Snaketail! He is a Shadowclan cat who appears in Power of Three and Omen of the Stars and then kinda just dissapears. He is Scorchfur's Mentor in Eclipse, and gets really attached to Sol when he takes over Shadowclan. He's on a Shadowclan boarder patrol that catches hazeltail and Hollyleaf nearly chasing a squirrel accross the boarder, that becomes plot relevant when he provokes a fight with Birchfall by saying that Sol talks sense, that maybe Thunderclan should learn to fight its' own battles, and that maybe the vanishing sun meant the time for clans is over altogether and Thunderclan is too cowardly to face that. It's implied in supplemental materials that he's a very battle eager cat, and cares most about strategy and advantages, a trait he seems to pass down to his apprentice Scorchfur. As an aside, I've always found it funny that he was added to shadowclan just a year after another Snaketail appeared in Firestar's Quest as an ancient Shadowclan deputy in the allegiances of that book, almost as if the authors were sad that they wasted such a good name on a cat that doesn't really exist for more than just a mention, and made a new one in modern times to make up for it. No known relatives, There's also no confirmation that he's died, but he was an elder in the Great Battle so surely he has passed somewhere between then and the Starless Clan arc, but Oakfur's still kicking so who knows really.

The title of changing skies 2 has been teased on Instagram. Full title reveal coming next week.

My initial guess is perhaps “Hidden Moon”, would that fit? Or perhaps “Hidden Pool”?

Owlclaw! I feel kind of bad for him, despite being apprenticed at the same time as Ivytail he remains an apprentice the entire year of The Power of Three arc. Tawnypelt's kits are born and apprenticed before he gets his warrior name. I'd like to say the authors forgot, but also it's kind of silly to think he had his own "three assessments!" moment going on in the background way before Nightheart appears as a protagonist, but I digress. He is pretty stock shadowclan, proud of his skills and distainful of thunderclan. He mocks jaypaw in the only battle jay fights in as an apprentice, before getting his tail handed to him by lionblaze for taunting his brother. He boasts that he can beat any thunderclan cat at hunting in the daylight gathering, and is upset when he isn't chosen as the winner of his challenge because lionpaw and Breezepaw fall in a badger set and almost die, no big. He's just kind of interesting idk he challenges berrynose to a jumping contest in the background of a gathering once. He's the warrior that notices Lionblaze kills Russetfur first, and yells out in shock. He's in some more patrols and battles but those are the notable ones. His last appearance is in Bramblestar's SE as a warrior.
