she whispered. “Guess what!”
“What?” Songdust chuckled, stepping out from under the deck and stretching her aching legs.
Luna’s eyes glistened as she said, “There are wild cats in the city!”
“Really?” Songdust’s stomach fluttered with fear and excitement. “Did you see them?”
“Mhm,” Luna grinned.
“How many of them?”
“Um, four or five?” Luna sat down and curled her tail sweetly around her paws. “Jo should be going to fetch them.” Songdust nodded to herself. If any cat could handle it, it would probably be Jo.
The dog flap clattered and Shepherd emerged again, tail wagging. Slipping between his legs and striding out across the deck was Schmidt, his sleek ginger fur shining in the sun like flames. He glanced at Songdust when he noticed her, a smile flickering over his lips, before he focused entirely on Luna.
“You needed me?” he asked with a charming twang. Shepherd paced a few steps beside them before settling down to lay in the grass and pant. Songdust shifted to better hide herself behind his massive shape.
“There’s wild cats in the city!” Luna whispered. Schmidt’s composed expression burst with surprise.
“Really?” he asked and Songdust would have laughed if she were certain the motion wouldn’t make her sick to her stomach. “Where’re they goin’?”
“I ran into Jo on the way,” Luna said. “They should be coming here if she can find them in time.”
“Good,” Schmidt nodded. “Thank you, Luna.” His tail tip started to twitch side to side.
“They’ve got to be looking for me, right?” Songdust asked.
“I would say that’s a pretty safe bet,” he said, looking up from the grass to meet her gaze. “Looks like you might be goin’ home, Miss Songdust.” His lips tightened at the edges and she felt it too, the relief and excitement tempered bittersweet with sorrow at having to say goodbye.
“Looks like it.” She offered him a tight smile of her own.
“Too bad you can’t come and visit,” Luna said.
“Miss you,” huffed Shepherd sadly.
“You can always come and visit me,” Songdust said, “although, I guess, Shepherd probably can’t get away.” Luna and Schmidt exchanged a somber glance that didn’t sit right with her. Shifting her posture, she asked, “What, is there a reason why you can’t visit? You aren’t trapped in your houses or anything.”
“It’s complicated,” Schmidt sighed. “Physically, we probably could come out to see you, but it’d be very dangerous.”
“We’ll have targets on our backs,” Luna said.
Songdust pursed her lips in frustration. “What, so we’ll just never see each other again? Not even on occasion?”
Schmidt dropped his gaze to the grass. “I wish it weren’t so, but at least for now, this seems like goodbye.”
“Hm.” Songdust squared her jaw and nodded, her tongue working forcefully against the backs of her teeth. If that was how things were going to be, then that was that, she figured.
“Hopefully, in a few months -” Schmidt tried, “maybe a year - things’ll be better and we’ll be able to visit.”
“That’s alright,” Songdust twitched an ear to stop him. “I get it. It just isn’t meant to be.” Shepherd leaned his big black nose over her back and gave a forlorn huff. She tried not to stiffen under the dog’s touch but couldn’t stop her tail from bristling subtly.
Schmidt cleared his throat and said, “I’m gonna go see if I can spot ‘em,” before making his way towards the fence with a poorly hidden guilty expression. Luna frowned awkwardly and followed after him.
Songdust was ashamed to say she was angry with them. She understood that they probably had very good reason to be cautious but it didn’t make her any less disappointed that they weren’t even going to try. That’s what I get for making friends with kittypets, she thought despite the guilty aftertaste.
Still, she’d expected better, at least from Schmidt. When he had taken her in, she had been very frazzled and lost in more ways than one and his kindness and solidity had carried her through the last several months. He had proven a thoughtful and enjoyable companion. She had spent more than one night staying up with him, discussing their lives and the ways they saw the world and she had enjoyed it greatly. He had listened to her speak about StarClan and seemed genuinely interested in what she had to say - not just a considerate attention but a real, genuine fascination and maybe even the beginnings of a belief. She wondered now if he would think about her when he looked at the stars or if he would go back to ignoring them.
She hated how hidden the stars were from her here. It seemed as if her ancestors had vanished from the sky overnight. The big bright star to the north was the only one she could see on some nights. She hoped that it was Smokyrose, watching over her from above. She hoped that Smokyrose had forgiven her for what had happened. She hoped she would get to apologize someday.
After some time, Luna called, “There they are! I see them!”
Songdust jumped to her feet, startling Shepherd, and sprinted over, scaling the fence in a swift, fluid motion. “Where?”
“Songdust!” Schmidt gasped. She wasn’t supposed to climb the fence in case anyone saw her, but at this point, she didn’t care.
“Where are they?” she asked again, ignoring him.
“They just dropped into that yard over there,” pointed Luna. Songdust chattered in anticipation as she turned her head to scan the fences ahead of them. After another few moments, Jo appeared on top of the fence and, following right after her, an almost identical tortoiseshell. Songdust laughed in relief.
“That’s Goldenstar,” she said and stood up taller to wave her tail at the newcomers.
“Really?” Luna gasped. “Your leader?”
“Yep!” purred Songdust. Goldenstar had noticed her and started sprinting in her direction as more cats came over the fence.
“You must be important,” mumbled Luna in awe.
“Not particularly,” Songdust shrugged.
“Songdust!” Goldenstar called as she reached the base of the fence they were on. “You’re alright!”
“So are you!” Songdust purred. Goldenstar leapt up to meet her and the fence wobbled under her weight, causing all four cats to sink their claws into the wood.
“Why don’t we have this conversation in the yard,” Schmidt laughed nervously and Luna nodded in agreement before they both dropped down. Goldenstar stayed where she was, tail brushing up.
“Wait!” she hissed urgently, "There's a dog!” Shepherd squinted up at her, rumbling lowly.
Songdust chuckled a little bit and said, “It’s alright, watch.” She hopped down onto the grass and padded up to the dog, butting her forehead against his leg to claim him. “It’s okay, Shepherd,” she said, “These are my friends.”
“Friends?” Shepherd hummed and shuffled his paws.
Goldenstar was wide eyed. “It understands you?” Before Songdust could answer, more cats were appearing on the fence. She smiled at the sight of Branchbark and Oddstripe’s boys. Even Scorch was a welcome sight.
“Songdust!” Branchbark grinned and jumped down into the yard to approach her. Purring loudly, she nuzzled against him in greeting.
“It’s good to see you, Branchbark,” she said gently.
“Woah,” Sparrowpaw fluffed up. “What is that thing?”
“A dog,” Goldenstar said. “Apparently this one is friendly though.”
“Mhm. He’s a big softie,” Songdust laughed, looking up at them. She had been worried too when she had first been brought to the yard but now it was funny to think of Shepherd as anything other than a massive sweetheart.
“He won’t bite,” said Jo, hopping up beside them. “Go on. You’ll be safer once you're in the yard.” Floodpaw swallowed and jumped down, his brother close behind. Goldenstar glanced at Scorchplume, smiled, and hopped down as well. Scorchplume squinted at Shepherd for a long moment before delicately landing on the grass beside her, pulling herself together with regal bearing. Once everyone else had gone down, Jo cast another glance around and then joined them.
“I’m so glad you’re alright,” Goldenstar said, coming to rub up against Songdust’s shoulder. “We would have come sooner but there were… complications.”
“Complications?” Songdust asked.
“Russetfrond got a kittypet pregnant,” Branchbark whispered conspiratorially. “It was a whole thing.”
“Really?” Songdust smirked. “Him, of all people? I wouldn’t have seen that coming.”
“Neither did he,” snickered Floodpaw.
“Hey,” hissed Sparrowpaw softly.
“Sorry, Sparrowpaw,” she said, “I don’t mean to make fun of him. I just wouldn’t have guessed.”
“It’s actually Sparrowsway now,” he said, shifting his posture a little taller.
“And I’m Floodstrike,” said his brother, grinning.
Songdust melted, smiling. “Oh, that’s fantastic! Congratulations, boys.” She closed her mouth as if she were holding the grief at having missed their ceremony on her tongue. They had grown so much while she was gone. She could only imagine how Slatekit and Fogkit had grown. Those poor girls…
“You’re Goldenstar?” Schmidt asked, inserting himself into the conversation. Songdust had nearly forgotten the kittypets were there. Looking back, she noticed Luna’s wide, excitable grin before focusing on Schmidt. His expression was serious, concerned. Songdust frowned a bit.
“I am,” said Goldenstar, putting on an authoritative tone. “Who are you?”
“This is Schmidt,” Songdust said. “He’s been hiding me. And that’s Luna, a friend of ours.”
“Hi,” Luna said, fluttering her eyelashes at Sparrowsway and Floodstrike. Oh boy, Songdust thought. Luckily, Schmidt spoke again before Luna could start anything.
“I’d love to speak with you, if that’s alright,” he said. “I doubt I’ll get another chance to bend your ear and I’d very much like to discuss politics if you’re so inclined.”
“Politics…?” Goldenstar raised a brow, unsure, and glanced at Songdust. Songdust, for her part, wasn’t sure how to explain it.
“It’s, um,” Scorchplume seemed to blink out of some sort of fugue state as she spoke, “It’s what they call the… art of governance and diplomacy. Like Clan relations but more complicated.” She cleared her throat, gaze roving distantly over the grass. Songdust frowned. That didn’t seem normal.
Goldenstar’s ears pressed back with concern. “Are you alright?” She leaned in for a split second and then stopped herself and Songdust raised a brow at that. There was clearly something going on that she didn’t understand.
“I’m fine,” Scorch said tersely. “We should take him up on his offer.” She looked at Schmidt with what seemed like a good deal of effort, jaw set resolutely.
“Alright then,” Goldenstar shifted worriedly but eventually tore her gaze away from Scorchplume to address Schmidt directly. “I’m all yours.”
“Great,” Schmidt said. “Why don’t we head under the deck for some privacy.”
“The deck?” asked Floodstrike.
“This a’way,” Schmidt stepped away and led the way into the dark crawl space underneath. Goldenstar followed directly behind him and a beat later Scorch trailed after her.
Sparrowsway glanced at the other cats and asked, “Should we all go, or…”
“Go for it,” said Jo. “Or don’t. Do what you like.”
“Politics is stressful and boring,” Luna said, edging closer to the boys. “I’d love to hear about your Wild Clans though.” Songdust raised a brow but Jo beat her to the punch.
“Oh, really?” asked Jo. “I’ve never seen you askin’ Songdust about the Clans.” Songdust chuckled and twitched her ear in Jo’s direction.
Luna waved her tail dismissively but her cheeks were a little red as she said, “Well I just didn’t want to bother her.”
“Mhm,” Jo said skeptically and Songdust bumped shoulders with her which prompted her to grin and return the gesture.
“I’m gonna miss you, Jo,” Songdust said quietly as Floodstrike started saying something to Luna.
“Aww, that’s sweet of you, girl,” Jo said back. “I feel like they kept you so cramped under that deck that I never got to get to know you.”
“You should visit, then,” Songdust said. “I need more friends my age.”
“Maybe I will,” the ragged old tortie said with a sly smile. “I’ll bring you back whenever I need to shred some fuckin’ shithead’s ears.”
“Sounds like a plan,” purred Songdust. She was glad that at least one of her new friends seemed interested in staying in touch. Her gaze drifted over to the deck where Schmidt had disappeared and she sighed. If only they all felt that way.
UPDATES: - Songdust is reunited with her Clanmates!

mob warriors au redesigns and such, some i barely changed and others i pretty much started from scratch lol
full canvas and explanations under the cut, theres a bunch of other characters and stuff i didnt manage to fit or didnt have the energy to draw that ill probably get around to in the coming future
Tumblr media
so by virtue of mob psycho kind of acting as a parody of a shonen in a lot of its characters and usage of tropes i felt like it was fitting that a warriors au sort of act as a parody of warriors.
basically, pretty much every major character is either a house cat of some sort, but they all see clan cats as these sort of cool aspirational things so they give themselves warrior names and know of general clan concepts (though, since the nearby clan left a long time ago due to twoleg construction on their territory, these concepts have sort of become distorted over time. istg i came up with this before warriorclan me and erin hunter just have some odd psychic link)
saltsplash (reigen) is a declawed kittypet who loves the taste of freshkill, so he has taken on the persona of a former medicine cat who came from far away on some sort of spiritual quest to help the cats in this area (in reality his owners just moved here) in order to get cats to catch prey for him in exchange for advice. flockpaw (mob) comes to him for advice, since he can see spirits and keeps getting dreams from starclan, and saltsplash agrees to take him as an apprentice
there is a pretty significant ghost problem in the area, the destruction of the moonstone equivalent (this isnt the setting of og warriors because i find switching what region/biome theyre in to be kind of part of the fun to making warriors aus so this is still japan. cats can now encounter monkeys.) has left a lot of souls trapped in the physical plane and unable to pass on. dimple (still going back and forth on his name) is one of these cats, he was a clan cat but so long ago that he's forgotten his original life and only remembers the goal of "bring back the clans with yourself as leader", which he initially tries to posses random cats to do before meeting flockpaw and settling on him as a good potential clan leader
the actual clans, meanwhile, have gone way downhill since they moved away. their numbers were dwindling pretty badly when hawkstar (toichiro) took over his clan, renamed it clawclan, conquered the other clans in the area and marked all his dissenters with scars, and has forged forward with the goal of reconquering their old territory in the twolegplace in the hopes that it will bring the clans back to their glory days. a lot of the more sensible cats, including his mate, have left the clan, so he's resorted to recruiting outsiders as well as kidnapping young cats with warrior potential in order to fill out their numbers
other stuff i dont want to write entire paragraphs for
-teru was someones outdoor cat but his owners moved :( he named himself starpaw and everyone who knows shit about the clans tries to tell him hes not allowed to do that but are too scared to argue further with him about it because he gets really pissed when you point it out
-the telepathy clubs goal is to meet lions, which everyone thinks arent real
-the awakening lab is mitsuura (curlystar maybe?)'s attempt to start his own clan
-the student council is a gang of young kittypets who have tasked themselves with enforcing "the warrior code" among the delinquents (rivals gangs of young alley cats). all the older cats see this as a game theyre playing and dont take it seriously
-flashpaw (mezato) was part of dimple's initial play to brainwash a bunch of cats into reforming a clan and worshiping "starclan" (him) and those group of cats have shifted to seeing flockpaw as starclans prophet, so she's trying to convince HIM to start a new clan
-rainshade (serizawa) was initially a kittypet who always hid in his cat carrier out of his fear of his starclan given powers, hawkstar found him on one of his recruiting missions because his mother was worried for him and was asking around for someone with experience with starclan
-mogami (crowflight maybe? maggotsomething?) was an actual former warrior who went to twolegplace to get help for his sick mother after starclan said there was nothing that could be done for her. kittypets offered to get her help in exchange for him helping them with spirit problems and got their owners to bring her to the cutter (vet) and when they did the vets put her down so he started killing cats about it seeing them all as selfish thugs beyond redemption before his own death and transformation into a vengeful spirit
-minori (still thinking of a name bc i dont have her design down) is someones very haughty purebred show cat who gets hella possessed.
-didnt anyone ever teach you feeding downed fledglings was bad manners?
-SunClan (the rising sun union) are a gang of random housecats, some of whom have actual StarClan connections and others are just opportunistic liars, who use extremely predatory means to help cats with their ghost problems (asking for a specific share of a cat's meals permanently rather than saltsplash's ask of like. one fresh songbird)
thats all the stuff i can think of off the top of my head but if you ask questions i can probably answer them bc ive been thinking about this since like. march 2022.

Weird idea but hear me out :
Something that always kind of "scratched" my brain was that the three have animal names, while Hollyleaf has a plant name, so I guess her name was foreshadowing the fact that she wasn't part of the Three.
However Hollyleaf is seen having connexions with ghosts (such as Fallen Leaves)
We know that the Dark Forest and the Starclan cats can interact with living cats (like literally fighting, talking to them, and in certain conditions, gift them powers). We also know that there is a place where non-believing cats go to (as Ravenpaw declined his place to Starclan to go wherever Barley goes to after his death), which I will call the Nowhere for simplicity
So what if Hollyleaf was gifted powers by the cats from the Nowhere ? Not random kittypets, but Clan cats / loners who literally stopped believing in Starclan because they perceived Starclan as a destructive and dangerous entity. Clan cats who rejected Starclan because it was manipulating living cats and making their life a living hell for seemingly no purpose (Squirrelflight, Leafpool for example, or Jayfeather, Goosefeather). Starclan refused to accept these cats after their deaths because, while they were good cats, they refused to follow Starclan's instructions, and therefore ended up in the Nowhere. In this AU, Fallen Leaves is part of the Nowhere and even when he espaces the tunnels, he refuses to join Starclan as he feels furious that Starclan left him for 100 years lost alone in the tunnels.
After the Three drowned Ashfur together (a great teamwork right there), Hollyleaf feels incredibly guilty. She was always obsessed with following the Warrior Code, and breaking it by killing a cat - Her own clanmate - made her feel horrible. She ends up telling everyone the Truth at the gathering just like in canon, but takes all the responsability of Ashfur's murder, making her brothers seem innocent. She doesn't try to kill Leafpool as she has grown way too attached to her aunt - now mother - and instead she asks for the full story. Leafpool explains everything, including how Starclan manipulated her and Squirrelflight. Hollyleaf is horrified at everything she learns and feels she doesn't belong. She immediately rushes to the tunnels, where she gets trapped.
She spends a long time reflecting, and feels betrayed by Starclan. She expected to have powers like her brothers, and for no reason at all, she gets none. Why wasn't she gifted anything ? Why would Starclan even gift kits born from a forbidden love ? Why did Starclan lie to Squirrelflight so that she would for sure adopt Leafpool's kits ?Did Starclan trap Leafpool and Squirrelflight on purpose, for their own entertainment ?
In the tunnels, she meets Fallen Leaves, and through him, is able to enter in contact with the Nowhere, and all the Clan cats who felt betrayed and used by Starclan.
This is just a small idea for now but I really like this concept :) and also I hate Starclan grrr
I call this AU Hollyleaf from the Nowhere for now !
This AU is connected with the Lionblaze is Scourge AU for now too !
IMPORTANT THING : The cats on the top of the picture are ghosts, not Starclan cats ! Starclan cats have stars on their pelt, while ghosts and wandering spirits just have a white outline in my depictions !

Mantisclan’s First 33 Moons
Tumblr media
Meet Mantisclan! A small clan, formed relatively recently and currently in the shadow of its much larger sister clans, Snailclan and Cricketclan, Mantisclan prides itself on its piousness and devotion to Starclan. Their territory encompasses a wooded area on the border of a twoleg settlement that is split down the middle between the three clans.
Want to know what happened to Mantisclan in the first 33 moons of the story? Keep reading to find out!
Moons 0-10
On the very first moon, Briarmoth, Mantisclan’s deputy, got his paw stuck in a twoleg trap! The very next moon the fierce cat succumbed to his injuries and was mourned by his clanmates and appreciated for his devotion to Mantisclan.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the wake of his death, Quietstar and Bonespeckle would spend a lot of time together reminiscing about Briarmoth and eventually made it official- they were mates! In a show of love and trust between the two cats, Quietstar appointed Bonespeckle as the new deputy of Mantisclan.
Tumblr media
On moon three, Mousekit became Mousepaw! He is apprenticed to Quietstar- being so close to the leader makes him nervous, should he bring up the strange dreams he’s been having? …Best not to. It’s not like anyone would care anyway. On his first patrol as an apprentice, Mousepaw finds the quickly cooling body of a young, abandoned kit. Saying a short prayer, the patrol buries the small cat and continues on. Mousepaw can’t help but feel this was a bad omen.
Tumblr media
On moon four, Mousepaw was bitten by a snake, and succumbed to the venom. As he takes his last breath he takes solace in the fact that at least now the dreams will stop and he will wake up among the stars.
Tumblr media
Mousepaw is distraught after being sent to the Place of No Stars. Why was he sent there? Surely this doesn’t have anything to do with the dreams that have been plaguing the tom?
Tumblr media
On moon seven Quietstar and Bonespeckle find a single abandoned kit that they decide to adopt together, naming her Sunkit.
Tumblr media
Lots of things happened on moon ten!
Bonespeckle agreed to venture with Dovewhisker out onto a frozen pond. Bonespeckle went first while Dovewhisker hung back. Bonespeckle slid around playfully, taunting the other cat to chase her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She was about to launch another teasing remark when the ice cracked below her paws. Dovewhisker lingered to make sure she didn't surface before running back to camp with a yowl. He had never liked Bonespeckle, and the fact he needed her out of the way in order to access the deputy position was just a pleasant coincidence. Besides, the dreams he’d been having lately of the late Mousepaw had been urging him to do something about Bonespeckle.
Larkshade and Quietstar fall into a deep grief, having lost a friend and a lover respectively. After many nights spent mourning her mate, Quietstar finally appoints a new second-in-command.
Dovewhisker.
In her grief-stricken recklessness, Larkshade fought a rogue, and while she drove the trespasser away, she needed to be rushed to the medicine den afterwards.
Moons 11-20
On moon twelve, Quietstar and Larkshade leaned on each other to lessen their shared grief and slowly start moving forward again. A new addition also joins the clan in the form of Bluesky, an abandoned kittypet.
Tumblr media
On moon thirteen, Larkshade just couldn’t fight her wounds any more and succumbed to her injuries. As she makes her way to Starclan, she takes solace in the fact that she will be reunited with Bonespeckle and Briarmoth.
Sunkit also becomes Sunpaw! And Quietstar couldn’t be prouder as she assigns the cat she trusts the most to teach her daughter. Dovewhisker.
Tumblr media
On moon seventeen, another new cat joins the clan! This time bringing with her three kittens. Meet Breeze (Echokit, Locustkit and Branchkit not pictured)
Tumblr media
On moon nineteen, Sunpaw becomes Sunsap and injures her leg in a twoleg trap, causing Quietstar to panic. She can’t lose another cat like this. Not again.
On moon twenty, after a long struggle with greencough, Quietstar succumbs, losing a life to the disease. Facing death has a different effect on every cat. For Quietstar, they have now realised that she-cat no longer describes them. They are much happier now, feeling as though they have a new lease on life.
Echokit refuses once again to go out and play, his joints swollen and painful. It’s becoming clear this is not an isolated instance, and Echokit might need some help. He is diagnosed by Blisseyes with chronic joint pain.
Tumblr media
Moons 21-33
The very next moon, his sister is diagnosed with persistent headaches. The chronic illness siblings!
Tumblr media
On moon twenty two, Sunsap’s mangled leg is looking much better and seems to have healed well. Quietstar is extremely relieved.
Tumblr media
Another queen joins the clan on this moon! Meet Fumble (Thistlekit, Tadpolekit and Ospreykit not pictured).
Tumblr media
On moon twenty three, Breeze’s kits became apprentices! Meet Locustpaw, Echpaw and Branchpaw.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Along with the rank-ups, a new loner joined the clan!
Tumblr media
On moon twenty five Perditofog joins the clan with her kits (Stemkit and Magnoliakit, not pictured)
Tumblr media
During moon twenty seven, an apprentice from Snailclan defected to join Mantisclan. The very next moon she graduated, earning the name Mumblecrackle.
Tumblr media
During moon twenty eight Fumble’s litter became apprentices! Meet Tadpolepaw, Thistlepaw and Ospreypaw.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next moon, Breeze’s kits became warriors, earning the names Locustpond, Branchheart and Echodapple.
On moon thirty, Dovewhisker’s tail healed from a previous run-in with a dog but was left permanently scarred. Deciding to retire due to his growing age and the fact he could influence the clan just as well as a respected senior, he moves to the elder’s den.
Tumblr media
Bluesky is appointed deputy in his place.
While on patrol, Quietstar, Tadpolepaw, Echodapple, Peter Pangrove and Branchheart hear desperate screams coming from a nearby lake. Upon seeing the twoleg and the screeching bag they are holding, Echodapple just can't take it. He jumps into action without waiting for the rest of the patrol to back him up and he pays the price. Grabbed by the scruff and thrown hard onto the floor, the only thing the rest of the patrol can do is grab Echodapple and flee back to the safety of Mantisclan. Echodapple suffers serious head injuries.
Tumblr media
On moon thirty one the Perditofog kits become apprentices! Meet Stempaw and Magnoliapaw.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also this moon, Sunsap fought a big dog and was seriously injured.
Now you’re all caught up!

My new Clangen clan, Kittyclan, a year (12 moons) in!
I thought it would be fun to draw my clan every 12 moons or so! (though after these first 12 moons I prob wont draw every cat! this took forever...)
The backstory of this clan, is that they were all Kittypets who decided to run away and start their own clan in the woods!
More info on the clan so far below! v
My first starclan cat, Onetree, used to be a warrior, and then a med cat, in a old clan, but in her old age she was guided by starclan to the Twolegplace nearby. There at the twolegplace she was taken in by two twolegs, and was named Granny Cat. Her Housefolk had another cat, a kitten named Milky, and Granny knew once she met him that he would one day do something great. Milky would take a group of cats into the forest and create his own clan. Granny knew Starclan had guided her here to teach Milky of the clans and the skills of a warrior and so she tried her hardest to do just that, taking Milky in as her own.
After Granny Cat passed away Milky became determined to live in the forest that Granny had once lived in. Not only this, Milky decided he should create his own clan! He convinced several fellow kittypets to join him in his mission and he named their new clan Kittyclan for their kittypet roots. He took them into the woods to find a territory and camp and Starclan guided Milky to a gully in the woods, perfect for a camp, and the new clan knew that this would be their new home. That night after settling Milky received his 9 lives from starclan, and was given his Leader’s name, Milkystar!
Notable things that have happened so far:
Milkystar has already lost two lives?? He lost one to a border skirmish where Onyxpelt also died, and he lost another falling from a tree (tho I suspect he was very distracted that moon due to his mate announcing that he was expecting kits lol)
For some reason Milkystar and Sweetpea have little to no feelings about each other. They slightly like each other and slightly hate each other?? all the other cats og cats have at least a good amount of platonic like towards each other (except for Lint ig)! I guess their Leader and deputy relationship is like an awkward coworkers relationship lol.
Milkystar and Fredheart are mates! they both had the beginnings of romantic feelings for each other and I wanted kits so I got them together! Idk if this was a good decision however because their dislike bars towards eachother are starting to go up :/. Love hate romance. They are going to have kits tho!!
Fredheart and Sweetpea are BFFs for ever, they have such high platinic love bars! its kinda funny since Sweet does not care for Fred’s mate lol.
Poor Fluttershy lost her leg in a twoleg trap...
I got three new additions to the clan! Jessicapuddle, Onyxpelt and Splashmoth! Onyx almost immediately died in that border skirmish, but luckily that's the only death so far!
Jessicapuddle came out as a trans man and i think that’s hilarious bec this is one of the only times when i have seemingly got a female kittypet name on a female cat.
Splashmoth’s name kinda sounds like Smashmouth.... also I designed her to look kinda similar to Onetree/Granny bec they have the same personality traits, and spotted pelt pattern... maybe they r related, who knows. (I also like the idea that she eerily reminds Milky of Granny)
Lintheather has no friends??? like at all??? nobody has strong platonic feelings towards him at all!! its so sad... I feel like hes so lonely and kind of regretting joining the clan now :(
Beanzsong on the other hand is everyone’s favorite omg... he’s also very close with his mentor Sweetpea!
Creatureivy is also very close to her mentor Milkystar and i like to think that Milky treated her as his daughter since she was a kit at the start of the clan!

THE RULES that I have been going off of, for everyone voting as if this were a fight to the death:
this is a regular episode of Danny Phantom
the cats are loose in Amity Park, this is not an arena or anything.
there are a lot of cats but they aren't trying to kill Danny in particular or are unrealistically aggressive, they are just cats, a good chunk of them being kittens or unable to fight, probably confused as to where they've been transported to
they act like normal feral cats do (there is a difference between ferals & strays). they are not smarter (they think cars are animals) or trained any more than in canon, which does not include fighting humans with technology that can trap cats (it is canon that they cannot fight this & do not train to fight this)
the cats do not have special superpowers that can oneshot Danny, because this is not canon in Warriors. they are literally just animal ghosts. i think they have prophetic visions about the clans, but I don't see how this helps them escape Danny's C&R program as it didn't help the last time
Danny has all of his canon powers
Danny has all of his "training" & practice from canon
Danny has all of the canon Fenton tech, maybe even ghost proof live traps because let's be real, Maddie & Jack would immediately make a bunch if there was a ghost cat problem
Danny has the benefit of looking up "how to catch feral cats"
Danny has help from whoever he is allied with in canon
we're all stupid because this is not the question we should be focusing on
we should be focusing on how the hell Starclan suddenly disappearing would affect the clans
my answer under the cut
Tumblr media
Danny would win, but it would take him months to catch all of them & he would suffer the whole time
he's a dog person too so he wouldn't know how to handle them. Sam would be able to handle them but as soon as any of them start to warm up to Danny (probably like Pinestar or another warrior-turned-kittypet) Cujo would show up & they'd all scatter
except for Swiftpaw, he'd probably fight Cujo, traumatizing him & making it impossible for him to get along with cats in the future, obviously making the situation worse

Charred Legacy: Chapter Twenty-Eight
(AO3 counterpart here.)
However, the world does not stop for grief. Fireheart and the rest of the Clan had duties to attend to, prey to catch, borders to mark. Keeping them busy would stave off that sinkhole of despair; that seemed to be the running theory, anyway, if Speckletail’s constant orders were anything to go by.
Fireheart didn’t blame her. She was in a tough situation, he knew that, and she was doing an admirable job for what she had in her supply. But it did strike him that she was more running herself ragged than busying her Clanmates.
“I’m fine,” she would say every single time Fireheart checked on her. “Just do your duties and take care of your apprentice. Let me handle this.”
And every time, with increasing exasperation, he would think, Why would you expect me of all cats to drop the subject when you’re visibly not doing well? He’d never say it, but he was certain it was showing on his face, because she’d dart her eyes away and hurry off to do something else.
He obeyed her, at least, kind of just to humor her. Not entirely—Cloudpaw was eager to learn and explore, and Fireheart was eager to show him new knacks and skills. Having Cloudpaw’s learning style on the mind, his nephew caught onto lessons quickly. Fireheart watched with pride as his nephew started finding and catching prey on his own (though he still missed the jump here and there). Even better, he seemed as disinterested in learning to fight as Fireheart was in teaching him.
“Figures,” Darkstripe muttered one night. “The cat who’s never even raised a paw to defend his Clan would have an apprentice just like him.”
Fireheart’s thoughts escaped him before he could trap them between his teeth. “Well, hopefully your apprentice is learning a lot of great fighting skills from you. You’re famous for that, I hear.”
Darkstripe twitched his lip, but didn’t respond. Cloudpaw gave Fireheart a cheeky look, and he couldn’t resist a wink back.
One night, Cloudpaw was unusually subdued. Fireheart had brought him out to the southern part of the forest for tree-climbing practice on a surprisingly clear night, the stars glittering overhead and the air kindly still. At Fireheart’s order, Cloudpaw clambered up a few trees, sliding down once or twice and landing on his back, getting covered in snow. Even this didn’t seem to make him want to talk.
Well, Fireheart knew what to do with that. “Is something bothering you, little guy?”
Cloudpaw stood up from his slide down a trunk, shuffling his feet a little. Bark-slivers were pulled off his claws as he sharpened them on an exposed root. He didn’t look at his uncle for a long moment, until he approached and more-or-less forced eye contact.
“Do kittypets go out at night?” he asked at last.
Fireheart had a faint idea where this was going. “They sometimes do. They’re usually up in the day, or in the evening. Why?”
As he suspected, Cloudpaw hesitated before asking quietly, “Can we go see Rosy?”
Fireheart only paused to gauge what time of night it was: a little less than halfway through. To the increasingly nervous-looking Cloudpaw, he said, “Of course we can. Come on.”
He turned around and started off towards the Houses. Cloudpaw scurried along behind him, catching up quickly with his tail high and bristling in stress at the same time. Fireheart let him sort through his anxieties on his own, and the organized questions came soon:
“What if she doesn’t come out?”
“We’ll try another night.”
“Will we get in trouble if someone sees us?”
“Speckletail is pretty understanding. But we might get scolded a little by anyone else.” He blinked reassuringly. “Don’t worry. No one’s coming this way tonight and we have time to chat a little before anyone wonders where we are.”
Then a much bigger worry. “…What if she doesn’t like me?”
Fireheart stopped at that one and gave his nephew a gentle look. “She will. I promise.”
Cloudpaw met his eyes, saw the confidence in them, and settled. He took in a deep breath and nodded, walking with a more certain stride alongside his uncle.
They reached the Houses quickly. Fireheart took the lead, trotting through the grass and onto the stony, skinny road. Cloudpaw made a face at the new texture on his paws, but he didn’t say anything until they stopped in front of Rosy’s house.
“Is this it?” he whispered, like he was afraid to be heard.
Fireheart nodded. “You’ll be able to climb this fence easy, but wait for my signal. I want to surprise her.”
At this, Cloudpaw’s eyes lit up. He sat down and watched Fireheart leap up onto the top of the fence and jump down into the yard without a word.
“Rosy!” Fireheart called, pawing at the flap in the door. “Rosy?”
Only a heartbeat passed before he was nearly tackled by his sister as she sped out of the house. She barely stopped in time to avoid completely bowling him over, but he did have to stumble back a few steps.
“Fireheart!” she cried, purring like a car. She wove around him, rubbing her fur and face on his shoulders and neck. “You’re here!”
“I am here.” Fireheart bumped his head against hers when she stood still for a moment. “I’m sorry it’s been so long. A lot’s been happening.”
“I– I heard.” Rosy’s joy slipped into an anxiety similar to Cloudpaw’s. “The fire, I smelled the smoke. I was so worried for you and Cloudy. Is he okay? When can I see him again?”
“Oh…” Fireheart falsely paused in uncertainty. “About that…”
He immediately regretted the joke when Rosy’s yellow-green eyes bulged in terror. Quickly, he turned his head and called, “Come on over!”
A bit of scraping and scrabbling, and a ginger-pointed face popped up over the fenceline. Rosy gasped as Cloudpaw landed with admirable grace and stood as tall as he could. Fireheart realized too late that there was still snow on his back.
“Cloudpaw,” Fireheart said, gesturing, “This is your birth-mother, Rosy.”
He didn’t get a chance to say anything else. Rosy burst forward with a cry of joy and scooped up the considerably wider apprentice in a single-paw embrace, holding him to her chest like he was still a tiny kit. Fireheart watched with amusement and warmth as Rosy licked the top of her son’s head, purring so loudly Fireheart half-wondered if her humans could hear her.
“Oh, look at you!” She drew back to touch her nose to where she had licked. “Look at my baby boy!” She released him to wind around him too, nosing him and chattering excitedly. “You’re so big and handsome now, Cloudy, look at how lovely your fur is- oh, you poor thing, you’re covered in snow, here—”
Cloudpaw had a face Fireheart wished he could somehow capture somewhere other than his memory: confused, startled, bashful, and cautiously happy all at once. It was quite a mix of emotions to see as Rosy dusted his back and sides clear of any remaining snow, still talking the whole time.
“…and your colors are coming out so beautifully, you look just like your father—” She finally came to a stop in front of him, purring through her words. “You must be such a big, strong warrior!”
“Oh…” Cloudpaw meekly lowered his head a bit. “I’m just an apprentice right now.”
“He became one early,” Fireheart told Rosy. “He’s Cloudpaw now.”
“Oh, yes, yes, sorry.” Rosy shook her head. “Name changing, I forgot.” She returned her attention to her son. “When do you get your warrior name? Will it be soon? You have to come and tell me as soon as you get it! I’d love to hear your real grown-up name!”
“Rosy?” Fireheart took a step towards her. She looked his way and he twitched his whiskers. “You’re overwhelming him a little.”
Rosy looked back at Cloudpaw, who gave her a sheepish nod, and stepped back with a deep inhale. She shook herself hard and spoke slower.
“I’m sorry, baby boy,” she said, still shuffling a little in place. “I’m just so excited to see you again! Fireheart must have told you, I gave him to you so that I could know you were safe and happy.” Her ears fell back a little and her voice softened. “All of your siblings went away to different houses so long ago. I miss you and them every single day. I’m just so grateful that you got to live nearby and be taken care of. The molly who nursed you, will you tell her I said ‘thank you for raising my son’?”
Cloudpaw stiffened immediately. His eyes darted to Fireheart’s, and his uncle stepped in.
“She knows,” he said. “And she was happy to raise him.”
Rosy didn’t appear to notice the change in his volume; she simply continued on with the conversation. “Tell me everything! I heard you grew up with that molly’s litter? What are they like? How is being an apprentice? What’s your favorite thing about the forest? I want to hear it all!”
“W-well, um…” Cloudpaw sat down at a gesture from Rosy. “My brother and sister are Ashpaw and Aspenpaw. They’re both grey, like mi.”
“‘Mi’,” Rosy echoed, a little muted herself. Before anyone had time to reflect or respond, she shook her head and brightened up again. “Are they big and fluffy like the rest of your Clan?”
“Well, Ashpaw’s pretty skinny,” Cloudpaw said, slowly growing more confident. “He’s not as tall, either. Aspenpaw, she’s regular-sized. We all train together sometimes. It’s really fun, because we’re still kind of playing, but we’re learning at the same time.”
“He’s been excellent at tracking down prey so far,” Fireheart added. “And he’s snuck up on me in the snow before he was even an apprentice.”
Rosy trilled. “You’re amazing! I knew you would be.”
Cloudpaw relaxed a little more. “I mean, I just follow pawprints and scents. It’s not really that hard… but I like doing that in the forest, too. I didn’t see any of it before the fire, because kits aren’t allowed out of camp until they become apprentices.” He perked up. “And Fireheart saved us! Eparme*, tell her about that.”
“We’re supposed to be showing you off.” Fireheart approached and sat down to the side so Rosy still had complete access to Cloudpaw. “I can tell her about that later.”
Rosy shuddered. “Yes, please wait. I’d love to hear the story someday, but the idea of you both being stuck in a fire… it’s too awful.”
“It was really scary,” Cloudpaw confirmed. “But we’re okay now.” He hesitated. “But… Patchpelt died, when we were running away.”
“Ohhh…” Rosy moved forward and started grooming Cloudpaw’s head. “I’m so sorry, baby boy. Was he a good friend of yours?”
Cloudpaw spoke quietly. “He was an elder, and he was nice. Ravenwing was really, really sad.”
“My friend,” Fireheart elaborated. “Patchpelt was his grandfather.”
Rosy looked to Fireheart now. “Was he the one I met? Black and skinny?”
Fireheart nodded.
“Poor thing…” Rosy turned back to Cloudpaw, but she seemed to be speaking to herself. “I don’t know if it’s worse to know exactly what happened to someone you love or to never know.”
There was a brief moment of silence.
Fireheart broke it. “Cloudpaw, is there anything else you want to tell Rosy? We should leave pretty soon, before dawn starts coming up.”
“Uh…” Cloudpaw thought for a moment. His words were soft and a bit hesitant, but they were earnest. “It was nice to meet you, Rosy. Mira. Um. You know.” He straightened up again. “I’ll come back when I can.” He peeked at Fireheart. “If I can.”
Fireheart nodded warmly.
Rosy rasped her tongue over his left ear. “Please do come back soon, Cloudpaw. And Fireheart. I’ve missed you both so much. It was torture, not knowing if you were okay.”
“I’m sorry about that.” Fireheart stood up, tilting his head with the apology. “We ended up traveling all the way across the territories to live in the Barn—a big, empty house—and we had to wait to go home until all the humans were gone.”
Rosy sighed in a sad way, rather than exasperation or frustration. “I think I can be ready to hear the story the next time you come by. When will that be, do you know?”
Cloudpaw looked inquiringly at Fireheart.
“I don’t,” he said. “There’s still a lot going on for us.”
Another inquiring look, one with a clear message: Do we tell her about…?
About what didn’t matter. There were too many things to say that would send her into a panic. Fireheart just shook his head.
“Well, alright…” Rosy licked Cloudpaw’s forehead a final time, then turned and pressed her own head under Fireheart’s chin. “Thank you for coming. Thank you so much for– for everything. Taking care of him, teaching him, bringing him here…” Her wide eyes were wet when she drew back. “You don’t know how much that means to me.”
Fireheart touched his nose just above and between her eyes. “It’s been an honor.”
Cloudpaw said nothing, just blinked kindly at his mother. Rosy blinked back and stood there, watching them as they jumped up onto the rail and over the fence. Fireheart didn’t hear her flap open again, even after they were quite a distance away.
“She was nice,” Cloudpaw said at last. “I like her.”
“Good!” Fireheart bobbed his head encouragingly. “I meant it when I said I don’t know when we can go back, but I’ll get you back there as soon as I can. As long as it’s safe.”
Cloudpaw paused. “Should we have told her about the dogs? What if they come into the Houses?”
Fireheart sighed. “My friend here knows about them. The last I heard, rumors were going around, but Rosy doesn’t leave her yard very often. And, well, I didn’t want to tell her about the dogs when they’ve done… what they’ve done.”
Cloudpaw shivered.
“If you weren’t there, I would have said something,” Fireheart continued. “But I can’t bring you to her for the first time and immediately tell her you’ve been in more danger than just the fire.”
“…Okay.”
Fireheart looked at his nephew. “What’s on your mind? The dogs?”
“No,” Cloudpaw almost murmured. “I’m just thinking.”
Fireheart tapped his side with his tail. “Well, if you want to share those thoughts, I’m right here. Rosy will be, too.”
At this, the tension in Cloudpaw’s body eased. His fur smoothed out and his tail raised.
“Yeah.” His eyes softened. “She will. I’m glad I met her.”
“See, I told you she’d like you, remember?”
A small crease in his blue eyes. “…Yeah.”

I think it would be funny if there is an au where more cats got picked up by humans and got trapped inside a house. Mapleshade, Brokenstar, Gray Wing? Kittypet. Half the clans cats getting picked up by a random human on the journey to the lake. Kittypet time.

something that's really interesting to me about warriorclan and one of the reasons i hope it shows up in thunder is yes it was created by kittypets for funsies who had to go home at the end of the day, but after the trapped cats were released from the twolegplace... those guys don't have twolegs to go to at night. they live in warriorclan, in dens and in camp. they take care of eachother, live together and thrive, just as a real clan would. built to bring joy, it's now a sanctuary for those with nowhere else to go who don't want to be alone

The Dark Forest Rebel Leaders
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The four leaders of the Miretrees Rebellion, their stories are as varied as their clan origins.
Snowtuft was born in Riverclan during the reign of Willowstar. He was a loyal Warrior, if overly serious. His downfall was set off when he became obsessed with defeating a rival Skyclan tom, Dribblefur. His obsession became manic when Dribblefur saved some Riverclan kits from a hawk, which overshadowed Snowtuft killing the hawk itself! How DARE HE! So, in the next minor border skirmish, Snowtuft tried to kill Dribblefur - and succeeded in dealing a fatal blow. But only at the cost of his own life...
Silverhawk was a Hunter and Tracker of Windclan. He had been found as a kit on the border, and was mates with the Brawler Emberdawn. Their son, Mudpuddle, was Stonestar's loyal Deputy for many years, but Silverhawk became worried - he always felt anxious about his non-clan origins, and had felt so proud of his son for becoming Deputy, but Stonestar was so so old but still thriving, and Mudpuddle was starting to complain of aging joints. These thoughts lead him down a dark and paranoid path mentally. Silverhawk set up a trap - he led Stonestar into an angry dog, but Mudpuddle bravely threw himself in front of the aging leader and was killed. Silverhawk, horrified and furious, charged Stonestar, but was killed by the dog as well...
Sparrowfeather was born to Thunderclan, and apprenticed to Lionstar himself. She was always a layabout and far too nosy for her own good, and prided herself for knowing secrets from other clans. This lead to her death, as she began selling Thunderclan secrets to Riverclan and Shadowclan for prey, as she hated being a Hunter. This led to a fateful border battle, when a Riverclan cat used her battle move information to get past her defenses and kill her...
Maggottail was born Slickscales of Shadowclan, during the rule of Brindlestar. He was born hairless, and seen as blessed by Starclan in some way. Slickscales used this to his advantage, becoming nearly as influential as Brindlestar. After an argument that led to blows and losing a life, Brindlestar banished Slickscales, and gave him the dishonor title Maggottail. Maggottail would terrorize the local kittypets, stealing their food and attacking them for fun. Eventually, he became so out of shape and unhealthy that his heart gave out...
These four fell into the Mire. These four regretted their actions. These four met a starry visitor who changed everything. And they became the first four who would visit the conflicted living in their dreams, to keep them on the right path. But first, they would speak to those they hurt the most...
Snowtuft was able to apologize to Dribblefur, who was remembered in Riverclan histories for saving a future leader. They parted ways after quite a while, with Dribblefur's well wishes and sincere hopes echoing in Snowtuft's ears. They could have been friends once, and maybe they could be friends again, for Dribblefur was amazingly forgiving.
Silverhawk was reunited with his mate and son. They embraced him lovingly and tearily, and Emberdawn vowed to wait for him. Stonefur accepted his sincere apology, and charged Silverhawk with becoming a better cat. Mudpuddle wove a new feather, fresh from Starclan, to help remind him of the cat he once was.
Sparrowfeather was confronted by Lionstar, who shamed her for her actions. How many cats had died for her actions? How many cats had gone hungry? Lionstar left sputtering in rage and commanding the cats he had guided to never speak to her, but Sparrowfeather's siblings Finchwing and Lichenfoot stayed to speak to her. Their faith in Sparrowfeather's ability to change gave her hope that she could truly change.
Maggottail watched Brindlestar saunter towards him, and laid himself out to beg forgiveness. Brindlestar stared as he spoke, and after a long pause, snorted and called Maggottail as dramatic as ever. She forgave him, on the condition that he be just as dramatic keeping the living from falling like he did.
